i'm making myself laugh thinking about this but I wholeheartedly believe madame morrible absolutely HATES the thought of glinda and elphaba being together like the mere mention of gelphie would probably send her into immediate cardiac arrest and it's not even because she's homophobic or anything I just fully believe she dislikes glinda so so much she's just like this is absolutely NOT happening in my house.
glinda and elphaba are having their gay ass moment and she's like "I sense a disturbance in the force; the wind is telling me those fucking lesbians are at it again."
like IK this woman hates to see glinda's fruity ass coming for several reasons but first and foremost I believe it's because she's so fucking ANNOYED by how much elphaba loves and cares for her, like this pink bitch is throwing a wrench in her plans just by EXISTING and being herself.

It's really interesting seeing people mostly interpret Sky and Viktor's relationship as romantic or her presence in the astral plane as literal.
To me, it's always been clear that Sky's connection to Viktor was one-sided and a sort of a crush or just genuinely her fangirling over Viktor. Even in the flashback scene, we see the curious way child Sky looks at Viktor, and then Viktor goes to chase his invention rather than go say hi. There's definitely something to be said about how Viktor's pursuit of his science and inventions leaves people he can build connections with behind or how the only meaningful, touch based relationship he has, either platonically or romantically, is with Jayce, but I digress.
Viktor's guilt about Sky is stronger than any feelings he might have had about her. When he fuses with the hexcore and Sky is in the astral plane and guiding him I see it not as literally Sky's spirit but more a subconscious part of Viktor's psyche itself and maybe the hexcore manipulating Viktor...
But at the end scene with Sky, when Viktor tells her he will miss their conversations, she says, 'No, you won't.' Now this is also correlating to Viktor giving up on humanity and his own humanity. So Sky might have been the metaphysical representation of Viktor's humanity. That's the shape and form of his humanity, manifesting through his guilt about Sky. When he loses her, he is physically losing his connection to humanity. It's only Jayce connecting to him as a person that's able to bring him out of his destructive view of humanity not being redeemed.
I have nothing against Sky, I think she was a important character for Viktor's development, but I don't see any romantic connection there and also believe that her presence with Viktor was more a manifestation of Viktor's humanity.

I think the reason people believe chuuya would be the more open and affectionate in soukoku (as like. A romantic relationship) is because they believe him to be the mentally stable one and i think the reason people seem to believe he’s one of the few “mentally stable” characters in bsd is because he does not let himself be seen as vulnerable, and the few times we do see him go through something genuinely horrible and having a moment of vulnerability he does not really have the time to truly process it and ends up “moving on” pretty quickly (for example when he was at the flags’ funeral and adam interrupted him, or how when the sheep betrayed him dazai was immediately at his side trying to convince him to join the pm). And even if he does process it and thinks “man that was pretty fucked up wasnt it” it is never shown on screen so i feel like a lot of viewers end up seeing it as him not being bothered by these events and just a pretty chill dude that doesnt wallow in grief or self pity. But i think him never wallowing in grief or self pity is kind of a problem because in the end all he is doing is suppressing all that trauma and not really trying to acknowledge it, but at the same time when he does he ends up pinning the blame on himself (how the sheeps betrayal was his fault, the flags dying because of him). I feel like this impacts how affectionate he is too because he has built up so many walls that at the point when the flags make a party to celebrate the one year anniversary of him joining the pm he gets suspicious, then surprised and then flustered and tries acting like he doesnt care about it. All this is to say that i think him believing he cant show weakness and has to maintain the facade of being “the strongest” makes him seem like some regular degular guy (if he’s not fighting dragons) ends up him getting viewed as some mentally stable, communicative guy with maaaybe just a bit of anger issues when in reality he got so embarrassed by dazai’s corny speech in mersault that he shot him in the head with a gun
#im sorry for rambling#this is such a jarbled mess but i had to get it off my chest#im not good at putting my thoughts into words#this isnt to say that i think dazai is any better#but if i had to choose… id say dazai would be the one giving love confession speeches#chuuya would get flustered and call that gay and dazai would opt out saying ‘ya thats pretty gay idk why i said that lmao’#i also think chuuya not having eccenticities or Traumatic Flashback Moments impacts this as well tbh#like yeah hes a minor character and it would also be silly of him to have Traumatic Flashabck Moments#during the Traumatic Moments (strombringer)#but him not having any eccentricities like dazais constant talks of suicide#or kyoukas and akutagawas uhh… oddly intense personalities? how the hell would you describe it?#or kaijis. well. mad scientist shtick#i feel like it makes him seem less traumatised by the events if that makes sense#sure hes kind of aggressive… but he’s usually mad at dazai so the whole ‘anger issues’ thing seems like just a chuuya thing with dazai#rather than a sort of defense mechanism#is anything im saying making any sense#i am a chuuya doesnt know how to show affection in a gentle way because hes not used to it truther. bye#chuuya bsd#dazai bsd#bsd chuuya#bsd dazai#soukoku#skk#bungo stray dogs

one of my favorite things about zedaph is that on a server full of people that find strange and oft-overlooked minecraft mechanics or rare events and then see just how far they can push them in the name of spectacle or efficiency or world-breaking, zed is over here finding these mechanics in order to do the weirdest things he can think of in as entertaining a manner as possible
like i 100% have faith in zedaph's theoretical ability to be just as efficient or spectacular or world-breaking. if he wanted to do that stuff, i trust that he absolutely could. but thats so far from being his priority. instead, hes going to spend around a week of irl time focused entirely on eventually having the good luck to spawn in something insanely rare so that he can convert it into something even rarer, the result of which being something that 99% of the server reacts with complete and utter shock that it even exists in the first place, just because its zany and funny and he wanted to. and i love that

it’s actually so wild to me that this fairly quirky YA type show gave both of its main characters deaths that can, in one way or another, solidly be considered hate crimes. they were both flat out murdered as a result of being A) gay and effeminate or B) brown (south asian, specifically) and you could argue whether or not those kids thought of it that way in the moment or whatever but the bottom line is that they would not have been in the situations that killed them if they weren’t of their respective minorities. like legitimately that is a ballsy choice for this kind of netflix show, let alone for the two Main Characters, and i respect it big time
#rambling#i think about this a lot#you could brush charles’ off as a hate crime by proxy since it was in response to him Stopping a hate crime#but that would be stupid. like you think what happened to him would’ve happened if he was white? doubtful#as a mixed person the way i see it is that in that moment- when he protected that pakistani kid- he went from being tolerated#by being/acting just white enough and with enough other jock traits to sort of fit in amongst them#to all at once proving to them that no- he is in fact The Other. he isn’t one of us he’s one of Them.#and as such what happened to him would’ve been a bonafide hate crime. even if they were to give an excuse like ‘he got in our way’ or ‘he#made a fool out of us’ or whatever else. even if those boys didn’t fully UNDERSTAND the racism in their own intentions/actions#it still would be. because that would not have happened to a white boy. period#anyway. genuinely fascinating choice they made with the way they presented his death- especially considering it was not#remotely similar in the comics. neither of them had the hate crime aspect going on really up til yockey’s narrative choices#so props to him. man’s got balls#dead boy detectives#charles rowland#edwin payne#edit: I will say that I don’t think the boys in edwin’s case technically murdered him nor would I call them murderers#because I can’t imagine a single one of them actually thought that ritual was gonna do anything more than make him piss himself#it was still hate-based bullying. like they still absolutely did what they did because he’s visibly effeminate and easily clickable#and all in all: gay. but when I say edwin was murdered I don’t really mean by those boys. *penelope had help getting changed/ready from her handmaiden, however odysseus doesn’t start changing, instead he’s just sitting on a lounge chair looking out the window at the sun setting*
penelope: *now ready for the evening*
penelope: *to her handmaiden* thank you for your help.
penelope: *smiles as she’s walking to the bedroom door with her*
penelope: *remembers something* oh! please let the others know to make sure you all grab yourself enough to eat after all the hard work the past couple of days! or take some of the remaining fish & meat home to your families!
penelope: *waves goodbye as her handmaiden leaves the room*
penelope: *closes the door and turns to face odysseus*
odysseus: *still staring out the window*

odysseus: *nods* i did
odysseus: *thinks for moment and sighs*
odysseus: he’s not going to come to this entrance… but i know where he’ll be
athena: i’ll go with you to get him
telemachus: me too!
penelope: *laughs* well i guess i might as well join too
odysseus: let’s go then
*they all head in the direction of the entrance for the palace gardens*
odysseus: *stops them before they all head outside* ok maybe we don’t all need to go down to the sea
odysseus: i’ll go meet him and we’ll both join you shortly
*telemachus, penelope and athena wait by the entrance talking amongst themselves, while odysseus makes his way down to the palace cove*
*odysseus arrives at the cove when he sees poseidon making his way out of the water*
poseidon: *sees odysseus*
poseidon: king of ithaca
odysseus: *deadpan expression* poseidon.
poseidon: *rolls his eyes at odysseus, for the clear lack of title for him*
odysseus: the others are waiting, shall we get going?
poseidon: *about to agree when he remembers about the arrow*
poseidon: wai- uh i mean, i have a question before we leave…
odysseus: *eyebrow raised*
poseidon: you're not… i don’t know, mad or angry with me or the sea’s inhabitants by any chance?
odysseus: huh?
poseidon: *pinches the bridge of his nose* has the sea or i, done anything to offend you in the past day?
odysseus: *now confused* no?
poseidon: *drops his hand from his face and then points at odysseus* then why did you shoot me?!
odysseus: *even more confused* shoot yo- whAT?
poseidon: *reaches into his chiton and pulls out the arrow he kept there*
poseidon: *shows the arrow to odysseus* please tell me then, what have i done that's got you shooting arrows at the sea?
odysseus: *looking at the arrow, then up to poseidon* i've not shot any arrows at the sea?
odysseus: also, who shoots arrows into the sea?!
poseidon: *hands up in the air in agreement, the arrow being thrown behind him*
poseidon: that's what i said! but who else would it be? it hit the waters of this cove, so unless-
odysseus: *suddenly realises where the arrow has come from*
odysseus: *starts laughing*
poseidon: *brings his hands down and narrows his eyes at odysseus* what is so funny?
odysseus: *wiping a tear away from his eye from laughing so much* my son
poseidon: *now his turn to be confused* huh?
odysseus: *having collected himself * my son, he shot the arrow during archery practice
poseidon: *eyebrow raised* and you're teaching your son to shoot the sea… because?
odysseus: *rolls his eyes* it was an accident, my wife startled him and he misfired.
odysseus: *lets out a tiny chuckle* i can’t believe it made its way to the sea though
poseidon: oh
odysseus: yeah ‘oh’
odysseus: why would you think i’d shoot the sea anyway?
poseidon: *arms now crossed and looking away from odysseus*
poseidon: who knows with you…
odysseus : *smirking* oh poseidon…i’d just use other ways to get your attention
poseidon: *whips his head back to odysseus*
poseidon: *sees odysseus’ shit-eating grin*
poseidon: oh be quiet… what if i arrived early?
poseidon: *points at himself* i could have been hit!
odysseus: *snorts* oh please… an single arrow wouldn't kill you
odysseus: besides we both know you've been impaled with worse
odysseus: *turns to head back up to the palace* anyways, let's head up to the others
poseidon: *realising what odysseus said* wait-
poseidon: odysseus of ithaca!
odysseus: *just keeps walking ignoring poseidon’s outburst*
poseidon: *grumbles under his breath but swiftly walks to catch up odysseus*
*odysseus & poseidon make their way to the palace garden entrance where now only athena is waiting*
odysseus: *looking to athena* where-
athena: *already knows what odysseus is going to ask* they headed to the dining hall.
athena: telemachus wanted to check some final things and penelope left to accompany him.
odysseus: *nods at her explanation*
athena: *turns to look at poseidon*
athena: *nods head at poseidon* uncle
poseidon: *blank look on his face* athena.
athena: *now looking at her nails* not seen you since you were up on olympus in apollo’s infirmary…
athena: *looks back at poseidon and grins* speaking of which… how’s your chest?
poseidon: *scoffs and crosses his arms* fine.
poseidon: *suddenly smirks back* need i remind you that you were also there for a similar reason…how’s your face?
athena: *grin has left her face and now narrows her eyes at poseidon*
odysseus: *not wanting to deal with two bickering gods*
odysseus: *sighs*
odysseus: *claps his hands together sharply* OK! how about we don’t fight in my palace, yeah?
odysseus: besides, telemachus has been extremely excited about tonight’s dinner, so i do not want anything ruining it…
odysseus: *makes sure to look at both of them*
odysseus: *red eyes appear & disappear in the blink of an eye*
odysseus: got it?
athena: *now semi-understands why poseidon listened to odysseus ‘requests’* uh-
poseidon: *putting an arm around athena’s shoulders* yep, no arguing here!
poseidon: *turns his head towards athena* isn’t that right my dear niece?
athena: *stares at poseidon in disbelief at the words ‘dear niece’*
athena: *turns to odysseus* you can’t be seri-
odysseus: *raises his eyebrow*
athena: *sighs* sure, no fighting in the palace
odysseus: *smiles* good. now i know you know where the dining hall is located athena, but poseidon doesn’t.
odysseus: so, if you’ll both please follow me.
odysseus: *starts walking down the hall*
athena: *shrugs poseidon’s arm off in disgust and follows odysseus*
poseidon: *sighs and also follows odysseus*
