I am absolutely unrecognisable. I couldn't close my mouth. I could talk and eat just fine, it was purely cosmetic, and I see no one complaining. all I've seen is terfs saying "you're comparimg BRACES to HRT!?" and my answer is yes. yes I am.

now I do not regret having braces, and I much prefer my face shape now, but braces have changed my appearance more than HRT has. the change from my braces was more drastic than a year and a half of testosterone. I started testosterone at 16. I got braces at 10 years old. TEN. YEARS. OLD. and terfs winge and whine that I was too young to decide to go on testosterone, and didn't have proper informed consent, yet don't bat an eye when I mention my braces.

also, why do terfs think we don't give informed consent? "you're not informed!! you didn't know X Y Z!!" actually I did? who tf told you the doctors don't tell us these things? oh, right, you assume we don't know because if YOU had known, YOU would've decided not to go on HRT. this is where the idea of coercion comes from. of COURSE you would only transition if you were coerced into doing so. this is because you do not have dysphoria. people with dysphoria do not need to be coerced. someone tell these dipshits that their experience is not universal.

there is no medical component to a trans kid transitioning

if a little trans boy comes out to his parents & is like 4 all youd do for his transition is cut his hair, buy a new wardrobe, & switch pronouns & possibly change names

no one is gonna put a little 4 year old on testosterone OR puberty blockers until theyre actually about to start puberty & then they give them a few years to really decide if they want to start hormones

a trans kid existing isnt “child abuse.” child abuse is refusing to let your kid live their lives as they truly are & forcing them to present as a gender they arent

I rly hate the lack of Tori content

Like, I understand why most of the content is about Charlie and heartstopper because! There's more content there, and they have a TV show, and an ongoing plot, and like, Charlie is the main character, and he goes through a lot, so naturally he's going to be the main focus! But like...

Tori has a whole book about her. Not just her own book, but the first book. She's the first character in the Osmanverse. Every other character technically stemmed from her.

In that book, it is almost entirely about her depression, and her struggle, and her downward spiral, and-

Like. Charlie obviously has a lot of struggle. Obviously. But so does Tori, and I wish some people would get that? Like, I get some people haven't read Solitaire. But, like, even in the TV show you can see her struggling in the background and I wish some people would just acknowledge that.

I'm quite particular which definitely inhibits the volume as I end up doing a lot of self pruning lol I hadn't heard of ubirajara jubatus before! I LOVE any dinosaur which has a silly feature like Majungasaurus' TINY non-exsistant arms, Deinocheirus general whatever-the-hell-it's-doing or every-ceratopsian-and-their-stupid-varied-skulls will always be my favourites. Psittacosaurus and Styracosaurus come to immediate mind BUT i'm only human and a massive sucker for big charismatic megafauna (and a huge basic bastard to boot) so Spinosaurus ends up eeking everything out.

I love it's weird shape...I love that it only gets weirder the more pieces we (re)discover of it! There's a leaked paper synopsis circulating at the moment so I'm eagerly waiting have a read through of that with a cuppa when that is published. I'm very anti-'clutter' so me having this guy watching over me as I draw on a bookcase is a testament to how much I like him...he's friends with my Heavy lol

during the last solas regret memory, when you choose the sad option (he loved her and blamed her) and rook says: "when the other gods struck her down, he destroyed the elven empire to avenge her," they seem to be looking right at lucanis. (who is also the next person to speak and seems to be meeting their gaze during that). there are some times when the staging of a scene makes me feel slightly unfairly rewarded for being a lucanis romancer haha. (or rather unfairly rewarded for having the kind of unhinged brain I do while being a lucanis romancer, maybe.) guess who pretty consistently gets to sit at rook's right hand in most of the scenes where everyone is at the dinner table too :) just little lucanis privileges
