If you asked me about the sneak peek scene of Michael giving Charlie the cat I’d say

“yeah, I really like it”

But if you asked me on a deeper level I’d say

“I love that scene so much I might actually explode. Everything about it is perfect. Michael’s mannerisms and his voice are exactly how I imagined. The way he gave Charlie the cat, and then rambled about how he came to own it, are so based. The way it’s reminiscent of the kaleidoscope that Michael buys in Solitaire is such a nice touch. I love the way Tori drags him up the stairs, trying to stifle a smile, I’m so glad my girl is happy. The way Michael yells down at the group to have fun, making weird noises, basically just being Michael. The meows at the end between Charlie, Tao, and Elle, the way you know Charlie is going to put that on his bookshelf and cherish it. I’ve watched that scene so much I have it memorized, and, no, I don’t take criticism.”

I rly hate the lack of Tori content

Like, I understand why most of the content is about Charlie and heartstopper because! There's more content there, and they have a TV show, and an ongoing plot, and like, Charlie is the main character, and he goes through a lot, so naturally he's going to be the main focus! But like...

Tori has a whole book about her. Not just her own book, but the first book. She's the first character in the Osmanverse. Every other character technically stemmed from her.

In that book, it is almost entirely about her depression, and her struggle, and her downward spiral, and-

Like. Charlie obviously has a lot of struggle. Obviously. But so does Tori, and I wish some people would get that? Like, I get some people haven't read Solitaire. But, like, even in the TV show you can see her struggling in the background and I wish some people would just acknowledge that.

People who are mad about the "This is not a love story" on the cover of Solitaire did not pay enough attention to the bit where Tori talks about Pride and Prejudice and about marriage not being the central concern of the book, but instead she believes the central concern are Darcy's and Elizabeth's characters: "They spend the whole thing trying to merge who they really are and who they're seen as"
