i'm going to focus on my current wip, Why Should I Be Careful? I'm Going To Die Anyway! because it's still very much in the planning stages (despite how much I'm writing for it) and I have Thoughts

What is the main lesson of your story? Why did you choose it?

I'll be honest, I haven't really thought that far ahead. I suppose, if there is a lesson to take from WSIBC?IGTDA!, it might be that you should always chase your goals and desires, and screw what other people think. Maybe put a little more thought and planning into yours than Aura does hers, though. I mean, she almost dies due to her recklessness. Don't be like Aura.

What did you use as inspiration for your worldbuilding?

Well, it's a zombie book - I love zombies, in case you can't tell - so the world is an amalgamation of zombie stuff I love. The zombies are based off of the Train to Busan zombies. This is a self-insert mess, so I'm using the town and people I know in the town as location and characters. Little tropes here and there that I love in movies and books alike. It's just a big chimera of stuff that I grab from stuff I remember and shove into it. It definitely needs polish when it's done, but I'm having a blast so far, so I'm'a keep doing it :3

What is your MC trying to achieve, and what are you, the writer, trying to achieve with them? Do you want to inspire others, teach forgiveness, or help the reader grow as a person?

Uhhhhhh this is a tough question. Right now, Aura is trying to make it to Roger's Grocery Mart to save her girlfriend, but most of the time, she's just trying to have a good time in the zombie apocalypse and hopefully not die. She does eventually grow into a character that (mostly) thinks things through and takes other people's situations into account, so I suppose the lesson is "the world doesn't revolve around you - be kind and helpful to others"?

As for what I'm trying to achieve... mostly, to be honest, I just want people to pick up my book and have a good time reading it. I want to write a zombie book because it's my passion and because there aren't enough zombie books out there. I guess I'm trying to inspire others? To show them that you can survive an impossible situation if you work hard and think things through?

How many chapters is your story going to have?

The only time I've written a full-length book (sorry, the only two times, forgot about Zero: ALPHA), it had about twenty-odd chapters. Z:A had...uh...thirty? That was a long time ago and I sadly no longer have that draft. This one is going to go until it's done. Hopefully more than thirty though!

Is it fanfiction or original content? Where do you plan to post it?

Original content! I have no idea where I'm going to post it. I'm torn between Draft2Digital (originally Smashwords) or Substack. Thing is, I'm really bad at marketing and keywords and all that technical stuff that goes into publicizing, so I'm really hesitant to share it at all. I'm the type of person that gets absolutely morally devastated if my own self-inflicted goals aren't met, and I'm not sure if I can handle that kind of crushing heartbreak with this one lol

So yeah. Might publish, might not. Unsure right now.

When did you start writing?

My dad set up a Windows 95 computer for me in his office, his old one, and taught me the basics of using it. I was five, about to turn six. I immediately sat down and wrote a story about unicorns. I've been writing ever since.

I didn't start writing fanfiction until I was thirteen and had just binge-watched Lord of the Rings for the first time. We don't talk about those works. They were awful.

Do you have any words of encouragement for fellow writers of writeblr? What other writers do you follow?

Write it. Oh it's cringe? Who cares? Write it. Oh, it's a rare pair? Write it. You're worried people will hate it? Fuck the haters. Write it. Writing is about having fun. Writing is about pouring your soul onto the page. Writing is about getting those ideas out of your head so they don't drive you insane. It's about reaching that one person that finds your work and loves it. Even if no one reads it - you still accomplished something. You still wrote it. And no one can take that from you.

I have so many writers in my follow list. Uhh. I have no idea how many are still active, so I'm just going to tag who I know and hope for the best lol

Fanart of my own fanfiction (Chimera Teto x Android Miku)

Good news! When I woke up and looked at my art again today, I liked it, so here's the uncolored version! I trust you tumblr people, so here you go! You may view. This technically means I've drawn UTAU Teto (here) and SynthV Teto, but I really want to color this and take my time doing so, so here are the lines before it turns into something else hahaha 😂😂😂 Read More for the stuff I wanted to write last night but was too tired to (also the art time lapse)

I showed like two WIPs of different ideas on Twitter but none of them were this LOL (just goes to show how much I wanna draw and see of these two specifically) but the reason I decided to go with this is 'cuz that fanfic I wrote in like one day really got me excited and it made me really want to draw them as I was imagining more stuff about them. Here I'll talk about what I had in mind

I love chimera Teto, especially her majestic wings, and what I drew here is basically inspired by that! Teto's basically the only "living, sentient" thing around Miku so far (I dunno how to approach adding more creatures just yet), which makes Miku extra interested in her. But basically Miku likes Teto's wings and tail too and is very fascinated by them.

I had an idea where Miku is just holding or playing with Teto's tail out of nowhere and complimenting the heck out of her, and that was condensed into this piece. It was too crowded on Miku's side to have Teto's tail there as well, but the reason Teto's embarrassed (tsundere is nice, aint it xD) is 'cuz Miku is indeed praising the heck out of her. Calling her cute and saying how cool her wings are and whatnot.

The dialogue kinda goes like, "Your wings are so cool! And I really like how expressive your tail is! I wonder what I would do with a tail. It's so cute! Actually, now that I think about it, all of you is really cute!!" (Teto, embarrassed: "Stop talking now.") wwww

Miku does have a kinda tail actually! It's the chain on top of her skirt. As an android, I was thinking it works as sort of a battery plug or USB or something. I can show off more of that later (since it's really small here lol) but she can use it to receive electricity and recharge herself, I guess~. (Note to self: make it bigger?)

I haven't shown off much of my art style, but most (normal) characters usually don't have pupils. (See: this Teto, who's a living breathing creature.) As a result, I decided to give Miku pupils (kinda robot-like) to make her seem like more of a robot. She also wears the thing (headphones) over her ears, of course, which I can also use to make her seem more robot-like. There's no green flashing of code in her eyes right now but I might draw that sometime too, after my loads of other ideas...

Teto's wings aren't fragile. They're probably firm, hard, and could even be scaly/rough (up to my own whims or the reader's own preference). Her letting Miku touch her (wings) is probably a huge display of trust/confidence. Teto's wings are strong enough to carry her far distances and even allow her to fly in bad weather, I think. It's up to Teto herself how much energy/desire she has to do things like that though.

This is mentioned in the fic too, but Teto probably folds her wings a lot so they don't get in the way. She's kinda like a bird. I think her silhouette against the sun or moon, with full wingspan, is probably majestic (I'm imagining the Batman symbol for some reason lol). I know some people color Teto's wings as purple, but I specified black in my fic to match her tail. ^^

In order for her wings to breathe, there are probably holes in the back of her outfit to accommodate them, but they're only big enough for the wings (ellipses/ovals probably): she either tears/cuts holes into the shirts she wears for her wings or they already fit her wings so there's no problem. I wonder if Teto made her UTAU outfit herself in this setting. xD (A girl has to pass the time SOMEHOW plus she's probably at least a little bit handy when it comes to clothes and stuff (survival).)

If, while I'm coloring, I need to make adjustments to the seating and lineart and all that, I will, but I figured I'd show off what made me stay up 'til 5 AM last night and then get embarrassed to post 'cuz I thought I wasn't finished yet. I woke up and I liked it, so I'm just gonna put it in this here blog. c:

i forgot to see if you answered my ask about moonpaw's chimerism but now im here so i'll explain what i meant (quickly since i have to do an exam in like 15 minutes)

idk how much you know about chimeras, so basically, a chimeras tends to form when two fetuses fuse. ever seen photos of axolotls with half-black half-pink skin? those are chimeras. the axolotls would not normally look like that, but because they fused with a fetus of a different color, their DNA was changed.

this happens with cats as well. there are two base colors for cat coats; black and orange. these change with dilution and smoke and all those other things, but they are all forms of either black or orange. a cat cannot be two kinds of black or two kinds of orange at the same time, BUT they can be black and orange, hence tortoiseshells. gray is the dilution of black, so a cat cannot be black and gray at the same time unless they are a chimera.

technically moonpaw can be a chimera (black and orange is a possible combination but a black fetus could also just fuse with a orange fetus to make a tortoiseshell looking chimera), but being a tortoiseshell with a half-and-half face marking does not MAKE her a chimera. it would also be difficult to tell if shes a chimera or not since she just looks like a tortoiseshell. if she was an impossible combination however, such as black and gray as i suggested, it would be obvious to the naked eye that she is a chimera and make more sense as to why the cats in the books might notice. (side note, is that a plot point?? it probably is but i havent read the preview so idk if anyone actually cares shes a chimera lol)

uhh yeah basically thats my issue with it. she can of course be a chimera and just look like a tortie, but it'd be cooler if she was a more extreme example of one so it was actually clear and didnt cause confusion

Ah gotcha! I did some reading as well, and while I'll say now I don't totally get it, i definitely more so understand the frustration behind the misconception with split face = chimera. I guess we won't know she's a chimera until later on in the books.

Worlds worst friend group lol

just a quick doodle thing that evolved when I wasn’t looking. Meet the four horsemen of the apocalypse, none of them are men <3. They are all gender neutral! Because it’s my world and I make the rules! These are what I call their eldritch/monster forms. From left to right it’s: Famine, Pestilence, Death/Azrael, War.

They do have human forms, I just haven’t gotten around to drawing them lol, and they do have other names but I can't think of any right now. The horsemen aren’t angels, but they aren’t demons either. They’re more like the middlemen, the in between. They will end the world, but only because they are the consequences, not the cause.

They are close with one another, though heavens forbid you encounter more than one at once. Most of them are introverts/ambiverts, except for War, who is obnoxiously extroverted.

A more detailed explanation of their designs, and why I made some choices, under the cut!

We are going left to right, so first it's Famine!

Famine is obviously a very malnourished figure, with their ribs poking out and gaunt face, the reason being obvious. Their lower half is that of an olm, not a snake! A blind, cave dwelling salamander. The reason I chose an olm is because olms can survive ten years without food! That seemed very fitting. Now, onto the holes on their esophagus and stomach/rib area. Those are actually mouths! It might not be obvious in this picture, but you can sort of see the teeth on the bigger one. From the rib hole you can see the intestines and stomachs escaping. This is symbolic of famine never being full. Famine often times holds their stomach in one hand. Sometimes, they also hold a scale in the other since its the symbol they are depicted with the most.

The second is Pestilence. They are by far the least humanoid of the group. I wanted to showcase the fact that illness is a very natural thing, perhaps even the most natural of the four (Other than Death, I guess). They are mainly a chimera mix of a creature. Their neck is not inspired by anything particular, almost like a long furry giraffe neck, their upper legs are bird legs, their midsection is mammalian, but it shows signs of mange. Their lower legs are lizard-like, and they have a rat tail. The only human features Pestilence has is the face and the two hands attached to their neck. The face because I found it to be easier to showcase illness on a human face, and also because its almost like a trap. A lure to distract you from the monstrous body. The hands because the white horseman (Pestilence in this au) is often depicted with a bow. Around them are visible bacteria and viruses.

The third is Death, AKA Azrael! My main little dude. They are by far the most angelic looking, I designed them to be human, but also very obviously not. They have a human body, but not human features like a nose or mouth. Its meant to symbolize how death if prevalent in humanity, but we don't really understand it that much. Its essential in the life cycle, but also reviled and mysterious. Azrael is able to pass as an angel because they technically are in my au. They where made alongside the Princes as one of the oldest beings. Despite the other horsemen having symbols, Death is depicted without one. It does not need a weapon, it just is. (But I give them a scythe anyways because I found it cool, sue me.)

The final one is War. They kicked my ass when I tried coming up with concepts. The other horsemen are all arguably natural concepts, but war is a wholly human creation. It isn't natural. I didn't want to make War just a human person, that wouldn't fit the eldritch horror vibe I had going with the rest of them. So I decided to make War's body a puppet. The human-looking puppet, controlled by this shadowy-void being. The puppet is an empty shell that cannot do anything without the creature controlling it, its backer. War is the creature, not the puppet. I found it very symbolic. I gave the puppet a blind fold, to show it is blind to the intentions of the backer.

Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 27

I can't believe I've actually reached the first quarter of the series.

Last chapter, Dorchet was the butt of the joke in the goon squad. This chapter, it's Martel.

Tons of big reveals and answers to questions this chapter.

Starting off, we learn the goons are all human-based chimeras created by military researchers. I'm surprised this never comes up, but there already being successful creations of this kind makes the Shou Tucker incident even worse. Not only did Tucker use his wife and daughter for his experiments, but actual research had advanced far past that point making his atrocities pointless.

If anything, I'd guess he only got his license so the military could hide how far they've advanced in their chimera research. Tucker's incapability would paint chimera research as novel, impractical, and pointless; while hiding how far the military has gone into researching human-chimera weapons.

Greed shows up and pretty much reveals everything about himself and the others. He's a homunculus and while he's able to regenerate, he's not actually immortal. He also mentions being 200 years old. He knows the other people with the Ouroboros tattoo, but his motives and actions imply that he is not with them.

One thing I find interesting in this scene is how Greed's body collapsed after Loa smashed his dead off, but then he got back up before his head regenerated. So while Greed does have a brain which is used to control his body, his brain doesn't actually need to be intact for him to operate. It's always possible he slumped over dead for dramatic effect as well, but it would make sense if destroying the brain might make him need a second to start regenerating.

Moving onto Ed, a day has passed at this point and he's in South HQ. He meets Alex Louis Armstrong who is escorting Fuhrer President King Bradley on an inspection. Bradley immediately passes Ed's assessment and then learns about Ed's teacher.

I absolutely adore Armstrong's expression when he sees Ed. He's making the same face one might make in the presence of a cute kitten or puppy.

Back in Dublith, Izumi learns about what happened to Al and she and Sig go after him. I feel like giving a special shoutout to Ulchi for being the only minor goon with a name.

I wish we got this guy's name cause he was my favorite goon.

Izumi is not mad that Al got kidnapped. She's mad Al let himself get kidnapped. And she declares herself to be a housewife. It's a joke, but to her, being in a loving married relation is more important than flaunting her skill in a highly technical field.

Spoiler Discussion

I wonder how much of a coincidence it is that Wrath is in South HQ. The villains likely knew Ed was traveling south, but maybe not what city or for what reason. As far as we know, Gluttony is still in the east, while Lust and Envy are at Central.

We learn later that Lust is dating Havoc to try getting information about Mustang, meanwhile Envy is probably too much of a loose cannon to be trusted for a long-term tailing mission, despite having powers that make them perfectly suited to the task. So Wrath is the only one who'd have the ability to track Ed inconspicuously.

Whether or not it's a coincidence Wrath is there, I'd argue Armstrong also being there is not a coincidence. He is privy to some of the details of the grand conspiracy, so Wrath is keeping him on a short leash. Armstrong would probably try to investigate it on his own if he could and wouldn't involve others. Plus, he's a capable alchemist and his family has served the military for generations, so he could still be a potential asset who just needs to be kept busy so he can't snoop around where he shouldn't.

How lucky for Father that Ed happened to bump into Bradley and mentioned his teacher. Now they'll have a new Sacrifice candidate.

And of course Bradley passed Ed immediately. Ed's a human sacrifice. They need to keep tabs on him.

Also, the guy standing behind Bradley is the guy who will give Hawkeye her transfer orders to be Bradley's secretary.

Heart Stone

Yes, Timaeus does have a heart and thus a heart beat.

However much like everything else about him even that has its abnormalities, and is one of many other reasons that make his creation- and subsequent survival something of a marvel.

As it is creating Chimera's between cold blooded and warmblooded creatures already creates issues that often end in failure, but beyond that all creatures have varying heart rates and take creatures from two ends of the spectrum can have equally disastrous results.

Now what creatures were used for his chimeric base have been lost along with most other research notes involving his creation, but given overall appearance something reptilian and likely mammalian in nature (although how much things got twisted in change with the inclusion of the Crimson Stone is a whole other thing)

Regardless if listened to one would note that for someone his size, he's a rather irregular heart beat, mild arrhythmia, as well as can change/be affected by the surrounding temperature- much like reptiles.

At rest and relaxed / asleep, his heart rate is notably slower then average person (of his size), and especially so when it gets quite cold- it's unclear how much, or if he can control his heart rate or if it is all an automatic response.

Reverse is also true that during intense activity it can cause it to be come rather rapid- which is a problem due to it awkwardly placed not quite where a hear should be and putting pressure on his chest/lungs. Plus can cause potential over heating if he's not careful.

Now despite the weirdness cause by the stone, he's far from immortal or able to heal from any injury. If Tim takes a serious enough injury to his heart he will definitely die- pretty much. Technically in away he still lives with whatever bit of fragmented stone is in the body but like the body itself won't regenerate and trying to put him in another body would likely result in a Greed situation of creating just a whole new being (that may or may not have some of those memories)

For all intense and purposes he'd be dead let's leave it at that.

However as long as it isn't damaged he won't necessarily die if it's merely stopped beating, because again having even an imperfect stone fused with your body does weird things, so in away you could say it kinda is his true heart I guess- there's a whole argument to be had on whether his physical heart is really the stone or if the stone is his blood/ is just his whole body at this point but no one knows

Scientist likely did attempt to do some kinda of examination to see if they could find where the stone bound itself in his body but resulted in nothing (some think/thought maybe it didn't take at all , wasn't strong enough and is just gone)

Now that doesn't mean he can or would walk permanently around with no heart beat but it'd be very much possible for example;

Tim drowns/drowning someone starts CPR and when he comes to, his heart hasn't actually started beating yet (after a few moments it would start tho)

Granted chances are majority of the time it hasn't actually stopped, it's just dropped and slowed to a point of being near undetectable.

Day 245 - Level 220

TL;DR Dirt tunnels inhabited by "Chimeras", which are in constant pain and are made of many animal parts cobbled together by a secretive, cloaked figure named Dr. Belleropheron. Oh, and there's a specific Chimera named "Pegasus", so that too.

Technically, the Fandom version of Level 220 wasn't deleted. It's just in a sandbox page. But it did get moved to one due to author request, so I'm doing the other Level 220 just in case.

This initially seems like just another underground themed level, with claustrophobic spaces, daunting angles or just straight up bottomless pits. Oh, and it's dark. Sometimes the dirt making up this level is malleable, but even then, trying to dig through it can get noisy, so I wouldn't suggest trying to do that. Even if you don't attract any entities, the dirt will likely still collapse onto you.

So what's the deal? Well, this level has an exclusive entity; the Chimeras. True to their name, they're basically numerous animal and/or entity parts cobbled together. The results obviously aren't pretty; even they themselves are in constant pain! Their hostility may also vary; some can be closely observed, while others are so miffed they attack their own kind if wanderers aren't around.

Pegasus

This particular Chimera is likely the most intelligent and overall notable, along with a heightened sense of smell. It has the head of a dog, dysfunctional wings from an eagle, a leopard's torso, a horse's tail, and assorted legs. It's also seemingly more "intact", able to move far more efficiently than all other documented Chimeras. Is it GREAT? Probably not, but it's better at it than the others.

If you see the Pegasus, though, someone else isn't far behind...

Basically Pegasus' owner, with it doing as he says. Dr. Bellerophon is a tall, frail and cloaked figure clad entirely in white, with a lantern constantly on his person. He's probably not a good person, but he DID spare someone exactly once, so that's something.

Apparently, he created the entire Chimera species, not just Pegasus, which I guess makes sense; the Chimeras don't exactly look like anything that would just...evolve from something else. They all come from some kind of laboratory, but only he knows the way there, and it's safe to say he won't just miraculously tell anyone. He doesn't quite like giving out other details regarding what he does, either.

why'm i having thinkings when i haven't read any of it? or when it doesn't fit into my plotlines anyways?? idk *shrugs* bored i guess???

making it be mutant Squid Games would've been more interesting than what it really is. rounding up former/villains, screwing with them psychologically, using inhibitor collars, then doing blood sports to make an expert kill squad whose spirts are broken and under the evil overlord's control? that sounds more interesting than just whatever is actually going on, and it wouldn't be shelving characters and their development all off screen unceremoniously. but whatever, this is Marvel, good stories are stupid after all

if i were to use this in my Packverse...for one thing, Arkady would not be arrested and imprisoned, because oh heck yeah the whole Pack would assault that place so fast, leaving so much collateral damage (heh it'd be a proper Sabretooth War). but Kyle...now in my plot, he and Clare are employed by X-Factor/Alpha Flight, but that doesn't fully protect him after all. so Kyle gets abducted, leaving Clare and Kimi (because yes alt-future clone daughter is here) to try to get him back...because Clare knows her dad would well, start a war lol. but also they don't know exactly who did this or why. due to Kimi's chimera combo, she can (semi)easily track Kyle, and the girls are both teleporters, so the hope is a stealth enough mission. but of course things aren't that easy, and honestly the guards wished it would have. because again, remember, Clarice is a Creed, and the lady proves it. when they do find Kyle he is in a very sorry state, and that does kind of setback their escape...but Kimi finding him and latching onto him calling him 'papa' for the first time and really meaning it helps. Clare gets confronted with leadership, and has to do fast bargaining; see, since she and Kyle are X-Factor/Alpha Flight that *should* have exempted Kyle from this because this *is*shady sub-government stuff. she threatens to expose that; they up the ante threatening to keep her and Kimi (who after all technically legally does not exist, so it is very easy to make her disappear) then to keep everything quiet (this was a very bad idea Mr Shadyguy, you do NOT threaten a Creed's pup); that leads Clare to counter back with the fact that again, her dad will go scorched earth and cause literal hell if that happens (because Kimi is to get out of there under all circumstances, even though she's clinging t Kyle dearly (and as an aside, Kimi cannot take other people with her when she teleports)). so Mr Shadyguy backs down, claiming this was al a misunderstanding and of course they're free to go, but does suggest not letting this mixup slip out in casual conversation, thus leaving a hanging threat that whoever these guys are will come back after them, now seeing just what they're all capable of. but on a lighter note, Kimi calls Clare mom finally too as they settle that night safely away from everything and Clare is the one staying up and vigilant over her little family as she worries about their future (huh much in the same way Arkady was vigil after freeing Vic from the Pit, and they all slept together in the same bed with belle and Alexei those first few weeks. yay parallels!). but also the moral dilemmas of leaving those others behind to suffer while saving her own family...very Creed thing to do

Once again I would love to and not just for my autism . Instead of having any aids for those my preferred method of managing myself is to sit completely still on my spinny chair the entire day not talking to anybody unless they ask and the answer is easy, just watch something on my laptop or something, and don't come out unless to eat or go to the bathroom and forget I'm alive if I'm not doing anything atm. The reason why male tortoiseshells are so uncommon compared to female torties (and whenever you hear of them, it's because they were born with an XXY chromosome or were a chimera) is because of how cat coat colors are inherited. There's two main colors, black (melanin, aka. black, chocolate, cinnamon and their diluted versions, blue/gray, lilac and fawn) and red (pheomelanin, aka. red and its diluted version, cream), if you have both of them at the same time then that makes them a tortoiseshell. Male kittens inherit one color from their mother, for ex. a tortie mom will have male kittens that are either black or red, the color of the father doesn't really matter in this case. Female kittens inherit one color from their mother, and another from their father, so for ex. if a tortie female and a red male had kittens, their female kittens would either be tortie (took black from mom, and red from dad) or red (took red from mom and red from dad), which colors they "roll" is pretty much random and up to chance. That's why male cats cannot be torties unless they're intersex (which would sometimes make them inherit colors like female cats do) or a chimera (aka. two fused embryos, which might have different colors which is how they appear to look like a tortie, even if they technically aren't), because otherwise they can only have one color unlike female cats. I got no idea why people say that red female cats are apparently super rare, I guess they would be if red males were less common too, but I don't think they are uncommon to THAT degree. So yes I do believe that there is slightly less red females, but not that they're such a rarity that it's worth getting fascinated over. There's probably just less red cats in general than black/brown/gray, which also means that red females are gonna be less common in those areas based on how they inherit their fur colors, than males, who would just need one parent to have red. Sorry I'm just really confused over people saying that female ginger cats are special apparently .

Arcane: Every Vander is Warwick forshadowing

Warwick's title is the, Uncaged Wrath of Zaun. The lanes wanted Vander to unleash his wrath upon their enemies, but he didn't. Knowing that it would lead to more violence. If Warwick is Vander, then it's going to he such poetic justice. A reference to the old saying, be careful what you wish for. Now, Warwick terrorizes Zaun because his wrath is now uncaged. Also to add, the lore of WW where states "He can almost hear a voice of a little girl screaming what seems like a name". Wherein ep 3, Powder is screaming Violet.

Silco, talking about himself, Arcane Episode 5: "That day, I let a weak man die... and another was reborn. Knowing how utterly messed up Singed is when it comes to his experiments and such it is not too out there to guess that he would definitely bring Vander back from the dead and experiment on him. Actually we don't exactly know if he is really dead, he could be in a coma and Singed, again, knowing how smart and messed up he is, managed to awake him, and now in the next episodes, well.... get ready to potentially see a very familiar chemtech chimera werewolf show up to wreck shop.

Warwick's bio also references a beard and scars on his arm when he was human. Silco cuts Vander's arm in a flashback so all the details line up rather neatly, even for the physical description in episode 3 Silco says "I will show you what you really are." And then the music from Warwick's Blood Hunt ability plays. Closed Captioning even calls it Foreboding Music. That is Warwick's music right there.

When Silco gets Jinx at the end of EP3 Singed is not with him. Vanders body is also left behind. We know that singed creates warwick so it makes sense for singed to use vander to do so.

"Bursting out of the shadows, he preys upon those criminals who terrorize the city's depths." In Vanders later years he was the peacekeeper of the lanes.

We know that the 1st image has warwick in the background. We can see he's shirtless, broad chested, and wearing jeans that have been ripped. In the 2nd image we see that vander shares these characteristics. No shirt, broad chest, and the jeans (most likely ripped by singed).

There are several hints in the first three episodes that Vander will possibly become Warwick, the Uncaged Wrath of Zaun: Vander's nickname is The Hound of the Underground. Warwick is a mutated werewolf. When he is mutated by Shimmer, Vander lets out a bestial wolflike howl while attacking and does some similar snarls while he's on the bridge deciding whether to go after Silco or help Vi. When Silco has Vander dragged into the operating chair in his warehouse, Warwick's Leitmotif plays. Silco slashing his right arm and stabbing him in the back might allude to where Warwick's chemtech augments are installed, with a mechanical claw on his right arm and the apparatus on his back. Warwick remembers he was a bearded man with scarred arms, a description that matches Vander's. Furthermore, Warwick's character biography describes him as a man who left his life of crime to be a better man but who could never escape his past before being kidnapped and experimented on by Singed.

Warwick remembers a little girl's screams. If he is in a game with Jinx, he will howl that "she was there", or beg to be allowed to forget. If faced with an enemy Vi, he taunts her by asking who taught her how to punch (Vander did). When Jinx has a mental breakdown after being told to remember her family in Act III, she flat out sees Vander as Warwick through her mental vision. when Vander takes the shimmer and transform he growls EXACTLY like Warwick. Another thing is when Vander is being dragged to the chair the music that plays in the background is almost identical to Warwick's login theme (very faint but I definitely recognize it, but I might be wrong). Then there is Warwick's bio which specifically talks about his previous life as a Gangster who was trying to live a better life until is sins caught up to him. He remembers a little girl screaming what might have been a name (Vander both hears Vi screams of pain, and after "dying" we see Power screaming Vi's name right next to Vander's body). Vander also had his arm cut by Silco and that arm was weakened. That is the exact arm which fell off during the experiments and is the one on Warwick which is replaced with a mechanical claw. Vander was also referred to with the epitaph Hound of the Underground. Warwick's epitaph is the Uncaged Wrath of Zaun and Silco's entire plan was that he wanted to release the beast inside Vander after Vander softened up and "became a coward." You could say Silco wanted to uncaged Vander's wrath.

It took Stiles nearly two weeks to realize that the guys around him were flirting with him and not just being nice. So Brett offered to drive him home one night because Stiles’ jeep wouldn’t start after their lacrosse game. The wolf smiled and reached over to touch him numerous times on the way. He thought it was just a wolf thing and he was being friendly since he helped save the wolf’s life.

Liam curled up next to him on pack nights, often arguing with Corey or Josh about who’s turn it was. Ever since what happened with Scott on the super moon, the wolf got really close to Stiles. He thought Liam looked at him as a brother or something. He’d never have guessed that he liked him.

All of those late night research stints with Mason now make so much more sense to him. How the teen would make a point to sit close enough that their shoulders or thighs were in a constant state of contact. How he would listen to everything Stiles said with wide eyes and a dopey grin. Mason would always stay the night- in his bed- rather than driving home at a decent hour or sleep in the guest room.

Josh and Corey have always been pretty nice to him. Aside from the one time after Josh was turned into a chimera and tried to kill Stiles on the hospital roof. But even he knows that doesn’t count as a point against the raiju, he was out of his mind. Stiles isn’t even really sure how things with Corey started, he used to be so into Mason and then one day the two of them combined just latched onto Stiles.

He thought it was a pack mom sort of deal. That they all just felt comfortable around him.

How fucking wrong he was.

He knows that now, standing wide eyed and slack jawed as all of the aforementioned guys are waiting for him to make a decision. How in the fuck is he supposed to make a decision like that? That’s cruel and unusual punishment is what that is. Brett leaned against the staircase with a lazy smile on his face. Corey and Josh sitting on one of the couches bouncing their legs, seemingly filled with as much nervous energy as Stiles. Mason and Liam standing by the fireplace while Theo occupies the other couch by himself, sitting like a goddamn king in his castle.

It’s his house after all. And his pack save for Brett.

“You guys want me to choose one of you?”

“I mean yeah, if you want to,” Brett says, crossing his arms, “we all talked about it. It doesn’t matter to us who you pick-”

“If you pick anyone at all,” Mason continues.

“We just want to see you happy,” Liam adds.

Oh what the fuck? His eyes trail around the room doing what he does best. Overthinking the fuck out of everything and weighing the pros on cons of making a decision at all. Stiles gives every guy in the room a good once over until his gaze falls on Theo.

The Alpha doesn’t move from the couch. Arms on the backrest and his legs still spread, watching with clear amusement on his face. Like he knows what Stiles’ answer is before he’s even said it himself. Because out of all of the guys in the house right now, Theo’s the only one who didn’t hint at his feelings. No. The chimera blatantly told him how he felt in way of pinning him to the wall and kissing him breathless. Theo lifts a hand and with one finger, silently beckons Stiles over.

With a smile on his face, the teen walks over and lets the chimera pull him into his lap. As if there was ever a chance he could make any other decision. Not when he’s the only one who’s been so upfront with him and is technically not really asking him to make a choice. He hasn't said a word since everyone showed up.

“Well, damn,” Brett says as the Alpha pulls Stiles impossibly closer and nuzzles his neck.

“I’m sorry, but-” Stiles starts, feeling more than a little guilty.

The wolf waves a hand with an effortless grin, “we said we wouldn’t be upset with who you pick, Stiles. You’re entitled to your feelings.”

“I gotta admit,” Mason smiles, “I’ve never seen Theo look at anyone that way before.”

“So you better treat him right, Raeken,” Liam adds with a hint of a growl.

It makes Stiles laugh as the Alpha kisses his cheek, “I intend to,” resting their foreheads together. Knowing it would upset Stiles more than do any good if he just shoved his tongue in the teen’s mouth after all of this. Theo’s smarter than that and knows Stiles better than that. He’ll wait until they leave to claim what’s his. And Stiles certainly isn’t going to complain, more than happy to be tucked into Theo’s neck and just cuddle.

"You know what, we're all tired. There's bound to be an inn in the next town. Why don't I save us all the trouble and take care of this myself, huh?"

"You plan on taking out a small herd of manticores all by yourself? Just how are you going to be doing that?" Kane crossed his arms across his chest, raising a skeptical brow.

"You sure about this Mika? We've been traveling all day," Miggs flicked the fletchings of his drawn arrow.

"It'll be fine. Just feed me after, and it shouldn't be a problem," she shrugged off her cloak and pulled off her belt.

"Why are you removing your clothing? Good Gods woman! Did you drop your decency on the road somewhere?" Alois exclaimed.

"What? I don't wanna have to spend all night cleaning manticore blood out of them," she stripped off her shirt and added it to the pile.

"Miss Mikaela please!" Alois slapped his hands over his eyes and spun around.

Kane averted his eyes, with a displeased huff. "Mikaela, is this really necessary? I can help you clean your clothes if need be,"

"Calm down, I'm not getting naked. I have some class," she barked.

"Says the woman standing in an open field wearing nothing but her trousers and undergarments,"

"Shuddup Miggs no one asked you," she sneered and turned back to the advancing herd.

"You know I can't say I really like the idea of you fighting alone. You're strong yes but-"

"Master Kane, I guess this is as good a time as any to inform you that I was a tad misleading when you asked me who I was. I didn't lie, but I did conveniently leave out a few key details," she dropped her head back so she could look at him, an unnerving smile on her face. "But only about what I am," she snickered as her eyes began glowing red. Demonic markings emerged from her skin like ink bleeding through paper. 

"She's a demon?" Alois gasped, clutching his cross.

"Of sorts," Miggs dropped his arrow back into his quiver. "She's technically only a demi-demon, but she takes after her dad a lot more than her mom. Which is a damn shame cause her mom's hot,"

"Miguel," Kane warned.

"You've never seen her, the woman would make even a square like you fall to your knees,"

"Miguel, I'm less interested in your perverted thoughts on Mikaela's mother and more interested in how she's able to tear the head off a manticore with her bare hands,"

Alois pulled his hood over his face, "Tell me when it's over," he mumbled, "I'm gonna be sick,"

Miggs nodded, "Yeah it's pretty impressive, but the power doesn't come for free. If she uses to much or changes to fast she kinda loses grip on her humanity and goes crazy,"

"'Goes crazy'? The hell does that mean?"

"Language Master Kane,"

"I'll apologize to the Gods later, there are bigger issues to deal with. What do you mean by she goes crazy,"

"The last time she really lost control was probably like 12 years ago but it was pretty gnarly. The first guy dumb enough to try and grab her after she went on a rampage against this giant chimera got his back broken. And not in the sexy way,"

"How are you talking so much and giving me so little information? It's almost impressive,"

"Perhaps it would be best to ask the lady herself?" Alois quipped, face still covered by his hood.

"Yeah probably, I don't really understand the details myself," Miggs shrugged, "Oh look, I think she's done. We should probably get her dressed and to a tavern for some food. She's pretty hangry after doing stuff like this,"

Kane rubbed his fingers against his temples, once again questioning his choice in traveling companions. "Sure, alright. Let's bring Mikaela her clothes and something to clean up with and get some dinner. I think I need a drink,"

"Master Kane, I thought you didn't like alcohol," Alois tilted his head in confusion.

"After the day we've had, I might just reconsider my position on the matter,"

Miggs started towards the mess of carcasses, leaving the pile of clothing for the others to collect. "Hey if I come near you are you gonna eat me?" he called out.

Mika rolled her eyes and swiped the back of her hand across her mouth. A failed attempt to wipe away the blood that was splattered across her face. "No, but annoy me a little more and I might make you collateral damage,"

Miggs chuckled nervously, "You're kinda scary when you're like this, ya know,"

"Good," she snapped. She sat down on a manticore corpse, this one missing the majority of its insides, and surveyed her crimson masterpiece.

"Miss Mikaela? Um, would you like to use this to clean up a bit? I don't think the towns folk will like it very much if you tracked blood through their town," Alois held out a cloth in her general direction, his head turned as far from her as he could without snapping it clean off.

"I just saved their fields from being trampled by monsters, they should be thanking me,"

Miggs leaned closer to Kane, "See, hangry,"

"Good Gods we're never going to make any progress like this," Kane pulled a pouch of jerky from his satchel and tossed it at her. "Eat this and go back to normal. I can't believe I actually want the other version of you back,"

She snatched the bag out of the air and tore into it, devouring the contents. She leaned back and let out a satisfied sigh. "Thank you Master Kane," she smiled, licking her lips. She looked back over at her party. "You got my clothes?"

"Yes, but clean up a bit first, otherwise taking them off would have been pointless," Kane was shocked by how quickly she'd returned to her former self.

"Yeah, yeah. Give the rag here Oh Righteous One," she laughed, plucking it from Alois's still outstretched hand.

"How are you never disgusted by this stuff? I mean come on this is just gross," Miggs poked at a loose pile of entrails with his bow.

"I've dealt with worse. I've been in worse," she dragged the cloth over her chest and shoulders, half smearing half cleaning the blood that had collected there.

"What does that mean?!" Alois squeaked.

"Ever been inside a dragon?" Mika chuckled.

"Not really my type," Miggs replied, wiping his bow off in the dirt.

"Inside its stomach, you disgusting pig," she retorted, "I got swallowed whole and had to tear my way out without a blade. Fun fact: dragon skin, not so indestructible from the inside,"

"Dear Moon God, it's me, your loyal servant. Could you please send me companions who are not so crass and vulgar? Just as a treat for me? Just once?" Aolis had his hands pressed together as he looked up to the sky.

"Pipe down Preacher Boy, if it wasn't for Crass and Vulgar here you'd all be dead yesterday," Miggs snickered.

"I wouldn't be out here at all if she hadn't used my wagon as a hiding place," he grumbled.

Kane started walking down the road towards town. "I'll be at the tavern,"

"Drinking?" Miggs called back hopefully.

What were you saying was the timeline you wanted to shoot for for recovery enough that they could swim? I know you mentioned that lovely trip to Mykonos at the end of the summer. The front office is pristine, a stereotype of itself, with its indoor plants and white noise machine set to low and big windows that let in plenty of light. The client is still in the career-woman set she wore to work. She's around 40, maybe. I'm guessing at what she does for a living in the back of my mind and assume that she's not technical because we get a lot of technical sorts in here and half are in T-shirts. Maybe I'm a misogynist. But a little into the conversation on her intentions for her toy I realize she is technical, or at least was, before she got further into management and all. Her partner has already had a little work-- ears, tail, though from experience I can see the tail-wagging is fully manual for them and not instinctive as it should be. Might be able to fix that depending on how the nerve hookup looks, and I put it in the notes I'm taking on my laptop. I take the pet's cheek and turn their head to look at the ears a bit more closely, see if the technique is the same as mine. They follow my hand when I pull it away. Play-acting the part? Still, none of this was anything as serious as she's looking into now. she's brought in some pics of the results she's looking for. She knows what she wants-- she's done her research. Which is certainly helpful. Pretty, soft, androgynous dogboys-- or dog-girls? Irrelevant, really. It still charms me, their fluffy little ears and paws and tails. Yes, all the fur, the shape of the snout, the little paws with the thumb still opposable, they need to still be able to type and write, yes, though I confirm that with her. She mentions celebrities' pets as examples. It's expensive and recent, but common enough. I've done it for a couple people I can't name because they wouldn't want to be associated with it, but it's probably already known among those who care to know. I touch on the cognitive bits, assuming it's what she's here for. It is why most people choose me over someone else-- I have the neuro background, the white papers, two malpractice suits I won, a patent for one of the more controversial pacifying tweaks, a lot of rumors I don't dispel because they bring business, even if only half are true. She wants the new one, the patented one. Her partner nods once, flicks their tongue out to wet their lips, doesn't make eye contact. Could just be regular nerves or could be that it turns them on-- I'm perfectly happy with either. She has a few extra requests that might be beyond what's possible now and I discuss it with her. Relieved she seems to understand this isn't as easy as that, it takes development time, trials, resources. But she's heard from a previous client there are things I've been playing with that aren't public knowledge, and I'm willing to divulge a little. It's an evaluation every time-- an interview of them as much as they're interviewing me-- knowing if they'll panic at the chimeras, the behavioral experiments, the six-limbed man I'm still observing for another few days before I release him to his keeper. But she seems fun, and I see the shape of the relationship in the way she beckons her partner like a thrall, and I know she'll probably handle it just fine. I promise I'll show her a couple things if she leaves her phone on the desk. She asks if she can bring the partner-- squeezes their hip a little, possessive, affectionate. I look them up and down, faux-considering. It's probably for the best they wait outside, I say. It can be frightening to see these intermediate stages, even though they don't harm the subjects and they won't remember them. People get surgery without witnessing the full gory detail of surgery, I add, when she hesitates. You don't need to show them their insides, I add, gesturing at her partner. She laughs, in on whatever this is. I fish the keys to the back out of my pocket.

I've made posts like this several times before but part of the reason I enjoy doing furry commissions is bc it's the closest I can get to my sci fi dream job of doing unrealistic and dangerous freelance cybernetics/biohacking for people. I am restricted by reality so a person says "I would like a mouse tail in these colors" and I make the mouse tail (which I am currently cutting pieces for as I write this) and it has loops to attach to a belt. They will get it in the mail and they can be mouse now! A wonderful thing. But what if I could make you a real mousegirl. Come closer

Ok so I’m gonna go ahead and spit ball some Hiveswap theories despite the fact they may end up being incredibly wrong as expectations vs reality for the writing of Hiveswap is currently 6 feet under. This is going to be a long one, so to save y’all time the theories will be under the cut.

First off I’d like to state my own theory on the creature that that shot the train in the ending scene. Everyone is believing that it’s Fiamet’s lusus that did it, but why would Fiamet send her lusus to potentially hurt/kill Joey and Xefros especially knowing (or maybe she doesn’t) that Xefros is Dammek’s moirail? Honestly it wouldn’t make sense, given that she was the one that warned Joey about the world ending in 11 days. If it does end up being her lusus then she has a lot of explaining to do. Cause it kinda makes her a villain by hindering Joey’s and Xefros’ travel. Though I don’t think it’s Fiamet’s lusus. Here’s what I believe the beast could be-

1. The monsters from the first game.

We don’t really know the origin of the monsters from the first cut scene in Hiveswap act 1, and I don’t really think it’s all that much discussed. So where did they come from? Perhaps it was to do with something to do with the portal? Maybe. And we do know that the monsters can come in many varieties, including a monster with wings. (Though, more so bat wings compared to the feathered wings in HS:A2 final cut scene)

2. It’s someone else’s lusus. Okay, so I’ll actually be going into depth of how the beast looks like in the final cut scene. And with everyone theorizing that Fiamet’s lusus being an axolotl, I’ll try debunking the “Fiamet’s lusus shot the train” theory.

First off, the beast doesn’t even remotely look anything similar to an axolotl.

Let’s first look at the couple of screenshots I have (apologies for the bad quality)-

Does that tail look anything like an axolotl’s?? The answer is no, but of a course.

Now, I know what you’re thinking- “But Erifin! Look at the side of the head! It obviously has external gill stalks like a true axolotl!!” That could be a red herring, though, as the things protruding from the side of it’s head could be fluff or feathers. And even it is gill stalks, and it IS an axolotl then why does it’s body look so different than that of an axolotl? Maybe because axolotl’s abilities of regeneration? It kinda seems far-fetched, to be completely honest. But who knows?

So who does the lusus belong to then? Well, maybe there’s going to be a new troll introduced in act 3 that will serve as act 3′s main antagonist Or maybe it’s just a wild lusus that itself will be the main villain.

So now it begs the question, what could this be? Well here’s some ideas I thought of:

1. It’s a weird lizard/amphibian and bird hybrid. It’s not the crazy for there to be a lusus like that, this is Alternia after all. I’m also getting some chameleon vibes from it. Though, this may be relating to the mythology of feathered serpents. Which, by the way, is a spirit deity from mesoamerica. Roughly around the same area that axolotl’s live.

2. A griffin. And yes, I’m bringing up mythological creatures into this. If the Pyropes can have dragons as a lusus then other trolls can have other mythological creatures as lusi as well. The body and proportions fit nicely to that of an griffin, even the tail!  However, griffins don’t breathe fire so it’s unlikely that this is a griffin.

3. A chimera, to me this seems like the most obvious choice, sense chimeras are already hybrids to begin with, as if number 1 is true technically this theory is gonna still be true (at least somewhat). Chimeras in mythology are a mash of an lion, goat, and snake, and I’m sure if the crew wanted to make creative decisions they’d also add in some avian wings in the mix. The proportions are similar to that of a lion, the fluff can also be it’s mane. The need to be on a rock, and keep low to the ground could a be a mix of a predators stalking skills and the serpent part. The tail? Obviously the snake head. Oh, and chimeras can breathe fire as well. However the goat part has me thrown off, so who knows if I’m even right.

4. And finally, number 4, I was somehow wrong. Somehow this was Fiamet’s lusus all along, and somehow it is an axolotl. Who knows, we probably have to wait another 1000 years to find that out.

That’s it on the beast theory, now let me ramble a little longer about certain hopes I have about certain characters that may end up becoming more important in act 3. Particularly the trolls that show up in the final cut scene. That is- Martsi, Cirava, Lanque, Tyzias, Elwurd, Mallek, Ardata, Chaut, and finally, Marvus. Now why would they be important? I don’t really know either, but I can sure take a fucking guess! And given that the train fell into a river, I guess one can go ahead and guess that many of the trolls on the train did die. And given that the train was shot near the rust/bronze and gold/olive carts I think it’s safe to say that the most fatalities are going to come from the lower bloods and not so much the high bloods (high bloods are tougher to kill after all).

Hopefully all the troll call trolls end up surviving the crash, but considering hmmm y’know I don’t think it’s likely. But, one can keep their hopes up! However, I do think the certain set of trolls that did show up in the final scene will survive. But why? What will they do that will earn them the chance to live? Let’s get into that.

Martsi’s up first. She was the closest to the blast zone, so there’s a chance that she ends up dying later on. However, if she does live, and from what we have seen in her friendsim (regardless of whether or not friendsim is canon) she seemed to take interest in being a doctor. So I can see her trying to look for survivors and tending to their wounds.

Next is Cirava, I don’t really know what Cirava would do, perhaps they decide to join the rebellion after being convinced by Joey and Xefros. Especially given that Xefros is starting to gain more confidence and thinking for himself for once. Meaning Xefros may go around trying to recruit some trolls to join him and Joey. Or maybe it has to do with something with psionics? Though, that would mean all other gold bloods are dead or passed out. I hope Joey and Xefros do get a party of sorts while they travel I think that’d be fun!

Next is Lanque and Tyzias. Tyzias is a little more obvious, her want to change the system, especially the judicial system, could lead to her joining the rebellion. If Xefros and Joey are trying to recruit others she’d probably join in a heartbeat. Lanque is a little more complicated, I think he will die, but will come back as a rainbow drinker. He does have the title as a life player after all. I think he will die either because the crash killed him, or he died saving someone. I can imagine if the other jades do survive, they’d probably be very shocked. Personally I think Wanshi would take it the hardest as I believe he’d protect her, thus showing us a softer side to him. And as they mourn him he comes back! And it’s very much shocking for everybody! As a monster of sorts he may end up deciding to leave since he’d no longer fit in, since he’s technically dead. He could also take it as an opportunity to finally be free from his duties. His glow/immortality can even come in handy in certain parts of the potential game play.

Next are these two, as for what they’ll do honestly I think Elwurd is just there for  fanservice and Mallek? Well, he may help with certain electronics if all the gold bloods besides Cirava do die. Like he takes apart certain parts of the train to make something? I do think they may want to join Joey and Xefros, but Mallek for rebellion moreover then Elwurd given we don’t really know what Elwurd’s loyalty lays.

And then there’s Ardata. She looks very suspicious, no? She may end up becoming a more important villain in act 3. Overall, she looks very...............shady.

And finally, the two eldest clowns. I don’t think they’ll join Joey and Xefros, rather I think they’re still going to be villains. Perhaps they decide to hunt Joey and Xefros down? Maybe they think they’re the ones who crashed the train?

That’s all I gotta say, I don’t think any of my theories will end up becoming true anyways. But hey, one can dream. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my rambling, and apologies if my writing is terrible and there’s grammatical errors everywhere. But what do you think? Let me know!
