Missing fight scenes actually makes sense since they are older and more capable of taking down monsters. Also this was supposed to be more like a crack book, where they just hang out as teenagers, without more trauma XD

I agree on that old age thing, it was kind of cheesy? But still, made me smile. And tear up 👉👈 They are my kids, thinking of them getting old-

About Grover, I think it would link with the other books because on Read Riordan we know Grover is very sad because he thinks they gonna leave him- I think in next books Percy and Annabeth would realize this and show him that he is wrong :) In toa they left for college all together, Grovar was with them. I think like he would be left alone at Hecate's house since both of them would be in school and maybe we would see his feelings- They are all just guesses tho XD

Other than that, their dynamics were everything! I mean there was almost nothing serious about it and I laughed at every page. Percy's pov are everything and I MISSED it sooo much! The titles too! The new characters are very good too, minor gods( Hebe, Iris, that Lake god, GANYMADE) their were amazing! Them turning to 8 years old babies by Hebe! Omg I LOVED IT. Humor and fluff was everything. And my fav scene: Athena catching Percy XD Like I lost it! It was sooo good. Her helping her future son in law, finally accept him because her love for her daughter :) Love them. Zeus's Llama story... Well, lets say I kinda missed them too XD And of course, Sally, Paul, Annabeth, Percy acting as a family. Annabeth and Paul's interactions were adorable! Grover banging in for tofu was also hilarious lmao. And he was sad there because it was their last summer :( Sally and Annabeth being close, Sally giving THE NEWS. Baby Estelle is on the way! Percy's reaction, also being sad because he would miss many of her early life :(

I only had one problem with the book: Lack of physical decriptions. I didn't really understand the reason because like in every book we had at least one page of Percy gushing over Annabeth, talking about her gray eyes etc. Grover and the gods same too. I mean, this made me a little sad because I really wanted to know what they look like, I am into imagining while reading. I mean, Rick changing the descriptions with the show ones or something? Don't get me wrong I adore the show and the cast but I really think they should have their own canon timelines ❤

Other than that, I can easily say it was now my fav pjo book. I mean I teared up with happiness, nostalgia I felt... I love OG trio more than anything 🥲 I can't wait for the next book-

"Come Home" — Deku:

I don't even know if this would be considered a fic?? Cuz honestly this was such a short little thing that I wrote in under like 15 minutes 😭 probably the shortest amount of time it's taken me to ever write literally anything. But it was after I watched S6 E136 and literally that night I had a dream where this whole scene was played out in my head. And it just felt so dramatic in the right ways and just raw emotion that I had to write it down. And it's STILL my most liked post on this entire blog😭 but honestly understandable bc sometimes I go back and read it and I'm just like "damn wait I wrote that????" lmfaoo

"Only for you, Toshi" — Shinsou:

Completely opposite from the last one, this is actually the longest thing I've ever written. (that's posted anyway, there's a few longer still in my drafts) I just feel like Shinsou doesn't get enough love but he definitely deserves it😭❤️ all my friends that read it said they really enjoyed it and I'm just really happy with how it came out after working on it for a couple weeks, and that not touching it for a few months and then coming back to it only to finish it in like 2 days lmao

"Attention" — Dabi:

Now this wouldn't be a post about my fics if I didn't include something for my absolute favorite character in the entire show🖤 this fic was very self indulgent bc I'm such a brat🤭 and I'm convinced that Dabi is the king of brat taming. Fun fact, the outfit I described is something I literally own in my closet 😂

"Secrets" — BakuDeku x reader [UNFINISHED]:

This is a multi-part series I'm co-writing with my bsf @haru-x-ren on a joint account we made. (@bunny-x-haru if you'd like to follow) it's currently still a work in progress with only a few parts released, but it is a continuation of a 2 part fic I wrote when I first started called "You're the Only Thing That Makes Sense" — Bakugo So I do recommend reading this one first before Secrets for context and background info. I feel like you can really see my growth in writing from then to now, cuz that was like literally the second thing I ever posted lol. And Haru was literally my biggest fan bc he's the one that got me into writing fanfic<3 so after he read it, he had this absolutely BRILLIANT idea (spoiler) to take the scene I wrote where bakugo and deku were caught fighting after school hours (similar to that scene from season....2? When Bakugo learned about OFA) and turn it into a BakuDeku love triangle and I was honestly obsessed with the idea

And lastly

"For Your Eyes Only" — Dabi:

Another one for my fav<3 this one was for his birthday and is very nasty🤭 also with a little bit of fluff at the end bc I am indeed a hopeless romantic with no romance🥲 also, the cover photo is most definitely the reaction I was imagining when he walks into the room lmao

I know it's been a while since I've posted any writing and I am so sorry 😭 I guess I've just been in a little bit of a funk when it comes to my creativity lately. I mean I've got plenty, and I do mean PLENTY of ideas written down, but Im having a hard time executing them and turning them into something I can post. MY THE VILLIANS LAIR HEADCANONS (AND THOUGHTS/THEORIES) BECAUSE IM OBSESSED WITH IT AND I THINK ABOUT IT EVERYDAY AAAAAAAAAAAAAA (SPOILERS!)

- Jafar just *knows* everyone's business, I got this from the beginning of the life's not fair episode where he's talking to the Queen and he's like: "I heard you're little argument last night" (Or something like that) And I can just imagine him like standing by a door with his parrot and being like "Oh damn the girl's are FIGHTING"

- The Evil Queen is inlove with Malificent but due to internalised homophobia and because she just hates Malificent for being better then her she won't admit it to herself. I got this from a comment on the that's all video that was like "Oh is the Queen suspicious of Malificent because she doesn't want her to get back with Hades?" and DAMN THE ANGST THAT WOULD BRING As for Malificent, I don't think she realises she feels the same, Because to her, Relationships are a way of benefit (I'm gonna circle back to this with my Malificent is autistic coded headcanon) But yeah, Toxic doomed yuri slurp slurp

- All I ever wanted...Aka the BEST FUCKING SONG IN THE ENTIRE SERIES The song is giving autistic rage and I love it, I feel every character in that song has faced SOME kind of discrimination in they're life and to me it's giving "I've been treated like shit my entire life for what I am, Die bitch" Like, Jafar and Frollo just kind of are assholes, The argument could be made Jafar faced racism but like, Everyone else in Agrabah (Fictional place in Arabia) was ATLEAST TAN so, Unfortunately this ain't starkid productions Jafar guys 😔 (Frollo just sucks so we're gonna move on) Hook, Malificent and Scar are the REAL stars of the show here! Hook (My beloved) Of course faced discrimination for being disabled physically, This is confirmed in Life's not fair. (Im just gonna gloss over Scar cuz i don't have much to say about him, His singing was great though and again, Autistic rage core)...Malificent...I believe she's autistic coded, Her lines in All I ever wanted are SO REAL, Sure you could *also* argue that she's being discriminated against for being green and...Yknow, A demon basically. But I want my autistic rep and I'm gonna get it. Anyway, To me, Malificent isn't a human (Yeah duh) And I think that she's simply mimicking (Masking) human actions and etiquette to better fool them, She learned how humans manipulate other humans, She learned how humans act, and all that jazz. But still...She has that aura of...Skinwalker energy, I guess? Like, She's acting like a human even though she isn't. Now I'm not saying autistic people aren't human (I'm autistic myself and I can confirm, I'm mostly organic) But the experience of being autistic is like, Resonated trough Malificent. This is a very "I'm projecting onto her" headcanon, So it might sound a little bogus but, It's Malificent, Everything about her is pretty bogus.

- Hook is Bisexual with a preference for masculinity, Yes I know his actor is gay (Robbie Pigott is my fav actor just cuz he plays Hook no joke) But Hook gives more bi energy to me then he does fully gay man

- The plot twist at the last episode has got me speculating on who Malificent's mom is, My biggest and most likely answer is the wicked witch if the west because 1. She's green 2. They made an evolution video about her recently instead of a princess like they usually do, And 3. It just makes sense. But I secretly hope it's not her just so I can be wrong and be suprised, Like, The witch and Malificent are 2 different shades of green (Malificent is more lighter-ish while The witch is a more pronounced green) I mean, Idk how DNA and skin tones work in they're world, Like for gods sake the Horned King is a skeleton, How did he get boned? (Haha funny pun) like, He has no balls or life in him so, I'm gonna have to assume he lost his skin afterwards cuz...what the flip...(Or maybe the witch is just really freaky like that) (Or maybe surrogates exist???)

- Ursula and Facilier are actually really cute together and I think Facilier is really smitten by her, While she doesn't really pay any mind to it, I hope she falls for him too cuz they're really cute

- I like to think that the livestream QnA with the villians are like a separate actor AU, Like they're just actors being hired after getting they're asses beat and are now role-playing they're revenge is really funny to me, Also i like how in the Hook and Queen lievstream the Queen has to walk off so she doesn't start laughing it's really cute and gives her character some humanity, I like when they humanise the villians in small ways :)

- I REALLY hope the villians lair becomes like, A found family thing or something, Like having them be friends and caring about eachother and finding comfort with eachother is just SO CUTE AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

-I know Frollo is like, One of the most favourite'd villians in the Disney franchise for how well written he is, But I'm honestly glad he takes a back seat in the show, I love how Character's like Hook, Gaston and Hans (Who aren't as popular as Frollo writing-wise) Get to be on screen more, I like this mostly because I wanna see them humanise the villians and make them feel more real yknow? Like, Frollo is already cemented himself as a realistic villian so, He doesn't need further development, So it's nice the more one-dimensional guy's get some screen time and hopefully soon some depth :)

Malleus x Riddle shipper here! Honestly for me they started as a semi-crack ship, but then I read the Ghost Marriage vignette as well as Mal's second birthday vignette and those made me actually ship it. They seem to have a genuine respect for each other while also being kinda awkward because neither of then knows how to make friends. And I think that's part of the appeal! These two people that everyone sees as scary/intimidating awkwardly trying to figure out how to talk to each other and then learning how to form connections through each other. Also they both enjoy tea and learning stuff, so they can talk to each other for hours about various subjects over tea dates. :>

I knew about the Ghost Marriage vignette thing between the two but honestly it never struck to me much about their dynamic. I guess it was because my main focus was that Mal really cared about Lilia and Sebek and thus asked Riddle to help get his friends back.

Now thinking about it— yeah Malleus and Riddle does share some similliarities. I can now see why the ship is appealing. But I also now find it a little funny seeing how everyone is afraid of the small short strowberri boi that is Riddle even if his fierce reputation is evidence to how people percieve him.

I can imagine Malleus talking about their inability to make friends over tea and Malleus is probably unintentionally flirting while also asking a genuine question be like:

"But you look as enduring as those garden insects you call ants. How could people possibly find you intimidating?"

*Tea sipping stops.* "Pardon me?—"

Okay that may be a stretch but Im pretty sure Mal hasnt been outside of the dorms much and especially to interract with Riddle before the Ghost Marriage encounter.

sgu writers were so so foul for not giving us any more major rush/young moments after twin destinies. like that was such a huge Moment for them and their relationship and instead of building off of that we only got “good morning” in one of the eps. come onnnn.

anyways, one of the most fascinating things about rush/young is definitely just how physical they get with one another. they tussle a lot! and it’s always hands on! so my thesis is once their relationship really establishes and settles down (however much it can, although I do believe they can forge a real unbreakable bond or whatever) they just gonna channel those impulses into different areas aka fucking each other nasty adsfgjghjk. that’ll do them a lot of good. like seriously physical side of relationship, not just sex but non-sexual intimacy too, should come easy to them bc they already know each other intimately (but in a very violent context ofc).

my perhaps hottest take is that young needs to get topped by rush, at least once in a while. that would be very therapeutic…..ahem

yeah, yEAH, we needed more than just a 'good morning', I get that the show cannot be just two people show, but I really wish we had more of development there with these two. Guess that's what supposed to happen in s3, I mean everything was leading to that, but we will never know since it was cancelled, and I'm now forever pissed off about it.

young absolutely needs to be topped by rush, god, just think about it, rush who always tries to have control but usually loses it, he can't hold it, he always tries to get it and fails, and young who also tries to have control over everything, but actually does not want it? he is more like needing control over things because that's the only way he can pretend to have it all together, but honestly I think he would gladly give the control to smb else, if he trusted them enough. so young giving control over himself to rush intimately would be definitely therapeutic. I mean, that would be a catharsis of their relationship.

Im gonna be thinking about it now, just imagining what could lead them to that, and how they would act in the process and the aftermath of it all.

not sure they would handle it well though, I mean, that's young and rush, but they can do better, so here's hope lmao

Blue Hair- I feel like this song has them sort of taking turns singing, because its from their different perspectives at different times. Like,”There's really no way of winning / If in their eyes you'll always be a dumb blonde” is about 2D because he’s seen as the sort of brainless pretty boy front man of the band, and “And she cried over nothing, so there was nothing I could do to stop / Her from cutting her beautiful blue hair off” is about Charlie, and I mainly imagine this to take place during Phase 3, so at the end with the lyrics “Last I heard she was living with a boy who acts his age / And I guess I'll just miss her even though she isn't even really gone / But things are just different ever since she cut her blue hair off” is about both of them after leaving Plastic Beach and finding each other and the rest of the band and living together in the house on Wobble Street in DoYaThing (i explained this a lot better in this post :P also special thanks to the anon that introduced me to this song :D)

How Long?- This is from the perspective of 2D, and its mainly the chorus I attribute to their relationship, again on Plastic Beach (”How long 'til we sink to the bottom of the sea? How long, how long? / How long 'til we sink and it's only you and me? How long, how long?”)

On Melancholy Hill- OF COURSE im going to be putting Plastic Beach songs in the playlist!!! This song is one of my absolute favorites, and it’s perfect for encapsulating 2D’s feelings for Charlie, especially during Phase 3. Also i kind of think of the manatee in both the song and the music video being representative of Charlie’s happiness (in the events of Plastic Beach Charlie basically adopts it and its sort of the opposite of the 2D’s whale, in which it brings her happiness while the whale scares 2D), and it being stolen by the Boogieman in the music video is representative of how Murdoc put her in a bad place along with the rest of the band because of everything on Plastic Beach.

To Binge- A beautiful duet between 2D and Charlie, with Charlie dealing with all of these feelings (being kidnapped and stuck on and island made of plastic and trash, having been held captive prior and living in a submarine with the only sustenance being superfast jellyfish, missing Noodle and Russel and missing the friendship she had with Murdoc, and feeling that 2D is her only source of comfort and wondering what they really are relationship-wise), and 2D feeling miserable as well in these circumstances, and trying his best to help Charlie like shes helped him, and he confesses to her that he loves her so much!!!

A Thousand Miles- This song gives me so much nostalgia for when i first got into Gorillaz, and it makes me think about 2D and Charlie after the events of Plastic Beach when the whole band moves back in together in the 212 Wobble Street house. I feel like it’s the song that they would say is their song (bc it came out in 2010 and so its a couple years afterward in DoYaThing)

Flower Moon- Then this song is sort of describes whats happening during Phase 7, with Moon Flower and the Forever Cult, but its also Charlie and 2D. I honestly dont have that much of a reasoning for this song, it just makes me think of them.

Tarantula- This is my second fav song from Cracker Island, and its a love song!! It’s just a real sweet song that 2D sings about Charlie and theyre just so in love <333 I sort of think of this as 2D’s thoughts running through his head as hes being saved by the band from the Forever Cult and Charlie carries him out and they escape the hollywood sign, in a sort of alternate ending to the Silent Running music video. 2D is still drowsy from the drink that Moon Flower gave him and he’s just spilling his heart out to Charlie while theyre sitting in the hospital/police station.

I generally HATEEEE indulging in discourse but i hate how people sometimes reduce him to a teenage crush and ignoring everything else about his character and villainizing him like he's super evil 😭😭 he's a really great character with wonderful development and i wish that could be focused on a little more. yes maybe he could cook me dinner and cure my picky eating. idk i feel like he's a good cook. we could watch movies together. i feel like he'd make a really good roommate.. keeps his spaces clean and is pretty respectful and such 🫡

i think so definitely!!! we'd probably annoy each other sometimes but we'd get along well. maybe we're too similar sometimes?? feel like we'd get into silly arguments over differing opinions on a show we were watching LMAO and we both end up pouting but forgive the other eventually... even tho it takes a while since we're both stubborn

anyone who knows me well is familiar with my not-so-guilty affinity for erejean UGHHHH i adore them they might be my favorite aot ship. definitely top three at least i love them sm. but ofc naturally i love jeanpiku a lot for post-canon i think they would be so great together 😿 they're so very fun to write too like aw so lovely

jeanhitch/dreystein. it's just Fine. like i dont hate it but i dont personally like it either. but shipping it doesn't annoy me or anything. i just prefer them as unlikely best friends who talk mad shit. i tend to like most jean ships he's very shippable. jeanmarco used to be my main ship LOL

obviously sasha and connie 😿 like my silly little trio they're so fun they deserved happiness. jean and connie as the fun uncles to niccosasha children idk i can yearn a little 💔

this probably doesn't match very well but just because i ALSO adore him im gonna say leon kennedy (specifically re4 version because re2 is a little too idealistic for jean). just hardened from the experiences and snarky/jokey but still willing to go the distance to help people. i find leon's attitude and subsequent personality change following the rc incident comparable to jean's shift following marco's death. also him in infinite darkness just bears a strong resemblance so the comparison is low hanging fruit there LMAO

can't fully remember but i remember finding him kinda embarrassing but in an endearing way LMAO like that's my favorite boyfailure truly. and now ofc i adore him he's fighting with erwin for the spot of my favorite aot character

Listening to one song on repeat

My experience with listening to a certain sound or song on repeat for long periods of time.

Shown below all this text is my most recent streams on Spotify. as you can see,, there is just one song listed, and that's because It's all I've listened to for the past 2 days or so.

I have done this kinda thing sing as long as I recall having personal access and control over what I listen to. my earliest memories of it being the time my mom let me chose the song we play on the sound system (the song in question was Rock the Nation by Michael Franti) and i would constantly ask her to "play it again!" until she couldn't handle it anymore. Next it was when we bought the Curious George movie on CD and in the bonus features, there was a music video for the song played earlier in the movie Upsidedown by Jack Johnson (again was eventually asked to stop playing it over and over lmao.

Next was when i was old enough to stay for the "after school program" it essentially let the kids get into fun toys and boardgames and such and what I would do every single time is find one of the three sony CD walkmen in the electronics box, put in the Shrek soundtrack cd and set SmashMouth's allstar to loop, then proceed to walk up and down the gym's left wall gliding my fingers against the textured grout for the next hour and a half to three hours depending if it was an extended day.

Next was another walkman, my older sibling's bf at the time would bring one over with him when he visited along with his latest playlist burned to a cd and would let me borrow it. this is when I heard the oh-so-familiar and desired FireFlies by Owlcity (my current fav song at the time that I could only hear on the car radio when going into town) where I would proceed to lie on my upper bunk bed in complete darkness and imagine I was in space.

Another time was when a different friend would bring over their iPod and I would loop a couple greenday and Metallica songs over and over (I don't remember the song names now lmao)

Fast forward to my teen years im actively annoying my siblings after playing a song 7 times too many. yada yada ya-

I am aware of that now,,

my friends have been pointing out traits that were worth looking into for a while and I finally did and ya. when I went in they said it was not hard to notice and identify it from the moment I walked in the door.

Anyway, this post isnt about that its actually about how self-aware and insecure I've become from having others perceive this part of me. I've never really had any bad experiences aside from the occasional family member shout at me to "stop playing the same song" which is whatever.

The real issue for me is things like Spotify Wrapped and the idea that what I listen to as an auditory stim is perceived as my "taste" in music and such. i guess its rooted in maintaining a kind of character in the social aspect, and feeling like I have to make what I listen to look palatable to peers and that means having a high listen count and knowledge of artists whose music has meaning and depth while also not being caught listening to the opposite (breakcore, hyperpop, noise, goofy nonsensical hip-hopy stuff, etc)(?)

Which I'm finding to be stackingly exhausting and I think I've trying this year and lastyear to give myself the grace of being me and not conforming to the shape I feel pressured to fit into.

I hear and read a lot of peer's takes or reviews on music and such (which I think is important to have ofc) but it kinda feels to cliquey for me to feel fully comfortable being in those circle's conversations.

sometimes i just like the noises and vibration pattern coming from a specific artist's stuff and don't take in or care about the meaning or depth of a song's lyrics,, anyways yeah. here's some of the semi-recent past loops: (noise warning on some!🔊) 757, Hollywood baby, Improved mashcore, kickback, 3 o'clock things, Being so normal, Uncanny long arms, Leg room, Stuck Inside
