The breeze gently swayed the wind chimes decorating your humble flower shop as you rearranged some of the bigger plants. Despite the warm spring weather and bright sun, it was a tranquil day at the shop. With no holiday around the corner, people weren’t exactly barging down your door at this time of day.

As you were about to repot some of the flowers which had grown too big for their respective pots, your doorbell signalled a customer entering. Quickly, you made your way over into your sales area. In the middle of your shop stood a white-haired man, his mask pulled down and hair tied into a ponytail. When he turned to you, a red streak among the white caught your attention, as well as a few piercings. You couldn’t recall seeing him here before but he seemed somewhat familiar anyway.

“Hi there, how may I help you?” you greeted cheerfully.

“Thank you very much, these are perfect though. My mother has a thing for house plants,” he chuckled. Ah, so it was a present for his mother. “Oh, is that a maple leaf over there?”

Stepping aside to let him take a closer look, you nodded. “It is, nicely spotted. I think they make for great decorative elements, given their striking colour.”

“It happens that I’m quite fond of them, too.” The man rolled up the left sleeve of his white jacket to reveal an intricate tattoo sleeve of what appeared to be maple leafs swirling in the wind. “They remind me of home.”

“Wow,” you said, in awe at the artwork, “that is amazing. Whoever drew this must be seriously talented.”

“Yeah, Xiao put his all into this. I drew the actual piece though, so I’m giving myself some credit here,” he sheepishly confessed and scratched his neck. “Ah, Xiao is my colleague. We actually work at the studio next door.”

“So that’s why I thought I had seen you before. It’s nice to meet you, neighbour,” you laughed before giving him your name.

“What a beautiful name, it suits you well.” The melodic lilt of his smooth voice made heat creep up your neck. “My name is Kazuha.”

For a moment, neither of you said anything and it seemed as though the world had stopped as you watched the sunlight break in his crimson eyes. Then with a snap, you remembered where you were and why you were there. You quickly cleared your throat and held up the small plant to him.

“Is this going to be your choice then or would you rather look around a little longer?”

“As much as I’d love to have an excuse to stay, I do think she’d like this one very much,” he said. As you walked over to the register and checked out the plant, you tried not to think about his words too much, otherwise you might not have been able to do much else. When all was said and done, Kazuha pulled his mask up again, yet you could still see his smile beam from his eyes. “Well then, it was nice getting to know you. I hope we’ll see each other more in the future.”

“I hope so too. Have a nice day and feel free to stop by whenever you’d like.”

The doorbell chimed again as Kazuha left with a small wave, which you returned shakily before you buried your face in your hands. Did this really just happen? Did this beautiful man say he wanted to see you again? Was he actually flirting or just being polite? You thought it best not to interpret too much into it, lest you get your hopes up, but your heart was beating out of your chest anyway.

You calmed down over the next few days, although the first couple of times a customer came in, your heart -the traitor- skipped a beat and you mentally kicked yourself for acting like a lovesick fool over a guy you had met once. Slowly but surely though, it was business as usual again and your encounter with him didn’t occupy the forefront of your mind anymore.

Until one afternoon, on which you were faced with striking crimson eyes, that was. You blinked a few times before your brain rebooted and you scrambled for something to say.

“K-Kazuha! Nice to see you again,” you greeted, not very professionally, might you add. “Here for another potted plant?”

Fortunately he chuckled about your clumsy attempt at a joke before gently shaking his head. “No, not today. My mother was quite delighted though, so thank you very much for the recommendation.”

“Not at all, you’re the one who picked after all.” Hiding your fidgeting hands behind your back, you tried your best to hold eye contact. “What brings you here then?”

“Ah you see, I'm here to ask a small favour.” At the curious tilt of your head, he continued. “I was wondering if I could stay here for a while to sketch. Last time I was here, I couldn’t help but feel inspired by all the beautiful flowers. I understand if you say no though.”

“No,” you said immediately before catching yourself. “I mean, no, I don’t mind. I’m very flattered actually. Just make yourself comfortable.”

With a warm ‘thank you’, Kazuha settled in a sunny corner of your shop and pulled pencil and paper from his bag. At first you were a little nervous with him there, hyper-aware of your every movement, but it wasn’t long before you found comfort in his presence. 

This became a regular occurrence afterwards. Kazuha would come over to draw whenever he didn’t have any clients booked as you went about your business, every now and then insisting to help you move a heavy pot to make himself useful. Somewhen down the line, he started bringing you coffee or take-out after learning your preferences and vehemently resisted having you pay him back. At one point, you started to wonder whether his coworkers missed him at all.

“They’ll live without me,” he laughed. “And even if, it’s not like I’m far away.”

Another major plus of having Kazuha around was getting a glimpse of his newest pieces, either through a peek over his shoulder or just straight-up asking him. There was something so vivid about his sketches, as if he transferred the vitality of the flowers directly onto the page and you were blown away every time.

One evening, you were sitting in your shop well after closing time. The two of you hadn’t planned to spend the night in, but as fate would have it, it started to heavily pour down as Kazuha was about to leave. So you, without any selfish ulterior motives, offered him to stay until the rain let up.

That was how you found yourself eating some of the pastries he had brought you earlier while Kazuha was drawing vines and flowers onto your arm after you asked him what kind of tattoo he thought would suit you. As he worked, it gave you a great opportunity to study him. 

His light brows were slightly furrowed as he concentrated, his eyes firmly fixed on your skin and his teeth biting down on his plush bottom lip every other minute. The touch of his left hand, holding and angling your arm as he needed it, sent chills up your spine and the pressure from the pen felt more intimate than it should have. Your body was set ablaze with nerves almost as if you got a real tattoo.

All too soon, Kazuha withdrew the pen from your skin, kept his other hand, however, on your arm, sliding it down a little further so it rested almost over yours. His thumb traced some of the lines almost absentmindedly. If he kept this up, you were afraid you’d melt into a puddle right on the spot, not that that would be such a bad way to go out. Then, he slowly lifted his gaze to meet yours through his long lashes and your breath hitched. You were actually sitting across from some kind of ethereal being, you were sure of it.

“So,” he started, voice low in the dimly lit shop, “what do you think?”

“I think it’s beautiful,” you replied without hesitation.

“I’m flattered, but perhaps,” he gave you a sly smile, “you should take a look at the tattoo first?”

Heat bloomed on your cheeks as you averted your eyes. “All your art is gorgeous though, it’s not like I’d have to look to know it’s true,” you mumbled.

Kazuha wore his faint blush a lot more gracefully than you did as he too looked down to take in the lines on your skin in their entirety. The motive he’d chosen was a branch of flowers wrapping around your underarm, detailed and fine, despite the less than ideal equipment to work with. Between the petals, there was one or the other maple leaf peeking through, causing you to smile. You couldn’t help but wonder what it would look like if it was actually inked onto your skin.

“It makes me happy to hear you have so much trust in me,” he genuinely said.

“Looks like I seriously have to think about getting a tattoo now,” you laughed, although there was actual seriousness bleeding into it. “Perhaps I should make an appointment with… what was his name? Xiao?”

“Come on, gorgeous, you can’t tease me like this,” he gasped in faux offence. “You wouldn’t rob me of the honour of being the one to tattoo you, right?”

“I could never,” you breathed, goosebumps rising all over your arm from where he continued to touch you. And Kazuha seemed to notice it too.

“Are you cold? Here, have my jacket.” Before you could refuse, he’d already stepped around the table and draped the garment over your shoulders. You could feel his body heat still emanating from it, the pleasant scent of his cologne surrounding you. “We wouldn’t want you catching a cold, would we?”

You hummed as a response, brain not procuring anything more profound at the newfound proximity. Just like the first time you met, you lost yourself in his swirling pools of maple but this time nothing was there to yank you back to stop you from drowning in them. 

“Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are?” Kazuha quietly asked, almost as if talking more to himself. “I truly can’t recall anything which could compare.”

“I can,” you countered. When he raised a brow, you continued. “He’s standing right in front of me, actually.”

“I find that hard to believe,” he said fondly. One of the hands previously resting on your shoulders trailed over your skin, light as a feather, before cupping your cheek as if you were a delicate flower. “Hopefully this is not too forward, but… May I kiss you?”

“I’d love nothing more.”

Guided by his hand, you rose from your seat to meet Kazuha halfway before closing your eyes. When your lips met, your first thought was how his lips were as pillowy soft as you imagined. Yours moved seamlessly against them, as if you had done this a hundred times already, yet it was still excitingly new at the same time. Threading your hand into the base of his snowy hair, you carefully tested the waters but were immediately rewarded with a blissful sigh and an arm wrapping around your waist, Kazuha’s fingers splaying over the small of your back and pressing you impossible closer to his chest. 

Only pulling back far enough to speak against your lips, half-lidded eyes gazed into yours as his thumb brushed your cheekbone like the wind caressed the leaves on a tree. “I almost don’t want to stop.”

“Then don’t”, you whispered.

“You have no idea what you do to me, love,” Kazuha groaned before diving back in, this time deepening the kiss almost immediately. Neither of you noticed, nor cared, that the rain had stopped a while ago, too lost in one another to think about much else.

But, quite unfortunately, both of you needed air to live, so you had to reluctantly part eventually. While you breathed heavily, trying to force oxygen back into your lungs, Kazuha peppered a myriad of playful kisses along your jaw and the side of your neck, your giggles reverberating around the shop at the tickling sensation. When he resurfaced, there was a bright spark in his eyes as he mirrored your smile. 

“Even if this might not be the proper order in which to do this, I’d love to take you out on a date one of these days,” he said, seeking out your hand with his and intertwining them. “And hopefully a second one after that.”

“A date, huh?” Running the hand still slung over his shoulder through his hair, you mused lightheartedly. “Sounds like an awful lot of effort to get a new client to tattoo, don’t you think?”

“What can I say,” he played along, “I’m very devoted to the things I hold dear.”

“I don’t doubt that,” you said sincerely, catching on to the double meaning behind his words. “Seems as if I have fallen for your scheme then.

he has a statue of himself in many places. through centuries and millenias devotees carved him from high quality jades, golds and precious stones alike.

No matter how famous or talented the craftsman was he when he was Morax, never found those statues to be made from pure devotion alone. Therefore he never expected for anyone to draw him with the love and devotion one might expect.

But you proved him wrong. He found many sketchbooks while cleaning your shared home which had only his portraits. some were romantic while some were a bit sensual nevertheless from just your drawings of him were enough to let him understand the extent of your love for him and your pure devotion. But there was a certain oil painting on a canvas that was only his portrait with his chin resting on the palm of his hand. it was so beautiful with precise strokes that he decided to hang it on the lounge wall.

Yashiro Commisioner Ayato Kamisato has had many portraits, full body sketches drawn ever since the day he was born. He was the son of the esteemed late commissioner and the former Head of a clan so many pieces were made by talented artists from around teyvat.

His eyes widened as he saw the countless creations of yours which only centered your one and only muse, Ayato, your lover. He had literal heart on his eyes because all this time you were only drawing your beloved. He kept that book as a lucky charm.

The following day when you ssked him if he saw the leather book you always had he just held out the same while saying "oh? then you must be talking about this" you were bright red as you saw the familiar smirk he had on his face which was enough to tell you that he saw everything.

Alhaitham never really held a fascination towards performing arts but he knew of your admiration towards the same. Since he loved you he never showed any form of disgust towards arts and he never really had one. He just felt that it was not important.

While you were quite embarrassed yourself and you apologised for drawing him without his consent, he only said that "there's no need for you to apologise love, rather I am glad that i could be a form of inspiration for you and..I hope you will continue to draw me like how you do..". he managed to tell you that all while fighting a blush that spread across his cheeks.

When it comes to cultures I don't have authority to speak on it, as I'm not a part of that said culture. But I also have my own culture and religion so whenever some caricatures try to silence people of that culture who are trying to speak out about it, I would get pissed too. I'd imagine if a company took my culture & religion and poorly represented the people of my culture, honestly anyone would get angry at this. So please, continue to raise your voices to this unfairness they have shown. It will not be a waste, educating is never a waste.

It's very unlikely that a multimillion dollar company doesn't have access so much as Google. What happened to thorough research? What happened to asking something you're unsure of? What happened to TRYING???

But one thing I can speak on is regarding skin diversity as I am of a person of color myself. Whitewashing especially really makes me angry because why is it that hard to remain true to the original skin color huh? Fun fact, I continued playing genshin because of kaeya (I fell in love with his character and story) but just to be set aside the whole time despite having such an important backstory. The reason I'm even motivated to play genshin is expecting more from his character but hoyo said ✨noh✨ a lot of people pointed this out; why is it only the brown playable characters have shitty kits or not that good meta wise 🧐

Hoyoverse.. you are catering to a global audience, is it that hard to respect people's cultures that you took inspiration from? I'm telling you, at this moment you'll lose a lot of players and don't think just because you have other games that you'll be fine. Because I can see a pattern from when even before genshin was released this was not a new thing. I'm 100% sure you'll do the same with other games. In a back alley of stacks in the House of Daena, both you and Alhaitham were sequestered away. As usual, the Acting Grand Sage had a thick book open while you were bent over your own work. 

Well, usually, you would be. 

But today, your head had risen up from the pages of drawings before you, and you were looking at Alhaitham. 

As such, Alhaitham felt your stare, but did not acknowledge it for a long while. You would frequently turn to look at him during random intervals, but this one was lasting longer than usual. 

He had learned to ignore your stares, not that was a problem for him, when he realized you had a tendency, to pick a spot and zoink out. Your eyes would be looking through him, obviously not seeing him, your gaze turned inward, although it looked like you were staring at him. 

However, this time, when his eyes darted from the pages to you, your eyes weren’t looking through him then. 

You were looking directly at him, a small smile on your face. 

Alhaitham lifted his head and returned your stare. 

Many students around, failed to understand the relationship between the two. 

Were they dating, or weren’t they? 

Spoiler alert: You were… 

But the two of you had much in common in the way of personality, as you were both introverted. You were an Outlander much like the Traveler was, but you were not a fighter, nor a vision bearer. You had simply come from another world. 

Perhaps that is what started Althaitham’s interest. 

His interest in your old world, how it worked, what the people were like. You were a wealth of new knowledge he could indulge in. But then, slowly, he found himself interested in you personally. 

How strange. 

He didn’t like people. 

He still didn’t. 

You didn’t like people, either. 

You still didn’t. 

Your world had been loud and chaotic. You found Teyvat to be quaint and much quieter. You relished in this.  It was as if Teyvat had been the answer to what you had been searching for your entire life. 

You had planned to live quietly, hopefully not having to be bothered with people, but you with your unassuming nature, you had developed a number of friends: Colliei, Tighnari, even Cyno. Cyno didn’t really scare you, but you had a healthy dose of respect of him to not get on his bad side. 

You had a talent for drawing. Especially since it was a little different from those in Teyvat, you quickly became a hot commodity. As such, your acquaintances expanded: Albedo from Mondstadt, Yae Miko from Inazuma and Xinqiu from Liyue. 

Your newest project was creating a manga. You liked the library of the House of Daena for the books that you could use to research your subject for drawing. 

Alhaitham had never known that research could be used for frivolous means. He saw books as a source of knowledge, while you saw the book as a window to another world. 

Neither of you blinked as the stare down continued. 

Finally, Alhaitham shut the book, with a raised eyebrow, “Is there something specific on your mind? Or have I been reduced to a research subject at the moment?” 

Irony being that as an artist, you frequently watched people, the very beings you did not like much. As such, sometimes Althaitham became the object of your watching. At first, he wasn’t sure if he liked it, being scrutinized so closely (was this what other people felt with his own calculating eyes?) but he found, that he didn’t mind so much, with you. 

Maybe because you rarely offered your opinion on your findings. 

But then that had an opposite unintended effect where Alhaitham found he actually wanted to know what your findings were. 

How strange. He never cared much for what other people said until you came along. Now he frequently found himself wanting to know what thoughts ran through your head. 

“Has anyone told you, you have a nice voice?” 

Althaitham blinked once, his mouth twisting up slightly. 

You gave a small laugh. ‘Was that the sum total of this exchange?’ you echoed in your head in your best Althaitham impression based on his face. 

You were correct, as the man gave a pointed stare before turning his book back open. 

“Hey, I’m being serious. There is a point I’m driving to, too.” 

The book shut, “Which is?” 

You slid a book out of from under the pile, “Could you read the first chapter of this to me?” 

Althaitham’s eyebrow rose a bit higher as he exchanged his book for yours. Upon seeing the title, he gave a sigh, “Y/N, I read books for information and knowledge, not for frivolous purposes.” 

You locked your hands under your chin to rest as you gazed at him, “Think of this as helping with my research, then.” 

“I fail to see how reading a Sumeru fairy tale book to you is helping with your research.” 

“The same way I fail to understand how reading…ah let me get this correct….” you leaned forward to look the title of his book, “...Logical Concepts in the Runic Language is a help in yours. I don’t even know what that means.” 

Alhaitham sighed, “It’s so elementary, it’s putting me to sleep, actually….” 

“And yet, you kept flipping the page.” 

“Why exactly do you want me to read this to you? You can read it yourself.” the scribe asked. 

“Yes, but I’m in the middle of testing a hypothesis.” 

At this, Althaitham looked a bit curious, “Which is?” 

You tapped the book twice, “I’m wondering if you read this to me, in the beautiful voice you have, would I retain the information better than if I read it myself? Quite an interesting prospect, no?” 

Althaitham thumbed behind him, “Audio books are that way.” 

You laughed, “Yes, but if the voice reading the book doesn’t strike your fancy, you would get less out of it, wouldn’t you say? Surely, you’ve had to listen to an audio you didn’t like because of the voice on it.” 

How many times? 

Alhaitham hated being read to, in all honesty. It was just faster to read it himself.

He cocked an eyebrow, “And you think my voice would be more your speed?” 

“Isn’t it always?” 

Althaitham let out a little chuckle at this, his eyes becoming hooded as he tilted his chin up to look down at it, “Is it now?” 

He was pleased when he saw a faint vibration pass through you. One that would have been missed, but Althaitham was nothing if not observant. 

You cleared your throat. How did Alhaitham managed to turn everything into his favor? Your eyes darted away from his as you sat up, snatching your pencil and giving it a twirl before bending back over your work. 

It was wiser to know when to retreat. 

You ignored the chuckle, as you sketched away. 

Alhaitham gazed at you a long moment before reaching over and pulling the book on Sumeru fairy tales towards him. He picked it up, cracking open the book. 

Perhaps, he felt indulgent at this moment. 

Something only you seem to arise out of him. 

“Once upon a time…” 

And you gave a small smile as his soft voice floated between the two of you as you continued sketching.

an oral history of vocaloid

ive seen a lot of (very misguided) discussion about vocaloid/vsynth in regards to AI voices discourse, so i thought it would be a good idea to sit down and explore vocaloid as a software, as well as mentioning other software of the same genre, to give people who dont really know much a better understanding

first and foremost: i dislike AI voices that are in unregulated spaces right now. actors who are finding their hard work end up on some website for anyone to use without compensation is devastating, and shows a lack of respect for the effort it takes in the field.

however, vocaloid has a much longer history that pre-dates these aggregate sites. vocaloid software was first released in 2004, and was initially marketed towards professional musicians. vocaloid's second version of the engine, however, decided to broaden the market towards general consumers, pitching it as helpful software to those who wanted to produce music, but didn't have the personal skill or ability to have someone else sing for their music (range, note holding, etc). amateur musicians wouldn't know how to direct someone to tackle a lyric persay, but using software would be easy to learn and they would learn the terminology associated with certain performance decisions.

in vocaloid 2's era, miku was released. miku's voice provider is Saki Fujita, a well respected voice actress who actually does a lot of work in anime as well as video games! the popularity of miku is its own separate post of history, but the explosive nature of it, i would argue, is the reason that vocaloid and other commercial voice synthesizer software ultimately ended up geared towards all consumers instead of just professional musicians. (crypton and yamaha did absolutely still cater to professional musicians, having private or non released banks only for certain companies/contractors to use though).

flash forward, and technology has developed way further. in 2013, cevio released, and in 2017, synthV debuted. by this point, vocal synthing has expanded from just singing software to also include software intended for just speaking (voiceroid by AHS software) and the idea of an AI bank to improve the quality and clarity of voice banks is becoming more feasible.

however, i wouldnt say the developments in AI voices came strictly from this side of things. in fact, i distinctly remember back in the early 2010s, people were using websites with voice models of characters like glados (portal) and spongebob. these audio posts were seen as novelties, and admittedly theyre fun just to mess around with (and people often find the spongebob rap music that yourboysponge makes to be pretty well done!), they do lead the way to better developed technology that doesnt compensate the artist...

so back to vocaloid. the thing about vocaloid (and all vocal synthesizers) is that contracts are in place to give appropriate time and compensation, along with permission to even use the person's voice. saki fujita continues to update miku's voicebank because she is being paid well to do so. this can be said for all vocal synth products. because these companies (crypton, ahs software, internet co, etc) specialize in making these tools and products for it, they have the appropriate knowledge on what proper compensation looks like. a random person grabbing a "raiden shogun genshin ai voice" model has none of those things. the voice actress doesnt get money off of that. its stolen work. AI can be used ethically, but it has to be done with regulation.

im leaving out specifics on certain vocaloids/vsynthesizers since its tangential to this post at best, but im making this so people have a better understanding of the history and intended usage of vocal synthesizer software. thank youuuuu

/grumbles. You know exactly what I'll say here, Aven, you're cheating. But here we go: the double standards of M/M ships versus everything else. The fact that M/M ships come out of the wood works simply when two male characters appear in the same trailer (even if entirely separately from one another), but if I ship a hetero ship (or lesbian, though that falls into a slightly different topic as people's avoidance of those is something else altogether), I need to bend over backwards even if it's canonically substantiated and would have an overwhelming amount of fans if it was an M/M ship. I understand the need for representation and its support, I do, but it's not that clear-cut and simple here. Because here's my thing, it doesn't just end there, and I'll use HSR's Kafblade as an example because I think that one has really gotten a hell of a lot of hatred. I need to sift through horrendous commentary on X that inevitably always pops up even in search results (or worse, in an artist's notes) when I'm simply doing something as mundane as... looking for fan-art. Anything from calling Kafka, a woman (you know, the ones women always preach should receive more support and respect), inherently toxic, to calling the shippers anti-LGBT because apparently Blade and Kafka are 'canonically' a gay man and a lesbian (where?), as if bisexuality still doesn't exist in 2024. And it still doesn't end there, because then I'm told that the people hating on Kafblade get just as much hatred. Okay, even if I accept that to be true for the sake of argumentation, the ones hating on, in this instance, Kafblade belong to the group that ships the overwhelmingly popular M/M ship (we all know I'm talking about Renheng in this instance). The support there is insane, there's a never-ending supply of art, much more than Kafblade— any hatred that it would get, would be drowned out quickly. Now granted, I admit that Kafblade is also not an ideal example, as its shippers have in turn rebelled into presenting a relatively aggressive defense, so I'll use Avenpaz as an example instead who goes against Ratiorine, or Guili in Genshin who goes against Zhongchi. When they're not being hated on (or judged) by the popular M/M ships, people need to apparently run a hundred extra miles as to prove that they have any sort of validity, or to even find shipping partners for them on Tumblr, because who knows who might judge you. Whether it's for liking a ship that isn't the popular ship. or for simply, possibly not shipping the popular M/M ship.

But here's also my issue, and this is likely the really 'unpopular' part of this opinion, but I don't even know if everyone (I know numerous do, don't worry) ships it for anything other than 'it's just two hot guys'. No substance, no rationality, nothing other than 'two men'. And here's my thing, if that's all you're in it for, that's your decision, but don't hide behind the curtain of 'pro-LGBT!!' while judging those who don't ship it, as if you're on some moral high ground. Because if you were situating yourself on a bit of a social political pedestal, you'd be shipping lesbian ships just as easily.

My Personality

I like to think that I’m a pretty chill guy. I mostly spend my time playing video games (Minecraft, Pokémon, Genshin and honkai star rail) and minding my own business. my grades are average since I’m too lazy to really study. ・❥・You being short and small made it perfect for Kaeya to hold you. Kaeya enjoys hugging you from behind and resting his chin on the top of your head. Something about it just makes him feel relaxed knowing you are there for him when he needs to get some weight off his shoulders.

・❥・He didn't mind you being shy. Though he sometimes does find himself in a bit of trouble trying to understand what you're saying as your voice is so quiet but he does try his best!! he would ask you to repeat what you said slower and a bit louder which makes you panic, but he makes sure that you take nice slow deep breaths so your anxiety and panic won't affect you as much.

・❥・Despite your shy nature, you were quite a fighter and your confidence shoots up when you see a person needing help. Even though you were just someone who works at a bakery, that hydro vision of yours wasn't for nothing.

You weren't in your best condition at the current moment due to you coming back home drenched in rain water lately, the rain always had something against you. Every time you were on your way back home, the rain always poured down on you. Talk about bad luck, thankfully before you got jailed into bed by the cold, a young man with dark green hair and a polearm in hand helped you get home before it got worse outside.

He talked about how he's helping because he got tired of seeing you run and struggle through the rain despite there being clear signs of rain there were not any clear signs. You got home tired and cold, almost passing out from your body being unable to handle what you've been putting it through. Zhongli was there by the table when he saw you come through the door whilst sensing his yaksha linger nearby, knowing that someone he trusted brought you home before it got worse eased his mind however this did not stop him from feeling concerned that you were willing to run in the rain instead of waiting it out.

So now you were stuck in bed, trying your best to keep your eyes awake as you wait for Zhongli to finish with the herbal soup that's meant to make you feel better. A few more minutes has passed and your eyes got heavier, you decided to shut your eyes just so you wouldn't struggle to keep them open and without realizing you were fast asleep.

Zhongli walked in the room wanting to see if you were up to eat or not but saw you asleep. He silently walks to the bed sitting at the edge of it next to you. Brushing your hair to side of you face he decides to admire you. Even though he was angry with how you came back home he kept in mind that you always came back with a smile and a hug for him with some gifts in hand. He would have to ask Xiao to keep an eye on you when it starts to rain and escort you back home when he gets the chance. But this doesn't mean you weren't having a stern talk once you start feeling better.

"It seems I really can't get you out of my head y/n, you worry me sometimes"

Cupping his hand on your cheek and rubs his thumb against your face. You nuzzle into his hand finding comfort with it.

🍫 - "Chocolate or Cheese"

Mostly depends on the type of cheese and chocolate and on my mood that day.

But I guess, logically, I'd go with cheese. I like more types of cheese than chocolate, so if I suddenly only had the option to eat one of them, I'd have more varieties left with cheese :3

That being said, I do tend to get random cravings so sweets like chocolate, so theres that 😭

💎 - "Most Prized Posession"

There are many things I'd get genuinely sad if I were to lose them. But circling through them, I suppose any art/fic my friends ever made for me. When one of my friends wrote a oneshot about my Genshin ship kids a year ago I genuinely teared up (/pos) knowing someone liked my little babies enough to write about them.

I also still keep drawings that friends & followers, or even art fight opponents, made of my ocs and AUs all the way back to 2015, both physical ones and digital ones, if I can (I also keep commissions I requested, even if they were of fav charas instead of ocs!).

They mean a lot to me and it genuinely makes me so happy to look at them.

I know @k1tt1xruby always seems surprised when I say I still have the drawings she made for me all the way back to when we were 12-13 & 13-14, but I do really still have most of them (if not all). They mean the world to me, knowing that someone cared enough and liked my characters enough to draw them.

I do still have drawings from my amino days and back when I was on FNaF Oc Instagram years ago too, and I'm sad to admit for many of them I lost the credits to the artists as time went on due to deleted accounts, or even lost drawings because they were made before I compiled the folder on my phone. I obviously don't share any I no longer know the credits of, and even the ones I know the artists of I do not share their older art publicly out of respect.

Idk, I guess it just really makes me happy to keep them as a memory. Even if I lose touch with these people, I'll always have something to remember them by even a little bit.

These don't include the ones I own the physical drawing of & I'm pretty sure some of these I saved duplicates of (oops) plus some were lost before I made the folder, but regardless this is a folder I'll never clear out and that I probably should make a backup of eventually, in case something happens with my SD card. I also need to back up (my already backup) of my friends oneshot to my pc or a drive, in case google docs ever shuts down.

It just makes me really happy to look through it <3
