this might be a genuine unpopular opinion, but i do not think damian is a better robin than tim.

now — do not get me wrong, i absolutely adore damian and his run as robin has been one of my favorite just because of how many new characters has been introduced and how well they’ve done his character (from what i’ve read)… but… he’s just… not as good as tim.

i might be biased (i 100% am) but i think tim is infinitely better than damian on all fronts. i genuinely don’t care what the newest runs have stated or shown, tim has continuously surpassed damian in almost every single way for years. a few runs isn’t going to change my opinion on that.

ra’s al ghul has continuously chosen tim over his own grandson, and honestly if that doesn’t tell you what you need to know than i don’t know what will.

damian is good, he’s what robin should be, but tim was just better. like… so much better. his character was more interesting, his backstory was well done and connected his character to the others around him very well, the characters his runs introduced were well done and very interesting, and overall i find tim much more enjoyable than damian.

while i do love damian and i honestly do really love the fact that tim isn’t robin anymore, i firmly stand on the fact that tim was a better robin even if no one else agrees or will boo me.
