"not all men" but not in a men's rights way, in a "it's important to remember that men aren't the only perpetrators of cruelty, abuse, and evil and that subconsciously or consciously training yourself to view men as inherently evil and everyone else as inherently safe inadvertently puts you in a position where you're both vulnerable to attack or harm from people you otherwise wouldn't suspect, AND causes you to limit the number of allies you might have in a time of need" kind of way.

#This is why I worry a lot about young women (teens and twenties) who seek comfort and validation in r//adf//em circles. Many of them have #been hurt through rape or abuse—commonly at the hands of fathers/brothers/uncles or otherwise trusted adults—and have decided that men must #be cruel because both they and their female/female + queer friends have similar stories of abuse. So they seek out others who share this #belief but in doing so they make themselves vulnerable to further abuse and manipulation. I haven't really observed r//adf//em circles long #enough to be able to say what I'm about to say with certainty but I would put money on the idea that being a RF on social media shares the #same hallmarks as being in a cult because the behavior of the adherents is far too similar than that of tradwives or any other modern cult.#Other RF's use the hurt and abuse these young women have experienced and twist and manipulate their truth to foster a sense of #us-against-them cruelty against a population that could in actuality be their fiercest allies. It's such a vicious and relentless cycle.#That's why when I see RF's on here all I feel is pity — both for the cruelty and abuse they've witnessed and suffered but ALSO for the way #they've allowed that abuse to be weaponized against them... many before they were too young to realize it was even happening. We as a #society have got to get better at protecting our young girls and women from r//adf//em ideology. I don't even mean that in a #“destroy the patriarchy” kind of way because that's such a lofty and disorganized goal. I mean it in a “we have to go into uncomfortable #spaces and show these girls love and empathy because right now the only people validating them are people who use their hate and mistrust #against them and if we want to save our young girls and Queer sisters from this pipeline we have to do the dirty work“ kind of way.#But anyway.#jack.txt

This may be an odd mesh of franchises to crossover, but I've been binging RPG horror gameplay while I worked - as I LOVEEEE RPG horror games.

Even though I already finished rewatching Mad Father gameplay by the time I thought of this, I knew I just hadddd to draw something related to it.

Seriously the voice actor for the chase scene sends CHILLS down my spine.

I've been in a horror mood lately, so I decided to enjoy some of the horror vibes in drawing :D

sharpe interesting to me for reasons that I can't even tell are actually in the show or not... it is partially that I got introduced to the land parts of the various napoleonic goings-on in a sort of Archaeological context to start out with, so when I'm watching these guys cross back and forth across spain, losing items and burying friends and enemies as they go, I do keep thinking of hundreds of years in the future and where those things will be. lost shako badges and stray bullets will turn up eventually. wooden grave markers will rot. names will be forgotten and skeletons will remain, buried on a hilltop and maybe someday found. time passes and the dusty weight of history is a very present thing.

#em is posting about sharpe #or it is to me! pointing and shouting pepe silvia style to ask if anyone else is seeing this!!#most historical fiction does not do this to me but sharpe does for some reason #maybe it's that most war fiction I like is maritime and here we're standing our way through funeral after funeral and death after death #and they put them in the ground! and I know a little bit more about how the ground keeps someone than how the sea doesn't!#this is also about the antoine faveau cuirass and that in mental comparison to h&h at waterloo #this is a show that devotes a significant amount of time to what you do with your dead (in my personal opinion anyway!)#and h&h do not and will not get that. and I make sad little whimpery noises and possibly some sad art about it.#all the revenge in the world doesn't let you get them back! and the likelihood of there being time to sort through and set them aside is #not really a lot at all!#and it all doesn't mean much and the world doesn't remember them and no one knows their names or what they did #augh. I haven't been this soupy over The Historical Fiction In Its Haunting of an Imagined Present since the terror #well that's enough speech-making in blueberry park for tonight I think. back to the old physical therapy lurk.

I've been having weird anxiety today and I think it's cause I'm excited? about too many things? at once? Like what is happening? Who am I?

#the wax warmer I ordered for my room & all the little wax melt cubes came today and I LOVE it!#for personal reasons I uhhh do not love candles so I am LOVING having the nice scents without having to light a candle #I ordered a SUPER CUTE Christmas one for the living room too I'm EXCITED & all the little cubes I got smell GOOD!!!!#my sims have goats & sheeps now!!!! I haven't been able to fully dive into the game too much yet but #they are SO CUTE. ur all lucky I haven't spammed nothing but sims goats & sheep screenshots allll day #and I took down all my turkey day decor and now it's time to decorate for Christmas and I'm REALLY pumped for it this year #most of my presents are wrapped! and I'm gonna put em under my little tree! i may be bad at many, many video games. but i am comically bad at rdr2

#i keep accidentally killing ppl who attack me and then i get bounties #i keep taking too long looting when i've been mugged and i get even more bounties #i was trying to fight off a pack of wolves when the law men found me and had to fight off the wolves AND 6 law men long enough to run away #istg if i do anything other than hunt deer i get bounties put on my head im tired of paying them off #also i keep getting mugged by gangs more n more and fighting them is risky bc.. of the bounties...#i tried to save a man getting mauled by a wolf but i failed and he died #then some guy rides past me n this dead guy and reports it as murder and i get ANOTHER bounty #i've had to start giving ppl a wide berth when i ride past em bc 3x now if i was too close ppl got mad n started shooting me #and if i shoot back n kill them then there's ALWAYS a witness who reports it as murder christ #maybe i should just start hog tying ppl and leaving them like that #the game also hasn't taught me how to not kill ppl in melee fights so i dread getting challenged lmfao i don't want to kill these ppl! cmon!#anyway i tamed my first horse :-)#naming all my horses after beans #my stuff #i am not even to the 3rd chapter of the game yet i think i haven't even seen the bad predators or anything #major hijinks to ensue when bears start popping up fr

Had a weird dream abt ws5... It was sort of an scenario where the big battle was incoming, and yugo had to find his siblings dofus(es?). Mina and Phaeris had soft pink accents instead of green-ish and uh.. the last egg to find was qilby's and the stakes were super high and.. the dream ended. I woke up :/

Also we got interactions with balthazar and glip, and I was like FINALLY!! Aside from mina and shino, glip is one of the least seen elia siblings and come onn I wanna see him interact with yugo!!!
