Oooh can I please request platonic yandere brother Luffy hcs please who’s sister came a marine unlike her brother(s) 🙏 love to hear your thoughts
Sure! Bear with me as I'm not that far into the story yet but I watched some of a video to help me understand more of the world :) So this doesn't focus on an specific plot point. It's a general idea. (I want to write One Piece and I'm impatient-)
Yandere! Platonic! Luffy with Marine Sister! Darling
Pairing: Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Female Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Clingy behavior, Delusional behavior, Kidnapping, Jealousy, Violence, Forced companionship.
You were already quite different from your fellow foster brothers.
First of all, you were the only foster sister of them.
While you were fostered in the same family as Luffy, Ace, and Sabo... you didn't have the same goals.
Unlike them you didn't want to be a pirate.
At least, not after your experience with the Bluejam Pirates.
Before you all went your separate ways, Luffy was probably the closest with you.
He often spoke to you about becoming "King of The Pirates", often wanting you to join him.
You'd simply nod and smile, not having the heart to tell him that you didn't want to be a pirate after your experiences.
Secretly you hoped he would give up the goal as you loathed the idea of harming him in the future.
Pirate or not, you still saw him and Ace primarily as your brothers.
However, even if you hated the thought of being a pirate, you played and cared for Luffy + Ace all the same.
You still felt you should be supportive of your brothers, even comforting Luffy as Sabo's supposed "death" and Ace's departure.
For a while it was just you and Luffy, your younger brother still just as excited to be a pirate.
Luffy respected you when you were younger, often coming to you for adventure.
When you four were together you often loved to cause trouble on the island.
Although, Luffy noticed you weren't as into it when you were older.
The thought upset him.
Luffy would always ask why you don't want to hang out anymore.
You would brush him off, but Luffy is known to be stubborn.
Eventually you know you can't keep him in the dark for much longer.
You want to leave this island, it's about time you did.
Sabo's gone, Ace is off to be a pirate, the only one you have now is Luffy.
Luffy was 16 almost 17 by the time you decided to leave the island, you were 19.
He had grown attached to you, even though you no longer wished to partake in your pirate games.
When Luffy confronted you, you admitted you were planning to leave the island.
Luffy protests, saying how he wanted to start a pirate crew with you.
However, you shut him down, ignoring how your brother clung to you.
"Maybe we'll meet again in the future?" You bring up, making Luffy pause for a moment.
"You want to explore those vast seas and become the Pirate King, don't you?" You push a melancholy smile on your face.
"Yeah!" Luffy chirps in an excited tone. "But... I wanted to do it with you, sis...."
"I have my own journey to take..." You sigh, giving him one last hug. "But I'm sure we'll meet again in those waters."
Luffy was reluctant to let you leave, but with some convincing, he let his sister go.
About half a year later Luffy sets off on his own journey, starting the events of One Piece.
While your brothers had roles against the government... you had managed to find your place in the Marines/Navy.
You had been pardoned for past crimes and were given a recommendation to enlist due to your knowledge in firearms and tactics.
Throughout the years you even managed to rank as an officer, often being considered a useful asset within the Marines.
You never forgot about your brothers.
No, how could you when you often saw wanted posters and heard rumors?
You heard of Ace and internally smiled to know he was doing well.
You heard rumors of Sabo but were skeptical on the legitimacy of the claims.
Then you heard of Luffy... the rumors making your heart clench.
It was definitely your Luffy... you could see that in the posters.
It seemed like he put together a crew of his own, which impressed you.
Although... you hated the idea of being enemies.
As Luffy's journey progresses, you keep more of an eye on him than the usual pirates.
Other Marines, including a fellow officer you're partnered with, would occasionally notice you looking over a wanted poster of Luffy.
They think it's because he's garnering a reputation... which is partially true.
But you have different reasons.
You silently hope you never have to confront your old brothers.
You can deal with other pirates, that's no issue.
Yet you have too much of an attachment to Luffy and Ace.
Unfortunately, fate was just as cruel as the waters you sailed on.
Eventually you encountered Luffy since he managed to catch the eye of the Marines once again.
Reluctantly you're put on the field, sat right in front of Luffy.
Luffy paused his fighting once your presence was announced, your name still familiar in his mind.
Then he saw you.
You looked similar to how you once looked back on the island... yet were dressed completely in Marine gear.
Not the usual stuff, either.
You were high in rank.
Luffy felt... betrayed yet also... excited to see you again.
It's been, what, two years later?
You're both adults now yet with such different paths.
You two most likely fight, even though you're both not into it.
You keep trying to say you'll leave him alone if he turns back, if he just stops this.
Meanwhile Luffy keeps trying to convince you to join his crew even now.
Imagine if by the end of your confrontation Luffy does everything in his power to capture you.
He plays it off as wanting to take you as a hostage.
His crew goes along with it, but they can tell Luffy has a past with you.
You fight him the best you can but eventually are forced to surrender.
Imagine if Luffy kept you tied on the ship, still trying to play off the role of kidnapping a hostage until you're out at sea with his crew.
After that, Luffy becomes overly friendly.
He's excitedly rambling to you about how much he's missed you, not quite believing that you'd willingly join the Marines.
He just thinks maybe his sister was captured and forced into the role!
Yes, you must just be misguided.
After all, you two were meant to be pirates together!
I can see him excitedly rambling about Ace and maybe even Sabo to you, saying he's seen them again on his journey and now he's finally found you...!
He's too delusional to consider you an enemy.
Zoro and Usopp keep saying how you're a prominent Marine officer, obviously confused on how he knows you.
Only for Luffy to chime in that you're brother and sister.
You correct him by saying you were foster siblings, but Luffy brushes that off.
It becomes clear to the others and you that Luffy didn't take you as a hostage.
He took you onto the ship in an attempt to change your mind again.
Luffy's dragging you around the ship in your ropes to meet his crew, never keeping an arm off you.
You clearly look annoyed... but part of you is happy to see him again.
Although you know he'll never understand you....
Luffy holds you on his ship in an attempt to convert you into being a pirate.
Which you're forced to be put through.
Even if you tell Luffy you hate pirates, he doesn't believe you.
You can't hate pirates... all your siblings are pirates...!
Luffy is definitely just ignoring the facts.
Even his crew can see your irritation when Luffy clings to you like some affectionate child scared to lose you again.
The Marines no doubt want his sister back, but Luffy is definitely prepared to use violence to prevent that.
When the Marines try to take you back, Luffy taunts them by saying you don't want to be a Marine anymore.
Which is a lie, you do, but it's not like Luffy will acknowledge that.
Luffy would probably ask Nami to get you new clothes that aren't Marine clothes.
You're reluctantly forced to change into different attire to make you more "pirate-like".
You love your brother, you really do...
You just wish this wasn't the thing he decided to pull.
Would Luffy kill to keep you? I can see it happening.
He's determined to have you part of his crew, both pirates looking for adventure.
His charisma and persistence may wear you down.
Plus, you dread the sight of blood on his clothes...
It usually isn't his, based on the cold look in his gaze.
Perhaps you give in, accepting your fate.
Your acceptance makes him ecstatic, clinging to you as he recounts fantasies he's had since he was young.
Seeing a glimpse of the young boy Luffy used to be with you makes you smile...
Although your eyes water when you realize just what you've gotten yourself into.
Now you're forced to be on the run... yet Luffy doesn't care...
Now you two can finally be pirates together as you were always meant to be...!
"I can't wait for you to meet Ace and Sabo with me again...! It's been so long!"

May you please write a Strawhat, Heart pirates and Kid pirates with an autistic and/or ADHD young reader ? Who have zero respect for adults and hates them unless they were cool/kind to them
─ Strawhats, Heart Pirates & Kid Pirates x reader
─ Summary: It's just you having your little autism/ADHD moment with this crews
─ Warnings: none
Part two
I don't know if I related the autism or ADHD aspects well, sorry about that :s and I don't know why whenever I write something about Kid pirates, reader tends to bite people jhadjhs omg it's a headcannon that I can't get out of my head sorry 😭🤚
─ You and Chopper are the spoiled and protected of the ship for being young.
─ Although they are more careful with you because well, you'll simply end up lost in some random place due to your attention deficit at the least convenient times.
─ It was hard for you to trust them at first but your weak point was Brook and Franky, they were the most outstanding and cool, of course Robin's kindness also captured your sensitive part.
─ They find it adorable how sometimes you just ramble out loud about everything you see in the place or think about something that catches your attention.
─ I can see how Zoro, Brook and Luffy think that you are just a little stupid and distracted (like their captain) and that the ones who really know about your ADHD are the rest, maybe Usopp thinks that you are also something wrong with directions just like Zoro.
─ Robin tries not to overload you with the tasks you have to do, she always gives you a hand if she sees that you are starting to dissociate more than normal.
─ Luffy will be the one to end your most hyperactive side, he will make you tired when playing with him, although he have to change games every so often because you'll simply get bored.
─ Franky or Usopp will make small de-stressing or sensitive objects to help you if you need them or make you feel better.
─ You don't know how you do it, but you always end up in all the villains' speeches, you try to listen to their story but you just get bored and end up ignoring them until the fight breaks out, you have the nerve to even sleep while someone tells how miserable their life was, but you know, you don't care for and dislike most adults.
─ But don't worry, you have a whole crew that covers your back while you sleep on these occasions.
"My parents were killed by pirates, my daughter, my wife… everything was destroyed by vile beings like you all, that's why I swore revenge for-"
The words of the angry person next to you went to the back of your mind, you let out a yawn even though your head continued to watch the surroundings as you fiddled with your hands, somewhat impatient for all the chatter to end.
You tried to stay focused on at least one thing, which was usually Usopp's nose, why? No idea, you just liked it because it was unusual, even though you don't think the crew you're with is normal.
You didn't even notice how a knife was thrown at you for simply not paying attention to your surroundings, Zoro's sword quickly deflected it as Nami pulled you closer to her, you looked at her silently asking if she needed anything, at this point you had forgotten that you were in the middle of starting a fight.
"Just stay by my side, okay?"
"Why- Oh, careful!"
Pulling out your own weapon you fended off an attack coming towards you, your mind coming to its senses as to the current situation, taking another approach, your hyperactive side taking over the rest of the battle where luckily you could focus on an enemy, although you had many weak points, Sanji took care to cover them so that you could concentrate on your fight without distractions that could injure you.
"Nice, you're giving them a beating!"
And in the middle of the battle Luffy took it upon himself to break all your concentration with his praise, which you loved to receive like a puppy hungry for acceptance, you turned around ignoring your opponent's attack, smiling at Luffy as you gave him some thumbs up.
"Luffy, this is not the time!"
Jinbe deflected the attack coming at you for paying attention to your captain instead of the fight you were fighting, again preventing you from getting hurt, though before you knew it the battle was already over and now everyone was just scolding Luffy while that Chopper checked if you had hurt without realizing it.
─ He took you as a patient to analyze for your unusual behavior.
─ Then he simply appreciated your skills without giving importance to your ADHD or signs of autism, at least it was something that made you look at him with different eyes, he didn't treat you as someone different just because of your small condition.
─ The relationship with them at the beginning was a complete tug of war of insults, absurd fights and a lot of disrespect towards them for the simple fact of being older than you, maybe the only one who was saved from all your crap was Bepo because an animal that speaks? It was the coolest thing you've seen so far in your short life.
─ After a while you started to get along better with everyone, Shachi's and Penguin's jokes started to make you laugh, Law easily earned your respect, Ikkaku was very nice to you as was Jean Bart when you joined permanently.
─ Although from time to time you mess with them as a joke, only small harmless fights.
─ Law takes care of your problem with attention deficit, giving you activities that keep your mind active efficiently, however Shachi and Penguin end up messing up your concentration somehow.
─ You usually help Ikkaku in the kitchen, although sometimes she's the one who has to help you because you try to do so many things at once (and end up not completing any) that you need her to organize the things you have to do.
─ Normally they have you in the rear when they fight, they are not risking your little habits hurting you, although Law is not one to confront someone directly, he is more cunning than that.
─ Of course, on many occasions you have broken that moment of secrecy that they need but they have never thrown it in your face, they know the consequences of your distractions but they will not leave you behind.
You were on an undercover mission with Jean Bart, both of you acting like family having a drink in a bar while what you really want is to listen to the conversation of a few pirates that Law wanted to steal a map from.
The others were also around controlling the rest of the crew and their movements, and you were really doing well, behaving like a minimally normal teenager without anything distracting you for more than a few seconds, you had been training your concentration but there are moments when those intrusive thoughts win.
Today and now seemed to be the right time for your impatience and impulsiveness to drive you enough to break the role you were playing, listening to the conversation of an adult who seemed to be an idiot, although everyone seemed so to your eyes, it was a breaking point.
"You're so damn annoying! Just tell me where you got that damn map you stole!"
You jumped out of your seat pointing your weapon at the man who nearly fell over in shock at your aggressiveness and spontaneity, and immediately everyone jumped into the fight aware that you had exposed your stealth strategy.
"You've lasted longer concentrated than last time, keep it up!"
"I don't need your stupid flattery!"
Ignoring the guy you were threatening Shachi distracted you, which led to Jean Bart stopping a small blade you didn't see directed at your abdomen, Law switched your location to his and did the job of the threat quickly with the help of his power.
"You have to control yourself more, we will not always be there to cover you."
You crossed your arms a little annoyed that they didn't let you finish the job they had given you, also blaming yourself internally for messing it up again, but Bepo took care to make you think of other things when he asked for your help to organize the new loot obtained, although it took the rest of the day because you just stood around taking a good look at all the cool stuff.
No one would blame you for your little outbursts or for your curious habits, that's how you were, that's how they accepted you and that's how they love you, after all, you were unique in your own way.
─ You probably looked like a wild animal to them the first time they saw you because you attacked them for trespassing on your property, more like the forest you lived in.
─ You were practically a wild and completely impulsive, simple-minded person who was raised by, in fact, animals.
─ Adults normally came to destroy the nature of your home, and you developed a certain hatred towards them. Kid noticed this when he found you again biting a villager who tried to hunt a rabbit that was originally your prey.
─ It was so hilarious that he thought you would be a good addition to the team, you were just as rude as them although he also noticed that you had concentration problems, he thought it wouldn't be a big problem.
─ Ah yes, the reliable old one, he just dragged you onto his ship and at first it was like you were an abused cat getting used to a new life where they didn't abuse it, lots of scratching, biting and hissing if any of them dared to get too close.
─ Once you gain confidence or at least, accept their presence without hating them, they will find your impulsiveness amusing when it comes to battles, they just sit and watch how you fight against five men much stronger than you, keeping them at bay because your lack of focusing on a single target makes you somehow attack everyone at once.
─ Although Killer always has an eye on you, you are too young to end up dead because of your impulsiveness.
─ They don't care about your strange nature, they simply interpret your autism as if it were the fault of your contempt for adults for being away from society for so long.
─ I can see that these idiots only increase your attention deficit instead of helping you, as if they had competitions to see who can distract you the most.
You were calmly observing some fish, everything was strangely calm, you frowned, touching the tips of your fingers to your thumb in succession as you turned around only to be greeted by a necklace that was swinging slowly between Wire's fingers, your attention being immediately stolen by some floating bolts because of Kid.
You shook your head back to your thoughts, you knew they were trying to have one of their silly competitions over who could get your attention the easiest and you were simply too proud to fall for their tricks again.
"Oh look, a sea king!"
You cursed yourself internally when you fell into the trap of one of the boys, getting your attention back to the immense sea in search of that creature, you returned the gaze with some insults that only made everyone laugh, they continued trying to steal your attention but you just focused on other things like the seagulls or the clouds.
Inevitably your brain shut down and got carried away when you saw a big blaze of fire as well as the slightly warmer environment, no matter how many times Heat did that trick, he would always gain your attention by spitting fire, making you forget everything and focus just in the fire.
"Looks like I won again."
"You're just cheating! If I had more metal I could do a lot better than your stupid little flame."
And then started a discussion between Kid and Heat about which of the two would be better, Wire sneaked up to you, you looked at him while you moved your arms impatiently as if you were waiting for something to happen, he knew that when you started to move so much something was irritating you and if he didn't you want to start a fight where you'll probably end up biting someone's ankles he decided to take you to the kitchen with Killer.
"Have they started fighting again?"
It didn't take a word from Wire for the blond to know why you were there, he just nodded and left you both, Killer always knew how to make your hyperactivity not hurt you too much as well as your impulses, he gave you self-control methods, although they didn't always turn out well.
"Killer, I think I want to stick a fork into someone."
"And why this time?"
"It's just… an impulse, can I do it?"
"No..." you opened your mouth to complain but he continued "not someone from the ship, we'll talk about it when we disembark on the next island."
"Yes, sir…"
Killer smiled vaguely as he saw how in a couple of seconds your attention simply went to the kitchen stools, you had been in the habit of placing them in a specific way because if it didn't bother you, at least he thought this helped you to forget your desire to stick a fork into someone.

Thoughts on Canto V
Spoilers ahead. Also, disclaimer that I did not play it but instead watched it because I really like the story but I don't play the game anymore. I do not think playing it through would have impacted my experience, but do keep that fact in mind and let me know if you think my feelings would change if I had played it.
OH MY FUCKING GOD I REALLY LIKED IT! The characters were solid (though there are some problems), the theme of hoping for the future and allowing yourself to discover it for yourself rather than holding onto the past, and there were some incredible fucking moments.
Firstly, Ishmael. She was pretty stellar throughout. Watching her slowly degrade into becoming a mirror of the very woman she sought to destroy was heartbreaking, I felt like she actually had a real arc this canto that helped her become a less burdened person, and some of her deepening bonds with the other sinners were awesome. I particularly liked watching her interactions with Outis because Moby Dick and the Odyssey/Illiad are the two literary works from Limbus that I know well, and based on that info it makes sense that they would both understand and annoy each other. The moments with Heathcliff were also incredible because they've always had a really cool dynamic. Ishmael's relationships with her crew were also interesting and I feel like that could have easily been the best part of this cant, but ultimately that didn't end up happening (more on that later). I felt like the sudden character development 'Oh the other characters are my friends and they are my compass' thing was a BIG JUMP especially for Ishmael, but it's not a bad idea. I think it just needed more time in the oven, let Ishmael interact with the other sinners inside the dungeon and have her work together with them to get through things. Fortunately, Ishmael's VA + the Mili song really carried that ending so I still wound up getting caught up in the moment regardless. Speaking of Ishmael's VA...HOLY SHIT WHATEVER THEY ARE GETTING PAID IT WAS NOT ENOUGH!! Singlehandedly made me like this Canto so much more than I otherwise would have. An incredible performance all around, stand out moments include but are not limited to: Her ranting at the pirates about them not knowing what shame is, the euphoric hatred in her voice as she fantasizes about finding and killing Ahab, the grief as she discusses Queequeg and the hope as she sees Queequeg again, and OF COURSE WHEN SHE GOES AHAB MODE! Bravo Jang Ye-na, you carried this Canto through its weaker moments and helped the best ones become my favorite moments in this game.
Next, Ahab. I liked her a lot, fucking awful captain woman who reminds me of my old pastors. GOOD JOB MAKING THIS A FUCKING HORROR GAME THIS BITCH SCARES ME! I wish we could have seen more of her (and maybe we will in the future) because what we got was incredible. I was expecting a shitty boss but instead got another fucking cult leader. Her design is also a solid mirror to Ishmael's, further emphasizing the point that they are becoming more alike as this stuff goes on AND making the moment where Ishmael breaks the cycle of hatred more impactful. She is an incredible mirror of what happens where you allow hatred to consume you entirely, and the VA really reflects that. The only complaint I kinda have is that she probably should have been a lot more morally grey than she was. I feel like we just kinda got Kromer version 2 in terms of the role she played in the story and in Ishmael's life, granted that might change in the future so I will be very happy to be wrong if that's the case. But after Dongrang, I was expecting something a little more sympathetic or at least nuanced than 'evil cult leader captain lady hates that fucking whale and will kill her crew and makes that abundantly clear'. Again, I do like what we got so I can't complain too much but still.
I LOVE THAT BIG FUCKING WHALE! SCARY FUCKING BIG WHALE COMETH! ELDRITCH WHALE!
The Indigo Elder is so fucking cool. I wish he were here for more than 3 minutes and actually had something to do. They really introduced a man by having him tear the arm off the guy who we were struggling to survive against, said he was a Color and that he killed another Calamity, teased this really cool plan, and then...he's just waiting outside presumably 1v1-ing the whale but we get to neither see nor hear about it at all. I hope he comes back and we can see him do cool shit, because we had an incredible set-up with mediocre pay-off.
Ishmael's crew...I loved them so much I wish they were in the Canto for more than 1 level. They should have been introduced MUCH EARLIER in order to have their deaths have more of an impact. We should have been in the whale for longer, even if it meant shortening other parts of the chapter, just for the crew. Because those are Ishmael's ties and these are the people who Ahab's hatred is robbing the world of. What we did get of them was very strong, but Starbuck and Pip got nothing in terms of character moment and time. Queequeg got a little bit more (by the way I love that Queequeg actually looked like the design team at least LOOKED at a Polynesian person, I'm so jaded from other gacha games that I'm thrilled somebody actually looks like they're from the culture they're inspired from. She looks like a buffer, female version of one of my Polynesian neighbors it's great.) and it made her feel a lot more developed. She was a solid adaptation of Queequeg and her relationship with Ishmael was so sweet. The moments we got of them together were some of the highlights and it made me really want them to manage to escape together. Of course that was never gonna happen, but still. I also don't like how we don't even see Queequeg and Starbuck die. Are we supposed to assume Ahab killed them to manifest the ego? Did we kill them? I see some criticism around the fact that they stood by Ahab's side at the end and wondering why they did that. And I get that criticism because it is weird, but also that's just kinda what cult leaders can do especially when they're the only reason you've been alive for however long + you're slowly being overtaken by BAD WHALE JUICE. I 100% buy that they chose to follow the Captain because the Captain is always right and even when She does horrible things Her understanding is elevated above ours. And if Her fight is our fight, then surely it is ok for us to die here.
I feel like this is also a criticism that only I care about but why is the story suddenly like 'oh revenge is bad don't do revenge'? Like, I get it revenge is bad and that was kinda the point of Moby Dick. BUT WE HAVE LITERALLY DONE SO MUCH REVENGE AND REVENGE WAS KINDA SINCLAIR'S WHOLE THING AND IT'S PROBABLY GONNA BE HEATHCLIFF'S! Why is revenge suddenly bad and 'oh no it makes you just like the other person' no it does not Sinclair did not suddenly become genocidal because he kept trying to murder Kromer. Is revenge only bad when it's successful? IDK, I just hate narrative inconsistency and this immediately jumped out at me.
Overall, I really liked this Canto! I have my problems with it, but they are relatively minor compared to all it does well.

Dear Yu-Gi-Oh fans, Nobody Cares
Who even cares what you have to say anymore?
We can't stand your inflated egos and the stereotypes you embody. We hate your egos.
You want all Yu-Gi-Oh! shows to have ups and downs but still be united under one regime, like some kind of North Korean dictatorship you admire.
This is what happens when you use mental gymnastics to avoid basic critical thinking. Most fans are right about your egos—you just can’t let one show have its spotlight.
You say Zexal is peak, but what happened to 5D's or GX? You can’t allow them their due respect because, just like assholes, you can’t stand anyone else getting attention.
You blame everything on 4Kids just to justify your own bias and make yourself feel relevant in today’s world. Just admit it—it’s a localized company, for crying out loud!
You prefer the card game over the anime, the same way Hollywood prefers to appear "woke" rather than make smart decisions, especially in the 2024 election.
You like to call Yu-Gi-Oh! silly and stupid as a card game anime, yet every single word you've said is even sillier and stupider. People are clearly fed up with this nonsense.
You want to gatekeep the fandom and make it a constant "happy place," but when the sledgehammer of truth breaks it down, it will ensure it never gets reconstructed again.
You say Yu-Gi-Oh! girls were mistreated in the Gallop anime, and you demand that they be strong and independent. But the moment you see the Rush girls in the current era, you get furious—like a woke liberal losing it over a Trump tweet about why America failed.
It’s almost as ridiculous as laughing at the Los Angeles fires while claiming you hate God, only to turn around and give Him zero points at the Emmys.
You claim you can’t watch Yu-Gi-Oh! on Netflix but refuse to use pirate websites because it would make you look weak or because you think it’s supporting illegal activity. Meanwhile, there’s no other alternative. Do you also hate European fans who have their own way of watching and chilling with Yu-Gi-Oh! just because you can’t stand their egos either?
Show some humility before trying to make me feel like I’m the victim here. I’ve been happily watching Yu-Gi-Oh! without being a negative Nancy like MangaClown was to 5D’s and GX in the past. That guy is just another American obsessed with media and literacy instead of being a casual fan like the rest of us.
Nobody cares about media or literacy; we just want to chill. But Yu-Gi-Oh! fans love to act like dirty pigs, tearing everything apart. If Trump had created Yu-Gi-Oh!, you fans would shred him until the end of time. Let’s face it: Yu-Gi-Oh! fans are some of the most toxic and negative towards each other. And yes, I’m no exception. I’m not standing out—I’m just pointing out the truth.
I’ve always been smarter and more advanced because I never cared about fandom purity groups. I’m more macho than you because I don’t need a textbook to tell me how to watch the anime or play the card game. I’ve always been my own person.
YouTube fans of Yu-Gi-Oh! love to analyze what made the game broken or bad, but they forget the bigger picture. What really bugs me is that people still think Yu-Gi-Oh! is just about the cards and not about the story. You pigs forgot to even read it. The whole "Yu-Gi-Oh! fans can’t read" joke feels symbolic of how behind this community is—not by 20 years, but maybe even 5,000 years. We can’t evolve when new things come and go.
I won’t bend the knee or ask for forgiveness for something like this. Back in 2015, people sent me death threats just because I bashed Zexal. I hated Yuma and called Zexal II a living nightmare of bad writing. But that’s on you, not me.
I’ve always hated Zexal because it felt more like a mixed bag than a true anime or original product. People keep trying to mislead others by lumping Zexal in with the original trilogy (DM, GX, and 5D’s), but it’s not part of that legacy. Zexal was just a modern Duel Monsters knockoff that nobody liked.
Meanwhile, fans of Arc-V, VRAINS, and the Rush era are still furious their shows don’t get the same hype in America, even though Japan loves them. Honestly, it’s no loss for Americans, who just care more about action movies than watching a good cartoon once in a while.
And if fans claim I have divided opinions about an anime, it just means they’re triggered—just like how Trump triggered the Democratic Party back in 2015.
If you prefer mainstream media in America over quality shows in my world, then you’re just an average consumer more focused on binge-watching than actually learning anything.
You claim the humility in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal is peak writing, but that show is entirely based on cringe and LGBTQ+ propaganda. And when you tell people to stop overanalyzing and not call The Dark Side of Dimensions bad, that’s exactly why I’m here to roast this fandom.
Anyway, that’s all I have to say.

Hey after the book and your response with the additions, what do you think of the following bit from the movie (COTBP) "You are without doubt the worst pirate I've heard of" "BUT you've heard of me" -> Watching it now, I think maybe Norrington's response was not only so explosive on the fact Jack is a pirate, but on WHICH pirate. Jack just reminded him of THAT moment again, and taunted him with it?
Oh, what an interesting question! ♥️
I can say that Sins of the father was, huh, mind-blowing!
I remember that before reading that book and even before shipping Sparrington, the scene you mentioned was a real SOMETHING to me. Like, I felt that there were some sparks, fire even, between Jack and James. Some strange (but fascinating) energy. These two are just like magnets, aren't they? So, not knowing facts from the book, I thought then that Jamie and Jack were fascinated with each other. Or: hypnotized by each other. I mean that kind of tension and magic between enemies (or just: opponents) who "can't exist without each other", whose paths are crossed, who are curious about each other and who, surprisingly (for them especially 😂), find some amusement and pleasure in their interaction.
This James' line came after he searched Jack's stuff. I thought that he just wanted to add something extra to his "you and your broken compass, ooo your sword isn't made of wood, can't be!". That he was in his "may I interest you in another sarcastic comment" mood 😉 And that he wanted to play with Jack a bit.
He said he heard of Captain Jack Sparrow but I just assumed that Jack was so super famous (the seven seas celebrity or something like that) that everybody heard of him. For sure every sailor, like James. And Jack's answer, "but you've heard of me" was like a bit of "you may say I'm the worst but ha! you know my name so, still, I'M FAMOUS baby" and a huge "now mouse wanna play with a cat". They both love ripostes and both love to have the final say 😄
Soon I heard there a lot of flirting, A LOT! And somehow I started shipping them.
But after reading the book? Whoah. I still think that they're flirting. But speaking about the "heard of me" part... I don't know, dear, I don't know! I mean, nothing is sure there and it's so intriguing.
Cause... Gosh!
Sometimes I think that James heard of "some Captain Sparrow" but he didn't remember that he already met that Sparrow all those years ago. Didn't remember or maybe his brain "blocked" that memory (after childhood trauma, ptsd... who knows). And Jack remembers all (and for sure when he hears "James Norrington" he's like "oh so that must be that little Lawrence's boy") but says nothing about their past cause he sees that James can't remember and Jack doesn't want to wake James' demons and bring him such pain.
But sometimes I also wonder: what if James remembers ALL? And only pretends in front of Jack, is like "I've never seen this man before!". Cause memories are still too painful? Cause he doesn't want to feel this again: shame, weakness, guilt and all that love/hate? - "I'm grateful cause this pirate and his father saved my life" and "but oh how I hate to feel it, how I hate my father yelling that I should have been dead!". Cause it's easier to "not remember", easier to "hate" Jack? Or maybe he just doesn't know what to say and hopes that Jack will never mention the past? And Jack? Maybe he too doesn't want to talk about it, maybe he doesn't want to be the first to start such talk? So they both are like "oh, okay, he pretends he doesn't know me so let's play his game".
Or... Maybe, as you said, they both are dropping hints in that scene? They are like "let's see how much you remember", "let me remind you...", "we know well who we are, baby, right". And they are playing some game indeed. Two damn crouching tigers, hidden dragons!
All I'm sure about is that James must remember some moments from That Day. For sure he remembers what his asshole father told him That Day cause in the movies he's literally citing those words:
Think again, Miss Swann. Vile creatures, the lot of them. I intend to see to it that any man who sails under a pirate flag gets what he deserves. A short drop and a sudden stop.
and here he's mirroring Lawrence's "I'd rather see my son at the bottom of the sea than him being saved by a pirate":
I'd rather see her [own ship] at the bottom of the ocean than in the hands of a pirate.
(gosh, I'm sorry if this answer is too messy - sometimes I think chaotically 😅)

as a bitch who read the story of mary read and anne bonny when i was but a child learning that pirates Were Real, seeing them through the lens of ofmd is so Good for me.
like, it has been said, and i fully agree, that Mary and Anne are supposed to show us one of the ways the "running away to China" thing could have went for them. I also think that is why we meet Zheng Yi Sao in this season, she has literally just taken over China, to the point that we see stede hit that realization of "join or die".
BUT Anne and Mary mean so much to me. Mary, the representation of Ed, meets him in the forest. She kills his new friend, the Rabbit, and then inserts herself into the reconnection. Their meeting is doused in the harsh reality. Meanwhile, Stede meets Anne at the antiques, they bond over lovely things. They are far removed from this "reality".
Mary and Anne are so Toxic, which wlw rights. But we can see how intensely they are burned into one another. They have been on this island for who knows how long, based on the sheer Number of things that Anne has surrounding them. Mary hunts, and thinks Anne is just lavishing. Anne watches her pretty things and pushes as much as she can, while implying that Mary has turned from her.
when Anne pushed Stede about "Eddie letting him go", she (like they do the whole episode) is pushing her feelings onto him. they are sure there is some hate there but as an intense Need to be acknowledged
they are bored, they ran on a whim and now have this built resentment. Mary thinks they are staying with the things for Anne, Anne thinks they are staying because Mary feels like she can't return to the sea.
they both Miss it, and perhaps it is due to them thinking it was where their love was real or maybe it is a genuine restlessness, but it is true.
and as Mary snarls at Ed and Stede that they have an "adult relationship" as if all relationships go the way of chasing a high and hating one another as much as loving one another. Anne pushes. She burns their lives to the ground. All the things that she suddenly thinks Mary believes Anne loves more than her, ruined and destroyed. they embrace in the middle of a burning building.
their game is still in play, but the look on Mary's face when she realizes that Anne actually did it, they suddenly have this rush of a good actual try. maybe it will be for naught, poisonings and stabbings might follow them on board, but in that single moment, i saw the rush of the unexpected.
Mary felt like she knew it all about Anne. They had been together for ages, but in the moment, something she fully believed she knew had come up false.
And isn't that so exceptionally fascinating?
#ofmd#ofmd spoilers#ofmd s2#annemary#anne bonny#mary read#i think they are going to join up with the pirate queen and come back ready to rain Hell#god i love them#wait until i go in on the methods they used to hurt one another and how i think it shows what they think the other is impressed by

Omg!! I'm so late! work kept me busy 😭 but I wanted to reply to your last message! regarding hetalia and such!
Going back to the hetalia fandom it's like coming home after a while <33 and Personally my favourite female characters are Seychelles, Liechtenstein, Belgium and Belarus (Belarus is low-key yandere for her brother and Unhinged omg),
Did you have or should I say do have any ships you like ? maybe with England since he is your favourite? I'm much more into rare pairs/ships which means there isn't much content of them 😭 like : England x Seychelles (because their interaction in Gakuen Hetalia was cute and funny ♡) or Iceland x Seychelles (I adore opposite-attract 🥺 💛 Iceland is more reserved while Seychelles is more outgoing and now imagine Seychelles helping Iceland coming out of his shell or Iceland cooling down Seychelles! ♡) lol can you tell I like Seychelles??
Nyo France is a charming lady ❤ I like your taste 🤌Personally I also like Nyo America (I love my tomboy princess) and nyo Italy/Romano such babes, Nyo Finland looks cute but will kick your Ass 💪❤
Also, Pirate England and Pirate Spain are Hot af 👌That's all I want to say haha (or even viking nordics 👀)
And Omg I'm actually currently obsessed with Danganronpa! 😭 In fact my profile picture is sonia nevermind bc she's one of my favourites! Which characters do you like the most?? 👀 are there any moments in the game you liked/saddened you the most ? (like favourite character dying 😭)
As for mystic messenger! did you ever notice how similar looking Saeran/Ray and Rollo look like? maybe it's the eyebags but seriously the first time I saw Rollo in twst I thought "Ray what are you doing in twst?? leave me alone, I'm not into you anymore 😭" but not only the physical Apperance both of their characters are kind of similar? I mean Ray is literally in a cult and Rollo is well you know based of an Disney villian who's religious corrupted sooooo yeah! but Saeran/ray/unknown has such yandere tendencies! and yes that one jumin ending omg! 😭 Yoosung is a cutie 💓 and well jaehee keeps us in the friendzone 💀
And Obey me! Asdfghjklöä! while writing this Obey me nightbringer came out! 🎉 I see you like Mammon 😂 seems like you like Greedy Demon and Octopus 🤌 only difference the Octopus is successful business owner and well..... the demon is constantly broke, so broke in fact the steals from his brothers 💀 I can also totally see Idia and Leviathan (maybe yoosung too??) bounding over videogames or hating the normies together 💀 (and maybe talking about having a certain crush on a certain MC 👀👀) they sure would make great frenemies 😂😂 Also Satan reminds me of APH England 💀💀 maybe its the hair colour?? the colour green?? or maybe the small same similarities personality wise?? but omg I can't unsee it now 💀 And AHEM Jade and barbatos, I don’t think I need to say anything else but yeah they also have the almost same hairstyle!!
Ooooh but can you imagine the Twst Characters as Sins?? Like Riddle = Wrath, Leona = Sloth, Azul = Greed, Jamil = Envy, Vil = lust, Idia = ??? Gluttony??, Malleus = Pride!
Oooh yes Omori is such an interesting and Deep game I would recommend you to play it 🌟
Anyway, take good care of you and drink a lot of water! I've seen that you have lots of unfinished Luna love hotel requests and different ideas/fics you want to write! take your time and don't stress yourself or burn yourself out! writing is suppose to be fun, I hope your not overdoing it 🙏
Take Care 🤟 Anon 🌸
Hello again, 🌸 anon!!! I'm also quite late to respond, but omg you have good taste in female characters! Seychelles was a sweetheart and I liked her character a lot, too!! As for ships, I didn't really have any, but I did enjoy the interactions between Germany and Italy! It's very funny and cute. <3 and aaaaaa nyo!America is also a very nice design!!! Wonderful taste once again hehe. I love her tomboy look!!! >0< and nyo!Italy and nyo!Finland are also both so pretty!!!
Pirate England and pirate Spain..... AAAAAA orz and the viking nordics omg omg!!!! The amount of fanfics I used to read with them... too many to count. I remember there was a time I read too many pirate England fics that I ended up dreaming about him LOL. I think I was a stowaway on his ship, but the entirety of that dream was essentially England and Spain fighting over who got the rights to own me????? ^^;;;; I couldn't begin to explain it if I wanted to.
Sonia!!!! I like her a lot!!!! Additionally, I also like Shuichi, Kokichi, Kaede, and Hagakure! I thought Aoi and Sakura's friendship was very endearing, so Sakura's death crushed me the most in the first game. It's always painful being a Danganronpa fan because your favorite character has the possibility of getting killed and that's the worst feeling. </3
AAAAAAA Mystic Messenger....... every summer, I play it just so I can get more hourglasses to finally unlock Saeran's route. I'm vaguely familiar with what happens, but even so I need to play it. T_T the same goes for Jumin's route. I want that bad ending!!!! OTL I have played Zen's route so many times in the past because he gives the most hourglasses. He's so engraved in my brain hehe. <3 I love him. And Jaehee!!!! When I played her route, I kept thinking, "Why does she keep friend-zoning us? We're so obviously in love." >:( let Jaehee love the player!!! It's what she deserves. <3 aaaa and Yoosung!! He's the cutest. :D
Mammon is my number one!!!! Something about greedy and pathetic men is just so *chef's kiss,* so it makes sense I'd inevitably simp for Mammon and Azul lol. But then Satan and Belphegor are so !!!!!! When the latter was manipulating us and planning to trick us all along when we found him in the attic. :) oooooo he's the worst. I need him. I should play Obey Me again just to see Mammon and Belphegor hehe. I have no idea what is happening in the story now, but I heard there were new characters added and I also saw a few things regarding Nightbringer! Omg but your comments on Jade and Barbatos... I need them to sit down and have tea together to see who can out-babygirl the other. >:) and if memory serves, Barbatos can see into the future or foretell all possible timelines? If that's the case, WOOOOOOO the yandere potential!!!! orz
Also, the twst characters as the seven deadly sins is such a fun thought to entertain. <3 you're giving me so much brain rot... orz
Thank you for your kind words!!! I will make sure to take care of myself and drink water! Please do the same as well! :D though there are many things I want to write, I am pacing myself and focusing on one fic at a time. ^0^
#chit chat#🌸 anon#forgive how late i am to reply to your message... T^T#but it's fun to discuss many different things at once hehe#i hope you are doing well dearest 🌸 anon!!!!! take care of yourself!

For the full On the Sea of Crises OST for @birdblacksocialclub I genuinely tried to nail the medieval vibe, mostly tavern rather than epic music because as you can see in the fic here, being stuck in jail fits more of the tavern vibe than the grand scale of epic battlefields and such.
This is the break down of my fan made piece for OTSOC.
Going into this I knew two (2) things about pirate music:
Everything is in the key of D minor. Why? I have no idea. Even The Pirates of the Caribbean's main theme follows this sacred law.
6/8 time is your best friend for pirates. This gives more of the rocky boat feel (but again, I do not know the history behind it). Technically drinking music follows this too! Only with 3/4 time. Fun Fact: The Star Spangled Banner is actually one note off from a British drinking song.
Okay back on topic.
I used those two laws for both piano pieces I made for the OTSOC a while ago. Messing with time and key signatures is fun! It changes the entire mood of Crisis Core's main theme and even Those Chosen by the Planet. So, after researching how to make medieval music through a couple of youtube videos and too much googling for appropriate instruments, I went off.
0:00 - I started with just a drum, tambourine, and a couple of strings playing a basic rhythm to build up. In OTSOC, the first thing you see is Tifa yelling at a guard. I couldn't go straight into Crisis Core's main theme without the man of the hour, Genesis Rhapsodos, appearing in frame. (or the frame equivalent of a comic... a panel?)
0:18 - The melody of Crisis Core's main theme/The SOLDIER Way finally kicks in on violin! But ALSO (what I learned from my many youtube videos), medieval music likes to have counter melodies/harmonies. So though the violin takes the reigns, the flute is playing Roaming in the Afternoon Sun, a song most CC players will recognize from the 3,000 side missions in this game.
0:53 - I give into antient peer pressure with a motif from the final boss theme by giving it to the LUTE. The almighty medieval instrument many know due to its popularity in fantasy settings as well! Taverns always love a good lute! (And so do prisons I guess) The moving baseline on the harp and cello was just for fun. This quiet drop and BEING the final boss theme is (supposed to) line up with Genesis's introduction! He likes his drama and DRAMA means Dynamics must Change!
1:25 - The flashback to Shinra Tower in flames. A bad memory for most, a big moment for our crimson boy. Many walked away injured, but despite the chaos and victory, Sephiroth disappeared some unexplained time after. I can't imagine the news painting that in a good light, and Tifa received this information second hand.
1:36 - A combination of CC's main theme on the flute and Roaming in the Afternoon Sun on the violin, before changing the violin to The Price of Freedom. Obviously Genesis is in Jail now, but he looks like he's having a fun time flirting with the girl he is now stuck with. This continues throughout their flirting.
2:21 - Uh oh. He is coming.
2:27 - The opening of One Winged Angel. Except with the instruments I chose, it sounds more like the rail road crossing alarm when a train goes by (note: this comment has nothing to do with the fic). This is where Genesis (or really his mind) is sucked into the 'Other' World.
2:33 - Obviously this Other World should feel, well, OTHER. So I hope you enjoyed your time with real/pirate instruments, we are now in synthesizer and piano territory, with a couple of other instruments for that tasty flavor. Genesis is in another world. He has absolutely no control. He clearly hates this Other!Sephiroth but can't prevent the Cecaelia from slithering his many tentacles around him as restraints. Other!Sephiroth is toying with Genesis, but it's always smooth, never harsh, always alluring and dragging you (yes you the reader) in. Lastly there is a motif of J-E-N-O-V-A underlying just enough to remind you/Genesis that she's watching. And if I may assume, always watching in this world.
(side comment: 2:33 the One Winged Angel section gives me vibes of FFXV's dungeon theme Unsettling Aura but that's only because of the constant piano driving throughout the rest of the piece)
2:55 - Other!Sephiroth is clearly speaking to something else as well as to Genesis and that should set off some RED FLAGS (or more rail road warnings). This is to make you concerned and feel the OWA again. Interruptions are so distracting, aren't they?
3:00 - J-E-N-O-V-A takes over and you hear it through the end. Everything is uncomfortable and dissonant and wrong and perfect. The last note doesn't resolve because this quest is far from over. The threat is far from over.
"...For you are beloved by the Goddess. And it is almost time to come home to her, Genesis." - Other!Sephiroth
.
...Bottom line, I had a lot of fun making this! This was just a fun little project for one of my favorite fics and writers. It gave me a chance to expand my horizons and hopefully put a smile on said writer's face.
Please check out basically any work by @birdblacksocialclub because she is fantastic!

Like a Dragon: Yakuza - Preface
With the upcoming Like a Dragon show on Amazon Prime, I intend to do reviews of the episodes as they release. Before that however, I'd like to chronicle my feelings about the show from its announcement to its premier.
Now, if you know me in real life - which I certainly hope none of you reading this does - you might have heard me say that I looking forward to hating this show. That is unfair and I would like to retract that, but the place that comment came from is still very real. In my opinion, love and hate is not a linear gradient but rather a circle that meets at the outermost points. So it's not hard to slip from a place of extreme love to extreme hate. And in the lead up to the Amazon series, I have felt myself violently bounce back a forth between this line. Maybe I'm just a little too obsessed with this franchise at the moment, but the heart makes it's own rules.
Anyway... long text below.
To start from the beginning, I was very excited when the show was first announced. I dislike the notion that movies or TV-shows are the superior mediums that all lesser mediums must strive to become - games, books, plays, ect. But none the less it might still be cool, right? The RGG games have always felt like playable action movies, so the adaption could in theory be very painless.
Then Kiryu's actor was announced and he did a ceremony where he had to dot the eyes of Kiryu's dragon tattoo. Here he decided to give the dragon three eyes with an extra on on its glabella?

And all I could think was "... this is the exact kind of himbo energy you need to bring to the character. I love it."
More info was released such as the show wouldn't feature any substory shenanigans or karaoke, which is a bummer. The side content adds to the spirit of the games as much as the main stories. I wasn't expecting adult babies or "How to train your dominatrix", but a lot of Kiryu's sweeter and more playful side only gets to shine through in the side stories. But apparently the show is an adaptation of Yakuza 1 and not Kiwami, where these things did not appear.
Masayoshi Yokoyama did an interview where he sang the show's praises and this furthered my excitement. Especially the point about him being jealous at some of the choices being made in the show.
But in hindsight I realise that he holds a share in the shows success. During a press junket an actor can't say "I hated working on this movie, it sucks" and they have to sit on those emotions until they can't hurt the movies performance. Likewise is Yokoyama a part of the show's PR and cannot necessarily speak candidly on it. So take his words with a grain of salt.
The next day IGN released an interview with the two main actors, Ryoma Takeuchi and Kento Kaku. The interviewer was thrilled to hear their opinions on the games only to realise they have been instructed not to interact with the source material at all. The show's creator had his own vision and wished for the actors to be receptive to that. I get it, but that came as quite a blow to me. It's pretty ballsy for the director to believe they can bring these characters to life through their directing alone. The results will speak for themselves, I guess, but at this point my scepticism is greater than ever.
Around this time a lot of people start to comment on the actors appearances and physical builds. I will have none of that. The story and characters does not suffer from Takeuchi not being a 2 meter ogre of pure muscle. Frankly it's a little refreshing after a lot of other media has been drowning in steroid-pumped Marvel heroes and the like.
At the RGG Summit we saw the reveal of "Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii". The voice and face actors for the new cast appeared on stage to talk about it and towards the end a new teaser for the TV-show was shown. And hang on...
TV-Majima's actor plays a supporting role in the Majima Gaiden game?! Well, he can't exactly say he's a clean slate when it comes to the characters. He even mentions how he has watched a bunch of Hidenari Ugaki's performance as preparation. So now I'm confident that a least one part of the series is going to be good.
In the same teaser I also noticed shots with a two-eyed Majima hanging out with a long-haired buddy and them having a big shootout in Theatre Square. If this is a retcon of Saejima's suicide mission from Yakuza 4, that means the show is pulling plot lines from across the game series. If you are already changing the story, then by all means grab the best parts across the whole aisle!
One question I'm still constantly asking is... where's Haruka? If the story is set to focus on the characters' development, then little miss Sawamura is the most important part of the story, no? And my heart almost shattered when I say this image:

I had already heard that a new, original female character would appear in the show, but surely she isn't taking Haruka's place, right? This is a make-or-break point for me and if they truly have replaced the-girl-worth-10-billion-yen, then I don't know if any amount of other cool decisions will ever make up for it.
Many more photos and shots have been released, but I'm checked out until the show itself starts next week. Here's hoping all the best.

He stares at her for too long A man lost at sea, searching for the speck on the horizon that might have him sailing towards land. He can't let Nisha be his lighthouse, but god, he's seen only her and her moments of light in the past months that he's beginning not to care. Stubborn hasn't gotten him fed, pride hasn't freed him from the binds. He's fighting, knowing it'll earn him more quiet; more time with the voices in his head, taunting him for always losing against this beast. Telling him to eradicate the sensation of feeling, or emotion; to become cold; it's freeing too
To beat a creature like her, he has to become one. It's the only sane thought he thinks he's had in weeks. Because he's still not any more a man down here, even as the water laps at his skin, washing him of his time surviving the ocean; drowning a hundred times over, resurfacing as a pirate of lesser morals. The feeling of losing his mind fleets by his thoughts. She wouldn't allow him to die but she'd inform his sisters of his demise.
He hasn't got the strength to spit in her face, but he considers it.
She still speaks of them like it's okay; she's been using them as leverage since he's known her. It's her victory card, no matter what move or countercard Reid plays, she's got one better. He only wishes he could find a barrier between them and her so he can play a game of wits and not be inevitably put in checkmate every time.
"It must get boring." He mutters, "Watching them, so you can keep me compliant."
And after his face contorts in surprise, he twists to better look at her. There's hesitation when she agrees to leave a shackle off. He wonders what her angle for it is. And if anyone else, he'd have thanked her, with the briefest moment of relief. He moves his head, exposing his throat; wincing when she scrubs the debris from every part she could find. Reid finds that his muscles don't feel so taut, when clean of the clotted dirt that had built up. That, or he notices the blood she's fed him actually does something substantial in the way of relief.
"If I turned around and asked you now what the positives are, that I wanted all you offer, you'd not believe me." It's not even worth a lie. He can't picture Eleazar in his position, chained and begging for freedom or quiet and resilient and saying nothing to anger her captor. Reid doesn't know her history, or even what era she's parasitically survived the centuries from. But she's always been stronger; she beat him when he was at his best. There's no besting her when he's at his worst.
Maybe there's a different definition of that.
"What can I do to convince you to release me?" He hates that it's begging, but it's on the ground whilst she washes him, chained and still starving. "Tell me. I'll do it. You said it isn't a constant but you're making it difficult to believe. You're a liar." It's broken — his voice cracks behind old anger and pain. He feels less like a man, here. "I don't know what you want. But you can use your words and tell me." a beat, "I don't know where you came from — but I wouldn't do this to someone, I wouldn't even do this to a bloodsucker. You, whoever your sire is, you're the same breed of monster."
Reid's realising, he's desperate not to become the same.
"I'd inform them." Nisha muttered as she continued to wipe of the dirt and grime from his skin. She knew that she should have done this sooner -- kept him cleaner. But she'd thought leaving him here without the basics of what he'd need would break him sooner. That Reid would have realized quicker what this was. "Not that it would ever happen. I wouldn't allow it." Dying was not on the agenda for either of them. Now or ever. Of course, mistakes and accidents could happen. But Nisha would protect Reid from anyone, especially himself. "I am not talking as if I know them personally. I don't. I know what they do. I know which one is an active hunter and which one isn't." Not that she had to explain herself. She didn't. "I've watched them. You've avoided them up until recently. It's as simple as that."
He knew her well enough to know that she was observant. That Nisha would use anyone and everyone to her advantage, if needed.
At his question, she nodded and then: "Yes. For now." Nisha then started humming softly as she continued to wipe off his skin. Up around his neck, his shoulders, and then down to his lower back. She knew that he wasn't strong enough to do damage to her but the chains had a purpose. To show him that he wasn't the one in control here. "That isn't the goal." She informed him. "I want you to be comfortable with the life I've given you. I don't necessarily care if you're happy -- although, that would be preferred. But I want you to adjust to it. I want you to see the positives to it. And, eventually, peacefulness could come, I suppose." Nisha shrugged her shoulders. "As much as I'm using some old tactics from my own sire, this is not going to be your constant like it was mine."

Why I love sonadow
(Haven't talked about/posted about my love of sonic on this blog but go figures I'd write about my fav ship first before literally anything else-)
So this is mostly a ramble, but I a few points to make on why exactly why I love this ship and just basically rambling about every little details that make the ship so lovable in the first place.
So for starters, I love this ship, and I'm willing to sail on it till it sinks. I find their dynamic quite entertaining as the two work as a competitive duo, have a really nice dynamic, and the two are pretty similar in terms of ideals and the fact that it's very much hammered in that shadow is one, if not maybe the only one, who is only equal playing field with sonic. I find that it's very refreshing to see someone who isn't always left behind his trail, and can actually keep up and even RIVAL that of sonic.
After the events of SA2 what started my true love for this ship statted to form. It was during the very final ending. (Of course the small seeds of banter and how sonic would influence shadow to slowly becoming his best self as well as shadow slowly gaining respect for the blue blur also made me love it-but this is what got me on board y'know?)
-I remember the fight where sonic and shadow team up to defeat the bio-lizard and I loved the cute little lines the two shared during the battle.
Sonic's little "are you okay?" And "you need rest! Let me handle this!" lines are just so wholesome- it's just a cute detail that I feel gets overlooked. You usually don't see these sides of sonic anymore, and it's so hilarious that he's saying this all while shadow is too busy monolouging- it's so sweet.
I find it very endearing that even though he should be focusing on defeating the bio-lizard like shadow is, he just spends his time worrying about shadows wellbeing. (Shadow does the same for sonic, just less often.)
Also, during the sonic q&a shadow's treasured moments is of sonic attempting to save him which I find also very endearing. (Sonic's reaction was also very cute.) Though the topic of sonadow was brought up and them immediately dismissed made me feel really sad, but I'm okay with that fact anyhow as I can understand why.
Theres also that one poster of shadow and sonic being a "swashbuckling duo" which I know everyone thinks about the "swashbuckling" part but they all skip over the "duo." Like, it's just those 2. There is a reality where these 2 are together, not only as pirates (MY FLAG MEANS DEATH-) but as a DUO??! Meaning not only are they working together on a LITERAL SHIP, but also- they are known to go swashbuckling adventures together. Also shadow is the captain and I can't state it enough how I love the fact that THIS IS A THINGGGG!!!!
(I know this is far fetched, but let's be real- the only pirates that exist in the sonic games are sonic rush. Hey, if there's 2 versions of sonic why not make it 3?)
Also, let's not forget sonic's "looking out the window scenes" and the his talk with Rouge about shadow (he called him a hero, and honestly that is the sweetest most saddest thing I've heard in very in a very long time), as well as his "sayonra shadow the hedgehog"
Rouge spent more time with shadow than sonic so understanbly she'd understand sonics sadness as these 2 have spent more time with shadow than anyone else (I'm not counting eggman, he is an enabler and helped lead shadow down a self-destrutive and literally destructive path. He doesn't count, not ever will he count.)
It's just Sonics tiny gestures of greif, like looking out through that window, the Sayanora when no one was around, the small "are you okay?" ,and sassy banter between the two is just so sweet, fun and entertaining to see.
(This is a bit more on shadow but I feel it's a necessary part into understanding why this works so well-)
Also, shadow's writing has been fluctuating in quality almost as much as sega's own games. It's safe to assume the consensus that shadow is the "angry edgelord who hates sonic for some random reason and always fights him beacuse bla bla bla" isn't very true and I feel like that idea is what really makes this ship weird for some other people. (Or it's just not the type of ship they'd like, which is fine by me.)
Shadow, to put it simple.. is a very compassionate character with a lot of trauma put on him. He didn't know how to handle/process that trauma, and spending like what? 50 years, trapped in an isolated cell, unaging, left alone with no one to help him escape, getting your memories tampered with, having your ego fed with the "ultimate lifeform" stuff, as well as having noway to talk, cope, or even process the fact that your best freind- the only person that has (to my knowledge) treated you like an actuall conscious being, that isn't a weapon or some science project to get some cure- just got murdered by you guessed it! Humans! Not to mention the leader of the "humans" aka the government led this???!!
It puts a pretty sour taste in your mouth if you ask me.
So when I see the edgelord shit really ticks me off. Beacuse at the end of it all, shadow isn't really sonic's rival (even that one Lego sonic spinoff game literally refers to shadow as sonic's "freind" along with amy, knuckles and tails like come ON people!!) He's just another one of his freinds.
Besides, shadows been through about mabye 3 whole identity crisises? Which in my book is more than enough for shadow to either be gay or trans(cis or not) and honestly it's quite fitting.
Not to mention, as a mlp fan, I have to say.. the amount of comparisons I can make to blue gay pony and the blue maybe gay hedgehog is far to many. (I mean for crying out loud- the chaos emeralds are literally the colors of the rainbow, and sonic is about a few furry points away from shoots rainbow lasers at his enemy's yknow?)
(Also the soundrack escape the city has "follow my rainbow" lyrics randomly in that track, and so I cant unhear/unsee the idea of like- running away from you home beacuse your not accepted or whatever- and it's all like "follow me" and "set me free" and what not and it just *chef kiss*! Like, yah foo! "Set me free" from the realityy~~ so we can bee togetherrr foreverrr~~?? Or somethimg??)
Also to drive this thing home, sonic is literally shadow's adventure.
Though it was thanks to his popularity that allowed him to revive from thy dead, I do think it was an understatement to say that in some ways he didn't have fun around sonic while he was alive.
The whole "faker" stuff was quite a fun banter in my opinion, and sonic is one of the most frequent non-team dark character shadow communicates with.
(Going on about the "faker" stuff: though I don't have any recollection or proof of it, but if shadow has infact called sonic "faker" atleast once, it's actually more endearing than as an insult he tries to pose it as. The whole conversation went as "faker? Your not even good enough to be my fake!" (Which is a hilarious way to say, "no u") so saying that would be admitting that sonic of all creatures has met the guy's standards.. Which I find oddly amusing.)
It's conversations where it's just the two of them (like the iconic "what you see is what you get!" Scene) where I see those cracks in his "too Kool 4 skool" and the "dark, mysterious edgy boy" persona fall.
Though the facade doesn't really start to fall apart until later on in the game (and never gets as far as Rouge and omega do) it's safe to say that makes sonic the 4th (well technically the 2nd or 1st) character that shadow might be okay with letting his guard down around.
I guess there's a part of me that really wants this to work. I like the pining aspect it brings, the angst and well as the wholesome. I like to see shadow happy, and I like to see sonic happy as well. What really got me going is the saying that they're equals in a way. They don't "complete" eachother but they complement eachother in a good way.
They're similar yet different, and their different views of the world can show the other another side, a darker and lighter side to the world they live in. Sonic gives shadow that light and shadow give sonic that dark. Yin & yang.
I don't think they HAVE to be romantic with eachother, I like the idea of it, (mostly beacuse I like picturing them watching late night movies together like the night owls I just know they are!) But them being freindly rivals everynow and then, or just freinds is good enough for me as well. ( I enjoy all sides of this sonadow pizza pie.)
I find it nice that they have this unstoppable duo vibe, like nothing can really take em down when they're together. I like the fact that (don't quote me on this as im sure where I heard it from-) at times it's said that even their thoughts catch up with one another (ADHD headcannon for sonic and ADD for shadoww~) and I find that they're just so in sync it's amusing.
Also I love thinking about sonic being this sassy, talkative, distracted mess of a hedgehog whilst shadow is the dresses to impress, not as talkative and probably hyperfocuses on way to much stuff, secretly a softie, also mess of a hedgehog. Add mess + mess = more mess and I love it! It's like a spaghetti and meatballs! Both make a big mess when handled improperly but when cooked by someone who knows what they're doing, it tastes delicious.
And that's my ted-talk on my little hyperfixation of my favorite ship. I needed to get it out and I hope maybe someone finds this and considers this maybe one of their favorites too!

I don’t know if anyone has yet brought up the Copperajah in the room yet, but…..thoughts on Archie/Team Aqua?
Archie... It's far easier for me to sum up my feelings on his team than the man himself. The team is a bunch of idiot pirates, as I have mentioned before, who just want to goof off.
Archie himself is smart. The only reason Team Aqua is of any threat is because Archie is a smart man enabling and directing the force of hundreds of idiots. It's a genius play, but it is a pain in the rear for us. I don't know if Archie really intends to drown everyone in the world and raise the tides, or if he is just playing a large scale game for the thrill of it.
There is another factor in my particular feelings on Archie. There is a nobility to him that his crew sorely lacks. I remember sitting in on the calls between him and my dad, and it was like watching a cartoon character, but then, something interesting happened.
He was in the base causing all sorts of havoc, as he had a tendency to do back in the day, and while he and my dad were battling and yelling at each other, I went to the waters edge (There is a sort of docking port in the base where the water is quite deep.) which I had been told explicitly not to do. There were cute pokémon, wailmers and sharpedo, and I wanted to see if the sharpedo really had sharp skin like I had read about (They do). Of course I over-reached to try to pat one on the nose, and of course I fell in. The sharpedo weren't attacking, but they were definitely curious. I don't think they meant any harm in biting me, they just don't have hands to poke at me with, you know?
Either way, I was a stupid child who didn't listen, and I can't swim, but moments later someone else jumps into the water and shoves all the pokémon off of me, and pulls me out of the water, back onto land. It was Archie, much to everyone's surprise, but he saved me, and just, deposits me in my dads arms, sopping wet.
He was completely serious in that moment, no character or anything, no funny pirate man. He's a complex character to be sure, and I don't think I hate him or anything. I think I would say that I respect him, no more and no less than that. I assume my father has a very similar opinion. He was fervently thanking him after pulling me out of the water. He did also slug Archie dead in the nose after that one time his grunts kidnapped me from school. So perhaps on second though, my dad's opinion may just break even, I'm not sure.
-
Unrelated note, but I love that terminology, the copperajah in the room, because it makes me think of copperajah. Absolutely terrifying pokémon, but so beautiful. Nature is fickle.

I can't undo you enjoying or loving the hp series. And nor can you yourself however
You can help
Buying hogwarts legacy
Pirating hogwarts legacy
Watching others playing hogwarts legacy
Cosplaying as any character from the hp universe
Role playing as any character from the hp universe
Writing fics, purchasing or creating fanart, fanedits. In fact, if you are doing anything that keeps her works alive, even if she isn't profiting from it then, no you don't get to pull the hate I hate JK Rowling but I love Harry Potter card. Let the series go.
The moment hogwarts legacy became a thing separate art from the artist no longer became possible.
Her previous racism should have been enough for people to move on and let it go, it wasn't.
Her transphobia should have been enough for people to let it go and move on, it wasn't.
If the HL a game where you can own a slave and is fantasy version The Protocols of the Elders of Zion isn't enough to keep that previous enjoyment purely to yourself and let it go then yes please unfollow me. But also drop the I don't support jkrowling thing.
If you aren't doing any of the things I listed then continue to follow me.

I have so many OCs, but I'll do two of my favorites.
Amunet Samira
Why that name?
The origin of her surname is Egyptian, meaning “The Hidden One”, which fits the lore that her island is hidden within the Red Line. The reason I named her Amunet Samira was because I wanted to do a throwback story to Alabasta, which was my favorite arc, but her lore changed over time.
Why that universe?
One Piece is my all-time favorite anime. I couldn't resist writing about it.
What's the song that speaks to you about them?
In Chains by Shaman's Harvest. The lyrics remind me so much of how Samira feels. She wants to be free from her chains; from the people who want to turn her into a weapon, and hopes that someday, someone will help her.
What's their favorite movie?
If modern movies existed in the OP universe, it would be a romantic comedy like “10 Things I Hate About You” or “The Princess Bride”.
What's their biggest regret?
She regrets running when she should have fought back.
What's their happiest moment?
Dancing with her older sister.
What's their favorite food?
Seafood with rice or pasta. And sweets.
Who do they love?
As time passes, she begins to fall for Trafalgar Law, who, after the events of her battle with her Nightmares, becomes her captain.
Who do they hate?
While she doesn't hate them, she is not fond of the people she refers to as her Nightmares (pirates who turned her people against her).
What are they good at?
Samira is a great dancer, and she is rather skilled with a bo staff.
What are they bad at?
Confronting her demons and controlling her Devil Fruit power.
Tell me the coolest thing about them that no one ever asks about.
Samira has Lunarian ancestry, but she's not able to self-ignite or control fire. All that was passed down to her from her father's side was her features.
Tell me the dumbest fucking shit they've messed up, or aren't good at.
Samira seems to attract bad luck, but that isn't exactly the reason chaos ensues when she's around. Her Devil Fruit power makes it so that she absorbs and houses chaos energy. When she gets upset, sometimes others are influenced by it.
Can I smooch them?
I think she'd love that.
–
Olivia ‘Liv’ McKenna
Why that name?
Her name came from the main character of IZombie Olivia Moore, which is a play on the words ‘Live More’. She was my favorite character in the series, and the play on words fit the OC, who fought throughout the series for her life.
Why that universe?
I always wanted to write a one-shot or a story for Far Cry 3. Vaas was one of my all-time favorite video game villains, so I gave it a try. Originally, Liv was a one-shot OC, which was the basis for Run Princess Run. I never intended to develop her more than I did, but she grew on me.
What's the song that speaks to you about them?
My Name is Dark (Art Mix) by Grimes. Liv's past was inspired heavily by the lyrics.
What's their favorite movie?
"The Thing" (1982). She's a film buff.
What's their biggest regret?
That she didn't make peace with her father.
What's their happiest moment?
Watching horror movies with her father and analyzing them.
What's their favorite food?
Pasta.
Who do they love?
While she's not in love with Vaas, Liv does have an unhealthy relationship with him. She can't deny that she finds him interesting.
Who do they hate?
Her worst enemy is herself.
What are they good at?
Photography and sharpshooting.
What are they bad at?
Reading other's intentions.
Tell me the coolest thing about them that no one ever asks about.
While it was brought up, Liv was born in Hope County Montana, the location of Far Cry 5. She was 13 when she moved, so she never met the Seed family, but she might have possibly babysat Rachel (Faith Seed), who would have been only 3 or 4 at the time.
Tell me the dumbest fucking shit they've messed up, or aren't good at.
One of her worst mess ups aside from her past was trusting Bambi “Buck” Hughes.
Can I smooch them?
Of course. She could use a smooch or a hug.
REBLOG THIS AND TELL ME ABOUT YOUR OC(s) IN THE TAGS
TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR OC(s)
If you don't know what to start with:

what's the song that speaks to you about them?
What's their favorite movie?
What's their biggest regret?
What's their HAPPIEST moment?
What's their favorite food?
Who do they love?
Who do they hate?
What are they good at?
What are they bad at?

Chandler Bing Being An Absolutely Perfect Father Long Before He Thought About Having Children

Chandler Bing is a father, he always has been. Often we talk about how Chandler has always been Joey's dad, and every so often he'll act like the father of his group of friends long before he becomes a father, long before he seriously considers becoming a father. Here is a compilation of moments limited to him taking care of the chick and the duck, already growing into the father he never had and always wanted, learning the skills he'd need to be the wonderful father he is to the group and to his own children.
Chandler as a present father, not only doing the hard work like running bath time, but enjoying it and making sure his kids enjoy it.
Chandler as a sympathetic father; he kisses scraped knees and checks for monsters under the bed and can't look when Monica takes the training wheels off Jack's bike for the first time.
Chandler Bing absolutely adored paternity leave, takes the day off work to watch school athletics carnivals and calls in sick when his children are so that he can spend the day with them.
Chandler as a fair disciplinarian; he hates confrontation, always has, but he will step in without qualms at the slightest show of disrespect between the twins or towards their mother. He doesn't like sending them to time outs too often but he will, and he'll expect an apology when time is up.
Chandler always wants a unified parental unit. He hates being the bearer of bad news, especially to his pouty-lipped little girl, so he tries to make sure it is always both himself and Monica delivering bad news, one of them stroking her hair providing comfort When she's older it should correlate to neither of them being known as the pushover parent. Should.
Chandler as the educator dad. His favourite aspect of their nightly routine is reading to his children as he tucks them into bed. Then, when they're old enough, them reading to him. He loves the look on their little faces as they sound out the words with his help, whether they're on the train into the city or on the couch at home. When they're older they'll come to him wanting help with their maths homework and their English essays and it amazes him that these. incredibly smart, beautiful children look to him for assistance.
Chandler as the supportive dad; he watches every living room dance concert and kitchen standup routine no matter how tired he is after a day from work. He makes it to every ballet recital and films every moment of awards ceremonies to he never forgets how talented his babies are.
Chandler as a playful father. Hide and seek, hopscotch, treasure hunts, tea parties, whatever the kids want to play he'll join in. And he cries when they're eleven and specifically ask him not to play pirate games with them even though he invented it for their fifth Halloween. ( I find it amazing that most people think of Chandler as consistently immature when it takes until season four to get a shot of him playing with the birds, up until then he's rushing them to the vet and giving baths and reprimanding them.
Chandler as a protective. Everything he does is designed to protect his children from the harsh reality of the world, even himself. He doesn't yell and doesn't get mad often, but he will when the twins explicitly break a rule he and Monica insist on for their safety. Like the time Jack had ridden his scooter down the street without a helmet because his friends were doing it. Monica had very nearly had a heart attack and Chandler hadn't freaked out like that in years. Or worse, when Erica butt heads with Monica about a party and he'd caught her at the front door trying to go anyway. He couldn't remember ever being that angry before. That afraid.
Chandler as an honest father. He's never been able to lie very well and that is no different when it comes to his children. He can lie to keep magic in their young lives, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. But he and Monica make sure they are as honest as they can be with their children, explaining what gifts they are in their lives and how they fought to be their parents, sitting them down and talking about bullying, about why Stevie is so sad and her dad won't come by anymore.
#so this is something he's teaching himself along the way and trying to learn to fill the void left by his own parents.)#remember this was the 90s before fur-babies was a term for pets#mondler#chandler and monica#friends tv#chandler bing#f.r.i.e.n.d.s#chandler as a dad#chandler bing is a father#chandler bing as a perfect father#chandler bing as a disciplinarian#chandler bing as a playful dad#chandler bing as a present dad#the chick and the duck#chandler bing can't lie#(Remember#Chandler didn't have a father figure in his life
