Sooo , I've been having some difficult times in these past few weeks, it's about anxiety and my art.

I've been very hard on myself about my art and about how much attention they get, i tried to make all of them as perfect as I can draw so they would be seen. whenever I'm posting i feel SO much anxiety about how others are gonna see them, so much that i sometimes get stomachaches..

I've been drawing all day in all days and wanted to be like the artists I like, began studying their art styles in most of my time, but drawing began feeling more like a struggle rather than being fun. So it stopped me from drawing for awhile and it makes me kinda scared to post again

Recently, I was scrolling through in some of my favorite artists blog here in Tumblr (I'm too shy to call them out, but they're popular!) i saw that not all of their art gets lot of attention/likes but they are still the BEST and they got so much fans. The arts that hadn't so much likes were usually the low effort ones and they were about their expressions (like memories, opinions, talks, silly doodles and stuff). It kinda made me think, they seem so confident and they are having fun posting their arts whether it's low effort art or high effort art. I want to be like that

Im going to try reduce my anxiety and not think so much about how my drawings turn out, I'll try to enjoy the process more , like what I used to be like before i began posting online

Alsooo I'll be making some changes to this blog.

I may draw low effort art more often, I'll start rebloging others art here again(i want to show appreciations about how amazing their art are but I'm too scared to make connections with them), I may also post about none art related things (drawing is only 1 of my hobbies, maybe I'll share about things i learn in psychology , it's the degree i chose for collage) sometimes I may post writings or drawing about my personal stuff (like my thoughts, life struggles and stuff), I'll try to be more expressive, im kinda scared but i think it will help me reduce my anxiety and help me be myself. After all this app IS meant for people to have fun in it and i seem to forget that all the times

hi i wanted to draw my own au so have a snippet of scene i rewrote like 12 times and will likely rewrite again

SUPER SHAPED. lots of sharp edges!!! so fun!!!!!#i like to think his hair is usually yknow spiky n compact into its shapes until he gets unhinged to which it slowly becomes disheveled—#and messy and softer. i get what u mean..!! im still trying to understand it too, but im happy to finally have a word that describes the feeling. i cant say for sure what will help u come to terms with your feelings, but i think its good to find people who will listen and take it seriously ^_^

#thank u for sharing your thoughts btw!! youre definitely not alone. a lot of things are starting to make sense for me now lol #i appreciate furry art and i think the community is fascinating but i dont see myself connected to it and i think this is probably why #i think.. there is definitely an overlap between therianthropy and the furry community and thats why they seem to go hand in hand #and im sure there are therians who also identify as furries. but the difference i think is somewhere in the approach #furries are more involved with costumes and characters but with therianthropy its like seeing an animal as part of you innately #like whenever i shake my foot i always somehow imagine it as a dog tail wagging.. and sometimes for a small moment my #mouth feels wider and full of sharp teeth when i yawn. its hard to describe but for me its like an out of body experience #i thought this just meant i have a doglike personality which. isnt wrong but well. i guess it runs a little deeper than that lol #this might also explain why ive been drawing the same dog creature for weeks and couldnt explain why #yapping #therian #art #doodles
