ok i gotta talk abt my bg3 playthough w/o twitters character limit cuz this has been on my mind

SO im at the beginning of act 2, into the shadow cursed lands. got through the beginning just fine, went to the last light inn, did all that, prevented isobel from being abducted (which im v proud of cuz i killed a handful of the winged beasts or w/e they were called and had cast lightning bolt to take some down, but then i realized u lost the encounter if isobel got knocked out and was like "well im not wasting a lv. 3 spell slot on this fight if shes just gonna get taken anyway" which quickly became "well in that case im not fuckin letting her get taken then!!!" and it took me 2 lightning bolts and astarion being downed like 4 times but i DID IT)

*ahem* anyway, i prevented isobel from being abducted, and the mission after that is finding out how the cultists traverse the shadow curse and doing the whole ambush. NOW i already knew there was a dialogue w/ kar'niss cuz ive seen clips from "evil" playthroughs where ppl were interqacting w/ him and ive also seen ppl simping for him (and just for the record: smash) so after just letting the ambush happen and initiating battle and seeing his level and hp, i was like "lets see if theres an easier way to do this"

so i reloaded and decided to make myself known. i lied that the absolute protected me and told kar'niss that she wanted me to have his lanturn, then told him to go on. cuz im a sorcerer, i took the option to fake a protection spell on them, and man. i did not fucking expect kar'niss' screams to be so gut-wrenching. my heart dropped hearing him plead. i dont regret it and i will be doing the same thing on future playthroughs where possible cuz its the easiest solution but that was. hard. to listen to. so now canonically thats the first time in the whole adventure that my tav felt actually sick abt something he did. i havent had a long rest since but ive decided that hes gonna have a convo w/ the companions like "i dont regret what i did, it got us what we needed without a fight, but i think that driders screams are going to haunt me for a long time." (but astarion and shadowheart approved so my boys gonna get some ~reassurance~ lmao)

and like. ive made it to the town whose name im forgetting and come across the toll collector and made her kill herself too and felt normal afterwards so its not that i made him basically kill himself, its specifically the sound of his screams that got me

also when i realized they showed back up as shadow cursed creatures right outside the toll house i reloaded again and went up onto the roof and just had astarion shoot them all from a distance. didnt even enter initiative w/ them AND it got us all to lv. 7. ty astarion, my hero *mwah*

and finally (and i did talk abt this on twitter but still) we found arabella at the gates to the graveyard. this fuckin kid. the first thing she does when we approach her is show off some INCANTATIONLESS MAGIC which immediately impresses the FUCK outta my sorcerer ass, tells me her parents are missing (and like. they were dead. i already knew they were gonna be dead. finding the bodies just confirmed it), THEN arabella tells me the only ppl she trusts are herself, her parents, and me, and tops this all off by calling me "hero-man" and running off to my camp like. congrats on the new big brother kiddo youve got him wrapped around your finger already. were both mephistopheles tieflings (presumably. she is also blue skinned), were both magic, like cmon. thats my tavs kid sister

and speaking of finding her parents bodies, actually, the whole conversation w/ the nurse "tending" to them is just...profoundly sad. i ended up choosing the deception choice and saying like "oh i see now, theyre deeply asleep" and the nurse says like "i knew these hands wouldnt fail me" like oh...sweetie...no...

(that didnt quite hit me like kar'niss' screaming did, it just left me feeling sad. for her, for the whole situation. i havent gone back to camp to tell arabella yet, im still 'splorin)

also i found the true love rings. ofc i put one on astarion and the other on my tav. i havent even got to the true confession yet lmao. you dont even know how excited i am for that. god i such a fuckin simp

danny phantom 14-20 thoughts!! I finished up s1 :D these last few eps were actually really really good!!!

-did. did tucker really just say esperanto was a dead language only spoken as a secret code between geeks. google says around 100,000 people actively speak it. oh my god...it being an auxiliary language doesn't mean its 'just for geeks to speak in code' ...it helps bridge gaps between people who don't have a language in common...

-danny really isn't pulling punches when it comes to fighting the ghost-cop possessed people huh. like he SLAMMED KWAN INTO THE CONCRETE SO HARD. HE THREW PAULINA INTO A BILLBOARD. will that...I mean it WOULD carry over to their bodies non-possessed, right? like if the ghost piloting their bodies gets hurt?? itd be so upsetting to be possessed, lose time, then wake up covered in bruises (and possibly, broken bones??) real horror movie stuff im sure wont be addressed in any way

-tuckers parents seem nice! I like them :)

-fright knight is the most bestest ghost so far i LOVE THAT DESIGN. I am biased towards knights, and characters with swords, but he fucks so severely. and should sue danny for copyright infringement for stealing his design for his haunted house. if some 14 yr old broke into MY house and stole MY sword, id also be pissed. his evil winged unicorn rules too with its FANGS. and he just CAN SHOVE THE PORTAL OPEN WITH HIS HANDS??? is he the strongest ghost weve seen so far? idk but hes my fav. SOUL SHREDDER IS SUCH A COOL SWORD NAME TOO. ANY NAMED SWORD ALSO FUCKS. 'flaming bedsheets of DEATH' funny king. ALSO he was polite to dash and tucker when just asking for directions and telling tucker 'oh maybe, just a suggestion, maybe be nicer to me and be more respectful :)' I LOOOVE HIM.

-I noticed this in the Ember ep, but jazz has an electric guitar in her room!! talent musical queen!! its cool to see hobbies just in the bg.

-fright knight's murder castle reminds me of the booby trapped murder castle in zexal!! another supposedly 'for kids' show with murder/trap castles! we love that. if you are a dp fan reading this, give yugioh zexal a try. its also got 13-14 year old protags and involves (alien) ghosts. the cardgame is just a vessel for the plot, which is really good. (I just want more people to watch my fav yugioh, man)

-at this point, Danny's ghost enemies are a lot like, I dunno, batman's rouge gallery is the first thing that comes to mind. they all have their own gimmick and unique designs, but most of them are easy to beat after learning the Moral Lesson. I still get excited when any of them show up again, though. 18 is another valerie episode!!!! :D skulker really said you two will get along if I have to handcuff you together <3 and the gym teacher really said, youre married now, have a flour baby! ngl, I'm not really watching this show for the shipping stuff (which I am very scared to look at the fandom for after I finish this watch through- I feel like there's probably discourse/arguing about ships...) but. I'm gonna put my opinion out there. valerie/danny > sam/danny. maybe I just really love the enemies to lovers trope. And the secret identity stuff adds Extra Flavor.

For reasons I felt like making a Fancy Ass murder mystery story, with you know, hella complex secret storylines and everyone having drama and shit, and one person died but the more the story goes the less people care about who did the murder and the more they want tHE JUICY DETAILs. X and Y had an afFAIR you say!!! well that’s thousands time more interesting than that murder that happened, who cares about the culprit its not like any of us are going anywhere anyway! tell me more about the marital issues!

The ultimate Vibes are Clue (the game, ya kno, it had a movie too, and that movie was shot with three different endings -fun fact- so that movie theatres could play one alternatively that way people wouldnt get spoiled or even if they did they would not get the ending they were spoiled or even if all three were spoiled you couldnt know which ending you were getting anyway, big dick move, cause its an old movie and film is expensive, also that movie stupid and campy, ALSO I ONLY LEARNED MAKING THIS AU THAT IN ENGLISH THE GAME’S CALLED “CLUE” wE CALL IT CLUEDO therefore my wip playlist is called cluedo. because. fuck it.)(i just have an emotional attachment to that game i even had a cd rom video game version and it was the spookiest shit for a 6 years old, trust me, i played it so much tho i didnt even understand the rULES i was just making scenarios like gathering the characters in rooms n making conversations outloud cause honestly the banter is the best part of a murder mystery) ANYWAY that sure is a whole paragraph of tangent. 

BUT YE the inspo from the Clue game. you can tell it from the Colours obviously, everyone’s colour codded.(even everyone’s name is colours as well you’ll see it’s real dang fancy! im just remaking that game but with 2932020 characters and more behind the scenes drama and also for gay people.)

So BASIC PLOT!

Sir Belyy, the dude in white, is The Rich Powerful Respected Fancy Boss, and he throws a Fancy Reception Party with his closest friends and associates to celebrate the opening of a new branch of his business. All the lads gather in his wonderful little very isolated mansion in the middle of nowhere, like ok he got a death wish or something or he’s very trusting of his business partners, but not a good move, cause in the middle of the reception, as A Phat Storm Starts (for plot convenience, we going with a campy vibe if you couldnt tell), his body is found, it’s awful, there’s a killer on the loose! All the guests gather, and attempt to maybe contact the authorities, to not avail, since The Storm ya know, phone lines are Broken my dude. Its clear that the culprit is among them, since no one could have entered the house, or left it (cuz once again, ThE sTORm). And then it’s all about interrogating each other, distrust, alliances and betrayal, revealing one’s deepest secrets when they form an alibi and revealing someone else’s deepest secret for they could be a motive! Meanwhile there’s a dead body in the mansion just chillin there.

So as I mentioned, I changed everyone’s name to be colour related (or ya know, food or flowers of that colour cause sometimes a colour in a language would not work as a name given the way names work in that culture all that jazz) which is the trippiest thing cause tHATS NOT YALLS USUAL NAMES but its fun (also changed so many ages hgfhs it was a trip)(still no one’s really old i guess i got boomerphobia). Sir BELYY (the one who dIEs lmao)

Intimidating, powerful, composed, wealthy, carries the name of a family who has generations of control to it’s reputation, he’s The Man that hoes who believe in the economy wishes they were. As in, the “self made” man who only just happened to benefit from having a wealthy background to uplift his plans. In his youth, he wanted to prove his worth, seperated himself from his father, started a business, that business became big, then got attached to the family’s business, bam back to square one but with Reputation now. There seemed to be VERY big tension between him and The Father, some speculate it had to do with his unknown mother, and some family drama there, and it never got resolved as old man Belyy died quite young (the jUICY speculations are that current sir Belyy mURDEREd old man sir Belyy, fucked up if true!). People love him though in general, as he has that reputation of “Cold Lad With a Gold Heart” aka he takes people under his wings, donates, doesnt treat his employees like the absolute worst garbage etc... you know, he’s rich and a half decent person, so obviously he’s an angel on earth. But does it matter though, he’s dead! that’s the concept of the story!  

Mr.GRAY (the grey guest)(who could have guessed from the name)

He’s one of Sir Belyy’s oldest employees, and benefits from a high rank in the company. But, sadly for him, he’s been stagnating lately, as newer, youngest employees seem to have Belyy’s favours, and are his prefered associates for important tasks and positions. Therefore he has Some Bitterness, Some Salt, Some Distaste, some unbriddled but professionally muted hatred for Specific people in the company. He can be an antagonistic figure, but the amount of time he spent in Belyy’s circle grants him an immense quantity of information about the man, but mostly, about his business. Anything about the company’s history, dealings, operations, he’s aware of, either having been told of them, or having snooped around to obtain, immune to being questioned due to his legitimacy in the company.

Mr.LIM (the green guest)

Remember when it was said that Gray had beef with some employees cause they were younger and rose to high ranks faster than him and became Belyy’s favourite over him? Yeah well here comes the one he hates the most for that (ofc he’s belyys fave cuz he’s Mine <3) Our lad caught Belyy’s attention for his Exploits in like, em fancy high school tournaments of smart people, it’s a thing its ridiculous, making kids compete on Smart stuff for the pride of their schools n shit, well homie Lim got clout when doing that, and Belyy was extremely interested cause that kid’s main thing was how “this young lad got mad strategic skills tf are u a war general or smth how fancy”, and that’s a coveted skill for ruthless business. So as soon as the kid is an adult, bam, join the company my dude. And because he’s just that Cool n Sexy ofc he met the expectations Belyy had, and old man Belyy got attached cuz it do be such a young lad, a kid, mentally i am adopting. That’s how you get a youngas employee becoming the right hand man of one the phatest CEO in a few years, and even make your way into being a Good Lad on top of a business partner. And that’s how you get Gray to hate your ass too. Now though, fine lad with mad strategic skills, rising to power that fast, and even infiltrating Belyy’s private life? If I were Gray I’d call suspicion there’s surely some shady stuff going no way we’re just dealing with a nice fella who just happens to work good and be friendly to the boss right?

Herra MUSTA (the black “guest”)

Belyy’s newest butler, assistant, house keeper, he multitasks. His family has been tied to Belyy’s for generations, fullfilling roles of help, but also of confidents. He’s been the head butler since only a short time, after his mother passed, and as such is still “in training” you could say, despite having served the family his whole life. There are rumours going around that the contract tying his family to the Belyys may end on his generation and need to be resigned. He known the manor by heart, and carries all keys to any locked room (and mostly, The Master Key, cause in an old house, some doors may be locked beyond all still existing keys). He also knows secrets of the family that no one else knows, but good luck getting em out of him, he’s under contract not to divulge em bro.

Mr. HASSEL (the brown guest)

Belyy’s childhood friend. They grew up together, pictured their dreams together, sworn to flourish together, worked together when starting the company, and then Hassel felt he should create his own thing instead of depending on his friend’s existing wealth, and while Belyy’s business went wild, his never took off. They still stayed very close, despite the massive difference in wealth. Belyy considers him his closest friend, the one person he can trust (fucked if hassel did the murder lemme tell u). So of course, he’s still always invited to the Prestigious meet ups where’s he’s free to feel uncomfortably out of place amongst all the rich and powerful people that he could have been a part of had he had a tiny bit of luck and a small loan from a wealthy relative...People LOVE saying he’s still hanging out with Belyy so much to leech off his wealth, cause of course they do! His bestie status means he has a whole different brand of information of Belyy than his butler does, the Most Intimate Stuff, the Childhood Stuff. The Juicy stuff ya kno...But Bro Code, its all secrets...

Sir RUZH (the red “guest”)

Deep dive into Belyy’s personnal history, the man has many employees working at his house keeping it working, clean, ya know the vibe. They live on the premice, one has a kid who’s just a Joy to be around, all the employees just vibe with that lad, he’s just a born socialite you know? Belyy gets to meet the kid, and also hella vibes with him. And because human are influenced by their feelings, he gives the kid’s mum a bit of a preferencial treatment, in the tasks she fullfils and all, til he gives her an important-as mission, and then there’s an accident n mama dies, and now Belyy got guilt and there’s this kid who just Vibes. So naturally the move is to take the kid in, and play on how his vibes are just so clean, and raise him to be the Perfect Entertainer for guests, bam, its soft power propaganda, if everyone loves your now son’s vibes, they associate them with you too. And also that’s kind of a clean rep, the selfless man who adopted his employee’s son to not have him fall to the streets, how heartwarming. Not at all traumatising for the kid too I bet! But anyway now the lad is just the most charming young adult, mission accomplished. He’s always present at any reception, ready to work his people-pleasing magic, and then going back to a gigantic empty manor to wait for the next and curate the perfect vibes to meet the expectations of dad. On the plus side, he knows everyone, and those who don’t know him cannot wAIT to, he’s just got that aura ya know. People skills for miles, and the insider knowledge that comes with being the son of the CEO, all this hidden behind the personna of the fresh innocent bashful party lad. 

Dr.FEN (the pink guest)

Do not get mistaken by the title, he’s no doc, he will not diagnose you with anything, he just studied long enough to get the sexy title. Study in what? Haha. Nothing shady. Just toxicology. He’s a world reknown poison expert basically, that’s his main thing. Oh but don’t worry, of course studying substances that may kill people is only for finding out how to cure them from it of course. What brings him in this circle? Simple, Belyy may or may not have started to suffer some weird illness that no doctor has been able to find the source, let alone cure, of. Him and Dr.Fen had met previously on some event, cause some rich man also love flexing how smart they are and attending sciencey shit, and he was contacted as sort of a shot in the dark. The lad does know how to treat some things, maybe he can treat The Mysterious Unwellness, since no traditional doctor was able to. He knows science, he’s trustworthy, bam, you’re hired to work on My Case Exclusively. Thanks to this, Dr.Fen has access to the whole health history of Belyy and his family, to many mANY dangerous substances, and also has The Respect of the hoes at the party. He HAS a doctorate after all. Epitome of knowledge. And he’s a kind to people and he wears pink like dang how can you nOT pour your wHOLE trust in him. 

Sir MOREVITCH (the blue guest)

Youngest son of an affluent family, who used to be close the the Belyys. The two families fell slightly appart after the death of the previous head of the family on the Belyy side, as they do nOT vibe with the current one (well current, til the first night of the story ig). But, unbeknownst to all, one strong link had been kept, between the youngest of the Morevitch, who dislikes his family and wishes to emancipate himself from them while also assuring his depart will not throw him basically in the streets, and our beloved Sir Belyy, who also dislikes the Morevitches but loves to see the rebellious energy of the young one (and ya know, my enemy’s enemy’s my friend or however you say that). So Belyy’s basically offering tips and helping Morevitch plant himself safely out of his family’s grasp, but it’s all taking quite some time isn’t it, slow and steady is fine until your parents try to arrange a wedding to secure more political power, and suddenly it is all quite urgent that you escape that situation because No Thank You Parents I Do Not Want A Wife I’m Too Young And Also Huh <3 Stuff You Won’t Like Hearing For Sure <3. The people who know they’re working together also know that it’s a big point of argument between them, the difference in vision between “you have to go slow and steady to be safe” and “I have very limited time to get to that safety anyway so I gotta risk it” “hell no you cant i can’t follow through if we’re going that quick that’ll put me at risk and you’re family’s gonna send gunmen to take me down”. A mess, it’d be much quicker to just obtain a few million bucks out of nowhere and bolt for sure...

Mr.GANG (the orange guest)

Morevitch’s trusted assistant. He hears the concerns, he helps the secret businesses, he lies to the parents about the whereabouts, and mostly, he’s basically a budget spy. The lad got that talent where people just don’t notice him popping behind them and catching all their dirty laundry as they confess it to someone they trust, and he always manages to break into places, get the intel he was looking for, and escape, putting everything back into place as if no one was ever there (wonder where he got all those skills from damn!). But what he’s even better at is being sneaky not only to benefit his boss, but himself as well <3. If he can catch all the info in the world, go any places, nothing’s stopping him from playing double agent and also going behind Morevitch’s back. After all the assistant life isn’t the most glamourous and rewarding, who can blame him from going and using his talents to build his own little exit route, right? Everybody sort of knows he cannot be trusted, but also no one managed to really incriminate or stop him, and as much as he has tea on many people, no has it on him, but bet once found that would be heeeella juicy.

M.MOUTARDE (the yellow guest)(this one is straight up the name of the yellow player in the french edition of clue too when i say its my main vibe)

Moutarde was an influential celebrity. He had a big break acting in a movie that the whole country stanned so hard they basically turned the script into their national anthem (they would have if it was a true democracy where the people really decide), he was so handsome and elegant, everyone’s dream husband. And then the fame fiddled out because it’s how fame is, one moment you’re the sexiest dish on the table and the next someone brings in dessert and baam, its all about that fresh cake, and no one pays any mind to your delightful aroma anymore, you’ve gone cold, they had a bite, their interest is somewhere else. Belyy really admires his work though, and mostly finds his image fits with the brand of his company, therefore the two are working on a collaboration to make Moutarde a representative. This WOULD boost Moutarde’s reputation, for his ads would be displayed on every imaginable surface of the country, and it would also benefit the company cause being represented by thAT sexy motherfucker? clearly that’s a deal. The freshness of the partnership means Moutarde is a newcomer in the guests, a fresh face, with no reputation, no relationships, no unfair biases against him. He’s just the new handsome charismatic lad with a squeaky clean image. Emphasis on “image”. After all, no one really knows anything of his background, right?

Kun.LAWENDER (the purple guest)

Private investigator, very useful to be around at a party it’s almost like it was expected there’d be a body to investigate, he’s a very close associate of Belyy, as there’s nothing more important to business than investigating the rivals and finding dirt on them to make them fall through infamy. He’s not exactly the PI who goes look for justice to be served, he’s just here for cash bro. He’s got intel on everyone, and will only let it out if offered the right thing in return (money, or sometimes other pieces of very secret intel, trade is good). Wouldn’t advise letting him and Gang team up tbh but they probably wouldnt, as Lawender is really more of a lone wolf player, going on his own for himself. The one thing that negates his usefulness as a PI on an accidental crime of scene is that even if he knew the whole truth of the event he would not spit it out unless he benefitted from saying it. He sure is a polarising lad, but at the same time, an untouchable one, he’s too knowledgeable to be taken down. Rather than sneaky, he’s extremely observant, noticing the tiniest details and engraving them in his memory, ready to be linked up to other details to deduct the big picture. He’s the upfront tea gathered basically (as opposed to Gang’s shadow tea gathering if you will, they are similar forces but using opposite methods)(also one of em got a licence n the other does not hAH).

Now the secrets, all of em have them. One of em at least got the secret of having KILLED Belyy that’s that. But that’s to be kept for later (for if i ever use this story for more than daydream material gfhjgh) bet you can imagine what some of em may be just out of Knowing what i do, from having seen the characters in other contexts, or just because you’re a genius and reading the character profiles immediatly lit up the bulbs in your head forming the perfect theory, props to you, mad genius.

Honestly my thoughts are just how lit of a game that would be, you get to pick one hoe (maybe sum are locked til u find their secrets for juicy purposes) and you do your invetigation using your character’s perks and disadvantages, and maybe there could even be Multiple scenarios and outcomes, to spice it up, give replay value, i just think it’d be a game id spend hours on. tryin to get the spicy details of everyone’s life. walking around n digging through a rich man’s stuff, witnessing the drAMA of people fighting cause they’re locked in with a murderer and that’s stressful ngl. That or a long ass show @ netflix wanna give me a show maybe? give me hella budget we’re making it animated cause im too cultured for live action. 

whatever i make of it though, i hope i can make this story Flourish, just so that i can lay down all those secret backstories i’ve written. i want the satisfaction of throwing out the craziest secret drama between character n seeing peeps loose their minds, it just is a tasty experience.

also i gotta say, i plug the hell out of Clue for an inspo but when i was building the basics of the story my mind immediatly went “oH MY GOD THE VIBES,, THE BACKSTABBING AND tEAMING UP and all,,, its The Genius, that one tv show where peeps have to do the wildest games that require strategy n they’re in that fancy set that looks like a rich ppl mansion oh god the vibes” so yeah, i rewatched the whole first two seasons cause they’re my faves and that had an impact if only minimal in the aesthetic.

Anyway hope that quick presentation gave you a lil taste of the story, and maybe,,,, got you curious,,, craving to learn more like you never did before (im exaggerating the only real question we all got is just “so who’s fuckin with whom then how many of yall secretly dating” this the real deal)

The butterfly effect- ft. eret :)

this whole post is an amalgamation of other things i’ve read on the internet and this is just me connecting it all together. so Karl’s tales of the smp stream was fantastic i loved it, and i just want to post something about it. there’s a read more because this post is long and i don’t wanna bother anyone that doesn’t want to read it lmao

obviously this is all in the context of the dsmp and its rp characters

throughout the stream it is very obvious the history is skewed and wrong, (saying that George was the best king and sapnap was defending animals during the pet war etc.) it is shown that even after hundreds of years have past Eret is still considered and viewed as the villain despite their redemption. 

a little divergence before i talk about my next point, when i read fanfiction i often come up with dialog that i think would fit in the story. its not that i think i could write it better it’s just that the work fills me with a creative energy to make me hype when waiting for the next chapter to update. 

i say that because i read a semi re-telling of season one with a fd!sleepbois back story that lead me to think up a dialog interaction between eret and phil with phil telling eret, 

“i know that you’ve changed, i can see you regret you’re actions and want to be a better person, i respect that. but you were the catalyst to wil’s downfall and that is something i could never forgive.” 

Eret’s betrayal was something i can assume they wouldn’t have thought would be such a big deal when they first made that decision. That their one small action to go against their friends to be a king wouldn’t have bitten them in the neck so hard in the future.

but that’s the thing with the butterfly effect, one small action like a butterfly flapping its wings would be the cause of a hurricane. eret’s actions lead to four people losing their first canon life, which lead to tommy losing a life to dream because if eret was still on their side tommy wouldn’t have been compelled to dual him, which lead wilbur’s distrust and paranoia in people and we all know how he turned out. if they didn’t betray wilbur and tommy’s trust then they might’ve been able to help them when exiled by schlatt. 

their one line, yaknow the one, it was never meant to be, they didn’t expect it to go as far as it did, not only with wilbur but niki too.

niki wasn’t even apart of the betrayal and eret still pays the price of having her actions be tied to them with that one small line.

and they want to be better and to help people and honestly regret the things he did to grow in power, but no matter what the weight of his past drag him down.

even techno saw them as “the guy practically known for betraying people” [paraphrasing] during the manburg vs. pogtopia war.

this isn’t a critique or a bashing of the character eret isn’t always seen as a villain, tommy and tubbo forgave him on their way to fight dream, ghostbur doesnt hate him anymore though he isn’t alivebur but we dont know his feelings on the matter, fundy is iffy cause he clearly didnt hate them when he wanted to be adopted, but then he didn’t get adopted so their relationship is skewed from that and not the betrayal. 

there’s no theory or anything like that it’s just me talking about eret’s character and how they heavily impacted the story

the flyers will shock most people, pulling a surprisingly decent cup run, possibly making eastern conference finals or the stanley cup final. if they go to the cup final, they will win. since the cup final hasn’t happened yet, we don’t know if the flyers won obviously! but they definitely shocked a LOT of people this season (including myself.) and i’m really confident in my boys and that they’ll go far in the playoffs.

there will be a huge trade within the division that causes an uproar i mean, taylor hall?

kaapo kakko will have more goals than jack hughes - but jack hughes will have more points overall yeah. this didn’t happen but i thought it did. kakko had 10-13-23, meanwhile hughes had 7-14-21. (format goals-assists-total points)

jack hughes will win the calder. lol wishful thinking! still between q. hughes and makar, will definitely end up being makar.

a team expected to be extremely good this year will do the complete opposite and tank. (possibly team that makes big trade?) say it with me: THE NEW JERSEY DEVILS!

columbus will fall to the bottom of the ranks after suffering the loss of duchene and bobrovsky. john tortorello? not happy. columbus didn’t fall to the bottom of the ranks, but they were in the bottom half of the division.

the flyers new young core will start to make an early impact. one of the defensemen will suffer a long-term injury, allowing one of the phantoms to come up and make an instant impact shocking fans. sam morin suffered an injury riiiight after coming back from a torn acl, and tore it again! he wasn’t up with the flyers, he was still in the minors, but he was on the official roster at the start of the season.

joel farabee will make the flyers lineup and be in the calder cup running. (bold. i know.) wishful thinking, again.

sidney crosby will suffer an injury, but it will not be expressed until after the season is over. tba

ovechkin will retire the end of this season or the next. tba

the new york rangers will suffer from the loss of kevin hayes and mats zuccarello – kakko will not be able to fulfill their space. yup! hayes and zucc both thrived on their new teams and the rangers were at a .564 point percentage

spencer knight will sign his elc at the end of his first year at boston college, starting next season and so forth in the minor league. wishful thinking

this will be a tough division this year! usually the metro is the really close division, the one that you never really know whos playoff bound until the end, but the atlantic might be giving the metro a run for their money. nope! not one bit!

THE TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS WILL MAKE IT OUT OF THE SECOND ROUND. there, i said it. tba!

the leafs will finally break the curse - however, they do not play boston in the first round and will lose to the b’s in the second round. tba... we shall see.

boston will go onto the eastern conference finals but will lose to the philadelphia flyers in game 7. tba... obviously i didnt predict a pandemic happening

tampa bay will be a powerhouse like they were the previous regular season, but once again will fail to show up in the playoffs. they will not be swept. powerhouse indeed... but not best in their division.

ottawa will have a (slight!) comeback season! they will not be amazing, but they will not be as awful as they have been. i think i just felt bad and said this. this did not happen.

buffalo will have a MUCH better season this year. ummmm kinda?

montreal will have an above mediocre season. carey price will sustain another injury, leaving montreal to rely on one of their prospects. pretty much mediocre. i think i remember price being injured.

cole caufield will sign with the canadiens the end of this season, or will sign if wisconsin loses early in the playoffs and the canadiens make it. wishful thinking... caufield to wisconsin for one more year.

detroit will fall to the bottom of the standings. yes. very much so. #getlarkinout

john tavares will have the c in toronto. auston matthews will have an a. toronto will be set on fire. not literally lmao yup! this happened and i’m proud of it:)

honestly the pacific is really iffy for me. i dont really like any of these teams besides the flames and the ‘nucks. this is a really mediocre division overall.  yes, they were mediocre.

matthew tkachuk will sign with the calgary flames. will suffer an injury early on in the season. he did sign, but no injury for tkachuky early in the season. it was in december.

edmonton will be mediocre. #getmcdavidoutofedmonton connor and leon will carry the team once more, the team will start off weak but make their way up in the standings as the season progresses. by the time they make their way up the ranks it will be too late. nope! edmonton shocked us ALL this year, and even before the pandemic they were on track to make the post season.

phil kessel will have almost no impact on the arizona coyotes whatsoever. he will have a horrible season without crosby. yeeaaahhh. kessel had 14-24-38 this season, but last season while playing in pittsburgh he had 27-55-82.

the vancouver canucks will be significantly better, however, quinn hughes will sustain an injury midway through the season, causing the canucks to suffer. the canucks were actually doing really well! quinn hughes did sustain an injury, but at the beginning of march. 

los angeles will still suffer to rebuild their franchise. jonathan quick will be injury plagued. with the signing of turcotte, who really knows however quick did not sustain any injuries this season.

anaheim will be a little bit better than they have been! not amazing, but not bottom of the league rankings. i’m saying they could end up being from 22nd - 18th ish nope! anaheim finished 27th.

viva las vegas! vegas will have a bit of a comeback season similar to their inaugural season. yup!

san jose will fall in the rankings ever so slightly. they will make a decent trade at some point in the season. san jose fell HARD in the standings.

dylan strome and alex debrincat will light the league up again once more - but this time, even more so than last season. they are the toews and kane 2.0 and will certainly be able to hold the fort down in chicago when the two retire. dylan strome had 12-26-38 and alex debrincat had 18-27-45. not awful.

dylan strome will have a 65+ point season. keep in mind strome was traded a few months into the season, imagine what his stats would look like if he had been with chicago the entire season? wishful thinking. but if we had played a full season i believe he would’ve at least made 50.

patrik laine will be traded from the winnipeg jets, but the jets will pull a new york islanders. they lose one of their franchise players but will still manage to kill it. nope! this did not happen, however there were many rumors of laine being traded. fortnite legend.

colorado will be a powerhouse this season. with the addition of andre burakovsky, burky will find himself in denver and will be back to his normal self. yup! colorado managed to surprise everyone with their run.

the reigning 2019 stanley cup champions will suffer the post-cup summer. they will not make it past the second round of the playoffs. well, we shall see.

minnesota will have a slightly better season - they will start to make their comeback. with a new general manager hopefully they will be able to start conspiring a new plan to get their team back up. hopefully they will be better at drafting players they really need. umm... no. but they did make the playoffs with the formatting.

the wild and the flyers will make a trade. nope!

dallas will pretty much stay the same. they wont be much better, wont be much worse. not a lot will happen with the stars this year. pretty much! the stars finished 4th last season and 3rd this season.

nashville will possibly make the playoffs but will have an early first round exit. duchene will be a problem. tba, but dont think duchene is a problem.

i preplanned those tunnel tweets + made a list of specifically what pictures i wanted and finished making the worms earlier this morning so like i wasnt Winging It at all but it sure felt like it! bc weve only ever gone to the tunnels as a group before, but today the only time i could go was in the 25 minutes before my evening class and no one else was free then so i was like whatever ill just go get my pictures and then to class and it’s fine. so i put my little sandwich baggie full of worms in my pocket and went over to the machinery building, which is where the tunnel entrance is, but the entrance is in the basement and there’s two ways to get into the basement both of which are almost always locked so i was like well i’ll just check and see if either of them are open. and it turned out the freight elevator was allowing trips to the basement so i got in and went down

the freight elevator spits you out in like this really cluttered and fucked-up looking storage basement basically which is where the tunnel entrance is and while the tunnel is dark the basement itself is usually lit by these shitty fluorescents HOWEVER! today when the elevator doors opened it was absolutely completely dark in the entire enormous basement. but at that point i was like i made it over here, i have my worms, i have my photo list, i have time before class, and what are the odds the elevator will be working again, ill just use my flashlight who cares. so i turned my flashlight on and started picking my way through to the tunnel entrance, except i stopped and made a detour to take pics in that little office room because i thought it would sorta look like the room where they found gertrude’s body and i could make a fun joke about it  ANYWAY as i’m coming out of the office room i notice that the stairway door directly across from me is open, which is weird because they’re Never open because they don’t want us to go down there. so i was like, shit, maintenance and/or security are down here and my only way out is the super obvious elevator so ill just wait them out so i like turned my flashlight off and crouched behind a bunch of shit

anyway i just sort of huddled in the dark for a while and soon enough it became clear that no one was actually coming so i took advantage of my proximity to the ground to scatter some worms and take that first worm pic where im pointing. and then i was like okay, might as well get the tunnel bit over with. so the area of the basement where the mouth of the tunnel is is closed off with this big metal fence and there’s like a wire-mesh on the front with a huge padlock only years and years of horrible college students have managed to sort of beat the bottom half of the gate a few inches outwards + compromise its integrity enough that its easy to pull far enough open for someone else to slip through. however my problems today were 1) like i said ive only ever gone with a group before, meaning i’d always had someone to hold the gate open for me, and i had never attempted to get through without assistance before let alone back out and 2) the gate is RIGHT next to the stairs that i mentioned earlier were open when they usually never are. so i stood there for a minute like... okay, say i DO try to get through myself, and i get stuck. OR, say that happens and THEN whoever was working down here comes back and im stuck so i get caught and in trouble.

and then i was like actually fuck it we ball so i like. sort of just got down fully on the ground (which was gross btw do not recommend) and like rolled and twisted and pushed myself around until i wiggled through. that was the moment when i sort of started to accept just how much tunnel dirt i was gonna be covered in by the end but it was so far past too late to back out so i headed into the tunnel entrance. it gets TRULY dark like really really soon after you walk in also like i thought the basement outside was dark because the lights were off but the tunnels are like....  DARK. anyway i stopped halfway down the entry tunnel to try and set up the like “worm door outline” thing from after MAG39 and like initially i had thought that i could figure out an okay way to at least temporarily get them on the wall bc theyre made of latex and super light but it was quickly apparent that that would not be the case so i found a patch of the floor that looked smooth enough to be a wall and set it up on there instead. so i’m like. squatting on the floor in this very dark and kind of gross tunnel, and i have my phone laying on the ground next to me flashlight-side-up so i can see as well as use both hands to dig cold little latex worms out of a sandwich baggie and arrange them in a pattern on the ground and the flashlight was lighting up the tunnel in the most fucked up way and it was dead silent and the WHOLE time i was like, and this is the moment when like a maintenance worker turns the corner and finds me and is just like, hello??? theres some clown playing with worms in the tunnel????

anyway that did not happen and instead i got my little doorway set up and then it was time to take the first pic (of the worm door by itself without me in it) which was when i realized that when i open my camera app my phone forcibly turns the flashlight off so every time i wanted to take a picture in the tunnels i was gonna have to turn my light off and just like chill alone in the pitch dark in a tiny tunnel for however long it took me to take each photo and i was like hm okay wig i guess so i took the door pic and then it took me like four tries to get myself positioned right for the cringe ass fail worms one because, surprisingly, it is difficult to position yourself directly in the center of an archway of worms that you cannot see, and while i was doing all those failed tries i got to spend a lot of time laying splayed out on my back in the dark on the tunnel floor anyway i got it finally so i just sort of kicked the worms to the sides and kept going in further. to get to the pit you have to turn left at the first fork and then take a right and then theres this weird like step? thing? in the middle of the tunnel and if youre me you have to do a super awkward crabwalk limbo step thing to get over it because the pipes on the ceiling above it are hot and the step comes up to like 6 inches below the pipe but also i dont like to touch the top of the step because its gross. so its always a production. this time i think they had worked on that pipe recently or something because it was leaking so the step was wet and the pipe dripped hot water onto my neck while i was crawling under it LMAO

anyway from there its a straight shot and it opens out into this like larger room near the entrance to the engine room and the pit is right at the edge of where the dirt of the tunnel turns into the concrete of the room floor. and theyve like half-covered the top of it in wooden planks but theyre not held down so when you have to step on them just for a second to get out of the tunnel its so nervewracking. theres overhead lights in that room though so that was nice idk if i couldve managed the flashlight-camera-transition in the dark AND one-handed. so i took my from-above tunnel pic and then i was like (checks my photos list) “well...... i did say id get two from inside the pit.” i had actually never been in the pit before because the other two times i’ve gone to the tunnels i’ve been with other people and they would barely even let me get near it let alone get on the ladder. so i was like well i guess there is a first time for everything so i put my phone in my back pocket and ducked under the little yellow chain they have up and started going down the ladder and i got like 8? maybe 10? feet down before i thought to look down again and let me just say..... all the times we had looked into that pit from above we had never guessed anywhere CLOSE to how deep it actually was. thats all. so i was like.... um i was expecting to be able to like, stand on solid ground while i take this pit selfie, but that was clearly not going to be an option, but also i had committed this far already to getting these pics from the pit so i was like ugh i guess and hooked my one arm over the ladder so i could get my phone out w the other hand and take the pics from in there. and then i climbed back out. the ladder rungs made my hands SO gross and dirty with rust i was like eugh eugh.

but after that the only picture left to take was the one w my pen and the only way for me to go was back out towards the entrance so i was like its fine im almost done. so i went back out until i got to the tunnel after the first fork and i was like cool here’s a good a place as any so i got my pen ready + went to get my camera out, and literally RIGHT as the flashlight went out and the camera app opened i was like SO sure i saw something move vaguely in the darkness to my right like REALLY close to me shoulder height so i was like uhhh no and took a flash photo more out of reflex than anything and i didnt see anything but also the flash lit up for like,  one second and then it was dark again so i like switched back to the flashlight really quick and obviously it was just a normal tunnel and i was the only one there so i opened the camera app again to try to take the pic again and literally just like the first time right as the flashlight turned off i was soooo sure something moved right next to me like so close but i was like “nell. youre being insane.” so i didnt do anything and i just took like three more possible variations on the pic i wanted and then i turned my flashlight back on and once again obviously nothing was amiss so i was like epic win and went back out the tunnel entrance. and then i was like............. oh god i have to do the gate squirm again. but there was no other way so i just did it really fast before i could really get worked up about it lol and then i went back over to the freight elevator only when i pressed the button it would light up and then immediately go dark when i unpressed it and i was like oh fuck because 90% of the time when you get in on the ground floor this elevator literally refuses to take you to the basement and i was like oh no it re-locked while i was down here and now i can’t get up this way so im just like in this basement for the foreseeable future but then of course as i was going down that tangent the elevator doors opened and i stepped into the fluorescent light and looked down and was like wow i am just so thoroughly, completely, orangely covered in dirt. but i made it home with like 5 minutes to wash up a bit before my evening class so that was a win! i did learn however that i should never take my evening dose of adderall directly after a bit of minor breaking&entering while the adrenaline is still there because when i got to class i almost jackhammered a hole through the floor with my shakyleg

Riven’s dad is a long term researching studying the extreme temperatures at zenith’s poles. Riven was unplanned, and for the first 2 years he didn’t know Riven existed so suddenly being handed a toddler was very stressful.He’s emotionally and physically distant with Riven, who he does not understand and can’t figure out how to relate to. Riven’s mom isn’t in the picture. 

Helia’s dads met at Lynphea college, and were at each other’s throats for most of it lol. Tan dad is Headmaster saladin’s son and refused to go to red fountain because of that (they don’t have a bad relationship, it was just teen/20s rebelliousness) so he went to Lynphea college and joined the sorcerer program there. (lynphea college is a mixed school including fairies, witches, sorcerers, wizards, and warriors all together). Pale dad was/is a very disciplined paladin who refused to use any magic at all and thought it was “cheating”. They got put on a rescue mission together and it was chaos, but they were dating by the end of it lol. They feel they represent the duality of earth and sky, and wear corresponding necklaces.    

Timmy’s mom is the head engineer for the Comet Colony, keeping the giant inner working of the comet working. She’s a total genius, but her methods are…. questionable at best and insane at worst. She and Timmy both need to wear the red tinted glasses to filter light. Her unique blood chemistry kind of makes her a living metal detector. Timmy’s father was a short term crew member, before taking off who-knows-where.

Nex’s parents live in one of the few heavily industrialized cities on Lynphea. Mom is a Mare Lynphean and is a guide for extreme adventure tour planning company who take adrenaline seekers on camping trips or hikes to Lynphea’s more dangerous areas. Dad is a Silva Lynphean and is a manager at an insurance company, as well as a part time beach bum. 

Brandon’s parents are both employed by the Eraklyon Royal court. Mom is captain of the royal guard. Eraklyon was ruled by a very evil queen for a while in their history, and as a result people are hesitant to put women in leadership positions. Brandon’s mom is fighting that and encourages young women to pursue goodness and compassion(she takes Diaspro under her wing in the guard in season 5 but realizes its gonna take a whiiiiile to change that girl’s attitude so diaspro’s still a work in progress). Brandon’s dad is the Royal Chef, and doesn’t really understand Brandon’s more modern hair and clothing but wholeheartedly supports his son in all of his endeavors. They are both HUGE fans of stella and dote on her whenever possible. 

Samara and Erendor are about the same as canon. Samara and Erendor are both strict and value the traditions of Eraklyon, which can lead to some problems both within and outside of of their marriage. Erendor still feels incredible guilt for breaking his promise with Oritel and while Samara always says he did the right thing by protecting his people he still specifically avoids Oritel at formal events(even tho oritel just wants them to be bros again) Erendor is older than his brother by only a few years. 

Throren’s parents are third in line for the throne (if erendor/samara and sky/bloom died or abdicated they would be in charge) currently they rule over one of Eraklyon’s larger states. Dad is fairly similar to Erendor, strict and stubborn. Mom can be a bit absent minded, and writes poetry which is actually pretty popular (published under a pseudonym of course)   

Roy’s moms got together after roy was born. they were childhood friends and worked together in Roy’s family’s boat business as adults. Roy’s bio dad is still sort of around, but is more like a weird uncle that shows up occasionally than a parent, roy considers leg mom and fish mom his actual parent. Leg mom handles a big part of the finances for the business (math genius as well), and fish mom handles design development and implementation as well as boat repairs in the water. They both worked on the wheelchair design, and have patented it, but donated most of the proceeds to a foundation that makes accessibility tools for merfolk-human hybrids.

Nabu’s parents are incredibly successful, multi-generational, business owners. dad has a huge library, and when stressed out will hide away in there for days. Mom is into pottery and occasionally has commissions for her clay work. They do love nabu, but had a lot of unrealistic expectations for him. They met aisha when she brought Nabu’s body back to Andros and, in grief, were very harsh on her, blaming her for their son’s death. They are still working through their feelings and have reached out to aisha asking for forgiveness as part of the healing process.

ive got a few stories going on but most of them are in EARLY stages, my main piece is about a girl named mishka linkovich, its a superhero theme thing so expect stupidity :3;;;; also the superhumans are called masks, whether they’re heroes or villains or vigilantes, if they have super powers then theyre masks

mishka lives in an apartment with her “step father” mordecai who used to be the worlds greatest mercenary but he retired to become a florist, but he still keeps tabs on his old shit and actually helps the local hero and his sidekick lmao im ngl im wildly proud of mordecai please ask about him

mishka has messy hazard orange hair that stops just above her shoulders and bangs that cover her left eye,gunmetal blue eyes that are p dead-looking and cold, she’s usually glaring but it’s not on purpose shes just in a lot of pain constantly haha and like. a STUPID amount of scars. like. you dont know, dude. you just dont. noteably, theres a scar across her neck from when it got Yoinked open with a broken bottle aye

she also wears baggy clothing cos she doesnt go shopping, she just gets clothes from her friends so everything she owns is a handmedown

a bit about the world, superheroes are paid to protect their cities, which they are Very territorial about and the government chooses which hero gets which city, mishkas city has a hero named Atomic Man, his sidekick is Nova Boy. 

little bit about them, they’re dumb. 

they are just dumb lmao. Atomic Man is basically picture perfect generic superhero, blond hair, blue eyes, show-off muscles (as in they are purely for decoration), super strength and flight. Nova Boy is novice level pyro since he’s still getting a hang on his power but he basically makes explosions. he is the brains so to speak because he helps make gadgets for himself and his hero, he is ALSO Atomic Man’s step son lol hes got dark brown hair and brown eyes and hes about thirteen

mishka isnt uh the Best Person. this might sound cliche but idrc, she’s a former child soldier and mordecai is helping her work through it so she can fit into normal society but i try to make her blood thirst tie into more of an addiction type thing than glorifying it, you know?? like not ever is it viewed as a good thing but it is understood that she does need help n shit

anyway next friend is Loralei, single mother, pregnant, ex-nurse, stay-at-home-mom who makes tiny toys and clothes and sells them online also she’s Super stick thin like its a concern also shes bald and has wings

btw there are winged people in this world lmao sorry, yeah, mordecai has wings too and i have like references and shit. to be more specific, the wings fit the person. they’re always like 3-5 longer than the body’s height. like mordecai is almost 7 feet tall so his wings are mcfuckin Big and also very dark brown with red undertone, very fluffy, very healthy while LORALEIS are thin, she doesnt shed her feathers properly, she is obviously underfed and looks very frail but she’s So happy and chipper all the time.

loralei always wears pink and yellow and Bright teal dont ask me why dude idk but shes a very good mom and moms @ mishka a lot and shes one of the only people mishka genuinely trusts despite the fact only dewey and mordecai know about her killing people (she doesnt want loralei to leave her, which, mood)

third friend is a shadow creature that eats people in the alley beside the apartment complex but ill. ill go into that another time. jfc.

i have recs!!! first of all ty for asking me abt it hdgfs !! i’ll make u a list !! i will try to stay concise but i have bolded n linked the most important stuff since i tend to blabber a lot! there r groups i purposely didnt recommend! also! i advise you to look up who did what if you want to know why idcs abt certain artists that r big in kpop (like big//ba//ng, su//ju, bl//ock//b, ma//ma//moo & so on) tl;dr: kpop basics (spotify) + @tearera (my kpop sb)

i’ll start w some RECS but jsyk kpop as u might have heard of it is mainly composed of groups! which is why i’ll start w groups then soloists! of course u can check out most of them on spotify (u can listen to their playlist of the most famous songs atm!). please notice that the kpop industry is very ‘classic’ when it comes to concepts (cute r for gorls! badass r for boys!) so um. yeah. yikes. if i had to argue abt all the things i find wrong in this industry this post would become a manifesto, u can always pm me if u want to hear me complain lmao 

GIRL GROUPS

honestly…. TWICE are the first one that came to my mind when i thought of ggs to rec. they’re a 9 member group labelled under jyp entertainment n have debuted in 2015 with the bop like ooh aah… that u can listen to! their genre is mainly cute songs but dont be fooled!! they have extremely powerful songs & lyrics as well! some good starts with their music are LIKEY (2017, a bop, great melody, great rapping, one of their ult feel good songs, played @ the olympics), TT (2016, queens of halloween!), and also their most recent song WHAT IS LOVE (2018, iconic!! gay!! bop!! sweet!! great album!!). as twice are the kind that can set you off by their cuteness and playful vibes, i recommend you to check out some of their side tracks. personality wise, the girls r very fun and sweet! they’re all angels and i love them all THIS MUCH!! if u want to know, sana & dahyun r my favourite members!         

also queens, but from sm entertainment this time, Red Velvet are a 5 member gg who have debuted in 2015 with the song Happiness (at that time they were only 4 but the youngest member, Yeri, joined later on!). some very famous songs of theirs are… basically all their title tracks but i’d mainly recommend Russian Roulette, Dumb Dumb (also my fave rv music video!!), Peek-a-boo (what’s better than lesbians witches slaying men and eating pizza), Bad Boy (honestly… one of their best songs… title track of their repackaged album…good shit if u will). of course! there are some side tracks i will recommend! i will frankly say that i listen to a lot of their music and they’re my favourite musically! some faves in no particular order are automatic, cool hot sweet love, huff n puff, something kinda crazy, about love, kingdom come, little little and talk to me! they have very versatile genres and have two main themes of music, the red and the velvet, though these mix often! rlly! their music really good. they have amazing choreographies too!!!!

the third gg i will rec are one that have not debuted yet, it’s LOONA! get ready bc they are a 12 member group with one girl for every month. each girl was revealed every month staring from 2016 with a single album composed of one song and one side track that usually features another member! as this group has yet to debut, i cannot show you anything with all twelve members but! they work with units, there are three: loona 1/3, odd eye circle, and yyxy (tune in for their debut scheduled for may!) that each have an album. 1/3 r more of a cute girly concept, while odd eye circle have played strongly on the girl crush & rnb concept. we have yet to see what yyxy has for us n im frankly v excited!!! my fave singles are Around You (hyunjin), Let Me In (haseul), Singing in the rain (jinsoul, best girl), Eclipse (kim lip), and Heart Attack (by chuu!! also best girl). they have already released a lot of music so go ahead & listen to it! their music videos have a plot and it’s one of those theories fandom (loonaverse)! the positions that all the members will have wasn’t been revealed yet!

the main group i stan is BTS aka the bangtan boys and yes… they’re everywhere… they deserve it tbh… so theyre a 7 member boy group and they’re the first kpop group i ever stanned! they have released a lot of songs already but i’ll just mark something! bts are known for their cinematography and plot in their music videos as well as their politically/socially engaged songs. they debuted in 2013 with the youth-conscious song no more dream and um. forget the mv. the message is what’s important. secondly! my favourite eps & albums are DARK&WILD (forget abt war of hormone), The Most Beautiful Moment in Life pt2, WINGS, and Love Yourself 轉 Tear (which will be released on May 18th so stay tuned!). here’s a beginner’s list to bts & their music videos: spring day, blood sweat & tears, run, fire, i need u, and intros: singularity, serendipity. i cannot recommend bts songs bc i’d be unable to pick some, but here is my bangtan favourites playlist and spotify’s This Is BTS! n their most known song atm, still on charts, DNA. another thing!! they dabble in a lot of genres! there is a constant symbolism in most of their songs and music videos, which is why there are theories! also, here are my fave choreos (x x x) & non-official releases (x x x)! also! j-hope recently released a mixtape! check it out! it’s v good! the bad thing is that the fandom is massive n it is filled with young fans so a lot of fan-created content is cringey. apart from that! theyre lovely as a band n i’m not ashamed to say that they bring me most of my joy these days!

then there is… NCT. ok, let’s dive into them. nct is the acronym for Neo Culture Technology, they’re currently an 18 member boy group but hey! don’t be scared! they too work in units and have only released one song which features all 18 of them! it is likely that the band will expand later on & that the name NCT will become a brand (like akb48 u know). so far! there are three units! NCT DREAM (based on age, with the youngest members who r still minors), NCT U (the first unit to have debuted, aka nct united, a rotative unit with no fixed genre or members list) and NCT 127 (seoul based unit, fixed, with 9 members). they’re known for their experimentative and diversified sound, which goes from ballads to… this. while each unit have their distinct genre and vibe, they’re all under the same label of nct! and um, check out spotify’s nct playlist if u want! here r some songs that are basics! bolded r the faves! jsyk i hated their music & their clothes @ first bc it’s so unique so dw if u dislike them!

some of the art in this playing-in-a-field montage is v good. I thought aistars had a lot of promise artistically because the character designs were so unique (even if aikatsu and aifriends are more to my taste personally), but the only times I can easily think of them showing it off are Yume’s first CD cover and the Yume/Aria photoshoot from earlier this season. that’s... all. I guess the non-cgi parts of the rainbow power scenes from the first season were kind of there too, but not so much...

oh damn surprise double Sun Dresses... apparently having them has allowed Yume and Rola to communicate telepathically as well. amazing.

and... it (Aikatsu Stars, all of it) is over. whew... I won’t even bother trying to compare it to Aikatsu, which lasted four years and has the distinct advantage of being The First One. I think the writers of aistars weren’t entirely expecting it to only last two years either, as a lot of people have pointed out re: the plot being wrapped up really quick and easy (so I don’t need to rehash that, I think. just I agree... for the most part.)

but I thought both seasons started strong with an interesting plot that I was excited to see get resolved (regardless of what actually happened later), and I loved basically every song and I thought the coords in season 2 were especially cute and fancy. most importantly, I started playing aikatsu the game with the start of aikatsu stars! it was my main interaction with it more than the anime, so my feelings about “Aikatsu Stars” as a whole are overwhelmingly fond.

it’s too early to say whether I’m going to miss it or how much or whatever, as I still plan to play the game more before the end, and I still don’t have any significant thoughts about aifriends...... and I really don’t understand how everyone in the tags does already.......... but I know I'm not unconsolable like I was when aikatsu ended (just typing that out now makes me feel a little sad lmao!! it’s been two years!!) and aifriends’ theme of being the best friends feels a lot more like the true successor to aikatsu, vs. aistars’ theme of just being number one.

mostly right now I’m a lot more interested in what aifriends is gonna be like, instead of dwelling on anything in particular from aistars. (...not that I’m absolutely never going to post about it again though, haha.)

my grandma has a business shes been working on for years. im the only grand child that has been consistent in helping her with her business, but honestly its overwhelming because she wants to discuss things for hours and i honestly be ready to tap out 30 minutes in.  Even though i am a videographer/editor, i honestly dont have the capacity to edit everything my family randomly asks for. Editing a trailer requires different skill sets than a documentary, which requires different skill sets than a commercial or a narrative film, etc. Its like my family thinks i can do it all just because i have experience with video. But everything i know required a long time of research and just time in general to get there. so when they ask my opinion on things im not skilled in and really take everything to weight it just feels like a lot of pressure.  i was supposed to help her shoot this video for her business, but then i tested positive for covid and now i genuinely dont wanna go out there to see her. Shes gotten vaccinated but its only a 95% chance of not getting it. And when i tested positive i was asymptomatic the whole time, so its scary regardless. And the amount of time it takes to do the things they are asking for, it requires time and planning and effort on everyones half not just mine.  My grandma emailed me something and then called me and was like get back to me what you think. And its just not that good of photoshop work since she made it herself, and its a lot of effort putting into words what she needs to do to be successful because it requires me researching it because i dont have a background in the stuff shes asking me to speak on. So its just frustrating because i dont like talking about hitngs in detail that i dont know -- esp when she is basing her money off of my critique. I dont like the pressure. So we talked and i told her how overwhelmed i was with life, and she gave me advice to be more disciplined -- which i appreciated and know that i need to do. She told me to hit people back when i can, but then called me 4 times (every 2 hours) to give her critique on the things she sent .and im like bruh, what youre asking for isnt a quick convo so its not something i feel like getting into my birthday week/leading into valentines day.  its just frustrating when my family calls me with these very big ideas and expects me to do the labor just because im a videographer and editor. Like that is not a job you just wing-it or something that i should bear the responsibilities for as an individual for someone elses dream. even tho i believe in her, i dont feel like i should be expected to give feedback immediately. ill get back with you when i can with real critique since i can see off bat it needs work. But it will turn into a 3 hours convo and i just dont want to talk that long about this idea  because i dont know marketing and i dont really know design.  Look i made a `100+ slide powerpoint on how to use various social media platforms since my grandma didnt know how to work Facebook, twitter, etc. But it didn't even pay off because she doesnt even post on those sites because being a social media manager and a Ceo is hard lmao. So of course she isnt like doin design work n shit. but its like she asked me so i did even tho i knew those hours i put it werent really gonna be helpful to anyone.

I've been putting off writing confessions for the longest time. After everything that happened with Cody, this game just kinda feels empty. Both Aimee’s and Pedro’s games have sorta been like being on the bottom/outs for most of merge but still making it to the end. I think my game has been a bit more traditionally impressive, although still nothing close to perfect. I didn’t necessarily dominate but I usually knew what was going on. I think I have a good chance with the two of them at the end.

I feel like I kinda want to fuck things up a little LOL Olivia apologised for HAVING to vote for me tonight. Like the flip was good but Sarah won immunity so sorry about that. Did these people really think I'd "flip" without thinking about every possible scenario or outcome, without a plan? That I'd just be their little doll to dangle around? Both Olivia and Aimee are so satisfied with being Pedro's minions. I don't get it. How are you not seeing the obvious threat lmao. Pedro has convinced them all THAT Sarah is the main threat based on the popularity contest. Honestly? I'm done.

This vote has got me confused as all hell. It seems like Najwah is signing her jury certificate. I tried to give her a lifeline to not vote her out and have it potentially tie between Najwah and Olivia, but Najwah wants Pedro out real bad. She’s not even willing to vote Sarah out at Final four even if Sarah doesn’t win immunity, which many of us agreed all season she could win if she made it there. Najwah, I love my gurl but we just have different ideas on our top 3 in the end. Pedro is Team Tumblr! Team Michele is a Queen! Even if this means he wins the game I’m not voting out my buddy. End of story.

The plan for tribal tonight is for Naj and I to vote Pedro. I may message Olivia last minute and tell her to vote Pedro if she wants to be saved tonight because Aimee and Pedro may write Olivia or Naj. Olivia told Naj she is writing her name down. Either way, Naj has her idol and we are safe! If it goes to a revote with 2 on Pedro and 2 on Olivia then Naj and I will be able to revote together and vote our Pedro. He may even play a fake idol that we think Amy gave him. I really hope he doesn’t have a real idol, I am ready for this villain to be voted out. Olivia AI’m really nervous about tonight. FOUR MINUTES before tribal Sarah sent me a message saying “vote for Pedro to make sure you’re safe” which felt very much like a threat to try to get me to vote with them even tho they don’t have an idol. Najwah said the same thing to Aimee. We decided to stick with voting for Najwah. At the end it wouldn’t have mattered since they had an idol. As long as I can win final immunity I should be fine. It’s sad to see Pedro go after he + Aimee were my closest people after my whole oringial alliance crumbled. Still super annoyed at Sarah for sending me that FOUR MINUTES before tribal what the hell is up with that.

I just had to confess that as a I walked into Chile’s tonight after tribal, the song “Survivor” was playing. I mean, I’m not saying survivor gods are real but I’m not saying they are fake either.

I feel really good about all parts of this challenge! You never know what could happen but I see myself winning this one. All that really matters is that it’s not Sarah, though. It seems like Aimee is doing really well, too, so I’m confident we’ll be able to beat Sarah and vote her out.

It’s disappointing to have not won but at least I was tied for second + within one point of the person who won. And it’s great to see Aimee win because I’ve been working with her through to the end. And Sarah didn’t win! Even though I didn’t win immunity I still feel essentially safe and on my way to FTC.

So apparently the jury found my twitter yesterday and I just feel so.. Ugh. Like my privacy was invaded or something. I feel like it took the fun out of everything. I didn't mind them seeing all that after but it's like reading my confessions before the game is over. I'm happy being in the final 3 but honestly, I'm just super annoyed at Aimee for sending me that last message just before tribal. All passive aggressive. I hate that the minute she got immunity she thought it was her right to act like someone who's in control of MY game. Sarah deserved to be in the final. More than all 3 of us.
