- She's rich and flirty, If you wore a pacific outfit or jewelry that she bought for you she will flirt with you, Her reason is because you look amazing and that she thinks your cute when your face is red~

- Since she's the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing she's often very busy doing errands, business meetings and some duties outside of being a Tiaquan. But it doesn't mean that she neglects you, she actually makes time for you and prepares special dates and gifts just for you~

My thoughts about Fontaine? It is pretty different from all the other regions, after sumeru, the lack of greenery kinda hit me. Definitely more advanced architecture, I'm still on the fence about the steampunk aesthetics, while I love it, I feel it can be overused in the wrong aspects and just feel out of place. Fontaine definitely has a lot going on already, but I like the grandness it radiates.

As for the characters, I'm really in love with focalor, ferminet's and clorinde's designs, I feel like they fit well especially for their characters. I genuinely like all the female characters' outfits, however, most of the male designs are a little too extravagant, at least for me. It's not too bad though. I feel like Lyney's character could use more accents for his bottom half and maybe a few minor changes (I wish he inherited the ears and tail shsgdh) but the fan art I've seen does him justice! I love the theme behind his character, it gives me mischievous vibes, he could do a lot with the power of deception. My opinions may change once I see them more in game tho.

I really can't wait for the story! I hope it's very intense, I'm so ready for all the trials and tribulations (🤭) and I hope we see more of arlecchino. I don't play genshin due to storage reasons but I try to keep up with videos so I may not know the full scope of everything but feel free to chat about anything you wish^^

Hello!!! Wahghh this means a lot to me, you don’t even kno. Makes me feel fuzzy and happy inside ;o;

I remember I first got into painting bgs when I was in a big art block, but I was also nervous to make the plunge myself!! I painted bgs pre 2020 but usually they were like a placeholder/afterthought bc of this fdggbfhdnjf LOL; but I was really inspired by twitter artists like Diesel2b and koichame (and many others) who put so much care into their compositions, and I wanted to start doing that too!

Hmm! For starters, I guess it would be good to start with something you would like to focus on, what types of bg you would enjoy drawing + a goal of where you want to take your paintings! (Not necessarily art style per se, but a direction to head in)

Soft pastel colors but also vibrant in spots’

A quote I wrote in my planner in February LOL. If you look at my older works, I guess the vibrancy was there, but at the same time it was dull. I didn’t understand how colors worked without the help of premade swatches and such, altho I wanted to know badly, so I made this my goal!

This direction could be as specific as mine, but it could also be broad, like "I'd like my paintings to be realistic" or "I wanna learn how to paint mountains, trees and foliage" etc etc.

With this goal in mind, I started to take screenshots of different zones from Genshin Impact, and used those for reference in my bgs. Pretty much anything that caught my eye; a nice sunset, the view of Celestia from the pillar in Dragonspine, the patterns on The Golden House, etc etc.

Around the same time, I bought a brush pack called the Sumi brush pack by TheOneWithBear https://graphixly.com/products/theonewithbear-sumi-brush-pack-for-clip-studio-paint

And altho I definitely am not using them as intended since they were created for ink styled drawings lol, I found I had a lot of fun playing around with them in my bgs!

I said this in an earlier ask, but honestly embrace inconsistency + try new things in each of your paintings! If we stick to one way of doing a certain thing all the time, our brain will get good at doing that one thing, but I think our growth slows if we get too much in our comfort zone. Style will come naturally! It’s hard to force. So go with the flow, and you will surprise yourself!

After a while of using references, I started to veer away from that and was able to make my own compositions, and am having a lot more fun with colors now too!

Even if the outcome for some of your paintings are bad as you’re starting out, don’t beat yourself up about it. I have a zillion unfinished wips myself; I spent 2 months trying to draw a Kokomi piece I was proud of bc I couldn’t get her likeness right. Of the 6-7 sketches I made, I was only happy with 2!

(tldr:

1. Come up with a goal/direction to take your art in

2. Do self-study/life study! Usually drawing/painting things from real life helps us get a grasp of how stuff works, so its easier to paint. I also like to do studies from Genshin Impact for fun too tho.

I hope my rambles will help in one way or another. I'm not a spectacular teacher, because even I still have much to learn, but these are some things I wish I heard when I was starting out! ^^

Also I don't have the best attention span - while writing this I'm circling between 4 different apps - and I'm a bit of a mess. And also a little stupid. Just a smidge dumb. But I have my moments - I solved like. 2 puzzles in Inazuma by myself so I think that counts for something. I also find that I tend to talk a whole lot when I have an idea or smthn to say abt a thing I'm super interested in!! That's info-dumping. I info dump. Yes. I also really like to listen to other people talk abt things they like!!!! Its so nice :) I'm protective over people I care about!! I've never done it but 100% would bark at someone who messed with someone close to be. Arf arf yaknow. I tend to he impulsive. I'll do something, and be all "YEAH>:D" and then regret it later. And then I'll do it all over again in a fun little cycle :) I consider myself an optimist, but quickly turn into a pessimist whenever it concerns myself. Fun funfun. Should probably mention that I am. A very insecure person w/ dangerously low self esteem, which is super fun esp when you mix that with the fact that I'm rarely ever motivated to improve. Yayayay Also sort of a pushover?? Like most often than not I'll be convinced to do something, even if I'm not too keen on doing it. Also afraid of confrontation when it comes to my friends and strangers (that is, if it's concerning me!! I'll order smthn for my friend but if I need to order for myself?? uhh stutter time aha). I'm also a mega simp ahah! Srsly though if I fall for someone/get infatuated with someone I. Will be so obvious abt it even though I try very hard not to be. Would gush over that person probably. I don't really like mean people tbh. Like yes I'll be nice and civil with them but!!! I cannot stand!!! Rude people!!! Esp when they're mean for no reason like sir??? maam??? homie??? chill pls ty<3 People who aren't necessarily mean, but moreso have bastard energy and are just really "hehe>:D" but playfully are p poggers tho!!! I think I get along with kids!! I have a little sister,, around like. Nine? And we get along really well!! I also try and match a kid's energy whenever I'm tasked with looking after them. I take pride in the fact that kids like me >:].... even if they sometimes scare me-- Ok, interest time!!

I like art!! Quite a bit!! Less of a realistic artist and more of a cartoonist!! Idk there's just something fun abt drawing cartoons, hehe. I also like self ships - I have quite a bit of them, actually ! Idk its comforting drawings your fictional crushes loving you idkidk. I like writing too! Both original stories, and one-shots or personal fics that are associated with already created media!! Writing character backstories and personalities and stuff is also fun too! I've even made my own fictional world with a full fledged backstory n everything! It's very fun to think about. I'm a day dreamer!!! Yea remember when I said I write stories? I day dream abt potential stories even more. Mmm daydream world so nice so warm so fun I read aswell!! Mostly fantasy books, or stories where animals are the protagonists. Think Warrior Cats. But my favorite book series has got to be Guardians of Ga'Hoole. Fantasy owl books, anyway! X Readers are also things I enjoy reading :) Again, s I m p Also gaming!!! Is something fun I do sometimes!!! Although it's usually Genshin Impact, or Wii Sports/Resort w// my little sister. Oh, also pokemon! I rlly like Primarina, Vaporeon, Sylveon and Vulpix/Ninetails! I absolutely adore sweet foods, and baking is smthn I'm def interested in! Don't like foods w// weird textures though, like beans or mashed potatoes. Also I. Love spice so much. Mmm love it when my mouth burns so bad. Don't have a favorite animal but I've had three cats in my lifetime (btw not important but my current cat is named Sylvester and. He's my baby boy) so I am. A very big cat fan. Probably not needed but I really like sword and claymore characters. Literally all of the characters I main are either sword or claymore users. Although I did get Diona, so I miiight start forcing myself to learn how to aimmm. I see that I tend to like people/characters that are a little more extroverted than me. Upbeat, happy type beat!!! Wow your brain is incredible! I never liked theories in either Physics or Math but the practical parts and numerical analyses were always my strong point... Bio + Chem both made much more sense than any law or theory I have ever studied during the few years I had with Physics haha Ah, ok; I was confused as to whether it applied to blinding pink alone or other striking colours too! - ❄️

and yes, social anthropology is the same as socio-cultural anthropology but its just a different name i suppose. it is kinda intimidating, in the sense where there’s always a million different aspects of something to think about and to consider whenever you’re talking about anything, nothing is ever just as it is which gets a little frustrating sometimes bc its soooo open-ended haha but its definitely super interesting because of that! and you’re right, it’s super close to psychology too! a lot of my mates do like... soc. anthro with psychology or choose psych modules bc it ties in a lot with the main module, which is really cool! i think psychology is super interesting too, and some days i really wish i’d chosen it as a major instead hahaha

but omg noo my brain isnt incredible, i just really enjoy maths and so physics naturally as well, i wouldn’t say chem and bio were difficult subjects for me, but i just found them so boring compared to the rest that i never wanted to try 😭😭

The moon!! She is such a beautiful entity and as my queen I respect her so much. I’m aware of the saying “you are the sun, your world revolves around you.” I do agree you need to remember you are important but I still end up resonating with the moon much more haha 😂 I feel like, I’m a night owl and I much prefer night over daytime. I feel safe in the night, and the moon always watched over me. She is a safe space to me even if that’s strange to say or may not make sense to anyone else. I feel safe in confiding in her.

8. Do you believe in guardian angels?

I do actually! I’ve always grown up believing in them as my mom does too, she went shared her experiences with me about how she felt she had been in the presence of a guardian angel before. I believe we do have angels watching over us. As for how they watch over us I don’t know.

10. What is something (or someone) you’re in love with?

Well something would be drawing, and gaming. I love drawing so much, to be able to create people, things, spaces my imagination can think up, it feels amazing! Gaming for me is just a safe place for me, I’m so grateful that video games exist. People make these amazing worlds and we get to play them, it’s honestly such a wonderful thing to me. I met most of my close friends because of video games and I’m so blessed. 🥰🥰

14. Talk about one of your most cherished childhood memories.

Hmmm 🤔 I’m not sure which to pick, but a fun thing that happened to me was going to a live shoot of one of my favorite childhood shows and then taking pictures with the actors afterwards, it was really fun to see the making of a show and the process and all :D it was what I did for my birthday and it was a really fun time!

I do! While it’s very cliché, I believe in gut feelings, and sometimes you just know; you just know that’s the person/people for you.

I kinda forgot about ei’s friends after her teaser dropped ngl 💀 you are so right that they should’ve been there, like how both Zhongli and Venti’s quests had a “let’s pay a visit to our dead or dying friends” arc /hj in hindsight I also wish there was one of those cool 2D PVs for Ei as well hhh it would be Epic to see her three friends like that!! Ig they thought it was covered by her teaser/demo or something? Since that had way more lore than usual, idk though. still hoping for a second quest about her hh

I’m kinda the opposite about lore digging but it’s probably just me lol, I tend to read lore in game only, but don’t have many of the artifacts/weapons that contain the lore I want to read. But disregarding that, I still want some of the worldbuilding to be put in like a story quest or something, since it would be interesting to see what other characters think about the stories in the artifacts and stuff (do different mondstadters have different opinions on their history? What do they think about the white knight or the gladiator? Also I wanna see Eula interacting with the noblesse oblige set. same with Liyue folk and all the Morax Legends lol. I digress tho)

Big same with the La Signora gripe. Shame on me ig but I didn’t read the crimson witch lore before I did the quest so the spoilers I saw didn’t mean much and there was no shock value during the big reveal in quest 💀 yeah I hope we’ll see or hear about her in Snezhnaya!! Her side of the story would be infinitely more interesting (pls not another artifact set tho-)

About Xiao, Ganyu, and Zhongli: this is why fix it fics exist I guess 😔 I’ve adopted an AO3 fic’s retelling as my version of canon (or at least something the traveler didn’t see)

Mm true it’s strange because I think he said thanked the traveler for being his companion while he was testing out his human life at the end of the archon quest (iirc) maybe it’s just because Liyue’s supposedly a big city so one new person doesn’t really matter to most people (fhdksd if something contradicts this, do tell) I think the fake death was still kinda necessary, at least for normal people to accept that Morax is Completely Gone so that the Qixing can get ultimate authority and total acceptance/respect (that npc who said Zhongli will always be in true control since he’s a god and the Qixing are mere mortals and stuff), but agree to disagree 😌 they’re all shady in some way in the end

LMFOAOO THE "canon (derogatory)" took me OUT PWAHAHA (i may reuse that quote ;D) that idea was mostly based on ayaka's last sentence (was it in the 2.0 archon quest?) where she said smth along the lines of the resistance having ulterior motives... and also how baal and co. defeated orobashi, the god they worship (like maybe kokomi was out for revenge?) but no sigh she's ur average good person :( idrc either way but i rly wanna see a morally grey female character where they appear good but are actually super dodgy and evil, that would be chef's kiss. but yeah, after that quest, she's definitely gonna be purely good :')
