Getting rejected from an audition sucks guys I’m actually really sad rn ☹️☹️👎
#tell me why I’m actually so upset 😭😭#like crying#I CANNOT handle rejection#I NEVER GET REJECTED ?? :(#like i was so excited to be the bass guitarist for this new jazz band at uni and I auditioned and it went well ??#only to get an email back saying that I didn’t get in bc I can’t sight read 😭😭#THEY SAID IT WASNT A PROBLEM IN THE AUDITION ??#also I can still read music ?!!#I studied music tf#also it’s not like I’m bad bassist lowkey not to flex but I’m so good and can play to grade 8 and my old jazz band was WAY better#and you couldn’t even get auditioned for that one#you had to be invited#not to flex but I was invited#and also sight reading is literally not even an issue bc if you just give me the sheet music before#I can play#and in the audition they literally said it’s not an issue#so why are they bs ing me now#I KNEW THAT PRESIDENT HAD IT OUT FOR ME FROM THE START#HE LITERALLY HATES ME#also it’s not even like there was a better bassist#I’m really sad rn I was looking forward to it so bad#I have no will to live#bro I’m actually so sad rn 😭😭☹️☹️#I miss my old jazz band so much omg I’m so sad#nia rants !

#I recorded a lil clip of me singing the last classical song I learned back in high school#surprised I still know it so well#I’m not posting it cause DAMN I’m rusty as fuck#but I think it’ll be cool to have a before audio for when I start working on my voice again#lol wish I had a BEFORE audio from before high school and all my lessons#OOOOOFDA BESTIE NAH#I thought I was so fucking good and then I get to my performing arts high school#with a bunch of talented people and I realized I in fact sounded like a screeching walrus#but then I worked and studied through high school and I think I gotta pretty good#even went to a few competitions which was super weird but fun#aw I miss those days so much#so I’m going to try and get back into it#gonna be hard since I’m not like surrounded by it all the time#but I’m gonna start brushing up on my music theory and maybe even fuck around and compose a little bit#I used to learn songs in all of these different languages#I miss it so much#and I’ve decided I’m going to start creating the person I want to be and stop wishing I was that person#anywayyyyyyyyy#idk where I was gonna go with that#if anyone is *genuinely* interested in hearing my classical audio send me a message#but I’m not gonna post it cause bro let me tell you it’s rustyyyyyyyy#I got my high notes down but everything else?
