before anyone starts berating others on here for the 2024 us election results, keep in mind that beyond voter suppression tactics and restrictive registration laws, the majority of nonvoters didn't vote for reasons such as:

they were so checked out from politics they thought biden was still in the race and had to google the day of the election to check

they barely noticed it was an election year

it didn't even occur to them to go vote because "i have my own problems" and "it doesn't affect me much what they do over in D.C."

again, tumblr is very insular and not a good representation of the overall us population's politics and social theories. while it is justified to be upset with people who chose not to vote or to vote third party over palestine or other important issues, know that they are by far a minority compared to the rest of the population, which is mostly just full of folks who simply didn't give a fuck

Oh my god Otis is losing his primary round in Fat Bear Week everyone go vote Otis HERE. He is old old man who showed up late to Brooks River this summer, all skin and bones, and he has chonked up!
