It was a pleasant early spring afternoon, and the garden seemed to invite anyone passing by to sit and relax. You walked through it, holding a small parchment wrap that hid a piece of chocolate, something you knew he loved. The sun filtered through the trees, and the soft sound of the wind filled the space between the birds’ singing.

That was when you saw him.

Remus was sitting on a stone bench near a row of yellow flowers that were beginning to bloom, his brown hair tousled by the wind and his face slightly tilted to one side, completely engrossed in the book in his hands. You noticed the scars on his cheeks and temples, which the sunlight made more visible, but which he seemed to carry with a serenity that only made him more endearing.

It was a Muggle romance, you realized, something he read often. You couldn’t help but smile as you watched him — he looked so peaceful, so at ease in that moment. It was in these moments that you couldn’t help but think that he was, without a doubt, the most adorable boy in the whole school.

Without lifting his gaze from the book, he spoke, his voice gentle and familiar: “Are you going to watch me all day or come join me?”

You froze for a moment, your heart racing. He knew you were there, and, from the tone of his voice, he seemed more amused than annoyed. When you finally mustered the courage to take a step forward, Remus looked up, and with a smile that seemed calm and sincere, he nodded towards the empty space beside him.

“I was starting to think you weren’t going to show up today,” he said, closing the book for a moment and resting it on his lap. “I thought we could enjoy the weather.”

His smile, soft and genuine, made something tighten in your chest, and you tried to hide the wave of butterflies that flooded your stomach as you approached. Even though you were friends, he always had that effect on you — the simple, warm way he carried himself, the voice that seemed to hold the comfort of hot chocolate on a cold night.

You sat beside him, adjusting your coat against the light spring breeze. The stone bench wasn’t exactly comfortable, and you quickly realized that the space was too small for both of you. Remus’s shoulder brushed against yours lightly, the unexpected warmth of his closeness contrasting with the cool breeze.

He seemed not to notice — or he was pretending very well. Remus’s brown eyes were fixed on the wrap you held, a gentle smile playing on his lips. “Is this for me?” he asked, his voice low, almost hesitant, as if he didn’t want to assume too much.

You lifted the wrap and pretended to consider it, raising an eyebrow. “Depends,” you replied, your tone dry but playful. “Do you deserve it?”

Remus let out a soft laugh, the sound warm enough to seem to fill the air around you. He tilted his head to the side, as if thinking over the question. “I think I’ve been a good friend,” he said, his voice tinged with a nearly melodic quality. “But can you remind me of any transgressions I’ve committed recently?”

You tried to contain a smile, but it emerged despite your efforts. “Hm, maybe I should share, then,” you murmured, unrolling the parchment to reveal a generous piece of chocolate. “But only because I’m incredibly generous.”

Remus accepted the piece with a look of genuine gratitude, but he hesitated before taking a bite, his eyes meeting yours for an instant longer than necessary. “I always knew you were generous,” he said, the tone almost clumsy but sincere.

You looked away, trying to mask the light blush rising to your cheeks. The wind tousled his hair, and the scars seemed to soften in the filtered sunlight. He took a bite of the chocolate, and his face lit up with a look of childlike pleasure, as if that piece were the best he had ever tasted.

“This is amazing,” he said, his voice full of warm enthusiasm. “Did you make it yourself?”

You shrugged, trying to appear indifferent, even as you felt thousands of butterflies take flight in your stomach at the compliment. “Of course. It’s nothing special.”

He looked at you, his eyes shining in a way that made your heart stumble. “It is. You’re talented,” he said, and there was something in the softness of his voice that made you look away, pretending to watch the flowers in the garden.

The comfortable silence that followed was broken when, without thinking, you said:

“You know, Remus, if you weren’t so adorable, you probably wouldn’t have gotten the chocolate.”

The words slipped from your lips like a secret that shouldn’t have been revealed, and their weight hung in the air between you. His eyes widened in that instant, and you wanted to shrink right there, maybe disappear among the flowers around you. You tried to regain control. Maybe you could make it seem like a joke, just another casual tease between you. You opened your mouth to say something, anything, but the warmth rising to your face and the intense sparkle in his eyes left you speechless.

Remus, however, was quicker. He placed the chocolate on the bench between you and tilted his head slightly, a shy but utterly sincere smile forming on his lips. “So… is that all I need to do to get more chocolate? Be adorable?”

The question was asked in such a light, almost playful tone, but his eyes… his eyes told another story. There was something there that you couldn’t help but feel: an immense tenderness, an admiration that seemed genuinely disarming.

Your heart pounded so hard that you almost believed he could hear it. “Don’t get cocky,” you replied, your voice quieter than you intended, trying to sound indifferent, but the hesitant smile on his lips gave you away.

Remus laughed, a soft, warm laugh, and you felt the sound reverberate through your entire body like an unexpected ray of sunlight on a cold day. He scratched the back of his neck, a gesture that seemed to be his way of handling embarrassment. “I just wanted to know,” he continued, the tone gentle, but now there was something more vulnerable in his voice. “If it’s that obvious that you think I’m adorable… what else do you think about me?”

The world seemed to stop. Your brain desperately tried to find an answer, but your mind was in complete chaos, torn between the disbelief that he was really flirting with you and the sheer panic that maybe he was expecting an honest answer.

You looked away, feeling the warmth in your cheeks grow even more. “I think you should share the chocolate,” was all you managed to say, pointing at the piece he had left on the bench.

He laughed again, but didn’t push further, as if he knew he had taken the conversation to the safe limit — for now. Remus picked up the piece of chocolate, carefully broke it in half, and offered you one half. When you took it, your fingers brushed briefly, and the warmth of that simple contact felt so intense that you wondered if it was possible for someone to feel that way just from being close to another person.

“You have excellent taste in chocolate,” he commented, taking a bite and closing his eyes for a moment, savoring the sweetness as if it were the best he had ever tasted.

You watched him, allowing yourself a small moment of contemplation. How could he be so… Remus? So kind, so unassuming, so… adorable. And then he opened his eyes, catching you staring with a look that lingered longer than he probably intended.

“I’m sure the chocolate is so good because it came from you,” he said, and there was something in the way he looked at you, something so full of sweetness that left your heart completely vulnerable.

You were in the drama/theater club at your high school, often appearing as the leading or supporting roles in musicals your school would put on in the auditorium. It was amazing, both fun and something you were good at! But what made it even better was one of the tech kids, Leo Valdez—Who was your boyfriend!

A few weeks ago, you scored one of the lead roles—Veronica Sawyer—in a musical your school was putting on called ‘Heathers’. But, there was a rather… intimate scene with another character, Veronica’s love interest, in the show during the song ‘Dead Girl Walking’, and Leo tried to tolerate it and support you the best he could, but it was getting a little unbearable for him.

“Baby…” Leo whined as you ranted to him about your role in the musical, even though you should have been practicing your lines. “Shouldn’t you be, uh, practicing or something?” He didn't want to send you away like that, but he could go on hearing you talk about that scene.

“Sorry, sorry, you’re right. I’ll go practice my lines. Thanks for the reminder. Love you, bye!” You say apologetically, kissing his cheek quickly (If any teacher or adult at the school saw you do that you’d probably get detention.) and running out from backstage where you were talking to Leo as he worked on… Whatever he does.

It was a few hours from the first showing of the show as your high school was doing a morning and afternoon show. You were backstage getting ready, changing into costume, and makeup, making sure you had your lines completely memorized and you could hit each note in the songs—Which you could. Expect you couldn’t help but be a bit worried about this. Sure, you had played so many roles before throughout the years you’ve been in high school, but you were worried about little things, a lot of little things which slowly added up to become one big thing for you to worry about—Making sure you’d sing the school appropriate version of the lyrics, making sure you wouldn’t blank on stage (How embarrassing would that be?!), making sure you were perfect.

Then you got an idea.

There was one person that you knew for sure thought you were perfect. Your boyfriend, Leo! Of course, you’d be able to get reassurance from him! So naturally you ran—Not too fast though, you couldn’t ruin your costume—off from where you were sat to find him.

It didn’t take you long to find Leo, he was exactly where you had expected him to be after all. “Leo!” You called out as you walked up to him, placing one of your hands on his arm so he would turn around to face you. And he in fact did turn around and face you like you had suspected he would.

“What is it?” He asked, sounding confused. He thought you would be getting ready for the musical, not running up to him for a chat. “Did ya miss me that bad you had to stop getting ready to come find me?” He added with a short chuckle, gaining a smile.

“Nono,—Well yes, but that’s not why I came to find you.” You replied, worry practically seeping through your words the more you spoke. Leo noticed almost immediately.

Your hand was still on his arm, Leo put his hand on top of yours. “Wow, I’m hurt.” He teased. “Well then, what is it? Whatcha need?” That was one of the things you loved about Leo; he always seemed to know when you were worried or upset about something, even if he didn’t know how to comfort you.

“I dunno, I guess I’m just nervous about this. I’m scared of messing up on stage.” You admit to him, and Leo seems to immediately understand what you mean. “Oh, don’t worry about it. You’ll do great, trust me.”

Then, when you were finally getting that reassurance from your boyfriend, it was about roughly 15-to-20 minutes until curtain—Until you would be on stage. Oh, brother.

You were feeling a little more better as you rushed back to the backstage area of the auditorium, Leo’s words ringing in your ears. The backstage was suddenly not as easy to navigate as it was before you ran off to find your boyfriend. People—Either in the show themselves or apart of tech like Leo—Were running around, trying to make sure the preparations were all set and everything was ready for the first showing of the musical.

Then you got told by one of the tech team members to get in your place on stage.

After about 2 and a half hours, the morning show of your high schools performance of ‘Heathers The Musical’ was over. You bowed before the audience, sweating, your throat sore and hurting from singing for almost 2 hours straight. At this point, all you could think of was the bottle of water that was waiting for you by your bag backstage.

As soon as the curtain closed, you ran off stage to where you had set your bag in desire of the bottle of water you had gotten before hand. And there it was waiting for you, along with Leo, your boyfriend.

“See? What did I tell you? You did amazing, just like I said you would.” Leo said, wrapping one of his arms around you, seemingly not minding the fact that you were practically covered in sweat.

“Yeah yeah, I know,” You groan in reply. “Just lemme grab my water before you start praising me.” You let out a dry laugh, —Dry to the fact that your throat was now killing you. You reached out your hand for your bottle of water, but Leo grabbed it before you could. You thought he would hold on to it tightly and reach his hand up high, making you reach even farther for it, but he didn’t. Instead, he opened it for you and handed it to you, seemingly recognizing how tired you were after performances.

“You look tired,” Leo mused, knowing exactly where this was going to go. After most shows and performances, you would be tired and feel miserable. So miserable and tired that you would just crash in his arms. “Come here..” He said, opening his arms for you to fall into. You quickly leaned your whole body against him, leaning into his arms.

TRYNA FIND THE LESSON IN IT ALL, BUT I HAVEN’T LEARNED ANYTHING

it’s eerily silent as you walk in at the end of the day.

normally you both head to joels for dinner, a vinyl plays while he cooks, ellie bothering him the whole time. or tommy and joel talking about anything and everything on the couch. ellie learning a new song.

but it’s different now.

the kitchen is empty, a lone bowl on the counter near the sink. the couch ellie begged him dor is empty, but the ghost of him is in the dip on the far side, a pillow propped up neatly. ellie doesn’t say a word, doesn’t make a sound. she’s a lot quieter.

she’s in bed still, staring at the ceiling, mouthing something you can’t decipher. when you sit beside her and run a hand through her hair she tries a smile. it falls flat, not the same.

ellie finds a kind of comfort in the quiet, your fingers gently untangling the knots in her hair. she can’t stand the idea of his music without him, but a tune he hummed constantly is stuck in her head.

you whisper about your day when she asks. tell her the chores you did, about what you’ll have to eat tonight. she hums when need be, content to just listen to your voice fill the room.

ellie goes to joel’s the next day.

the new place is good, though not really new now you’ve been here so long.

ellie likes the sheep, a sweet reminder. she takes good care of them and you. she puts on a vinyl every morning while you eat breakfast. she perfects the songs joel taught her.

she tries her best to understand why, take a lesson out of it. makes the best of a bad situation. she doesn’t tell you whats in her head.

she doesn’t tell you that she sees him out the window talking to the sheep, gone with a blink. she doesn’t say that she can hear his voice mix with yours when you sing while cleaning. she doesn’t say that she feels like time has gone backwards, making her younger instead of older.

ellie watches in silence as you harmonize while doing the dishes, a small dance as you go. its dorky, her staring and you, but she loves it.

her mind is more peaceful than it used to be, he doesn’t haunt her daydreams the same way. ellie finds herself behind you, hands winding around your waist and falling flat against your stomach. she hums as she presses sweet kisses in your neck when you go quiet.

“keep singing,” she says. “i love listening.” and so you do. she grabs a tea-towel and finds her way next to you and dries the clean dishes.

she’s paused, admiring you, when his hum fills her mind. she can almost see him pouring a drink while you chat, the song just background noise.

“els,” she snaps back to reality. you question her, ask if she’s okay.

its too quiet when you wake. ellie’s usual heavy breathing not there to lull you back to sleep. ellie not there at all beside you in bed. it knocks the wind out of you as you move out of bed and down the stairs.

a bag is on the counter in front of her, packed. the jacket around her shoulders is his. the floorboards creaking stops her in her spot. hearing your shaky sigh turns her around, her face sullen and eyes tired.

your hands shake as you move to her, a watery smile and shaking hands grabbing her face. you move into her space, pulling her tightly into a hug. she’s slow to reciprocate, but her hold is tighter than yours when she does. hands rub small circles on your lower back.

she knows what you wanna ask before you do. “i need to go alone.” you’re still, breath stopping for a moment, but you nod.

you breathe her in before pulling back, your hand finds her face again. her eyes slip close as you press your lips to the corner of her mouth.

ellie can’t look back when she leaves.

rewatched 1/9/25 5/5 STARS ! the movie is so stupidly endearing. sean gives me heavy second-hand embarrassment sometimes but the motorcycle scene is so sick 🙏 the way they portrayed the island was so pretty and in my opinion the animal animations were pretty good. gabato is so stupid i love him. i liked watching the bond between sean and hank develop, aswell as hank and gabato (theyre so dumb i love them) also the beef between hank and alexander makes me giggle so bad. if i had a penny for how many times dwayne “the rock” johnson jiggled his boobs and saved an island through a storm i’d have two pennies. why does he keep doing this.

watched 1/11/25 4.5/5 STARS ! in the horror aspect, not the best. it was more bloody than scary, however it was still a very good movie. i loved gemma’s character (even if it wasnt actually her), she ate so hard. i liked joshua a lot aswell. i honestly really liked the way they made skye handle the “infection”(?), because yes it wasnt productive in the sense of solving the problem but it felt more realistic. i honestly ADORED the ending. i love when horror movies end with a death instead of solving the issues or being a “tune in next time”. also the monster? AUAAGGHH it looked kind of stupid but the CONCEPT WAS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!

watched 1/11/25 3.5/5 STARS ! at the beginning i wasnt a huge fan (the scene where the guy’s dick got ripped off made me giggle so bad im sorry) but like as the movie went on i ended up getting super invested… i honestly wish more movies were filmed like this because it’s super cool to me… sometimes lesser quality just makes things look cooler. at first i wasnt a fan because there was so much going on back to back but like i ended up really preferring that. like you basically knew (almost) everyone was going to die but it was still interesting. i dunno i guess this movie just kinda grew on me throughout watching it :3

I............. the Namek Freeza battle ....... was I think all about Satisfaction. Goku going Super Saiyan - moving into "throws of unimaginable rage" as Freeza put it - was like moving into the ultimate fury of the Fight response. Pure aggression instinct.

He didnt drop this state until he deemed the fight over. Not when Freeza was DEAD - but when GOKU FELT that he was no longer a threat. He didnt need to kill him to find satisfaction. There just had be nothing left to kick around.

This partly makes me think of the way that aggression in predators is activated by movement and resistance - and is why an animal freezing will make a cat boredly leave. Cats especially dont just hunt becasue they're hungry - it's a set of behaviors that they DELIGHT in, that brings them joy, like how birds like to sing (even when they have no prospects for a mate - think caged birds) and have the impulse to roost (even doing so when there are no eggs - think pet pigeons.) Cats love to play with their prey after they catch them. Which is so morbid for the prey. But the cat just loves to do it. And obviously they'll play with inanimate things too - as long as they keep moving, or at least make a satisfying sound.

Saiyans seem a lot like that. They LOVE to fight, have to even, there is a reserve of energy in their soul that compels them to fight - but it's not pure aggression, no, it can be joy. But the prey needs to keep active and alive to stimulate that joy- we're constantly seeing Goku needing the enemy to give him their all, and not just for honor's sake, but becasue there is a very tangible thrill that he is getting out of this and he just needs the satisfaction of a good, FULL fight. It's disappointing when the enemy gives up too soon or never puts up much resistance. Think about how many times he admits high excitement when facing a strong enemy. Think about how much later in the series, Goku gets so FRUSTARTED when theres no one good to fight. He NEEEEDS to release this energy he NEEEDS to be equally matched. He needs the proper resistance in order to put in his all, and he needs the mutual reciprocation of - bare minimum, if not any other thing to agree on - Passion.

I mean dont get me wrong Saiyans as a whole DEFINITELY KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THEMSELVES when it comes to ANGRY AGGRESSION. But they also just like to fight. And "killing" is not the only satisfying end to that.

Goku, by nature, adheres to the call of mercy. He needs to fight more than anything, it's kind of his whole thing, but he never feels compelled to kill. Rather, he NEEDS the enemy to live so that they can come back stronger later and give him another Satisfying Fight...!

But that's not what's behind all of his mercy - really, his mercy is as instinctual as his need for fight. The latter we can attribute to his species, but the former is uniquely his own and just as integral. That's what makes him Goku. When Freeza was begging for mercy, Goku was incensed to hear it - but he could not resist the call. BECAUSE: This is about SATISFACTION, and he would FIND NONE if he let himself walk away in cold blood.

When he had to kill Freeza he wasnt happy about it. He had already found his satisfaction. He didnt want to also kill him, but he knew that Freeza had forced his hand - truly, truly forced his hand, wrote his actions, becasue right up to the end, Freeza WAS a worthy fight. BUT, Goku never takes Freeza's last-minute advice about how mercy's only beneficiary is your foe. Because right up to the end, Freeza was a fool. That's what Goku yells at him when he is forced to return a ki blast and end him, and it is the most pertinent thing for him to say. Freeza never learned to read into harmony and to be able to track the moving ki of living things. Freeza never learned how precious life is, which from Goku's divine wisdom, is an ignorance that to which there exists no greater indicator of a fool. Freeza was just a fool.

Anyway: I said earlier that this reminded me of how cats play, but that was a tangent. What this fight REALLY is is AWESOME, RIGHTEOUS RAGE and VINDICATION and REVENGE and SATISFACTION. It's immensely gratifying to the viewer, most of us walking around with no good way to vent the awesome survival rage that we're capable of, and for some, is locked inside of us due to past happenings that were never resolved.

THE SCENERY IS INTENSE - the sick, dead, EXPLODING planet, devoid of life, giving in to the epic violence of all that it's made of. It represents being past overdue, when you've gone under the tunnel and theres no sun, when God has written you off and theres nothing more to do and you're just waiting until you're not there to wait anymore. To Goku it's this pivotal time to nail the escape - but to the planet, it's past any salvageability, past the event horizon. It's not the fearful wait for death, it IS death, upfront and center and awesome and profound. So theres this backdrop of complete obliteration without desolation, consummate violence, the magma and tsunamis and lightning and earthquakes.

And Goku is burning with unwavering conviction to survive this. Hes not willing to die with Freeza like he was with Raditz - this is not about being tactful - this is about something higher, this is divine comeuppance. He intercepted King Kai and the Grand Elder's communication to tell them that they better not wish him away. This is HIS FIGHT - and anyone could see that this is his PURPOSE. If he dies here then he will with total satisfaction. This is what hes meant to do. The preservation of what's precious, the commitment to honor, to deferring to the calls of revenge, the electricity in his body and his blood inside and out - this is all his biology and he is one with his fate. He will not be removed prematurely. This cannot be thwarted. The impact of this perfectly-focused force of his spirit is, out of context, only destructive - and if you remove him from this before satisfaction, there is no way in this lifetime that he will be able to discharge this in an effective or meaningful way. If he cant win this, then he needs to die. This is all he is.

He had entered the Super Saiyan state again when Freeza attacked him again, and this time he didnt leave it when Freeza was deemed no longer threat. He maintained it as he tried to escape. The threat isnt over yet - he has even less time than he did, and all of this energy can now be converted into initiating an active escape.

Furthermore - and this feels like a weak detour now- when Freeza's ship fell into the innards of the planet and all hope was seemingly loss .. even though Goku was left there like "No ... this cant be happening..!" He still didnt feel trapped or hopeless and he didnt move into any sort of freeze response. No tonic immobility for our Goku. His fury is too POWERFUL, and his constitution POWERFUL ENOUGH to contain it without getting overwhelmed (INCREDIBLE!). He has not reached satisfaction yet - he has not escaped yet - so he will remain in this state.

Also Goku, by character, training, AND blood, will never ever resort to any sort of freeze .. THIS WE KNOW ... we saw baby Gohan fall into that a few times (the way he would have a burst of power and then drop to level 0 in overwhelming fear...) but even at his young age and limited training we see the fight response in him show up and triumph . I do just think that Saiyans will Always Fight rather than flee and they will persist with fight for a long time even if the situation becomes unsalvageable... I think it's just their coding. I've no reason to believe otherwise...

andrew keenan bolger was born on the 16th may 1985 in detroit. he has 2 older sisters, maggie and celia ( who won a tony award for “to kill a mockingbird”!) he’s married to scott bixby since 2018 and their relationship is so nice and wholesome it’s so cute.

his first broadway role was in the OBC of seussical as alternate Jojo in 2000-2001 of which he did ONE broadway show then got kicked coz he hit puberty LMFAO poor 15 year old andrew

he then went on to be robertson ay in mary poppins THEN went in a woekshop for newsies and papermill and broadway( fun fact i think he’s the only actor who stayed in the same role for the workshop, papermill then obc of newsies )

during newsies he got a lot of fans which honestly yeah real but in march 2013 he left newsies to begin rehersing for tuck everlasting which didn’t make it until 2016 bc there wasn’t a suitable theatre for a transfer to broadway yet ( another fun fact if it had stayed in the realm of 2013 sadie sink would have played winnie instead of sarah charles lewis )

then in 2017 he was in kris kringle the musical playing kris kringle and in 2021 he was in seven deadly sins the off broadway musical playing phillipe

As everyone cheered, Mike looked over to the far left of the stage, where he saw Will, cheering as loud as he possibly could for his boyfriend. And waving to get his attention. Mike waved back and looked back to the center of the crowd, strumming his gituar again. "This one's called betty" Mike smiled, glazing of to Will agian, who smiled back and starting cheering again.

"Honey, I won't make assumptions about why you switched you homeroom but, I think it's 'cause of me" Mike began then, stepping away from the mic to shoot another glace at Will, who was already staring at him in complete awe.

Mike smiled again and stepped back up to the mic, singing, "Honey, one time I was writing on my skateboard when I passed your old house. It's like I couldn't breathe" This time, holding all his attention on Will. "You heard the rumors from El and you can't believe a word she says most times, but this time it was true" El? That line hit Will like a ton of bricks. Remembering the whole fight they had in the rain when they were you younger. 'It's not my fault you don't like girls.' Remembering that moment sent shivers down his spine. Will shook his head and looked back up at the stage knowing the song his boyfriend was singing was about him.

"Honey, I know where it all went wrong, your favorite song was playing from the far side of the gym" Mike sung, looking back at Will and rolling his eyes sarcastically, that make Will laughed because he know how insufferable he is when it comes to Should I Stay Or Should I Go? "I was no where to be found I hate the crowds, you know that. Plus, I saw you dance with him" Will laughed again, remember Mike would act fake jealous when Lucas would dance with him at the partys he would throw after his basketball games.

Will assumed he was talking about Max in these lines because she was the only one tjat called Mike by his middle name, James.

"Honey, right now is the last I can dream about what happens when I see your face again." He finally reached the end of the stage, crouching down infront of Will and stating into his eyes, "The only thing I wanna do, is make it up to you." He sang, sticking iut his hand for Will to take. As the crowd was going crazy, Mike gave Will a look that basically asked, 'Can I pull you up on stage?' Which Will responded with an obvious nod.

Mike stopped singing for a second and let the crowd cheer again. He stepped back up to the mic and focused all his attention on Will and started singing in a softer voice. "Honey, I'm here on your doorstep and I planned this out for weeks now but, it's finally sinkin' in" Mike sung, pulling the mic off it's sand and slowly moving closer to far stage left where Will was.

Mike did just that as the tempo of the song increased, "Yeah, I showed up at your party. Will you have me? Will you love me? Will you kiss me on the pourch infront of our stupid friends?" Mike sung facing the crowd and spinning Will around.

"If you kiss me, will it be just like I dreamed it? Will it patch your broken wings? Im only seventeen, I don't know anything but I know I missed you." Mike continued, dragging Will down center stage.

1. fnf - oh my god i cant believe theyre singing abt five nights at freddys… this song is genuinely so good though; it makes me feel the same joy as i cant stop or the view does upon first listen. its emotional but its danceable, its got everything.

2. collision - THIS SONG WASNT EVEN RLLY ON MY RADAR AS A POTENTIAL FAVORITE?? (talk abt a collision haha!!) but dare i say it is actually my favorite?? (edit: its actually my second favorite) its a really fun track; this is one i would hope would get a dance tbh bcuz i think itd look really cool

3. topline - this song is such an ear worm its been stuck in my head before it even came out; it simultaneously serves cunt and bad ass at the same time; tiger jks verse eats. love the vocals in it too, and the BOM DIGGY DIGGY BOM BOM BOM BOM. its a rlly fun enjoyable song def gonna be on my list of faves

3. youtiful - i thought it was gonna be cringe which it kinda is but its also heartwarming and a bit sad. it would probably rank a bit higher if it didnt have some tough competition but ‘the universe in ur eyes’??? UGH IM BASHING MY HEAD INTO A WALL SCREAMING OK ITS CHEESY BUT ITS ALSO GREAT. our first tie because in making this these two kept switching ranks over and over

4. DLC - ok dlc standing for dance like crazy is so cute. this song makes me wanna just vibe and have a great time; just dont listen to the lyrics they make me a bit sad just a little bit. also the pre chorus whisper with a harmony right underneath? YES PLZ. eating this for breakfast this is so good

5. hall of fame - WOAH! early on i was like oh its nice but maybe not my fave until the kinda tron-ish break down before the chorus its kinda hypnotic—ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND made me giggle lol—the instrumental of this song is v interesting i like it a lot (this was actually below #6 for a hot second before i made a last minute call)

6. superbowl - you whisper in a song and thats it for me it kills me sorry!! someone said this is god menu pt 2 and it is its so good (i dont care that the lyrics are goofy i love it) this ones rank was shakey until the end that rlly sold it for me. noticing a trend of rlly strong outros on this album

6. get lit - i rlly struggled with this and superbowls ranks so theyre getting the same rank. skz knows how to make an amazing party song fr. i love a lil edm moment i wish they would do even more like side effects level breakdown

7. s-class - okay this song is a bit all over the place but kind of in a way that fucks; like its a mess in a way that if would blow my mind to play a shooter too! i do love IN’s breakdown he gets i LOOOOVE his voice. also the last bit before the end starting at like 2:35 to the end kinda reminds me of og skz in a way i rlly enjoy
