I have thoughts!
I doubt Izuku went eight years being Quirkless.
For one thing, after the Final War, he still had two years of high school left. I doubt all that time he used One For All continously when he have to focus on schoolwork and had more time to actually wind down since the major villains of the story have been dealt with. So there would be times he wouldn't have to use OFA like that.
Last chapter, we can see he still has OFA.
Tumblr media
I would say it would be more recently that he lost OFA.
Tumblr media
Note that here, Izuku says "recent times". This is just happening now that his class has reached their goals of what they wanted to accomplished. From Ochako and the others creating a program to help people to Mezo getting an award.
When this came...
Tumblr media
I figure this can interpreted as Aizawa asking about his Quirk and being a Hero on the field or just his time in school when everything was happening.
Tumblr media
Why some of the fandom took this as abandonment is beyond me. "We started working..."
Folks, Class A would be 24 - 25 years old... they would have just started to be Pro Heroes probably three years or later if you consider their "college years" would be the time they would be sidekicks and working to having their own agencies. Probably some of then even living together to save money and whatnot.
A teacher is fitting for Izuku as he is still encouraging others and it reflects even how All Might, his mentor, was one. He knows he'll be Quirkless again, a job as a teacher is ideal for him.
You need a bachelor's degree to be a teacher, which takes four years. So from probably age 18 to 22, Izuku worked for that degree to be a teacher. Meaning that time, he necessarily didn't have to use OFA, if he still had it. And he could have also been doing the sidekick thing on the side.
Present Mic is an example of a character who has multiple occupations, so I don't doubt that Izuku couldn't have done sidekick work and studies at the same time.
Therefore, he would have been a teacher for 3 years at the moment at this point.
Now, given that a school like UA exists, where they taught Heroics, business, engineering, etc. There could have been colleges like that. So class A could have went to the same college and still hung out, including Izuku.
Point is what I'm saying is, because of what Izuku's schedule may have looked like, I doubt he lost the embers of OFA that fast. Yes, he most definitely lost them, but like overnight? Yeah, no.
And him being abandoned? Some of you took a hold of the steering wheel and whipped it way too hard to the left. They definitely still talked. They just got busy with their jobs and hectic schedules.
"How dare they not tell Izuku about the project?!"
... IT WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE, HELLO?! Have none of you gotten something nice as a surprise before???

BETTER LUCK TOMORROW - introduction ! senior project
pairing : nishimura riki x reader
synopsis : after being in the wrong place at the wrong time, you (as well as your friends), were framed for the death of your brother and disappearance of your boyfriend. you all had no hope. no job, no money, none of you were even allowed to graduate. at least, until a stubborn kid on a dance scholarship suddenly acts as your savior, riki helps clear your name all for the sake of a school project.
this episode contains the following : 1.3k wc, brief swearing, mentions of death & mentions of murder/killing, lots of dialogue
previous | masterlist | next
“as you all know, you have a major senior project due by the end of the year for part of your college interviews. this will be worth 90% of your grade and is not optional. any questions to far?” riki’s english teacher read off the whiteboard, before turning to face the class.
she cleared her throat loudly before continuing.
“late work will not be accepted, because you have until may 25 to get this project submitted. everyone should know which college they plan on attending, or applying to by now. a google slides format must be be at least 25 slides, and a word doc should be at least 10 pages.”
jungwon quoted the teacher, explaining to riki what’s expected of them after he realized riki hadn’t been paying attention.
“how the hell did you remember all she said? and- why are you even here.. you’re like, a freshman in college.” riki noticed, with a visible look of confusion on his face.
“sophomore, actually. and i’m here for volunteer work! we have finals too you know. i was telling you and sunoo about this last week, but it’s for my social thought class!-” jungwon explained with a smile, only for it to drop as he was cut off .“yeah yeah okay. so what kind of topic am i supposed to pick?” riki asked before crumpling up a random paper into a ball, tossing it in jungwons direction.
jungwon let out a sigh. “riki, you really need to do better. if you can’t improve how you act, that impact will show on my grade as well. and that won’t be good for either of us.” he said as he took the paper ball, unfolding it to reveal riki’s report card from last quarter. it wasn’t too bad really, mainly straight a and b minuses. but the biggest issue, was behavior and participation.
“how would your grade tanking be bad on me? i still have until fall before i start going to ucla.”
“i really don’t know how you got in.” jungwon shook his head.
“dance scholarship. duh.” “nishimura riki! you have 7 more minutes to determine your main topic. i recommend that you use your time more wisely.” the teacher called out from her desk.
“okay seriously, now we have to focus. what topics are you interested in?” jungwon asked, as he pulled his notebook out.
“well, i like dancing. i can research the history on different dance styles.” riki shrugged, loosely putting an idea out there.
“that’s actually not that bad, especially as a dance major. let’s sit on that idea for a bit in case anything else comes up. what else do you like?” jungwon hummed while briefly scribbling a few notes in.
“i don’t even get why i still have to do this stupid assignment when i already heard back from ucla. if anything it’s a waste of my time, because this only benefits the kids who haven’t heard back yet.” riki complained.
“well,” jungwon chuckled. “the start of the fall semester is still a while from now, anything can change by then. they’re still gonna be looking at your final report card and all that. this is just to determine that your slot in that school is ensured. i think the you from freshman year would be proud to see you improve.”
but of course, he wasn’t listening. riki was hyper focused on his computer. at least until the last sentence stuck out to him.
“say that again?” riki questioned, making sure he heard jungwon right.
“the you from three years ago would be proud if you improved?” he repeated an improvised version, with a raised brow.
riki chewed on the bottom of his pen, before hastily writing something down on jungwon’s notebook.
“you.. you want to solve heeseung and jay’s case..?” jungwon stuttered as he read the notes. “how is this even related to what i said? is it because you were a freshman when it happened?”
“do you really believe yn was capable of killing them? i mean honestly, won. we grew up with her. she was heeseung’s little sister.” riki insisted, ignoring jungwon’s previous questions.
“i couldn’t believe it either, because there was no way it could’ve been her. but there was a lot of evidence that said otherwise.” jungwon informed, moving the notebook back onto his desk.
“also, don’t get mad when i say this. but, do you think the reason why you’ve been so fixated on yn being innocent is because you never got over your crush on her from middle school?”
“hey! shut the fuck up dude.” riki hissed, slapping the older boy on the back of his head. “and she was someone we were close to, a 17 year old at the time. it just isn’t likely.”
“age doesn’t mean anything. 35% of murders in america were committed by people ranging between 17 and 21. and, 28% of murders are committed by a relative or acquaintance. chances are low but not zero.” a girl butt in from behind the them. riki whipped his head back to see who it was, only to wish he never turned around.
minji kim. a pain in the original friend groups ass since elementary school.
the two stared at her with two completely different expressions. riki looked minji up and down with a frown, while jungwon just blinked slowly with wide eyes.
“what? do you seriously not remember me?” she scoffed.
“no trust me, we do, minji.” riki huffed before turning back around.
“we’re just wondering how you know that, is all.” jungwon hummed.
“my brother is a police officer now. i’m sure if you didn’t know who he was, one of your other friends might.” she snickered.
minjae kim. he is minji’s brother and one of the officers who handled the heeseung-jay case, aka one of the officers responsible for the arrests of yn and a few others. riki would know, because he attended the court hearing.
“minji, what topic have you selected?” the teacher asked as she briefly looked up from the computer screen.
“i will be making a slideshow on the history of ballet.” she answered with a proud smile. oh how riki just wanted to wipe that look off her face.
“and.. finally. riki and jungwon?”
"me and jungwon will investigate the lee siblings case, from 3 years ago." and the teachers face fell.
"riki, i don't know if this is a good topic write on. you still have time to change your mind-"
"no. this is what i want to do. i want to solve the murder of heeseung lee, and the disappearance of jay park." riki cut off the teacher with determination.
and the class went silent.
"there's nothing to solve! yn lee killed her own brother, and her own boyfriend. case closed." minji said. but remember, her brother was one of the officers who testified against yn. of course, her opinion on the topic was just as biased as riki’s or jungwon’s could be.
"shut up minji, your brother got demoted for a reason. and, you didn't know yn." jungwon waved off.
"you may have known heeseung but that doesn't mean you know her. and i know enough about yn lee to see that shes a cold hearted killer." "enough!" the teacher interrupted.
"fine. riki and jungwon, you may pursue this case. but we have to set some boundaries. first off, you may use any public sources or personal connections. secondly, when contacting any sources like publishers or officers, do not push the limit. if they say certain answers to questions are confidential, then respect that. third and foremost, absolutely do NOT contact the lees or the parks. leave any involved families out of this, especially now that miss yn lee is out of juvie."
she teacher sighed in slight relief as she saw jungwon and riki nodding in agreement.
but what she didn’t see, was how their fingers were crossed behind their backs.

This is why Moku and I are dangerous to each other:
clockways — Today at 2:01 AM
OKAY Danny/Tim where Danny is either ghost king or working for Clockwork or playing Reaper or something showing up to talk to Tim like "MY DUDE, you have got to stop killing so many people, even if it's in the name of good, esp when they're surrounded by rancid ectoplasm"
And this is now the Bats learn about Tim's LOA kill count
Mokulule — Today at 2:12 AM
Heheheh oh yesss
Does Danny show up in the middle of like a supposedly secure location in the middle of a mission?
Like “dude please, I do not need the assassin influx, you have any idea of the trouble you caused killing so many at once?”
Mokulule — Today at 2:19 AM
I’m kinda imagining these new ghosts still following Ra’s Al Ghul fanatically unless Danny can somehow get them rehabilitated and imagine if they found their way to the living world?! Do you want that madman to have a ghost army?
clockways — Today at 2:19 AM
I think a mission or right in the middle of the cave, yeah
and totally, like the pit waters have a Not Good effect on the ghosts so they're even more off than normal I think
Mokulule — Today at 2:22 AM
Okay but I am liking the implication here that Tim has been having this ongoing crusade against Ra’s in the background of everything where he keeps blowing up LOA bases and somehow managing to keep it secret
Here B thought Ra’s was his nemesis, turns out attention had shifted to Tim years ago
clockways — Today at 2:25 AM
Yes, Tim is 100% the Detective now and Ra's keeps being a creepy obsessed mo-fo and Tim just keeps finding ways to blow shit up. if it started at 17 could say Tim is 20, 21 now so they've been at it three years or so
Mokulule — Today at 2:26 AM
And like Danny has had enough, there’s so many of them they have their own realm in the realms and are stirring up trouble trying to find ways back into the living world
clockways — Today at 2:27 AM
Yeeeees They're basically segregated into a specific area of the realms and are still causing shit
Mokulule — Today at 2:28 AM
Maybe they even have their own pseudo pit from gathering rancid ectoplasm and it’s messing up the ecosystem and they’re hurting the blobs that would otherwise be cleaning that shit up
And the pseudo pit is definitely not helping their mental stability
Just trash assassin baby ghosts
clockways — Today at 2:29 AM
LOL Blob ghost sucker fish! yes xD
Mokulule — Today at 2:29 AM
They need rehabilitation and a bath and like it’s really not helping that Tim keeps sending more
clockways — Today at 2:30 AM
Every time Danny starts to get a handle on it BAM more assassins and more bad juice
And then Danny has to ramp up the blob ghost breeding again
Mokulule — Today at 2:31 AM
Yeah and he can only handle a couple at a time and he also has to make sure they don’t go back once he’s gotten them out and it’s just a mess
clockways — Today at 2:31 AM
OKAY OKAY WAIT. Danny makes an appointment with Tim as Wayne CEO
Shows up in his human guise with Tim as just Tim which sets up all sorts of alarms
Mokulule — Today at 2:32 AM
Ahahahaha yesss this is like a corporate problem 😂
clockways — Today at 2:32 AM
How is this normal seeming dude associated with the LOA?? What does he know about Tim??? Who is he???
Dany is just :) Look at me, using the proper channels!
Mokulule — Today at 2:32 AM
Danny is trying to go about this the right way official like
🤝
clockways — Today at 2:32 AM
🤝
Mokulule — Today at 2:33 AM
😂 everyone is very suspicious of Danny Fenton
clockways — Today at 2:34 AM
It doesn't help that he has officially been missing in the living realm since he graduated high sch9ool
(someone ((lancer)) finally noticed and reported him)
Mokulule — Today at 2:34 AM
Oh yeah even more suspicious for potential LOA connection
The fact that it was an old teacher and not his parents reporting him missing despite having graduated high school is also concerning
clockways — Today at 2:37 AM
mmmmy hum just all these red flags and it's very frustrating for the whole batfam.
Mokulule — Today at 2:38 AM
And like the guy looks like Danny Fenton, but is he really? He’s somehow very careful about not leaving prints and DNA where he goes, they’ve not been able to get any surefire confirmation this is indeed Danny Fenton
clockways — Today at 2:38 AM
AND THEN there is a gala that Ra's also shows up to... as does Danny. Just... to keep an eye on things. (He's worried about ghost assassins.)
But Tim sees Danny out of the corner of his eye and !!!
(Danny just went intangible through the wall, he's totally not on the guest list)
Mokulule — Today at 2:40 AM
Oh yes, he’s dressed up well enough, he’s had to learn that as a king and fits in just fine
clockways — Today at 2:42 AM
Tim can't help but recognize that Danny is handsome.
Mokulule — Today at 2:43 AM
Tim thinking he’s got two enemies at the gala now - has Tim told the other bats about Danny or is he hiding that? Cause then Tim might think the others have Ra’s handled so he has to handle Danny- and yeah okay he is very handsome, now that he’s not busy internally freaking out over what he knows (which he was at the first meeting)
clockways — Today at 2:45 AM
Depends how much the Bats know about Ra's interest in Tim. If they're aware at all, he's told them I think since Danny know is a threat to them all. 🤔
But I do still see him handling Danny either way since Danny hasn't met the family- keep things separate until there is no doubt.
Mokulule — Today at 2:46 AM
Okay but Clock, has Danny in his attempt at going through proper channels and requesting a meeting completely forgotten to mention the word ghost since he thought that was implied when he said the dead assassins were a problem for him?
clockways — Today at 2:47 AM
100%
He is still a disaster at explaining things
And look Tim is damn cute, Danny was a little flustered.
Mokulule — Today at 2:48 AM
So when Tim asks him what he’s doing there at the gala and he tells him that he’s keeping an eye out for assassins - Tim maybe takes that as a threat - like Tim thinks they’re playing 5D mental chess here, but Danny is a disaster and is not even playing chess
clockways — Today at 2:49 AM
!! OH Added bonus, Danny's etiquette training is all be like Dorathea and Pandora and etc, so he has a rather unusual speach pattern in King Mode which makes him seem that maybe common english isn't his first language but if he is Danny Fenton that doesn't track....
Mokulule — Today at 2:50 AM
Oh yesss good
clockways — Today at 2:50 AM
They have to end up on the dance floor, of course.
Mokulule — Today at 2:50 AM
Of course
Obligatory
clockways — Today at 2:51 AM
Danny is just all :) I'm putting my training to use! This is going so well!
Tim >:| What is this man playing at...
Mokulule — Today at 2:51 AM
Yes XD
clockways — Today at 2:52 AM
Ra's takes an instant hatred to Danny because he is Taking Tim's Attention!
Mokulule — Today at 2:52 AM
Eventual reveal is going to be hilarious
clockways — Today at 2:52 AM
Which makes Tim think that Ra's and Danny are old enemies
Mokulule — Today at 2:52 AM
Oh yess hahaha Ra’s now trying to have Danny killed
Now Danny is having to deal with both living and dead assassins he is not amused, but if he gets them away from Ra’s in the living world that will help some problems down the line. Just every assassin Ra’s sends disappears and no bodies turn up
clockways — Today at 2:55 AM
It's driving both Tim and Ra's mad
Things maybe come to a head when some of the ghost assassins try to go after Tim and Phantom shows up?
Mokulule — Today at 2:57 AM
XD Does Tim realize this is Danny or does he now think there’s another player?
Are they aware of Phantom as a ghost hero?
clockways — Today at 2:59 AM
HUM so I kinda want to say Tim does put 2 + 2 together- at least at some point. Maybe just because Phantom's new outfit mirrors what his formal clothing had. Not like perfectly but there's a lot of parallels in color and things
Maybe not till he's safe and- if they know of Phantom- they're back somewhere secure
Tim just holding an ice pack to his head jolting up and pointing a finger at Phantom "You're Danny!!!"
Phantom: Uh, yeah??? Of course I am?
-
And then @mokulule got distracted by fic and I went to sleep cause it was 3am. But my can we go from 'random statement' to 60% of a fic outline in no time. (Not it.)

Camp Wiegman-Part 25
Lucy Bronze x Ona Batlle
Tumblr media
Alternative Universe : Military School
Words: 5k
Masterlist
———————————————————————
Friday, December 18; 11:00 AM - School.
The bell rings, signaling the end of classes. I finally leave the classroom, leaving behind my last lessons of the year. They were certainly the longest I’ve ever endured since my last exam. I’ve never been so excited to get out of here. My things were already packed even before the final announcement. I run out without waiting for Alexia, who’s desperately calling after me in the hallway. I manage to avoid the rush and arrive in record time in front of Lucy’s office. I immediately scan the room for her, but she’s nowhere to be seen.
“Where’s Bronze?” I ask, out of breath.
“Hello to you too, Ona,” Engen greets me. “She had to go to administration. She shouldn’t be long.”
“Thanks!” I say as I turn to leave.
“Hey! No running in the halls!” Engen reprimands me.
Her warning doesn’t stop me from continuing my sprint toward the entrance hall. I smile when I see Lucy making her way through the students rushing to leave. I dash towards her, causing her to frown as soon as she sees me. Before she has the chance to scold me, I leap onto her.
“What are you doing, Ona?” she growls sternly.
She tries to shake me off, but I tighten my legs around her waist. I’m too happy to care about the attention we’re drawing.
“I did it, Bronze! I did it!” I shout excitedly.
“What are you talking about?” she grumbles. “Let go of me!”
“It’s thanks to you! I passed almost all my subjects!”
My words stop her in her tracks. She stops struggling and looks me straight in the eyes. Her expression changes dramatically, making me beam with joy. The wait to show her all my makeup test scores that my homeroom teacher gave me during my last class was unbearable. I release my grip on her now that I have her full attention.
“Even though this is good news, never do that again… in public,” she scolds me. “Am I clear?”
“Yeah, yeah,” I reply indifferently.
I rummage through my bag and pull out all my makeup test papers. I put the first one we worked on together at the top—the one with the math equations. My teacher handed it back to me along with the rest since I was sick when it was returned and he forgot to give it to me earlier.
“Here, look.”
She sighs in annoyance and snatches the papers from my hands. She squints as she examines them. Her features soften, and her tense jaw relaxes. She looks back and forth between me and the first paper several times.
“An eighteen!? When did you take this one?”
“It was the first one you helped me study for. The equations, remember?”
“Uh-huh.”
“I got the highest grade,” I say proudly.
She smiles as she flips through the rest. I smile too, noticing that she’s genuinely interested. My grades range between eight and sixteen. They’re nothing like the ones I used to get, which ranged between three and nine. Thanks to her, my averages are going up, maybe even doubling if my last assignments of the week turned out well. It’s a huge leap forward.
“See, I told you there was no reason to worry. You drove yourself crazy for nothing, and you drove me crazy in the process!”
The pressure I had been carrying is released in a nervous chuckle. She surprises me by pulling me into a hug, even though a few students are still passing through the hall. I won’t complain and just let myself enjoy it. All my efforts have finally paid off.
“I’m proud of you.”
I smile against her shoulder, savoring those simple words. It’s hard to remember the last time someone said that to me. The fact that it’s coming from Lucy warms my heart. The emotion and relief are so overwhelming that a few tears escape without me realizing it. I step back to avoid breaking down and quickly wipe my eyes to hide any evidence of recent tears. Unfortunately, it seems she noticed, as she gently wipes the dampness from under my eyes with her thumbs.
“It’s all thanks to you…”
“I didn’t do anything special,” she says with a sincere smile.
“Yes, you did. You helped me, supported me… You’ve been there from the start and never gave up on me.”
“That’s not what you said when you first arrived.”
A throat clearing interrupts our moment, startling us. Our intimate moment could have been witnessed by anyone, but we relax when we see it’s only Engen.
“You’re both so reckless! Doing that in front of everyone! Imagine if Wiegman had seen this scene!”
If Engen weren’t so angry, I’d probably be laughing. It’s the first time I’ve seen her so mad. She’s usually in a teasing mood. Lucy doesn’t seem fazed; in fact, she seems amused by the situation.
“The chances were slim since I just came out of his office. But thanks for being so concerned.”
“Yeah, whatever,” she grumbles.
“Anyway, here, go eat. They’re waiting for you.”
I nod as I put my papers back in my bag. I wish them a good lunch before heading to the cafeteria. As I expected, everyone is already at the table. No one seems bothered by my delay. I’m sure Ale explained why. She knew I wanted to show my grades to Lucy. Anyway, everyone is too preoccupied with their upcoming holiday plans to notice my absence. In a few hours, we’ll all finally be home.
“Did you manage to ask Mapi about New Year’s?” Ale asks me.
“Well, no, I didn’t get the chance. She wasn’t feeling well, so I didn’t have the opportunity. I’ll ask her during the week and let you know.”
“Okay, we’ll go with that. We’ll be in touch anyway, right? Unless you decide to go radio silent for two weeks…”
“That wasn’t my plan,” I reply with a small smile.
“Phew! Because I’d miss you! Well, except maybe your snoring.”
“I don’t snore!” I protest.
“That’s what you say,” she teases.
“It only happened when I was sick because my nose was blocked,” I defend myself. “It doesn’t count.”
“You snore even when you’re not sick. I swear! Where’s Bronze? She’ll confirm it!”
“She wouldn’t know that,” I mutter.
“She watched over you all week. Of course she knows.”
“Ridiculous,” I roll my eyes.
Alexia laughs while I’m clearly annoyed by her claim. There’s no way I snore. Mapi can’t stand snoring. She would’ve said something if I did.
“So, is it true?” Alessia asks.
“Of course not,” I insist. “My ex would’ve kicked me out of bed if it were.”
“Seriously, she would’ve done that?” Alexia giggles. “Oh my God, I really need to meet her!”
“Who are we talking about?” Alessia asks, looking quite curious.
Alexia glances at me, biting her lip. Her slightly too obvious comment didn’t go unnoticed. Surprisingly, I don’t mind. It’s not like most of the people around the table don’t already know about my orientation. Alexia had encouraged me to tell them a while ago, so I did. However, she’s the only one who knows about Mapi.
“Mapi” I say hesitantly.
« Mapi as Mapi your best friend ? » Alessia ask.
I rub my neck, feeling awkward. No matter how many people know, this topic is still uncomfortable for me.
“It’s complicated. The only thing you need to know is that I m lesbian and we used to date but we broke up a long time ago.”
“Sorry,” Alexia grimaces. “It slipped out. I know you don’t like to talk about that. »
“It’s okay,” I say, offering her a reassuring smile.
She seems relieved by my words. Alexia is someone who doesn’t always think before she speaks when she’s excited. I can’t really blame her for being herself.
“You know, there’s no need to feel ashamed,” Alessia tells me. “I know it’s hard to come to terms with it—I’m a lesbian myself—but you get there with time.”
“Everyone is who they are. We don’t accept the same things or have the same background” I say more coldly than I intended.
We maintain eye contact, neither of us backing down. Her reaction slightly irritates me. What does it have to do with her anyway? It’s not like we’re close or she knows me well. She looks away, clearly hurt by my response. The table falls silent. Patri finally breaks the tension with a throat-clearing.
“So, what’s the first thing you’re going to do when you get home?”
Her subtle change of subject successfully shifts the mood. Everyone starts talking about their plans, and the conversation picks up again, excluding me. I hope I made my stance on my orientation clear. The last thing I need is rumors. If that happens, I’m sure the gossip about Lucy and me will only intensify. That would be unfortunate, especially now that she’s just starting to open up to me. My attention is drawn back to the table when I hear them discussing New Year’s again. Thanks to Ale’s comment, everyone now understands that Mapi is my ex. This new information doesn’t seem to have changed their minds about inviting her. If anything, they’re even more eager to meet her now. After that, we finally head back to our rooms. Alexia hasn’t stopped apologizing on the way back. She clearly feels guilty.
“Seriously, I really regret letting that slip.”
“It’s fine, I promise.”
“Why aren’t you mad? I don’t know, say something. You’re worrying me even more!”
“What was said?”
We turn towards the door as Lucy walks in. She looks at us curiously, as if she just realized she interrupted an important conversation.
“That Mapi is my ex. The others didn’t know.”
“Oh. And is that a problem for you?”
“No, but Alexia doesn’t seem to get it. She thinks I’m going to explode at her any second.”
“Wait… What? Bronze knows!? Since when? Don’t tell me she knew before I did!”
“Oh, Ale.”
I roll my eyes in exasperation. This girl never ceases to amaze me with her sudden mood shifts. Lucy, watching this unfold, smiles in amusement, probably noticing my frustration.
“I hope for your sake I knew before her,” she says, barely containing her laughter. “I’d be really offended if I didn’t.”
Lucy exaggerates the gesture, placing her hand over her heart to accompany her words. I respond to her joke with a middle finger. Then, I continue gathering my last belongings into my bag. I barely have time to grab anything before I find myself unceremoniously sprawled on my bed. I try to get up, but she quickly pins me down, leaving me unable to move. I recognize Lucy by her long brown hair tickling the tip of my nose.
"I'm not your friend here, so do that again and you'll regret it," she whispers in my ear. "Did I make myself clear?"
I groan, struggling against her unpleasant hold. All I manage is to tighten her grip on my wrists and legs. Her body traps me completely.
"Did I make myself clear?" she repeats. "You don't get to disrespect me like that."
"I understand. Let me go now," I plead. "I won't do it again."
My plea works. She gets up, releasing me. I stay on the mattress for a moment, regaining my senses with my eyes closed. Damn bad memories. I eventually get up, putting my headphones and phone in my bag. I gather my courage when it's time to face them. I don't even have time to react before Alexia pulls me into a hug.
"You better make sure to come for New Year's."
"I'll keep you posted. Have a good holiday."
"You too, sweetheart."
She kisses my cheek, lingering. I kiss her back before grabbing my luggage and leaving with my supervisor. She's the one taking me to the airport today, so I can't really avoid her right now. I’ve been out of it since we started walking. I haven't even looked at her yet. It's her arm around my shoulders that brings me back to reality.
"Hey. Is everything okay?"
"Hmm."
"Don't lie to me."
"I'm not lying."
"Is it about earlier? You've been acting strange since then."
"No," I mumble.
"Ona," she scolds me.
"Okay, fine. Maybe," I admit.
"Sorry, I had to act. Being here, we're sort of teaching you to enter the working world. If it had been your boss, you would have been fired. I'm not your friend here."
"I know, it's fine. I won't do it again."
"Tell me what's bothering you. Did I cross a line? I know very well that you have a problem with physical contact."
"How—"
"I notice your behaviors," she cuts me off. "I observe you, you know. You hesitated for a long time before letting me help you shower the first time. And you only allow closeness to people you trust or feel close to."
So she's been observing me… She must have noticed it a long time ago. I sigh, shaking my head. She knows I care about her. The only people whose touch I allow here are Alexia and her. It's unsettling to know she knows. She ruffles my hair.
"Sorry. I can't help it," she says with a soft smile.
"It's no problem…," I murmur.
We arrive at her car in silence. She parked it in the same outdoor lot as last time. We load the car, then hit the road. The music breaks the silence that had formed. I hum along to relax the atmosphere, and certainly to relax myself as well. When we arrive at the airport, she takes the time to help me and accompany me to the boarding gate, just like last time. It feels like a new, very pleasant routine is forming.
"Take advantage of the holidays to rest and clear your head. You need it after these last few weeks."
"That was my plan."
"Try not to forget me, either."
"That's not likely," I chuckle.
The intercom, which I now know by heart, calls me to order. I bite my lip as I look at Lucy. I don’t know how to say goodbye. She answers my question by pulling me into a hug.
"I'm going to miss you," I whisper.
"Write to me if you need anything."
"Can I write to you even if I don’t?" I ask, making her laugh.
"Of course. I'll respond as long as you don't overdo it. Send me a message when you arrive."
She surprises me by kissing my forehead. I close my eyes to savor this little moment before reluctantly pulling away from her.
"Have a great holiday."
"Thanks, you too," she replies with a smirk.
I head to the boarding gate. I use the waiting time to pull out my headphones and phone. When I reach the turn, I look back one last time to see if Lucy is still there. Seeing that she is, I give her one final wave before continuing to board the plane. I find the flight attendant I’ve befriended on previous flights. I greet her with a smile before taking my seat. And so it begins—two hours of flight ahead.
Friday, December 18; 11:00 PM - Barcelona Airport
I'm woken up by the young flight attendant who seems to enjoy taking care of me. We chatted a bit during the flight. I learned that her name is Shay. She asked me what I do for a living to be making so many trips back and forth across the continent. I answered that it’s for my studies without elaborating further. She’s really nice. As I exit the plane, I wish her a happy holiday. It's now time to meet Hector and Mapi. I smile when I see them. Mapi jumps into my arms the second she can. I hug her as tightly as I can. I quickly notice that she hasn’t bothered to wear makeup. That’s a sign she’s really not doing well. It’s rare for her not to put make up on. I wrap my arm around her shoulders before moving towards Hector, whom I greet with a big smile.
On the way back, Mapi didn’t want to talk, so I just kept her in my arms. That seemed to suit her. I took advantage of the quiet to notify Alexia and Lucy of my arrival. When we arrive at the house, I relieve Hector of his duties, telling him not to bother with my suitcase. I’ll take care of it myself tomorrow when the time comes. For now, I just want to get to my room as quickly as possible with Mapi. When we get there, I'm surprised but pleased not to see Joan. I would have liked to see him, but at least this way I can take care of my best friend properly. She remains very quiet. She sits on my bed while I find us some t-shirts to use as pajamas in my closet. She changes in the room while I go to the bathroom. I should shower, but I’ve decided to do that in the morning when Mapi will probably still be asleep.
Once ready, I return to the room to find Mapi under the covers. I glance at my phone, where I notice messages, but I decide to ignore them. I’ll respond tomorrow. I lie down next to Mapi, who immediately snuggles into my arms. I gently hold her, stroking her hair. It’s been a long time since we’ve been this close in bed. Lately, Joan was sleeping between us. Lucy was right about my issues with physical contact. The only people I can sleep with since I came back are Joan and Mapi. I’ve never tried with anyone else, but I know I wouldn’t be able to. My thoughts are interrupted by pressure on my lips. In a moment of panic, I push Mapi away to end the kiss.
"S-sorry," she stammers.
"What was that?" I ask, not delicately.
I can’t control my tone, taken aback by the surprise. I calm down when I see tears at the corners of her eyes. She’s so distraught.
« Map—"
"I'm sorry, I didn’t mean to! I just needed comfort. I don’t know what came over me."
"Okay, hey, calm down. It’s not that serious..."
I relax and open my arms for her to come back to me. This time, I think it’s for real. She clings to my t-shirt, soaking it without restraint. I take a deep breath and kiss the top of her head.
"It’s okay, let it all out," I whisper.
I hold her a little tighter as she finally lets her sobs go. It was about time she broke down. I stroke her back to reassure her.
"You’ll find someone else, Maps..."
"You don’t understand! You’re the first person I got serious with. When you left, I knew it would be hard to get into a new relationship."
"Map—"
"No, let me finish," she interrupts. "I trusted her and opened my heart to her again! She knew all about our history without knowing who you were. If she had dumped me for a reason, I would have understood, but no. That bitch couldn’t find anything better to do than cheat on me with your damn ex! I don’t even know who I should be angry with! What did I do to that puta to ruin all my relationships?"
I tense up, realizing who she’s talking about without her needing to name her. An inexplicable rage wells up inside me. But I quickly calm down when I see Mapi’s tear-filled eyes staring into mine. I feel so small.
"I-I’m so sorry," I say.
"It’s not your fault," she shakes her head.
"No, really. I want to apologize for what I did to you. I left you for someone else. I chose the easy way out instead of fighting against my depression, fighting for us."
I knew she had a hard time dealing with our breakup. It’s the first time we’ve talked about it since we reconnected. Of course, I had already apologized for leaving, but I had never apologized for breaking up. Her eyes soften.
"Ona..." she whispers.
"I-I feel so guilty for hurting you so much," I continue, my voice breaking. "If I hadn’t been a coward, maybe we’d still be together now. You deserved and still deserve so much better. You have no right to feel bad about all this crap. If anyone deserves happiness, it’s you!"
She smiles softly before snuggling back into me. I rest my head against hers, feeling relieved to have gotten this off my chest. It’s something I should have done a long time ago.
"I never blamed you, Ona... You may have made bad choices, but I understood them all with time. All that mattered to me was getting you back as a friend because I missed you terribly."
"I missed you so much too, Mapi. There wasn’t a moment I didn’t think about you."
"The best thing I ever did was write to you on your birthday a year ago. If I’d known it would bring you back, I would have contacted you sooner," she giggles.
"I might not have reacted the same way if you’d done it earlier..."
"Doesn’t matter. What’s important is that you’re here now and that you’re trying to get better... By the way, reassure me," she says, sitting up. "You don’t want anything more than friendship between us, right?"
"You’re the one asking me that?" I chuckle. "I’m not the one who kissed you five minutes ago."
"Yeah, well, um... I’m sorry about that little lapse... I was just upset. I wasn’t thinking about more. I really appreciate the new relationship we’ve built. I feel like we’ve become inseparable."
I smile at her and nod. She’s right. We were already close, but it was different. We were younger and bolder. I already saw myself spending my life with her, traveling the world. We’ve grown up since then, matured even. Right now, I don’t feel quite like an adult yet, even though I should start becoming one at my age. However, if I’ve learned anything in recent years, it’s that I shouldn’t distance myself from people like Mapi. Our feelings for each other have evolved, but that doesn’t stop us from being close. She’s become indispensable to me. If something were to happen between us again, in my opinion, it should have been when I returned. But that would have been selfish of me, knowing that I was the one who left her. So I simply accepted the friendship she offered me. It wasn’t a negligible support given the situation I was in when I came back home. It was probably the best decision of my life. I believe that even more now, seeing where we are today. Inseparable, that’s the word. If there’s one thing I don’t want, it’s to lose her or hurt her again.
"We are," I murmur. "I don’t want our relationship to change."
She smiles at me before nestling her head into my neck. She lets out a contented sigh. Yeah, this situation couldn’t be better; we both know it. We won’t abandon each other again, no matter the circumstances.
- "No offense, but I never liked Ana," I admitted.
- "I knew that," she chuckled softly. "Why don’t you ever tell me these things?"
- "She was your girlfriend, and you seemed happy. As long as you’re happy, I don’t care who you’re with, and I’ll support you no matter what. But don’t be too upset that this relationship didn’t work out. I know it’s painful, but I’m sure you’ll find the right person when the time is right."
- "Hmm, not right now, at least. I’d rather take a step back."
- "I forbid you from going back to your one-night stands," I grumbled.
- "That wasn’t my intention. I think I really need to find myself, you know?"
- "Yeah…" I sighed.
A soothing silence settled between us. This conversation had been quite enriching. Mapi was finally relaxed. I could hear her gentle, steady breathing. Unfortunately, my curiosity risked breaking this moment of peace.
- "How did she meet Feli?" I asked gently.
- "I get the feeling she’s been coming to my parties more and more, like she’s looking for you."
- "Oh..."
- "I don’t even know who’s to blame between the two of them," she growled. "I think I hate them both. Anyway, enough talking," she said, sitting up. "You’ve got two weeks to distract me! How about we start by going to the amusement park tomorrow? I bought tickets. We’ll bring Joan; he’ll love it."
- "Why not, sure. I have a suggestion for you too. I was going to wait to ask, but now that you’ve brought it up, this might be the best way to get you out of here."
- "Well, I’m listening. What do you propose, Onita?"
- "My group of friends from school is celebrating New Year’s together in Manchester. They’re inviting us to join them... Alexia really wants to meet you, and I really want to go... Please, say yes!"
- "Alexia, huh? She’s the one who’s taken my place over there, admit it! Or no, wait. Even better, it’s Bronze!"
- "Don’t be ridiculous," I rolled my eyes. "No one can take your place, silly. Come on, it would be the best way to meet my new friends. I’m sure you’ll love them."
- "I don’t know…" she pretended to think. "I’m sure you’ll abandon me and leave me on my own all night."
- "Liar," I giggled. "We both know it’ll be you who abandons me as soon as you feel comfortable."
- "Yeah... You’re probably right."
She laughed heartily, making me smile. Maybe I’m not so bad at cheering people up after all. At least I managed to make her laugh.
- "You’re so silly. My answer was already yes as soon as you asked. We’ve got nothing left to do here anyway. And we’re not risking a night out if Feli is after you."
- "Yeah..."
- "Plus, I’ll finally get to meet your new friends. It’s an opportunity not to be missed, right?"
- "Uh-huh," I said with a smile.
- "Can I meet your supervisor too, since we’ll be in Manchester ? I’d like to see what she looks like."
- "How would we do that? I have no contact with her outside of school."
- "You’ve got her number."
- "So? She’s not my friend, she’s my supervisor. She wouldn’t want to."
- "Oh come on, there’s definitely more between you two, considering how she took care of you during your withdrawal and flu. She even gave you private tutoring sessions for your exams. We all know what ‘private tutoring’ means these days," she said, miming air quotes.
- "Good Lord, Maps," I protested. "That’s not it at all!"
She burst out laughing at my reaction. I didn’t find her implication very funny. If I’m getting comments like this here, what must the students at school be thinking? I’m starting to regret telling her everything.
- "Get that idea out of your head," I grimaced. "And don’t you dare say anything like that in front of others when we’re in Manchester."
- "Oh my God, that’s right... We’re actually going there."
This girl exasperates me. She never thinks things through. Sometimes I wonder how she managed to get to her third year in mechanical engineering. I’m not going to complain because it’s her carefree attitude that saved me. Without her crazy plans, I’d probably still be moping in bed every evening after coming home from rehab.
- "But, but, how are we going to do this? I don’t have the money to buy a ticket!"
- "Calm down," I chuckled. "I’ll pay for the trip. Consider it part of your Christmas gift."
- "I can’t accept that."
- "It wasn’t an option. I have a yearly pass, so I get tickets cheaper, and it’s my mom’s money anyway, so I’m not the one directly paying," I shrugged.
- "Alright... By the way, speaking of Christmas..."
- "Yeah?"
- "My parents left to visit family for two weeks. I was supposed to spend the holidays with Ana and her family... She wanted to officially introduce me."
- "Oh... Well, you can stay here. At least I won’t have to endure my fake family alone."
She giggled immediately. "You’ve never accepted them."
- "Whose fault is that?"
- "Let’s not talk about things that upset us. I don’t want us to argue right now."
- "A very good idea. I’ll tell Sam to set an extra plate for you."
- "Are you sure it won’t be a problem?"
- "Of course not. You already know everyone anyway. I don’t care if they complain. My mom won’t say no after our last conversation."
- "What conversation?" she frowned.
- "Nothing important. We argued when we talked about my withdrawal. I kind of hinted that she never trusted me."
- "You didn’t tell me about that..."
- "No, I only briefly mentioned it to Bronze. I didn’t really want to talk about it."
- "Hmm, Bronze, huh!"
- "Stop it," I groaned. "You win, it’s time to sleep."
- "I was joking," she chuckled.
- "Well, it’s not funny."
I turned over to turn off the light and lay down, ready to sleep. But Mapi didn’t seem to get the message as she climbed right over me to turn my lamp back on. I groaned to show my annoyance.
- "What now?" I grumbled.
- "It was a joke! I didn’t know you were so sensitive."
- "I’m not sensitive," I sighed. "I’m just already tired of the rumors at school. I don’t need you adding to them here. There’s nothing between us, OK? She just gives me everything that no one else ever has, that’s all. That’s the only reason she’s special to me. I’m not interested in her in the way you think."
- "Alright, sorry. I won’t tease you about it anymore."
- "Thanks."
I grumbled when she climbed over me again to turn off the light. She snuggled up against me, trying to find a comfortable position. I smiled at this.
- "Mapi. You know I don’t like sleeping on my back, right?"
She groaned in frustration, realizing I wasn’t planning to stay in this position just after she’d found hers.
- "Fine... But can I still sleep in your arms, or is that too much to ask?"
- "Of course you can."
I rolled onto my side and opened my arms. She nestled into them, making sure to tuck her head into my neck. It had been a long time since we’d slept so closely together. I have to admit, I missed it. We finally wished each other good night, and I drifted off with a small smile on my face.

How The Fuck Do Classes At Aguefort Work
AKA Brennan gave me a number of students for this school and I am going to use my expert knowledge of being a teacher in real life to extrapolate things
(disclaimer: i am australian and thus my knowledge is limited to the australian school system of how things are arranged, number of students in each class, etc. this is basically how I would organise aguefort if it were up to me)
SO
aguefort has approximately 500 students split across four year levels, making for about 125 per year level, which you could easily split into 5 'homeroom' classes of about 25 students each. Or 31-32 if you wanted to squish them into 4.
But the thing is, we have all the DND Classes to think about, with each class having its own dedicated teacher and specialist class. There are 12 standard dnd subclasses, plus we know that artificer is also an option, making 13.
It's unlikely that any particular year level has all of its students evenly split between those classes (it would be an average of 9-10 per class if they did, which is quite small for a single class, but not unheard of for (using a real life example) elective subjects like business or design tech)
ADDITIONALLY, we do know that 'regular' classes exist at aguefort, like history and home ec, so I'm assuming other typical subjects like maths, english, science (perhaps broken down into chem/bio/physics, maybe not), maybe PE as well for students that aren't part of one of the martial classes, among other things.
Most likely, the school day is arranged so that each student (assuming this student has a typical workload, AKA nothing absolutely bonkers like what the bad kids are doing in junior year) has at least one Class-Specific class per day, and then some general education ones as well, and then perhaps some more adventuring-focused classes like survival + archery or arcana.
That way each class-specific teacher should be able to fit one lesson with each year level a day, because those classes are probably considered far more important than like. Modern History.
DND-Class classes are likely much smaller and more individualised, and then general ed classes would be with a far bigger group.
I also think Aguefort has a lot of composite classes! Particularly for the less popular Dnd-Classes. Freshman+Sophomores together and then Juniors+Seniors together is probably the most common.
I think sorcery classes are often composites, partly because its one that students Literally have to be born to be able to do, so its not one that other students can multiclass Into, so its numbers probably fluctuate a bunch depending on the cohort.
More technical classes like artificer are probably also composites! Simply because I bet they're less popular than things like Fighters, Rogues, so on.
Bards are also absolutely composites, because they are already split within themselves with multiple teachers depending on the students particular focus (like we did with a separate Music class and Dance class with different bard teachers). So I wouldn't be surprised if some bard classes contain freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors all within the one class and still only have like, ten students total because they're that specialised.
I think combined classes also probably happen on a fairly regular basis. Esp if like, teachers call in sick. The fighters will go join the barbarians for a day, or the clerics will join the paladins.
And then of course they don't actually give a shit if you show up to your classes or not so theres probably some poor admin staff out there who painstakingly arranges every schedule at the start of each semester and then 80% of students ignore half of it anyway

Hello. I'm writing fanfiction and I'm very thankful for your blog, it is helping me alot.
So one problem I'm finding in my writing is that paragraphs don't feel "flowy", they feel "choppy" and dull. Like there isn't a flow between the sentences, and it feels like they are shoved together. Here are examples from my writing to make it clearer:
1.In his 25 years of life, Sara was the only woamn to occupy his heart and mind. Every woman looked dull in comparison to the divine torrent that was her. She had full possesion of him, and she didn't even know it.
2.And today was his first event as a teacher. The event was taking place in 'X school' this year, but he was sure next year it will be in 'Y school'. He trained his students well enough to beat 'Y's' students.
Did you feel what I'm talking about? Or is it all in my head?
Writing Feels Choppy/Not Flowing
It's hard to tell overall flow from a few snippets, and when a paragraph is separated from the rest of the narrative, it can be difficult to tell whether something is an issue or is clarified in the surrounding context. Here are some potential issues, though, if it helps to give you an idea of what to watch out for to make things feel less clunky. Just keep in mind, this is my subjective interpretation with limited context, so use your best judgment if it feels it doesn't apply:
Paragraph #1 - "In his 25 years of life, Sara was the only woamn to occupy his heart and mind." This is probably clearer with the surrounding context, but as a snippet, going from the pronoun "his" to the name "Sara" was immediately confusing. But, as long as it's clear who "he" is prior to this sentence, it's fine.
"the divine torrent that was her..."
This is certainly an evocative description, but without any context it feels a little clunky. As long as there is context for why he'd think of her as a "divine torrent" and what that means to him when he describes her that way, it should be fine.
"She had full possession of him, and she didn't even know it."
I see what you're trying to do here, but "full possession" feels a bit heavy in a paragraph that otherwise feels like it's trying to be romantic. So, I think that lack of tone agreement makes it feel a bit clunky. If that's your intention, to illustrate a love that has obsessive and even dangerous qualities, that's fine. Otherwise, you might consider rewording to something that fits the romantic tone a bit more, something like: "She held his soul completely, yet she didn’t even realize it." Paragraph #2 - "And today was his first event as a teacher. The event was taking place in 'X school' this year, but he was sure next year it will be in 'Y school'. He trained his students well enough to beat 'Y's' students."
Using a present tense word like "today" or "now" in the past tense is tricky. It doesn't work great here because we go from the present tense "today" to past progressive "was taking place" to past "he was sure" and "he trained," so it's kind of all over the place. Also, using both "today" and "this year" to refer to the event in question is confusing. Also, it's confusing that he's at the event at X school today, but he's focused on his students beating the students of Y school next year, at an event that hasn't even been decided for sure yet. You could shore things up a bit by doing something like:
"Today's event, which was his first as a teacher, was taking place at X school. They had the best team in the state, so he knew the odds of his students winning were slim. He was sure next year the event would be held at Y school, and he was confident his students were trained well enough to beat Y school's team." So, some general tips:
1 - Make sure the sentence/paragraph makes sense within the surrounding context. 2 - Make sure you have tense agreement within the sentence/paragraph. 3 - Make sure your evocative descriptions have meaning.
4 - When using pronouns rather than names, make sure the subject (who the pronoun belongs to) is clear.
5 - If your character should be focused on the present events, make sure their thoughts and feelings are relevant to what's happening.
Happy writing!

Time for a little brain break! I'll come back to How the Web Was Woven soon!
Lover Doll: A Danny Fisher Story
A/N: I know this is like the least creative name for a Danny Fisher (from King Creole) fic but whatever lol. This is a dirty (and borderline inappropriate oops) little thing I wrote just for the hell of it. Hopefully some of y'all enjoy it. I like to imagine this is where Danny gets his affection for older women 🤭
Warnings: 18+ minors DNI!, inappropriate relationship (BUT EVERYONE IS OF LEGAL AGE), kissing, cussing, fingering, oral sex (f & m receiving), p in v penetrative sex, unprotected sex, swallowing
Word count: ~2.5k
Unfamiliar with Danny? Here ya go:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were nervous to start teaching in the beginning, but by your third year you'd settled into your position fairly well. At 25, you finally felt like you had enough years between you and your high school students to make your authority legitimate.
And then they transferred Danny Fisher into your class. Danny had struggled in school, so he hadn't graduated when he was supposed to. That meant he was 19 when he sauntered into your math class and sat at the back. His heavily-lidded eyes and flyaway hair were enough to make you swoon, but you tried to look away.
He ignores you for the most part, until you call him by name to answer a question. You're determined to treat him just like any other student, despite the way your stomach flip flops when you look at him.
"Aw, Miss, I don't-" Just then he glances up and makes eye contact with you. Your cheeks flush and he loses the second half of his sentence. A couple of seconds pass and you realize what's happening.
"Never mind, Danny. Anyone else know the answer?" Class continues like normal until the bell rings at the end. He's in your last class of the day, so you're prepared to drop into your chair once all the kids leave, but he stays behind.
"Miss, you got a second?"
"Sure, Danny. What do you need?" You ask, heart in your throat.
"I didn't know teachers could be so young."
"Oh. Well, yes, I suppose."
"And pretty." You feel the blush rise in your cheeks again.
"Did you have a question?" He seems to be searching for something he can ask.
"Can you help me with those equations from earlier?" He smiles and his dimple catches you completely off guard. Then, he sits down at a desk in the front of the room and opens his math textbook.
"Oh, sure, Danny." Without thinking, you lean over the desk to see which questions he's talking about. When you do, he can see down the front of your dress. He takes a quick peek and then looks away, clearing his throat. You realize what just happened and stand up as quickly as possible. Now it's his turn to blush. He stands up from the desk holding his book in front of his lap, you suspect in an effort to hide himself.
"I have to get to work. We'll have to look at the equations another time." He smiles again and hurries from your room. When the door closes behind him, you can't help but laugh.
******
You continue this way for a month, with him staying after school as often as possible for tutoring. But what starts as a mild flirtation gets stronger and stronger every time.
At one point he accidentally calls you "honey" when he gets frustrated with a question. He instantly apologizes, but you just laugh. Secretly, you love it and wish he would do it again.
You know it's wrong. He's your student. But he's also a grown man and your reaction to him is uncontrollable. You're used to 17-year-old boys who are basically big toddlers. Danny is only two years older than that, but he's worked more hours than you have. Nothing about him feels like a boy.
******
One day, you stand looking out the classroom window while he's at the blackboard. You're feeling particularly sorry for yourself and the situation you're in with him. The attraction is undeniable, but nothing will ever come of it. He notices that you seem sad today, so he puts the chalk down and walks up behind you. He stands close enough for you to feel his breath on your neck. You can tell by the way he stands there that he wants to touch you, to put his arms around your waist or his hands on your hips, but he doesn't. Not yet.
"You alright, Miss y/l/n?" You take a deep breath before answering him. You wish he would touch you.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just..." You turn to face him and he's even closer than you thought. You look up into his face. All he would have to do is lean down a few inches and his lips would be on yours.
"Can I..." His eyes flick down to your mouth. You're just about to tell him yes when he leans in just enough and presses his lips to yours gently. His hands shake a little, but he reaches out and puts them on your hips. He pulls back for a second, checking to make sure you don't want him to stop and then kisses you again, more passionately this time, sliding his hands back behind you and pulling your body in close to his. You break the kiss and pull back away from him.
"Danny, wait. This is wrong."
"Wrong? It doesn't feel wrong?"
"I'm your teacher." You look down at your feet.
"Hey." He tips your chin up with his hand and looks into your eyes. "Listen. You're a woman. I'm a man. This feels right to me. Does it feel right to you?"
"Yes." You nod. "But that doesn't mean it is."
"Y/n... can I call you by your name?" You nod again. "Y/n, you make me feel things I've never felt before. That can't be wrong."
"Oh, yes it can. Surely you know..." Then a thought occurs to you. You look at him with your head cocked to the side. Then, you walk backwards away from him and perch on the edge of your desk.
"Danny, you say I make you feel things you've never felt before. Have you ever been with a woman?" You try to look into his eyes but he avoids you. He looks down and tries to hide the fact that he's blushing.
"No." He answers with a tone of slight annoyance. Then he looks back up into your face. "But that doesn't mean I can't or won't. I want to. I want to be with you."
"Oh, Danny. I'm just not sure that's a good idea. I am your teacher-"
"Then teach me." He wraps himself around you again and kisses you deeply, his tongue sliding into your mouth. "Teach me, please." He whispers when he pulls back from the kiss.
Your eyes flick between his and you want nothing more than to say yes. Your body is screaming at you to kiss him again and rip his clothes off. You know it's wrong, but you're not sure if you care anymore. Can something that feels so right really be wrong?
Finally, you nod and he looks at you eagerly. His hands go to your hips and he pushes against you as he kisses you passionately. He kisses down your neck and reaches behind you to unzip your dress. He pulls the top of your dress down so that you're only in your bra from the waist up. You push his t-shirt up and over his head and off. His chest has the smallest patch of soft hair and you're reminded how young he is. But just when you're about to back out again, he pulls your hips away from the desk and lets your dress fall to the floor at your feet. Now you stand there in nothing but your bra and panties. He takes you in slowly and looks at you hungrily like he might devour you if he could.
You nervously glance at the classroom door. It's closed and you know that by now the building is empty. And then a thought occurs to you.
"Don't you have to be at work soon?"
"No." He responds firmly and dives into a deep kiss, his hands running up and down your body. They tremble slightly, but he hopes you ignore it as he slides them up to hold your breasts. You reach down and feel his hard cock pressing against his jeans. When you touch him, he backs out of the kiss and whimpers a bit.
"Danny, do you know what happens next?" You ask quietly as you stroke him. He grunts and nods.
"Yes, I do."
As if to show you that he does, he slips his fingers, still slightly trembling, under the waistband of your panties and pushes one finger into you. You moan softly as he adds a second finger and pumps them in and out of you slowly.
"Yes, don't stop." You whisper. He nods and keeps working his hand as you close your eyes and continue to stroke him through his pants. After a few more seconds, you use both hands to undo his zipper and push them down his legs. He steps out of them and you look at him in just his underwear with his hand in your panties. He might be 19 and a virgin, but his body is that of a man and it elicits a physical response from you that he can feel with his fingers. He smiles and kisses your shoulder gently.
You reach back and undo your bra, letting it drop to the floor. He stops moving his hand for a second as he takes in your naked breasts. You put your hand back on him and feel his cock twitch. He whimpers again.
"I want to kiss you, but not on your lips."
"Where, then?"
"Everywhere." He looks into your eyes almost pleadingly.
"Then kiss me, Danny." He kisses your mouth once before leaving a trail of hot kisses on your neck down to your chest. He runs his tongue in a circle around one nipple and ghosts his lips across your skin to the other one, pulling it into his mouth gently. But he doesn't stop there. He gets on his knees and kisses down your stomach, pulling his fingers out of you and dragging your panties down your legs. Then, he leans you back against the desk a little and spreads your legs, kissing your center. He leans his forehead against your lower stomach.
"I've never done this before. How do I... what do you...?"
"Just kiss me. With your tongue. Here." You put your finger on your clit and rub it in circles, so he will know what to do. He nods and leans forward again, pressing his mouth to you. He begins to move his tongue over and around your clit and you have to bite your lower lip to keep from crying out.
"Like this?"
"God, yes, don't stop!" He smiles and presses a finger into you again while he licks you. He pumps his finger in and out while he moves his tongue feverishly on your clit. You feel the coil of your orgasm tighten in your belly and he keeps on licking you. The coil snaps and you gasp.
"Yes! Yes! Oh, Danny, yes!" You moan as quietly as you can, while you come hard in his mouth. He feels your walls flutter and pulse around his fingers.
"W-w-was that good?" He looks up at you from his place between your legs and you almost melt.
"Yes!" He smiles and kisses your hip and then stands up, wiping his face with his hand. You push his underwear down and watch his cock bounce free. He closes his eyes and bites his bottom lip when you reach out and palm his dick, sliding his foreskin back.
"You're sure this is what you want, Danny?" His eyes pop open and he looks at you desperately.
"Honey, I've never wanted anything more." He lifts you by the hips and sets you on the desk. You pull his hips in between your legs and line him up with your entrance. He holds you and pushes into you slowly, grunting when he fills you fully. His cock is bigger than you expected and you moan at the sensation of him hitting the most sensitive place inside you. He pulls back and pushes into you again deeply. Then, he picks up the pace a little and starts to slam his hips into you passionately. Your breasts bounce with his rhythm and he leans down and kisses your chest again while he fucks into you.
"Yes, honey, goddamn, that feels good." He puts his hand on the side of your neck and runs his thumb over your lips. His hips pound into yours over and over, his cock sliding in and out of you rhythmically. He looks down at the place where you're connected and groans. The sight of himself moving in and out of you is enough to almost push him over the edge. But you're not finished with him yet.
"Oh, no honey, what're you doing?"
You push him backwards out of you and then around to the chair on the other side of the desk. He falls into the chair and you crawl on top of him, one leg on either side of him, and sink down onto his dick with your hands on his shoulders. "Oh." He moans breathlessly as you begin to bounce on him. His hands go to your breasts, squeezing them gently and teasing your nipples with his thumb and fingers.
"Do you like this, Danny?" You ask, your voice dripping with desire like the sweetest honey. He nods and whimpers, leaning forward to kiss your neck.
"Yes, I love it." He whispers as he nuzzles you just below your ear. You switch to rolling your hips, pushing him deeper and deeper inside you. He puts his hands on your hips while you ride him. "'M bout to come, doll."
You stand up off of him and he whines desperately.
"No..."
But then you get on your knees and put your mouth around his cock and he inhales sharply. You bounce your mouth on him vigorously and then pull all of him into you, letting him hit the back of your throat.
"Oh, fuck, y/n!" He cries out as he comes hard in your mouth and you swallow it down. You lick around the head of his cock one last time and then stand up. He pulls you down into his lap and cups your face in his hand.
"Honey, that was..." You smile and he kisses you softly. He presses his forehead to yours. "Thank you."
You sit there like that naked together for a while before you speak again.
"Danny, we can't tell anyone about this."
"I know. We can do it again sometime, though, right?"
"I don't know. We probably shouldn't have done it this time."
"Shhh." He holds your face again. "Yes, we should've. You mean more to me than just this. I think I'm fallin' for you." You feel the tears gather in your eyes.
"Oh, Danny..."
"I am. So stop sayin' it's wrong." You kiss him again and he holds you tightly. Finally, you stand up and start to gather your clothes, tears falling down your face silently.
"Why're you cryin', doll?" He stands up and you look into his eyes.
"Because I'm falling for you too." He wraps you in his arms again and you cry against his chest. You know that nothing can come from this, but right now, he's yours and you're his.
In this moment, nothing else matters.

Wish is just a normal Disney film just like all the rest.
Wish is actually a damn good movie, there I said it!
I'm going to start by saying this much, it's very odd to me that so many people are now screaming for a love story from Disney, when not even five or ten years ago there was shouting from the roof tops about Disney doing TOO MUCH romance. For the longest time it was "I wish Disney wouldn't do pairings" "Ugh another romance, can't the princess not." Etc. Now everyone wants one, even though Romance isn't really as big a Disney trope as people think.
Actually let's go through the animated catalogue and see how frequently the love story is centered as the main conflict and asperation to the character. In this case it's the key thing, not a 'Oh they happen to like each other in the end' situation, it's THE thing, the point of the movie is their romance. Then let's see how many have it as the secondary aspect, and let's see how many have it as not important at all. (And we're talking romantic love, not family love)
Romance (Total number: 15)
Snow White, Lady and the Tramp, The Aristocats, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Secondary Characters hook up so this is a weird one), Doug's First Movie, Tarzan, Lizzie McGuire the Movie, Enchanted, The Princess and the Frog (Only from Naveen's POV), Tangled (could be seen as secondary too)
Secondary (Total Number: 25)
Fantasia, Bambi, Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free , Melody Time, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, Cinderella Sleeping Beauty
One Hundred and One Dalmatians , Robin Hood, The Rescuers , The Fox and the Hound , Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Rescuers Down under
The Nightmare before Christmas, The Lion King ,Hercules ,Mulan ,Fantasia 2000 , Dinosaur, Atlantis the Lost Empire , Meet the Robinsons , Frankenweenie ,Frozen, , Strange World
Not in it at all (Total Number: 42 -including Wish)
Pinocchio, The Reluctant Dragon, Dumbo, Saludos Amigos, Victory through Air power, Three Caballeros, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan
Sword in the Stone, The Jungle Book, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective
Oliver and Company, Ducktales the Treasure of the lost lamp, A Goofy Movie, James and the Giant Peach, The Tigger Movie
The Emperor's new Groove, Recess School's out, Return to Neverland, Lilo and Stich, Treasure Planet, The Jungle Book 2
Piglet's big Movie, Brother Bear, Teacher's Pet, Home on the Range, Pooh's Heffalump Movie, Chicken Little, The Wild
Bolt, Winnie the Pooh, Wreck it Ralph, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, Moana, Wreck it Ralph 2, Frozen 2, Raya and the Last Dragon, Encanto, Wish
These are just the animated not live action, and not live action with animation movies. All in all it's more common to see a Disney film with NO romance in it at all then a romantic one.
So why is it that people keep saying, but we're missing the romance, it's because of the fact that most of the time the Parks and other media pair the characters together. Take Peter pan, in the movie, the boy is utterly oblivious to Wendy's affections, to the point of pissing her off enough that she leaves the party that the tribe is hosting. In the parks, and other media (the plays, other movies) the romance is in your face, because people want them to be a couple, but in the movie itself you never see it.
Star, based on the making of book, was supposed to be a younger version of Asha's grandfather, which fits the theming of the movie. However, from what I understand, one of the reasons why they went against is was because it was hitting to close to Genie in the shape shifting. On top of that, the character of Star, seems heavily inspired by the art work of William Joyce, who created Night Light.
Tumblr media
This is him and Katherine (Future Mother Goose) who is basically Star in a lot of ways. He lights the night to keep the nightmares away. These two eventually grow up (He remembers He's jack frost) and they end up as a couple.
It would be apping off of that story, and sadly people didn't give the William Joyce movie Meet the Robinsons a chance (don't sleep on that folks please! It is a good story.)
Also straight up give more love to the Guardian's of Childhood, you'll be happy while you read it.
Tumblr media
I'm not saying don't ship it, what I am saying is that please don't go saying this was planned when it really wasn't. That was supposed to be her grandfather there.
And I'm not against the art work, I find it very cute and sweet and lover the designs. But I do think that the whole, "WE WERE ROBBED!" thing isn't being at all fair to the creative team behind this story, as again, *points up* they were following the tradition of a story that doesn't have a love interest, which is the vast majority of the stories that they tell.
Wish perfectly falls in line also with Disney's normal length of animated movies.
Wish was 1 hours and 35 minutes
The movie that came out before it clocked in at
Strange World = 1 hours and 42 minutes
Moana = 1 hours and 47 minutes
Frozen = 1 hours and 42 minutes
This Hour long movie thing started really with Atlantis the Lost Empire = 1 hours and 36 minutes
While Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Mulan, Lilo and Stitch all clock in around =1 hour and 30 at most, some are even less than that. Wish's run time is equal to that of Atlantis, or Aladdin, or Treasure planet. So I'm a bit perplexed on the "It's too short" thing. Maybe growing up just before and during the days of Little Mermaid and Aladdin made me like the shorter tales.
Which is another point. With a shorter movie, you never get complete backstory. It's a fairy tale! I mean, look at Little Mermaid. Seriously can you Name any of her sisters from the opening song.
Tumblr media
Like seriously, I don't really know a lot of people who can tell me anything about Aquatica, for example. Unless you actually read the books or watched the TV show. And before then we had nothing. Nothing on her mom, nothing on her sisters.
Then there's the town Belle comes from, what do we know about it? Not much, not even who governs the damn thing. Howe about Aladdin before the TV series and King of thieves cleared up everything. We didn't know who his parents were, nor Jasmine's mom. Hell we still don't know anything about Cinderella's father from the animated movie.
Point being, a lot of information, much like Wish, got cut for time. In Snow white we were supposed to be given a longer back story for her father and mother, that was cut due to it being to long, it's in the golden book though. Prince Florian (Yes that is his name) was supposed to have Prince Phillips escape, but it was deemed to hard to animate at the time.
Also there was one that was dancing on the clouds, with STARS, around them that looks very much like you know, our Star.
So basically, he's a nod to what could have been for Snow White all those years ago. Cut for time.
Tumblr media
Aladdin had a whole cut song because they chopped his mother out as she was supposed to play a part in the movie and help her son with the Genie.
Tumblr media
Zena is her name and she was cut to streamline the film.
Maid Marian in the original Robin Hood was supposed to protect him after his plunge into the water, and protect him from King John while he's threatening her. King Richard appears in the end and scares him into stopping but she's willing to take a dagger to the chest to protect Robin.
Tumblr media
This is when Richard meets Robin with Marian telling him all about what happened.
All Disney movies change. Isabel in Encanto was supposed to have a nerdy boyfriend that the family disapproved of.
Hell, Frozen was at one point going to be the Bad guy wins the guy, the hero (Gerta) that we followed all the way to the end rooting for her, was supposed to be a gold digger, and Kai was supposed to say "Nah, I'm gonna stick with the Snow Queen" because she's sad and your a bitch. (Thanks Eisner, I hate it!)
So yeah, there's probably A whole lot of cut content that was supposed to go in, but to streamline it to 95 minutes, you have to cut! At least it's not what happened to the Black Cauldron. No I will never forgive Katzenburg for that travesty!
Disney always used Popular Music over Broadway
Honestly this is the one complaint that I hear that kills me the most about this movie, that the studio went with a pop music team. As if this is not a common thing for Disney movies!
Fun fact, the team behind most of the musical scores up until the 1960s were all composers and musicians that wrote songs for the radio. Or song writers that did radio music. If I listed every single one we'd be here for ages.
The Sherman brothers actually wrote pop tunes for the Teen sweetheart Annette Funicello and several other well known singers and actors of movies.
The first major Broadway group was Ashman and Menken, Followed by Miranda, and the Lopez's. Most, if not all of the biggest Disney songs were written by pop songwriters, whos goal it was to get that song played on the radio.
Hell The Lion King, Tarzan, The Emperors New Groove, and Treasure planet to name a few were all done by Pop musicians. I didn't hear complaining about it back then! What's the difference now? Because the team is not Elton freaking John, or Sting?
All of Oliver and Company was pop songs. Several movies didn't have songs, or only had one.
If we're going to celebrate a studio that helped bring an artform out of it's infancy and show that you could do a full movie of animated pictures where you get emotions out of it, we need to celebrate all aspects, and that includes things we may not realize are kind of unique.
When Hercules and Hunchback came out, people complained about them not being "Traditional" Disney. It was Gospel, it was too dark, or in the case of Tarzan, why are we following a boy, or Treasure planet, "Yuck a space story". Now people adore these movies. People who grew up with them want to celebrate them, and sometimes they don't realize that they were once derided as hard or harder than Wish is being right now.
I just wish that people would give these movies a chance rather than not let the creatives tell their story. We had a whole damn section of 2D animation in Strange World! No one talked about it! No one went "More of this please". Give me these stories, let me enjoy a original fairy tale, because if we keep rehashing things, there's going to be little to celebrate when the next 10 or 20 years rolls around.
Sorry for the kinda rant. This has just been on my nerves for a while.

An Informal Guide to Writing about School in Japan
Sorry for posting this so late! Thank you for your patience.
This post should be used as a general reference for when you're writing something that takes place in a Japanese school. I made this because there have been a few stories (and even real articles!) written by people who seem pretty... uninformed about how Japanese schools actually work, but please use this as a framework for your story rather than a complete Bible.
Note: This post is informed by two things - my experience working at Japanese public schools, and being an American. The things I include in this post will be things that stand out to me as someone from the states. That being said, Japanese and American schools operate very differently, so there will be a lot!
A Year Overview
1st semester begins in April, and ends right before summer break in June. 2nd semester begins in late July or August, and ends before winter break in December. 3rd semester begins in January and ends in late March.
There is a very short spring break between 3rd semester and the entrance ceremony in which teachers/staff are told if they will be moving to a new school or not. This is specific to public schools. Academies/private schools likely don't adhere to this exact rule since they're contracted for a certain amount of time.
Grades and Classes
In large schools, each grade is divided by class. Each class has about 25+ students in it depending on the size of the school. In elementary school, junior high school, and high school, classes are either divided by letter or number.
For example, if you are a JHS 2nd year in the 1st class, you will be in 2-1. If you are an ES 5th grader in the B class, you will be in 5-B.
Kindergartens and daycares divide classes differently, and are called things like "Rabbits" or "Lions" - I don't think there's any real meaning behind what animal they choose, though. The word for "class" in Japanese is 組 ("gumi"). When referring to a certain class, we usually just say - using the same examples as above - ichi-gumi (Class 1), B-gumi (Class B), usagi-gumi (Rabbits)
Ages and Years
Elementary school - 1st grade through 6th grade (Ages 7 to 12)
Junior high school - 1st year through 3rd year (in the states, we would call it 7th through 9th grade. Here, they say JHS 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year) (Ages 12 to 15)
High school - 1st year through 3rd year (same note as above, 10th through 12th grade) (Ages 15 to 18)
Homerooms
As stated above, each grade is split up into sections, called homeroom classes. In JHS and HS, a teacher will be in charge of one homeroom class as well as one main subject. Not all teachers have their own classrooms (depending on the size of the school, sometimes you have more subjects to teach than students!) but most of them do. However, that doesn't mean there is a dedicated "math room" or "English room" - instead, teachers will move to different classes, and students stay in their homeroom. In elementary school, your homeroom teacher will typically teach every subject. Of course, there is a teacher per subject per year. For example, if you're in a mid-sized junior high school, there would be 3 English teachers.
Between classes, students have a 10 minute break or so. This is so students can use the restroom and drink water (they can't do it during class) as well as prepare their materials for the incoming teacher. Class leaders will also go to the teacher's office and will sometimes be tasked with carrying materials to class or preparing something separately (like turning on the projector, the TV, getting white boards, etc.)
School Subjects
Besides the core subjects (English, social studies, math, science, Japanese, P.E.), Japanese schools also have calligraphy and home economics.
Homeroom teachers will also be asked to teach sougo (interdisciplinary studies) and moral education. I believe sougo is a fairly new subject that was added to Japanese curriculum a little over 20 years ago - from my understanding it's kind of like a psychology, economics, and sociology class all wrapped up into one. Moral education, on the other hand, has been described as "very Japanese" by all of my coworkers - it's like a "here's how we follow the rules", "here's how to be polite", "here's why having good behavior is beneficial for everyone" type of class.
Japanese schools also do not offer advanced classes. All students are expected to take the same class unless they have been put in the special needs classes for learning disabilities, mental health problems, or behavioral issues. Special needs classes tend to be taught at a lower level and sometimes a mix of grades as well. Special needs students "belong" to a specific class (like, 1-1 or 2-B...) but they study in separate, smaller classrooms (sometimes just called Special Needs 1, Special Needs 2...) Some students who need special care but are willing/able to join regular classes will have a support teacher with them. One of my students is partially deaf and needs careful instruction but can otherwise sit and participate in class like everyone else.
The Teachers Office
All teachers' desks are in the teachers' office. There, we prepare for class, have meetings, take a short break, drink coffee... etc. - and teachers who do not have a homeroom class also eat lunch there. Typically, all teachers who are in charge of the same grade will sit together.
Students are allowed in the teachers' office, but they have to state their name, their grade, class, and their purpose for coming. An example would be: "Excuse me. I'm Momo Taro from Class 3-2. I've come to see Kaguya-sensei. Excuse me."
Then, when they leave, they have to say: "Pardon me" (失礼いたしました). Some of my students get in trouble if they don't announce themselves properly or make a mistake in front of the wrong teacher!
And, a small bit about teachers' names
There are some Japanese last names that are extremely common. Did anyone see that article that claimed everyone in Japan will have the same last name by 2531? Funny stuff.
That's why a few teachers go by their first name. It's not rude at all when half of your staff is Suzuki and the other half is Sato.
Teachers, of course, follow the same formalities that students do by using [Name]-sensei with each other. It would actually be considered highly HIGHLY inappropriate to refer to another teacher with -san or -chan in school - unless you're extremely close and just joking around...AND you're both female...a male teacher would not survive doing that.
A Typical School Day
It varies, but schools often start around 8:10 or 8:30 in the morning, and students go home around 4. There are typically 6 periods in a day, with an hour break in the middle of the day to account for lunch and recess - yes, junior high school and high school students get recess, too! Though, older students often use it to study or have a meeting with their club. At my school, my students are required to read in the morning.
Students are really busy and have jobs around the school. There are class leaders - who come to the teacher's office to ask what needs to be prepared for class - and there are students who run the morning, lunch, cleaning ("souji"), and end of the day broadcast, and students who are in charge of grabbing and setting up school lunch in the classroom. Of course, there are club leaders and student council as well.
Uniforms (students)
Uniforms are required for both public and private schools in Japan. Some elementary schools do not require uniforms, and others do. It's extremely rare to find a JHS or HS that doesn't require uniforms, but they exist.
Some schools are more strict than others. The main points are: no piercings, no makeup, no unnaturally colored hair (yes, this includes blonde, but not brown, as some Japanese people do have naturally brown/light brown hair!) - skirt length, shoe color (white only), wearing a hat, jewelry, manicures/nail polish color all have rules mandated by the school. Some schools even have certain haircuts they require students to follow! If a student has long hair, they will usually be asked to wear it in a low ponytail. Of course, not every student follows the rules anyways.
They also have outside clothes called "jerseys" that they wear under their uniform. This way, students are able to change freely in the classroom before/after gym or recess.
Uniforms (teachers)
Teachers are not exactly held to the same standard, but it depends on the school. While private schools are apparently waaaaay more strict about what their students and faculty wear, public schools don't really enforce it at all. The typical uniform is a collard shirt and slacks, but teachers who are in charge of a sports club can get away with the occasional jersey/sport shirt and shorts.
Everyone who comes into the school must take their shoes off and change into slippers or indoor shoes (shoes you bought that you have decided are only for wearing inside and have never ever touched the outside ground before...)
We take our shoes on and off.. a lot. That's why most teacher's inside shoes are comfortable slip-on sneakers or loafers. I've never in my life seen a teacher lace up their shoes before. Hell, my inside shoes have zippers. It just takes too much freaking time!
The Thing About Shoes is...
I said some stuff about shoes above, but I wanted to note that the student and teacher entrance is different. Students have rows and rows of lockers to switch out their own shoes, which is (often) conveniently placed near the school grounds where they play sports.
The teachers' entrance is the regular front entrance, and we have our own lockers as well. There are shelves of slippers that belong to the school for any guests who come in, or students who forgot their inside shoes that day, lol.
Yes, yes, yes - we are required to wear inside shoes with no exception. One of my students was injured and in a wheelchair and he still had to change out his shoes, so..
Discipline
It's basically impossible to get expelled, and things like ISS simply don't exist in Japanese schools. Don't be mistaken - that certainly doesn't mean students do not have behavior issues - MY STUDENTS ARE BAD!! But they don't really get punished for it in ways you would see at an American school.
Most discipline is delegated to the homeroom teacher (or whoever else's class you're failing, lol). Some problems are severe enough to be escalated to a meeting with your parents or the vice principal ("kyoutou-sensei"), but I've honestly never seen the principal do any student discipline, and I've never seen a student be suspended or expelled.
Japan is really keen on making sure everyone gets an equal opportunity for education, even for students who have behavioral issues or would do better if they were homeschooled.
Now, corporal punishment is illegal in Japanese schools. Making students stand outside of class holding buckets of water because they forgot their homework (or whatever you might have seen from slice of life comedies..) is a thing of the semi-distant past. That being said, there is still no shortage of verbal harassment from strict teachers onto their students. I think the most common form of strict discipline that is *still* accepted is a teacher laying it on a student in the office, then sending them back to their homeroom in tears.
Yes, while humiliation sometimes hurts even worse than a ruler to the hand, no one says anything about it. That's the older teacher style. To be honest, younger teachers aren't strict enough with their students sometimes. Including me, cause I'm a pushover, lol.
Club Activities
Club activities are my students' entire LIVES. My students really like handball and track, and are sometimes staying after school 5-6 days of the week. It's not uncommon for students to go to school on the weekends or during summer/winter break. It's also not terribly uncommon for students to be part of multiple clubs, so long as they don't intersect with each other too much.
Clubs are typically anything to do with music or sports. It's not unheard of to have debate clubs, English clubs, literature clubs, calligraphy clubs, theater clubs, etc. either - but I would say that's more common in cities where schools have more opportunity to compete or perform with many other local schools.
A note about mandatory Education
Once you graduate junior high school, your period of compulsory education ends. In other words, you can stop going to school and you don't have to go to high school. You also do not have to have a high school diploma or GED to attend college, but you still have to find a college that will accept you.
Other random stuff (and debunking anime-ish myths)
In summer, students go swimming! They are required to learn how to swim from elementary school.
Teachers don't have smoke breaks during class. No one has time for that, and if you're caught by a student or another teacher, you're fucked. We do it by the 7/11 after school like normal people.
Cram school ("juku") is a thing and a LOT of students are in it. One of my students is in a swimming cram school.
Being openly LGBT in Japan is hard, but it's not impossible. There are some openly LGBT students, especially in large cities. For teachers, they don't really talk about their personal life very often (I think it's a bit taboo..) so I wouldn't imagine anyone would feel pressured to out themselves at all.
Bullying is a big problem, but it's also one of the most widely studied and discussed problem regarding Japanese schools. Some people like to say that it's much worse in Japan, but I would argue it's fairly similar to the states. Severe bullying (in which a student is physically tormented or abused) is less common than things like spreading rumors, singling out someone, or cyberbullying.
Extra credit is not a thing, but some teachers are more lenient than others about deadlines.
Yes, students are able to express themselves freely. They often do, very loudly and opinionated...ly. Or, uh, mine do.
On a test or worksheet, circles are good and checkmarks are bad.
Schools have a lot of various events, assembles, festivals, and school trips - all of which are organized by students and homeroom teachers who don't get paid enough to stay as late as they do ;D
We don't use substitute teachers. Usually the schedule will change or another teacher will fill in during their free period.
Annnnnnd that should be it. If you have any specific questions or need clarification, you are welcome to reply to this post or send me a message! I can try and answer them to the best of my ability. Every school is a little bit different, but this is truly a "general" "overview" of school life in Japan.
Thanks for reading!

AITA for being weird about winning a game?
I (25 enby) am an early childhood educator. Every week, we have a morning staff meeting where we discuss important school events and to-dos. For whatever reason, today we were all told via email to bring "3 dollars to the meeting for a time-honored energizer game." Turns out the entire meeting was just us playing a game called Left Right Center. The game is basically rolling dice and shuffling money around until one person ends up with all the money, winning. It is for all intents and purposes gambling (roll dice=win money). I did not bring any money with me (I dont carry cash) and told them, maybe a little too casually, that I should have a religious exemption from the game (Its Ramadan, Im muslim. I am not very strictly religious, but there are some rules that I feel are healthy for me to follow and are there for a reason. i dont and never have gambled regardless of the time of year). My director and admins especially pushed back, joking that "it's just a game." My director gave me three dollars, and i played. It became clear pretty quickly that I would win, which I feared would happen bc I am very lucky. I joked and had fun about it, but i was internally pretty uncomfortable with the concept of taking money from others. When I won, i sort of hid the money away as quickly as possible and told people I was going to donate it. I was pretty verbal about being uncomfortable with winning the money, but no one at my workplace seemed to care or reacted pretty weirdly to my discomfort. My director kept giving me "shout-outs" for winning and told me not to donate it but to "keep it for a rainy day."
So, AITA for playing the game and then acting uncomfortable/ not keeping the money when I won? I feel like I should have just not played, but I was really hoping I'd lose so I wouldn't have to think too hard about it. I also feel like Im stealing money from my coworkers, even though it seemed like everyone was having fun.
Note: i am the only muslim at my workplace. My co-teacher, who is Orthodox christian, and I probably have the most overt religious "rules" that impact others at work. Everyone tries to be respectful, but they dont know very much. Even my co-teacher told me she didn't know Muslims weren't supposed to gamble. I'd prefer if people refrain from religious shaming in the comments.
What are these acronyms?

time for a jamie and co LORE POST!!!! here's them with their (immediate) families. all the actual lore and such below
JAMIE: only child with a single mom. since furries in this universe can only have kids within their taxonomic families, adoption is really common among smaller families like prionodontidae. however jamie's mom erica really wanted a bio kid, so she ended up marrying another linsang who she liked... well enough, but not that much. they get divorced when jamie's a little kid. she had jamie at an older age; by the time he's in college her markings have already started greying, which is why she looks a little dull next to him. nowadays she works as a teacher and she loves her son vewy much :3
SANTIAGO: santiago is the only one in the main cast with different species parents. cross-species kids are just the species of either parent with a 50/50 chance cus i don't feel like dealing with hybrids... HOWEVER sometimes genetic fuckshit happens. because of said genetic fuckshit, santiago grew to a cow size instead of a sheep size. i couldn't fit all the family relations shit on the actual image but emilio is santiago's OLDER brother (hes 25) but people always assume hes younger because santiago is a giant. magnolia and amapola are twins and both 8. mariana is either a teacher or a librarian (haven't figured it out yet) but she used to paint when she had more free time which is how santiago got interested in painting and eventually went into fine arts. jorge is a plumber and emilio is a graphic designer. santiago is the first in the family to leave their hometown (key west) for a degree (emilio went to a local college) and his mom + sisters were SOOOOOOOOOO SAD so he comes home to visit as often as he can. also since he is in family bovidae he has several cousins/aunts and uncles/etc that are different species. all i know for sure is that one of them lives near jamie and co's college and is some sort of antelope (leaning towards bongo bc i like them). also using this poast to announce that i changed santiagos outfit here is his new cute flowers and bees sweater look
Tumblr media
JOHNNY: her family works on a chicken (and other assorted birds) farm, the chickens are for both eggs and meat while the other birds are just for eggs. this is actually a common set-up in the dorian furryverse, it's hard to farm livestock as a carnivore (because all the livestock are deathly afraid of you) so herbivores usually do the job even if they can't actually eat what they farm. johnny's parents are sorta "confused but got the spirit" about her being a butch lesbian. jimmy is an ass about it but he gets better. shoutout to this horse color calculator for helping me figure out which coat colors were plausible for them
NULL: null has an older brother and does not talk to their parents. sakichi is six years older than null and they were never very close; their parents treated sakichi as the "successful" child and null as the "problem" child. they're also quite conservative. null realized they were agender in high school but stayed closeted at home, they planned to come out to their parents immediately once they got to college and were able to support themselves. something happens that instead makes them come out a few days after their graduation and they get kicked out. null doesn't know where to go and ends up living at johnny's farm for the summer before college (sakichi lives far away doing some tech job and so can't take them in). the clantons are basically null's family at this point. once null legally changes their name they remove their last name entirely (it probably says X on their documents just cus there has to be SOMETHING there). sakichi and null see each other very occasionally, and sakichi still talks to their parents, but only when absolutely necessary. it's not malicious, he'd just feel too guilty cutting himself off from them completely
ARGYLE: argyle is an only child with well-off parents, his mom is a lawyer and his dad is a quirky ancient history professor. his parents are like EXTREMELY doting so they were secretly kinda glad that he came back home so they could see him more often. argyle was really scared that they would hate him for going into a less stable field, but his parents love him to death and are ready to support him in whatever. suzanne was probably a nightmare at pta meetings i'll be so real

Omg what if yves and reader are both in high school (their are seniors and both are 18) and had to take care of a fake baby as a final project for like 20% of their grade and it just so happens that reader and yves are partners (totally not because yves threatened or bribed the teacher nonono) so yves invited reader to stay at his place for the next two weeks (which of course reader’s parents where more then happy to agree because yves is the smartest, richest, and totally nicest student anyone has ever met) to “parent” the fake baby, like I can totally see yves not only acting like a father but a husband to and he will also act like reader just gave birth to the fake baby (it doesn’t matter if reader is a female or male), he will say things like “no reader you can’t do the dishes, why? Because you just gave birth and need to rest so why do you go play with Sammy (that was what yves named the fake baby) ok? (Sorry if I have bab English it’s not my first language)
💔 sorry anon but when I created Yves he is a child hater and at least late 20s. So having him as an 18 year old classmate is out of the question.
Though, him disliking children doesn't mean that he is going to outwardly and severely abuse his child if he ever has one with you. He will just be neglectful, only spending enough of his time and money to keep the child alive and disciplined. His research on the child is slightly more than the information gathered on your friends: enough to keep them predictable, but not enough to keep them happy.
Yves's priority is you and no one else. Offspring to him are replaceable, you are not.
However, if you were assigned such work, ironically take any chance he gets to make your assignment harder, of course discretely. This is to thoroughly discourage you from ever wanting to have babies on your own.
He would rig the doll so that it will cry often at dangerous volume levels. Yves would hide the keys needed to stop it from screaming, making you go insane with sleep deprivation. You could be doing everything right (i.e. feeding the doll on time, supporting it's neck when carrying it, gently handling its body), but you would soon find out nothing works.
It just keeps crying and the dratted device will only stop at random, seemingly no pattern to it's behavior. Mimicking the behavior of real babies.
It is highly unlikely Yves injected himself completely into your life at 18, 19 or even at 25. As he is a man who also believes that your youth shouldn't be spent on chasing relationships, romantic or otherwise. Instead, it should be focused on your education, honing your skills, grasping the world around you, forming your own identity, becoming wiser and mature.
So he mostly operates behind the scenes during your formative years, occasionally appearing here and there to either guide you through hardship or to subconsciously influence you into wholly accepting him later in your life.
He is in a twisted sense, your guardian angel. Or guardian devil, depending on what the situation calls. Regardless, you wouldn't know that he was behind nearly everything that went wrong or right in your life.
Yves only wants you to be happy and safe. But he is still his own person with desires. He can be selfish.
He knows you inside and out, you can handle a couple days of sleep deprivation. He quadruple checked your files and ran some computer generated simulations before making that decision to tamper with your doll.
A small price to pay for a lifetime of child free bliss.

Sibling photo!
Tumblr media
W/O the photo frame
Tumblr media
Ik the left arm looks kinda off but hush
Now get ready for a long fucking rant about my listeners
Starting with Dennys! AKA Mariah Rose
(I'll do the others later)
Doing this just so I can keep her backstory from constantly changing or fusing with others
Alright so! :
Mariah is in her early 20s (maybe 23 or 25?)
Freckled ginger supremacy /hj
She has a bit of a stutter when she talks and is kinda insecure about it
Though shy with new people at first, a completely different person when they've known each other for a few months. By that, I mean she goes from a shy, quiet girl to a chaotic, loud menace
Has matching orange highlights with her brother
By the request of her strict mom, she entered university at about 18, dropped out at 21, and went back a few months later and finished her degree at 23
She has an electrical engineering degree that she still hasn't used because finding jobs is kinda hard
A very new employee at denny's
Literally only started working there to spite her mom
Mommy issues
Dad is pretty cool with whatever she does tbh long as she stays safe
Has 2 younger siblings who are twin sisters (Alicia and Amy) and 1 older brother (Henry). They all have a pretty strong bond!
Smoked for a year, quit because her sister Alicia developed asthma
Her other sister Amy wears hearing aids and really likes to draw!
The twins Alicia and Amy are 12 years old
Her brother is in his late 20s, engaged, has a medical degree, and works as a doctor in a hospital
Mariah struggled with her mental health for a few years, which is also why she dropped out before going back when her health improved
Used to wear glasses before getting eye surgery (paid by her dad cuz ain't no way she had enough money for that)
Did soccer in high school before breaking her ankle, leading to a few difficulties with walking for a few years, so she quit. Still kinda has pain in her leg whenever she walks
Occasionally does random arts n crafts with her sister to spend time with them
Also includes doing pranks on her brother
Was very alone and lonely from elementary to middle school, slowly started to get more extroverted in high school
Mariah only had very few friends. She wasn't really bullied or kept out of the group, but more like girlie was too anxious to approach anyone. So, her friends were the ones to initiate friendship first
Gal is so chaotic when she gets more comfortable. omg, comes from having multiple siblings, lol. In later stages of high school, she definitely started getting a bit more of a troublemaker, but not to the point of getting written up or kicked out
Def a people pleaser, girl says yes to almost anything (too nervous to say no cuz she doesn't want to upset anyone) her friends are usually the ones who say no for her
Prefers darker clothing and gets cold pretty fucking easily so she always has a jacket on her. Also has some walking problems due to the soccer accident I mentioned in the rant, so she's almost always sitting (gets a pass from the teachers to stay inside the classroom during recess) and sometime brings a walking stick with her if her leg is really acting up
Denise and Sarah from @piffany666 and @rustycopper4use taught her the ropes when she started working in dennys /hj
And that's all for now! Lemme know if you have any questions about her

Pokemon Horizons Episode 46 Review - Terastal Debut
What I like most about this episode is that so much is given out and it’s explained so thoroughly. Instead of having the kids go on a Treasure Hunt like in the game, Liko, Roy and Dot enroll in Naranja Academy’s Terastal Course. It turns out that the school allows students from all over the world to enroll in the course to learn more about Terastal as permitted by Director Clavell and Chairwoman Geeta.
Tumblr media
Dendra gives an explanation of how the course works. To study Terastal, students must defeat Gym Leaders according to their aptitude. There’s also a condition as students can only have two chances to challenge a Gym Leader and if they acknowledge their skills, they pass. Also, students cannot terastalize outside of battles not revolving around the Terastal Course; this means that regular trainer battles do not permit Terastalizing. Liko gets paired up with Katy, Roy gets paired up with Brassius and Dot gets paired up with Iono. The kids get camping equipment as they have to camp out for the course. Dot is definitely not amused that she has to touch grass for a while now.
There are so many characters introduced here that it’s insane. Alex and Lucca, Liko’s parents, return and are actually seen together. It’s sweet that she has loving parents. Given that Lucca is a teacher, she doesn’t seem to work at Naranja Academy and probably works elsewhere. That’s an interesting detail. Then we have Clavell who wears the Scarlet version of his outfit. Then there’s the Pokemon League members with Geeta and the Elite Four showing up. It’s crazy how they all just show up at the school like it’s normal business to patrol the school or something. There’s also the debut of Penny who has no lines. I guess she’s forced to work for the League in this iteration, but it’ll be cool if Team Star gets implemented into the story. Jacq and Dendra make their debuts as teachers. They still teach their respective subjects of Biology and Battle Studies. Dendra is the one who explains the course to the kids while Jacq tells them that he wants reports from them as they are still students at the end of the day. Nemona makes her reappearance with a newly evolved Pawmot. In her first appearance, her Pawmo was the butt of a recurring joke where it got sprayed by Brassius’s Doliv’s oil twice. Here, Nemona is now the butt of the recurring joke as her desire to battle Roy gets interrupted by staff and the school bell.
The biggest surprise in terms of character returns is Ann who has transferred to Naranja Academy to partake in the Terestal Course with her newly evolved Dewott. The battle between her and Liko was really well-animated. Liko and Ann were very strategic and used various tactics to one-up each other. My favorite part of the battle was when Dewott used Aerial Ace and its fists glowed up and tried to punch Floragato. I hope Ann battles more in this arc because it’d be a waste to not let her battle when she’s very capable.
Another surprise is the Explorers coming in to partake in the course too. Sidian and Coral arrive late, and use very terrible pseudonyms in order to pass as students. Fortunately, they were able to get in because Chalce is disguised as a teacher and was able to hack them into the database. The Explorers are doing this because they were tasked to keep an eye on Liko. There were two things I liked about the Explorers segment. The first is Coral laughing her head off when Sidian introduces them as Onigiri and Sandwich, which she then accepts. The second is the fact that Liko, Roy and Dot recognize them and isn’t suffering from face blindness that Ash and his friend suffered through for 25 years when it came to Team Rocket’s disguises.
Tumblr media
Last but not least, the Rising Volt Tacklers are doing their own thing right now. Orla is in charge of the Brave Olivine repairs. Mollie and Ludlow are caring for Pokemon. Murdock is working at what seems to be Patisserie Soapberry as his outfit looks similar to Katy’s. Friede is going to research the Six Heroes as he has the Ancient Pokeballs and Lucius’s belt in his possession as Liko goes to take the Terastal Course. It’ll be cool to see what the other RVTs will be doing in future episodes.
As a whole, the entire episode was a very good introduction to the third chapter. The pacing was great in terms of squeezing in everything that was needed. The new opening and ending songs were great too! I think it’s amazing how they managed to get IVE, a K-POP girl group, to sing in Japanese for Horizons. Since K-POP is rather popular in Japan and they have been using KPOP groups for different anime openings for various animes, it was about time that Pokemon would do the same. It shows that this arc will be one to remember with the new changes! It does feel like the quality has stepped up here. I’m honestly hyped up for what’s to come. What about you?

Hi love, can I have a really fluffy Evan imagine? I am 22 years old and a first year teacher who teaches first grade. Could it start out where she trashed college. It then transition to him helping her set up her classroom, and then once the years starts where she is overwhelmed being a first year teacher so he does all this sweet stuff and comforts her? Thanks!!
Yes of course hope you enjoy ☺️
Teaching the first grade (evan peters x teacher reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: evan helps you set up your classroom for your first day of being a first grad teacher
Warnings: none really
Word count:1,9k
A/n: it’s officially spooky season feel free to sent some requests. I have somethings in the works for Halloween ☺️
•¤❅¤•.•°˚˚°•..•°˚˚°•.•¤❅¤•.•¤❅¤•.•°˚˚°•.
For as long as you could remember you wanted to be a teacher helping children be educated and progress in their lives. Help them be something spark their curiosity about what they wanted to be. So when you made it to college you knew that you wanted to study education mostly for younger children such as first graders.
But college life outside of classes got the best of you struggling to keep up with classes sure you managed to pass most of your classes. But being late to most of them and finding things hard. You made loads of friends even met people who didn't go to college such as Evan peters who then progressed to become your boyfriend later on.
Even though you failed some classes you were determined to full-fill your dreams in becoming a teacher. Asking to take extra time in your work to get the grades you needed to seek further in your education. In which all paid off well.
...
After a few years of studying you finally made it in your dreams. Getting a job as a first grade teacher you were nervous about how it would play out but Evan stood by your side throughout the process. Helping you set up your classroom. "Where do you want this?" He asked holding a box filled with things to decorate your classroom. "On one of the desks at the back please" you answered stapling some things on the wall to give the glum looking room some character for the children.
You and Evan spent the day moving desks so the tables would be in groups of four. You had a whole idea set up, a vision of how to make the class fun for the children yet still educational. "I'm so nervous for Monday" you said finishing the last piece of wall decoration. "You'll do amazingly, I mean when I was in first grade I didn't have superheroes and barbie dolls in my classroom, you'll be the best teacher ever" Evan reassures you his hands on your shoulders placing a chaste kiss on your cheeks.
You felt anxious and overwhelmed by the whole situation, sure this is what you wanted but now that it's officially happening the reality was setting in. It wasn't going to be easy by any means being responsible for a class of 20-25 children. "I hope you" you sighed finishing off the last pieces of your classroom.
...
Monday soon rolled around fast, the first school year. You woken up early barely able to even sleep due to your nerves. Picking out some dress pants and a white shirt you quickly got changed and applied some light makeup straightening your hair. Evan was still asleep light snores echoed through the room.
You went into the kitchen to make some coffee and eat your overnight oats for breakfast. You were to busy looking Through emails before you had to leave you didn't see Evan sluggishly walking into the kitchen. "Morning babe" he yawned running his tired eyes.
"Good morning" anxiety seeped through your tone Evan took notice wrapping his arms around your waist. "You'll do amazingly those kids are going to have the best teacher ever" he praised placing a kiss on your cheek. "You really think so?" You asked your hands on top of his on your waist. "I know so you'll take to it like a fish in water".
You were in your classroom getting everything prepared for your class coming in. You felt more nervous than before, hands trembling wiping over each desk. The clock showed 7:49am, ten minutes before your class officially starts you prepared all the last minute details such as pencils and paper for drawings.
8:00am rolled around you stood outside your classroom waiting on the children to arrive. Seeing all the children lined up outside the classroom smiles on their faces guided by the older grade as their buddy for a few weeks while they all settle into the school.
"Hello everyone I'm ms y/l/n come on in and I'll sort you all in your seating plan" you said in a comforting manner. All the children followed you in the room, you had instructed them to line up at the back of the class room and you will call out their names.
"Tommy merland?" You called a little boy with dirty blonde hair stepped forward shyly. "You come sit over here" you smiled. You called out each of the children's names one by one. The seating plan went as two boy and two girls on each table. All the children chatted amongst themselves getting to know everyone.
You nerves calmed down a little. Clearing your throat "okay class I want you all, in your groups come up with a name for your group and that will be the name of the group for awards and games- now this can be a character from your favourite show, game or favourite singer" you instructed "yes miss" the children called all chatting amongst themselves coming up with a group name.
After about five minutes you gained the children's attention. "Okay so Corey's table what name have you chosen?" You asked all the children seemed excited to share their names. "Spongebob" the little boy called out. "Amazing group one SpongeBob group" you said writing it down so you could put a picture on their pots in the middle of the table.
"Millie's group what did you pick?".
"Tom and Jerry". The brunette girl called. "Hey we wanted Tom and Jerry" a boy called out in a huff. Before you knew it a argument broke out between the two children. "Okay children is there another name you would like?" You asked hoping they may have picked a backup. "No we wanted Tom and Jerry".
You tried to resolve the small issue with brainstorming ideas but they weren't having it, still bickering over the topic. "Everyone hands on your heads" the children followed your attention exercise. "Hands on nose, on lips". All the children fell silent waiting on your next words.
You felt stressed out but an idea came to your head. "How about one group will be Tom and the other one be Jerry?" The children considered your suggestion one group picked Tom the other Jerry.
Later on in the classroom you were teaching the children their handwriting skills before lunch. All the children were doing great. You went round each group to see if they needed some help. "Great job everyone, now please put your pencils away and get ready for lunch" you called the class put all their things away getting ready for that lunch time bell to ring.
During lunch out let out a sigh finally being alone to think and take a breather. You heard your cellphone ringing in your bag fishing out for it. Evan's screen name shone on the device a smile on your lips answering the phone.
"Hey babe how is it so far?" He asked, you could practically hear the smile through the phone.
"I'm overwhelmed by it all, don't get me wrong I love it but it's so stressful I had to settle an argument on what group can be Tom and Jerry" you giggled.
"Tom and Jerry?" Evan asked. "Yeah in the group the kids would pick what their group would be called there's SpongeBob, queen elsa, and of course Tom and Jerry" you explained. Wiping over the whiteboard to start the next lesson.
"Well hopefully you don't have to settle more arguments on Tom and Jerry" he chuckles you giggled back. You and Evan bet your goodbyes hanging up the phone just in time for the children to come back.
Hours had past you felt exhausted, the drive home was quiet. You couldn't wait to get home and relax with Evan for a while. Pulling up along your driveway, eyes barely open your feet ached from standing most of the day. Exiting the car you locked it behind you making your way to your home.
Pushing the door open you were greeted by the comforting aroma of cooking. You closed the door leaving your shoes by the door entering the kitchen. You saw Evan plating up some food. A warm smile invaded your lips placing your handbag on the counter. "How was work?" He asked. "Stressful but good" you sighed wrapping your arms around his waist  nuzzling your head on his back.
"Dinner smells good" you hummed taking in his scent- woody cologne mixed with a faint cigarette. "I hope it tastes as good as it smells" Evan chuckles handing you your plate. You ate a forkful a delightful moan left your lips "this is really good babe" you said nodding.
"So how was your day?" You asked taking about bite of your food.
"It was alright just ran some errands and got some things for you" he shrugged.
"For me?" You asked with a furrow brow, "yeah I thought maybe we could have a pamper night together since you wanted to do so for a while and I bought some snacks and stuff" your heart melted hearing him say that. "Aww Evan thank you" you beamed finishing the last of your dinner.
Later on you and Evan sat on your shared bed with a bunch of snacks and skin care products. "What do I do with this?" He asked holding a bottle of cleanser. "It's a cleaner you use a cotton pad and it takes all the dirt off your face" you explained handing him a cotton pad.
Evan poured some on gesturing you to come closer. You shimmied yourself closer feeling the cold pad wipe gently over your face. "Your turn" you said repeating the process on Evan's face.
You took two sheet face masks out handing Evan one, opening it up placing it over your faces. "It's cold" Evan cringed but placed it on his face anyway. "It was in the fridge Evan" you giggled. "Why was it in the fridge?" He asked confused. "Because it will depuff your face, now this has to be on for ten minutes" you answered laying back on the bed.
During those ten minutes your and Evan munched on the snacks he purchased earlier today talking about random things. You felt so much better than earlier taking off your face masks after ten minutes, moving on to the next step. "This is retinol it stops aging" you informed using the dropper from the glass bottle to drop some of the product on your hand.
You applied it on Evan's face a satisfied hum leaving his lips “that feels nice”. You smiled massaging the serum into his skin.
You and Evan took turns applying the rest of the products on each other. Placing everything back we’re they belong. You rushed right back to bed, under the covers snuggling up with your boyfriend with heavy eyes. A random rom-com playing quietly in the background.
“Thank you for this Evan i really needed this today was overwhelming” you sighed happily your chin rested on his chest looking up at him through your eyelashes. “I’m glad to help, hopefully tomorrow isn’t too bad first days are stressful but you did amazing” he smiled stroking your hair comforting you.
You averted your attention back to the tv in your bedroom, evan still stroking your hair. You felt your eyes shutting trying to hold them open but it was no use, slumber took over you. Evan smiled hearing your soft snores gently moving you aside so he could turn the tv off. Crawling back into bed tucking his arm back under your head drifting off to sleep.
