she stares up at the night sky
seeing something new
she stares a moment
then two,
wondering what it could be,
it is a strange color
for a being in the sky.
a child points and wonders
and she spins a tale
how perhaps it is a piece of home
kicked up by the buffalo herds,
the child shudders at the painting
and curls up against her side
safe and warm
she stares up at the night sky
until she succumbs to sleep,
it is gone in the morning.
i stared up at the night sky
barely seeing what i knew was there
i stared for a while,
until my hands went numb
wondering what she might have thought
about the being passing by.
tears began to fall,
the world feeling a little bit smaller
a little less alone,
i was joined by ghosts
illuminated by moonlight
from just a few days
three thousand grandmothers ago
watching along with me
staring up at the same
strange green star
in the same dark sky

i personally dont think louis was hallucinating lestat in dubai like he was in paris. i think the storytelling is just bleeding into the present because the memories are becoming so vivid for him its like theyre actually happening in front of him.
the moment lestat gets interrupted by rashid in dubai we cut to the paris trial and lestat is also looking off somewhere, to whoever interrputed him.

Any ideas or theories as to how Dr. Den knows who Great is, enough to be able to recognise him, in the original timeline? Tyme only ever talked about Great to Den in regards to the 4 Minutes thing but that happened in Great's mind, so how would Den know to call Tyme when Great got shot, and how did Den recognise Great, as the only time Den saw Great was when he dropped Tyme off at the hospital after their little getaway. 🤔
So Den has actually seen Great & talked to Great before, when Great was looking for Tyme in episode 4, after Tyme stabbed his brother in the neck
which is what he said to Tyme when Den called Tyme later in episode 5 when he saw Great being wheeled in
But then Tyme from episode 5 is from somebody's 4MP timeline, weither it's Great's or Tyme's or both idk (I'm rooting for it to be both), but we know it's from a 4MP timeline because Tyme has no bruises on his face because he never got beat up by Great's dad's men in episode 4 because him and Great fought back together and won
But in the real timeline, he is be covered with bruises because he got beat up by Great's dad's men the night before and didn't treat the wounds in episode 6, and got to the OR with a bruised face in episode 7 after Den's phone call
But the thing is, that scene of Tyme stabbing Great's brother, and Great seeing his face is still real in episode 6 (we know it's real since episode 4 btw, because Korn had the bandage on with Tonkla but let's not confuse ourselves more than necessary)
and Great did still go look for Tyme afterwards in episode 6 (and the Nan part of their convo afterwards is real too, because that's why great then followed his brother, saw Nan get killed and stopped the men from killing Tyme after beating Tyme up but again let's not confuse ourselves more)
So that first scene where Great and Den had a conversation about Tyme being in the OR in episode 4 is real and from the real timeline, so Den recognized Great in the progression of the real timeline in episode 7, and that makes the phone call Den made real even if we saw a Tyme from a 4MP timeline answer it
And I wanna add that it makes sense that with Den's character that he recognized Great, Den is an extremely humane doctor, a family doctor, he cares about the patients names, wants and wellbeing, he wants what is best for them and he is constantly nagging Tyme about not caring about any of that, and he is Tyme's only real friend and he cares about him, so he would notice someone new being around Tyme, as Tyme ain't that easily likeable, and he would immediately want to watch out for that person like he does for Tyme
hope all of that made sense lol
