I'm surprisingly chill about The Voice top 9 results airing tonight. I was stressed af last week because it was the first week of audience voting, but Maddi Jane went through easily so I'm fully expecting her to make finals without issue. Like even if she'd bombed her performance last night (she didn't), people have already picked their faves. She's not going to suddenly lose a ton of votes one week to the next.

I dont wanna be mean but I think some people are too stupid to understand basic storytelling concepts like character arcs, flaws and nuance. Like the whole reason I love flint so much is the bait and switch of his character, going in blind you almost feel what the other characters must feel for him; distrust and fear, unsure of what his motivation is. But then you see more, you understand that the situation is a lot more nuanced than that (ily if you know what I'm quoting there lol) and you view his past actions in a new light, not necessarilycondoning them but have a new light shone on them. One episode will not do any of the intricate stories being told justice 🙄

black sails gave all the characters SO MUCH to unpack and it gives it such good rewatch value like im on my fourth go now and still losing my mind. I wont call them stupid but the way some people acting in those notes got me like.....were we watching the same shows. were you paying attention at all. stop making me feel like an exasperated english teacher. god damn.

Playing inscryption and my 3rd playthrough was horrendous rng wise, I was in the last boss and lost. So 4th playthrough I got someone's deathcard called "Kaycee" and well... the rng for the 4th playthrough was CRAZY.

I kept getting the fireplace so I kept putting Kaycee on it, it got to 4 attacks and the thing here is that it has the "Bifurcated" sigil so it can only attack on the sides BUT it does it TWICE. So basically... Kaycee deals a whopping 8 damage per turn. And the rng was so crazy it keeps giving me the card and with the blood cost of 1, I just kept playing it first turn and it keeps killing Leshy in the next turn.

And then... by the last phase of the last boss...

JOSEPHANDRE JUST KILLED THE MOON IN ONE HIT! THERE WAS STILL 28 HP ON THAT MOON!
