Isagi realized when the two of you were on a night walk, the moonlight gently shined at your features, really wide smile on your face as you talked about some stupid things, she could barely understand what you were saying, just staring at your face. You swear! you saw hearts in her eyes in that moment.

As we all know Isagi ain’t nonchalant, she tried shooting her shot any occasion she had :3 (ain’t she cute?) Sadly you were too shy to ask her is she meant it in friendly way or if she really does love you, but one night Isagi decided to straight up say that she loves you.

It wasn’t anything spectacular just simple “I love you [name] i really do, and not just in a friendly way, i mean it like romantically i want to be your girlfriend! and i mean it with all my heart!!” and of course you agreed, after all you loved her too.

Rin is NOTHING! like our sweetheart Isagi, she is literally the definition of nonchalant.

She tried really really hard to gaslight herself into thinking she doesn’t love you, that you two are just friends, that the butterflies in her stomach are actually a small stomach ache.

But everything changed one peaceful day when you asked her if you can come to her soccer match, she wanted to tell you that you can’t, but the way your voice sounded oh so sweet on the other side of her phone, she just couldn’t refuse.

It started off peacefully she glanced at you couple of times before the match started and nothing much, but the second she heard you scream her name a loud as u can when she scored the final goal… she realized she was so fucking hard in love with you, so hard she didn’t even notice when she started running to you right after the match ended saying “I love you, be my girlfriend” and then kissing your lips quickly but passionately at the same time.

Sae is WAY more nonchalant than her sister, she is plotting inside but outside u will never know she loves you until she says it to your face.

Let’s be fr this woman ain’t broke, even before you two started dating (:3) she was buying you expensive gifts and taking you out to dinners (just in a friendly way/jk)

She was delusional too (like her sis) telling herself this dinners mean nothing, all the necklaces, rings and bracelets she got you were just to make you look prettier. But the realization hit her just like a flying brick.

When the two of you were at a fancy restaurant (again :>) you wore the most beautiful dress she ever seen, wearing all the expensive necklaces, earrings and rings she got you, the dress exposed your every curve (especially your ass) she swears her heart skipped more then one beat the moment she saw you waiting for her in front of her house to pick you up.

The dinner went like every dinner you two been to, she picked you up telling you you looked beautiful as always, eating the food you two ordered, laughing and smiling at each other, then when it was time to drop you off she realized a chance like this will never happen again so she said “Thank you for spending time with me today, you looked as beautiful as always but i have to ask you something. Will you be my girlfriend [Name]? I love you” Of course you said yes, she was the only girl that mattered to you. (you two then went to your house and got freaky ;)

So you’re moderate looking together!

He honestly wholeheartedly believes that he doesn’t deserve you, hot or not, he worships the ground you walk on because you decided to hand your heart over to him.

He can obviously tell your insecure sometimes about your looks

Cause he gets that way too..

But, he tells you he loves you and that your beautiful in his eyes, and that’s all that matters <3

So when he catches you looking in the mirror, disgusted to no end, he puts his nervousness aside and takes action.

“Ew.”

That’s all you could think. You’ve been pulling and prodding at your face for what felt like hours. No matter how much makeup you throw on you can’t escape being so.. moderate. It’s all you ever are. Why can’t you be something more? Why does everyone else look so good and you’re just the sad little camera man? Never destined to be on stage, in the light with the others, like you deserve.

The one thing you’re good at, is your pathetic job. And even then, you’re sure others would succeed at it more if they tried.

Eyes glance down at the used makeup wipe in your hand. Further tracking to the open lipsticks, and eyeshadow palettes. And a deep sigh escapes you, why do you even try? It’s not like it matters.

Then you start to wonder if maybe, just maybe, you were a last resort. Your not pretty, your not stunning-

Andrew stands behind you, coughing to get your attention, while watching you, his eyes filed with pity.

You really didn’t hear him come in, and it startled you. How long has he been standing there? Did he hear you? Most likely..

You start to explain, “Andrew, it’s not what it looks like, I’m just-”

But he cuts you off, “No, I.. I know what you’re thinking. What you’re doing. I know that look all too well. I just didn’t think I’d have to see you wear it.”

“What-?” You began again, but he shakes his head, walking up to you, hesitantly reaching out to you with his shaky nimble fingers. Pulling you into a hug, that felt almost.. forced. But it was comforting either way. He takes a deep breath steeling himself for what he’s about to say, and then blurts out,

“Being, what I am, has always been unsavory in my eyes. I’ve grown too comfortable with the common look of disgust that sometimes I show it to myself. But that changed when I met you, you helped show me a new way to look at myself. I just never assumed you’d feel the same way I did. Even though others may not think you’re gorgeous, at least I do. You’re like an angel. My angel.”

Wow.. he really just said all of that? For you? And meant it? He really does love you..

He’s a man of very few words.

So instead he shows it in actions!

He’s not much to look at either in his opinion, he’s more of a scarred, battle harden, shell shocked, soldier, that definitely has survivors guilt.

Instead of Andrew’s reason of not deserving you, he believes that he’s just a used up broken man that should be dead with the rest of his platoon. But this wonderful person in his life is a sign that maybe he should stick around.

You’ve given him meaning to live, so for that, he’s forever grateful. And that means, he loves you more than anything. Looks don’t matter as much to him as you’d think, so when he sees you going quiet and distancing he knows how to fix this.

He hadn’t seen you all day, except for breakfast, when you grabbed a piece of toast, kissed his head and said a quick “I love you.”

He knows you more than you think, so he understood why you were upset.

Which is why he begs one of the survivors who can actually cook well, to make your favorite dish. Basically making a care package for you and giving you a letter that decently tells you that you’re perfect the way you are and that he loves you.

With the care gift done he shyly makes his way to your room, avoiding other people knowing that he’s gone soft.

He gently knocks on your door, waiting for you to open. And when he’s greeted with your tired form he awkwardly hands it to you.

Mumbling, “I know you weren’t feeling well today. And since I’m no good with words I thought this would make up for my lack of them. If you’d like me to stay, and listen, or just be here with you, then just let me know.”

A small smile grows on your face and that causes him to let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding. He was so worried that you’d slam the door in his face or worse, hate it.

You open the door further to let him in, “do you think I could get some cuddles?”

This is what the note would say,

“Dear, ____

This took me hundreds of try’s but I think this is the one. I know what it’s like to be insecure, and even though that’s hard to admit, I’ll admit it for you. I love you, so much, and even though looks don’t matter to me, I find you to be absolutely lovely. Anyone who says differently is blind and doesn’t know what they’re missing out on. He’s still focused on whatever is growing above us, although I could've sworn we were just standing under pines. Ones that are common in his home, is there something I’m missing here? What is he focusing on so intently? Is there somethin- 

“You’re looking at the mistletoe? Does it really not exist in your hyrule… I guess that means the traditions doesn’t exist either then, does it?”

“Tradition?”

“So I’m right then? It doesn’t?”

Why does he seem a little ashamed by that, his ears have drooped and he doesn’t want to look at me. Is he that used to always knowing about plants or is it that he’s worried about having lost his memories about it. 

“to be fair wild, I'm not entirely sure it exists in hyrule anyway. might just be something from my world.”

“what kind of tradition is it, do you miss it at all?”

“hmm, well it's mostly just fun… depends on who you're with really. Want me to show you what it is?”

he's perking up a bit now, still a little down but that should change in a moment seeing as he's nodding.

Before he had a chance to respond, I already had a hand on his collar pulling him toward me. If he wants to learn about the mistletoe then what could possibly be better than experience. I’ve been wanting to kiss him for a while now too, so it’s a perfect excuse. His lips are so soft, incredible considering how he lives the shrine must’ve had some permanent effects after it all. Kissing him is awkward to say the least, the mixture of him being caught so off guard and the fact he’s frozen solid leads to a very quick attempt at a quick peck on the lips. 

Until it's over, and I've pulled away from him. It'd be a lie if I said I wasn't mildly disappointed by how little he reacted, maybe I was reading all the signs wrong and he simply didn't care for me like that. I should have given him more of a hint to what I was going to do, if he doesn't like me then it was simply cruel to force him to kiss me.

“I - sorry I didn't - I made you uncomfortable I should've told you what it was. I'm sorry link.”

“That’s the tradition then? Pressing your lips to someone elses?”

“Not quite - it’s to kiss whoever you’re standing under it with but I didn’t want to overwhelm you with...hu-!”

The disappointment must’ve shown on my face, or he just… did he just want to kiss me again? This time he’s the one taking the lead, holding my face so gently in his hands sliding his fingers slowly into my hair. The fact that he’s likely never kissed anyone makes it more clumsy, gently and softly he’s trying to find the best way to do it and I’m loving every second of it. Even despite it being the most uncertain kiss I’ve ever had… it’s taking my breath away simply how much care is going into it. Drawing a soft gasp from me too with how he’s biting faintly on my lips. 

Everything has to come to an end eventually though, as he pulls away with a smirk and the cutest blush I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I’ll have to devote a lot more of my time to flustering him from now on, there’s no possible way that I could go without seeing that at least once more in my life. I would rather the shadow simply kill me than be condemned to that fate.

You recently did a post asking if fragile reader would be shocked about the Dottore’s personality change, but imagine Dottore’s personality change specifically towards them. Like don’t get me wrong, Dottore 100% was still head over heels for reader during the akademiya, but I imagine that he was more on the tsundere side. Like Reader goes to sleep with the impression of tsundere Dottore and wakes up with this very affectionate Dottore who doesn’t hesitate to express his feelings. I feel like this 180 in how he expresses his love to them would be because he wants reader to really know how much he loves them, because with their fragile health, everyday could possibly be their last and he wants to make everyday count. Cause imagine if Dottore does end up being less expressive and readers last words to him are like “good night, I love you” and he’s all like “whatever” and then they never wake up and those are the last words he ever says to them.

Pretty sure it’s out of character for him but it’s a cute idea and yk being delulu is ok <3

Oh... don't do this to me right now. IT'S TOO SOFT AHHHH. But yeah omg Dottore in the Akademiya really did love you so much but he could be rather mean about it sometimes!! He scowls and rolls his eyes at your displays of affection, verbal and physical, crossing his arms and huffing as he lets you have your way (as his love language back then was letting you have your way with him 😭) When he finally shows some affection he's not the best with it but hey he's trying! And of course, you're not too bothered by it, you do understand what Zandik is like and you won't push him, you'll always wait for him to become more comfortable. But never in your wildest dreams did you think Zandik could become like this.

You're just mind-boggled when you wake up. What happened to your grouchy and snappy Zandik?? Now Dottore's so bold with his affection sometimes - he has no problem grabbing your chin and chuckling at your flustered expression, and then kissing you on the spot. He pulls you onto his lap out of nowhere as if it's a common thing to do, even in front of other people! He runs his hands over your body so affectionately too... at least the one thing that never changed was him biting you with those sharp teeth of his. You know, a couple hundred years ago, the roles would be drastically reversed! (You still do stuff like that now, but having the same treatment reciprocated takes a bit to get accustomed to... seeing how completely different he used to be.) He really has grown a lot, after all, he spent centuries sitting by your bed hoping you'd wake up to respond to his touches... hoping you'd see how much he's changed... hoping for you to say how much of a better lover he is. Naturally, he's still his Dottore self, and will rebuke you, will be mean to you at times, complain from time to time when you refuse to leave his side... and there are the other aspects of how he's changed, gone to the point of no redemption and the blood on his hands... but you've long accepted that. And you appreciate how much he's trying, even though he'll never say the reason for his change in behavior outright.

Though he still has trouble outright saying "I love you." I think no matter how much time passes the words still struggle to come out of his mouth and are only reserved for the most dire or special occasions. But that's okay, his actions are more than enough for you :3

Not to defend them or anything but sure they held alot of power but the Ministry still had more (though they did nothing with it the dumb fuckers).

My final point is… ship and love whatever ships and characters you want. Most people don’t give a shit, and those that do are just mindless adults who think they are better than everyone. (newsflash, fandom is always changing and evolving. Get over it). I think it’s wonderful to have so many ships and variation in our fandom, I love exploring all these rare pairs and reading about them.

Don’t let anyone say otherwise, your art, your writing, your love is yours and there are so many people out their that love it just the same as you. Do you think the Smoke and Shadow comic foreshadows Zuko and Mai as future rulers of the Fire Nation?  It showcases their strategy skills along with improving their communication as they strive to find a solution to save the children of the fire nation capital. Even though they are broken up, they work well together and shows their compatibility as rulers.  Thoughts? 

omg my first anon, hello and thank you for asking me this question !!

I talk a little bit about this in my video essay, actually. while I hate the comics and I think it’s stupid that they broke up, it does give them a chance to grow as people and into their positions in the world. the writer confirmed that they got back together 3 years later, meaning they’re young adults when they reunite, and they would have grown from their teenage selves.

in The Promise (2012) we already see their communication improving (well, Mai’s anyway) when she says that Zuko can come to her with any issues he has and he should be able to talk to her about his feelings because she’s his girlfriend. this already shows that he has someone he can rely on who is willing to listen to him, someone he’s known for a long time.

in Smoke and Shadow (2015), we see this communication improving. one thing that gene luen yang got right is that Zuko would absolutely be pinning over Mai, given how much that loser (affectionate) was obsessed with her.

although she is with Kei Lo at the time, Zuko expresses how much he misses her and that he wants her back, as well as acknowledging how happy she looks. he does this instead of repressing his feelings, and Mai talks about her point of view of the situation, being open and honest (despite it not being what Zuko wants to hear).

it is not only their communication improving that shows the potential they have at running a nation together, but also who they’re going after in Smoke and Shadow (2015). one criticism that people give Mai is that she doesn’t care about people, and in turn, the Fire Nation citizens. however, in this comic we see her and Zuko working together to take down a terrorist organisation. while part of it is to protect Zuko, she calls her own dad (who is leading The New Ozai Society) “insane” for his political beliefs.

not only that, but she sends him to prison in the end and says that he deserves to go.

this is after she helped free her little brother, Zuko’s little sister and gaggle of other Fire Nation toddlers (with Zuko) !!

so, yeah. while I hate the comics, I think they do show some potential of Zuko and Mai working well together as rulers of a nation (even though “Fire Lady” doesn’t seem like an active role in politics, but we can pretend or hope that changes with Mai).

But he didn’t have a mark..the man went over and picked up the baby showing sympathy to him but Mash stopped crying and started to laugh, smiling at the man. You witnessed all of it happening and thought, ‘Maybe the man can take care of him, he does need a little ball of sunshine in his life.’ You said to yourself, ‘Please take good care of him kind sir.’ You smiled warmly, but sometimes…you didn’t wish to leave your family this early…

How it started: Cam thought Alex was charming, levelheaded, and in total possession of himself. He looked up to that a little bit. Alex was also not as mean as he could’ve been during pledge week (Alex is a year older and was already well established when Cam arrived on campus). This admiration soured pretty quickly though when Cam started to realize the ways in which he felt he did not fit in, and he started to realize all the things Alex has in life that he does not including a big loving family, money, genuine relationships with his friends and fraternity brothers, and the big one, he is out as bi and has been since highschool and no one even teases him about it because he’s so comfortable with it that it’s old news, it’s boring. So Cams almost crush-like admiration turned to some insecurities and resentments he still deals with about Alex.

How it’s changed: Cam still hates Alex sometimes and feels that he doesn’t understand certain things and never will. But he also has a spot that’s been worn soft for Alex because Alex has been so genuine with him— loving and trustworthy and thoughtful and honest and all of that despite their previous disagreements. The fact that Cam now has this deep guilt about how he treated Zee at first makes his relationship with Alex worse, because Alex was right, as always. Part of him wishes Alex hadn’t seen him behave like that, didn’t know that about him.

How it started: Alex thought Cam was an odd recruit, not someone who struck him as a fraternity guy, but gave him the benefit of the doubt and was nice to him. He started to dislike him a little because he came off as judgmental sometimes, especially about drinking. He made fun of people when they weren’t in the room as well as when they were. He was like a heat-seeking missile when it came to zeroing in on someone’s weakness or insecurity and using it against them. Alex thought he was a bit of a bully. So he just kind of shrugged him off until the Zee problem. Which put them in direct opposition to each other and as we know caused a lot of friction that ended in physical altercations more than once. Which may have been part of the catalyst for the sexual tension between them.

How it’s changed: Once the sexual element was established, there was this constant exchange of vulnerability and power between them that was just irresistible to both of them. The more he finds out about Cam, the more Cam makes sense to him. It’s still so easy to get angry with him but also to just want to hug him and remind him he can knock it off now, he’s with people that love him. Cam’s relationship to Zee is a real point of contention for them still even though Alex doesn’t consider it his business anymore. It was at one time though.

How would these characters react to being stuck in a small room with each other? Cam and Carlo:

I think this one is most interesting if we assume they know each other to some extent because as strangers stuck in an elevator or something they’d just be like… hey. Yep this sucks huh hope they get us out soon.

But if they knew eachother? Carlo is not intimidated by Cameron in the least. This is a kid who was stuck out in a blue collar working environment (if you can call a criminal organization blue collar) from the time he was fourteen with grown men… many of whom, including the boss Keith, had a grudge against him. He had to navigate the whims of people like Erik Holstrom or Martin Olson. An overly sensitive college boy with a bit of a mean streak does not faze him. Cameron would privately think Carlo was hot and therefore maybe try to push a button or two to see how it goes, assuming he knows about Carlo’s past. “So are there any words I shouldn’t say around you? Sit, stay, come?” (Wink)

When being insensitive and antagonistic didn’t get him a fun reaction, Cam would fly his white flag and say something friendlier. “You’re not claustrophobic are you? Coz I’ll break that window up there if you want me to.”

Carlo is not above rewarding Cam for good behavior by being friendly back. If you don’t give Cam an inch so he can’t take a mile he’s fairly predictable to handle. Carlo would figure this out and be able to manipulate Cam pretty easily. Again, he’s used to much bigger fish than Cam.

okay so. i was going to answer your ask with the epic headcanons but i’m a little nervous about posting them to my blog so i’m sending them to you in this ask instead so i hope that’s okay, i’m also sorry if this list is short </3

i often see people depict odysseus as being shorter than everyone else in animatics and i love it so it’s officially canon to me

i feel like the only person that would be shorter than him is telemachus (at the end of the musical), but only by a couple inches, odysseus still never lets him live it down though

odysseus is definitely the type to try and deny that he’s ticklish if you asked him, and he’ll do it with a confident smile on his face too. but when he realizes you intend on calling his bluff then that’s when he starts getting nervous

he’s clever and sneaky so he’ll probably try to save himself by outsmarting you, and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t

if you plan on going after him though just be warned that he is very vengeful, there is a very high chance that he will get you back the minute he’s caught his breath

eurylochus isn’t typically one to start any of the shenanigans on the ship, he’s more content with watching and smiling fondly at it from the side a lot of the time, but if someone asks him to help wreck someone (usually polites or odysseus) or to get revenge on someone then he definitely will

but if he suspects that someone is gonna try and tickle him instead then this man will not hesitate to either throw out empty threats or just straight up run

polites likes to launch surprise tickle attacks on people a lot but he’ll shout “sneak attack!” before he does it, and whoever his target is usually lets him have his fun for just a moment before they Get him

will plead to whoever else is next to them to help him and then act all surprised and betrayed when they help his attacker instead

always lets out a loud, high pitched squeal when he’s caught off guard by an attack, everyone loves it and thinks it’s so funny

But OMG LITERAL SHORT KING! He may not be the tallest, but he’s so cunning & mischievous so he absolutely makes up for it. But he always pouts & glares when they tease him about his height. But he’s so happy to finally have someone shorter than him. Like HA! See, I don’t you I wasn’t that short!

Oh he ABSOLUTELY denies it til his dying breath, dude just will not admit he’s ticklish. Even when he’s writhing on the ground cackling his ass off. Eurylochus is just like “so, are you ticklish?” & he’s like “NOHOHO, YOU WIHISH” & he shrugs & just keeps going because “you’re not ticklish, so why should I bother stopping?”

But before they call his bluff & find out how ridiculously ticklish he is, he’s so adamant & smug about it. & like, he’s their captain, what are they gonna do? Tickle him? Only Polites was stupid brave enough to try when he noticed him feeling particularly grumpy & home sick

Eurylochus was just staring at Polites with wide eyes shaking his head because he was worried their captain might snap & yell at him & having one of them upset was bad enough. But he just grinned at him even more & put a finger to his lips as he snuck up behind him as he was steering the ship. He pounced on him suddenly, lightly scribbling his fingers over his sides & yelling “coochie coochie coo!” Odysseus legit shrieks & accidentally jerked the wheel to the side, making the crew stumble & fall & they’re all grumbling to themselves as Odysseus is blushing bright red. & Polites is laughing next to him, props his elbow on top of his head, sighs wistfully & says “I thought you weren’t ticklish Captain” all smiley & shit

Odysseus is just like “Eurylochus, take the wheel” & before his expression even changes, he’s tackled him to the ground. Polites is already giggling & screaming “NO WAIT I JUST WANTED TO SEE YOU SMILE! I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUNNY!” & Odysseus has his shit eating grin as he cocks his head & goes “oh yeah? Well then, this is about to be hilarious” & proceeds to wreck his shit

But after that everyone knows their captain is a lot more sensitive than he tried to let on

Odysseus honestly loves the chance for some playful roughhousing because it helps take his mind off other things. But yeah, he’s smart as hell & tricky & is able to pull one over on you if you’re not careful. Definitely one of the meaner tickle monsters on the ship

I’m literally dying at the idea of Polites announcing his sneak attacks, cause like, he doesn’t want it to startle them, & he finds that the very act of knowing what’s coming right before it happens makes it worse. (Totally doesn’t know from experience. Nope)

Eurylochus is the level headed moderator, he stays on the sidelines & steps in to help out whenever needs it most in the moment (usually Polites) but if the mood is right, the mischief starts to rub off on him & he can’t help but join in the fun. But more often than not he’s forced to for his own self preservation lmao

Everyone wants to wreck him because he’s always so calm & rational. They just wanna know what he looks like when he lets go a little!

Starting a tickle fight on the deck of the ship is literally the fastest way to make Eurylochus disappear. Odysseus notices because he wanted his help getting Polites before turning the tables & attacking him instead

Finally, my precious baby boy💗 literally the biggest fucking lee, way too cute for his own good. Everyone’s favorite to mess with

He’s so shy about the fact that he actually really likes the fun, playful affection & tries to act like it’s torture. Literally no one buys it

Also literally no one ever actually helps him when he’s getting wrecked. They all just add to the torture, but Polites was secretly hoping they would anyway (he could see the way they were smiling & staring, just BEGGING to join the fun & no way could he tell them no)

Ixvskegd he has such a loud, high pitched laugh it’s soooo damn cute & infectious! He shrieks & snorts a lot, & his laugh goes all over the place from shrill giggles to full belly laughs

On the opposite side of the scale from Odysseus the short king, we have Polites the beam pole. I feel like he’s so lanky & tall & lowkey kinda clumsy, he is a walking bullseye. Odysseus especially loves to ask him to grab stuff up high for him & then tickle his armpits when he reaches up. As previously stated, he falls for it every time

I swear, this musical has me in such a chokehold
