I've dealt with some real weirdos and especially in the NSFW spaces I've been, people lose a lot of common sense with strangers, but especially when they're horny, or think being in sexual spaces (or other places that are less formal and more open about some things) makes your boundaries nonexistent. People can hardly act normal asking for @ s of accounts for that kind of thing, but y'know it also applies to SFW spaces as well sometimes because the average attitude in some spaces are super goddamn weird and either culty or reinforcing parasocial shit... or just really entitled, need it be access to the creators of something, or towards just other people in the circle making stuff

Remember, if some rando is thinks they're entitled to your art/writing/edits/mods/whatever you post because they like it and act like you're a cold selfish bitch who is suddenly bad at being in [whatever hobby/creative job industry you do if you do that] for having boundaries, rejecting a commission/work from them, sometimes even just telling them requests aren't open, or they violate rules you have established are needed to follow you wherever (such as age), you're allowed to give them the boot because they're annoying, wrong, and are more often then not holding a one way ticket to parasocial town and you do not want that near you.

You owe them nothing, if negative behavior like that towards you is brought on/worsened by their mental health issues/disabilities/so on, it's still not your damn job or obligation to keep them around or help them manage even if you're understanding of it because they aren't your friend or kid. That's an explanation, not excuse or get out of jail free, block em.

the really beautiful landscape/skyscape animation in makoto shinkai's works tends to be the big thing i see focused on and that is understandable and deserved like the weather and lighting effects are unREAL but i do think we should also appreciate how absolute insane the plotlines of his original movies get. at least two movies with in universe catastrophes with major ecological implications. the guns and explosions. theres that one movie i havent seen yet with the guy who turns into a chair (?)

one thing that must be said about coriolanus and katniss is that they both share such a snarky inner voice that despite the seriousness of thg saga (especially mockingjay - the last chapters almost reduced me to tears, it was that heavy) it made me chuckle more than a few times

The teens are alright, or at least the ones i know. They're really good people, and they're really taking their life more by the horns than i did and I'm really proud of them. They're doing so much and knowing so many people!!! Theyre so much more confident in what behaviour they're tolerating from others than i was at the time, and so much more confident in their identity. They're really great kids. And they don't hate me, which is so incredibly healing for me as someone's who made basically only bad experiences with teens at the time that i was one. Like they don't reject me just for existing. I think they will have a great life, and I can't overstate the impact of being a teen confident in your identity and knowing who you are.

I'm beginning to realize being in a competition not only means easy access, but propaganda. So I gotta.. actually advertise my AU, so that's what this is.

I'm in the non-rise-tmnt-au-competition, and my au is a 2012 au titled 'Uncle Shredder', and.. it's pretty cut and dry.

In this au, which was made as a joke, Shredder randomly got the turtles shoved on him by Yoshi, who decided he didn't want to raise children alone and wanted assistance.

So, bop boom pow, Shredder is now wrangling Yoshi's kids and trying to still be an evil Mob Boss.

He works with the Kraang, and still sends his soldiers after the turtles, but he can't really show that they're the foot because being this close to Yoshi is an advantage he isn't ruining it.

The main villain is actually, haha get this, Bishop, who exists now past a human suit, who's the human guy that works with the Kraang and most villains stem from there instead.

So I'm having a field day actually fleshing out some OC villains of mine because of course I am.

Anyway, he does genuinely care for the turtles, though he'd never probably admit it, and they are closer to him than Yoshi actually. (They don't go to Splinter out of shame and they actually have another adult to go to so yay)

But Shredder is still.. an evil guy. So he does still attempt to kill the turtles, at least reluctantly anyways. And never physically himself.

It's a classic bad guy tries to be bad but fails and gains a family but with surprise angst.

I'm still building up the Au, so there isn't much about it, but the turtles do gain powers further down the seasons so that's new, cool, interesting, and totally not done a thousand times before.

i'd like to state, that i for one, find people's habit of seeing two underage boys and shipping them instantly to be very fucking gross. even worse when they're real kids, like back the fuck up, buckaroo.

i'm not sure how having the instant reaction of wanting to see two children kiss isn't disturbing to anyone else

doesn't even have to be two boys, it's a freakshow no matter what. that's just what i see most often.
