Distribute Aid, has been running a fundraiser to provide trans people with harm reduction kits when performing hrt at home. So, I heard people on other platforms say that when you search for the constitution, the page is not found, and it seems to be unavailable when I checked, but this is not the only resource missing. Some immigration websites and apps are also unavailable, this is not a coincidence. It’s all connected to Trump trying to get rid of birthright citizenship and the mass deportations going on in certain cities. Please check this website on what to do during an ICE encounter, and spread this information, as this is useful for individuals, families employers who want to protect loved ones or their employees. One of the most important things to unpack and unlearn when you’re part of a white supremacy saturated society (i.e. the global north) and especially if you were raised in an intensified form of it (evangelicism, right wing politics, explicit racism) is the urge to punish and take revenge.

It manifests in our lives all the time and it is inherently destructive. It makes relationships and interactions adversarial for no good reason. It undermines cooperation and good civic order. It worsens some types of crime. It creates trauma, especially in children.

Imagine approaching unexpected or unacceptable behavior from a perspective of "how can this be stopped, and prevented" instead of "you’re going to regret this!”

Imagine dealing with a problem or conflict from the perspective of “how can this be solved in a way that is just and restorative” instead of “the people who caused this are going to pay.”

How much would that change you? How much would that have changed for you?

The misogynistic radicalization caused by the manosphere, the extreme racism, etc... didn't happen overnight. The average Instagram comments section has been looking like a 4chanboard. Facebook, IG, etc... has been radicalizing people into fascism and the writing has been on the wall for years. Liberals have been helping right wingers move the overton window to the far far right and look at where the U.S. is now. The fascism has been brewing and brewing, breeding and reproducing itself and infecting the next generation, and its been more than overt but Americans don't take shit seriously until the president's 'a cheeto' or whatever. This is the cost of ignoring it cuz the head of state was your prefered candidate.

Please remember intersex people during these next 4 years. To support and worry about us too, not just perisex trans people. Intersex people are fully affected by the idea of "only male and female allowed" laws. Intersex people are affected by anti trans laws even if not all of us are trans. Many of us can't pass or hide our features, similar to how some trans people can't. We (the systems body) for example are physically incapable of passing as "cis" unless we get surgeries and hormones which still wouldn't change the fact we're intersex. We can't blend in, we get clocked as "queer looking" no matter what we wear or how we act. Don't forget about us when making posts about protecting trans and queer people. - ❔️

by the way, the ACLU has already filed a lawsuit against the executive order trump signed yesterday to eliminate birthright citizenship. this means we already have a challenge for the courts and it will inevitably make it up to the supreme court because it is a constitutional issue. you can read the full court filing here.

Y'all I love Assan, don't get me wrong. He's a little sweetheart and I cherish him. However, the way a lot of y'all reduce Davrin down to just "Assan's Dad"™ is so fucking annoying. It's almost to the point where I wish Assan didn't exist as a character.

I've seen people try and say that Davrin "doesn't have a personality outside of caring for Assan" which is just... Completely wrong. He's extremely multifaceted from his care for Assan, to his dedication to the Wardens, to his love of the hunt, to his borderline paranoia that he's going to either die a hero or outlive his friends, to his self-destructive view of himself in a relationship, and even just how he treats Rook and the other companions.

What's even stranger to me is that he is 100% the guy that would like dom you but he gets no attention. If you asked him to he would probably degrade you because he knows you like it. He would probably be controlling, and manhandle you, and all of that shit that people (especially straight women) in fandom thirst over to the point of mischaracterising other characters for it. And yet I see almost no one talk about him outside of Assan and like "ooo I ship him with Lucanis because enemies to lovers and I can only think about Davrin in relation to other characters!"

And you know what. I'm just gonna come out and say it. I genuinely think it's because he's black. That's it. He's a fucking amazing character, and is the exact type of guy so many people would thirst over. But because he's black it's crickets. Pull yourselves together.
