I dont think the fandom talks about it but i really love that every single piece of sky clothing is embroidered, because unless skyloft has embroidery machines thats all hand done. Which means either someone he knows makes a lot of them and gives them out freely (i give most of my projects to friends and family) or he would have paid someone for it, which means that either someone on skyloft lives of decorating clothing (and likely other fabrics) or someone just uses it to get some extra money (both are amazing since in the modern day people dont want to pay for handcrafted works what its actually worth)

“bet the shark can’t do that huh,” he quipped holding that same smirk back at you, leaving you a flustered mess as you felt a shade of rose rise to your cheeks. this man never failed to give you an insane amount of butterflies.

“i suppose you’re cuter,” you give in, as a smile of pride appears onto his face.

Red Son finished the last touch on Masters favorite treat, turning to them and watching how they finally revealed their face buried in the counter at the clink of the plate. A uneasy but genuine smile on their face. "Thank you. You're my hero." Came their tired voice. Much more cheery than before. Easing the Red Champion.

Red Son spotted Macaque peering into the kitchen. Wukongs head just above his. His blank but slightly worried expression contrasting Macaques near-to-tears look.

"Is Master okay?" The Purple champion asked.

"Im better." They sighed, somewhat more contently than before. A small smile on their face already easing the champions. They had asked Macaque to give them space while they let the painkillers kick in. But it was eating their comfort food that was helping the most. And they seemed a bit self conscious about how they ate during this time. Like they were worried any of it would get on the champions if they got too close. Did they think themselves a messy eater? Not that any of them would have minded.

"Have you tried putting something warm on where it hurts?" Came Wukongs calm voice. But those who have known him could trace the concern for their Master.

"Mm. I have my hand on it." Their Master responded. But Red Son could hear the nervous twitch of Macaques tail.

"Is Master going to be okay?" Turning, he saw MKs usual blank stare shifting to concern as he poked his head out from the left side of the door opposite to the two monkeys. Then came Nezhas’ hand reassuringly ruffling MKs hair as he walked by. "Master will be alright. They know themselves enough to tell us if they need anything." The Pink champion assured him. Red Son spotted the way Wukong turned and looked at Nezha before he approached their Master. "You took the pain medicine over an hour ago, and you still look like you have discomfort. How long does it usually take for them to take effect?"

"Mm. If I distract myself then... An hour or two?" Their Master mumbled, hiding themselves behind their hand as they tried cleaning up their face. Maybe they felt self conscious in front of them? "I really am feeling better, I just... Dont want to move right now."

"Would it helped if you lied down?" Red Son offered.

"That would just keep the blood from flowing down." Red Son winced. He still remembered that morning, how quickly Macaque went from talking teasing Nezha to turning his head in the direction of their Master before diving into a portal. Nezha quickly went to their master and before Red Son could do anything, MK tugged on his cape and asked what a star meant on their Masters calendar the previous month.

Whatever panic was in him then had immediately drained. Macaque and Nezha looked like their Master was in mortal Peril. The prior had an expression like he had smelled their Masters Blood. Now Red Son knew why.

Ever since then, Red Son had been baking up chocolate treats and anything that he noted their Master had praised as their comfort food. And their Master kept an eye on the clock for when to take pain killers. Their usual schedule had been as soon as they woke up, around noon. And right before bed.

The other Champiosn offered other tips their previous masters had tried during this time. (The ones who experienced this endurance at least) and while Master looked like they were considering some, they didnt look like they were ready to explore anything then. "Thank you but, I think I just need to relax."

No matter how many times they experienced this, they always felt absolutely helpless for their master in these moments.

It didn’t help that it had been so hot they didnt even want to cuddle anyone. And Red Son could clearly see the effects that was having on Macaque.

Master opened their eyes and saw the line of worried faces surrounding them. Macaque and MK peering over the counter, Red Son across from them, and Wukong and Nezha standing nearby. They let out a soft sigh before sitting up. "Really though. Thank you guys. I appreciate it. I really do." And they could feel you were telling the truth. "Hey. Macaque. Why dont you share one of your stories? I get lost in the way your shadows move. I think it might distract me." Macaques face immediately lit up. And he began making preparations.

They all eventually found themselves with the Master sitting in the middle, MK laying his head on their lap and earning pets while Wukong sat beside them, his cloak placed over them, watching Macaque while Red Son found himself laying his head next to MK. Evidently. Their master had memories of family members laying on their lap. This soothed them.

And Red Son knew this was close to where their pain was. He could tell just laying here, their Masters pain was subsiding. Red Son closed his eyes contently as Macaques shadows changed the scene in a beautiful way. Enjoying this closeness.

"Nezha.” Came their Masters voice, much softer this time, no pain or discomfort. “You know you can enjoy this with us right?" He heard Master call, knowing they were smiling to the Pink Champion they had been wanting to loosen up a little more. The red champion opened his eyes to see the Pink Champion hesitate in entering the room. But eventually did. And Red Son knew their master was holding his hand thankfully. And he very much knew Nezha was happy.

Each champion had a moment of feeling their Masters hand. Petting MK, petting Red Son, squeezing Wukongs hand, and holding Nezhas.

By the end of Macaques play, Master had praised him happily. And Red Son didn’t have much time to move when the Purple champion last and nuzzled into their Master, nearly crushing him in the process.

JUSTIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNN i have built my life around bullying this little freak like it’s some kind of chronically on like Olympic sport. but i do actually have a lot to say about him and most of it is quite positive.

JUSTIN VANDERVELDE HCS

I forget whose post you made it under but i really liked your idea about his last name being Van Der Velde, and it just had to be squished to fit into the yearbook, lord knows the yearbook editors dont care enough to even try adding the spaces and formatting that shit. His last name is obviously supposed to be some sort of callback towards Vanderbilt, so its easy to figure that his family have some sort of hand in railroads. I don’t really agree, I like to think his family are in something that is equally as profitable in the US as it is overseas like diamonds, maybe there’s even a particular shape or cut of diamond named after their family. There’s undoubtedly blood on their hands but it made them the family they are now so he likely doesn’t dwell on it. A lucrative and crazily profitable business like mining and processing diamonds makes Justin one of the most wealthy preps, and might explain why he’s close enough to Derby to propose alliances.

His last name clearly has Dutch roots (sorry to stay on this one detail for so long i promise i’ll move on soon) so I think his family spend a good amount of time in the Netherlands, likely where their ancestral business is based. He was born in the Netherlands and has a dual passport, as well as Dutch as his mother tongue. He rarely speaks any Dutch unless he’s talking with his older relatives, grandparents, uncles, aunts and distant cousins, because he thinks it makes him sound stupid. He can’t speak Dutch with his faux- English accent and it makes him feel inferior. Also, it is quite a silly language. He has two middle names: Augustjin and Coenraad, both of which were a real hassle for young Justin to spell out when his parents forced him to write his full name on their Christmas cards in childhood. Now, just Justin will suffice.

He’s a big piner, Justin wants friends but doesnt have many of them. Not good ones anyway, all the preps are more acquaintances to him than they are friends. No-one at bullworth truly has friends, but especially not preps. Prep friendships are alliances in the war against the poor, and friendships outside the clique are frowned upon because everyone that’s not a prep is well… a poor. It doesnt help that he’s a weird ass bitch that without all that money, would be nothing less than a nerd or a sketchy non-clique. He’d like to have a few good friends but he knows better than to think that once you reach adulthood, the friends you make through business are never real friends.

An impeccable swimmer, he’s tall, slim and athletic. He cuts through the water like a hot knife through butter. He’s honestly unbeatable, and believe it or not the swimming cap and goggles actually make him look less weird. His body is perfectly built for professional swimming, all the inbreeding paid off in a weird sort of way. His legs, while a little stubbier than expected for a boy of his height give him an extra helping hand in the hydrodynamics department, as do his weirdly large (undoubtedly webbed feet). His arms are long, thin and double jointed. This grossly long wingspan gives him that extra pull as he swims that makes him such a joy to watch in the water, and caught him the attention of his beloved Ted Thompson, who despite being critical of Justin’s girlish frame, can really appreciate him as a stellar athlete.

Justin’s teeth, if you can believe it, used to be worse. He was born with a mouth that was far too small for the many many teeth that he was growing in. It was an entire mouth full of snuggle teeth, sort of like when you look in a shark’s mouth and see all its rows of backup teeth. Honestly, it was like he got all of them knocked out and the dentist shoved them back in blindfolded. That meant that as a youth, he was a lot quieter tan we see him in game, he opened his mouth as little as possible because one time, someone fainted. He is in the process of getting veneers, but his father is adamant he wait a few years until his teeth have settled down. His braces came off just before the events of the game I like to think, maybe in the summer before.

Another tooth hc, but the reason his teeth are quite so prominent is that he was, and still kind of is, a thumb sucker. It’s a mindless action he’s been doing since he was a tot, but the consequences are his teeth are all kinds of fucked up now. Usually when he’s writing an essay or trying to pay close attention to something, like one of Derby’s impossibly long rambly speeches, his thumb just seems to teleport into his mouth. It’s not that he wants to, it’s embarrassing and childish. But he can’t really seem to stop doing it.

Anyway. Hmm I'd imagine most of the cast wouldn't be from the deep sea, since the idea is them having to go down and survive. I know I'd spend way too long picking out breeds though, so I'm gonna be strong and not do that. HOWEVER.

I could totally see Sam being part Coelacanth.

They give me tough, hardy vibes. And are ANCIENT, theyre one of the few prehistoric breeds still found today. And yknow, cloning, living forever, etc etc.

That's the only one to come to mind immediately. Except I'll still die on the hill that c!Dream is a betta fish. And I could see Techno as some sort of shark.

But yeah i dont reaallly know that many deep-sea species because the deep ocean FREAKS ME OUT.. /pos? I think they should all find some cool underwater magic bioluminescence somehow, that'd be real neat

My Little Mermaid Part 1:Shipwreck

Series Masterlist

Y/N always felt like a fish out of water. As if there was an invisible string pulling her to the surface. Y/N has been obsessed with the human world for as long as she could remember. Always collecting the things that fell into the ocean and exploring the several shipwrecks much to her fathers dismay. After the death of Y/N's mother,  King Triton forbid his daughters from going to the surface. His intention was to keep them safe however Y/n always felt restrained.

Tonight was the coral moon, meaning King Triton would gather all of his daughters and have a long awaited family meeting. Yet Y/N was nowhere to be found.

Y/N was too busy exploring the shipwrecks with her fish friend Flounder. "Come on Flounder, stop being such a guppy," Y/N teased the fish.

"I'm not so sure about this Y/N," the fish said with concern in his tone.

"Fine, then you can keep an eye out for sharks," Y/N suggested as she swam through the window of the sunken ship.

"S- sharks," Flounder stuttered, but the mermaid was out of sight, "Wait up, Y/N"

“I wonder what this is,” Y/N wondered as she held up a telescope and looked through it. She picked up another thingamabob and spun it around in her hands.

"Woah, isn't this so cool?" Y/N asked while looking at the mysterious trinket. "I wonder what it's for, Scuttle will know" Y/N claimed.

"Don't you think we should head back, Y/N" Flounder suggested.

"Flounder, watch out!" Y/N exclaimed as a shark approached the window of the sunken ship. As the large creature broke through the glass Y/N frantically grabbed Flounder and began to swim away.  Once Y/N thought they were in the clear she turned around just to make sure and as they tried to escape the shark appeared once agin crashing through the wooden walls of the ship.  "Come on, Flounder!" Y/N shouted as she swam away, safely escaping the ship with the trinket.

Once back in the water, Y/N noticed that Flounder was no longer by her side. She turned around and noticed that the shark was chasing him. She quickly looked around for something to use to distract the large creature. She noticed a large rock and dropped it on the shark in order to divert its attention away from Flounder. She quickly swam away and hid behind a door, allowing her reflection to show on the mirror, tricking the shark. Once it got stuck Y/N and Flounder quickly made their escape.

"You okay, Flounder?" Y/N asked concerned for the fish.

"Yeah, I wasn't even scared," the fish lied.

"Oh, hey Scuttle," Y/N greeted the bird.

"Hi, Y/N, what do you have for me today?" Scuttle asked the mermaid.

"What's this," the mermaid asked pulling out the trinket.

"This, this is a dinglehopper," the bird confidently claimed.

"A dinglehopper?" asked the mermaid with curiosity.

"Yup, the humans use it to style their hair," the bird explained and used it on herself as an example, "You just give it a spin, you might pull a little bit with it." Scuttle said as a few feathers got tugged by the dingle hopper.

Y/N couldn't stop herself and attempted to use the dinglehopper on herself but heard her name being called out and quickly put down the trinket.

"There you are child, I've searched across the whole ocean for you," said Sebastian, her fathers advisor. 

"Oh no, Scuttle I've got to go," Y/N sighed as she swam away from the bird.

"Its okay, sweetie, I do too," said Scuttle, "I need some air"

AT THE PALACE

"Dad, I'm so sorry," Y/N pleaded.

"Yeah, its not her fault we were exploring the shipwrecks and-" Flounder began in an attempt to get Y/N off the hook.

"The shipwrecks?" King Triton asked anger evident in his tone, "How many times have I told you it's dangerous!"

"Father, I" Y/N began but was quickly cut off.

"I dont want to hear it," shouted the King, "Go to your room!" 

Y/N sighed and turned around to swim to her grotto.

IN Y/N'S GROTTO

"He just doesnt get it," Y/N claimed as she lay her head on a rock and looked around at her collection.

*Play part of that world for the best experience*

"Look at this stuff, isn't it neat" Y/N sang as she began to swim around "Wouldn't you think my collections complete."

"Wouldn't you think I'm the girl, the girl who has, everything" 

"Look at this trove, treasures untold," she continued, "How many wonders can one cavern hold," She swam around admiring her collection of trinkets. "Looking around here you'd think, sure she's got everything."

"I've got gadgets and gizmos a plenty. I've got whozits and whatzits galore," claimed the mermaid as she opened a jewlery box.

"You want thingamabobs?, the mermaid asked as she played with a compass, "I've got twenty," she chuckled. "But who cares, no big deal, I want more"

"I want to be where the people are," expressed Y/N. "I want to see, want to see them dancing." "Walking around on those, what do you call them," the mermaid paused, "feet" 

"Flipping your fins you don't get too far, legs are required for jumping , dancing," The mermaid sighed expressing her desires, "Strolling along down a, whats the word again, street"

"Up where they walk, up where they run, up where they stay all day in the sun," Y/N exclaimed, " Wandering free," the mermaid sighed.

"Wish I could be, part of that world." the mermaid claimed, expressing her desires, "What would I give, if i could live, out of these waters"

"What would I pay, to spend a day warm on the sand?" the mermaid asked herself.

"Betcha on land, they understand, bet they dont reprimand their daughters," Y/N claimed, "Bright young women sick of swimming, ready to stand."

"Ready to know what the people know,"

"Ask them my questions and get some answers," the mermaid sang, "what's a fire and why does it, whats the word, burn," The mermaid swam around.

"When's it my turn, wouldn't I love, love to explore that shore up above," Y/N sang as she stretched her hand towards the surface.

"Out of the sea," she sighed, "Wish i could be, part of that world," she expressed as she brought back her outstretched hand and sat down on a rock.

 LATER THAT DAY

Y/N was in her grotto when she heard the sound of crackling and saw red sparks in the sky. Letting her curiosity get the best of her she swam up to the surface. 

"Where is she going," Sebastian sighed in annoyance, "Come back here child"

Y/N looked around mesmerized as she watched the sparks in the sky careful to avoid them as they fell into the water.  She watched the sailors on board celebrating and dancing. She swam up to the boat and hid in a compartment close to the deck of the boat. 

She listened closely to a conversation between two of the humans on board.

"Come on, I'm just having fun, the rest of the crew is," one of the voices said.

"You are not like the rest of the crew and it is time that you stop acting as such," the other voice claimed.

"And how am I supposed to act, more like my father was," the first voice suggested.

Y/N suddenly stopped listening when a large dog came near where she was hiding and she reached out to pet it.

"Come back here, Max" the first voice said.

Y/N quickly redrew her hand as she heard footsteps approaching. Suddenly Y/N heard thunder and felt heavy rain pouring down. 

"A storm, its coming in quick!" the same voice exclaimed, "All hands on deck!"

Y/N slid out of where she was hiding and back into the water. Y/N looked around and watched as all the crew on board attempted to keep the boat afloat.  She watched as the boat caught on fire and heard the shouts from all the members on board.

"Abandon ship," a voice called out as several members hopped into life boats. 

"What are you doing Eric?" another voice called out.

"Max," the voice that the mermaid could now recognize as 'Eric's' cried out. Y/N watched as the man ran towards the dog and threw him overboard.

"Come on boy," called out a voice with open arms ready to assist the dog. Y/N quickly swam underwater and gave the dog a push. Once out of sight she resurfaced and watched in horror as Eric fell off the ship.

A/N: Hey guys, i hope you enjoyed the first part. I only watched the movie twice so some details might be off. This is my first attempt at writing so If you guys have any reccomendations or constructive criticism please feel free to share. I decided to add in the songs and plan to do such in future chapters however if you don't like the idea please let me know.
