Summary: The Gang with cuteness agression Warning: none Author's Note: none PONYBOY CURTIS Most of the time Ponyboy finds cuteness agression annoying, he has to deal with people treating him like a kid all the time so he keeps it in mind not to do it to others. However, sometimes he can't resist and he just gets giddy because to him you're so cute. He'll keep it at bay and side hug you when you walk by but he's genuinely so infatuated with you. You don't have to be doing much to cause it, it's more based on his mood than anything. If he's feeling happy and a little more relaxed, you're more likely to get a reaction out of him. JOHNNY CADE Johnny doesn't like cuteness agression either, he thinks it belittles him and others and also he's really unused to it so he finds it rather awkward He'll only do it when he's really tired, when he's delerious from sleep. He usually tries to not do it because he doesn't want to belittle you but when he's tired he's willing to give in. You two just happen to be falling asleep in the lot when he snuggles up to you and falls asleep. That's about all he will do though, except maybe the occasional squeeze of the hand when you're together. SODAPOP CURTIS Sodapop lives for cuteness agression, he likes it a lot and finds it fun when either he or you initiates it. He probably likes it because secretly he's a little childish and gets shy and stuff when you compliment him. He does it whenever he needs a little boost in mood, because if he gives it to you, chances are you give it back. It's not transactional but more a tradition lol. Whenever he finds you alone or when it just you and his family he'll do get cuteness agression with you. He prefers to not do it in front of the rest of the gang except Steve and definetly not infront of strangers. STEVE RANDLE Steve isn't a super big fan of cuteness agression, he's just not the kind of guy to squeeze the cheeks of his girlfriend like a grandma. He prefers to show his affection through other things. However, he'll do it once and a while when he's piss drunk. He'll walk up to you and squeeze one of your cheeks till its red while giggling like a mad man.

Steve, who is not unlike Sodapop, will only do it around Soda or in private. He doesn't want to show the whole world your private life so he likes to keep it with people he trusts. TWO BIT MATHEWS Two Bit doesn't dislike cuteness agression, he just doesn't care for it a lot. He doesn't think about it a lot so he never does it and in the end he just finds other ways to mess with you. He, like Steve, only does it when he's drunk, although it doesn't take quite as much liquor to get him there as he's more aware of cuteness agression, unlike Steve. He likes to squish your face like a fish when he's in a good mood and drunk, usually when you two are alone and watching a movie at night. Although he's open to acting goofy in public when he's intoxicated. DARRY CURTIS Darry likes to pamper his girlfriend, so he actually gets a really bad case of cuteness agression when you're around. He doesn't act on it but he thinks that you're the best thing thats happened to him. When he can, he'll pick you up and hold you really tightly, and sometimes spin you around to get you to laugh. He likes doing it to see you smile or laugh but he also like picking you up and being close with you. He'll do it where ever he wants, the gang knows better than to poke fun at him because he's twice as strong as they are and he supplies them a house. They'll often laugh at you two and call you lovebirds, but that's as far as the teasing goes. DALLAS WINSTON I hate to be the bringer of bad news but Dallas Winston would not get cuteness agression. Theres nothing I can think of to write in this section. The best case scenario is that he does get extremely pissed at you and instead gets only a normal amount of pissed at you. And only if he's feeling extra nice for some strange and deranged reason, (bro is NOT getting off the naughty list)

Alright, regroup. There’s not that much time left until you both have to pack again and make your way back home- and he still hasn’t managed to pop the question.

So today, he’s got a new plan: A nice picnic at a nearby park, all romantic, making use of the good weather forecast. He’s been up way earlier than usual to make some snacks and sandwiches, pack some wine in the rented car, just to wake you up later after he’s made sure he placed the little box inside his pocket as well, so he can have it on himself when he’s ready to make that step.

Walking onto the bedroom where you’re watching him with one eye cracked open, he can’t help but laugh a little as he crawls over you, pressing a kiss to your cheek. “Why’re you up already?” You slur sleepily, while he playfully lets his weight press down on you for a moment. “Come back to bed..” You demand weakly, turning a little to pull him close to you.

“No can do baby.” He grins. “Have something planned for us today.” He tells you, before he leans up again and pecks your lips once more. “And that requires you to get up and dressed. Up up!” He teases, smacking your butt beneath the blankets before he escapes your wrath by running out the bedroom to let you get ready.

This time he’ll get it right.

He’s busy setting everything up while you roam through the bag with the food with wonder, when he hears something odd from close by- something he can’t help but notice, especially when you ask him about it too. “It almost sounds like something whimpering?” You ask, confused and mildly concerned- and Jungkook agrees with that feeling.

You both get up to walk towards the sound to investigate it, finding nothing at first- until the sound becomes louder, and Jungkook finds the source of it between two thick branches of a bush in the park.

It’s a dog- a small one, back legs strapped into a little wheelchair, which got stuck in the branches, causing him to stay fixated in an odd position, helplessly struggling to get back out of his unfortunate situation. “Oh no, buddy-” Jungkook instantly coos, carefully bending down to figure out a way to get the poor dog out.

And once he does, the little canine is eager to show his gratitude by happily jumping up with his front legs, yapping with no agression at Jungkook who can’t help but be affected by the cuteness of the admittedly a little scruffy looking little guy.

“He’s so cute!” You beam at the little dog, squatting down to pet the disabled pup who happily receives the attention you give him. “You’re such a good boy!” You can’t help but tell the little guy, and Jungkook feels his heart swell at the sight of the small thing wagging his tail wildly.

“Oh, there he is!” A woman calls, the small dog running towards her with his wheels.

“He got stuck in the branches there.” Jungkook explains. “So we helped him out. Is he your dog?” He wonders, and the woman shrugs.

“Kind of? I’m fostering him for the moment, he’s actually up for adoption.” She explains, and at that, your head turns a little. “He’s from a hoarder situation. His back legs are paralyzed from an accident but he actually gets around just fine! In the house he doesn’t need the wheelchair at all- I just put some socks over his legs so he doesn’t rub them open. But he’s just as quick for breakfast lunch and dinner as the rest.” She jokes, making Jungkook and you laugh as you watch the little dog look around the park.

“How old is he?” You wonder, and she sighs.

“About five? Maybe six? It’s hard to tell, really.” She admits. “And I know he looks a bit scruffy but I promise he’s a sweetheart.” She sighs.

“Oh no, he’s super cute!” You argue, happily petting the little dog who’s tongue seems to be a bit disoriented as he lets you pet him all you want. “And so handsome, yes you are!” You tell the dog who’s got neither an idea about what you’re telling him, nor does he seem to care.

“No really, I agree. He’s totally cute.” Jungkook says.

“I’m glad at least someone says it.” The woman laughs relieved. “He doesn’t have good chances for adoption since he’s disabled and you know, his eyes are a bit cloudy already and all that.” She huffs. “If you want I can give you my contact info and we could maybe stay in touch?” She hopefully asks, and Jungkook looks over to you. “Bowser seems to have fallen for your girlfriend already.” She laughs, and Jungkook’s eyes widen.

The dog’s name is bowser.

“I totally fell for him too!” You laugh, chasing the little guy around, careful as to not make the wheelchair tip over. “I mean, we’re not from the area though.” You admit, but the lady shakes her head.

“No problem!” She offers. “It’s a process anyways. Someone’s going to visit you first, check if everything’s alright, and then we’ll talk about the adoption and all that- if you’re interested, that is.” She shrugs, already sharing her phone number with Jungkook who didn’t even notice pulling out his phone.

And after saying goodbye to both the dog and the lady, he can’t help himself as you both sit back on the blanket he’d set out earlier.

“Bowser!” Jungkook whines. “His name was bowser babe, that’s the cutest shit ever! Like a sign!” He says, and you laugh.

“He was really cute. But.. Do you think we’re really ready for a dog?” You ask a little worried, making him shrug.

“I mean, I work from home, mostly. So I’d always be around.” He says. “And you kind of hinted at wanting a pet this year too?” He asks, and you nod.

“I just.. Didn’t know if you wanted that with me.” You mumble a little. “It’s kind of like getting a kid, you know? A big responsibility and all that. Makes a relationship turn really serious.” You say, and at that, Jungkook leans closer to hold your hands.

“Baby, I’ve been taking this relationship seriously from the very start.” He offers. “I always will. And I want to take that step with you, if you’re up for it.” He grins, leaning forward to peck your lips.

And you can’t help but smile as well, throughout the entire way home-

The whole situation making him almost forget that he just fucked up another try to pop the question, only realizing it when he’s in bed with you already, making him angrily run his hands over his face in the darkness of the bedroom.

Why the hell does the world seem to play against him every fucking time?!

J2 JIB11 Panel

The stars aligned and this year both boys were able to attend JIB which means we got a j2 panel! 🙌

There was a cute and funny moment at the beginning of the panel because Jared went to give Jensen a fist bump but he didn't notice and I guess Jared told him and he cracked up laughing and then they fist bumped. Jared shares that their flight got delayed, and that morning he was signing something and a fan asked him how he was and he replied that he was good that he actually felt awake even though he didn't look it and she just went "oh, i know. your face" 😆 To be fair, both of them do look and sound tired.

Also, you'll notice both are wearing Gucci jackets, they were a gift to them and M from Daniela the organizer of this event.

Jumping into the questions, first one up is: Has there ever been a moment on set where they had to overcome their, or one of, their greatest fears to shoot the scene? For Jared the thing that comes to mind is French Mistake. He says it's one of the most nervous times he's been on the spn set due to all the comedic stuff. He didn't feel comfortable doing comedy as Sam, so he would get really nervous when Sam had to be funny because he was like "Sam’s not really funny he’s kind of just chill". He got really nervous shooting some of the comedic scenes but that otherwise it was pretty fun even the stunt stuff. 

Jensen agress and says he doesn’t think there was ever a greatest fear moment while they were filming spn. That they’re doing network tv which is pretty tame in the world of television and they don’t really write stuff that he thinks would be too out of their comfort zone, and after a few seasons the writers knew what their comfort zone was and kind of played in that and utilized it. He was more uncomfortable doing stuff in The boys.

Jared says he looked comfortable, and Jensen replies "it’s called acting dear boy. I was not comfortable". He says that he was very nervous in a few of those scenes, so much so that he called his mom and told her she'd want to skip the show, that she was not the target audience.

Jared asks him if he has ever shared the story about him calling Kripke and saying he was unsure about some things. He has. Jensen says there were a few scenes he was asked to do that he didn't know he had a line but Kripke found it and Jensen couldn't cross it, he has children who may grow up and see this. Says he thinks there was supposed to be more revealed when Soldier Boy was revealed for the first time and there was supposed to be a little bit more intimacy when Soldier Boy had his fun with the ladies. And he once again shares about how his first day on set, the very first scene he had to film was stepping out of the capsule in front of his new cast and crew butt naked.

Jared makes a joke that he has some of the behind the scenes stuff and he’ll post it later and Jensen quips no pun intended 🤣 We know you do baby 😏

Jared also adds that the most nervous he ever got on the set of spn for another person was the scene where Sam gets hit by a car. It wasn’t him, and their stunts while not dangerous were intense but they felt they could take the hit or do whatever but when his stunt man Mike Carpenter did that scene, he had short hair so they put a bald cap on him and put like a thick liquid padding and then the Sam wig and that’s all he had covering his skull for getting hit by a car. And with this type of stunt there's no way to really control it like the way you land, you just have to try your best not to land on your skull. So they do it the first time, they're watching it wondering if he's gonna get up he does, then the second time his foot got caught on the bumber and he got dragged, and the third time he got up and usually stunt actors and actresses they can have like a broken bone and still say they're all good and ask if they need to do it again but this time he got up and said he was done.

Going back to The Boys, Jensen tells the story about how there's a scene where he picks up Karl Urban's character Butcher, throws him over his head and slams him into a desk, obviously this was done with a stunt guy who was wired up cause Jensen's supposed to be super strong flinging this dude over his body with one arm. So at the appex which is when he's right above Jensen's head, they let the wires lose and Jensen actually slammed him as hard as he could into the desk, they’re not slowing the guy down and the first time he did it Jensen was surprised and was like "omg are you okay???" The dude popped back up, said he was fine, to do it again to which Jensen was like ' I don't wanna' but they did and once Jensen got used to it he felt like a beast. x

What's the stupidest injury they’ve ever got on any set? Jared asks, "how much time you got?"

Jensen says they both have a list of these but the first that comes to mind he thinks it was Wendigo, when he was pulling the gun out of the back of the Impala- Jared corrects him this injury actually happened during Hook Man. Basically, he was grabbing a riffle and he pulled it from the center of the gun and the butt of it got caught on the edge of the trunk and the barrel came up and hit him on the eye, and split him open. He says it was pretty stupid and self inflected too so he has no one to blame but himself.

Jared tells the story of how when they filmed the scene where Leviathan!Sam and Dean rob the bank, they’re supposed to fire off some rounds to get everyone’s attention but his gun was too high so it was out of frame and couldn't be seen so he was asked to keep it lower so he did thing is this is a gun he had never shot before- Jensen says that if it had been a normal gun Jared would have been fine but that this one was a weird russian fully automatic machine gun. Anyways, they do the next take with Jared holding it lower and as he starts firing, something is hurting, he can immediately feel something is wrong so he stops and says he thinks he has to do something different and he looks over at Jensen who's kinda looking at him- Jared had managed to burn himself with the hot brass casings as they were ejecting so he had a bunch of ash burn marks, some of which were bleeding from the impact, across his face. Jared also mentions that it was happening so fast that if it had been a bit lower it would have gone right into his eyeball. Let's all be thankful that did not happen! But also, Jared, how are you going to say y'alls stunts weren't dangerous and then tell stories like this.

Also, right before he tells this story he tells Jensen that he's going to know right away where he's going with this and he's right because the moment he says Leviathan!Sam and Dean in the bank Jensen laughs and says this is one of his favorite Jared bonehead moves, and when Jared is telling the story Jensen says that what he loves is that Jared kept going even though he was being hit in the face. x

If they were to attend a con to meet people who would their dream guests to meet be? Jared says this question is similar to the question of if you could have dinner with somebody who would it be, and his initial response to that is are they going to be honest like if he met Obama or some other world leader would they tell him the truth or would they give him canned answers. He thinks he would probably go mostly to musicians, like Eddie Vedder, he thinks actors bore him cause he is one. He finds himself boring so he feels like the soundtrack of his life is what he would go to; Jensen agrees, he goes with musicians as well even though they don’t really do cons that's more an actor thing to do that being said he thinks Keanu Reeves is an interesting guy. He’s trying to think of who he would want to listen to answer questions and speak about things involved in the industry, he wouldn't mind listening to some of the Marvel cast like RDJ strictly for curiosity purposes not like 'omg Iron Man!' but because he thinks RDJ is an interesting fellow who as a lot of interesting things to say about topics he could related to so he would do it more out of curiosity. x

Would they talk about their tattoos?

Jensen says he hasn’t gotten anything new in a while the latest was a little thumb one he got with JDM. Basically they were at a friends (he doesn't mention her by name but Sophia Bush) wedding in Oklahoma and D and Hil were doing something with the bride which meant they had the afternoon free so naturally as one does with JDM you go for beer and tattoos. Jensen says Jared has gotten a few more than he has recently.

Jared replies there’s a few on the list he hasn’t gotten yet, but he has the basquiat crown with JDM and Jensen which they got at JDM's wedding, the day after spn finished he got one with his friend Bruce which is like a geometric design that when asked about what it is he jokes it’s an iphone update it didn't actually have a meaning it's just a random design that he liked how it looked, a star on his bicep, a "come and take it" kind of thing which he says is really cool because he thinks a month later after he got it come and take it become a women’s right thing in Texas, and he also has an homage to Dr. Seuss story Oh, the Places You'll Go! with a T for Tom, A for Austin which is Shep's name and a little moon for Odette.

They ask if the fan has any tattoos, she does, she has an AKF one and also one for the band A-ha who sing Take On Me and Jared comments he and Jensen have both tried and failed to do the high note from that song. I would love to have seen that. x

If they were to go to comic con and dress up, what would they dress up as? Jensen says his go to would be Red Hood and Batman since he already has those costumes, but the fan says besides those and as he's thinking Jared says Bullwinkle 😂 And Jensen laughs and says, yeah, Rocky and Bullwinkle. I would pay money to see them dress up as Rocky and Bullwinkle 🤣

Jared also says Boba fett, he’d like something with a mask cause he’d like the experience of being around people who are passionate about stuff and not have it be flavored by like "aren’t you that guy who was on Gilmore Girls?” Jensen says he'd go as the screen character cause that just seems very comfortable.  x

What has made them remain best friends for so long? The boys joke, Jared saying it's been way too long and Jensen saying that for the most part it’s been contractual 😂

Jared says it's never been bullshit. Since day one they’ve gotten along and the why? Who knows. They have a similar up bringing and background and likes and dislikes and he thinks primarily it's that they got to see each other during their highs and lows. They went through a lot, 15yrs is kindergarten through college and he saw Jensen and what he was going through more than any other human being on the planet and vice versa Jensen saw Jared and what he was going through, his good times, his bad times, everything in between and so you kind of get to really know the soul of somebody not just who they are at their best. You go to a set anywhere you'll probably enjoy most of the people for the first couple of hours, then they get tired or they've had a bad day and they're an asshole or a jerk but he thinks for them it was just like 'hey, you all right?' That it's like they've known each other since birth even though they've actually known each other less than 20yrs. They kind of had a fastforwarded into the fire and they had each other's back and he guesses that's why, that he wishes he knew. Jared, my darling, you just described soulmates! That person who from the moment you meet you feel like you've known them your whole life with whom you have a connection and a bond that you can't explain- that's your soulmate! 🥹

Jensen thinks there's also that SPN is the biggest thing that has happened to their careers so far, and arguably it's one of the biggest things that has happened to their lives, it's certainly changed both their lives from pre-SPN to now and to have another person understand the multitude of levels on how that changed your life to the degree in which he and Jared know each other he thinks it kind of bonds you in a way that's really indescribable. Nobody understands what his life has been like for the past almost 2 decades more than Jared does because he was pretty much right next to him the whole time and he was also going through the same stuff both personally and professionally that Jensen was going through and that really bonds people in a way that's really indescribable. And that it's a good thing they got along and that they laugh at the same jokes, and like the same music, and cheer for the same sports teams that there's just a lot in common thankfully so when they were put in that situation where they were gonna be side by side for as long as they were it was really easy and enjoyable.

Jared also comments that he thinks in general, not just with working relationships or friendships, but with romantic relationships as well or family relationships he thinks it's extremely important to be able to tell somebody when something hurt you or bothered you, and vice versa to listen when someone goes like 'hey, this happened and it felt off base or it didn't feel cool' and for that person to listen cause if you're really good friends with anybody or are close with anybody you'll have disagreeements and you'll go 'well, here's where I'm coming from, help me to understand where you're coming from' and you'll listen and be like 'got it, let's move forward. ' So it's important just with anybody that you care about to shoot straight. x

A big part of acting is dealing with rejection how do they both deal with keeping motivation in trying to act when getting rejected? Jared says this reminds him of a story of when he was still on Gilmore Girls.

He was auditioning like half a dozen times a week for other projects, and he had bought a house in the valley in LA, and a friend of his then girlfriend came over for like a housewarming party and he was showing her around and by his bed in his bedroom he had a stack of 12 or 15 scripts all stuff he was reading and hoping to get an audition for, and she looked over and asked if those were all the auditions he'd been on, Jared kind of laughed and told her to follow him and walked her over to the garage where he had cardboard boxes full of scripts. He had 300 to 400 scripts of auditions he had been on in the past 3 to 4 years.

He thinks the way he deal with rejection now is to treat auditions or meetings as maybe it’s my performance, maybe this is my chance to play this character and also now that he and Jensen have been on the producing side he realizes how silly casting sometimes gets, there can be 5 people who do an amazing job but they're going to be acting with a brunette and they don't want them to look to similar so they decide to go with a blonde or vice versa, or someone is 5'11 and that's too tall to play a 14 year old because they'll be acting with someone whose 5'3 so it comes down to random things. And that's helped a little bit, seeing the vagaries of casting and subtle nuances that don't even really make sense so he tries to go 'all right, I do my best and if that's the last time I get to play the character then so be it'. (sidenote: Jared pulling out the fancy words, first time in my life hearing the word vagaries)

Jensen says he thinks as one gets older your way of dealing with rejection changes. He and Jared have had really great succes so far in their lives and in their career so when there's rejection now he thinks they can both stand firm on the fact that they've been validated by a multitude of people and their career reflects that so that if somebody says 'no, we don't want you for that role' or 'no, we don't like that idea for a show that you're pitching' they'd be like okay, maybe it's not the right time, maybe they just don't see that vision, maybe they're looking for something else- at this point he quips that maybe they want somebody that's not so oddly tall and Jared quips back or oddly bowlegged 😆 But also that as Jared said knowing what they know about being on the other side of it has really kind of drawn the curtain back and see how a lot of times how ridiculous this process can be in getting to that final stage. So, he thinks they deal with it a little differently now. That early on, when they didn't have that affirmation to kind of rely on it was just thick skin, you had to develop thick skin, somebody says you're not good enough you had to know in your heart that you were good enough and that person just didn't see it. x

Last question, what does Dean mean to Jared and what does Sam mean to Jensen? Jared starts to answer that now, after a couple of years of spn being over cause it's been around two and a half years since they finished filming and I guess the fan thought Jared was throwing an indirect about asking this question after spn has been over for a while so they say it's because this question was prepared a long time ago, and Jared has to clarify that's not what he meant- it was actually a little funny, the fan didn't say it in a rude way or anything like that more like a clarification.

But anyways, Jared says he has more hindsight now and that he'd rather answer this question now than 2 or 3 years ago so where he stands now it's difficult for him to try and differentiate what Dean meant and what Jensen meant all he can say is that he learned a lot from both and a lot of the reason he's the man that he is and the actor he is is because he spent 15yrs looking at Jensen and then they're calling action and he was looking at Dean so it's hard to kind of really parse out exactly what he got- says he got his dad voice from Dean to which Jensen says that so has he, Jared continues saying he learned every step of the way and he thinks it was really exciting. That a lot of what he really liked about Dean was his keep going attitude and that's very similar to Jensen kind of like 'yeah, this sucks but we gotta get through it' or 'all right, we're tired it's 16hrs, it's 4am, it's raining or freezing in Vand and we have to do a fight scene but all right it ain't gonna do itself let's go do it' so that kind of evoked something in him.

Jensen concurs that it's the same for him but also that he knows Sam is a part of Jared, that Sam resides in Jared's personality so getting to see as many times as he did Jared bring that element of himself forward and then take on the embodiment of Sam was like getting to see a specific micro aspect of Jared and how he can mold that and play with that and tell the story using that and he's always thought that he was very gifted in doing so and now he's doing it with another character. He thinks he and Jared, because they weren't classically trained as actors and didn't have any formal training to speak of at all they had to learn to use what they knew and that's essentially themselves, Dean is certainly a part of his personality that is exaggerated, Sam is also a part of Jared's personality that is exaggerated so they got to play this kind of exagerated versions of themselves with each other and then they'd yell cut and they'd go back to being themselves so he really feels it's just part of the package that he got with Jared and he'll forever be grateful for that and he looks forward to the next time he gets to see him morph into Sam. I know that Draxum is an asshole here, BUT please tell me a couple of cute moments between him and Leo?

The thing about Draxum in this AU is that he IS an asshole, he is very strict and when it comes to raising One he had spent 13 years dancing over the line of abusive parent

He will deny being One's parent (One would deny being his child too), so he might not be his dad legally or emotionally but he is his dad like... spiritually, I guess.

You don't get to raise a child, being his caretaker and his boss without accidentally filling the spot of "father figure"

I want to do a little doodle sheet of just Draxum raising One, but I haven't got the time so here are some of the scenarios I want to draw plus other things I have thought about but are not gonna be able to fit in the story in an organic way:

One learned to call Draxum "boss" bc he heard Huggin and Munnin calling him boss

At first he could just say "bo"

One has been a very talkative child since the beginning, and a very curious one, he would keep pointing at things and making noises until Draxum told him what that thing was.

He had a very long "why" phase that drove Draxum mad

Since he could walk he turned into a menace, it was easy to confine him into one place when he couldn't, but then he would just walk around and start climbing whatever he saw. Draxum lost him many times around the lab

Sometimes Draxum would be working or just chilling and he would hear a thud on the distance and sigh deeply, knowing One was climbing something and fell

One always had at least one bandaid on him because of this

He was going to tell him his human DNA came from Lou Jitsu but decided to first show him an old recording of Lou fighting on the Nexus arena so One could know what Draxum expected from him

One quickly became obssesed with Lou and Draxum decided against telling him the whole truth, thinking he would just become more annoyingly obsessed with the human if he did

Some days latter Draxum found One was still watching the video on loop, turns out the kid was memorizing the moves, he shows Draxum and fails to nail a very simple kick, Draxum doesn't give him any pointers of how to fix his form, just curious to see how far he can go without help

A week latter One surprises Draxum with the fact that he alreay learnt how to do it on his own. He is very impressed with the boy and agrees to his pleas of leting him learn martial arts

Draxum signs him in to a dojo on the hidden city. He doesn't last too long and gets kicked out for "being too agressive"

Draxum doesn't show it but thinks that's hilarious

After being kicked out of other two dojos he decides to train him himself while he grows a little older and he can sign him into a dojo for grown ups.

As a kid One insisted in being though how to manipulate vines like Draxum, he doesn't think the kid can learn to do it but teaches him just so One stops insisting.

It takes him a long while but he learns to do it. Draxum seems genuinly happy while teaching him.

He also enjoys his weekly sparing matches with One.

Draxum gave him his scarf as a gift

One's old uniform was almost completely black, just with some golden details to match him, One kept insisting he should be wearing blue since it is his favorite color. when he outgrown it and Draxum send to make a new one he gave in and let him had his blue accents.

NSR Headcannons

Eve: Around two months after the events of the game, she changed her coat out for a new one, representing herself and her desires, rather than her singleminded focus on Zuke. It's even bigger now XD.

Tatiana: Mother figure, will absolutely just hold your back to her front, using her warmth to comfort you. Anyone who sits with her long enough falls asleep.

Zuke: I imagine the fire incident would have left small scars, due to it being treated quickly and extinguised quickly. He uses make-up to hide them, because looking at them makes him uncomfortable.

Mayday: Shes the most devious tickle monster, whenever she gets the chance she squeezes someones side, making sure nobody else notices. Zuke is the main recipiant of these.

D. J. Subatomic Supernova learns hypnosis from Eve, and helps the rest of the cast with their anxiety issues. He does lighter, calmer, or goofier hypnosis with the cast of 1010.

Sayu's bloopers are extremely popular, because the actors behind her stay in character, like the muppets bloopers. Mayday doesn't have them memorized, but Zuke does.

1010 really like teasing Zuke, calling him cute, adorable, little boy, little Zuke, Zukey, and patting his head. He ends up really liking it, telling them in private to keep doing it.

Eve, after learning to appreciate Mayday, starts by wrapping blankets around her, but that slowly turns into pinning her in place, then sfw bondage. Mayday definetly enjoys having a space where she doesn't have to think, or act, or speak.

Yinu's mother is named Patricia, her father is named Jack.

Yinu teaches them about tea, and biscuits, and how to properly curtsy/bow, and eventually plays dress up with them, making them look all fancy. Patricia watches on fondly.

Zimelu often shoves people around, or pins them down, or tilts their chin up, showing off his height and strength, as well as his agression. He always makes sure not to hurt them when doing so.

Mayday will brat for tickles, and with Zimelu, he never goes easy on her. He loves using one hand to pin her arms against the wall above her head, enough to lift her a full foot off the ground at that, while using his other hand to tickle her sides until she gives in and apologizes.

Okay, i saw Hazbin Hotel´s first 4 episodes and first impresions so i could compare with my finals when s1 finishes

As you know i am very character driven, so for the plot itself i´ll say is not bad, but for some season the hotel itself feels like a subplot, like the whole extermination day issue seem more important (to the point that the characters themselves mention that) a hotel to redeem sinners is not a bad concept but i feel like the creators themselves are not actually that interested on it. Anyway, despite the lack of focus on the suppusedly main plot, i am curious on what would happen next, so regardless of the problems i can follow and want to. My theory is that the hotel was the idea from the begining but the creator ended up more interested on a show about the lore and had to use "hazbin hotel" by legal reasons

SO character wise:

Charlie: related to above, she doesn't feel like a protagonist, the whole show actually resembles more an ensemble and thats why she is trapped on the hotel plot that, like i already said, is starting to be pushed aside. Now personality wise i am comflicted, , she is cute sometimes, she is also very sympathetic and while i am not completely sold on her due to lack of explaining why she is the way she is; that can easily be brushed off that there will be soon an episode that explains it. My issue is that sometimes i think they are trying too hard with the all loving hero archetype, to the point she may come as one note. I´ll give the benefit of the doubt because there´s still time to flesh her out and she has flaws so its a character than can easily be worked. I think she worked a little better on the pilot, its hard to put my finger why.

Vaggie: I am WAY less optimistic with Vaggie. Actually, the complete opposite. Let me explain:

The sister series: Helluva Boss has a problem with Mille (and this are things i thought before watching the sarcastic chorus episode) cause while she is not completely there, she walks dangerously close to satellite love interest territory, all she did was directly related to Moxxie and she didn't have an episode of her own even if they were visiting her family. There was a very late episode in Helluva Boss that was a direct response to this critism and tried to focus on Millie (tried because Moxxie also took tons of screentime) they are aware of the problem.

The thing is that , i have a theory that they wanted to go one step ahead of the audience with Vaggie. Is like they saw Vaggie would face the same critism as Millie and made an episode to get ahead. The problem is that, first: the third episode! you are trying to solve a problem that hasn't started. Like: instead of planning on giving Vaggie something future seasons or expanding her character between episodes they just said "there, she feels insecure because she feels she is nothing without Charlie" which is paradox, because to me it tells me the writer don't intent to make her anything without Charlie and this episode is a scapegoat. Don't know if i am explaining myself. The point is that to me the episode is a sign that there is no point in trying to invest emotionally in Vaggie because the writers will never do it.

Like Charlie, she was better on the pilot but with her i can tell it´s because on the pilot she was funnier, not by a lot but still something. I have the feeling the writers toned down her agressiveness on the show because of the "spicy latina" stereotype and while i believe the critism is valid, i don't think the solution was to just water her down.

Angel Dust: I am not sure if i like him. I liked him on the pilot but his whole sex jokes all the freaking time became irritating,specially how much he harrased Husk, i hope that after episode 4 that ends finally. The thing is that those irritating traits they do make sense for him, and he is not a one dimensional character so, lets say that while i don't find him charming or funny, i think he is a good character writting wise and of course i am not unsympathetic to his BS, i am interested in how he will scape Valentino.

Alastor: Its a basic as heck opinion say that Alastor is carrying the show but...Alastor is carrying the show. Of course this was deliberate, he is clearly crafted to be the most entertaining and fan favorite character and its doing his work, specially cause he is so ambiguous that his true motivations are one of the things that hook people incluiding me.

The other ones are simple , Husk is good and i totlly adore Nifty (specially the show version when they decided to level up her psycho self)

Fuck, I don't even know where to start with it really, it hasn't festered in my brain long enough to accumulate the agressive love that I have for things like the M(arkiplier)CU and Eddsworld, but truly it's getting there

It's one of those shows I went into thinking "I'm gonna watch this so I know what's happening in Fionna and Cake :3" and came out of it actually crying over the finale that shit was so good

The show was NOT a kids show and I don't at all regret waiting until now that I'm an adult to watch it, it handles topics surprisingly very seriously, like the idea of finding out who you are as a person and what it means to be alive in a world we don't actually understand

Watching that show I thought Marceline and Bubblegum was a last minute thing the show runners thought of with how it was framed to me when their kiss happened in the finale, how I was told about it was from people with homophobic values and incel like behavior but at the time I didn't think of it as anything to write home about, I saw it as just another show trying to have last minute queer representation, a rushed "THEY WERE GAY THE WHOLE TIME!" moment

But watching the show, seeing their first interaction together, truly it clicked that it WAS planned from the beginning, the way that PB had explained that yeah ofc she kept Marcy's shirt, it meant a lot to her, the way that up until that point and even way after, they haven't blushed at anyone else - maybe embarassing things, but not something sweet and meaningful like that, only to each other

And when I learned about Finn having a crush on PB it was, again, before I watched the show from people who were young at the time and naive, explaining it as their OTP or "a really cute will they won't they" and watching the show, seeing how it was explicitly said that PB was too old for Finn, how PB never lead him on or even tried to give him the impression she was into him, just Finn being a kid and having a crush cause he likes women and is friends with one, trying to figure out how hormones works as he goes through puberty, it's crazy I love how the show handles relationships

Like Flame Princess and Finn's relationship - WOW, like actually WOW, I vaguely remember watching some episodes of Adventure Time in my youth but nothing substantial, like I watched some from the first few seasons and then I remember hearing and seeing talk of FP and Finn's breakup and the aftermath of it, but not much of it actually happening, and last thing I remember is the "Elemental" arc and being really intruiged by it but never being able to watch it

But the way Finn later properly apologized to FP ? How he feels guilty all the way up until FP forgives Finn for properly apologzing ? That was so rewarding to watch, the writers really care about it's characters, it truly shows

But, I also wanna infodump about what I'd mentioned in my tags of the Markiplier rant, how I made the connection between The Cask of Amontillado and Season 9, Episode 14 of Adventure Time, because I think that was one of my biggest brain moments I've had in a while

I'm too lazy to rewrite it all out though having just written TEN THOUSAND WORDS SO instead I'm just gonna copy and paste what I wrote to my partner about it (who loves the Cask of Amontillado, too :) I really love Poe's work fuckkk)

In the episode beforehand we see Fern (Grass curse version of Finn) struggling with the fact that he, being made from Finn's time loop self preserved in a sword that was then taken over by the curse of Finn's old grass sword, is different than Finn himself

He believes that since he shared all of Finn's memories and is a version of Finn (again, time looped version of Finn from Prismo's plan B shenanigans which if you're confused or curious about I would gladly explain) he is no different than Finn but still feels like he's falling short and losing to Finn, like he's a lesser version of him (having naturally violent tendencies, being in Ooo while Finn was away and failing to protect it from the "Elements" arc, failing to win against Finn in even rock, paper, scissors after a series of draws, etc.)

So he decides he's going to take over Finn's life and become "the only Finn", in his words -which I wanna also talk about because that was dropped at the end of EP 13 (the one before the last episode, 14)

When Fern says "the only Finn", Finn says out loud "uh.. yeah. But that's a weird thing to call me" which shows that Finn truly believes Fern to be a different person than himself, which brings me to a conflict that happened in EP 14 where Finn and Fern are in this dungeon together and Finn stops to bring up his appreciation for Fern and feeling a close bond with him (already thus insinuating that Finn believes him to be separate because why would he bring this up if he thought of Fern as a different version of himself, there would be no reason because their similarities are a given, but I think Finn going to an entirely separate reality (Farmer Finn reality) and seeing a wildly different version of himself made him realize that just because he is Finn, he's not Finn, if that makes any sense)

Finn goes: "Hey, Fern! Wait up! Hey, I just wanna say that, it's really cool that you're in to this stuff, y'know? That we have so much in common! It feels almost like we're real brothers, right? Or.. even closer!" and this causes Fern to pause

Finn is very heavy handed with the whole "found family" thing, equating people he's close to as either his family member or a romantic interest later turned friend but still very close to his heart (as with Jake and now Fern being called his brothers, though Jake more literally as they were raised by the same parents, and BMO and Nepter his and Jake's sons as they both raise them and are wildly different in age or at least implied age, and PB and Flame Princess though those have wildly different things I'm not gonna get into but was handled extremely well)

But Ferm took it less as Finn seeing him as someone detached from him and who just so happens to have the same interests as him in the same way that Jake does to Finn making fun of him for being just another version of Finn and seeing himself as just that

Even MORE fucked up is how they got here in the first place in one of my favorite ways to torture someone mentally: Hiding in plain sight

End of EP 13, when Fern gives the line "the only Finn", we see that he's able to shange his grassy self into Finn's human body, and earlier in the beginning of EP 14 we see Finn talking to Jake, Nepter and BMO, all of the inhabitants of the house who are all talking about going to the market to buy a replacement trumpet for Jake who's trumpets keep mysteriously breaking (BMO is quick to give in to the guilt of this and apologizes for being the destructor of the trumpets before Finn and Nepter pull an "I'm Radio Rebel" on them)

But what we see when they leave is that Finn is actually Fern and has convinced Finn that he's able to "shapeshift" as a new ability, and shape shifted as Finn specifically to play a prank on the others. Come to find out when Fern and Finn are dungeoning, Fern plans to leave Finn in that dungeon room in the most beautiful interpretation of Cask of Amontillado I've EVER seen

Let me elaborate

In the Cask of Amontillado we see Montressor literally lead Fortunado to his death and even show it to him and TELL him about it Sure he tricked him into going along with it, but Fortunado is still confused as to why Montressor would be blocking him inside his own tomb despite having willing walked into it after repeatedly being shown Montressor's hand, his cards, his knife, whatever you wanna call Montressor practically showing him the weapon he was going to murder him with

And in EP 14 it's driven home FURTHER by the fact that Fern LITERALLY WALLS FINN'S ONLY EXIT OFF WITH STONE AFTER FINN WILLINGLY WALKED IN UNDER THE GUISE OF IT BEING A TREASURE ROOM

Fuck's sake the parallels are INSANE, I high recommend watching the on screen play of Cask of Amontillado and then EP 14 of Adventure Time because the parallels are incredibly similar Like to the point where Fern pushes out a brick in the same fashion that Montressor left out a brick to talk to Fortunado one last time before resealing the hole up and walking away from the cask

If that's really confusing, I had to explain to them AT lore because they don't watch it and also I didn't reread it when I was writing it, I wrote it in a frenzy cause that's genuinely one of my favorite episodes now so sorry for any spelling mistakes

Also I'm literally obsessed with Fionna and Cake's intro, I don't know why but THAT SCRATCHES THE BRAIN SO GOOOOOD FUCKK

I watched the DJJ Photoshoot for their Christmas content today and I noticed some things that I wanna share!

As a Jaedo shipper I enjoy all crumbs and meals we are provided but DJJ always feels weird for me. Usually it's hard to notice them in their large group but now it's pretty obvious that there's something between them. Especially Doyoung who acts awkward and purposely distances himself from Jaehyun (its so cute and funny) and sometimes Jaehyun controls(?) himself too, but he slips easily.

Compared to with Jungwoo, Doyoung was comfortable being touchy and tease him openly. With Jaehyun he's always silent gazes and secret touches that only shippers notice. In DJJ, this gets more obvious and while I enjoy more Jaedo content I can't help but worry if they actually debut in a musical unit.

It's no doubt that sales wise this combo will do well. But idk, it's just a feeling that I have. That DJJ will end up being awkward. I've read your DJJ entries and have been analysing them myself, also very curious on what do you think about their chemistry? And do you notice the evident awkwardness?

Yes, Doyoung is awkward and Jaehyun remembers to keep his hands to himself from time to time.

Some fans try to explain it with JaeDo being pressured by shippers. Which is rather silly.

Jaemin/Jeno is a super popular ship as well. However, nothing stops them from being touchy or from doing fanservice on stage.

Seeing how SM releases content with JaeDo in bl scenarios this year, Doyoung acting awkwardly and pretending is more of a habit than necessity now.

The unit will feel awkward in all directions.

Doyoung will be too bend over showing off how close Sabujaks are (Woo looks tired of those fake head kisses sometimes), Jaehyun will be tense around Jungwoo in a fanservice-flirting mode, Jungwoo will be third-wheeling. Doyoung will be very focused on making the unit work (and thus overthinking things), Jungwoo will be lost in a new environment (he needs a script), he'll probably feel that he will need to be funny (but he will need new jokes for this new environment).

I wouldn't worry though. Majority of fans see only what they want to see. JaeWoo are always awkward, yet they have die-hard, even agressive, shippers who think they are super lovey-dovey.

DJJ won't have members who aren't willing or uncomfortable working with each other. Awkwardness isn't animosity/tension, it can be fun to observe. The three will be chaotic and fine. Jaehyun will be so smiley, nctzens would wonder what happened to him, heh.

Watching Once Upon A Witchlight episode 40!! (SPOILERS AHEAD)

Twig asked the big question of “when the quest is done, are you all going to go back home?" That my self insert dreads the answer to only to be met with a " yeah, but we'd be able to come back through the mirrors” which I'm VERY happy about because that's my self inserts main worry is that their new found family would leave and never come back and they'd be alone again
