induced to me by my contemporary art exam AND a rewatch of rebels after years that. got me into sabezra unexpectedly AND i updated krita and there were many new brushes i wanted to try

anyway they look amazing

i really wanted to try greyscaling but I'm not sure it looks good. idk. + while i was making it i was listening to i love you by fontaines d.c. (GREAT SONG FROM A GREAT UNDERRATED BAND) and. the grey fit into that mood much better

also two versions without the sketch lines. where ezra looks happier even if they're uglier

#i didn't expect to like them as a ship ngl. but there are some moments that recall kanera (AND I LOVE THEM) especially if you've read #a new dawn. and IDK COOL!! probably i didn't ship them from the start because. in s1-s2 they're just kids and everytime i reach s3 i keep #brainrotting on thrawn <3 and kallus <3 and zeb <3 idk i kinda forgot about them and all the scenes they were in LMAO #ALSO. i love you is truly a wonderful song wtf?? it's not something I'd associate to sabezra BUT probably after having listened to it for a #month. and having drawn this in the meantime. i found some connections. the fact that the songs alternated between that melodic part #that talks about love to the other verses about (very generally) society. just felt like how their relationship would go. rapidly switching #between the fast paced fights for the rebellion to the calm of the preparation they require that can allow them for some tenderness. ALSO #ezra is so much “if there was sunshine it was never on me / so close the rain; so pronounced is the pain”#and sabine is pretty much “you only open the window; never open up the door” sometimes. especially before her darksaber arc #btw i know this song is about ireland and their relationship with theid country BUT it just prompted me to their grey figures #and colorful background. also. there's something about klimt making some of the most tender representations of love ever imo BUT keep #choosing to represent rather dark iconographies whenever he's asked to do something (I'm thinking about the medicine panels for the uni)#like. there is a similar contrast in there as well. also i like that. ursa had a portrait of herself in her home that referenced klimt #like. it's ursa in her prime; in a literal golden age. i can imagine sabine associating a good moment - one of her bests - to such an #expressive decoration. and maybe stripping colors away when that moment is gone and all that remains is the memory and feeling #OKAY WHY DID I TALK SO MUCH i must've put more thought on this that i previously thought. crazy #it started as a fun experiment to try krita's oil brushes. *in david byrne's voice* how did i get here?#star wars #sw #star wars rebels #star wars fanart #star wars rebels fanart #ezra bridger #sabine wren #ezrabine #sabezra #sabine wren fanart #ezra bridger fanart #sw fanart #g posting

Imo, Tim's interest in Smirke is more of a trauma thing than him actually liking his work. Even the wiki goes on to say Tim is a "fan" but like

He says this in 104 and it is essentially saying that Tim got into Smirke AFTER the event. Tim looked into a lot of things after Danny because he wanted to know as much as possible about it and, in my opinion, it clearly comes out of a place of being traumatized

What it reminds me most of, though, is a scene in "Nope". For anyone who hasn't seen it (you should it's great I love it), this guy, Ricky Park, was on a TV show that had a chimp as part of the cast. After a loud noise goes off, the chimp goes insane and ends up killing a bunch of the cast members. Park ends up hiding under a table and right before the police arrive at the scene, he and Gordy (the chimp) touch hands before Gordy is killed. (The scene. Trigger warning for blood and a bit of gore)

When we see Park years later, he has a collection of memorabilia from the show and viewers realize that his fascination with the event comes from a place of trauma.

Tim's situation is similar, I think, with Smirke only being a component of his overall interest in this event that ruined his life.

So yeah, I don't think Tim is genuinely interested in the architecture, I think he is just traumatized and trying to figure out the whole fears thing ✌️ I think the reason we see him act so light-hearted about it is because well, it's Tim, and he is huge on masking/avoiding his issues

I decided to read the Animorphs because hey, I love body horror and complicated endings, and they're all free online!

Mistake!!! There are 50-something of these fuckers and I cannot stop reading a thing til it's done! I'm fucked!

At a risk of sounding like a cliché fangirl, I'm just going to go right ahead and say the Duffer bros killed off Eddie Munson too soon. It was a mistake, okay. A MISTAKE. I wish he would have stayed for season 5. 💔

They could still bring him back though, if they wanted. I mean, Hopper was presumed DISINTEGRADED before season 4 when they showed how he managed to survive. I don't know, explain his survival with some upside down shenanigans or whatever lol. Retcon it. The way Hopper surviving feels like a retcon of his death to me. lol

alright, but one of blamore's hobbies is sculpture-making and so he HAS made numerous smaller ones over the years, but the one he's making right now is this statue of artemis (whom is the greek goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, and wild animals which is EXACTLY why it chose to make a sculpture representing her) is something it aims to be a little bit shorter than himself — so i guess you could say it is sort of a big project?¿ yeah LMAO and if blamore isn't gardening, then it'll usually be working on it.

now, so far, he's only got the bust done all the way to the shoulders as of now + it's mixed media so it's made mostly of wood, BUT it's also got some other elements like wire and some random things that you might not normally think of mixing into a sculpture in it. though man's doesn't just show anyone his progress on it because he usually wants thing's to be 'done' before he does... and that is to say that, if it does happen to show this sculpture to you, then you are officially one of its friends (':

I like to think both Rai and Kaeya ride a motorbike in a modern au,, with Rai often showing up to pick up Kaeya and they take a drive down the city while it's night,, and Kaeya's holding onto Rai's waist, whizzing past the city lights and neon signs with music playing in the background as he rests his head on his partner's shoulder

and sometimes, they do exactly that in a scifi fantasy au, but they're driving into the cosmos and all they can see are the stars while they dodge asteroids and race with comets,,and maybe they're disrupting enemy ships and causing fights with the captains before zooming away
