literally almost every time someone describes Pok Gukgak it's with some variety of "handsome" "suave" "hot" "cute" like in fhsy when they're going around showing the photo of him and kalina to everyone being like 'hey what do you see' everyone is like 'a hot goblin. an attractive man. a handsome fella. (and sometimes a cat also)' he has BEEN hot since the get-go.

it's literally a PLOT POINT that he's so sexy at one point bc of the whole magic sti. this man is and has always been hot. as. fuck.

Thank you all for being so patient with me, I know it was a long hiatus.

My health was struggling, my arm was (is) hurting, and I decided it wasn't worth it. I'd rather be slow!

So thank you for giving me that grace, and I hope you'll be there with me for the rest of the series.

#like straight up. it's not worth it. idc how many people get mad at me #i would rather work fuckin. anything else than maintain this impossible schedule and keep hurting myself #if thats what it takes to do comics full time. then i can't do comics full time. simple as that!#i hope that for my next work i can have a healthier schedule and still make this work as my job #but if not. BFFR you're comparing Rick Riordan trying to make his world more inclusive, changing some parts because of money/time constraints, or just making changes cus he thinks they're needed, to JKR being a terrible person!

#maybe its because its been fuck knows how many years since i watched 90% of c1 #but i actually find the way they're changing things up super fascinating #i have questions to be sure and i think they're all having so much fun watching people go THEY'RE NOT GONNA PERMAKILL PERCY ??#(they're obviously not going to leave percy dead)#but because so many things have been folded on top of each other to keep the pace in this several hundred hour campaign adaptation #idk! i just think it's neat! obviously we're not done with ripley yet so we'll see what happens there #also people being like “i didnt need a sad backstory for ripley” like that wasn't the most obvious vehicle to introduce the assembly #a lot of these scenes they're adding in or folding together are doing a LOT of work #the storytelling action economy is honestly astounding #like don't get me wrong i get why people are weirded out by it (i am too! It's strange!) Extremely quick and dirty speedpaint of a dream I had last night

#other art #I was at like a wildlife center with wolves and this one '''wolf dog''' (which was the size of a deer and I forgot about that til now)#was keeping pace with the pickup truck I was driving ('I was thinking 'wow that's 40 mph')#It started chewing on a hole in the fence and I was kinda like ruh roh but ignored it and moved on to other dream activities #Then later I'm talking to some guy and hear an explosion and the bed of my pickup truck was on fire (dream logic dictated this is where the #engine was) and the dog was there. Had kind of an 'OH YOU!' moment with it #Like not actually that bothered by this dog blowing up my vehicle #The fire was bright blue and I was thinking 'hey I drew something like this recently' and then everything else started catching on fire #And I was like Oh my god I have to go into The Tunnels to retrieve my belongings so they don't get burned #(There are always tunnels in my dreams). And I think I failed to do that because the tunnels were on fire too. Then my parents had #to pick me up. Don't remember these last bits very well

Oh lu fics are just full of miscommunication and resentment and sour interactions and pain and simmering anger #I prefer to read trusted authors because it's so wearing but the problem is you have to go out and find them lol #It's a very controversial belief of mine that every link enjoyed their adventure even if it was scary or sad and would not be averse to #Another. Oh the circumstances they might hate. #I am literally following them around and getting excited like a little puppy its insane #I cant decide who I wanna marry I like all of them… I was a little torn between Sebastian and Harvey at first but now Alex is an #unexpected fav??? and I like Elliott and Sam theyre so goofy.. and I appreciate how down to earth Leah is #Emily is also quickly growing on me she feels like the valleys manic pixie dream girl to me. or at least Clint’s manic pixie dream girl #the only characters I don’t have much to say abt are Shane and maru.. Shane’s still a little mean to me like I know he warms up to u as #u get to know him but I’m not there yet.. and I’m just not all that interested in Maru sadly #it’s not just the marriage candidates its almost all the NPCs especially Granny Evelyn SHES SO NICE?? shes fun to talk to I love giving #her my best flowers.. Never not thinking about leela being one of the smartest and most competent people in a room full of time lords who think she’s useless because she’s human
