New drawing prompt! Draw your MC at their worst. By the (bad) end of the game who are they.
Who/how are they before they become a husk of themselves or die? What Li (directly or indirectly) do you think caused it and how? What does your Mc look like when they realize its truly the end, with no way to go back. That Eridia did change them, just not the change they were looking for.
Then draw that! ;]
#touchstarved game#touchstarved prompts#touchstarved#idk guys#as an idea this sounds cool#to me#but you guys tell me#i do think you could get some divine looking drawing of your Mc#there are the obvious options#but i think ppl could get creative#the full game isn't out so for all we know anything is possible

Part 2 of this (diavolo & lucifer being very gay in canon) because I ran out of space in the first one
1. The entire Devildom thinks Diavolo & Lucifer are dating/in love;
2. It just sounds cute okay
3. Diavolo apparently notices when Lucifer's pupil dilates by 2mm đ
4. Diavolo probably has a 500pg book about how great Lucifer is
5. Remember how much Diavolo gushed about Lucifer's butler uniform, took a lot of pictures of it etc? Apparently he saved that uniform or had a new one made, then took the first chance he saw
6. Cottagecore?
7. Diavolo finds Lucifer sneezing cuteđŹ
8. Diavolo prioritises Lucifer over everything, even his own kingdom & the way Simeon keeps poking at it & Diavolo keep avoiding directly answering him + Simeon later teases Lucifer about Diavolo liking him in S3đ
9. The snow sculpture which looked incredibly realistic and had absolutely nothing to do with Christmas
Can't have more screenshots so here's some important conversation word for word:
10. Diavolo, after meeting Lucifer for the first time, Lucifer tries his best to act like an ass to make Diavolo hate him but Diavolo still treats him kindly. Lucifer despises Diavolo at the moment because he's a Demon who according to Lucifer & the Celestial Realm can't even have a "well-ordered society". Diavolo somehow in a single night manages to form a crack in Lucifer's prejudices & make him doubt his Father who he holds in very high esteem. Diavolo also uses chess to prove his point about creating peace and a balance between the three worlds. This is the conversation that follows:
Lucifer (an angel): I see. ...Diavolo. Your strategy truly is fascinating. Do you think we could get together sometime? I'd like to learn more about it.
Diavolo: Are you talking about chess now? Or the nature of our relationship?
Lucifer: Heh...
^The ambiguity Lucifer uses when talking gives that old queer feeling of: Our relationship (whatever it may be) is very forbidden and anyone catching wind of it will be bad so for plausible deniability I'm going to tie the true meaning of this conversation to something more innocuous
11. Conversation they have after this^ flashback/particular conversation:
Diavolo: ...That's when you finally held out your hand to me, and we shook. The way you radiated charm as you smiled at me. I still remember it like it was yesterday. When I saw the look on your face I was convinced. You were fair and righteous, someone who would be able to lend an ear to anyone, to listen to what they had to say. Someone who had a truly beautiful spirit.
In other words Diavolo has the worst case of rose-tinted glasses, specially considering Lucifer was choking Mammon & trying to rip his arm of while Diavolo said all this.
12. Diavolo (in demon form): Back when he was an angel, he was so divine, so awe-inspiring that it was intimidating. But now he's attractive in a different sort of way. He draws your eye toward him and then doesn't let go. He truly is worthy of the moniker "Morning Star"! Even steeped in the darkness of the Devildom, he shines just as brilliantly as ever!
Lucifer (in demon form), blushing: ...Diavolo, could we change the subject, please?
Lucifer (in demon form): I've told you that it embarrasses me when you shower me with such excessive praise in public.
Diavolo (in demon form): Afterall you're already beautiful enough as it is!
a.) This is Gomez Addams level of devoted jfc
b ) Diavolo was straight up reciting poetry at one point
c.)......What's with "in public"....so it's fine in private?
d.) Diavolo gushing about Lucifer has the same energy as Mammon gushing about MC
e.) What do I have to do for someone to be this in to me?
13. Diavolo has multiple copies of Lucifer in a swimsuit saved in different places (not the swimsuit he wears around MC & his brothers btw but the one he wears around Diavolo which is actually just trunks and & an open hoodie/shirt)
14. Diavolo might actually have a whole file of rare pictures of Lucifer? He's got the butler ones, the swimsuit ones and the candid glasses one that he threatened some poor guy to delete after saving a copy for himself
15. The ship in a bottle that Diavolo gave Lucifer, that he loves so much he keeps it in a place where he can always see it
16. Lucifer: No, that scream was far too vile to have come from Diavolo.
....so you know what he sounds like when he screams and you think it sounds good...?đ€š
17. Diavolo gives a flustered Lucifer a piggyback ride around RAD

What would be Keoanai's reaction to MC proposing to them with a serenade?
Keoanai, my love divine/ With you, my heart will always shine/Like the rhythm of a perfect beat/ Our love will never know defeat.
In your eyes, I see my soul/ And with you, my heart feels whole/ Like the melody of a sweet refrain/ Our love will always remain.
With you, my heart will always sing/ As we dance to love's sweet rhythm ring/ For you are the music of my life/ Keoanai, my love, will you be my spouse?
On another note, what would be their ideal way of proposing and being proposed to?
Ohhh this is so cute I'm going to answer it for all the ROs, I hope you don't mind! (All of these are for ROs who've been in a long-term relationship with the MC, since I assume we're not up and proposing out of nowhere đ)
Keoanai: Is confused at first - they love MC's voice, but why are they singing about them? As they process MC's words a swirl of emotions rises in them: affection at how cute they are, surprise at the sincerity of the words, an urgent need to reach out and touch them, to express the same love back to MC. They aren't good with words, but gods, they hope they can show MC how much they care.
When the last line hits them their lips part slightly in shock. It takes a long moment for them to respond, standing there blinking while poor MC waits.
Eventually a small smile finds Keoanai's face. They'd half-forgotten human marriage rituals exist. Their own parents certainly were never married, and it's not something they'd ever thought possible for themself.
Out loud, they say "Of course," still smiling, and draw MC in for a kiss. If MC wants a ceremony Keo's happy to oblige. But really, they'd known they'd be with MC forever from the start.
---
Wren: Listens attentively, stopping everything they're doing and watching MC with the warmest smile. They memorize the words as MC says them and silently marvel at their luck in having such a wonderful partner. They'd all but given up on romance by the time they'd come to Leas and then somehow, one assassin and a dashing rescue later here they are, being serenaded. It's funny how things work out.
Gods, they think, I hope they'll say yes when I ask them to marry me. They'd called in a favor to clear out the city's observatory for the occasion. Just the two of them, stargazing. They think MC will like it.
And then the last line is sung and Wren realizes MC's beat them to it. Wren almost wants to laugh at the irony but they're too busy sweeping MC into the biggest hug and telling them Yes, Absolutely, When does MC want to have the wedding?
---
Rin: "What the heck are you doing?" they ask as MC starts to sing, a reluctant smile breaking out on their face as they roll their eyes. They shift forward in their seat, planting their hand on their chin and watching MC with amusement. Their expression changes as MC goes on, shifting to something more vulnerable, more serious. Almost hesitant.
"You... You're serious?" Rin asks, swallowing hard. "You really feel that way? About all that stuff you said." When MC nods Rin runs a hand over their mouth, looking away for a moment.
"Come here," they say, standing up. "Please." When MC obliges Rin pulls them into a long, slow kiss. They try to ignore the voice in their head telling them this is all some kind of mistake, that nothing this good could possibly happen, and focus on the feeling of MC's skin on theirs. When they pull back, something occurs to them.
"Wait," they say, eyebrows shooting upward. "Did you just ask me to marry you?"
---
Thank you for your ask Anon! That was beautifully written and I feel absolutely spoiled to get to read it!!âŁïžđïżœïżœđ

â THE PAIN OF TENDERNESS IS A WOUND OF LOVE.
"in lemurian," rafayel starts, thumb tracing seemingly aimless lines along the back of your palm, "another word for love is derived from the word give."
cw: spoiler for chapter 8-9 of rafayel's "sea of golden sands" myth & "fragrant dream" tender moments ; fluff !!! ; very slight angst ; lemuria lore headcanons ; mentions of god of the sea! + abysswalker! rafayel ; the sea god's bride (spoilers: past life mc/reader) is mentioned so it can be implied that the reader is fem aligned (but the fic itself is written with a gn!reader in mind !)
when RAFAYEL had invited you to a museum exhibition, brandishing two tickets that read âTALES FROM THE DEEP SEA: LEMURIAâ between his fingers, you had admittedly worried for him; how unsettling must it be, seeing the ruins of your home displayed in a glass case?
... but for now, rafayel seems fine, with your hand in his, as the two of you stare into a display case. a deteriorated marble stele lies inside, yet even in its current state, you can't help but think that there is something beautiful about it. rafayel zeroed in on the slab the moment the two of you walked into this section of the exhibit, and (before you could look at the other shiny items in the display cabinets) he'd dragged you up and towards it. his free hand comes up to gently graze against the glass, indigo-pink eyes holding that familiar far-away gaze. with no hope of reading the engravings on your own, your gaze instead shifts to the museum label:
THE DIVINE BALLAD Marble marriage stele Reportedly excavated at an unknown island located near Lemuria's ruins As observed in many civilisations around the world, the Lemurians too, recorded joyous ceremonies by means of writing on stone. The inscription upon this stele details the marriage of the Lemurian God of the Sea and his human bride in the form of a ballad, perhaps sung during the celebration of this marriage. Although too eroded to be fully transcribed and translated, what we know of the Lemurian language alludes to a great and sweet love between the divine couple.
lemurian is practically a dead language, so you're not too surprised with being met with nothing. you can't help the sigh that leaves you; "there's no translation..."
âwith the way they handled it, there's not much left to read.â rafayel clicks his tongue, huffs. his frustration is warranted, given how many of the artifacts you've seen so far have suffered more damage due to past excavation and transportation processes (as admitted by the museum staff.) "... and what little they could get would be translated wrong."Â
âmind telling me what it says?â
âlike the label says, it's a marriage stele.â his eyes look to the museum plaque, to the slab, and then meet your own. the frustration in his eyes melt away the longer you hold his gaze; "i can tell you all about it later, but for now..." he draws you nearer, hand never letting go of yours, and points at a specific set of faded characters along the engravings.
"in lemurian," rafayel starts, thumb tracing seemingly aimless lines along the back of your palm. "there is a word for love that is derived from the word give. they're not wrong when they call it a 'great and sweet love' or whatever, but it's more than that." you notice the slight pout forming on his lips and seeping into his tone, think it's terribly endearing. "there's no real way to translate it properly, i think, although some languages do get pretty close.â
you hum, consider his words, what little rafayel has told you about this sea god, and look back at the plaque, "i guess the best way to describe it is ... he loved her so profoundly he was willing to give her everything?"
rafayel is a tad quieter, then: "yeah, something like that."
( is it any wonder that the god of the sea gave everything that he ever was âhis heart, his domainâ to his beloved, when all he has ever known was that to love and to give could be said in the same breath? his elders could judge him, damn him to the abyssal rift for what he'd done to them and their divine ocean, but they had doomed him first by teaching him that love and devotion were one and the same. )
you stare at the characters, trace the loops and hard edges of the letters with your eyes, before breaking the silence that had settled between you two: "can you teach me one day?"
"what, lemurian?" he looks up at you, eyebrow raised. you nod, and he's prompted to continue, "wouldn't it be more useful to learn, i don't know, anything else? a language that'd be more useful when we travel, maybe?"
"you know how to speak enough languages for the both of us." you smile, take both his hands in yours, cheeks growing warm from the words that begin to slip from your lips, "... i just think i'd understand you better if i learnt it."
( you know it's what he resorts to when the words won't come any other way. he whispers and mutters to himself, hushed words against your skin that you don't understandâall you know is that his tone is reverent, filled with love and a longing fulfilled. perhaps only an old language can hold the centuries worth of waiting he has endured. )
rafayel stills, blinks, looks at you like you've told him something incredibly profound. there's a beat, and suddenly he's chuckling, his hand leaving your grasp to gently cup your cheek as you have his many times before; "god, you're adorable." he leans in to press butterfly kisses along your temple, "yeah, sure, i'll teach you. we can start tomorrow if you want."
you can't help the way you beam up at him then (that toothy grin always gets his heart rushing, a million and more words for 'cute' flooding his mind at the sight), and your own hand comes up on top of his. "i'm looking forward to it."
"of course." rafayel grins, starting to lead the both of you away to the next display. "we can start with what's on this slate." and you let him lead you, your hand in his, his thumb draws the same lines onto your skin. ( you learn, later, that it's how you write that wordâa love that is the same as to giveâwith a rafayel that chuckles at your flustered form. )
( and perhaps, in the far off future, you remember the words he teaches you. feel them on the tip of your tongue, in the back of your mind, in a time long lost. the latin "desire" cannot compare to the lemurian "devotion." you place his dagger to your chest: i want to giveâi love you. he replies, dooms himself: i give you lifeâi love you too. )
a/n : happy birthday to rafa, my cutest little fish đ!!! i've devoted many of my mortal possessions & a lot of my brain power to u <\3 this fic is a lil rough but i just. brainrotted too close to the sun.
for creative notes: obviously there is no actual lemurian script written in the game (only voiced in "journey seeker" and in the tome of the sea god in chapter 8 of rafayel's myth) but i was thinking about how in indonesian translations of the bible, the word for god's love is translated to "mengasihi," which can mean "give" and when used in a sentence it'd be like aku mengasihimu or "i give to you" ... and and just thinking about how every time rafayel has shown his love it is by giving or devoting something to you rather than "taking/desiring" something from you (love in english can be derived from / has the same roots in the latin word for "desire"); how you love him so much at the end of the myth that you are willing to give him the heart, but he loves you far too much too, and gives you life at the cost of his own â agape love. cries. sobs.

Hey! Could I please request asmo meeting an mc who has always worn black baggy clothing ever since arriving to devildom, like literally never showing what their body looks like, until one day where the a/c broke and it is super hot that mc comes out wearing short shorts and a crop top and is âïž please ?
Hey anon! I wasnât sure if you wanted this as an actual fic or headcanons, so I decided to do headcanons! This got fluffy so I hope that was okay (I really canât help it đ„șđ). Also, this turned a little bit into body positivity, so to my readers: love yourself and the skin that youâre in! Hope you enjoy!
Warning: itâs gets a little spicy towards the end, but no NSFW acts or NSFW in general is mentioned
Asmo with Hourglass Shaped!MC
So Asmo loves you regardless of whatever shape you are, we all know that
But he wished that you would let him play fashion designer with you! You only wore these dark and dreary clothes all the time, and he was absolutely positive that you would look just divine in some of his suggestions for you. Plus, it was nothing wrong with showing just a little bit of skin, he would know
He just knew that you were hiding something delicious underneath your clothes, and he would try to convince you to just let him have a little taste, a little sneak peek (but would never go on to the point of making you uncomfortable). He was dying to see you in something new (really he was dying to see your body in all of its glory, but heâll take what he get), and the opportunity finally presented itself
After someone broke the house air conditioner (ie. Mammon and Levi), the temperature skyrocketed. The saying, âitâs hot as Hellâ stayed true to its words. While the brothers were somewhat used to the heat (yâknow, being demons and living in Hell and all), even it was starting to get a little uncomfortable for them
Asmo was already whining about his beautiful skin practically melting away at this point, and decided that he needed to complain to someone who can truly relate to his struggles and listen (ie. You)
Plus Lucifer was ready to just string him up with his other brothers if he uttered one more word
But luckily, he didnât have to stray far, as he heard you descending down the stairs. âMC, can you believe what the heat is doing to my pores-â
He choked
Your legs were showing
Your stomach wasnât covered
Your skin was actually showing
Oh my Diavolo, you were already attractive before, but this...oh my
Crop top and short shorts?? You were going to make him snap, MC.
Your thangs were thangin respectfully
The longer he took in your form, the more he felt himself losing control. Now Asmo is far from an animal, being one of the brothers that could actually control themselves when needed be. But he just wanted to devour you whole-
âAsmo, you okay? Earth to Asmo?â
âWhy darling, why have you been hiding this from me so long?! But I canât deny, this was more than worth the wait, I just wish this happened in my room, with you undress-â
âAsmo, no. Itâs way too hot to be doing any of that.â
âBut dear, I can easily find a way to cool you off. Especially now that you gifted me with this appetizing sight. You look just gorgeous MC. We have to take pictures to commemorate this moment! Can you imagine how quick weâll be trending on Devilgram?!-â
âNo way.â
âBut whyyyyyy?â
âBecause...itâs nothing. I just donât think I should. Itâs just my body, nothing special.â
NOTHING SPECIAL?!
WHERE YOU TWO LOOKING AT THE SAME THING???
It wasnât that you necessarily hated yourself, but you didnât want people to just like you because of how you look. You can admit that your body was looking pretty good, but you didnât want to be ogled at like a piece of meat. It was bad enough in the human world , and you definitely didnât want to risk it here around demons who were already hungry for humans
He was shocked. First you hid this treasure from him and the world (but mainly him) without any reason, and the way you were adamant about not taking any type of photos was mind boggling to him. You are STUNNING, MC. He can see that, his brothers can see it, so why canât you?
Your shape is just far too enticing to hide anymore. And he was going to convince you of that. He took your hand and rushed to his room, making sure to close the door to keep any prying eyes away
He took your hands into his, looked into your eyes, and flashed you the most gentle smile to ever grace his face
âMC, donât tell me that youâre ashamed of your body. You have no reason to be. You radiate so much beauty inside and out, it can be such a blinding sight. Youâre beyond special, so let me show you just how special you are.â
He started to pepper kisses all on your face: on your cheeks, eyelashes, nose, lips, anywhere that his lips could catch. While doing so, he rubbed softly on your body, drawing random shapes on your hips, even moving to rub at your stomach. You quietly giggled at all of these sensations, trying to push him away tenderly, but he stayed put. Asmo was obviously quite the romantic, but you also been around long enough to know when he wasnât putting on an act. Right now he wasnât Asmodeus, the Avatar of Lust. Right now, he was Asmo, the brother who only wanted to be shown and given true love
You donât know how long you two stayed like that in his room, but neither of you cared. Asmo finally got his wish to see your body (and man was he even more enamored with you now), and was he not disappointed one bit (not that he would ever be with you). You even went out of your way to take some of his suggestions (and I say this very lightly, as we know how Asmoâs âsuggestionsâ can vary) and include them in your wardrobe
Either way, he was beyond happy, and he could tell that the new stylish choices and his pep talk kinda helped you too
Cause now he can do impromptu fashion shows (albeit in the comfort of his room) and admire your shape all in one! Itâs a win win!
However, now that you were coming out of your shell more, and you didnât show any discomfort towards him, he was definitely ready to show you why he has the title of the Avatar of Lust, and rightfully so

Summary: Sometimes you just wanted to have a nice day out with all of your boyfriends. You had the brilliant idea to go out for a picnic and enjoy some time away from the usual busy life you all lived. The brothers decided to indulge your wish, so into the equivalent of the Devildom countryside you go.
There was a lot of walking involved with picnics. You had never realized before how much walking really went into getting away from civilization. Not even a city, just some form of civilization. Then again, you had never seen the countryside in the Devildom before, so it wasn't fair to expect yourself to know that information beforehand. Well, maybe you should have, considering the human realm wasn't that different.
You had been left in charge of carrying the blanket, even after insisting you could carry something else. The brothers refused to let you, sitting that the baskets (yes, multiple) were heavy because they had to bring enough for eight people (one of which was Beel and his bottomless stomach) and one was full of dishes. They were objectively stronger than you, so there was no reason to have you exercise your limited human strength. The only brother not in charge of carrying a basket was Belphegor, who they worried would fall asleep on the spot if he had to use too much energy. Even Beel was allowed a basket of food in addition to the one for dishes (granted, it was one that had specifically been made so that he could eat it while walking because you all knew that was going to happen, but still).
The choice not to burden Belphie quickly proved to be a smart one, because he was soon yawning as he walked and you worried he would start literally sleeping walking.
You held the blanket against you in much the same way he did his pillow and went up to him, "Are you going to be okay?"
"Jus' tired..." His words slurred together, showing just how true that statement was.
"Yeah, this walk is pretty exhausting." At least one person agreed with you. Everyone else seemed to be doing just fine. It almost made you angry because that meant they had been right about you carrying extra weight and how it would have been taxing on you. Stupid correct logic, "Hey? After we all eat, would you like to take a nap?"
The look he gave you told you that was a definite yes, but he clearly missed your intentions.
"I meant, would you like to take a nap with me? Maybe I can let you use my lap as a pillow?" You knew how much he enjoyed doing that, and you did too.
His eyes turned to you and a little "Mhm" left him. He could never turn down a chance to take a nap with you.
Still, he looked tired enough that you worried about him, so you reached out your hand to hold his and make sure that he wouldn't wander away if he did start sleepwalking. He gladly entwined his fingers with your own as you both walked along.
You both stayed like that until Lucifer spoke up, "This is our destination."
Your attention shifted, looking out ahead of you rather than on making sure Belphie was still awake. All you could do was stare in awe. It is so powerful that you find yourself letting go of the youngest brother's hand and stepping forward to get a better look at what lies before you.
The Devildom countryside was nothing like what you expected. You weren't sure what it was you expected, but it wasn't flowers. Actual flowers! Not that you recognized whatever type of flora they were, but here they were. The scene of the meadow against the pale red sky was hauntingly beautiful and all you could think of was enacting the scene straight out of a movie where you frolicked in the field. You looked at the brothers with wide eyes, begging to be allowed to go enact your plan.
Lucifer nodded, "They're safe for humans." He held out his hand to take the blanket from you, which you gladly let him.
With a twinkle in your eyes, you ran away from them and toward the field of flowers, immediately feeling how the petals softly brushed against your exposed legs. Upon closer inspection, something about them reminded you of multicolored spider flowers dripping with morning dew and dandelions with exaggeratedly large puffs. As you danced through the meadow, the dandelion puffs broke free from their stems and floated off into the sky. You stared in wonder as they flew in the wind and were carried off somewhere far away. It was moments like these where it was the clearest that the human realm and the Devildom had many similarities you never had time to think about.
The brothers watched you from the place you had split off from them, seeing how you enjoyed your first exposure to wild Devildom flowers. Your blue sundress fluttered in the same wind that carried away the puffs, making you stand out against the brilliant sky behind you. Each of them found it hard to look away and help set up the picnic like they had planned. The contrast in color made you look like a painting.
Satan paused from helping lay down the blanket to watch the wonder unfold on your face. He looked over to his next youngest brother, "Asmo, you helped her pick the outfit for today, didn't you?"
"Only the parts you can see." But those parts were still divine, "She insisted the rest of it be a surprise."
"You did well." He added before going back to helping spread the blanket.
Everyone else nodded in agreement. It was a simple outfit, but it gave them all terrible ideas about what to do with you. How else was a demon supposed to react to seeing such an innocent-looking human other than wanting to corrupt them?
"Can someone set out the food?" Beel wanted to do it himself, but he knew he was likely to eat it before anyone else could enjoy it.
Belphegor looked at him in sympathy, feeling how hungry his twin was in his own stomach, "We need to finish setting up first." He wanted to sleep though. The walk over had been exhausting and it was hitting him the hardest, "You should go check on her." He suggested, since keeping Beel away from the food was the smartest option.
"Huh? Why does he get to be the one to check on her?" Mammon burst into the conversation, "I mean- Ya should leave that kinda stuff to yer big brother. No reason ya gotta go out of yer way."
"Lmao. You're dating her and you still act like a tsun." The third-born couldn't help but laugh at how much of a trope his brother was.
He placed his hands on his hips, "Shad'up. No one understands that otaku talk of yers anyway."
"Then why are you so offended?" Levi mocked, not missing the fact that his brother clearly understood the jab well enough to know it was insulting.
"Enough." Lucifer ended the conversation before their bickering could draw your attention, "Unless one of you wants to play guard between Beel and the food, I think letting him go is the best option."
They looked at each other, knowing neither of them wanted that particular responsibility. Levi turned back to his job dejectedly while Mammon grumbled a "whatever" under his breath.
Belphie gave Beel a sly smile, knowing exactly what he had done. The redhead gave him a grateful nod before looking out to where you were now sitting among the flowers and walking toward you. He found you stroking the petals of the flowers, trying to understand how they felt soft to the touch even though they grew in a harsh environment. He sat beside you, drawing your attention to him instead.
"Oh, Beel." You pulled away from the petals and leaned against his towering frame, "Am I taking too long?"
"No." His gaze drifted down to you, seeing how peaceful your face was looking out across the field, "They're almost done getting everything ready."
You balk at his words, "Done? I didn't even help."
"Well, you looked like you were having fun. None of us wanted to bother you."
"But I should still help." You felt bad that you had left them to do all the work when you were the one that suggested a picnic in the first place.
"No one minds." They loved watching you enjoy yourself so freely. It had quickly become something akin to a hobby to them.
"I mind." It made you feel lazy to not help them set everything up. This was a relationship, so you should contribute to it as much as they did.
He didn't really know how to comment on that without undermining your feelings. It was clear you were upset about being allowed to walk away without contributing anything. You probably shouldn't have assumed they would wait for you to come back to set up, this was their date too, after all.
He couldn't think of anything to say to you, especially with your face as sour as it was. Instead of trying to use words, he reached out for a flower and plucked it from the ground. With a smile in his eyes, he placed it behind your ear.
"Watching you is nice." He gently stroked your cheek with the back of his fingers as he lowered his hand again, "Seeing you happy is the best part of a date."
The heat that rose in your body and up your face felt like it would cook you alive. You buried yourself into his shirt to hide the giddy, embarrassed smile that you were now wearing, "You can't just say stuff like that."
"Why not? Did I say something wrong?" The worry in his voice was saddening.
"Never." You shake your head and sit up ever so slightly so you can place a peck against his cheek, "Do you think they're done?"
His hand moved to his stomach, realizing for the first time since he joined you just how hungry he really was, "I hope so."
"Well then," you raise to standing and brush the dirt and pollen from your dress, "Shall we go back now?"
Nodding once again, he shifts in his spot so he can stand up. However, as he gets to his knees, he stops and looks up at you. His arms open wide And you know exactly what he's thinking about. With a shy smirk, you fall into his arms, sitting awkwardly on his bicep and trying to balance yourself.
Beel places his other hand against your knees to keep you steady as he stands up and lifts you straight into the sky. You giggle widely as you raise higher and higher, seeing how more of the area unfolds before you with height. Now you can see how the sea of colors you were just sitting in weaves together and how far it seems to stretch out.
Your eyes widen in awe, "It's amazing..." You can't really explain how beautiful the meadow is. It's not like the ones in the human realm that look delicate and fair. No. This one looks dangerous, those dew stricken petals reaching out to link each flower to its neighbor.
"You like it?"
"I love it." You couldn't imagine seeing this in the human realm. The flowers were just too unique.
"Whaddya think yer doing over there?"
You both turn to look toward Mammon, who is yelling at you from where the picnic has been fully set up. Clearly, he isn't a fan of being left out from a single intimate moment.
"I think that's our cue." You tell him, looking down but holding on tightly.
"Uhn." He turns on his heels, carefully keeping you perched on his arm and listening to you laugh at the unusual way to travel.
As you near everyone else, you both get a few looks of confusion, some of jealousy, and one from Belphie that lets you know that whatever just happened was all according to his plans. Of course, it was. The youngest brother couldn't go a day without planning something. At least it wasn't nefarious this time.
"I'm glad you both decided to join us." Lucifer said, glance drifting from Beel you, "Do you need help getting down?"
You debate for a moment of you can get down by yourself. You figure Beel would set you down if you asked, but that's not as fun as having to make Lucifer reach up to you for once, "Please?"
Stepping forward, the eldest brother places his hands against your waist and slowly lifts you back to the ground. As your feet touch the dirt below, he notices the flower in your hair, placing a gloved hand under your chin and lifting your head so he can get a better look at it.
"Yes?" You ask, wondering what he could be thinking about.
"Nothing." He bends down at the waist and presses his lips against yours, his tongue quickly assaulting your own and making your head swim before pulling away, "You look beautiful."
The haze is short-lived as he pulls away and you can only admonish him, "Lucifer! This is a group date. None of that." Quick kisses and pecks were one thing, but trying to rile you up was off-limits.
The grin that crosses his face is fully aware of what he did, but uncaring because he got what he wanted, "Of course." Even if you complained, the goal was that he wouldn't be outdone by his younger brother in your eyes. Of course, some of the others saw through him, but the only opinion that mattered on the issue was yours.
Asmo took the opportunity to skip up to you from behind and wrap his arm around your own, "Sit next to me, Darling~" He tugged at you gently to try and lead you to a spot on the blanket.
Of course, he was the first one to actually ask you to sit with them. He had no compunctions over trying to get you to pick him first and foremost. He would respect your boundaries, but he still wanted you as much as everyone else.
"Gladly." You let him guide you to the blanket and sat down where he indicated. That still left your other side open though. You pay the spot next to you and looked up, "Levi? Will you join me?"
His orange eyes sparkled so much that it almost looked like he was going to cry. Why would you ever choose a disgusting otaku like him? That was probably what he was thinking. That was also exactly why you had to explicitly choose him. You loved him as much as the rest of his brothers, but he didn't seem to believe you. Every now and again, he needed a reminder that you had chosen him just as much as anyone else.
He gladly sat on your other side and the rest of the brothers fell into different places around the small banquet. Beel looked uncomfortable as he was forced to only look at the food in front of him. Belphie, ever the good brother, passed him an entire basket of food and told him to start with that while everyone else took the chance to grab from the pile in the middle. That basket lasted about as long as it took everyone to make their first plate.
"We brought wine if you would like." Satan held up the deep red, unopened bottle for you to see.
You looked at him skeptically, "Didn't we learn that I can't handle that stuff already?" That was kind of how this entire mess started in the first place. Not that you regretted it in the long run, even if it was a nightmare to deal with at the time.
He shook his head, "This is from the human realm. At least, I assume you have some tolerance for it." Although, none of the brothers would mind another incident like the one from that night. In retrospect, some of them found the memory endearing and were mildly curious how much further it could go now that you weren't confused about your feelings anymore.
But... this wine wouldn't do that to you, "Please pour a glass." It really was the ideal of a picnic date. Not that anything about this date was traditional, but it was definitely your ideal. There was nothing better than just getting to spend a day with your boyfriends and enjoying each of them. They really did find ways to spoil you and make you so very happy that this was your life now.

đ°Chestnuts and Warm Milkđ
My List of ~Favorites~ for Interactive Fiction and Visual Novels
(This is a work in progress so please bear with me)
Interactive Fiction:
The Wayhaven Chronicles (WIP Series in Development) - @seraphinitegames (Look,,, Iâm just... obsessed.. I canât stop thinking abt it,,, and I'm..... sometimes, I read and I think I feel like I know what love is.)
Mind Blind (WIP) - @mindblindbard (I just,, UGH itâs so good. I can't even say that much because my feelings about it are so potent that everytime I see an update I try to tell myself to leave it alone to play larger portions of updates as a treat and everytime my willpower FAILS and I replay the demo like twice in a row)
Demon: Recollect ; Forsaken (WIP) - both by @bathalafiction (whew...WHEW!!! Are you kidding me?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Look. I was attached to Demon: Recollect. I loved it. And then I played the Forsaken WIP and now I can't get over my absolutely BOMB character design for my player persona. Also it's kind of fun being considered a jerk in the game, because it opens up a lot of different options that I usually feel bad about taking)
Shadow Society - @carawenfiction (the concept is so interesting,, I dream of more. Also Quaiel...baby...)
The Soul Stone War - @intimidatingpuffinstudios (also whew!! I really enjoyed it and the characters all picture themselves really vividly in my mind for some reason.)
Greenwarden (WIP) - @fiddles-ifs (reading this is like thick fog.. but in a good way? I don't know how to describe it without pictures but this IF smells like fog over wet grass)
Divine Intervention (WIP) - @divineinterventiongame (the concept?? UGH SO GOOD. For some reason it's always the first game I click to check for updates)
Golden (WIP) - @milaswriting (đđđđ)
Blood/line (WIP) - @bloodlineoffical (simply put,,, LARRY)
Supernatural in New York ; The Bastard of Camelot (both WIPs) - @llamagirl28Â (UGH Both of these are so good in their own ways but equally as exciting to see updates for. I haven't consolidated my feelings much further than "my MC for SiNY is so cute" and "Mordred is a child" but they're all generally positive.)
Ace of Spades (WIP) - @steph-writing (I keep thinking about,,, con........)
Nevermoore (WIP) - @asteristories (AHHHHH.... let me say it again for those in the back: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)
Son of Satan: The Mortal Coil (WIP) - @sosthemortalcoil (YES.)
Shepherds of Haven (WIP) - @shepherds-of-haven (yes. I just have to sigh because it's very good and I like saying those funny little words of power. But also outside of the game I can only picture this game as a great, grey border collie)
Attollo (WIP) - @attollo (Also a very interesting concept, whoo... I almost forgot how immersive it was untill I played the demo again and was reminded of how 'into it' I was straight off the bat. Also the seperate, short little piece on the blog with Sysba was also really good and I had a dream about it the other day)
Into the Shadows (WIP) - @wynnakangâ (whooo.... I'm sighing again, but louder. I press restart and play the demo again)
A Comedy of Manors (WIP) - @sviyaginthegreat (I kept replaying options that I hadn't chosen before because I wanted there to be more lmao)
Fallen Hero: Rebirth - @fallen-hero (I think there's a sequel coming up? I haven't stopped thinking about this storyline since I finished it omg... the.. the details are really good and I've become ridiculously attached to my tragic villain? Character... she IS the standard for my reusable IF persona, or at least one of my most prominent ones ;-D )
Samurai of Hyuga (WIP series) - (I'm pretty sure multiplechoicestudios.com is the development blog for this game, or at least what I've been checking for updates..... this is a series with four book currently out.... and I've been playing through book 4 at slower than a snail's pace in a desperate attempt to prolong my experience. I really didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did but I got a little too into it and now I'm horribly attached to all the characters)
The Porthecrawl Witness(WIP) - @porthecrawl-witness (I'm pretty sure this is a WIP?? But ugh. SCREEEEEE- it's so good. It's SO GOOD. I really want to punch Talbot in the face. And Asher, if for a different reason. And sort of Staci just to try. Quinn is just a cutie I could never hurt him like that. Ugh but they're all so good and I forgot that I was reading a WIP untill it suddenly was over..... I'mfeeling really aggressive rn as I'm writing this, so please just note that the punch comment is meant as a statement on how interesting the concept and immersiveness of the characters and story is)
Forgotten Names (WIP) - by Alexandra_Zorila on the CoG Forum (turn the volume up. AHHHHHHHHHH!!! Look, look. It's..... delicious. It's SO interesting and I obsessively have a tab open on my computer to check for updates)
OFNA: Birds of a Feather (WIP) - @ofna (the vibes are so grey and smoky but the fog is definitely from a party smoke machine and the room is only dark because the walls are taped with those huge sheets of black construction paper that teachers use to cover their bulletin boards with... the game definitely falls in the 'dark and mysterious' genre but something just strikes me as really funny when I play it. Anyway it's good and it's in a lot if recommended lists for a reason. Also I'm very attached to my American Goldfinch)
More Things in Heaven and Earth (WIP) - @morethingsgame (in the same way that it's fun to play Guenevere in the Guenevere game or Mordred in The Bastard of Camelot, playing Ophelia in the sort-of Hamlet story is really fun. If anyone has read the Missing collection- which I absolutely love- by Margaret Peterson Haddix, this gives me similar vibes for some reason. Anyway, I really want to give Hamlet a hug and make him a flower crown or something)
A Tale of Crowns (WIP) - @ataleofcrowns (It's kind of not even funny how much I love this game... It's hard to even describe why I like it, just that it's so well rounded in terms of the story, characters, dialogue, and relationships. It's such an interesting plotline and it's pretty immersive. Also the first time I read the demo, there was an update as I was reading and the high that sent me on has very rarely been matched. Also Dara running to save my Crown in the tunnel?? đ€đ©đ€đ ugh. UGH!! That's good food for my fool heart)
Scout: An Apocalypse Story (WIP)- @anya-dev (I'm usually not that into apocalypse themes/plots but I really enjoyed this game, and the plot was very good and intruiging... it really pulled me in and I like my character in the story a lot. I don't know why but it tastes like chikuwa, atsuage, and this specific type of carmelized onions that my mom makes sometimes)
Nothing left to burn (WIP)- @clowdee-works (......ouch. I *knew* what was going to happen and I STILL became attached to Drew)
Smoke and Velvet - @roast-ifs (It's good. And I am VEDY much into my character design. Also the story is really interesting, and I enjoy the setting a lot somehow)
Speaker (WIP)- @speakergame (very fun to play, and each update gets me more interested in the aspects of the plot. I also really like the little descriptions of what the characters think of the player)
The Nameless (WIP)- @parkerlyn (interesting plot, I like the characters a lot, and The aesthetics of this world are so interesting. Definitely had a good time visualizing what everything looked like)
Fields of Asphodel (WIP) - @asphodelgame (I think it's really cute so far!!! I like mythology in general, and the persephone/hades dynamic is *mwah!*... I like the way the story progresses in the beginning, and I think it works well in drawing the reader into the world. I also very much enjoy petting large dogs.)
...there are so much more.. and I have followed so many blogs.........
I'm not sure why I can't find it rn but there's this one WIP game that I really like where the MC buys a manor for like dollar and moves to go live there with her best friend and shenanigans ensue as they try to settle in and fix up the estate
Harbringer (WIP) - @harbringercog (....are you KIDDING me?? I was fully planning on just enjoying the demo and keeping a mental note to update the list sometime later,,, but this game... THIS GAME really made me fold. It's very immersive and regardless of how nervous the author claims to be after releasing the demo, it's of my humble opinion that those nerves can be calmed. It's very good. I was planning on procrastinating and reading a little bit and then going back to this essay I need to write, but somehow I got pulled in and ended up reading through the whole demo and it's apparent that I honestly had no chance of getting through this without becoming invested in the plot.... just... so good.. I'm very excited to see how this will progress)
Visual Novels:
Andromeda 6 (WIP) - @andromeda-sixâ (I repeat: Obsessed, I come back every few months to see an update and I fall deeper into the hole every time...)
To the Edge of the Sky (WIP,, probably) - by AjanĂ© (??) on Steam (I think, itâs been a while)
Next on my list to check out: Perfumare by pdrrook
Does.... does The Arcana game by Nix Hydra count as VN?? If so, then yes.
Similarly, the FictIF games are all entertaining, although Last Legacy and Heir to Love and Lies are my favorites rn (and.....unfinished....)
I also don't know if this counts, because I kind of consider Otome games to be their own genre, but on the Love 365: find your story by Voltage Inc. There are a bunch of fun stories, my favorite of which are: the Shinichi Kagari route on After School Affairs and the Saejima and Keiichiro routes on Bad Boys do it Better
..To be continued...

Taking the spotlight for Day 6... Lucirene!
Lucirene, author of An Angelâs Song
Latino Heritage Month Featured Author
In the forest of Bres an otherworldly sickness corrodes the soil and changes the creatures within. âA parting gift from the fallen angelsâ Â say the citizens of the Hyaku Region and the mark on your hand confirms it.
Though the scent travelling in the air is sweet and enticing everyone knows better than to get closer. But the mark, it pulses, it burns, the pain spreading as fast as the corruption of the forest does.
Your masters are calling, and it seems like this time you cannot escape them.

(INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT UNDER THE CUT!)
Q1: So, tell us a little bit about the projects youâre working on!
I have so many, but the only one public is An Angelâs Song. Itâs, more than anything, a story about grief, loneliness and overcoming it all while navigating a hostile environment and discovering long lost secrets about the Divine and about the MCâs country. That one is very cathartic for me to make because of the themes, I feel like Iâm working through a lot of feelings I didnât even realize I had by writing it.
The next one is also an IF and it focuses on comedy, adventure and character interaction. Itâs supposed to be more lighthearted, more fun, but knowing me⊠I donât know if itâll stay that way. Basically, it goes: A Captainâs boat falls prey to the storms and the strange creatures living under the sea, and they and their crew end up washing ashore an icy, snowy country. I already have the main cast written down and they have so much synergy, itâs amazing.
And the last one Iâll talk about (a traditional novel) actually happens in the same setting as my second IF, but many, many years before, when their local deity/guardian was born. Itâs more of a romance-fantasy than anything, a love story between a Goddess and a half-dragon, however it also showcases many of the situations the people had to navigate and face before their country could become the place youâll see in my second IF.
Q2: What excites you most about using interactive fiction? What are some of the biggest challenges?
What I like most definitely is how much freedom we have as authors. Of course, one is constrained by oneâs ability to code but I think, for the most part, we can do so many things, reach an entirely new level of immersion that would not be possible with a regular novel. Itâs amazing how sometimes Iâm reading something and get so into it, feel so connected to the MC I feel dread when they do, panic when they have to make a choice that will clearly impact a lot of people in their world. With IF you can really feel like youâre part of the story.
Another thing I like is being able to explore other paths with my writing. Like for example, what if the MC had done this instead of that? How would that have affected their relationships, their world state? Writing branches is a lot of work, especially because they could change so many things, but it feels oddly satisfying when you do decide to include them.Â
Challenges⊠Coding, mainly. I feel like a lot of new aspiring IF authors are a bit afraid of coding and I can understand that, especially since, had it not been for the help of the community, I would have taken way longer to actually start using Twine. Hopefully with time for resources come up and it becomes less daunting.
I donât know if any other author feels the same way but, though I think branching is a blessing, it is also a curse. I can only write the same conversation so many times, I mean I know Iâm writing it in different tones and sometimes with different results but it gets frustrating after a while because it feels like youâre stuck, like youâre not progressing at all.
Another one would definitely be finding a balance between reader interaction and just following your vision. Since itâs IF at times I feel like I have to meet a quota of branches or ways in which you can react, sometimes I also find it difficult to make the MC feel like a real person instead of a reader-insert. Iâm working on that.
Q3: What has been something in your project youâve had to do a weird amount of research for?
Thatâs a difficult one⊠I donât know if I would consider it weird but I do tend to investigate a lot about fashion, especially when designing the main outfits of the characters. I spend hours trying to find out what colors were used back then, what they meant, who was allowed to use them. I have this little image with some palettes for kimonos depending on the season.
I also spend too much time coming up with names, especially for places. Like I look up names of places that already exist, what they mean, I try to investigate if the words that I want to use make sense, then I panic because I canât find anything, but I think thatâs usual for writers. I also spent more time than necessary researching for the name of a tree that you will see way later in the book, which no one will probably notice what the name of the tree means or what it symbolizes but it makes me happy.
Honestly, I feel like the amount of research I have had to do has not been particularly weird? If anything at times I think I should research more, even if some aspects of Japanese culture will not apply to Kyou.
Q4: Which of your characters is most like you? How?
The initial version of the MC from An Angelâs Song, which I miss dearly since they had more personality. They were autistic coded too, and I hope some traces of that still remain. Apart from that I feel like all of the characters from the main cast share something with me, even if their experiences are, of course, more dramatic than my own.
A lot of them have issues with a paternal figure or an absent mother, which also resonates with me. Some of Saoriâs traits draw inspiration from ways in which I talked or acted before I became a little better at masking, before I became more self-aware. Hazuki being emotional and caring, K being a bit clingy but devoted, Masa having a temper yet loyal, Miwa being friendly but reluctant to open up beyond surface level information. I think those things describe me.
Thereâs also Rei but I donât think Iâm writing her book anytime soon. Sheâs someone thatâs very family oriented, sheâs a bit temperamental but she means well and sheâs not afraid to speak her mind. Now that I think about it, maybe Rei is more the person I want to become.
Q5: Does your heritage influence your characters as you create them? (How? Why or why not?)
Iâve been living in Venezuela my whole life so I think so, even if most of the time I donât even notice it. I believe that this happens especially in regards to relationships because people in Venezuela are very family oriented and also, from what Iâve experienced, they form strong bonds with their neighbors, which creates this strong sense of community âsometimes it goes well, sometimes it doesnât, but my mom and her friends always make at least some friends in their neighborhoods and they gossip with some coffee about the happenings of the restâ. So when it comes to writing a character it is very important to me to make an emphasis on family relationships because those are a strong part of my culture, of my identity.Â
In An Angelâs Song you have the main cast having issues or conflicting emotions about one or multiple members of their family, which influence their behavior and their outlook on life, but for the most part they are (or will be) able to form similar relationships with people that are not related to them, or to work towards restoring that relationship, transforming it into something healthier.Â
In my other books family dynamics are also immensely important. For example, Iâm going to mention Rei again because I love her. So, Rei has a sister named Rin, and they are both very close, even if they havenât spent much time together. Their bond and trust in each other helps them overcome a lot of obstacles and they rely on each other when they need support or encouragement. Rei also has other people that she thinks of as siblings, and restoring that relationship with them is one of her main goals. Thereâs also this recurring guilt she feels at leaving her birth family and her home to explore, because to her, families are supposed to stay together.
Another aspect that I think influences my writing is religion, even if I wasnât raised in a particularly religious household nor do I belong to any religion. Religion is a big deal in this country, we have so many events and holidays relating to religious figures. I remember when I was very young I loved going to one of the churches here because the Virgin of that town had a building filled with pretty clothes to dress her with.Â
So, in that vein, I try to think about the characterâs relationship with religion, do they believe in the Gods? Do they trust them? Do they follow local deities or prefer the main pantheon? How does this religion shape the way people interact with each other and the world? In regards to characters that are Venezuelan or Venezuelan-coded⊠I do have a few that are Venezuelan, but I donât think Iâm going to be releasing their stories soon, so Iâll keep it quiet for now.
Q6: What is something you love to see in interactive fiction?
People being passionate about their work! This isnât something exclusive to IF, but it is something that I love seeing. I also like seeing the different ways people innovate within the genre. I feel like sometimes, especially with newer writers, there is this idea that an IF has to subscribe to a specific format and thatâs simply not true. If you donât want to use a stat system you donât have to, if you want to add combat then go ahead, if you would prefer to write an MC thatâs already pretty pre-established (which is something that I personally want to try) then thereâs nothing stopping you and I encourage you to give it a go. IF is very versatile and itâs wrong to try and fit authors into a box, especially if they want to bring something new into our little corner of the internet.
Q7: Any advice to give?
In general, I advise people to have fun writing, to not worry so much about how good it is, about if people will like it. Writing, at the end of the day, ends up being a pretty solitary activity and having those thoughts in your head too long will make you spiral. Be kind to yourself, be open to feedback when it comes (and learn to distinguish constructive feedback from destructive feedback) and enjoy the exploration of your world and characters.Â
You are not alone in all of this. If you can, join a group of writers you can talk with, exchange ideas, get feedback from or just exchange memes (the ultimate bonding experience). Donât be afraid, youâre not alone.

Confessions
Book: Open Heart: Third Year Pairing: Ethan Ramsey x F!MC (Genevieve McClure) Word Count: 1399 Rating: G Category:Â fluff, hurt/comfort Trope(s): and they were in the office
Summary: MC has been feeling unsteady, and Ethan has finally noticed.Â
No Warnings
A/N:Â this turned into a post ch 4 (bk 3) fic. Because Iâm a little disappointed that PB didnât let us talk to Ethan about the weird shit he was doing with Harper. Also look at me, once again using a one word title, because I suck at titles and its 3 am and Iâm too tired to try to come up with something better.Â
The sun sets outside the floor to ceiling windows, casting the diagnostics office a dance of shadows and lights. Ethan gets up from the desk, walking over to shut off the fluorescent lights leaving the room in growing darkness. He rolls his neck as he returns to the desk, turning on the lamp on the wooden surface.Â
Heâs felt a migraine forming all afternoon, since Lelandâs bombshell that Ethanâs rival would now be joining his team. The sense that all control is steadily slipping through his fingers, growing by the day, by the hour it seems.Â
What was promised to be a democracy was now nothing but a dictatorship disguised in new equipment and pay raises.Â
Ethan closes his eyes, leaning back in the chair, desperately trying to cling onto the thoughts of the one good and stable thing he has left.Â
Genevieve.Â
âHow are you feeling?âÂ
A soft voice breaks through the silence, Ethan opening his eyes to see the very thing he was thinking of standing in the doorway. A pleasant warmth runs through him, heâs not a man that believes in fate, but there is something utterly divine in the way she appears at the very moment he needs her.Â
Genevieve walks to the desk, every step that brings her closer settling the anxiety and rage boiling inside him. She smiles sweetly at him, perching herself on his desk.
âLike Iâm slowly losing control.â Ethan sits up, a hand coming to rest on her knee, thumb tracing circles on her skin. âItâs bad enough we have to deal with Bloom, but now I have to contend with Tobias as his lapdog, as well.âÂ
âYou have me, though,â Her green eyes fill with warmth as she leans forward, holding his cheek delicately in her hand. âAnd Iâll always be on your side.âÂ
âI know. Iâm incredibly thankful for that, believe me.âÂ
They share a smile, that four letter word swirling around his head for the umpteenth time as they get lost in each other. Gen breaks the spell, hopping off the desk and settling in his lap. His arms come around her without a second thought, pulling her impossibly closer.Â
âHow can I help?â Her words are nothing more than a whisper as her fingers trace his jawline.Â
âThereâs nothing you can do, unfortunately.âÂ
âI can at least try and alleviate some stress. Itâs what girlfriends are for, after all.âÂ
The word girlfriend sparks something inside him, setting his heart into a rapid beat. They havenât discussed terms, which is mostly his fault. In the moments when he has Gen alone, he spends the time doing everything but talking. The need to make up for the months he had spent pushing her away taking precedence over defining what they are to each other. But he knows they need to have that talk soon, he can see her growing impatient and hesitant with each passing day.Â
Gen takes off his glasses, tossing them onto the desk. She threads her fingers in his hair, scratching lightly as she goes. He closes his eyes again, forehead coming to rest on her shoulder as her fingers continue to weave through his hair. Â
âI meant what I said at lunch, G. Just having you in the room makes me feel more at peace.âÂ
âShould I stop then?âÂ
âAbsolutely not.â He kisses the side of her neck, nuzzling sweetly. âI will take any and all forms of affection from you.âÂ
âQuite the difference from last year, Doctor âWe Need a Resetâ.âÂ
âWe all have a lapse in judgment from time to time.âÂ
âMhm.â He can feel her giggle, his arms tightening around her.Â
They settle into an easy quiet, drawing comfort from a shared space.Â
As much as he wants to get lost in her touch, he canât help but fall back to the thoughts of Genâs newfound uncertainty. Ethanâs half sure it has something to do with him, but he hopes more than anything that itâs not. Praying instead that it all falls to the new easy comradery of the team and the ever growing changes their employer makes.Â
He wants nothing more than for Genevieve to confide in him, lean on him in the same way he leans on her.Â
âAre you going to tell me whatâs been bothering you lately?âÂ
âItâs not important anymore.âÂ
âI beg to differ, Gen.â He presses a kiss to her shoulder before lifting his head to look at her. âYouâve been tossing and turning every night for a week. Something is wrong.âÂ
âI donât want to ruin the moment or make you feel more stressed.âÂ
âSo itâs me?âÂ
âI didnât say that.âÂ
âYou didnât have to.â His brows furrow at her lack of honesty, sheâs never been this closed off before. Its unnerving and so unlike her. Fear settles deep in his bones as their eyes meet, the need to find a solution growing with every second that passes. âI canât fix it if you arenât forthcoming.âÂ
âItâs already fixed, kind of.â She sighs, adverting her eyes from him again. âHarper more or less set things straight.âÂ
âHarper?â Ethan tilts his head, face scrunched in confusion.Â
âI was... feeling unsteady, about my place on the team and with you.âÂ
âWith me? The team I can understand, but I thought things were fine between us.âÂ
Her face drops, taking a breath. âYou really have no idea?âÂ
Gen gets up from his lap, moving back to her previous spot on the desk. The distance she places between them is small, but enough to make his heart ache fiercely.Â
âLetâs put it this way, if my ex joined the team and I spent more time reminiscing about our history - weddings and flamenco lessons and dates at some intimate bistro named after a freaking Disney character - and you had to sit here, constantly interrupted, looked over and forced to listen to every second of it, how would you feel?â
âI was doing that to you.â The pain he feels is instant, regret following quickly after. âI didnât realize.âÂ
âWhich, if Iâm being honest, Ethan, makes it hurt ten times more. Because that says that you didnât think of me or my feelings at all.âÂ
He wants to jump up and dispute her claims. Sheâs the only thing he thinks of on most days and it kills him that heâs somehow made her feel the opposite.
âI donât care that youâre friends with your ex, Harper is wonderful. But when you sit here and talk about dates you went on and veer off topic to bring up some inside joke, it makes me feel like you donât respect me or our relationship. Like this is a casual fling you could quickly let go off and not a committed relationship. Like Iâm an afterthought and that isnât fair to me.âÂ
Ethan stands from his chair, unable to cope with the distance between them any longer. He steps in front of her, holding her face in his hands. âThis isnât causal, Gen. Far from it. And youâre not an afterthought, you never have been.âÂ
âYeah, well actions speak louder than words and half of your actions lately say otherwise.â
âYouâre right. I was being inconsiderate and tactlessâ He can see by the way she pulls away that his words arenât enough. If heâs going to really set things back into place, Gen is going to need a real apology.Â
Ethan lets out a breath, holding her gaze for a long moment. âIt was wrong of me to do that to you, even worse that I did it without realizing. Your thoughts and feelings are important to me, they take precedence. Iâm sorry, Genevieve. Truly. It wonât happen again.âÂ
âThank you.â She reaches for his hand, interlacing their fingers.Â
âNot that thereâll be a next time, but should I do something this imbecilic again, feel free to call me out on it sooner rather than later.â
âTrust me, I will.âÂ
Her smile returns, brighter than it was when sheâd walked in ten minutes ago. Ethan leans forward, pressing his lips to hers in a bruising kiss. He gets bolder when she sighs, as she opens up to him and threads her fingers through his hair.Â
âThis is teetering towards a pg-13 rating.â Gen mutters against his lips, their foreheads pressed together as they catch their breaths. âTake me home.âÂ
âWhatever you want, Rookie.â
a/n: it took me all week to get this to a point where I liked it enough to post it. But we did it and I like it enough.Â

Mammon Cheats on MC
Part 2 of Infidelity on AO3
Lucifer:
GN! MC, Angst, Cheating
Flash!
This was not what he had intended.
Flash!
This was not what he had intended at all.
Mammon felt his blood run cold in the fading glow of the camera. A bubbly giggle came from the succubus as she finished snapping a selfie with the demon post-sex.
âSorry! I just wanted a memento of our time together! I'll pay you double.â
Mammon didn't react as she threw the wad of cash at him. He just watched it smack him in the face and land on the floor. This was what he wanted, right? His numb fingers picked the bills off the ground. Human world currency? Another reminder of who he just betrayed. Why couldn't she just pay him in grim?
He froze at the feeling of lips on his cheek.
âCome back again! You were amazing!â The succubus whispered in his ear.
âThis is the last time. I don't care how in debt I am!â Mammon snapped, pulling his clothes on.
âOh, you know you enjoyed it! You're the one who came to me after all. I just took you up on your offer.â
âThis was a mistake! I don't ever want to see you again!â Mammon stormed out the door, slamming it shut behind him.
âŠ
âAsmo, you are a lifesaver!â You exclaimed as the demon put the finishing touches on your look for date night.
âAlways happy to help, my dear! My idiot brother will just eat you up on your date tonight!â
âWe've been seeing each other for months now yet I still have butterflies in my stomach,â you confessed as you paced around in your room.
âOooh that's so cute! Come over here, Y/N! Let's browse Devilgram until Mammon gets here!â
Asmo had made himself comfortable on your bed and patted the space beside him. You happily trotted over and watched as he scrolled through his feed.
âOh that place is just to die for! It's got to be one of the most lavish clubs I have ever been to! We should go there sometime! Have you been to this restaurant yet, Y/N? They serve human world inspired food there! Their cupcakes are divine!â Asmodeus was babbling cheerfully to you as he flicked through his Devilgram feed before you both saw something that made your heart stop. Asmoâs ramblings tapered off into a stunned silence as the DDD fell from his hand and bounced softly on your bed. You scrambled to pick it back up, your heart hammering in your chest.
âMaybe it's from before you got together!â Asmodeus suggested as he took the DDD and zoomed in on the picture.
Mammon was wearing the chain necklace you bought him just the other week.
Asmodeus glowered angrily at the picture. How could his older brother do something like this to you?!
âY/N?â The fifth-born softly spoke your name, concern in his eyes.
You remained still, eyes glossy with tears threatening to spill out. Your facade began to crack as your body started trembling. The shock subsided and grief took its place.
Before you could do anything else, Asmo pulled you into a tight embrace. âY/N, honey, I'm so sorry,â he murmured comfortingly against your hair as he stroked your back.
As if on cue, Mammon walked through the door and instantly froze at the sight before him. Asmodeus looked up, pure rage in his eyes. You had never seen him so angry before. His demon form came out and he stood from the bed, shielding you from Mammon.
âGet. Out.â The younger brother warned.
âI'm sorry, Y/N! I can explain!â Mammon brushed passed Asmodeus to try and get to you.
A perfectly manicured hand on his shoulder suddenly yanked him back, hard. Mammon let out a yelp as he landed on the floor.
âI think that photo explains itself, Mammon. Now get out!â Asmo yelled in a tone you never heard him use.
âWhat in the demon lordâs name is going on here?â Lucifer growled as he rounded the corner into your room.
You were frozen on the bed, tears streaming down your face as Asmodeus glowered down at Mammon who was still on the floor.
âWhat did you do?â Lucifer asked, eyes narrowed at Mammon.
âI needed the money! It was a one time thing!â Mammon hastily explained and rose to his feet. âY/N! I'm so sorry! I wasn't thinking!â
âLeave,â Lucifer ordered Mammon before coming over and kneeling by your bed. He gently took your hands in his. âWhat can I do?â
âIâŠâ you bit your lip but continued, âdonât know.â You started to sob again and Lucifer pulled you into an embrace, letting you cry on his shoulder.
Despite how hard he was on Mammon, Lucifer thought highly of him. He respected Mammonâs kindness and his loyalty. To say the eldest was disappointed would be an understatement. He never expected something like this out of Mammon and he felt like he failed you. Lucifer trusted Mammon to look after you and protect you. Guilt began to gnaw at him as he held you. He swore then and there he would be the one to look after you instead of Mammon going forward, no matter how busy he was.
Lucifer and Asmodeus spent hours comforting you. You cried yourself to sleep in their arms. Lucifer frowned as he stroked your hair.
âGet some rest, Asmodeus. I will look after them tonight.â
Asmo frowned and wiped a few stray tears from your cheek before he stood up and bid Lucifer goodnight.
Word travels fast in the House of Lamentation. If the fighting didn't draw the attention of the remaining brothers, the Devilgram post making rounds certainly did. They all wanted to go to you as soon as they heard but Lucifer told them to give you space so as to not overwhelm you.
It took a lot of self control and restraint for some of the brothers not to just let loose on Mammon. Lucifer thought of punishing him but decided against it. It appeared that Mammon was doing a good job of that himself. He was distraught and broken without you and he had no one to turn to as everyone was upset with him.
As ideal as it would have been for things to go back to normal in the House of Lamentation, they didn't. There was a rift between Mammon and his brothers and between Mammon and you. You avoided him as much as possible and he gave you space. The first few weeks were the hardest as you were used to having him by your side for most of the day. In his place, his brothers stepped in to ensure your safety and well-being.
Your relationships with the other brothers strengthened over the remainder of the year. When you left the exchange program it was a bittersweet affair. You were glad you wouldn't have to see Mammon again but you would miss his brothers and the other friends you made during the exchange program. You promised to keep in touch and visit each other. You moved on with your life.
Mammon was never quite the same. At first he fell into his vices and his gambling addiction became worse. It was only when he hit rock-bottom that he started to change his toxic behaviors. It was too late to regain your trust but he could ensure that he wouldn't hurt anyone else like that in the future. He would always miss you and the relationship you had. You were special to him. Gradually, his relationship with his brothers improved with time.
Maybe someday in the future you could be friends again but for that, it would take a lot of time.
Next will be Leviathan - not sure when I'll write it. I'm going to work on some matchup and HC requests first.

Narcissus Sent a Package
Rebecca Lao walked to the Diagnostics Office ready for her shift. She was overjoyed that things started to become semi-normal between her and Ethan after she called him a diva and spoiled brat outside their patientâs house two days ago. She was thankful the awkward tension dissipated.Â
Through the glass door she could see, sitting on the round table, where the team of Baz, Becca, June and Ethan met multiple times a day to deliberate on cases, was a basket. A gift basket of a large bouquet of flowers and a box wrapped prettily with a bow.Â
The air around the office became strained almost immediately upon Beccaâs arrival.Â
June stood at the table and immediately turned to the resident, manicured thin eyebrows raised, as she walked in. Ethan was sat at his desk, attention on whatever lay before him. Baz was in a chair eying the basket with an embossed card addressed to the youngest member of the team.Â
âYou have an admirer,â he spoke. Bazâs eyes were alight with intrigue - this was the most interesting thing to happen in months.Â
Beccaâs brows furrowed together. Since when did anyone send gifts to the team? Who did she know that would send such a display?Â
She crossed the distance to inspect the gift basket. As she reached for the card she got a waft of sweetness from the fresh flowers - A bouquet of sweet pea and daffodil. The pinks and purples and yellows really complimented one another, and looked so out of place in the minimally modern room.Â
To herself, Becca read the words on the thick, definitely expensive, ivory card printed in black calligraphy;Â Â
Dr. R â2nd is the bestâ. But I like to think third timeâs the charm. Looking forward to it. - T
The color drained from her face.Â
He wouldnât.Â
The entire drunken escapade from weeks prior came rushing back to her all at once;
She knew she shouldnât indulge another endeavor with the handsome stranger. It was a disaster waiting to happen. God, she hated the way this man smiled - like he was a python devouring her whole. But in the dim light of Donahueâs, Bryceâs encouraging winks and nods from a few stools down, and the free drinks pouring, maybe a dance with the devil was exactly what she needed. A bit of mind numbing sex never hurt anybody, right?
No;Â
This wouldnât hurt Becca, or him, but in time it would hurt Ethan.
'Carolineâ downed her drink and gave Reggie the signal for another shot. Tobias and she clinked glasses as she weighed her options one final time.Â
Then they made their way to the bathroom.Â
Her eyes flitted from the card to the purposeful gift and back again.Â
He did.Â
And the intention behind it washed over her.Â
Shit.
âWow, Becca. I didnât think you had it in you,â June appraised, pulling the resident back to the room of awaiting bystanders.Â
Becca folded the card back up and placed it far away from the others reach. âWhat?â she responded, slightly dazed by this complete and utter spectacle laid out before her - the brazen flaunt of distrust. Â
Juneâs tight smile was all too telling. âTobias,â she nodded towards the card and raised her eyebrows, âIâm impressed.âÂ
Of course she read the card first.Â
As much as Becca wanted to smack that smirk off of Dr. Hirataâs face she refrained. It wasnât worth making a scene. The damage was already done. June pulled the trigger with that transparent remark.Â
Of course she purposefully said his name out loud.
A pager cut through the gross tension coating the diagnostics office. It was Bazâs and he wordlessly fled the scene.Â
âExcuse me,â June left the room in his wake, leaving the inevitable drama to unfold.Â
Body tense, Becca hesitantly moved to the present. It was weighted, much too heavy to be a box of chocolates. Stupidly, she stole a glance at Ethan. He was sitting straight up, body turned from her, face stoic and doing his best to be uninterested. Â
She went to pull back the glossy purple paper, revealing the gift. Becca managed to uncover it halfway before everything clicked.Â
Staring back at her was a sparkly, aged bottle of amber scotch.Â
âI...â she pulled the rest of the paper back to reveal the name.Â
Fuck.Â
âI donât think this was meant for me.âÂ
Her words were loud and clear and ringing off the furniture, vibrating all around him.Â
And Ethanâs cover was blown;Â
âWha-â he finally looked over at her, curiosity getting the better of him. Â
She turned to him and held up the box, âItâs your favorite.âÂ
He didnât miss the regret in her eyes. It was a darker amber than the expensive liquid she held. Her tight lips, pressed together and the light flush on her cheeks told him it was true.Â
The woman he fell for was involved with Tobias Carrick.Â
Ethan moved across the office quickly and with intention, coming just close enough to Becca to inspect the bottle. He did his best to keep a semblance of space between them. Â
He held the box in his hands. Inspecting. Deliberating. Letting his mind draw up as many conclusions has possible.Â
Her voice cut through, âI didnât even tell him my real name.â
It was an decibel above a whisper, and not the consolation she meant it to be.
Ethanâs eyes were trained on the scotch. His features unmoving and frozen in place. The only sign of life was the small rise and fall of his chest as he attempted to swallow the lump in his throat.   Â
Becca wished she hadnât said anything. Wished that she just took the bouquet and unopened scotch back to her locker so no one had to know her personal business. More than anything, she wished she didnât do it. She wished she let Tobias Carrick stay that nameless man in the club and pretended not to remember him at Donahueâs that night.Â
âWhy on earth would you sleep with my ex-best friend, my rival?â It was more rhetorical than anything. Â
âWe hooked up thatâs all.â Â
They didnât have sex. Thank God.Â
They were interrupted by loud rapping on the door and Reggieâs voice calling for them to âget another roomâ. As they put their shirts back on, and Becca was free from Tobiasâ warmth between her legs, realization set in. Her heart wasnât in it. She couldnât do it. Becca denied going home with him and hoped to never see him again.Â
Unfortunately for her work forced their hands.  Â
Ethan couldnât help but let the a few careful emotions seep through as he barked, âWhat does that even mean? What does this mean?â He pointed between the flowers and the scotch.Â
Becca could feel the bottled up anger emanating off of him. And frankly, it pissed her off.Â
Ethan chose to sever any romantic ties they could have had in the name of her professional growth and ethics. It was his choice. As much as Becca didnât agree, she respected his decision. Sheâs tried so hard to move on.Â
âOkay,â She held up her pointer finger ready to unleash the truth. âThe first time I had no idea who he was! He was some rando at a club.â
It took everything in Ethan, every morsel of self control, to keep from asking when the first time was. When she first succumbed to his rival and how many times there were after that. How long after they slept together the night of her hearing did she jump into bed with someone else? How long after kissing him his first night back did she invalidate every single thing she ever said about wanting him?Â
Heâd rather know about her salacious escapes with the scalpel jockey than with the likes of Tobias Carrick.
âAnd we did fool around in the bathroom at a bar a few weeks,â Becca continued her explanation on how she came to know the olive skinned stranger. âThen at the Bloomâs it clicked.â Â
During her entire soliloquy Ethan didnât falter. He didnât even acknowledge her person. His mind moved faster than her explanations. He dissected every word falling tastelessly off her tongue. He weighed the truth of each sentence and collected every scenario hiding in the subtext. Â
Becca watched as he mulled. At least, she assumed, he was marinating and assessing her words. Ethan was a statue in front of her. Eyes darker than sheâs ever seen and hollow. Devoid of emotion as they stayed locked on the offending item in his white-knuckled hands. Â
She wished he would say something, anything. Any words, even venomous ones, would be better than the sullen look on his face.Â
Becca thought things were getting better between them; she thought they were making progress. All their differences aside, they were getting along. They were becoming better friends. Becca was one of the rare few people Ethan could actually trust.Â
And now...Â
With a rueful huff he unceremoniously freed the bottle of its confines.Â
Ethanâs mind was reeling - racing a mile a minute as their bodies stood frozen in place. As their bodies protected themselves.
First she weasels her way into his life, driving him to distraction and making him fall for her. She frazzled his mind with intrusive thoughts of her, so strong he needed a sabbatical. Then sheâs dismantling the fundamentals of his team, everything he and his mentor worked their careers to build. Now, he feels as if he never really knew her at all.Â
Tobias Carrick always coveted everything Ethan Ramsey had; even after their medical school years ended, the distain still existed. Ethan could handle it all - every single dig and undermining being thrown his way. He learned to rise above the schemes every time Tobias tried and failed to outdo him. Ethan Ramsey was capable of moving on, forgetting everything without a second thought.Â
Everything except for this.Â
This was the one thing he could never overcome. She was the one thing Tobias could win at.Â
It never even crossed Ethanâs mind that Tobias could have her too. Even worse were the thoughts of how Tobias could have found her. Did the universe bring them together just as he assumed it divinely brought her into his life? Was he always destined to have to fight with Tobias for all he earned?Â
Ethan noted how he could never be narcissistic enough to send a one-night stand a gift basket.
Yet what made Ethan stir the most was how unashamed and brash the gesture was. Aside from the subtext, Ethan could never bring himself to send the woman of his affections flowers - their dynamic was far too complicated for Ethan to send Becca a token of appreciation.Â
So he grasped the bottle firmly by the neck and pulled it out of the box with an unsatisfying creak.Â
With one blind, emotional action Becca had unknowingly ruined everything they had or could ever be. Ethan Ramsey will never come second to Tobias Carrick. Ethan may have had Becca first, but with her dubious action she made her choice.Â
It wasnât him.Â
He carried the bottle back to his desk and sat down. Â
âWhatâre you doing?â Becca questioned from the place sheâd been stuck standing in for what felt like eons. Her eyes blinked rapidly as if what sheâs been experiencing was just a nightmare and at some point sheâll wake up.Â
But this wasnât an illusion. They both knew that.Â
This was how it ended.Â
How something that barely even began washed away with the stream of regret. Â
âExactly what Tobias intended,â he half-shrugged. Bending down, pulled out a crystal tumbler from the lower drawer of his desk. âIâm drinking it.â
The nonchalance of his tone scared her. It was late afternoon and Ethan Ramsey was about to have a drink.Â
She was about to comment when he spoke first;Â
âYouâre dismissed.âÂ
It was definitive.Â
He cracked open the bottle and poured a hearty serving, spinning around in his chair to look at the x-rays heâs already seen just so that his back was fully to her.Â
Becca wanted to speak, to say something to make things better.Â
It was a mistake.Â
Back in those days she needed something, anything, to help her get over her all consuming feelings for Ethan and thought Tobias could help - that a random stranger could help numb the pain just a bit longer.Â
She wanted to tell Ethan everything - every single thing that led her to the moment of weakness.Â
But what was the point in telling him how much his disappearance and constant rejections hurt her? How many times can she tell him sheâs fallen in love with him and her heart breaks every time they canât be together? How she regretted the stranger the moment he had his hand up her skirt. How in the middle of Bloomâs living room her heart stopped beating when Tobias came to light and he learned of her true identity.Â
How could she apologize for all of that?Â
She was sorry, but sorry wouldnât change the past.Â
It couldnât change anything.Â

Take Care of Them
Warnings: Hmm..? If youâre touchy on religion, Iâd advise you to not continue reading. (I wrote this for fun)
If any of the characters are OC, tell me so I can try and adjust it.
Takes place after Lesson 18 but before Lesson 19
Pairings: Obey me boys x MC/Reader
Idea: God talking to MC in a dream or such about the brothers
Part 1-4
Chapter 5
MCâs eyelids fluttered open as they looked around, their eyes landing on someone that they werenât familiar with. The human approached the divine being who was eyeing them, curiousity glinting in his eyes. The angel smiled as the human got closer to him.
MC took in the appearance of the angel, in awe of his beauty. The mysterious being stood at 5â9 and was built like a warrior with light brown skin. He had meaningful light green eyes and a small part of his short, black hair was neatly braid to the side of his head. He was clad in a snow-white hooded robe with the hood pulled back, as well as a pair of slipper shoes. Perched against his shoulder blades were a pair of light turquoise wings shaped into those of a hawk. He had a fang earring hanging from his left ear and he was carrying a set of gold scales. He was giving off a serene energy that made the human feel at peace in his presence.
The angel banished the set of scales he was holding as he bowed, taking hold of the humanâs hand and placing a tender kiss on the back of their hand. The angel straightened himself before introducing himself to the flushed mortal, âHello. I am Raphael, the Symbol of Temperance and the sixth oldest out of the seven virtues.â
MC allowed their eyes to go over the angel before speaking, âItâs nice to meet you, Raphael. Your counterpart must be the Avatar of Gluttony, Beelzebub.â
âThatâs correct!â Raphael grinned before he let out a sigh, staring at the human with his light green eyes, âHow is he by the way?â
MC immediately started talking about Beel, about how sweet and gentle he was with them even at the beginning of their schooling at RAD. Raphael listened intently, his eyes showing fondness for the human who seemed to hold so much affection for his fallen brothers.
âBeelzebub and I were never that close when he was still an angel since I was in a different legion than he was and I was created much earlier than he was. He was usually around Belphegor and Lilith but I loved seeing him around those two. They were never really that far apart from each other.â Raphael spoke once MC was done going on and on about Beel, running his fingers through the hair that wasnât secured in the braid on the side of his head.
MC smiled before asking, looking around Purgatory with a distracted look in their eyes, âSo I was wondering, where is your Father?â
âOh. Heâs actually busy right now. He sends His regards and oh!â Raphael dug into his robes before pulling out a familiar looking envelope and holding it out for MC to take. The human took the envelope and held it close to their chest, a smile playing at their lips as the angel spoke, âHere. The Lord said to give this to you. He didnât say anything else but Iâm sure you already know what it is if the look on your face is anything to go about.â Raphael ended with a smile.
âThank you Raphael.â MC smiled brightly at the already smiling angel who was currently holding a hand out for them to take which they did. âYou can call me Raph. I also have something I wish to ask of you.â The angel spoke, the tone in his voice serious.
He tugged on them as the two walked around aimlessly in the empty white space. The human had a confused look on their face as they stared at Raphael. He smiled before he dropped the bomb on them, âWill you do me the honors of letting me become yours?â
They looked surprised before asking, âYou⊠You want to make a covenant with me?â
The angel nodded and the human retracted their hand from Raphaelâs, fiddling nervously with the edge of the envelope they were still holding. âWhy?â MC realized how rude they were being, flinging their arms around as they nervously continued, the pitch of their voice getting higher, âI mean, not that Iâm not grateful but donât you think itâs so sudden to make a covenant with a human you just met? Simeon said that it might take a couple of times of us meeting before we make a covenant but you just met me and youâre already offering to make a covenant with me.â They gulped, choking on the last word they spoke as they stared incredulously at the amused looking angel.
âFirst of, Father asked us to make covenants with you. We get to choose when to establish the covenant but it is something that will eventually happen.â Raphael explained as they strolled through the never-ending room. âAnother reason is for your protection. We know that you have our fallen brothers to protect you but we are worried that since you donât have magic, something worrying will happen to you. He probably will never tell you but Father has gained a soft spot for you, especially since you seemed to gain my fallen brothersâ attention.â The Symbol of Temperance glanced at MC from the corner of his eye. âYou should be expecting the other virtues to make covenants with you but it all depends on them on when they wish to make a covenant. You might have to meet with some of them more than once to establish the covenant. Especially the three strongest and older virtues.â
The human looked lost in thought before they nodded, agreeing. Raphael smiled before he reached into his wings that were curved around him. He plucked one of the larger feathers and crushed it to fine dust in his fist. They watched in awe as he opened his fist and laying on top of his now open palm was a turquoise blue signet ring. They could see the ring had a symbol that looked similar to the scales that he was holding when they first arrived. He took hold of their left hand before slipping the ring onto their pointer finger, pressing a kiss against the pulsing ring.
âMy powers, when you wish to draw them out for yourself, includes healing touch and control over water. My weapon of choice is a scepter since I am most adept in spells. I understand that you do not have magic ability yet so you will have to unlock your magic container before you can use my weapon.â The angel spoke as he stared at the human. He pulled away and warned, âPlease use my power wisely. Iâm sure Uriel already warned you that usage of our powers saps a lot of your own energy especially the more powerful the virtue is.â Raphael explained as the human stared at the ring pulsing with a comforting feeling.
MC blinked, watching as their fingers started to blink in and out of existence. Raphael smiled before bowing towards the human, his wings spreading wide before curling around him once again, âUntil we meet again, my human.â

An Art of Balance #29
Orion Amari x MC

Chapter 29: Unbalanced
With the school year drawing to an end, the amount of attention spent in Professor Binnsâs classes had dwindled even further. Half of the students enduring the dull droning of the ghost alongside Orion were asleep, the other was using the time to catch up on neglected assignments, so they could spend their afternoon outside. For all that Binns cared, they could have chucked their inkwells through the classroom.
Like the rest of the students, Orionâs mind was anywhere but on the Witch Trials of 1692. He was bent over a piece of parchment, drawing and crossing out lines and circles as he tried to come up with a decent match plan. The last game of the season was only a few days away and he still didnât have the slightest idea how to let his team play against Gryffindor. He had been trying to think of something for the last two weeks, but nothing good would come to him.
The Gryffindor team was known for their speed and dexterity, both qualities combined in their seeker and captain, Charlie Weasley. Orion had either watched or participated in every game Charlie had played since he had joined his House team and he knew raw talent when he saw it. When Charlie set eyes on the Snitch, he was always the one to catch it, no exceptions so far. They would have to make sure to keep him out of the game as well as possible.
Having an idea about what strategy Charlie was going for would have helped Orion design an appropriate counterpart, but the Gryffindors had taken care. As of late, they had started training at odd hours, often at the break of dawn or just before sunset, so no one would watch their manoeuvres.
Being friends not only with their captain but some other players as well, Lizzie usually could provide at least some insight into the Gryffindor teamâs plans; but since she and Charlie had stopped speaking to each other, she was as clueless as the rest of them.
Maybe Orionâs own strategy would have come easier to him had he known how to incorporate the newly changed dynamic in their own team into his thoughts. But the way Lizzie, Skye and himself were working together these days still felt foreign to him.
He knew Skye and Lizzie were practising on their own a lot; as a result, their playstyle had become attuned to each other and they had developed some new moves that only worked between the two of them. They did include Orion in their manoeuvres of course, but the perfect balance between them had shifted.
Tearing his eyes away from the playbook he was writing in, Murphy looked over at Orion's notes sceptically. âI hate to break this to you, but with that strategy your chances of winning against Gryffindor sink to a discouraging 22.4 % at best.â He tilted his head and squeezed his eyes as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing. âIf I interpret it correctly, that is⊠is that even a strategy chart?â
âOur thoughts need room to unfold before they can evolve into ideas,â Orion explained airily, although he knew full well his work certainly wasnât what he would call productive. âIt is no good judging a diamond before it is cut and polished. However, true wisdom only comes to those who know how to listen, so if you have any idea how to improve our odds, Iâm all ears.â
Murphy chuckled at Orionâs long-winded admittance of being stuck. âLet me finish the design of my new move and Iâll think of something.â He snorted as he glanced at the confusing array of lines and arrows once again. âAnythingâs better than that.â
With a sigh of relief Orion dropped his quill and let his gaze wander out of the window towards the Quidditch pitch. It was good to know Murphy was too involved with their teamâs success to let them down; not that he would have anyway. Even though their philosophies couldnât have been more different, both of them knew the other would always have their backs, no matter if it was about Quidditch or anything else.
But even with Murphyâs brilliant mind on the matter, he knew the best strategy was no use without a well-balanced team to carry it out. And balance was something not only his team, but he himself was seriously lacking these days.
Orion was still pondering on this when the class was dismissed what felt like hours later. When they emerged from the dingy classroom, he was surprised to find Skye waiting for them in the corridor. When she spotted Orion and Murphy, she pushed herself off the wall she had been leaning against and made her way over to them.
âAccording to my notes, you are supposed to have Divination right now,â Murphy greeted her with a surprised voice. âWas class cancelled? I did see Professor Trewlaney at breakfast and lunch though, if she didnât fall ill in between lunch and now - which, by the way, only is 12.5 % likely - Iâd say youâre skipping class. Which is not good, Skye,â he added reproachfully. âYou might get removed from the team if youâre caught.â
Skye didnât seem fazed by his concerns and merely shrugged them off. âDonât worry, I told Trelawney I feel burdened by the stars and some other nonsense I came up with. She felt very sorry for me and let me go to âfind respite from the grim fate thatâs awaiting meâ,â she snorted and rolled her eyes. âGetting out of this class is way too easy if you ask me.â
Orion wasnât happy with her heedless attitude either. Skye being careless about attending her classes was the last thing he needed right now. âYou shouldnât risk the privileges we hold so readily,â he scolded her mildly. âUnfortunately, our team is not prepared to meet Gryffindor eye to eye on the pitch as of yet. You getting banned from Quidditch for unnecessarily missing classes would be a harsh blow to our team.â
Skyeâs expression had turned serious. âI wouldnât call it unnecessary; the team is exactly what I wanted to talk to you about.â She fell in step beside them as they made their way to the dungeons; they had Potions scheduled next. âWe have to do something to get everyone back on track, and fast; the matchâs almost here and weâre in a damn sorry state right now.â
Orion sighed. âI understand and appreciate your concerns about the balance of our team; I share them as well. But the fragile unison between all of us is a delicate matter; one wrong step could make everything worse and easily lead us from the way to our goal onto the one headed for failure.â
Skye huffed incredulously. âWorse? Wake up, Orion; itâs never been worse since the early days before Lizzie joined the team.â
âI actually have to agree with Skye here,â Murphy chimed in. âLooking at the numbers alone, the Hufflepuff team is stronger than ever.
As always when he was delving into his statistics, his grey eyes lit up with excitement. âThe precision of your Seeker improved by 44.2 % compared to when she started out on the team six years ago. Everett and Judith only miss 5.6 % of their shots and our Keeper deflects 68.9 % of all attempts on his goalposts, 72.6 % on a good day. But you Chasers⊠,â he trailed off for a moment and then shrugged. âWell, I hate to say it, but itâs only you guys that are lacking in performance at the moment.â
âCheers for stating the obvious, McNully,â Skye muttered glumly.
âMy pleasure; the physical abilities to win the match are there, but the sideshows going on are distracting the whole team. Like this, the chances of a Cup dressed in yellow and gold diminish to 23.6 %; and as impartial as I am, I really donât like that,â he couldnât help but add.
âYouâre right,â Orion conceded. âThe Chasers are the weak link in the chain holding us together. You and Lizzie balance each other well, but between the three of us, we lack the harmony we used to share before⊠well, you know,â he trailed off; he generally tried to avoid speaking openly about what had happened between him and Lizzie a few weeks ago. He could push the thought into the back of his mind when he focused on something else, but it would resurface every now and again. Orion had tried to let it go many times, but so far his attempts had been unsuccessful; thinking about it still hurt.
âAgreed, itâs because of you and Lizzie,â Skye mercilessly brought the subject up again. âStop talking around it. She always knew best how to showcase our playstyles at the same time.â
âShe has a point,â Murphy surprisingly agreed. âLizzieâs style of playing Chaser is the most balanced out of the three of you, for lack of a better word.â He laughed lightly at the thought of anyone being more balanced than the Hufflepuff captain. âShe is a perfect mixture of Skyeâs overly rash and aggressive offensive and your more cautious, tactical approach.â
Skye looked at Murphy for a moment, trying to decide whether he had insulted her or not. She let it pass, however. âWhatever McNully said, this is exactly why Iâm here. We have to do something about this whole situation with you guys or we might as well hand the lions the cup without much bother.â
Orion didnât answer her; the prospect of Skye meddling in his business was not a thought he found reassuring. He brushed his hair out of his face before fiddling with the tie of his uniform; it suddenly felt even more suffocating than usual.
âSometimes the ventures that are seemingly the easiest to undertake turn out to be the most complicated ones,â Orion conceded; he knew Skye easily lost her patience and let a topic drop if he wasnât getting straight to the point, but not this time.
âThatâs nonsense,â she snorted. âThe way I see it, you need to man up and Jameson needs a kick in her pretty behind to get her to stop moping.â
Both Murphy and Orion were silent; even for Skye, her words were unusually straightforward.
She waved her hand impatiently. âDonât look at me like that, you know Iâm right.â
Lowering her voice a bit, she looked down at her feet. âSeriously, I canât stand her being so sad all the time; none of you deserves this. And besides,â she quickly added in an attempt to play over her genuine concern for her friends, âif we donât get that bloody trophy this year Iâm going to lose it, let me tell you!â
They had reached Snapeâs classroom where most of the Hufflepuffs and Slytherins were already waiting for the class to begin. Skye turned to leave for their Common Room until her next class would start, but not without looking back over her shoulder one last time.
âIâm serious, captain. Fix things with her or I will do it for you, one way or another.â
*
Skyeâs words never really left Orion for the next couple of days. They would pop up in his mind in regular intervals, making it almost impossible for him to focus on one thing for a longer period of time.
For one, he really didnât want Skye to interfere and he knew she absolutely would; although she would never admit it, it was clear to see that he wasnât the only one concerned about Lizzie. And while he knew Skye was invested, her approach was seldomly a gentle one. He shuddered at the thought of what she might come up with.
But what was even more than that, he knew that she was right.
He and Lizzie hadnât spoken alone since their meeting on the stands, when she had told him about her decision. As much as it had pained him and still did, he had respected her choice, and left her alone; there was no need to hurt both of them any more than necessary.
Orion was reluctant to break the fragile peace between them but Skye had a point; if they didnât manage to find some form of common ground, their prospects of winning against Gryffindor were anything but promising. He knew confronting her would reopen both their wounds they had worked so hard to patch up these last few weeks, but what he felt personally didnât matter in that instance. He was the captain of his team and had to put their shared goals first.
Just as he had feared, fixing things with Lizzie was a thing easier said than done. She was hard to catch these days, especially for him. Ever since the Slytherin match Lizzie had made sure to keep a low profile. Always being involved with some friend group or another, more often than not right in the middle of the action, she kept to herself and spent most of her time somewhere on the Grounds, her dorm or the library; neither place was particularly suited to have a serious conversation.
It wasnât until their last official practise before the final game of the season that Orion finally managed to get hold of her. Everyone but Lizzie, Skye, Murphy and himself had already left the changing room as they packed their things to return to the castle.
Skye gave Orion a pointed glance and nodded in Lizzieâs direction; she had her back to them as she was stowing away her Comet for the evening. Murphy was still pondering the final details of their strategy he had just presented to them; he looked up in surprise as Skye grabbed him by the arm and dragged him out of the tent.
Lizzie raised her head at the commotion to find herself alone with Orion. She immediately tensed and quickly secured the holdings of her broom before starting off towards the exit herself.
Orion reached to stop her instinctively. âWait up, I need to talk to you for a moment.â
When he touched her arm, however, she flinched from his touch and he immediately pulled back; that certainly hadnât been the best start.
Lizzie took a step back from him so she was out of his reach. He noticed how her shoulders tensed further as she looked at him, meeting his eyes only briefly.
âWhat can I help you with?â
Her tone was very formal; Orion knew it was her way of keeping more than just physical distance from him. He hated having to make her talk to him this way when she clearly didnât want to; but the wellbeing of their team was his responsibility, so he ignored the sting he felt at her reaction and gave her a small smile.
âOur final match is nearly here and it is my duty as captain to make sure every member of our team is feeling balanced,â he explained. He knew she didnât buy it by the way she was raising her eyebrows doubtfully. Even now, she could read him like a book.
âWe havenât talked for weeks now,â he admitted softly, âI wanted to know if youâre alright.â
For a short moment, he saw a trace of uncertainty flicker across her face before she regained control over her expression again. Her eyes dropped and she shuffled her feet uncomfortably.
âIs this about my performance today?â she asked contritely. âI know Iâm not in the best state right now, Iâll do my best and be ready in time for the match, donât worry.â
Orion shook his head. âNo, you were doing a good job. While your way of playing seems to have changed, I welcome the newfound harmony between you and Skye. It is plain to see that your hearts are beating to the same rhythm when you are flying next to each other.â He tilted his head sideways, trying to catch her eyes that were still fixed on the ground. âBut no chord is complete without all of its notes; if one is missing, the sound rings hollow. Like in a musical chord, there are three of us Chasers; and where you are one with Skye, the bond we shared is all but gone.â
Lizzieâs shoulders slumped and she sighed deeply. âI know,â she muttered and bit her lip. âIâm working on it, okay?â
They both knew that finding a common place, where they werenât fazed by neither what was in their past nor what might have been in their future was an almost impossible feat. But for the sake of their team, they had to try.
âIf I may offer my advice, Iâd tell you to focus on whatâs imminent instead of tearing yourself apart over something you cannot change anymore. Concentrate on the match; when weâre on the pitch, nothing else counts.â He smiled softly and a little bit sadder than he had meant to. âLeave whatâs past in the past.â
She chuckled wryly. âYou make that sound a lot easier than it actually is, Captain.â
Orionâs smile widened the slightest bit upon hearing her using her nickname for him. âI know that, Chaser,â he couldnât help but play along, âjust remember, I told you time and time again, that whatever happens, Iâm still your friend and I always will be. If it helps you overcome your difficulties, forget everything that happened this year; push it to the back of your mind where it wonât dampen your spirit anymore. Imagine we are the same we were when the year began.â
âAre we though?â she asked silently. âBut what if I donât want that?â
Raising her eyes, Lizzie finally met his gaze without shying away. She searched his face for any sign, any giveaway whether pretending like nothing had changed was what he himself wanted or not. She hadnât looked at him that intensely since they had parted on the stands back in March; he felt the butterflies dancing in his stomach as his heart rate was speeding up.
Orion hesitated for a second when he raised his hand to touch her. This time, she didnât flinch when he put his hand on her shoulder. He tried to not let the contact between them exceed the encouraging gesture of a team captain to another player, but he couldnât ignore the tingles spreading from his palm into the rest of his body.
He tried to shake the feeling off by concentrating on what he had to say. âListen up, Chaser; my advice as your captain is, take your struggle with you into the air. Use it, let it fuel your fire, because no one I know burns as brightly as you do. Ignite your fire again, so everyone else can see that it is unmatched.â
The corners of Lizzieâs mouth quirked up as her smile, that had been sad before, widened. Her eyes were sparkling again as her fighting spirit was returning to her. âThank you, Captain, Iâll do everything I can not to let you down. Thereâs still a lot on my mind, but youâre right; on the pitch, nothing matters but the game and weâll show Gryffindor how it's played.â
Orion was glad to see a bit of the Lizzie he knew shining through again. âExactly,â he grinned as his lips curved into a lopsided smile. âGo now, find your focus and clean your slate; because it is only with an unburdened mind that we can win.â

Descent Pt. 9

Chapter Index and Obey Me! Masterlist: here Ao3 Mirror: Here Part [1] Part [2] Part [3] Part 4: [4] Part [5] Part [6] Part [7] Part [8] Part [9] Part [10]Â
Pairing: Simeon x Lucifer x Reader, Lucifer x Simeon Genre: REALLY filthy smut Wordcount: 7,400 ish  Tags: Threesome F/M/M, Spitroasting, Pegging, rough sex, overstimulation, chastity devices Summary: Desperate for release, Simeon's willing to give you everything, including his body. It's just a shame he's too prideful to do it alone and once again needs to call in a favor.Â
Plunge
Your kisses were hot enough to brand his skin. Lips, breath, scent, all of it cloyingly sweet and heady. He reached out to brush your hair from your face just so he could kiss you without abandon. Simeon whined when you pulled away from him. He reached out to you but you pushed him back onto the soft covers of his bed. âNo.â you told him firmly and placed a finger onto his lips. He kissed the digit reverently before you slid your finger away, traces of his saliva leaving a glistening trail down his chin.
Your fingers found his nipples and pinched them, hard. He cried out in pain, but there was no question that the pain only turned into pleasure as you ground against his throbbing member. He called for you, his throat parched and hoarse from screaming in pleasure. You only giggled and watched him writhe under you. âNo.â you reiterated. âBe a good boy.â
And what could he do but obey you? Listen to your every command as you made his body sing and reach highs he had never achieved before. His cock throbbed, aching to be buried within you, he would do anything for that moment to have you fall into his embrace and make sweet love to you. You were heaven on earth and he was so, so close to salvation.
Your hot mouth wrapped around the tip of his length while your hands kept his legs spread wide. He could feel every one of your taste buds as your tongue swirled around the tip of his cock. He clutched onto the sheets below him, his knuckles turned white from the sheer force of his grip. Simeon keened, begged and pleaded for mercy, yet he knew he would get none. Not while you were in control. No, he knew you would pull everything out of him before he got his release, and he wouldnât have it any other way.
He felt you hum while you sucked him off, drawing him closer and closer to his climax. Just when he couldnât take it anymore, you pulled away and waited for him to stop heaving for air. You had the grace within you to let him breathe for a moment before the tell tale buzz of a vibrator was turned on and pressed firmly against his aching cock.
âGood boy.â You purred and grinned gleefully as his screams echoed in the room. âCum nice and hard for me now. If you do, Iâll let you fuck me.â Your words were more than temptation, they were pure sin and he didnât give a damn if he fell, just as long as he was with you. His reward was within reach, and the pleasure building within him reached a breaking point.
As pure euphoria washed over his body, Simeon awoke, panting covered in sweat and dizzy from his dream. His fingers were sore from clinging onto the sheets and there was a distinctive sticky wetness that came from his leaking cock that strained against the cage you had placed onto him. He sighed, tugging at it, hoping that it would give him some relief but it only made the throbbing worse. Simeon took deep breaths, trying to focus on something, anything, to get his mind off of the erotic dream he had. With how often he awoke like this since that night, it was almost routine for him to take a cold shower to wash away the sinful thoughts that invaded his subconscious. Most days it worked, but with how intense his nightly visions were becoming, even that tried and true remedy wasnât enough.
After seeing you so wantonly taken by Lucifer not once, but twice now, the dreams had started to come in. At first, he didnât think too much about them, after all it wasnât the first time he ever had an erotic dream. But, when it involved you and what he now knew you could do for him, his nightly visions  became extreme. It was all he could think about. Sometimes, the dreams involved Lucifer as well, goading the two of you on he couldnât hold back anymore and was ready to fuck you out of your mind. However, even in his dreams, he was denied the ability to take what he wanted as his body always jolted him awake the moment he was just about to enter you.
It had been a full week of this torment. Simeon expected to be used to it. The weight of the cage on his cock reminded him of that fateful night and everything you and Lucifer did to him. Never had he ever been so pampered and spoiled, yet left hungry for so much more. It never failed to get his member straining against its confines.
The memory permeated his regular thoughts and crept up on him whenever he least expected it to. He wasnât even granted the privilege to rub one out when the thoughts became too much anymore. He was cursed to be stuck with the discomfort of not being able to find release. Somehow, after such a blissful night, his life was an eternal hell of constant arousal and frustration. The inability to find any sort of relief only caused him to stress and be more on edge. He was being driven mad with a need and a desire to defile someone he swore he wouldnât do.
Something needed to be done.
Simeon hated calling in favors, especially when he just finished paying one back. Still, he didnât know who else to turn to and his fingers once again dialed the number to his old friend.
âOh, hello. I didnât expect to hear from you again so soon.â Luciferâs drawl was as smug as ever when he finally picked up after several rings. âHow has your week been?â
Simeon only sighed, he was sure Lucifer knew exactly how his week has been. âI need help.â he deadpanned, unable to deal with Luciferâs pompous tone more than he absolutely had to.
âSo soon? Are you writing a new novel? I must say, I was rather enamored with how you wrote the last few chapters of your book. I could tell exactly what parts you took---â
âIâm not writing a new book.â Simeon cut in, huffing in frustration. âI need help⊠With⊠WellâŠâ
âWell?â
âThe cage you put on me...â He finished his sentence with a fair bit of shame, hating that he had to admit to Lucifer of all people that he was having problems with being too over aroused all the time. âI⊠I canât cum with it on.â
âOh, donât you know? Thatâs the point.â Luciferâs chuckle incited a fair bit of anger within Simeon, but he managed to keep a level head somehow. âCome on now, surely you didnât think it was just for show...â
âLucifer, I havenât been able to sleep properly for a week.â Simeon hissed. âI need to do something about this before I snap and do something I regret.â
Lucifer hummed, completely seemingly nonplussed about his friendâs reaction. âHmm, well, that would be a shame wouldnât it.â Simeon could hear Lucifer shrugging to his phone. âWhat do you want to do about it?â
âI donât know, take it off? You have a spare key, right?â
âOh no, the one key that exists belongs to your dear friend. Last time I talked to her, she told me the only way sheâs going to take that off of you is if you promise to take her.â
There was a fair amount of silence on Simeonâs end. Lucifer wondered if the call had been disconnected and was almost ready to hang up before he heard his friend speak again. âI canât do that.â
âBut itâs what you want, is it not?â
âItâs not about what I want. You know as well as I do that this isnât something I can do.â
Lucifer sighed, almost pitying how Simeon was fighting his urges. âIs your divinity really that important to you?â
âI⊠I cannot take what is not meant to be mine.â
âThen, if you cannot take, what can you give?â
Simeon blinked, confused at Luciferâs cryptic words. He knew Lucifer had something planned, as always; and he had to tread carefully to avoid his fall. Still, Lucifer offered him a sliver of hope, and he would be lying if he said his curiosity wasnât piqued. âWhat are you suggesting, Lucifer?â
âOh? I thought youâd never ask...â
He was only two steps away from falling. Though Lucifer couldnât take those steps for him, he could at least offer a little push in the right direction.
~~
You laid your head on counter of the bar, the cool wood gave your burning cheeks a little reprieve. Most of the night had been spend nursing mixed drink after mixed drink. With one final rather stiff order, you finally felt sufficiently drunk to the point where you didnât worry about Simeon or what he thought about your relationship with him.
You hadnât seen him in a week. He hadnât said a damn thing since everything that happened at Luciferâs penthouse and you were beginning to believe it was all a fever dream. Lucifer had been right about one thing, Simeon wasnât the kind of person to tell you what he wanted. It was a constant guessing game and you were tired of giving the wrong things to him. No matter what, he remained steadfast in his promise to not fuck you.
You groaned, sipping your drink and looked over at the bartender. âWhat do I do.â you whined, hoping to get some advice.
âAh? Whatâs this? Relationship troubles?â he asked softly while carefully drying a glass. He looked at you expectantly, waiting for you to explain your plight.
âHow did you know?â
âWell, judging by your demeanor and how often youâve come in the last week, clearly something is bothering you. When you complain about your job, you ask for beer. This whole week though, youâve requested mixed drinks, I can only assume that what worries you is a little more ah⊠personal.â
âAsmo, you are too good at your job.â
He giggled softly, putting the glass in its place and picking up a new one. âWell, I wouldnât still be working here if I wasnât good at what I do.â
âThis is very true.â You nodded, once again taking another drink. âI donât know what to do⊠I really like this guy, but I canât tell if heâs invested in me the same way I am for with him.â
âWell, now that really is quite worrisome, isnât it?â Asmo stopped you from answering while he fulfilled an order. He chatted merrily with the customer but he did keep an eye on you to make sure you werenât too far gone. After all, you had offered him a rather juicy tidbit, he was rather invested now in your story. He wandered back to where you sat at the bar and returned to cleaning glasses now that the patron had their drink. âSorry about that. Why donât you tell me more about whatâs going on in that pretty head of yours?â
Venting your frustrations out to someone who was basically a stranger was oddly cathartic. You started from the beginning, keeping some details vague just to protect Simeonâs public reputation. Even if your story was for Asmo, you never knew who could be eavesdropping. Your tale was interrupted a few times by customers, but luckily it was getting late and most of them were just getting one last drink in before heading home for the night. The interruptions became less frequent and you were able to eventually finish your story along with your drink.
âSo yeah⊠I came up with the idea of putting him in a chastity belt, and now he hasnât talked to me for like a week and a half.â You pouted and slouched over the bar. âDo you think I went too far?â
Asmo hummed, wiping down his workspace and mulled over your story. It was just as juicy as he thought it would be. Some of the details you mentioned had him getting rather excited, and he was glad for the tall counter hiding his growing arousal. âWell, all things considered, I think youâve given him as many hints as possible. If he canât tell what you want at this point, then thatâs on him.â
âBut how can I tell if thatâs what he wants? He wonât tell me anything.â
âAh, you see, youâre giving him yet another chance.â Asmo chided. He took your empty glass from you and slid over a new drink. âOn the house.â He declared with a bit of a wink. âYouâve given me a good story to listen to, itâs only fair that I compensate you properly for it.â
âThank you...â You looked at the concoction and took a sip. A myriad of flavors and sensations flooded your tongue and you took a moment to savor his creation. The warm burn of alcohol rested at your chest and you mulled over the bartenderâs cryptic words. âSo, are you saying I should stop giving him chances? What should I do?â
âIâm saying maybe, you should take a chance this time around instead.â He smiled sweetly at you and continued to calmly clean his space.
âHuhâŠâ you mused. His words still confused you, but they did get your mind thinking about how else to perhaps coax him to tell you what he truly wanted.
As if on cue, your phone lit up and a message appeared. You had to rub your eyes and make sure you werenât dreaming; the alcohol running through your system sure made things seem rather surreal from time to time. When you were sure that the message hadnât disappeared, you picked your phone up to read what the contents were.
[SMS: cAN YOU cOME OVER NEXT wEEK??? i NEED TO tALK TO YOU??? ]
Seeing Simeon had taken the initiative to finally text you sent an exciting thrill through you. You had seriously thought about drunkenly texting him and demanding answers, but this was much better than your poorly thought out plan. His inability to text was still as bad as ever and you giggled at how silly the serious message seemed with the mismatched capitalization.
âHm? Now thatâs a lovely sound I didnât expect to hear. Did something good happen?â Asmo leaned over the counter when he noticed the change in your demeanor. It was as if the heavens had heard your thoughts and prayers, hoping he would contact you first. After having poured your heart out to the bartender, there was no way you werenât going to listen to his advice.
This was your chance and you were going to take it.
âYeah. He wants to meet up next week. I guess itâs time to take your advice to heart, huh.â
âIndeed. I hope it works out for you.â
âOh, I have a feeling it will.â
~~
It didnât feel like the week could go by fast enough. You finally had a reason to visit Simeon again. It was odd how quickly you missed him when you didnât have a purpose to go to his place. Before, you could excuse your weekly visits as work. Now that his book was complete, you couldnât find an excuse to see him unless he invited you over. To say you were excited to see his text was an understatement. You had hastily written a reply in your drunken state. The typos made you cringe when you looked at it the next day, but your meeting with him was still confirmed.
Your mind was mostly preoccupied with your visit. The work of your new clients piled up as you spent hours on end staring into space and imagining what you could do to him next. You had pushed him so far the last time you were with Lucifer, you had been sure he would be ready to break and just ask to take you, but that moment never happened.
You might have replayed the events of that night over and over again, trying to figure out where you went wrong. Eventually, you just became frustrated about things you couldnât change and focused on anything but your upcoming meeting with Simeon. Work was a great distraction and you found you were able to at least throw yourself into that until your appointed day came.
There was no reason to be nervous. You had been to his home multiple times, and with the things that had happened within those walls, you should have been completely shameless. You had an idea of what to propose to Simeon, should he be willing. It was a risk, but one that you were willing to take. It had taken a while for you to come to terms with the fact that there would come a time where you needed to just do things yourself if they were at a standstill.
Regardless of what convictions you had, your resolve wavered when you saw Lucifer open the door. For a moment a bit of anger flared within you. You despised how you were relying so much on this mysterious man to push your relationship with Simeon forward. Though you were grateful for everything he had done for the book as well as the amazing night he orchestrated as a celebration, you couldnât help but feel a little bitter when you saw him greet you yet again. Simeon hadnât mentioned Lucifer being present in his text to you and seeing the man threw your confidence off kilter, to say the least.
âWhy the long face? Am I poorly dressed?â He raised an amused brow at your involuntary pout.
âI uh⊠I just didnât expect you here is all.â You shrugged, trying to brush off the bitterness you felt and walked passed him to get inside. âI wasnât aware that Simeon invited you as well.â
Lucifer chuckled, already entertained by the energy in the room already. âWell, he asked me for a favor, and itâs very hard for me to resist helping him.â
âGreat. Thatâs lovely.â You deadpanned, taking off your shoes and walking into the common room. You blinked in confusion when you didnât see Simeon sitting at his usual spot on the couch. âSimeon?â you called out, wondering where he could have gone.
âHeâs not over there.â Lucifer leaned against a wall, waiting for you to get your bearings before he finally guided you in the right direction. âCome, follow me.â
He lead you up the stairs and down a hallway to a room you had never been allowed to be in before. Lucifer opened the door and ushered you into the dimly lit room. You let your eyes adjust to the darkness before a rustling noise on the bed in the corner of the room caught your attention. You could hardly believe your eyes at the vision before you.
âHeâs lovely no matter what he wears, isnât he?â Lucifer whispered into your ear, coming into the room behind you and quietly closing the door.
âY...yeah...â
Simeon squirmed. He disliked having so much attention aimed his way, especially if that attention was while he was dressed so scantily. Lucifer had once again outdone himself in setting up the scene. The sheer lacy lingerie clung to him like a second skin. The thigh high stockings held up by an elaborate garter belt only accentuated his assets. The sheer chiffon thong he wore hid nothing from your sight and you had a front row seat to his cock straining against the cage you put on him weeks ago. When he shifted, you noticed a glittering plug fit snugly into his ass. He was breathtaking in his get up and you could feel your cheeks burning from witnessing such a beautifully debauched scene.
âYou see, heâs been excited to show you this little getup this all week long. But he still needed a little help getting the last few details right.â Lucifer explained before he sauntered across the room and put the final touches onto the ensemble.
Simeon shifted to get on his knees if only to make it easier for Lucifer to place the bejeweled leather collar on his neck. The glittering lead dangled in front of him tantalizingly once the collar was securely on. He looked over at you expectantly, his eyes wide with an emotion you couldnât quite place.  âDo⊠do you like it?â
You nodded dumbly, stepping forward when Lucifer wordlessly coaxed you forward and offered the lead to the collar. It was surprisingly heavy, looking down, you noticed that it sparkled in the dim light due to all the crystals embedded in it. Your eyes followed the lead until you locked gazes with Simeon. He had the most beautiful pout on his face, his eyes wide and his lower lip stuck out, begging for you to kiss it.
You gave the lead an experimental little tug. As soon as he felt it, Simeon obediently got up and trotted over to where you stood. The immense amount of control you had over him was absolutely mind blowing. âIâve been wanting⊠to do something like this for a while now.â he admitted bashfully and turned his face to the side unable to keep eye contact any longer.
Taking his chin gently in your free hand, you shifted his gaze back to you. Hearing he wanted something like this to happen only made you more excited. Hopefully it meant that he was willing to open up a little more. It almost made up for the anger you felt at Luciferâs presence. Though it was upsetting that you couldnât coax his desires out of him on your own, you were glad he had reached this point at least. âTell me what else you want out of this.â You commanded, your thumb gently brushed against his cheek as if it could draw the answer out of his lips.
âI want...â He paused, lowering his gaze but your grip on his chin remained firm and he was looking at you once more with a little jerk of your hand. âI wantâŠâ Simeon couldnât seem to finish his sentence and he stuttered once again.
âI canât give you what you want if you wonât tell me.â You chided softly, tightening your grip on the lead and pulling him down until he was on his knees. Your hand on his chin moved to his hair, gently petting his soft locks before grabbing a fistful and making him wince a bit. âYouâll be a good boy and tell me, right?â You gave the lead a forceful tug, causing his neck to strain and he let out a stuttering breath.
âY-yes⊠Iâll be good.â
Your grip loosened enough to give him some reprieve. âAnd what is it that my precious angel wants?â
âI want you to⊠I want⊠Iwantyoutofuckmeplease.â His request came out in a rushed, run-on whisper. Once you pieced together what he said, your cheeks warmed at his candidness. You cleared your throat, trying to reassert the dominance you had acquired. From the corner of your eye, you could see Lucifer had made himself at home on Simeonâs bed. He lounged against the headboard, ready to step in if you needed him. For the time being, he was happy to take a back seat to the depravity Simeon was about to subject himself to.
âIs that what you want...â You mused, pretending to be calm, though your heart threatened to beat out of your chest. Truth be told, you had considered doing something like this after Asmoâs advice, but you never thought Simeon would offer such a thing to you. Well, might as well take whatâs givenâŠ
You gently pat his head and you swore he let out a quiet coo of content at the affection, though you couldnât be sure. Lucifer watching everything was distracting you from Simeonâs request. Admitting that you would have never gotten to this point without Luciferâs help frustrated you and it took away from the potential closeness of the moment if it had only been you and Simeon.
As if he could sense your unease, Simeon spoke up. âI asked him to be here⊠I trust him as much as I trust you.â He leaned his head into your hand, encouraging you to keep petting him. âPlease, use him as you wish.â
You turned to Lucifer and raised a brow, surprised that the CEO of Akuzon would ever agree to be submissive to anyone. The man on the bed only shrugged in reply. âHe asked for a favor, how could I say no. Have you seen the way he pouts? But it is as he says, I am at your command tonight.â
The shift in power had your head spinning. Both the men in the room were at your beck and call for the night. The final goal being fucking Simeon until he couldnât see straight. You pulled Simeon back on his feet and ran your hand down his abdomen to tease the cage that kept his cock bound. He whimpered, bit his lower lip and heaved a heavy sigh. He hoped you would be merciful if he pouted and showed you how needy he was; but it looked like you had no intentions of releasing his cock from its confines anytime soon. Then again, he didnât think he deserve that sort of sympathy from you, not after what he put you through.
âWell, I suppose I should get to work then, shouldnât I?â you purred. Having so much authority made you feel drunk and made your mind race all the ways you could take the beautiful man before you. You pulled him back up to his feet and pulled him into a quick kiss, careful to only give him a hint of the passion and love you had for him. âI think I have too many clothes on for what you want, so why donât you be a good little angel and help me out of them?â
Simeon was more than eager to comply. His fingers quickly flying to your blouse and worked the buttons off. His eyes burned with the same concentration he had whenever he was in the middle of writing an intense scene. He moved like a man on a mission and you were left in nothing but your undergarments quite quickly. âGood boy.â You praised, giving him another brief kiss and lead him back to the bed. âNow, are you sure about this? I donât want to hurt you if itâs not what you want.â
He nodded vigorously. âI want this⊠more than anything. I want to give you everything that I have⊠please take me.â
Your heart fluttered at his admission and your dominance faltered for a moment. âWell, if thatâs what you want, how could I ever deny you.â you purred once you had a moment to regain your composure. You looked over at Lucifer who was very clearly in on Simeonâs plan. âSomething tells me that know what to do next.â
âI thought youâd never call on me.â He got up from his place on the bed and walked over to a drawer. Once he retrieved what he needed, he beckoned you over and you complied after putting the lead to Simeonâs collar down.
From there, Lucifer helped you get fitted with the harness and made sure everything was on securely for you. He worked methodically, fully invested in making sure you were outfitted properly. When he was done, you needed a moment to get accustomed to the rather sizable strap-on you now sported. The heavy weight of the phallic object felt foreign to you and you half wondered how either of the men in the room dealt with something like this on a daily basis.
The straps of the harness hugged your thighs and your hips, keeping everything in its place so you wouldnât have to worry about anything slipping when you properly got things going. Idly, you reached down and stroked the silicone dildo hanging between your legs which elicited an amused chuckle from Lucifer. âWho knew my cock would look just as good on you as it does in you.â
You sputtered; honestly, you didnât know why you were even surprised. Of course he would have done something like this. Looking over to Simeon, you stalled for another moment, still hesitant on whether or not this was something he wanted. But, when he called for you with a needy little whine, you were reassured that this was exactly what he wanted.
âYou. Strip. In case I need you later.â You commanded to Lucifer before walking towards Simeon who was waiting so patiently for you.
Giving something for Lucifer to do meant you could focus solely on Simeon. âCome on, hands and knees now, love.â you urged, tugging on the tether to bring Simeon into the proper position. As if he could read your mind, Lucifer tossed you the bottle of lube and you fumbled to catch it.
Now that what he fantasized about was actually happening Simeon was more than eager to show you just how needy he was. His ass swayed gently from side to side as you floundered around with the bottle. It was the first time in weeks he had been touched by another person and everything you teased him with only added to his arousal. Precum oozed out of the tip of the cage, dribbling onto the sheets below. You hoped by the end of the night there would be a veritable puddle of his essence on the bed.
The thong he wore really wasnât holding anything up. It was a pretty, lacy thing, but utterly useless in practicality. It was easy to just undo the ties that held it up at his sides and toss the thing across the room. Now that you had better access to him, you assessed the glittering plug in his ass. âDid someone spend all week getting ready for this?â you crooned softly, tugging at it gently and drawing out a loud whine from as his tight hole was stimulated.
âY-yes⊠I want⊠I wantâŠ.â He whimpered, falling to his elbows. He had dreamed about this moment for days on end, now that he was experiencing it, his mind was reeling from all the sensations.
âSo greedy.â you chided, tugging at the plug harder and watched as his hole spread and stretch to make room for the toy you were slowly extracting from him.
Lucifer returned to the other side of the bed, fully nude and half hard. He laid back, not even a little bit shameful about how much he was enjoying the scene before him. His friend was so close to falling and accepting his fate, yet he was struggling with every fiber of being. It truly was endearing just how hard Simeon was trying to cling to his divinity all the while being so obscene. The human realmâs temptations were truly marvelous.
The plug released from his ass in a satisfying âpopâ and Simeon sighed in content, knowing what was to come soon. You marveled at the impressive girth of the plug before also tossing it to the side. It had served its use as preparation for the main event of the night.
You poured a generous amount of lube down his ass crack, ensuring that he was well covered with the slick substance before you entered him. Just as an extra precaution, you gingerly fingered his hole, slipping you fingers into him to test just how ready he was. He let out a long whine that turned into a moan as your fingers explored him. âPlease⊠donât tease me...â
âAww, sheâs just making sure you donât get hurt.â Lucifer reassured, stroking his friendâs hair. He had taken a hold of the leash, keeping Simeonâs head up so he could see every change of his friendâs expression all the while you drove him mad with just your fingers.
âI wonât, Iâve prepared all week for--- ahhhhâ His indignant quip was quickly silenced as you pressed the well lubed head of the dildo into him. No amount of preparation could have made him ready for the feeling of being stretched and filled by something so large.
You took it slow, still unsure of whether or not you were hurting him. While it was mesmerizing to see the dildo slowly disappear inch by inch into Simeon, you still worried that it could be too much. You could see Simeon clawing at the sheets below him as he accepted every inch of the phallic toy inside of him. It was so much more than a plug. It filled him in a way he never thought was possible and he nearly forgot to breathe if it werenât for Lucifer quietly reminding him to relax and take a breath from time to time.
It took a small eternity, but you eventually fit the whole toy inside of him. When you finally bottomed out, he heaved an earth shattering sigh and his shoulders visibly slouched for a moment before Lucifer once again brought his head upright. âGood boy.â You praised, patting his ass cheek lovingly before placing your hands firmly on his hips to keep him in place. He visibly shivered as your hips flexed and gave him an experimental thrust. âYou took that so well.â
Simeon only whimpered underneath you, pressing his ass back towards you, urging you to continue. You smirked, unable to get over just how much power you had over him. To know you were drawing these sorts of sounds and reactions from him only added to the high you were experiencing and  served to fuel your building arousal. As soon as you started a steady pace, you were quickly entranced at how readily his body was accepting the toy.
It felt amazing to dedicate his body to you. To give everything he had to the pleasure you could draw out of him. The moment you settled on a rhythmic thrusting pattern, he saw you as he knew you owned him as his master, his lover and his god all at once. There was no greater bliss than feeling the toy slide in and out of him, undoing him in spades as it rubbed against his prostate and made him sing.
Simeon keened and wailed, meeting every one of your thrusts by pushing his ass back against the toy. The cum dripping out from the tip of the cage soon flowed freely. He was sure he would have cum by now, but due to the restraints, he didnât know where his release began or ended. You became bolder with your strokes, fucking him harder with longer, deeper thrusts, making his moans fill the room and bounced off the walls.
âOh my⊠so loud...â You mused before slamming your hips into him and making him properly scream. âLucifer, be a dear and help me gag him, please. It would be a shame if the neighbors heard how dreadfully lewd heâs being.â
Lucifer sat up straight, a smirk spread on his face when he was at last being used for the explicit purpose to further Simeonâs pleasure. He got to his knees and used the lead to bring Simeonâs face to the same level as his cock. âWith pleasure.â He said, stroking Simeonâs hair. âCome now, you know what to do with that pretty mouth of yours.â
Simeon was beyond feeling shame. The lust coursing through his veins overran any sense of embarrassment he might have felt. His mouth eagerly opened to accept Luciferâs cock, lapping at the tip before wrapping his lips around it.
Lucifer groaned, his long lashes fluttering from finally getting a little bit of stimulation. The slack on the lead disappeared as he pulled on the collar harshly. The rough motion allowed his cock to slip all the way to the back of Simeonâs throat, effectively gagging him as you had requested. Hearing his newly muffled moans sounded like music to your ears.
Sensing that he was struggling to take so much all at once, you stopped what you were doing for Lucifer to get comfortable fucking Simeonâs mouth. Once you noticed his body relax and no longer tremble from being so overwhelmed, you went right back to fucking him until he was too exhausted to take anymore.
You got your wish. By the time he couldnât take anymore, there was a sizable pool of his cum on the sheets and yet his cock still leaked his essence. It looked painful straining against the cage, yet you looked at your handiwork with a sense of pride. Despite all the ecstasy he had felt, he still wasnât allowed a true climax. Until he said he wanted to put his dick in your cunt, you wouldnât give him the privilege of release. Glancing over at his face, you saw a mixture of Luciferâs cum and drool dribbling down Simeonâs chin. The sloppy mess on his face glistened in the dim light of the room. You couldnât deny, even in this defiled and debauched state, he was beautiful.
You were careful when you finally pulled the strap-on out of his ass, making sure to take your time and memorized every muffled whimper and moan that came from his occupied lips. Lucifer only extracted his cock from Simeonâs mouth when you gave him the permission to do so with a curt nod. He lovingly stroked his friendâs hair, smiling softly. He knew just how close Simeon was to falling, he could feel it. It would only take one last gentle push in the right direction.
Simeon gasped for air, remembering to roll over and avoid the mess he made. He sprawled on the sheets, staring at the ceiling and reeling in the sensations he just experienced. His whole body was sore, it felt like he had gone through a multitudes of highs with no end. He never reached the intense peak of a true climax, but with how much cum was on the sheets, he at least felt some sort of release from what you and Lucifer did. His asshole, though thoroughly abused by the extended fuck session still craved for more. Â
Even though he had given it all to you, it still didnât feel like it was enough to satiate his needs.
He had thought he would be free from his desires once he gave everything he had to you; but there was still a hollow ache of hunger that wasnât satisfied.
âYou did so well. That was amazing.â you purred, crawling over to where Simeon laid and kissing him deeply. Your tongue swiped across his swollen lips tasting him and traces of Lucifer before delving into the caverns of his mouth to get more. Your hand felt around for the lead to his collar and tugged slightly on it once you found it. His reacted immediately, intensifying the kiss and tilting his head to give you a better angle. Exhausted as he was, he was still willing to give you what you wanted. âWhat an obedient angel I have...â You breathed once the kiss was finally broken. âMy precious angel behaves so well.â
He stood at the point of no return. He was so close to crossing the line and all he needed was a little push.
âAh, an angel he might be, youâre still unsatisfied, arenât you?â Lucifer commented, his voice syrupy sweet as he slipped behind you and took both of your breasts in his hands. You gasped in surprise, having nearly forgotten he was even there while you focused on taking care of Simeon. While you were still gathering your composure, Lucifer swiftly undid the straps to the harness. In no time at all, it fell to the bed with a dull âthudâ before he unceremoniously shoved his fingers into your sopping wet heat.
Simeonâs eyes widened, barely believing what he was seeing. He had been so enraptured by his own pleasure he had forgotten about your own. The shame of not pleasing you washed over him and whatever bliss he felt was dashed away as he watched you writhe under Luciferâs grasp. With how drained his body was, he didnât have the strength to do anything but hopelessly watch as once again Lucifer was the one who could draw out true pleasure from you.
He regretted asking for help. He regretted trusting Lucifer. He regretted everything as he was forced to watch you moan and whimper for someone that wasnât him. Even if you owned him and everything that he was, that didnât mean he had a place in your heart.
Hot tears pricked his eyes as he was witnessed Luciferâs cock disappear over and over again into your pussy. Your pleasured moans would be branded into his memory. The bliss that was plastered all over your face was something he could never draw out of you. He could feel what trust he had in Lucifer crack and break with every thrust you eagerly accepted. The way you clung desperately to Lucifer as he railed you and the way your moans sounded was so much more raw than anything he could ever elicit from you. As he watched you cry out for a man not him, he felt a burning ember of rage grow within him. He would never be enough, no matter how much he gave.
His cock was prisoner to your whims and your rules. The one tenet he refused to break was what barred him from reaching paradise. The divine celestials seemed droll compared to the temptations you provided him every time he fell into bed with you.
No, no. Stop. Sheâs mine. Sheâs MINE. Stop. Please stop.
The hold you had on his lead fell when you came around Luciferâs cock. He never ceased to bring you to a violent orgasm with how he played your body like an instrument. You couldnât stay angry with him when he so easily turned you into a moaning mess with little to no effort. For as much as you craved Simeon, he offered an allure that was irresistible. Like a devil seducing you away from your goal, he shook your conviction and made you doubt if Simeon could ever be this good.
âOh, fuck⊠Lucifer.â you groaned, shuddering as your body was overtaken by your orgasm. You lifelessly fell forward, your whole body limp and used after such a good fuck. Lucifer wasnât too far behind and with a few more frantic thrusts, emptied himself within you. The envy Simeon felt when he saw cum that wasnât his own flood your pussy was absolutely indescribable. How unfair was it for you to own every bit of him, yet he could not stake his claim on you.
The rage within him boiled under his skin and he weakly reached out for you to cradle your listless body while you rode out your high. He glared at Lucifer who only smirked in return. Simeon protectively curled himself around you, holding you close. You let out a whine of protest when you felt your leg brush against the puddle of cold cum on the sheets, but quickly settled into his embrace. He wouldnât let the devil take you away, no matter how much he tempted you. No, he would do everything to guard you from that sin. Feeling you nest comfortably in his arms, he felt the anger within him subside, if only for a little bit.
Lucifer knew how to read the room and took the hint that he wasnât wanted, nor needed anymore. As far as he was concerned, his goal had been accomplished. He looked forward to the result of his goading in the upcoming days. All he had to do now was make a graceful exit. Luckily, being the busy man that he was, it was easy to pretend that he received an urgent text from his assistant as an excuse to leave the two of you alone. âItâs been a pleasure, as always.â he said before taking his leave.
You waited until you heard the front door close before you let your body fully relax into Simeonâs arms. âSo, was that what you wanted?â
âYes, all that and more.â he lied softly, burrowing his head into the crook of your neck before the two of you fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.
He was a step away from the edge and a this point, he was more than ready to take the fall.

Quand on Parle du Loup - Ikevamp (Jean, AU)
Fandom: Ikemen Vampire Pairing: Jean x female MC Warnings: ANGST. Blood, slight gore, horror, character death Summary: When a small village in 18th century France is stalked by a beast, at what price is peace bought? (~4k words, angst, historical/horror AU) Authorâs Note: Hey everyone, this was my piece for the @ikevampzineâ - the theme of the zine was âmythologyâ and so I opted to play around with the idea of the historical folklore surrounding the story of the Beast of GĂ©vaudan. (If you have never heard of it, go google it! Itâs a fascinating little interlude in history!) I was nervous because angst isnât my usual playground but I had a lot of fun with this. I was also blessed enough to collaborate with @beni-draw-ikemen-pleaseâ for some amazing art to go alongside it as well, and I thank her for being such a fantastic inspiration! Please see her full piece in all its glory at the end of this story!!
It slunk between the tables and conversations, stalked on silent paws the wisps of woodsmoke that curled from the blackened fireplace, and growled in the echo of every unsettled laugh that bounced back from the oaken rafters overhead.
Not here, not in the sense that mattered, but omnipresent. On everyoneâs lips and hearts and minds.
La BĂȘte
The Beast.
âI heard it took another shepherd last week, âround La Besseyre-Saint-Mary,â a snaggle-toothed man said quietly to his benchmate as she walked past, laden down by a heavy tray of food and drink. âSaints preserve us.â He crossed himself, and then spat on the tacky floor as if for good measure.Â
âSaints indeed. The Lord knows we need all the help we can get,â his companion agreed with a rueful twist of his lips. âI thought it was gone for sure, after the marquisâ men caught that big âun and showed it off. It went quiet for awhileâŠbut the past couple of months havenât been so quiet, have they? They must have had the wrong wolf.â
âDid you ever notice thoughâŠâ The first man broke off, casting his eye about suspiciously, before leaning towards his companion conspiratorially, his voice dropping low enough that she struggled to listen in. âThings really only seem bad around the full moon? Unnatural, I tell you. They say itâs just a wolf, but Iâm not so sure.â
Shaking her head at their superstition, she breezed past, angling for the darkness of a corner sequestered far from the light and liveliness of the fireplace. The table she finally stopped at was occupied by only one man - unusual at this busy hour, but no matter how many times sheâd seen him come in he always sat alone. Perhaps it was the heavy air he gave off, the way his thoughts seemed walled away behind the tooled leather of an eyepatch. Or perhaps it was the gleaming sword strapped to his hip, and the fine cut of clothing above it. Far finer than any rough homespun worn around these parts.
Everyone else had given him a wide berth since heâd rolled into town some six months back in the employ of the Marquis dâApcher - as some sort of sellsword, they all had assumed. That hadnât stopped him from coming to the tavern regularly though, despite their disdain, a pattern that screamed of perpetual bachelorhood.
âMonsieur Jean.â She set his usual beer and bowl of stew down in front of him, along with her usual smile.
He offered her his usual reserved reply. âPlease. Just Jean is fine.â
âVery wellâŠâJust Jeanâ.â It was a ridiculous joke, the same exchange they had nearly every evening, and yet she continued to toss it at him because it never failed to bring a spark of something to his dark eyes. Like summer lightning folded deep within bruised thunderheads. A secret swift flash that brought her inordinate pride.
At a nearby table, voices raised again, cursing the evil that stalked their town, and she caught a wince tightening the lines of Jeanâs mouth.
âTheyâre talking about it again. I mean, what else do they ever talk about?â She shifted her weight and leaned a hip against the scarred tabletop so that she could bend enough to keep their conversation close. âSaid someone disappeared the next village over. But youâll find it,â she told him. She was certain that hunting the beast that terrorized their land was the only thing that would bring a man like him to a sleepy village like this - and was certain he was as frustrated as the rest of them with the lack of progress.
âPerhaps.â His soft murmur of agreement barely carried over the din, and she wondered if she had only imagined the thread of melancholy stitched within it.
Unthinking, she laid her hand over his to squeeze it reassuringly, and then froze when she realized what she had done. Waiting for him to pull his own back and brick himself once more behind the bulwark of silence he always sheltered behind. There was a faint flex, the dance of tension in his fingersâŠbut to her utter surprise he didnât move. He didnât turn his hand over to receive her gesture - but he didnât reject it either.Â
She looked up from their layered fingers to find his gaze, for once, fixed squarely on hers, and it was dizzying to be the unwavering subject of that midnight intensity.
âTomorrow is the Sabbath,â he began, almost hesitantly. âAfter church, are you free?â There was an awkward beat where she wondered what his intentions were exactly in asking, before he seemed to sense her confusion and hastened to fill the loaded silence, slipping his hand from beneath hers to wrap them both around his mug. âI noticed you often walk alone. Itâs not safe, least of all now. I thought...perhapsâŠI could show you a few ways to keep yourself safer.â
âYouâd be willing to do that?â She blinked, taken aback by his unexpected offer.Â
His gaze shifted back to the ale between his hands, the barest ripple of a shrug moving across his frame. âIt was just a thought. You are free to refuse.â
âIâm not saying no,â she hurried to answer. âThatâd be very kind of you. To be honest, it is terrifying. But I also wish there was something I could do too, if I came across the beast. I know itâs ridiculous to think that one tavern wench could-â
âIâve seen stranger things.â His interjection cut her self-depreciation off, and when she searched his face there was no mockery there. Only an earnest, fervent sort of frankness that humbled her. âIt takes only a single grain of sand to tip a scale. One soldier to win a war.â
She had to duck her head then, to keep him from seeing the pleased smile that plucked at her lips. âAll right, then I accept. Thank you.â
------
The sun had climbed high by the time church let out, pressing down on her shoulders like the weight of a hot heavy hand. Against the golden backdrop of an autumn field, Jean stood dark like a drop of ink, as cool and composed as ever where he leaned against the low stone wall.
âYou came again.â
She had to wonder at the way he sounded almost surprised. This was the third week they had met like this now, after his first offer nearly a month ago. âOf course I came. Thereâs too much going on for me to just...not.âÂ
He made a small noncommittal sound and then crossed towards her, his long legs eating up the distance. âDo you remember where we left off last time?â he asked, immediately all business. In his hand was the spear that had rested beside him and he offered it to her, haft first, the keen edge of its spade-tipped head winking coolly in the hot sun.Â
She nodded and took it hesitantly, adjusting her grip on the grain of the handle until it felt comfortable in her hand. âI think so.â The spear is the weapon of the humble, he had told her on that first day. It is the great equalizer.
There was a stack of hay nearby and she turned to it, setting her jaw as she ran over their past lessons in her mind, Jeanâs calm voice echoing in her recollections.
Set your feet.
Keep your weight toward your toes.
Bend your knees, hands shoulder-width apart.Â
She drew a breath that carried the sweet smell of drying grass with it and lashed out with the tip, slicing a few of the nearest blades neatly off. Â
âYour balance is good. Youâve been practicing. But -â He stepped behind her, arms braced alongside hers for support, hands resting atop her own until they were cradling the spear in their shared grip. âAlways keep your lead arm steady.â
He guided her again into a careful stroke to illustrate, and she was reminded that this was a man who had made a life of war. In the muted strength of his grip, in the tensile musculature of the frame that bracketed her own, was the testament to a body flayed by battle into something pure of purpose.Â
Beneath their combined hands, the fluid arc of her swing trimmed another few inches from the hay bales effortlessly.
His tiny grunt of exertion brushed over the sweat-clung curls at the nape of her neck, warm and cool at the same time, and she was abruptly aware of how close they were. The slightest turn of her head brought his face into view, scarcely more than a murmur away from her own, and she froze.
His skin was flawless, almost porcelain in its perfection save for whatever flaw lay behind that eyepatch. His features classic and refined. When she had first seen Jean, in the low light of the tavern, she had mistaken him for a woman - a mistake only corrected when she had heard his mild baritone.Â
Yet even under the unflinching midday sun, he was still something undefinable. Beauty freed from the restriction of labels. As transcendent and timeless as the faces of the angels she saw in church every Sunday, carved of marble and of stained glass, perched on windows and above the pews watching over the parishioners. Divine and touched by God.
Her heart forgot how to keep its own time as the dark lashes on his good eye swept up, and the night sky of his gaze warmed ever so slightly as it met hers, like the slow break of dawn.
They both stalled, and the hand curled above the flare of her hip suddenly seemed to burn her through so many layers of cloth as the thought occurred to her that all she had to do was lean and she would finally know what those elegant lips felt like against her own.
âWhy are you doing this?â she asked to distract herself from the temptation, her half breathless words giving voice to the question that had plagued her the past few weeks. âWhy teach me all this?â
He dropped her hand and took a swift, safe step back, raking unsteady fingers through his long hair. For long moments she thought he wouldnât answer at all, before he finally spoke. âHave you heard of the loup-garou?â
âA man, that becomes a wolf.â It would have been impossible not to, given the wild stories that passed through the lips of drunken men. âSurely youâre not saying...â She began on a laugh, but it withered away to nothing when his face remained impassive.
âThe loup-garou is a scourge. A wolf but not, a man but not. Smarter, stronger, faster than any beast framed by the hand of God. It is the devilâs work.â Jean practically spat the words as he prowled a deliberate step forward, and she had to fight the urge to take an answering one back. His eye fixed on hers, hard and dark and cutting as a flake of obsidian. âA wretched cursed thing, damned to crave flesh. They say -â He broke off, almost as if wrestling with something, before finishing his thought. âThey say it kills those it loves first.â
She licked dry lips, and tried to find her voice. âHow do you stop it?â
He gestured toward the weapon in her hands with a rueful lilt to his words. âA sharp blade, and a lot of luck.â
âI donât believe in monsters.â She shook her head vehemently, as if she could wish the idea away if she only denied it hard enough. Wish away all those dark grumblings that swirled around the tavern each night. âA wolf is a wolf is a wolf. God would not be so cruel as to damn a soul like that.â
A smile crossed his face then, quick and fleeting and full of something so akin to despair that it seemed more a grimace to her. âHumor me then, mademoiselle. Believe it or donât, as you see fit.â He pressed the spear into her lax hands, until she was forced to grip it tighter. Cold and ominous, like a length of ice in her curled fingers. âBut let us both agree that God helps those who help themselves.âÂ
------
The moon hung high when she left the tavern late the following night. Round and pendulous, it stared at her from between the trees as she waved a goodbye to the tavernkeep and tugged on the leather gloves sheâd had tucked in a pocket.Â
Shadows crawled across the dirt track that led toward her house on the fringe of the small village, in time with the swaying of the trees overhead, and the breeze they danced on waltzed with the ends of her hair as well, loosened by the eveningâs toils. As she turned to pick up the stave leaning beside the back door, a far-off owl let out a melancholy trill.
It was all very tranquil, and she felt more than a bit foolish as she walked, armed to the teeth with weapons she scarcely knew how to use and jumping at every sound.Â
Then, in the distance - a sound that raked cold claws down her spine.
The cresting ululation of a wolfâs howl.
Even without Jeanâs fanciful tales, the sound sank a quarrel of panic into the base part of her brain, the one still firmly rooted in a time where mankind was decidedly prey and not predator. She tightened her grip on the haft she held so that she wouldnât notice her own trembling fingers, and pressed on.
Then it came again, from the next rise nearer. Echoing down the gully and wood, as if funneled straight to her.Â
As if whatever dreadful throat had borne that sound were coming straight toward her.
Her footfalls turned over faster, racing the occasional scudding cloud overhead as fear prodded her on, her heart squeezing out beat after frenzied beat from within the confines of her throat. The leather of her gloves grew slick inside with sweat from her palm, and she switched her grip on the spear to her other hand, flexing away the clammy dampness as best she could.Â
Almost home, almost home...she clung to the little litany, as the howling drew closer and underbrush crackled off in the distance.
She saw the eyes first.
Flickering between the bushes like flames, the faint dry-bone rasp of dead brush accompanying it as it paced her effortlessly. A time or two it disappeared and she was left running alone, her heart pounding so hard it scarcely felt as if it had unclenched enough to take another beat - only for those ghastly twin fires to reignite, moments later, on the other side. Back and forth, back and forth, until a sudden realization had the prickles of a cold sweat break out on her back.
Mother of God...it was toying with her. As if it were some great cat rather than a wolf, amusing itself with her attempts to escape. Feeding off her fear as if it were an amuse bouche. The delectable prequel to a feast.
This, more than anything, convinced her that Jean had been right. ThisâŠthis beast...was no creature of God.Â
This was something born of hell. Nature marred by the devilâs own fingerprints.
Maybe that was the realization that finally turned her spine to steel. Jean had been right about the wolf - and that meant perhaps he had been right about her. He knew she could handle herself.
A single grain of sand.
Her feet scuffed lightly on the dirt of the path as she skidded to an abrupt halt, the sound of her own ragged breath the only thing filling her ears. Whatever the creature was, wherever the creature was, it seemed to be content to simply watch. And wait.
"Show yourself." She hated the tiny tremor that wove itself into her voice. Hated more the ridiculous inexplicable feeling that the creature might somehow understand her.Â
It came, after a breath held so long her lungs began to ache. Parting the underbrush like a leviathan breaching the sea, black as sin with brimstone eyes. A mouthful of bristling fangs and a growl that scraped painfully deep on the ears, like the slow crumble of a mountain. It paced forward until the watery light shone on it fully, and she couldnât have stifled the gasp that left her if she tried at the sheer size of it.
Against the inside of her ribs, her heart bruised itself painfully, and the fingers that clutched at her stave gripped it ever tighter, fighting against the terror that numbed them. The first few syllables of a Hail Mary tumbled from her lips, unbidden, to spill between them.
The beast paced the liminal wash of moonlight restlessly, dappled by shadow. A step toward her and then a turn back, pausing on occasion to sway its great shaggy head. The faintest of whines escaped the cage of its teeth, its ears pinned back flat to its skull as it met her eyes and stood, nearly motionless, fine tremors quaking its back as if shaking away the irritation of invisible flies.
She held that monstrous gaze, and it felt like walking into an open flame. Scorching and breathless as if the gates of hell swept themselves open to usher her in.
âWhat do you want?â she asked. It remained motionless, and the repetition tore itself from her throat, her voice breaking lest her nerve did. âWhat do you want?!âÂ
It didnât answer, of course. The only thing her voice did was to snap whatever indecisive spell it had seemed to linger under.Â
In a blink, the wolf leapt, and time seemed to perch on a glassine pedestal. So many things whirling at once until the moment shattered into countless shards, past and present and future all splintered and shuffled, like a broken mirror at her feet. Offering tiny refractions without answers.
The dark shape of the beast, blotting out the moon.
A howl, mournful and defiant, raking ragged claws across her concentration to shred it.
A slavering maw gaping open like the summation of all her misdeeds, snarling and ready to swallow her whole.
Then.Â
A hand over her own, firm and steadying.
The sweet hot waft of hay in the sun, and a voice like clover honey in her ear, saying -
Set your feet. Set your feet.
Set your feet.
She did, and the rest of the motion flowed unquestioningly, earned over so many late-summer afternoons. The hard wood biting into her ribcage, nearly knocking the wind out of her as she took the brunt of the beastâs pounce squarely on the point. A strange sort of resistance that shivered up the shaft she held, until it punched through on a sucking, wet-clay sound, grating nauseatingly against bone as it went. Crimson bloomed and ran down the wood onto her arms, dripping from the beast and her own elbow, red-black as the secret heart of an unfurling rose. Splashing and scattering about like crushed petals to pit the dusty ground beneath her feet.
Teeth snapped shut inches from her face, pink and frothed with blood. And above it all, the tip of the spear gleaming proud and defiant, coated in gore and fur where it sprouted from the back of the beast.
With her hands slick, she couldnât keep her grip against the weight of the wolf, and she and the spear crashed to the ground. She rolled over onto her knees in a rush and found the wolf lying nearby, panting as it strained and thrashed, great claws gouging furrows in the dirt as it fought - for freedom from the weapon that pierced it, perhaps. For purchase, as it still strained towards her. For life, as it railed against the slow dim of that feral light in its eyes.
She watched, transfixed, as its great bulk seemed to fold in on itself. Fangs blunting, claws shrinking, limbs stretching and fur receding until in the road, gasping against a spreading backdrop of scarlet, lay the truth she knew sheâd been running from this whole time.
âThank God. Oh...thank God.â The words left Jean on a broken sigh, soft as the brush of an angelâs pinfeathers.
She crawled to his side, heedless of the pebble strewn dirt that bit savagely into her palms and knees. âJean, I -â
She what? There were a hundred ways to end that sentence and not a single one managed to rise out of the maelstrom of emotions that gripped her, twisting hot and tight in her chest, surging to beat at the back of her eyes. Her hands fluttered insecurely above him, unsure of where to land or what to do, before she lifted his head onto her lap and brushed sweat-matted strands from his face.Â
There were stars in his eyes, she saw, as his gaze struggled to find hers. Not just a reflection of those wheeling overhead, but tiny flecks of pallor in the twilight of them that she had never noticed before - constellations trapped within his unfocused stare.Â
âForgive me.â His voice was the barest tattered thread of sound, and even that small effort set him coughing, blood bubbling around the shaft still impaled in his chest like the ghastliest of blooms. âForgive me for saying this but...I am so glad it was you. I knew it would be.â
His hand shook and tried to reach for her, falling weakly back against his stomach until she snatched it up and clenched it tight within her grasp. Heedless of the heartsblood that coated it like a glove, far warmer than the chilled flesh beneath. âHow did you know that?â
A full smile graced his lips, the first she had ever seen, achingly beautiful despite the agonized clench of his teeth. âI knew exactly who his prey would be.â
The slick fingers tangled between her own tightened, squeezing meaningfully, though the gasp that tore through him belied how much even that small motion cost - and the pain that lanced her heart at the implication of his words made it feel almost as if it were she that had been run through.Â
He shivered, though the night wasnât cold, and the pulse at his wrist fluttered faster against her fingertips. Erratic, like the shake of a fledgling's wings before flight. âIf God is merciful..â His clear eyes slowly clouded. âM-may He grant we meet again.â
Before she could answer, he sighed one more breath - and then stilled.
âNo. No, no, noâŠâ But there was no denying the truth, no matter how bitterly it sat on her tongue. Mixing harsh with the salt of the tears that ran down her cheeks. She held a dead man, in wretched mimicry of a loverâs embrace, and wept a pieta over the clay that had bound him to this nightmare - the unblinking moon above the only other witness to just what price his freedom.

Hantober Day 10
Choir Practice: Favorite song that reminds you of Jumin.
I made a playlist actually đ
I went overboard and tried to include songs fitting of every significant moment of his life in chronological order, including the bad endings and even when he crashed Seven's car... ending with the Good Ending.
If you are going to listen to this I have to warn you, it has 2 songs that touch on the bad ending 2 and can be triggering for some people: Lullaby from The Cure which is more metaphorical and Prison Sex by Tool whose lyrics are very graphic. Listen at your own risk and take care.
But here I want to talk about the first song on the playlist that sorts of encapsulates Jumin's life and what meeting MC means to him.
The song I'm talking about is Lateralus, also from Tool, which has the particularity of relying heavily on the Fibonacci sequence both in the metric of the syllables and in the meaning of the song. This is a song about grow.
If you have never heard about the Fibonacci sequence, also known as The Golden Ratio, I recommend to you to watch all these videos on YouTube talking about it because is something super interesting!
Basically The Fibonacci sequence is the mathematic that you can find in the nature, which goes like this:
0+1 =
1+1= 2
2+1= 3
3+2= 5
5+3= 8
8+5= 13 and so on...
Theses numbers when put on a graphic look like this: a spiral
A grad student made a video about the Fibonacci in Lateralus for a project and there it's infinitely better explained of what can I do here, but sadly the video was taken down, what I could find is this same video from someone who reposted it.
youtube
I want to encourage you to watch it so you can understand better how the lyrics match with Jumin's life:
Black/ 0+ 1 =
then /+1 =
white are/ 2 + 1 =
all I see/ 3 +Â 2 =
in my infancy/ 5 + 3 = 8
This is like a perfect description of Jumin's life growing up and raised like a businessman, with no place to emotions and creativity
Red and yellow then came to be/ 8 - 3=
reaching out to me/ 5Â - 2 =
Lets me see/ 3
Red and yellow could stand for V and Rika. They showed him another way for things to be: these are the colors more vibrant in the rainbow. Trough them Jumin got to experience friendship and love. And they "came came to him, reaching out to him" he didn't went looking out for them.
As below, so above and beyond, I imagine/ 13 - 5 =
Drawn beyond the lines of reason/ 8 - 3=
Push the envelope/ 5 -2 =Â
Watch it bend 3
Below, above, beyond: the lyrics are describing the dimensions of a box, that's the envelope to push made by "the lines of reason". Also note how the number of syllables were in crescendo, but now they are descending, why? What is stopping the spiral from growing? What is stopping Jumin? The answer is in the following chorus:Â
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind
Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines
Then we have the repetition of the same verses and the chorus + the following verses
There is (2)
so (1)
much (1)
more and (2)
beckons me (3)
to look through to these (5)
infinite possibilities (8)
The next verse marks the moment the song changes, it stops counting syllables and with it both the song and the lyrics go in an endless crescendo...
Feed my will to feel this momentÂ
Urging me to cross the line
Reaching out to embrace the random
Reaching out to embrace whatever may come
A thing I haven't noticed, but I do now as I'm writing this is that the voice and the style of the singing also changes here. Up to this point was kinda robotic but here is really soft, in awe, you can feel the sincerity of the singer in his voice. If I had to parallel this moment in the song to one in Jumin's route it definitely would be when he tells you about his threads at 2 am. It's my favourite moment in the whole song, as I imagine Jumin saying those words:
I embrace my desire to
I embrace my desire to
Feel the rhythm, to feel connected
Enough to step aside and weep like a widow
To feel inspired
To fathom the power
To witness the beauty
To bathe in the fountain
To swing on the spiral
Swing on the spiral
Of our divinityÂ
And still be a human
With my feet upon the ground I lose myself
Between the sounds and open wide to suck it in
(He complained about the noise, remember the standing alone in an empty field? The noise is no longer noise, is "sounds" , "words have a meaning once they reach you"
I feel it move across my skin
(He didn't liked to be touched)
I'm reaching up and reaching out
(He is out of the box, or the cage?)
I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me
What ever will bewilder me
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been
Spiral out, keep going
Translation of all of this? Why I put it at the beginning of the playlist?
Well...
Because of the heavy trauma he received in his early years, Jumin had to rely on rationality and logic to conduct his life (V called him "scientist" and Rika said she wanted for him to find the perfect balance between emotions and logic). Thus ignoring emotions but also his inner intuition, his gut feeling. (Update after the dlc: Now we know the big part his mother also played in this)
Because Jumin's trauma is in direct relation to his body, Jumin tried to distance as far as he could from it and treating it as a machine ("separating the body from the mind"). He mentions how loose clothes make him uncomfortable "because he needs a constant restraint all the time" (if corsets for men were an item you can bet Jumin would wear one) Â which leads to his body speaking to him in the way of symptoms: this symptoms are the headaches, the numbness he says he feels in the dlc, the feeling of drowning, etc...
Basically, his body (wether by his emotions, gut feelings or directly through his headaches and mild-amnesia) is desperately trying to talk to him and Jumin is doing everything he can to not listen to it, because he isn't ready for it yet, because these are years and years of unspoken trauma trying to hit him at once (this is why therapy is important! Guys!) .
So Jumin rationalizes things: he must be having headaches because he ate something bad, or the temperature in the room is below 2 grades, and V must be distant because he is still grieving, not because he is hiding something, not for what Yoosung is telling everyone. And Yoosung is also grieving, so that's why he's acting like this.
And Rika was V's fiance, so he couldn't have feelings for her
All of this changes when he meets MC: first she doesn't treat him as a robot like everybody else, but as person with feelings and with a right to feel and express those feelings, and second and (maybe) more importantly: she doesn't allow him to project his own emotions onto her (as he did with Elizabeth) thus Jumin doesn't have any other option that confront his own emotions, to recognize those feelings as his own⊠and this scares him to death, but he has to do it if he wants to be with her.
And this, that this battle is for her and for a future with her, is what gives him strength.
Now, onto the song again, Jumin has to listen to his body to do this, he has to decipher what is trying to tell him "Why im feeling like this?" "Why I acted this way". There's another song, also from Tool ("Forty Six & 2") that goes deeper in this process Jumin has to do "I want to know what I've been hiding in my shadow (...) Listen to my muscle memory"
It can't be only raw emotion because that's the bad ending 2 (or he stealing Seven's car), both mind and body had to work together (or to say it in the words of the song, the body can't be keep separated from the mind) for the well being of the person. And if it's in the natural design of things to tend to expansion and growth, why we'll be different? This is to live riding the spiral: self awareness.
"Swing on the spiral
Of our divinityÂ
And still be a human"
And the best part of all of these? Once this big rock is out the way?Â
Now he can allow himself to feel everything! Both the good and the bad, his love for MC, his friendship for the RFA, and by him now being better, he can also be a better, more honest friend to those he loves. And by being more honest, he can now help them to get on their feet again just as MC helped him, and accept help from them . Without fear.
"We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been"
And that's why I love this song and Jumin Han.

Note: So this didn't came out as I wanted :/ (that's why I couldn't post it like 1 month ago), but that's kinda of the point of the song I guess? đ
Certain things can not be explained, only experienced and when you try to dissect them (overanalyzing) they lost something very important in the process. Even the same phenomenon doesn't guarantee the same experience for different individuals... But that's the good thing in the end đ
How boring life would be if we all experienced the world in the same way...
#literally forcing myself to post this... why I'm so bad with words??#I hope the general idea is somehow clear?? anyway the beast... is done...
