“What is this?” - If you’re curious about what this post is it’s a list of rules and guidelines that I use as a writer to help people understand the conditions of requesting that I use for requests and or questions when it comes to my writing! You’ll also find posts like this pinned to other talented authors accounts so that way it’s easier to understand what they do and don’t accept when it comes to writing

“What’s requesting?” - Requesting on tumblr is sending a anonymous or public request to an author asking them to write a specific piece of literature for a fandom the author writes and you enjoy

“What are the conditions for asking?” - This varies for different people but in a rules/gudilines post you will usually find a section where the author explains what they are willing to write you (genres, type of fic, etc.) and you can go from asking off of that (if your not sure about a request because it’s not specifically stated in guidelines just ask them, I will have my list of conditions down below. If you’re unsure about something, like stated, you can just message me!)

“How do I know if requests are open?” - It’s typically specified on persons bio, guidelines further down, or somewhere on their account. Currently, I have it stated in my bio and the top of this guidelines/rules post.

“Finally, will this post always be pinned?” - Yes it will! That means that you’ll always know what conditions to ask for in a fic, if my requests are open, and other information. It will always be at the top of my page on this pinned post

Things to Keep in Mind…

One last thing to keep in mind before I end this is that I am still in school which means I will not always have the time to answer requests or get back to you write away! I might even go on Hiatus or remain inactive for certain periods of time so just keep that In mind when requesting and waiting for fics. I also will act more passionately on different fandoms at different points in time because interests change, I will still keep the fics I have of them up but it’s possible I might not write for them any longer.
