List of sh characters and the lyric/song u associate with them when 👀👀 /lighthearted
Oh anon I LOVE YOU for asking this let’s fucking go
I will start by saying that their general sound and lyrics just remind me of the entire series because they have this warm, fun but nostalgic magical feeling to them but here are SOME more specific songs and lyrics by OMAM that remind me of Sep heap:
1. From Finner just makes me think of the time Nicko, sep and jenna spent in Aunt Zelda Cottage’s in Magyk :’)) Like I can see on their way in and our of the marshes and running around and exploring and playing with the boggart and chatting with Marcia to these lyrics:
"We came here on his back
And we caught your eye
The salty ocean wind
Made the seagulls cry
The rocking of his house
Had me holding on
But I knew that I was safe
From there on out"
(...)
"And we are far from home
But we're so happy
Far from home, all alone
But we're so happy"
2. I feel like Lakehouse should also be in a Magyk playlist! It just...makes sense.
3. I straight up had series of drawing planned based on some lines from Human it would be something like this:
(…) "Cage me like an animal"
[Simon as a prisoner in the Supreme custodian’s rooms. He’s on the floor handcuffed to a pipeline. He is slightly battered and beat and is looking upwards disdainfully] (This could also be Marcia captured in the dungeons but I think Simon’s humiliation has more weight on the story)
"A crown with gems and gold"
[Queen Cerys’ crown on top of the Supreme custodian’s head. It changes abruptly to an image of the same crown on the floor with blood splashed over it.]
"Eat me like a cannibal"
[Stanley trapped in a cage. He’s leaning back with fear in his eyes as the shadow of a man looms over him]
"Chase the neon throne"
[Dom Daniel in front of the wizard tower. He’s looking up and smiling]
4. Six Weeks has Forest Heap and Marwick vibes. I will not elaborate.
5. Your bones just has a lot of Queste vibes, especially when Sep, Jenna and Beetle are on their way to the house of Foryx and Snorri and Nicko are just trying to stay hopeful that they will get back to their time.
6. Wolves Without Teeth is a trauma song imo and it makes me think of Septimus and Marwick having Young army nightmares. LIKE,,,
"You hover like a hummingbird
Haunt me in my sleep
You'll sailing from another world
Sinking in my sea, oh
You're feeding on my energy
I'm letting go of it
She wants it
"And I run from wolves, ooh
Breathing heavily
At my feet
And I run from wolves, ooh
Tearing into me
Without teeth"
7. Sloom is a song for a recovering Simon finding peace within himself and his love in Lucy can I get an amen? Amen.
8. Black Water is for Nicko and Syren. Hello??
"Swallowed by a vicious, vengeful sea
Darker days are raining over me
In the deepest depths I lost myself
I see myself through someone else"
SO...

The Shadow Saint: 5/5
I didn’t love, love, love it like I loved its predecessor (thank you to @an-ace-of-hearts for making me buy it, by the way). It was a little slow to begin with and unfortunately we saw less of the ghouls, which are (despite giving me the creeps) my favourite part of this world, but the latter half was brilliant as usual. It really helped that the last plot twist completely blew my mind, although this book also contributed to a very vivid nightmare so take that as you will.
The Great Gatsby: 5/5
Please explain to me why we do Of Mice and Men for GCSE when we could do this? I mean it has all the things teachers love about OMaM - unlikeable characters, depression, character death, etc. except that the writing is beautiful and it actually has a clear message.
Sharpe’s Sword: 4/5
I just picked this up for a little fun and it delivered. I mean sure it’s the army in the 1800s which means there are some pretty chilling moments which make you very relieved you aren’t living Sharpe’s life but other than that it’s pretty much all in good fun.
The Picture of Dorian Gray: 5/5
So morbid and so, so beautifully written. Again, horrible characters, but lovely prose and there is a pretty solid message that you don’t need to strain your eyes to see. Also, Basil Hallward is my underappreciated cinnamon roll who should not have to suffer.
The Toll: 5/5
As usual, this book was weird, funny and really easy to read, despite it being 600+ pages long. It didn’t end quite how I expected and I’m still beaten up about certain things, but ultimately it was an incredibly satisfying ending (although there was a bit near the end when I was far too stressed out).
All Quiet on the Western Front: 5/5
For some reason, I did not expect the book to be as good as the film, but it’s way better, as I see it. The way the thoughts and landscape are described is just heartbreaking. Again, where is this book in our English course?
The Bell Jar: 5/5
This book was good in a very specific way. It’s terribly depressing and I really wouldn’t recommend reading it unless you’re in a very happy place (unless you don’t want to ruin your happy place in which case keep it away altogether) because this is just so intensely morbid that sometimes it hurts.

Dear Bands,
I don’t care if you have a large fan-base or a small fan-base, if you're heavy or pop.  None of that matters, what matters is that you still look after yourself.  Your music and influence can affect many, many people, and you are always there for your fans.  But even though your fans are there for you there are still some things we want you to know.
You may feel you have to live up to be this perfect, hero-like image but you don’t.  You are still human, you still have emotions, you still get stressed out and down.  Your true fans know you can’t be perfect (even though you actually are in our eyes).
You may face depression, anxiety, fear, addiction; you may face times when you don’t want to make music anymore.  You are still strong though, you give others words of encouragement when you need them yourself.
You will make it through whatever you are going through, even if you have to leave the band, or stop making music.  Your health should come first for you.  You may value your band-mates or fans over yourself but you can’t help them when you need help yourself.
I’m writing this because band members are human too, fans seem to forget this sometimes.  You are imperfect but that’s okay.  You don’t need to be perfect.  I want you to know it’s okay to put yourself about your music, we all understand.  Just keep yourself healthy and fight what you're going through.  Don’t give up.
If you face something physical stopping you from doing what you love it will be okay.  Your fans and band-mates will forgive you and understand. Just make sure not to push yourself past your limits.
Your fans, band-mates, family, and friends love you.  I promise it will be okay.
Love,
One of your fans
P.S. You are loved, never forget that.

Hokaloh News Updated: 8 Perlawanan Paling 'Kotor' Dalam Sejarah Piala Dunia | Berita Hokaloh News
https://hokaloh.news/sukan/8-perlawanan-paling-kotor-dalam-sejarah-piala-dunia-berita-hokaloh-news/
2. England lawan Argentina, Piala Dunia 1966
Jika Pele merasakan nasib malang menimpanya kerana ditimpa kecederaan, dia bernasib baik kerana pemain-pemain England seperti mendiang Sir Geoff Hurst dan Martin Peters pasti bersetuju dengannya.
Ini diakui sendiri pengurus England, Sir Alf Ramsey yang melabel pemain-pemain Argentina binatang kerana satu insiden membabitkan kapten mereka, Antonio Rattin enggan keluar padang selepas dilayangkan kad merah.
Pada perlawanan berkenaan, pemain-pemain Argentina dituduh melakukan taktik kotor seperti meludah dan memulas telinga pemain England.
Rattin kemudiannya dihalau keluar pengadil kerana selalu meleteri pengadil.
3. Itali lawan Argentina, Piala Dunia 1982
Pemain-pemain The Tartan Army turut menuduh pemain Uruguay memijak kaki mereka semasa menarik mereka berdiri semula.
5. Cameroon lawan Argentina, Piala Dunia 1990
Hasilnya, Cameroon mengutip faul sebanyak 30 kali berbanding Argentina sebanyak sembilan kali.
7. Portugal lawan Belanda, Piala Dunia 2006
Semoga memberi manfaat.

Fever Dream Beer
The Fever Dream beer is in stores in Iceland! This raspberry and licorice flavored sour is a collaboration between Borg Brugghús and OMAM, and was first introduced at OMAM’s pop-event at Kex Hostel during Iceland Airwaves in November 2019. Those of us that were there (including three OMAM Army admins) can attest that it’s quite good.

If I am being honest. What we had and what I did has been the base for how I've lived my life since. You are still at The top of every mountain I climb or ever will climb. I now know what love is. If you weren't the halo in the sun I don't know what I would become. I love you and...Im so sorry. I tell people what I did because they deserve to know. I know I don't deserve it. But I'll be damned if I don't get to apologize to you in person. But I don't deserve to even be on this planet anymore. I'm sorry. Every fucking day I think of you. When I wake up. When I go to sleep. As I sleep. While I drink my coffee. Every time I see a rock star. Every time goal hear a papa roach or halestorm or bmth or Omam song. When I shower. When I tell other girls anything at all Its you. Always has been. And I hope I never forget your face. Your voice is a ghost. The last time we played on the grass in front of your house is still fresh in my memory. I can smell your perfume. Your hair. Still I remember what your kisses were like. And how you hugged me when I saw you for thanksgiving. I want you to know I still love you. Because I don't know when I'll die. I joined the army....it feels amazing. I have camp boots at home. I listen to country everyday. And jack makes me happy because it was your favourite. Because it made your tummy warm. I shouldn't have cheated on you. I still hate myself. But thats not hard to live with. The first two years were the hardest. I couldn't sleep didn't eat became a drug addict an alcoholic. I got into college which was cool but I couldn't bare hearing your name everywhere and seeing you and n everything. I stopped gong outside as much as possible after I turned 19. I still have your mix discs you gave me with sleeping with sirens songs on em. They make me happy. I used to hate quellin quins voice CE but now I see your eyes when I here them play. And I still have teal green paint on my red vans shirt from when we painted your room. And I have the camp under armour hoodie. It always smells like you. I hope you are okay darling.
