it's the final video of the current hermitcraft season, you open it to find grian doing a final tour of the server, of all the builds and funny stories that had happened

then he goes to the place that started it all, the fishing dock. he never did get that mending book after all

imagine him fishing for one last time for old times sake, the string bobs and he reels in a book

he laughs figuring it’s a sharpness or bane of arthropods, or something just as useless to him. still he goes and opens his inventory. his cursor hovers over the book and right there it says-

mending

in glowing shimmering purple. there is a silence so deafening that you think that someone was murdered

you can physically see his soul leave his body before the most ear piercing scream-

i think the thing i'm most disappointed about with riordanverse fandom now versus like 2014 is not only has the fandom not gotten any less racist or queerphobic or ableist (in fact in some regards its gotten worse!) but now it's just boring too. like there's no fandom infrastructure anymore - the community these days is almost entirely source material-driven - and you deviate from canon even slightly people get weird about it. whatever happened to the post-HoO fanon boom. the fandom needs to get weirder again. and self-sufficient. and less offensive.

Hey everyone!

Due to the constraints of secondary blogs, I've decided to start a whole new tumblr. I never thought this lil side blog would get that much attention, but here we are (and I can't thank you all enough for your kindness and support)!

I aim to continue doodling our favorite little baby man for the foreseeable future, so I figure I oughta straighten stuff out now instead of later. Hence, new blog.

Both blogs will be posting the same content until December 31st, so by following one and dropping the other, you won't miss out on anything! After December 31st, I'll be officially moving the whole operation to the new blog, and this one will (likely) be deleted.

Also I'll rename the new one to just "solhunder." Because obviously.
