Let's talk about teeth.

I can't imagine too many whumpers are giving their captives toothbrushes. And when teeth are uncared for, cavities form. And when cavities are untreated, infections happen. And when infections happen, whumpee is left in agony.

You see, the nerves in your head are very sensitive, and very connected. An infected cavity isn't a mere pain in the jaw, no, it will radiate into the eye, the ear, the skull, the nose. A passive torture that only gets worse and worse the longer it goes untreated.

Imagine a whumpee, curled up on themself, teeth clenched and hands desperately massaging their temples, praying that they'll black out so they don't have to endure this for another second.

Imagine a whumpee volunteering to get their teeth yanked out if it means the offending infection goes with it. Imagine the whumper's reaction when they eagerly open wide for the pliers.

Imagine the relief and agony that comes with the moment their tooth is pulled from their head. Gushing blood and throbbing pain, but also pure bliss knowing that the sleepless nights of throbbing and pounding are finally over.

Lol I'm surprised they like citrus fruits. Since they are not hens it's safe to feed them some.

It's harder to see on Pinky but on Hades you can tell that the light colored old scales are giving way to nice healthy ones. Since they are on a healthy diet now I expect this to continue. Just don't mind his feet being dirty since they are on puppy pads its easy for them messy

geez what an exhausting day at the dentist. I cried:

while I was waiting because the pain was so bad

when a numbing injection accidentally hit the abscess

when it turned out I wasn't numb enough and the dentist tried to pull the tooth

I have never cried at the dentist before, not even as a kid.

Oh, not to mention I was shaking first from pain and then from the anesthetic. I didn't know anesthetic could do that. They put a blanket on me. Worst dentist visit of my life.

AHHHHH I'm so fucking happy rn just learned I can get my tooth extracted without getting the bridge and it's like a whole 4k cheaper and that's including getting 5 other cavities fixed that I wouldn't have been able to get fixed if I had gotten the bridge

i see so many breakdowns about the tragedy of the champion!hawke (you try to save everyone, you will not; you do everything for the people you love, you will lose them anyway; etc etc) but i've never seen a breakdown about the tragedy of bethany hawke. she has all the tragedy of the champion, all the trauma, on top of being a mage and losing all agency for the majority of the story.

i get that a mage!hawke's storyline is similar, but by nature it cannot be exactly bethany's; her tragedy is borne of being the main character's little sister.
