I wanted to go on a drawing spree yesterday, but I could only muster these two before dozing off.

First one, even if I'm not that sure about how I drew her face shape in this angle (and most importantly I forgot her neck and torso bandages OOPS) I do really like how most of the drawing came out. And at least it isn't a bland bust this time, though I'm pretty sure I've already drawn a pose like this before. (Oh no the next drawing is a 3/4 bust again..)

Second, yesterday I saw an artist draw some of the coolest redesigns ever for a different media piece, and thought about the many awesome gg redesigns I often see so I wanted to give A.B.A a spin... Except I was out of ideas so most of this drawing is her regular design haha. I got too tired to even try to attempt to draw the rest of the body and half-assed the key but I like the vibes and pose (even if I.. think I made her neck a bit too long? Old habits die hard... Necks are my enemies when drawing!)

I like the idea of her having a key take on the classic frankenstein bolts (though wait, her head key is referred to as a screw. Would this also be a screw or key shaped bolts??-)

#this counts as a pride post because I am very gay for her #her uneven shoulders and stray eyebrow hair (like some d.bz characters <3) have captivated me #anyways sorry for being so wordy in the post... I will be wordier in the tags! sorry. feel free to skip these I'm just gonna ramble #while drawing these I realised I was accidentally doing a shitty a.b.a cosplay: eyebags. hairband. stitches and what Ishiwatari would call #morbid pallor LMAO. I admit I put on the hairband because of her <3 but the rest was unintentional. I hadn't worn one in yrs cause I don't #*didn't like how my hair looks w it plus felt kinda rigid but.. my current hair w a hairband is growing on me? prob not gonna wear it outsid #but thank u a.b.a for making me retry it <3. also the head feeling is kinda cool. though mine is of a hard material n I'm p sur hers is soft #anyways. i miss doing silly diary entries 🥹 so here we goooo!!! 🩷🩷🩷 lately ive grown to love this grey jacket and so i ended up wearing it often over the span of a few days haha. its so cozy and fits the autumn season i think 🦊🍂 last week i visited a friend of mine and we both made things out of pearls, i made a new phone charm while she was making a tiny stitch figurine. he was so tiny and cute!!! i cant wait until next summer, i dont like the new disney movies, but i am looking forward to the lilo and stitch movie! my friends and i already made plans to go and watch it together 🩷🩷🥰 i also bought two frieren manga, completely in japanese!! i havent begun reading them yet, but i flipped through the pages and the artwork is soooo pretty. much prettier in person. i want to buy the other books too, because unfortunately neither volume 1 nor 2 have my favourite scene :( its the scene where himmel puts a ring on frierens finger. also i would like to mention that i cried when i flipped through the first volume ahaha himmels and heiters death always get me 😭

its been getting a lot colder these days so i started to wear my long warm coat and a pair of fluffy earwarmers. and although its not as cold with those items, i end up getting sleepy. both the warmth and the lack of sun make me sooooo verrrrryyyy sleepy 🥹🥹💤 oh and my vegan lifestyle has been going great thus far!!! i keep finding lots of alternatives and yummy products. sometimes i buy vegetarian food accidentally.. i still end up eating it because i dont want to waste the products and my family pretends like anything with a vegan/vegetarian label on it is disgusting :( personally i prefer vegan options, theyre also easier for me to eat because they dont have that greasy and soft texture meat products tend to have.

today in class we had a poem that went like this: 可奈思伊毛乎 / 伊都知由可米等 / 夜麻須氣乃 / 曽我比尓宿思久 / 伊麻之久夜思母 (reading like: かなし妹を / いづち行かめと / 山菅の / そがひに寝しく / 今し悔しも) and my professor made this silly joke about kanasi imo being a sweet potato because kanasi can also mean beloved and imo in this context means girl but it sounds like potato. kanasi imo... sweet potato. i cant stop thinking about it. for anyone curious the poem says something among the lines of, "oh my sweet girl wont leave anywhere surely as i will sleep turned away from her, now i regret it" (it being thinking she wouldnt run away after a fight ahaha). its an ancient tanka from the man'yoshu mhm. book 14, 3577.

my plan until thursday is to finish writing an assignment and send it in by 7am , make rice later in the morning, attend my classes from 12pm until 4pm, then do some shopping. and once im home i want to eat dinner, take a nap and then get my mamma from work. and then... then at 12am i will fall asleep for fourteen hours straight. and then ill have to get up and go to an appointment.. and then i planned to meet my brother to discuss the plans for my nieces birthday party 🥰🥰🩷 i need to look forward to these things, because then my soul wont find the time to rest and be so incredibly sad and heavy. i always find comfort in Gods words but sometimes its still hard even when i feel Him being near. it just makes me yearn to go to heaven and cry cry cry until all sadness will be washed away 🥹🥹 its a different kind of homesickness

So after Karaoke tonight, I drove out to the boonies (about a half hour drive from town) to see the Perseid meteor shower! I laid on my back for like 30ish minutes, saw two meteors, and was really sleepy so I drove home. But I really enjoyed just lying in the quiet, listening to the crickets and breeze and my own breathing, gazing up at the faintly visible Milky Way and twinkling stars. The night sky is so, so beautiful.

#it reminded me of the time a couple months ago that the northern lights were supposed to be visible and i drove a friend out to a ...#...remote-ish place but not too far from town #and it was the first time she'd seen the clear night sky with her new glasses. and she was just staring at all the twinkling stars and...#...i showed her where the BARELY visible Milky Way was and the two constellations I know. and it was so cool.#because i remember looking up at the sky after i got my new glasses. and my eyesight was okay for most of my childhood before...#...then and then quickly got really bad. so i'd SEEN the stars fairly clearly but NEVER as clearly as with my glasses.#and it just blew my mind. the night sky is SO beautiful. and so many people across so many cultures and regions and times have #...looked up at the same night sky and drew pictures in the stars. just like us.#personal #i do wish i could have stayed up later and seen more meteors but. man. i am SO tired. it was a struggle to drive out there...#...and i still needed to be able to drive back. also a dog somewhat nearby was barking for like 5 straight minutes and out here that could..#...mean there's a bear or cougar or moose nearby so i was a little sketched out and decided i'd be safer in my car than on the ground #just in case. but between the exhaustion and the dog barking it was time to go home.

im going to miss the thrift store so much :( the couple who run it are so cool and kind, they've been really really lovely to me every time i've gone in there, they let me use their washroom once even though its not for customers, and the lady tossed a couple bonus items into my bag today and also gave me a tip on cleaning a wool skirt and also told me that one of the shirts I got is from the 70s (she said it in a bit of a whisper like it was a secret fdjskl) and it's just SUCH a good experience every time i've ever gone in there :') i am so so so grateful that i've had this store to experience for as long as i have, but i'm just really really going to miss it once it's gone in the next couple months 😭
