#THIS TOOK ME FOREVER RAAHHHH #i had help from my mom with stuff like the parts of the traje de mestiza which is the outfit shes wearing #this trend looks so much fun and i wanted to join in.. im first gen canadian though so ive never been to the philippines and only #know thru stories of my parents growing up. im proud of my heritage but there are some things i didnt grow up with that #make me feel disconnected from my culture. so it was nice to talk to my mom abt it and ask for her help with this :3 #the pleated tapis is meant to resemble her skirt.. i had no way of adding her stockings but i noticed the piano key design #so i used that for the saya. the bandana is meant to resemble her hairties and shes wearing bakya wooden slippers with embroidery #i kinda wanted to add the panuelo to resemble her tie as a finishing touch but i forgor ;w; just imagine it i guess #my mom really likes this. shes a little confused abt the blue hair and i had to explain her hair is like that but she thinks shes pretty #originally i wanted her holding the woven pamaypay and fanning herself because ITS HOT ITS 25 FUCKING DEGREES TODAY #but i couldnt get the pose right so i settled for this. i wanna draw her and brazilian miku high fiving ill do that tmrw #my art #myart #hatsune miku #miku worldwide #philippines #vocaloid #miku

#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #wen qing #wen ning #Sibling similarity but you only see it when you realize they have the same soggy eyes.#These two always struck me as a bit of a play on Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli for 'siblings who contrast each other.#But after spending a lot more time marinating on Wen Ning I actually think they are way more similar that is initially apparent.#Sure their surface level personality traits are pretty contrastive. But they both are so willing to risk their lives for what's right #Who raised them? In a story so full of examples of how parents shape their children - why are these two lacking in parents?#I imagine that Wen Qing is the older sibling and so her morals of 'help those who need it no matter who they are' got passed a long.#But how did *she* arrive there? Was that instilled within her or was it a reaction against bearing witness to callousness and cruelty?#We'll never know..the only thing I can say for certain is Wen Qing is *so* soggy in the audio drama.#She's like the ant with the bindle. It's a hell of a way to bring a previously sharp tongued character back into the narritive.#Side note: Thank you all for being so patient and kind while I took my break!#It's been a very chaotic few weeks and I didn't realize how bad my burnout was getting. I'm back and ready to keep drawing again!

i've convinced myself that Sunny is a serial gossiper, except the only other dragon that knows is Clay bc they're best buddies <3

about the silver-calling-shadow-grandpa thing: lil headcanon of mine that shadow and silver are related :] not by blood but because of funky gene experimentation someone or other did. basically,, idk they copied shadow's hedgehog genes and over time they got descended into silver 👍👍

I got sidetracked with those stones in the BG lol #Rock textures are still very fun ahh I can't help myself #The whole thing is extra! The web-cloth needed to contrast against her skin so I needed the directional lighting so I needed the background #Every step needed the next! I brought her back and redesigned her and im insane about her again. i begin sobbing on the ground. she’s so small. itty bitty……….

#this is melosa she is everything to me #weeping crying sobbing oh my god look at her awwwww AWWWUGHHH WEEHEHHH #sorry for not answering asks I was drawing this and buying some little bug guys who really rule.#id like to answer them soon im just a little burnt out #yeah she has an ankle monitor and hidden shock collar… little guy gets into a lot of trouble.#she’s the first jadeblooded cicada on her colony so they haven’t culled her for her antics.#the cicadas are essential to communicating with the mother grub #however by sabotage/accident she was given to a lusus for a more normal jadeblood and the nest parasite process went wrong #leading to her being rejected by her lusus : ( <im sooo edgy.#she spent a good deal of her time as a pretty young wriggler wandering around stealing from other trolls in the complex. the youngest troll #are raised in the interior layer of the planet.#she’s always been a rambler. she’s in the WALLS. she managed to break into somewhere super secret she wasn’t supposed to which got #The tracking device stuck on her. if she gets into areas she’s not supposed to be the collar might shock her.#she’s pretty miffed about the whole thing!! it doesn’t help with her exsisting issues with aggression #she likes making people mad and making people fight. just an angry wrath filled little guy #she wears the collars on her horns to stop anyone from trying to calm her down #bugstuck #buggy trolls #homestuck #homestuck oc #fantroll
