I would like to know about your take on Jimin and Jungkook's car conversation in AYS. Do you think there was a break up?

First let me answer the second part of your ask. And then I'll talk about their car conversation.

Do I think Jikook had a break up?

NO. NOT AT ALL.

I think you got this idea about a break up cause we didn't get to see Jikook interactions during the Solo Era prior to AYS. Now, them not interacting publicly does not mean they don't interact at all. I'm sure they did meet up and spent time with each other BUT behind closed doors, in the security of their apartments. However that time was NOT ENOUGH for them who used to spent 24×7 together. Together during work hours and later relaxing at home but again together, prior to Solo Era. So, whatever time they had to spent apart was not by their choice but it was forced upon them. They had demanding schedules which kept them apart. And whatever time they spent together we didn't get to know about that cause they didn't feel the need to report it to us. They're not obliged to do that. However I think they were together in Jungkook's apartment from that time when Jimin showed up at the airport with a scratch on his arm which looks like a scratch from a big dog (Jungkook posted a pic of Bam around this time too)

Also, we wouldn't have known about Jikook having a sleepover at Jungkook's house the night before AYS Jeju if Jimin didn't share it with us.

And what about all those times Jungkook started a live every time Jimin boarded a flight from Korea? Did they spent time together before Jimin had to get on those flights? I can take a guess.

And what about the times Jungkook did a Jimin centric live (his smile while watching Jimin in that video 😭 Thats a man in love), teasing Jimin's SMF Pt 2, his reaction to SMF Pt 2, watching only Jimin's Suchwita, vibing and singing along to Angel Pt 1.

Jungkook being excited and lighting up like a Christmas tree whenever Jimin comments in his live. Trying to lure Jimin into doing a live with him using boxing, beer and fried chicken. What about that half naked live and their flirting back and forth making us all third wheels.

That's not how a person who went through a break up behaves.

Now let's talk about Jimin. Jimin writing a Love Ode, "Letter" for Jungkook with Jungkook doing the background vocals. A song which conveys how he's grateful for that one person who held him through his dark times, the person who believed in him when even he didnt believe in his strengths and how he hopes and wishes his forever to be with that person.

And then we have Jimin flying to New York to support Jungkook during his Solo debut. Not only that but he made plans to spent quality time with Jungkook cause he knew Jungkook needed it, he needed it, their relationship needed it. All under the veil of a travel show.

They're giving away major hints towards what their relationship is. Many times with their actions and then also with their words.

Now maybe you'll ask me if AYS came about cause they were trying to get back together from their " break up ". My answer is NO. The show was a guise to spend time with each other. To make memories, to be carefree and simply be with each other. Cause the time they got to spend with each other before AYS was simply not enough for them.

This was why Jungkook said " You're here". Finally". He wanted Jimin to choose him, make time for him and their relationship. Cause he's only human and sometimes needs reassurances especially when more trying times (military service) was coming up.

Also, it was their first time in front of the cameras (there were so many) without the ot7 protection to provide them a cover. So, they were probably thinking what to show, what to say, how much they should say and how much they should show.

So, yeah I don't think there was a break up. Not during the Solo Era and not during the years before that.

Does that mean they never had arguments? Of course not. They surely had. But from what I have seen and heard they resolve it pretty quickly. Their verbal communication is solid. Jimin is good in expressing his feelings and we have seen how Jungkook gets chatty when it comes to Jimin. He speaks freely and openly with Jimin. Their non verbal communication is amazing (eye contact, body language and tone of voice). They're affectionate with each other. Openly show appreciation and give compliments. Should i even talk about how much they love each other??!! There's so much of it. Pure, unconditional love. The roots of their relationship are deeply secure.

All I see is two men who are in a long term relationship giving their all to make the best out of the available circumstances. I see how in love they're and how much they cherish their relationship.

Summary: You are finally able to join Yoongi on stage for his solo tour in Japan... Based partly on this request, but also part 2 of the Suchwita couple! There may be more parts to come to this, depending on how much you guys like this!

It had been a few months since the episode of Suchwita that got a little too personal. You and Yoongi had yet to have an official wedding ceremony for your family, but in all fairness, he had since started his first solo tour.

Yoongi had wanted you to join him from the start of his tour in the US, so that you could accompany him on stage for certain songs, but unfortunately that wasn’t possible.

You had schedules with your own group to fulfil, and when those were finally over you fell ill, so the earliest you were able to join Yoongi on stage was for his first show in Japan.

‘Now I’m very excited for this next song.’ Yoongi moved back to centre stage, sipping from his straw as he did so. ‘I have a special guest. Please welcome my beautiful wife, Y/N!’ He gestured to the back of the stage as you ran up the stairs. The crowd screamed loudly as you appeared, showering you with love and support. You jogged up to Yoongi and gave him a quick side hug, before taking your place at the second microphone.

‘Hello everyone!’ You greeted with a big wave. ‘Thank you for having me! I’m excited to be here!’

‘Y/N hasn’t been feeling well lately, so please show her lots of love.’ Yoongi announced, causing the crowd to gasp out and call your name.

‘Until she’s 100% better, she’s only going to perform one song. I hope that’s ok.’

Performing People pt.2 with Yoongi was a dream come true. Despite both being active idols for over a decade now, you’d never actually had the opportunity to perform together. You knew you had big shoes to fill by singing IU’s part, but the crowd seemed to be having a good time, and that’s all that mattered.  Yoongi was also being extremely protective, with only letting you perform one song. In truth you felt fine, just a bit of sickness here and there. But then again, maybe his worry wasn’t all unfounded...

When the last notes of the song rang out, the arena went wild. You once again hugged Yoongi, but also kissed him too, making the crowd go even crazier than before.

‘Ok that’s enough PDA.’ He spoke into the mic.

‘Thank you for having me tonight. I hope to see you again tomorrow!’ With that, you gave a bow and made your way off stage, so as not to hold up the show too much.

‘Y/N everybody!’

You’d met Yoongi in the car taking you back to the hotel, not wanting to be hanging round the arena for ages after the show. You knew what he was like sometimes.

‘Hey.’ You smiled and reached out for him as soon as he opened the door. He leaned in and kissed you with a smile.

‘Why didn’t you wait for me?’ He looked at you questioningly as the car pulled away.

‘Just eager to get back is all.’ Yoongi gave you a look, but just settled for taking your hand and pulling out his phone, so he could look up peoples thoughts about the show online.

‘This is just gonna be a quick live whilst we eat.’ Yoongi spoke to the camera as he arranged the food on plates for himself and you. He had taken to doing lives after his shows recently so he cold engage with his fans a little more, even if it was only whilst he ate.

‘Yes Y/N is still here. She’s just getting dressed.’ The chat started to move faster, really jumping on the implications of what he had just said. Yoongi was puzzled for a moment, before he started laughing, realising his mistake.

‘Please get your minds out of the gutter! She was in the shower.’

‘You’ve been live for two seconds and you’re already corrupting people.’ You joked, pushing open the bathroom door. You could hear him speaking through the wall as you freshened up.

‘It’s not my fault that’s how ARMY’s minds work!’

‘Bye guys, bye!’ You blew a kiss to the camera as Yoongi switched it off.

‘Ah, what a night.’ Yoongi stretched out as he tossed the garbage to the side.

‘I hope that’s a good sigh mister.’ You crawled over to your husband and straddled his lap on the small armchair.

‘Definitely.’ His hands came to rest on your bum, squeezing playfully.

‘Excuse you, that’s rude!’ You laughed. Leaning down and kissing him deeply. Yoongi moaned into the kiss and slid his hands under your shirt, squeezing your breasts. You broke away to lift your shirt over your head and quickly re connected your lips. He groaned as you rubbed against his growing bulge. Yoongi ran his hand across your body and round your back, about to unhook your bra, when suddenly there was a pounding at the door.

You quickly jumped away from him and ran into the bathroom to fix yourself, in case whoever was at the door needed to come inside. As you retreated, you heard Yoongi curse as he adjusted himself in his pants, before getting up to probably murder whoever was at the door.

A few minutes later, you re emerged from the bathroom fully dresses, just as Yoongi closed the main door.

‘Who was it?’

‘Just a staff member wanting to give me the schedule for tomorrow.’ He stalked back over to you and roughly grabbed you by the waist, causing you to gasp out and giggle. ‘Now where were we?’ He smirked against your skin.

You and Yoongi lay side by side, naked and tangled in the sheets. The room was dark around you, though neither of you were asleep. Just enjoying each others company.

Yoongi lay on his back, arm under your neck and fingers softly stroking your shoulder, as you lay on your side, hand resting on his chest.

You have to tell him. You thought to yourself. There’s no point waiting any longer and now’s a good a time as any.

‘Yoongi...’ Your voice was hoarse as you spoke, a reminder of your recent activities. ‘I need to tell you something.’ He just hummed in response. Taking a deep breath, you just blurted it out.

‘I’m pregnant.’ His fingers stilled on your shoulder. He was silent, almost as if he were processing your words, when he suddenly sat up, forcing you to do the same.

‘Are you serious.?’ He stared at you, mouth agape.

‘Of course I’m serious.’ You looked down, smiling as you pushed your hair behind your ears. ‘I know we didn’t really talk about it after Suchwita, but we haven’t really been careful, so maybe it was meant to be.’ Before you even finished speaking, his arms were flung round you and he was kissing the top of your head.

‘I can’t believe it! I’m gonna be a dad!’ He cried out, joyful tears already falling from his eyes.

‘And I’m gonna be a mom!’

‘Wait.’ He pulled back so he could see your face. ‘ does this have anything to do with you being sick recently?’ You laughed and gently wiped away his tears and playing with the ends of his hair.

‘Yes dummy. Morning sickness. I’m surprised you didn’t put two and two together.’ He smiled brightly and leaned in to kiss you. He suddenly pulled away and jumped out of bed, flicking the light on as he went.

You groaned out and covered your eyes at the sudden bright light. When you opened them, you were met with Yoongi pacing back and forth along the room, still with a wide smile plastered across his face.

‘What are you doing you doofus?’ You laughed at his antics.

‘I feel like I have a lot of energy to burn off suddenly!’ You threw your head back against the pillows and let out a hearty laugh.

‘Come back to bed, it’s like 2AM!’

‘You think I’m going to be able to sleep after getting the best news of my life!?’ He exclaimed, exasperated but still joined you back in bed none the less.

‘You need to be rested for the concert tomorrow.’ You snuggled back up to his side.

‘Will you still be able to perform with me tomorrow?’

‘I’m not made of glass Yoongi. I was pregnant when performing tonight you know.’ You chuckled lightly.

Just as you were about to fall asleep, you were jostled awake by Yoongi reaching for his phone and shooting off a quick text, before disregarding it back on the side table.

‘What was that?’ You asked sleepily.

‘I text the BTS group chat and told them you’re pregnant.’ He said nonchalantly.

Your eyes snapped open and you shot up with a start.

‘You told your members I’m pregnant through text!?’ You couldn’t believe what you were hearing right now.

‘It’s easier this way.’ You stared down at your husband in disbelief. This man was going to be the death of you....

One the side table, Yoongi’s phone was already vibrating none stop. Instead of answering, he just reached over and put it on silent, before dragging you back down to cuddle.

He causes chaos and then just ignores it, naturally.

"ahhh!" is the first thing you hear greeting you (albeit rather muffled) the second you open the door to reveal–"oh god, how much did he drink?"

soobin snorts, pushing the door open wider for you to step through, "don't ask me. all i know is he won't stop screaming until he sees you so for the rest of us, please."

you chuckle and nod, waving off the two youngest in the living room before you pad towards your destination. giving the door a knock, you hear a yell don't come in unless you're y/n! with a scoff, you twist the doorknob to push the door open. the sound itself is enough to grant yeonjun to kick in the direction of the door, despite being a good distance away from it since he's decided to plaster himself on the bed.

"hey... you're not y/n..." he pouts, furrowing his brows at you. 

closing the door behind you, you make your way towards him with a raised brow, "oh yeah? take a good, good look before you say something you regret," you sit next to him on the bed, patting his thigh which grants him to sit up immediately. "you don't get a free pass just because you're drunk."

he huffs at you, almost waving you off but then he squints his eyes at you to the best of his ability and the way the realisation hits him is as funny as it is adorable. "ah!" he exclaims, hands now glued to your cheeks as he lures your head towards him so he can get a good look despite the alcohol blurring his vision. you can smell the soju from his breath and let's just say, yeonjun isn't one to turn down drinks if he feels like a hundred and ten percent.

"there you are!" he grins, the signature cheshire-grin appears, his charm seeping from his pupils, "i've been looking everywhere for you!"

you laugh, using a hand to comb his hair back, "yeah?"

the pout forms on his lips, brows furrowing as he nods, "yeah..." the sleepiness in his veins taking over his system, voice getting softer, "i missed you..." his hands slip from your face, so he can curl himself towards you. his arms slither around your waist and before you know it, he's half-crawling so he can lay his head on your lap, burying his face down with his arms locked around your figure. amused, you welcome him with a hand on his back, the other stroking his head as he whines in delight, snuggling into you more.

"just how much did you drink?" you ask, fingers threading through his hair.

"dunno," he shrugs, refusing to move, eyes fluttering shut, "just want you here. want you to stay..."

it grows quiet, but the sudden surge of energy peaks when yeonjun snaps his head up to get a look at your face looking down at him with a raised brow.

"you are staying, right?"

you sigh and use the hand in his hair to nudge him back to lie down on your lap, "yes, jun. now, rest."

you feel the grin he presses to your thigh, his arms squeezing you as he nods, "mmkay." regardless whether yeonjun has had six or twelve glasses of soju in his system, nothing can numb the happiness that spreads in his system when he has you here with him.

Morning! Watching Jimin embrace and feel safe/protected/confident to live his truth over the past couple of years; but now seeing his military pics that come from other Soldiers, and his sad (subjective) face, do you think it will take long for him to decompress in June and find his light again? I wonder if this serving time doesn’t take a piece of their souls. SJ seems to be fine from outward appearances, but we may never know internal turmoil. Also (and sheesh this is a huge non sequitur, but I’m here, in the asking place LOL), in the Suchwita episodes, the members expressed how they couldn’t wait to be together in 2025, except RM. He was a bit vague and non-commital. Did you interpret it that way? Thoughts Thanks.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I think it's true that Jimin's face in the pic could be interpreted as sad, but not necessarily. We know Jimin has always been very responsible so he could be "in military mode" and decided to make a more serious face, it doesn't mean he feels sad.

But anyone would feel uncomfortable with constraints such as military. I don't think - any of the members - are really having a good time either.

I think Jimin like everything he does will do his maximum to fulfill his duties. But yeah it doesn't mean he must happy about it lol

The positive thing is that he is now with Jungkook, his anchor, so while he may not be having the time of his life he still has support with him that in my opinion will help him keep his sanity.

I think unlike Jin both Jimin&Jungkook will disappear for a while when they are discharged. Idk how long, but a while.

They need to get back to their lives, to their selves as they want to show it to the world, also to their relationship. It will be a lot.

But I think they both will bounce back, after some time-off when they return.

I can even imagine them doing another are you sure trip, possibly. Not right away, but some time after. I think they loved the first season so far.

As for Namjoon, since a long time, the running "gag" in my GC is "Can someone check on Namjoon?" God this man is not doing well. It started a long time before military.

I think he had a sort of identity crisis, a creativity crisis? You know how much Namjoon thinks A LOT.

I think Namjoon got burned out by BTS.

So maybe before military he really couldn't tell how this would go after they return.

Of course they will all be back together, because they said so, because they WANT TO WANT TO. But the truth is, for how long?

Military can surely change a person. Some of the members will go through it better than others. Maybe some will gain inspiration from it. When you are away from your craft for a long time, you tend to miss it, the spark might come back (that's what I hope for Namjoon)

But truth is they might get back together for a while but then maybe several of them will want to do other stuff, separately or simultaneously. No way to know for now.

I think the opinions they had before about reuniting, could certainly change with military.

They will do it - because they have a duty to us.

But maybe their hearts will want other things too.

(And that's also good?)

I hope people will be here to support their choices even if new.

Pre Release of Travel Show Thoughts

This might be a bit all over the place 🙈

Just some random thoughts after talking with my friends.

Remember when Hope on the Street came out and it was on Amazon Prime. I think many of us were thinking that was the end of the set shows, programs etc that were gonna appear on Disney+ from BTS.

We’ve had a number of shows from the group since Chapter 2

I kinda forgot about their Disney deal when the talks of Jikook’s travel show started to become real. My friends and I started guessing if it would be on Weverse only, like Jimin’s Production Diary or on YouTube like Suchwita & Jin’s The Drunken Truth. We were hoping and praying it wouldn’t just be one Bangtan Episode or on a South Korean nft platform like the HYYH series Begins ≠ Youth.

To be honest we hoped for a Jikook YouTube Channel (still dreaming for one🥲), where after service they could come back and carry on with more adventures and content, but we would have settled for Prime too.

I say all of this to say, how come it’s on Disney+ again after the switch up with the last HYBE show Hope on the Street being on Prime?

It makes me wonder about the start of the show’s planning. Like Jungkook said in Suchwita it was kinda spontaneous and following a years old conversation between Jimin & Jungkook. Them seizing the opportunity of the both of them being together in New York, after Jimin went to support Jungkook’s solo debut performance.

I wonder about if Jikook knew if their application for companion enlistment had been approved yet. Many have covered in detail the program and the kinda 1 in 100 chance of getting approved for it. BTS already have done many unique things and why should their military service be any different, all members aiming to at one point in time be serving at the same time and have all completed their service to not have to worry about it again?

Anyway back to the the point 😅. As all the members wanted to enlist and return as one unit in 2025 and with Jimin being in his last year of eligibility due to age criteria, if they hadn’t have been approved Jikook wouldn’t have been certain of being together for their 18 month military service.

It makes me wonder about their plans. If they wanted to create as many memories as they could in as many places as they could together just in case they weren’t going to be able to enlist together.

If they wanted to take the moments in between the end of FACE promotions, the little gap at the start of SEVEN promotions and the gap in between the rest of GOLDEN’s recordings, MUSE’ recording and also squeezing some more travel at the end of GOLDEN promotions, Jungkook’s Japan promotions and the Usher remix video Jungkook had to do straight after Japan.

It feels to me like Jikook knew that regardless of if they did enlist together, they wouldn’t have been able to travel as a duo for a long time as if we can take Jim as an example, the members will most likely be going straight into OT7 work mode once they complete their service in 2025.

It feels to me like if Jikook hadn’t have gotten their companion enlistment approved, the travelogue was a was to permanently keep record of the many memories they wanted to make.

That with everything on Jungkook’s plate it wouldn’t be feasible for one GCF Tokyo style video like before.

For starters their travels were on a much larger scale than their 2017 trip to Tokyo.

Not just one hotel in one destination, walking around the city, visiting some shops restaurants and Disney but multiple countries, multiple hotels, villas, camping, kayaking, yachting, skiing, indoor adventures, restaurants etc

They are way more globally recognisable than in 2017 where there were still some sightings but not as many as if it was 2023.

Jungkook and Jimin literally had to squeeze these moments in between hectic schedules tight time constraints.

It makes sense that they would utilise their company to help with areas to visit to help with descretion, with bookings, as they’d have to book out whole villas, hotel floors, activity locations etc. it makes sense that because they’d need security.

How would they coordinate everything in the midst of recordings, rehearsals and flying around the world for international promotions?

Their company and staff are still a company, whose main directive is to make money, beginning and end of it all.

I’m sure the company are nice enough to the members but how would such time, resources and expenses be written off if Jikook asked on the company to help them with security details, with flight planning, whole hotel floor booking, villa bookings, closing businesses down for the duration they wanted to visit or opening ski resorts up a day early etc.

We all know the members and joke about how they’ll wear expensive watches and clothes but still fight over a rice cooker as a prize or Jungkook take home hotel toiletries or ingredients from run cooking episodes etc

So for the company and staff to help Jikook make this a possibility in the time the had before enlistment how would it make sense financially? How would it benefit everyone? We know Jikook love sharing with army, Jungkook’s lives of 2023 show us, their predebut days of vlogging to now show us, Jungkook’s GCFT shows us. They share.

So a show, sure, Jikook are used to cameras, the members are able to retain their authenticity through they years since day one of being in front of a camera.

As for the video, I think it shows how close they are and how delighted they are by each other. I’m not sure why you don’t think JK being obsessed with Jimin and them showing up for each others lives doesn’t count? Or Hobi’s going away doesn’t count when Jkk talk about drinking a bunch of whiskey together the night before? How did Jk learn to play Jimin’s song on the guitar…? Jungkook talked about travelling with Jimin on Suchwita and was giddy. Do you not see it too? Maybe you don’t!

As for the not seeing each other during the first part of the year, Jk was very prolific on wlive (just about once every week or two) while Jimin was busy with Face. After JM was done with schedules, JK also became markedly less frequent on wlive. There were people predicting that JK would go live when JM left the country and then he would! It was uncanny. It happened several times in a row.

We have no idea why Jk didn’t go to JM’s shows, but I don’t think we can conclude it was because he didn’t care. He CLEARLY cared about Jimin and his music. Maybe he’s too distracting to Jimin. It truly could be anything, but do you REALLY believe it was because he didn’t GAF? He knew all the words to all of his songs and learned the guitar to play his song and watched every single video and feature JM put out. He cared.

As to the blogs struggling, they only struggled because they were used to being so well fed! Despite the company barely producing any BTS content during that time, there were still so many days when JK or JM (especially JK) would visit us and talk about the other or they’d interact with each other in some way on social media. It wasn’t everyday, but it was way more than any member of BTS talking about any other member of BTS. It was also addicting, if you’re into that kind of content. That’s what the struggle was.

Finally, as for how much any of them saw each other… well besides JK’s conspicuous sudden absence from streaming when JM was not busy, they did film a travel show together. That was quite a few days of being together that we’ll get to see some of soon. They also applied to be in the military together, which is a pretty involved application process. We can’t know for sure, but they probably saw each other quite a bit during that. But also Jimin started boxing again when he was done with Face schedules. Towards the end of the year, he’d come around with bruised up knuckles. Maybe that wasn’t with JK, but it seems like those two DO have a history of working out together a lot so maybe he was! Neither of them tell us when they are hanging out (unlike how open they are when it’s other members), but we do find out in lots of ways that they do hang out outside of BTS activities. I am happy to tell you why JKks know they hang out a LOT even if they never explicitly say it.

And I mean right now, at great personal cost to each, they are sleeping in the same room every night and bringing comfort to the other, non-stop for 18 months. There is that.

Anyway, I have looked at the tumblr you recommended, but it’s not convincing to me. Because I watch all the original content, I can see how the interactions are cherry picked and not nearly enough to be convincing, especially given the original context of whatever moment. You’re my favorite TKk blogger, so I wanted to know if there was anything that was super convincing to you. i came across your question about how yoongi-biased armys cope with him taking see you in 2025 literally and 1) it made me laugh and 2) it’s just very yoongi and since he’s been my bias since 2015, i kinda expected that he’ll most likely not post anything during his enlistment and just keep to himself. i support him in this decision 100% bc i, of course, want him to be comfortable with whatever he shares with us at the end of the day. i miss him but there’s always suchwita to rewatch (i’ve rewatched the one with hoshi and el capitxn the most lol) + other contents prerecorded before he enlisted. i just hope he’s fine <33

I don't think it's a surprise to anyone in the fandom that Yoongi hasn't shown any signs of life for so long; that's just Yoongi being Yoongi, and we can't be surprised. But at the same time, we're sometimes a bit selfish 😅 and like to hear from them. Getting a notification that they've posted something on one of the platforms they use feels good🥺.

Personally, I thought he wouldn't be absent from social media so much because his version of military service is a bit more lenient? I think that's the right word to describe it, compared to the other members. But it's entirely understandable that he doesn't want to post anything. We know that last year he was perhaps the most vocal member about coming back in 2025 as a group, so he must be just as eager as us for it to be 2025 already.

Crazy crazy night.

As per usual, nothing new, shouldn’t be upset or surprised about it, everything goes down when I’m sleeping.

I managed to watch Suchwita, and off to bed I went.

Dreaming, hoping, beyond hope, that JK will come to us live.

And then it all unfolded.

And I missed it. 😭😭😭

So, I wake up, see it, vent to you guys, try to save my beautifully worded venting, and effing Tumblr just poofed it all away.

I’m so friggin frustrated.

So, here I am now, trying to re-write, not very successfully (so if this post sucks blame Tumblr), my thoughts for this morning.

A little while later JK replied.

Kind of makes you wonder who JM was missing, seeing he just spent time with army at his pre-recordings. Same goes with JK. Who you miss JK?

And then JK came live.

And he did a whole JM centered live.

A whole “this one is going to be about JM” friggin live.

He watched JM’s songs.

He watched JM centred videos.

He listened to love songs.

God, I do have my work cut out for me.

But before I’m off back to work (I’m sitting here re-writing my post in between calls and meetings instead of working for a living), I do want to mention one wittle point.

Also, the whole album JM doing without the members, it’s his solo album after all. And for this gift of his to army, something that’s supposed to be so personal/intimate (the song is so intimate), and he has JK join him? For background voice which he did oh so well ¾ of the way through the song?

And then we have JK.

The man that came to us the morning before. Guitar ready. All to give us that spoiler to the song he sang with JM. The song that he didn’t play the guitar for, but learnt it to be able to play it for us.

SUCHWITA - Yoongi & Grace

Bora Note: SUPRISE! I thought this was going to take a few days but it came out easier than I thought. I hope you all enjoy

As a gift to ARMY who had promised to wait for him to come back from his military career, Yoongi had scheduled a surprise episode of Suchwita to be aired the day after his enlistment. Teasers were posted just as the news came that he had entered the military, causing ARMY and the world to take to social media to shout out their excitement. Finally, Grace Chu was going to be a guest. 

“So,” Yoongi started with a clap. “This was filmed just before I go into the military and I want to give you all a little gift to say I won’t be long and that I’ll be thinking of you. And what better way to do all that than by giving you the episode you’ve waited the longest for. Are you ready?” he asked, turning to each camera. 

“Okay, my guest today is BigHit’s first female trainee, BigHit’s ace, Seokjin-hyung’s world, Namjoon’s trainer, J-Hope’s sunshine, Jimin’s comforter, Taehyung’s translator, Jungkook’s mother and my support. She’s known as Korea’s Noona, ARMY’s queen and England’s rose,” Yoongi read off his iPad, echoing the words of Seokjin all those months ago. “Please give a big welcome to my sister, Gigi.”

The video that played for ARMY was a selection of video clips from the early days of their career to the most recent, each clip with a different member to reflect Yoongi’s words and ending with Grace on stage on her own with ARMY in the background.

“You always say such lovely things,” Grace smiled as she made her way towards the small table as Yoongi stood up, arms open wide with the crew loudly clapping in the background. “You’re also very cuddly these days.”

“I’m allowed to be. I’m going into the military,” he answered as he gave her a quick tight hug then released her. “Now I know you don’t do alcohol so I’ve organised some hot chocolate. But you promised me you’d do a shot of soju so I’ve got the citrus flavour for us.”

“Ah is that the new flavour?” Grace asked, picking up the bottle with an orange top. “Fitting then for the two of us.” She accepted the shot glass with a smile and clinked it against Yoongi’s, swallowing the shot in one go. “You know, not that bad.”

A large white mug with hot chocolate was placed in front of her and Yoongi, as well as finger snacks such as nachos and the like. 

“So,” Yoongi started as he wrapped his hands around the hot mug. “I’ve been told not to talk about your solo career, well I’ve been warned. But I want to ask, for ARMY’s sake, stuff is coming right?”

“Stuff is coming. Everything is planned and ready, sort of, but it’s coming.”

Yoongi stared at her and she grinned, shrugging. “That’s all you’re getting.”

“Gigi,” he almost whined. “You need to give more than that.”

“Nope. All will be revealed in time, you just have to wait.”

She nearly pointed out that he looked like that grumpy cat that was a meme a few years ago but she said nothing, distracting herself by scooping up some nachos and putting them in her mouth. 

“Fine,” Yoongi finally said. “I did kind of have a plan in my head of what I was going to ask you that wasn’t related to your career or anything like that. And I want to start by saying thank you.”

She must have looked completely puzzled so Yoongi quickly clarified.

“Thank you for always being there for me and the guys. If it weren’t for you, I don’t think we would have succeeded. You made sure we went to bed, made sure we were fed and clothed, and looked after us when we were ill. If it wasn’t for that support, I don’t think any of us would be here today. Especially Jungkook.”

“Jungkook was too young,” Grace shrugged. “He was only fifteen when he joined BigHit. In fact, everyone was under 20 when they joined BigHit and I had been there before Namjoon about a year beforehand or whatever it was. I was only nineteen when I first joined. So I felt like I had to step up and be the guide for Namjoon at least and then it just carried on for the rest of you. And then it turned into being the nanny.”

“Mother,” Yoongi corrected with one of his grins. 

“This Mother thing,” Grace laughed and watched as Yoongi poured himself a shot of soju and then another for her, just in case. “This whole thing started on Twitter or whatever. Even Jungkook never referred to me as mother until he saw it.”

“Wasn’t that the time we saw the MILF tweet?”

“Oh god that tweet,” Grace groaned and buried her hands in her face as Yoongi all but cackled. He turned his body slightly, facing more the camera than her.

“So that story, we might as well tell these stories. It was after a performance, I can’t remember which one, but all the tweets we saw were really complimentary and praised us for a job well done. I think it was Jimin, who saw the comment first and took a screenshot, sent it to the group chat. And it was something along the lines of, ‘Grace looks amazing. She looks like a proper MILF.’”

Grace quickly butted in, pointing a finger at Yoongi. “And none of you guys were quick enough to try and shield them or me from any of that.”

Yoongi shrugged, downing the shot of alcohol. “Namjoon was the one to explain it. And ARMY took it from there.”

“I couldn’t look at any of you during that week. It was just awkward,” Grace sighed and emptied her own glass of alcohol down her throat to Yoongi’s surprise. “If we’re going to tell these stories, then I need to get somewhat tipsy.”

The rapper paused and sat back in his chair, staring up at the ceiling for a moment then towards Grace. “The news about your relationship with Seokjin-hyung is out,” he started and laughed when Grace choked on the food she had just put in her mouth. “What? We might as well discuss it.”

“Aish, are we really going there?”

“Yes, ARMY needs to know.”

“You know, Seokjin was commenting on my LIVE after the news was announced and he said there was an R-rated version,” Grace explained as she scooped some salsa onto her nacho. “And since then, that’s all they ever asked about.”

“Well, we know about PG-rating version so what’s the R-rated version?.”

“Are you really going to ask me? Are you even allowed to upload this once this has been discussed?”

Yoongi shrugged, shoving a piece of food into his mouth. “Who cares? I’m going into the military soon.”

Grace lifted her head to stare at the younger man and the subtitles read on the screen, ‘She’s wondering whether to kill him or not.’

“Fine, might as well get it over with.”

She paused and laughed when Yoongi all but perked up, resting his elbows on the table with his chin in his hands as if he were a little child waiting to hear a bedtime story. This was a story very few got to hear and it had never been fully discussed by anyone, including the boys.

“So, Seokjin & I had a discussion around WINGS or just before. I knew I had started to like him more than a member of the group and he had figured out the same, but we had discussed that it was best we didn’t do anything to jeopardise the band, the comeback, the career, etc.” Grace started, folding her arms underneath her chest. She didn’t realise Yoongi, the crew, and even the audience were on tenterhooks waiting for the big reveal. 

“Nothing was done. And nothing was ever said after that. It was just the end. We weren’t going to do anything. However,” Grace stopped and bit her lower lip, wondering if she should go any further. But then Seokjin had left her in this mess so he could clean it up when he got back. 

“However,” Grace repeated with a laugh. “We were the only ones in the dorm. I don’t know where you all were but we were the only two left behind. And we had the conversation again, you know we can’t do anything.”

“But something ended up happening,” Yoongi summarised. 

“On the couch. Twice.”

It fell out of Grace’s mouth unprompted, causing Yoongi to pause as he lifted his glass of soju. “On the couch,” he repeated as if he didn’t get what Grace was telling him. You could see the cogs working and turning until finally something clicked.

“On the couch,” he all but yelled.

Grace nodded and buried her face into her hands, hiding from everything as Yoongi stood, open mouth and a dazed look on his face.

“You and Jin-hyung, on the dorms couch.”

“It was meant to be a one-off to get it out of our system, kind of.”

“But obviously it didn’t work.”

Yoongi sat back down as Grace peeked out from around her fingers.

“You know, I always suspected something happened but not like that. Not you two. Not the father and the mother of the group. We always thought of you two as the stone-cold people who did nothing wrong and yet.”

“Well,” Grace started and stopped when she realised she couldn’t explain it. “It happened and here we are so that’s the truth about the relationship. That’s the R-rated version. The PG version was the one we told the boys which was something along the lines of ‘we like each other, it won’t affect the group and we promise to be careful.’”

“Careful in more ways than one it seemed,” Yoongi stopped and poured another glass of soju. “That took a turn.”

“You wanted to know.”

“But I wasn’t expecting that,” Yoongi laughed and drank the soju. “What’s Jungkook going to think about his adopted parents? He’s going to be horrified.”

“Horrified? He’s been singing about fucking people in his songs lately, I don’t think he would be that horrified.”

“He’ll be horrified because it’s you. His noona. That kid absolutely adores you and would do anything for you, you know that.”

Grace smiled and nodded. “I know he would. You all would.”

“I want to talk about that - you and Jungkook because I don’t think many people realise what you do for him. Well, what you’ve done for all of us really. Because you’ve been there for everyone’s shit, especially mine.”

She finished off her hot chocolate and set the mug back down, leaning back in the chair. “Is this going to get emotional?”

“I don’t do emotional.”

“Says the man who broke down on stage.”

“That,” Yoongi pointed with his chopsticks. “That’s the stuff I want to talk about.”

“So,” Yoongi set the chopsticks down on the table and turned to the camera once again. “Obviously I broke down crying on stage on the last day of the tour. Everything just came tumbling out and I knew, if I couldn’t get the words out, Gigi would be there as backup for me. Adora as well but this woman here, left the audience and ran backstage to get ready to be my backup. And you’ve done that before for me, you’ve done that for everyone.”

“With Jungkook, you became his mother and I don’t mean that in the literal sense but you did. You saw a young man, with his big doe eyes and you protected him. You got him through the worst parts of his life and stood there with him, with all of us, without any judgement. He’s got his kindness and his sense of worth from you because you made sure to teach him that no matter what happens in life, as long as you know how important you are to yourself then nothing matters. And I took that to heart as well, dealing with my own trauma. I was angry with the world, angry at everything. I was putting everything I had into BTS, into AgustD, into Suga. And you said to me but what about Yoongi? What does Yoongi get? And I had to sit back and think about what do I want for myself?”

“Only because you had gone through so much in the beginning before we had even debuted. Like your shoulder, your mental health, and your relationships. The fact you were looked down on by the underground scene because you were now an idol rather than a rapper. And I remember when I heard The Last, how you spilled it all. I remember sitting there, feeling proud because you were breaking down these barriers slowly and on your own terms,” Grace interrupted. “Because I’ve always felt that no one should tell you who you are. I’ve come to realise that. It’s nice to be known as Korea’s Noona but who am I? At the end of the day when I get home to my cat and I sit down on the couch, turn on the tv - who am I? Because at the end of the day, I need to believe in myself.”

Yoongi sat there and took a good look at the woman in front of him. There had been many times when he knew Grace struggled with her identity. She was never meant to last more than two albums but Hitman Bang took the risk and extended her contract and then she became the greatest idol there was but she never felt right. There was always something missing. And he knew she had started to work on that and work on her identity, finally finding something for her to stand in and claim as her own. 

Her solo career was going to do all that for her. 

“And I tried to do that with Jungkook since he was so young and he was going to be easily moulded by what he saw, who told him what. And I wanted to treat him like Jungkook, not JK. He needed to be treated like a fifteen year old. Not an idol. So if that meant he needed a bedtime or he needed someone to make sure he had his uniform for the day, then that’s what it was going to take. Same for Tae and Jimin, they needed that. It was a structure that needed to be placed at home, in the dorm. And if I was seen as the mother then that’s what it was going to take,” Grace finished.

“You were the mother who looked after the boy's needs, Seokjin-hyung was the father in a way he controlled and scolded and cooked and woke us all up,” Yoongi started ticking off his fingers but he was interrupted by Grace again.

“You are also the father, technically. Because you do what Seokjin does but in a different way. You’re the protector and the fixer as well."

“Well yes, I do all that. So Hobi is next, he’s the first child then?”

“Hobi’s the first son,” Grace started then suddenly laughed, almost leaning backwards. “Oh, this is going to be turned into a meme.”

“What? You, me and Jin-hyung as the parents and the rest are the kids?”

Grace nodded, still laughing.

“Sounds like some weird threesome parenting,” Yoongi laughed as well, showing off his gums as he clapped with his laughter. 

“So Hobi is the first child. He’s the cleaner as well, technically. Namjoon is the second son who is the voice of reason. Jimin is third and is the kid who is just parenting gone right. Taehyung is the middle between Jimin and Jungkook, nice but a bit naughty. And Jungkook is the baby.”

“Jungkook is the baby,” Yoongi agreed. “But also a little shit.”

“He is that. But then I can say the same thing about all of you.”

“But you and me are too alike,” Yoongi pointed out with another glass of soju.

“We are. What are we called, two cats in a pod?”

“Ironic since you’ve now got a cat.”

“Min-ji,” Grace grinned as a picture of said cat was shown up on the screen.

“Did you name him after me and Jin-hyung?”

“No, though it seems like it. I was googling Korean names and that one just happened to catch my eye and the meaning fits him well.”

“But back to you and me,” Yoongi started then laughed. “I watch YouTube videos sometimes of the relationships between the members and you and I had to stop watching ours because it was hilarious. We are two cats in a pod. We are very much alike.”

“It’s more the mannerisms than anything,” Grace agreed as she took the plate of food from him. “And me and Namjoon are kind of like that,” she added. “You, me and him have known each other the longest.”

“Well, you trained him for a year and then me and Hoseok came along so it became a natural quartet though you lived with your parents, right?”

“I did until I got told by Bang PD that I needed to move into the dorm down the corridor when they had assembled the group. He didn’t want me mixing.”

“He treats you like a daughter though. You are the favourite, even Namjoon says so.”

Grace smiled and shrugged, giving nothing but everything away. 

They talked for another hour or more, reminiscing about the past and the future. How they were all waiting to come back together in 2025 when they could be a group again even though Grace knew she would have to finish off her solo tour first. 

“There’s one thing I do want to ask though, before we finish.” Yoongi said, pouring the last of the soju into the glasses. 

Grace nodded her head as if to say go on, holding up her glass of soju like Yoongi was doing.

“When are you going to make us uncles?”

Her immediate reaction was to sigh loudly and stare at the man in front of her.

“I’m joking. I promise. But I do want to say though, I’m proud of you. And I know what’s to come is going to be amazing and ARMY is going to go mental when they see what’s coming. And even though I can’t be there, I’ll be watching and I’ll be there if I can.”

ARMY would later say Grace’s smile in return to Yoongi’s words lit up the whole room.

“And I’m proud of you. And I hope you stay safe, don’t get hurt, make sure you look after your shoulder and you come back to us in 2025 because we’ve got a lot of work to do.”

They clinked their glasses together and downed the shot, putting the empty shot glasses back onto the table. The moment was broken by Yoongi clapping his hands once.

“ARMY, I hope you’re happy now. Gigi is going to take great care of you and I hope you look after her and support her all the way. I won’t be long and I’ll come back to you all when I can.”

The last Suchwita episode ended with the two hugging, Grace’s face buried into Yoongi’s shoulder as he held on tight. Almost as if she didn’t want to let him go just yet but had to. 

However, ARMY was left with one more surprise. 

It was a black screen with the words ‘She’s coming. May 14 2024.’

The fact that j-hope had close to 100k queues for his concert at EVERY stop and the speed in which it sold out truly shows you how in demand they are as soloists or as a group and it pisses me off so much that BH/HYBE, despite having seen the demand for D-DAY, didn't plan in advance for larger venues.

I know people said that Hoseok being released meant that it was too short notice to book stadiums but I call bullshit. Hoseok was planning to tour BEFORE he even enlisted, going back and rewatching that Suchwita episode and it was clear as day that Yoongi and him were clearly teasing the hell out of what was going to happen once he was out, that company had ample time to prepare and proceeded to simply not take advantage of his star power and limited him, thus fucking over so many fans.

Like people should be way more angry about it honestly. There really is no excuse why they didn't book bigger venues OR plan for more shows in various countries where there is high demand. BTS coming back in the middle of this year shouldn't affect him since they won't even be touring or doing any major events IMMEDIATELY after being released, we know this already. No one expects BTS to come back in full until 2026, so aside from FESTA and some 10-year anniversary shit related to HYYH, there's really no reason why he can't continue to tour later this year too.

The reason MS scares them the most is because they know its a big life decision Jikook made together and what it signifies for them. They know Jikook chose to be together for 18 months (and according to some reports coming out the last day or so) its a 24 hour, 7 days a week, no vacation program. Which means if this is true, Jikook will be together 24 hours a day for 18 months straight. Living together and they will spend christmas, bdays and all holidays together for 18 months. Next to engagement and marriage, this would be considered a major commitment to each other and that scares them. Its a commitment they made to each other to be together, even knowing the risks of safety, risking their relationship, the toll it might take on their relationship being together without a break from each other and that they could grow tired of each other. They knew the risks, but they still applied for anyways because they didn't want to be without each other for 18 months. They still went through the process in hopes they would get to be together and they succeeded. It wasn't a last minute decision. It was months of planning, but in Jikook's case, something they probably been planning since they entered a committed a relationship years ago and fell in love. The application process started in August, which means right after their NY/CT trip they started. So yeah, Jikook been planning this together for a very long time, but more so this past year. Which makes Letter and those Jimin centric lives JK did and that bed live between Jikook and these alone trips Jikook been taking, hit them harder in the face. Cause they know now the whole time behind the scenes, Jikook were actually making future life plans together and wasn't just for fanservice or for fun.

Yeah that one Jimin centered live JK did for nearly 2 hours The one where he watched Suchwita & all those Jimin copilations including Jikook moments. Blushing, giggling, kicking his feet, watching Jimin video after Jimin video. Yeah that JK doing that in your faces, was also behind the scenes working out plans to be Jimin through the hardest time of his life. Now go back and watch his little face watching Jimin. The love in his eyes seeing Jimin on screen. WOW, just wow. I'm in awe of Jikook's love.

They could explain all Jikook's actions away as company content or fanservice. They can't with MS and that is what is killing them. They have no excuse for why Tae didn't sign up to be with Jk and why Jikook are doing it. Some are trying, but alot of tkk and Vmin supporters are staying quiet right now cause they know what this means not just for their ships, but also for Jikook. And the rest of the fandom does too. They all know something this is big and doesn't really scream just platonic friends and everyone knows it. Esp given Jikook's non platonic and sus history together.

I'm just amazed that they still think in 2023 at their big age, two members of the same band are potentially dating the same man- at their big age. Even though every sign point to the fact it's none other than Jikook that are dating each other. Baffling.

At this point I want to ask them why they genuinely think those two are even remotely dating, how and why.

A.N. So I hope you don't mind but I'm using the Suchwita couple for this request since its fits with theor story line! So this would be part 3 of that series. (Link to part 1!) Plus I know nothing about pregnancy, just the basics so take it with a pinch of salt!

You and Yoongi, along with BigHit all decided that it would be best to keep your pregnancy private from the public, at least until you really started showing.

You wanted to keep working for as long as possible and Yoongi agreed. He knew you would be miserable and depressed just sitting at home alone, so he was supportive of you continuing to work, as long as you didn’t do anything too strenuous or stressful. You were currently 6, almost 7 months pregnant and you were definitely showing. Your team had taken to dressing you in exclusively baggy and oversized outfits, even having you sit down on stage and blaming it on illness.

You knew you would have to go on hiatus soon and Yoongi would also do so at the same time. You had to admit, you were excited. You and Yoongi barely had time off together, so suddenly getting to spend a few months together, then meet your baby at the end of it? It sounded like heaven on Earth.

‘Are you finished for the night?’ Yoongi spoke down the phone.

‘Yeah.’ You sighed. ‘Finally. Pre-recordings are always so boring.’ Yoongi chuckled. He knew you had always struggle with the boring stuff that came with being an idol, mainly the hours of waiting and doing nothing, especially now that you were pregnant, sitting around for hours were pure torture.

‘Y/N! Are you coming?’ Your group leader, Yuna, called over to you. You were all pretty tired after being at the studio all day, so you wasted little time changing into loungewear before you leave.

‘I’m coming! Yoon I have to go. I’ll see you in a couple days?’

‘Yeah I should go too. I love you.’

‘Love you too! Bye babe!’

‘How are you doing Y/N?’ The youngest in the group, Mallory, asked. You smiled at her as she placed her hand on your stomach.

‘Nothing I can’t handle.’ You chuckled.

‘YAH! Hurry up you two! We want to leave!’ chi, the fourth and final member of your group yelled out impatiently.

‘OK, ok! We’re coming!’

The four of you were waiting at the V.O.P exit, when your manager walked back in with a perplexed look on his face.

‘What’s wrong?’ Yuna stepped forwards.

‘It’s not good. There are a lot of fans and reporters out there.’ He sighed, shaking his head in disappointment.

‘Do they have nothing better to do? It’s like 1AM..’ Chi scoffed in frustration. Mallory nudged her shoulder and caste her a look.

‘So what do we do?’

‘We don’t have a choice but to push through. Y/N, will you be alright?’ Everyone turned to you, now realising you had been quiet the whole time. You bought your hands to your stomach protectively.

‘Well... We don’t have a choice...’ You trailed off, unconvinced by the situation.

‘The security will keep you safe Y/N, don’t worry!’ Mallory put her arm round your shoulders in an attempt to comfort you, though it did nothing to soothe your nerves.

‘Ok. Keep moving and don’t stop. The car isn’t far. Let’s go!’

You and the girls held onto each other as you pushed through the screaming crowd. You thought fans  had gotten better in recent years, as in the fact that they didn’t crowd round idols like this anymore.... Seems like you were wrong...

There was no barrier, so the crowd was basically rubbing up against you all and your lowly security guard was no match for the immense crowd.

You were almost to the car when you suddenly felt someone tightly grab your arm and forcefully yank you towards them. The shock of being grabbed and the force in which they did it, caught you completely off guard. Time felt like it was moving in slow motion as you felt yourself falling to the ground with a loud SMACK!

‘Y/N!’ You heard your group mates calling out for you, and you could only watch in horror as they all got whisked away by your manager.

The people around you started to crowd you even more, and started to roughly grab at you whilst you were on the ground. You’re sure they didn’t mean to, but you suddenly felt something hard hit into your stomach, causing you to let out a strangled gasp.

Your curled up into a ball in an attempt to protect yourself, but it was getting to be too much. You couldn’t breathe and you were in a lot of pain. You just wanted to see Yoongi.

You heard someone yelling out and shouting your name, before you completely blacked out.

You woke with a start, panicking when you didn’t immediately recognise your surroundings, but soon realised you were in a hospital bed.

You groaned in pain when you tried to sit up, so you stayed down. It was only then that you felt someone sitting at your bed side.

‘Yoongi...’ You whispered, voice hoarse. His head was laid out on his arms on the edge of your bed. His hair was a mess and you could tell he’d haphazardly thrown on whatever clothes were closest to him. You stretched your arm out and rested your hand on his head, gently stroking across his hair.

Yoongi stirred at your touch and his eyes parted slightly, before falling again. You couldn’t help but chuckle lightly at his tired state. it was when he hear your quiet laughter that his eyes shot open and he sprung up when he realised you were awake.

‘Y/N! Oh my god!’ He reached forwards and took your face in his hands, only to begin peppering kisses all over your face.

You clung to his arms as he hovered over you..

‘Yoongi...’ You whimpered, suddenly feeling emotional. He pulled back and stroked your forehead. You frowned up at him as you began to feel claustrophobic laying down on your back, so with a groan you once again tried to pull yourself up. Yoongi jumped in to help when he saw you wince in pain.

‘Easy! You’ve been out for a few hours.’ He fluffed your pillows up behind you, before sitting back down and dragging his chair closer to the bed.

‘Yuna and the girls stayed for a while, but your manager took them home to get rest.’ Yoongi explained to you whilst reaching for your hand.

‘God I feel rough right now...’ You groaned out as you grabbed at your head.

‘There’s something else too...’ Yoongi trailed off. You looked up and saw that he had a solemn look on his face.

‘What is it? Please tell me the other girls didn’t get hurt!’

‘No they are all fine.’ You sighed in relief. ‘When I got here, the doctors told me that you were bleeding...’ You stared at him for a second, mulling over his words, when you felt your blood run cold.

‘What do you mean bleeding!?’ You stuttered out, already feeling the beginnings of a panic attack coming on. Yoongi immediately picked up on your change of state, and once again stood and enveloped you in a hug.

‘Yoongi- our baby-‘

‘Easy, easy. The baby’s fine!.’  He gently stroked your hair as you tried to control your breathing.

‘You were bleeding but they stopped it. The doctor wanted to speak to both of us when you woke up.’ Yoongi explained gently and pressed a kiss to the top of your head, whilst you cradled your swollen stomach.

‘Go get them.’

Not 10 minutes later, the doctor was stood at the end of your bed, while you held Yoongi’s hand in a vice like grip.

‘how are you feeling Mrs. Min?’

‘Awful. Yoongi said you wanted to speak to us?’ You wanted to get right to the point and get the hell ou of there.

‘Well... I’m sure Yoongi told you about the bleeding?’ You both nodded.

‘Well we checked you over and the baby is fine... However because of the blow you took the baby i under a lot of stress, so we’re concerned that you could become high risk.’ You face fell at the doctors words and you squeezed his had even tighter, as if that were possible.

‘So... What does that mean?’ You timidly asked.

‘I’m strongly suggesting you go on maternity immediately, and stay on bed rest for the remainder of your pregnancy.’ Your face fell. This was exactly what you were trying to avoid. You heard Yoongi quietly thank the doctor as they left the room. The click of the door was all it took for you to burst into tears.

‘Jagi, please don’t cry. You’re ok.’ Yoongi soothed.

‘I know I’m being stupid, but I feel so awful right now.’ You sobbed out. Your maternity date was coming up soon anyway, but you thought you would at least be able to go on your own terms..

Yoongi was trying his best to comfort you, but it was all falling on deaf ears.

Without warning, you shoved Yoongi away and swung your legs over the side of the bed, only stopping when a sharp pain shot across your abdomen.

‘Ah!’

‘Hey stop! What are you doing?’ He scrambled to stop you, not wanting you to hurt yourself even more.

‘Did you drive here?’ You snapped harshly.

‘Y-yeah but-‘

‘Then take me home. I’m not staying here a second longer.’ Yoongi was taken aback by your sudden harsh tone, but scarpered away to find you a wheelchair. He knew he shouldn’t take you snapping at him to heart, you were just upset and scared and probably in pain.

You hated feeling useless and you were stubborn too, so Yoongi knew that keeping you in bed for the next 2 months was going to be a real chore... But he would be with you ever step of the way.

Afew hours later, Yoongi had contacted your manager on your behalf to explain the situation. The man explained that he would contact Yoongi’s manager and gt back to him with a plan. They had asked Yoongi if he would be returning to work, but he out right refused, knowing that you needed him more than ever right now.

As Yoongi hung up the phone, he noticed he’d been sent the link to a news article by Hoseok.

Hobi: Thought you would want to know what actually happened. :/

When Yoongi clicked on the article, he was disgusted at what he saw. There was a video of the incident and he watched in horror as people basically trampled all over you. You could have been killed, pregnant or not. Needless to say, seeing that video did nothing to improve his mood. He glanced at the time on his phone and sighed. It was just past 7AM and he’d been up for nearly 24 hours at this point. He was exhausted. You’d already gone to bed and he was about to join you. He left his phone on the kitchen table. If someone needed him, then they would have to come to the house and physically drag him out of bed.

Since you and Yoongi had both dropped off the face of the Earth, everyone was worried. They all wanted to come and see you, but also wanted to give you space during this time.

It was around mid day when you decided you couldn’t sleep anymore, but you couldn’t get up either. Yoongi was still sleeping soundly beside you, so you picked up your phone, only to be met with a wall of text messages from your group and also BTS.

You were moved by their concerned and caring messages, so much so that it bought happy tears to your eyes.

‘Jagi? Why are you crying? Are you in pain?’ Yoongi’s worried voice pulled you rom your trance. He was now sat up and moved closer so he could cuddle you. You turned to him and smiled.

‘No I’m fine. Just our friends being sickeningly sweet.’ Yoongi smiled himself as he read the messages over your shoulder.

‘I called your manager earlier by the way.’

‘Oh?’

‘Yeah he’s going to talk to mine and get back to us today.’ Yoongi explained while stroking your back.

‘Are they gonna put out a statement?’ You asked hesitantly. You’d done so well to hide your pregnancy till this point, and you’d hoped to hide it a little longer, but if the company thought it beast to announce it, then so be it.

‘Yeah. They’ll probably email the draft over.’ There was a beat of silence.

‘I told them I’m not going back to work.’ Yoongi suddenly dropped, causing you to snap your eyes to him in shock.

‘What!? Why would you do that!?’

‘You and the baby is my number one right now. I’d never forgive myself if something happened and I wasn’t here... Again..’ You cringed at the word again. You knew Yoongi felt guilty for not being there to protect you, even though he was on the other side of the city at the time. You obviously didn’t blame him for what happened. You scooted forwards as best you could and stroked his cheek.

‘Yoongi... What happened wasn’t your fault.’

‘I know. But I want to be here with you.’ You smiled sadly and leaned over to peck his lips, before smirking. You trailed your hand down from his face, and rested it just below his stomach, running your fingers along the hem of his boxers.

‘In that case, I’m glad I get you to myself for the next few months.’ You teased in an attempt to lighten the mood. He laughed at your implication and moved your hand away.

‘Don’t make jokes like that when you can’t deliver!’

A few hours later, you and Yoongi received the statement, now all you had to do was give it the green light. No going back now.

With bated breath, you waited anxiously for the statement to go live.

You’d learned long ago to not look at online comments and that wasn’t about to change now, but it was hard to avoid completely.

You felt like a weight was lifted from your shoulders when the positive reactions to your pregnancy started rolling in. You even got congratulatory messages from other idols and celebrities alike, which was sweet.

You found that in more recent years, fans online tended to have better reactions to things like this than they did years ago. Maybe it was because they’d grown up, or just  became more mature over time. Whatever it was, you were thankful.

You remember a time back in the day when people online were convinced you and Taemin from SHINee were dating, all because he picked up your dropped cue cards for you. The hate you got was insane to say the least, so much so that both BigHit and SM put out statements denying any involvement between the two of you.

Being on bed rest wasn’t nearly as bad as you first thought it would be. Now being 9 months pregnant, your group mates had made time on several occasions to visit you and make sure Yoongi was looking after you. They would give him hell if he wasn’t.

You’d also started doing live streams at around the 8 month mark, entertaining yourself by talking and laughing with your fans.

You were currently doing a live wilst Yoongi worked in his home studio, when something began to feel off.

Where is Yoongi? You read from the chat.

‘Yoongi is working in the other room. We aren’t attached at the hip guys.’ You chuckled as you watched the chat, hand subconsciously stroking over your belly.

‘I’ve been feeling much better after resting, thanks for asking!’

The door suddenly opened and Yoongi popped his head inside with a smile.

‘Hey.’

‘Hey. I bought you food.’ We walked over and handed you a plat with a sandwich.

‘Look at this guys, no prompt or anything.’ You smirked, teasing your husband.

‘You’re lucky I love you.’ He mumbled under his breath.

‘What was that?’ You teased again, cupping your ear with your hand. He just shook his head and rolled his eyes with a laugh, before leaning down and briefly waving to the camera.

‘just call me if you need anything, ok?’ he gave you a pointed look before leaving the room.

‘Thank you~~ Love you!’ You called after him in  a sing song voice.

Not long after Yoongi left the room, you suddenly felt a twinge in your stomach. It was sharp and sudden, so it made you audibly gasp and reach out to grab the portable table in front of you.

The fans in the chat immediately became concerned, spamming their worried messages.

‘Yeah- I-I’m fine I-‘ You cut yourself off when you felt wetness coat your thighs and the bed beneath you.

‘Oh my God!’ You gasped out. Your waters had just broken while you were doing a live stream. You didn’t even think to reassure your fans as you quickly ended the live.

‘Yoongi!’ You called out with a strangled cry, in hopes that he wasn’t working with his headphones on. Your worries were eased when you heard hurried foot steps approaching, before the door swung open.

‘What is it!?’ He was slightly out of breath from running back and forth. You tried to smile through the pain as you looked to him.

‘My waters just broke.’ His eyes widened and he was by your side in an instant.

‘Do we go to the hospital?’

‘No it’s too early.’ You laughed at his concern. You knew that he was well aware that it was too early to leave, after all he’d been reading every bit of media about pregnancy he could get his hands on.

‘Can you just help e to clean up please?’ He grumbled at the thought of waiting, but he started to pull you up to help you none the less. Yoongi held tightly to your arms as he guided you to the shower. Your heart swelled as he lovingly helped you strip out of your soiled clothes and helped you get clean.

Now you were sat in the living room, whilst Yoongi timed your contractions.

Will you call our parents when it’s time?’ You asked with shaky breath, now beginning to be affected more by the pain.

‘Already done.’ You smiled at his efficiency and continued your breathing exercises. It was going to be a long night!

Don't take it from a shipper pov, this is a genuine question.

Jimin talks about suga a lot. And he talks so highly of him. Every time jimin or suga talks about each other it gives an expression that if anyone knows jimin the best then it's suga.

Even jin once mention when he had to write what each member is to jimin, jin said to jimin, suga is seat next to my soul.

Now Taemin said that he know about suga through jimin and he already felt a sense of closeness. Imagine how jimin have talked about yoongi for taemin to say that.

And evey time this year jimin talked about yoongi it sounds like jimin always shares everything with yoongi, yoongi and him always have drinks together, yoongi always seems to know jimin the best.

And the way jimin these days talks a lot about suga.

I'm confused because I never realized all this before. It's more clearer now. Were yoonmin always this close?

It's really not a shipping question I'm just genuinely curious as a jimin fan. Because I don't really like yoongi but to me it looks like yoonmin is suddenly so close.

I don't think Suga and Jimin's bond has gotten closer. They've always had a bond like this but it's often overlooked. It's been like this since they started and it's pretty stable.

In Jimin's Suchwita episode he said his ambition to be in BTS started because of a comment Suga made:

So if you think about it, Jimin's foundation comes from Suga believing in him. Jimin's debut was challenging because they kept threatening to cut him from the team so words from someone like Suga made him keep going.

I feel like Jimin sees Suga as a guy of wisdom. Suga has lived through a lot and managed to make it despite having all the circumstances against him. He praises Jimin's voice, picks Jimin before everyone else, wants to produce songs for Jimin. Suga would cook for Jimin back in their dorm days too. During quarantine, Jimin would talk to Suga on the phone daily. When Suga had his shoulder surgery, Jimin was present during phyisical therapy. So they go way back and continue now.

I think of their relationship like a mentor mentee kinda thing plus the fact that they are friends. I do think that Jimin goes to Suga for professional and life advice. Suga can give Jimin painfully honest unbiased advice since he knows Jimin's professional and private life.

Jimin is a guy who cherishes his friendships and values those who value him. It seems like their friendship is not one sided so it makes sense that it keeps stable.

A lot of people aren't fully aware of their bond and many who are tend to misinterpret it which is sad because they do have a lot of history and moments but none that should be taken in that manner.

Thoughts on Yoonmin Suchwita

Just a quickie write up of my first impressions as I'm slammed with deadlines at work today.

Of course Park Jimin brought Yoongi a birthday cake and serenaded him. Of course he did.

How touching to learn Yoongi bought Jimin his first alcoholic drink to help him through his soulmate dumpling fight!

Early in the year Jimin was in a huge funk and drank a lot (I WONDER WHAT COULD BE THE REASON), but then he snapped out of it for Las Vegas and spent 10 months obsessively working on his album, in which he realized how good he's had it, where he needs to improve, and what he really wants. Amazing creative growth.

So, clearly Yoonmin enjoy pulling each other's pigtails. Hearing Yoongi tease Jimin that he didn't have the body to go shirtless any more... not gonna lie, I sucked in a sharp breath. I am super sensitive to this because of my own disordered eating in the past as a dancer, and I know how Jimin gets dragged online damned near every day for being "Pigman." Frankly, Yoongi should know it, too. But Jimin seemed totally unbothered and they do razz each other about everything, so I'm gonna try and let this go.

The other thing I'm going to try and let go is how hard folks are going to lean into Jimin saying Letter was a fan song. Yes, it was an Easter egg for fans, and yes, he does love us. No, that song is not FOR us and anyone with half a brain gets what is being coded. But I'm not gonna argue about it any more than I'm going to argue about the placement of a J over an M tattoo that keeps being retouched while the others are neglected. If you want plausible deniability, Jikook will always give it to you. Have at it.

Anyway, I was so moved by all the wonderful things Yoongi said, in between teasing Jimin--how proud he was of Jimin, how hard he worked, practicing every single day, that he was a genius, that he always knew Jimin had the unique voice to be a great singer, that he wanted Jimin on his team from day one... that of course he will come to the music shows to support Jimin. Yoongi doesn't typically gush so this warmed my heart.

The way Yoongi kept insisting Jimin come appear on stage while he's on tour and Jimin eventually agreeing that he will. (Roo is going to try very, very hard not to hope he will come to Newark. It was made clear that the members are responsible for their solo promotions and have a heavy say in their albums so I hope that kills any rumors that the company is forcing a narrative or picking favorites. Everything is unfolding how the Tannies wish it to and that's good enough for me to get behind it.

I love how Jimin said that there's no difference between Park Jimin and Jimin of BTS--how he wants to keep going as a team until they are in their 80s--how what he looks forward to most is getting back together in 2025.

Also the way he kept hinting at another album (and the way Yoongi called him out on that--Yoongi pulled no punches, goddamn.)

It was adorable the way they made each other giggle about product placements, fan calls, fan challenges and the like. These two. I'm so glad Yoongi has Jimin and the other members to get silly with. And Jimin laughed til he cried. It was healing to see.

I love that they keep in touch with Jin, that they bring Jin mulhue, that they are happy he's at a healthy weight now.

I'm a little thrown about Yoongi mentioning grandkids but then bisexuals exist and there's been rumors he's dating a woman for a while now. I am not going to dig into it because that's his business. If Yoongi wants a family someday, awesome sauce. If Yoongi doesn't, awesome sauce. I mean this sincerely--I support all 7 wherever they go on their journeys. Even if Jikook don't end up together, I'll be sad about it, but I'm still in this Bangtan shit for life. I'm OT7, and Jimin ult biased, then a Jikook supporter. I happen to believe that Jikook are very much together but being very careful about showing that openly, but if you think otherwise, or it ends up being otherwise, that's honestly okay.

I will just say I'm loving that Yoongi gave Jimin a gift of pillow mist spray in Jungkook's and Jimin's favorite scent of lavender.

Mostly just happy to see our boys so happy.

Re: shinee anon Actually, everything this anon mentioned happened after Taemin, who was the last one to enlist, returned from MS. So yeah, they all completed the enlistment, and then last year Key confirmed they renewed the group contract. When Taemin came back, they had a comeback and did some concerts mainly in Korea and Japan. Then Onew took a couple of months off due to health reasons, but since we had the confirmation that the group contract had been renewed, everyone was expecting a new comeback this year and a world tour (doesn't this sound familiar) but this year Taemin and Onew left SM, and while I think most people expected this to only affect their individual careers, it has taken a toll on the group activities. If my memory serves me correctly, when Taemin was on Suchwita he spoke about wanting Shinee to have longevity as a group, so as much as we know the decision they made was for the best, it's a bit sad to witness how things have been unrolling this year. As this anon mentioned, they still talk about and see each other constantly, you can see there's actual affection in their relationship, but Shinee the group will probably never be what it was. The "group" activities now only include Minho and Key, the only members still under SM. And I have to disagree with anon here, seeing what Shinee has come down to doesn't really give me hope for BTS future. Even though I no longer care about them as a group and I think they would be better off taking separate paths, at least temporarily, I just know that seeing some members carry on with the group activities, acting like everything's fine and normal would leave such a bitter taste in my mouth. I hope they can figure things out differently.

I think what that anon was saying when they were talking about having hope for BTS future is because they’d take the same path as Shinee with having a “final comeback” and then go back to doing individual work. (I’m just asumming they’re a pjm though)

I feel like the fallout of BTS doing as much promising as they have been would be bigger cause armys have really taken it to heart like it’s just set in stone and there’s no reality where BTS not actively being a group would exist beyond 2025. Cause there’s only so many times you can try to console yourselves with “trust BTS.” before reality starts sinking in.

BTS potentially acting like it’s still pre 2021 would also not sit right with me either because for one thing, it would just feel entirely too forced. And like they’re doing it to placate armys so they wouldn’t feel like something is off. But something also tells me they won’t. They were upfront about being stretched too thin/hitting a creative block and needing a break. I think it’ll be the same case when they come to the conclusion that they might be prioritizing their individual careers for the foreseeable future as well.
