I had this very weird period last summer during which I went on walk around the village I used to live in while listening to music. That in itself isn't weird, but I did that while listening to Little Nightmares 1 & 2 music. And it was so weird because I was so very relaxed, too- like, you'd think that taking a walk in a near-empty village while listening to horror game music would be uncomfortable, right? But no. I was just. Relaxed. With my earbuds. Slowly walking down the streets. Seeing slugs and other grass animals and bugs on the side of the road. Would recommend. Has its eerie moments (like the one time I found a dead bird- the music definitely enhances the experience lmao) but overall has to be the habit I was the saddest to lose after moving away for uni.

I'm running on 3 hrs of sleep bc i stayed up till 5am to make this and then i had a neurologist appt at 8 so!!! (i got officially diagnosed with adhd or add we win, i already forgot which one he said but i get my meds tmrw!!) I might take a nap after this im so exhausted. ANYWAYS.!!! i love. flowey and clover friendship no one start yelling at me abt how flowey didnt care!!! theyre best friends to me!!!! and it works out as im a clover kinnie nd floweys been my comfort character for years now. we win. I don't think monsters really had binders at first (dont use bandages btw guys, dont be like Starlo was!!11) I think the first time one fell into the trash dump or wtvr someone picked it up and then once figuring out its uses just!! boom!! business!! figuring out how to safely make more and!!! finding ways to accommodate certain monsters with different body types!! esp with the spikes and such. Ceroba def helped Starlo out with his bandages often before they were able to get him a binder. the one where clovers drawing is !! an idea of revived!clover or clover staying in the underground in hiding. Martlet got him that shirt :)) and obv the bell earring is from Ceroba. sorry to all my cotl followers i STILL have no colored the 5 body refs of both narinder and lambert. I picked the colors here on a whim so uhmmm it's not official!!! not yet anyways!! i do like what i used for Narinders fur tho, so that might stay idk yet i hte coloring BNJKNKSD i colored this whole thing on a wild impulse.. thus staying up all night. I think clover would really enjoy waterfall if they were ever able to visit it after or during the whole soul thing. It's peaceful and beautiful and also one of my fav areas in base game sooo :) i missed my LN kids. I reread Raccoons on ao3 and remembered how much i loved them and their silly lil dynamic. im a #1 six defender btw i WILL throw hands if u say some wrong shit abt her. mono, less so bc i think a lot of people have a good grasp on his character now but six is ALWAYS villainized. Has been for years nd it ticks me off bc?? she was right for her actions kinda?? not really?? ofc both characters made bad choices that lead to it but dont disregard her feelings either? idk its a whole thing i cant get into on THIS post. a lot of the doodles are just random moments like Six in the Maw with their bigass keys and locks, maybe its one of the ones to the kitchen and thats why she's rushing :D? Mono isnt really. he wasnt meant to be in the end game room but i wanted funky lighting so do with that as u will. What a wonderful ask to wake up to! A tall order, tho, so I had to think about this for a bit, and it was harder than I thought it'd be. I've got a lot of favorites! Here are my top five favorite works of my own, not in any particular order:

The Art of Being Alive — Bendy and the Ink Machine

What would you expect if your former best friend wanted to see you again after seven years of silence?  Not this, Henry thought viciously as he swung his axe back and forth, like a murderous metronome. Never this. Or; an AU where Joey invites Henry back after less than a decade, because he discovers that only Henry’s drawings work in the Ink Machine. It's all downhill from there.

Of course this story is on my list. TAoBA was my first big project, fic or otherwise, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I learned so much by writing this story, and while I'd do some things differently now, after years more practice and experience, TAoBA still makes me so incredibly proud. I met a lot of friends and amazing people through this fic, genuinely had so much fun with it, and I credit it and BatIM as a whole for where I am today as a fic writer.

Side Effects of Friendship — Little Nightmares

Six deciding to save Mono in the Signal Tower was only the beginning.  (this is a good-end, no-loop AU of my own making, as part of my quest to give these kids a happy ending)

Is it cheating to put a whole series as just one entry? I say no, lol. This AU and series is one of my favorites for a number of reasons. It's a very cohesive story, which I'm super proud of, and the journey I put the kids through mentally, emotionally, and physically was just so dang fun to write. I was super excited as I worked up to and hinted at the surprise twist at the end, and I really enjoyed taking this nightmarish world and expanding it in my own way. The themes of healing really seemed to resonate with a lot of people, and that also makes me super proud of this set of stories.

Flood and Firestorm — Bendy and the Ink Machine

But it must have paused near his corridor because there was no way to ignore it. And the words registered. “…the Ink Demon’s refusal to terminate. Keepers have administered quarter hourly sessions of physical tortures—” Henry’s eyes snapped up. The kindling caught. (Henry overhears a Keeper making an audio log about how they're torturing the Ink Demon and goes ballistic.)

I've got a lot of BatIM fics that I'm super proud of, but this one makes the list because I am just so pleased and proud of a lot of the language in this fic. This was one of the first ones I wrote upon my return to the BatIM fandom, and I love it a whole lot. Henry gets to go a little bit feral, too, and that was a genuine blast to write. I've returned to reread this one a whole bunch of times.

93% Stardust — Godzilla

Indignation on his behalf, lingering irritation at Monarch, determination to help—she held on to those feelings. They’d gotten her this far, and if she forget why she was about to throw herself headfirst into the head of a giant mech with Ghidorah of all monsters at the helm, then she might as well give up now.  She slid the helmet on, squeezing her eyes shut as she did, and it was like being struck by lightning.  It was like becoming lightning. (I can't be the only one who wanted Maddie to get in the pilot seat, c'mon)

This one makes the list solely because of how much I love the final product. The abstract section was so much fun to write, and I still love the idea of Maddie getting into Mechagodzilla's head. The self-indulgence for this one was off the charts, which makes this one of my favorites!

Poetic Justice — Five Nights at Freddy's

tumblr prompt: In one world, Glitchtrap is nothing but Afton and code, forcing Vanessa into the role of Vanny in order to create Afton a new body. In another, Glitchtrap is Spring Bonnie’s original personality (before Afton), and he and Vanessa are looking for the last remains of Afton in order to destroy it for good… and just watched Gregory casually find it after months of searching. (Or, Vanessa's going to have a headache by the end of tonight.)

This one might be a surprise to some people, but I absolutely love this one-shot. The concept, the characters, the potential... it all just ticks a few very specific boxes in my brain, lol. I've gone back to reread this one many times, and I usually end up imagining different first meetings between Gregory and Michael afterward.

Hi! <3 L Game? as in Little Nightmares?

I'll go least fav to fav 3. Very Little Nightmares. Tiny mobile app screen where you tap to control. The screen cannot recognize my meaty fingers's input!!!!! UGH I'm just annoyed with the controls. The story was fine I suppose but felt like it lacked something. Lacked some oomph. Lacked true moments of horror. Not made by the original developers. Was the first LN game to introduce the fact that there are other children out there with scary supernatural powers. This LN game was a side story for the explanation behind the hanging man from LN 1. (At least... kind of.... the hanging man is a weird situation thanks to the comics...) It's an odd Six cop-out. We're led to believe this character we are playing is Six, only to reveal at the end she's a whole different character and then just... immediately killing her off. We can't even figure out who she is as a person. We don't really have any interactions with other characters enough to solidify her personality. I did adore the hidden easter eggs in the game. Nome with a bow was cute. I was curious about the other enemies and their circumstances, like why the butler is handcuffed. Where the girl's mother was. How so many kids end up at the Nest. Really only lead to more questions than answers.

2. LN1 is really good. Heavy Ghibli inspiration. A great introduction to a dark world, a unique dollhouse camera angle perspective style. A slight rocking to the screen to indicate you're on a boat. The amazing lighting. The finale; Six walking off sucking out souls of the guests that chased her to eat her, when she's now eating them. Perfect revenge power trip. Knowing she no longer has to physically consume things anymore. The nome she killed, but all the nomes she hugged still coming over to watch her leave (?) great scenes... The DLC introduced tough water mechanics that glitched out the physics engine but still were interesting enough for the DLC character. Showcasing a true addition to the Maw to peak the interest of viewers. The horrific and terribly sad ending and plot twist that took everyone by shock. Despite its glitches and perspective-deaths, its still overall a solid game. 1. LN2. I'll admit LN 1 is more put together than the second game. The sequel (or prequel rather) seemed messy in development, like they weren't sure where to really go with it. They had a lot of rough concepts and a lot of it seemed to get scrapped mid-production. Seems like they even intended for heavy DLC exploration with other children too. With how it turned out, its a pretty decent game. But knowing the scrapped DLC content and alt. directions the story was gonna take, it feels like a bit of a confused narrative. We got confirmation that the children really do turn into grotesque adults. That there are other children with creepy powers. We know of Shadow Six's origins. We know why people flee to the Maw or other places away from the mainland. The concepts are frankly more fascinating than the finished story, (children plugged into tvs, Mono feeding Six or Six feeding Mono, giant ???? meat baby???? you can't top THAT) tho the finished story is probably cleaner than the latter. Six dropping Mono at the end was so shocking to everyone and after thinking hard about it, I can't find any real logistical or emotional reason for her to do so. I think it was just genuinely a forced in betrayal for shock value. And hey, it certainly was shock value. Despite this game ending in completion, or really, a loop... and despite it being a PREQUEL... I can't help but feel like this game ends on a cliffhanger to me. Like there's more to the story. There's stuff untold about this universe. So LN 2 and LN1 are really close in favoritism. LN2 had the most fascinating concept art ...without Ghibli Bath Houses to take inspiration from like in LN1, so they really took it in risky directions. But I still acknowledge LN1 is more solid of the two. I think I just enjoy the LN2 mechanics a bit more. I like working together with Six, though frankly I was really disappointed learning that LN2 was in fact, not a multiplayer game. That Six gets separated from Mono several times throughout. I have plenty more to say about these games but this is probably the simplest assessment to give right now!

joonie said this entire album was a recollection of everything hes done in his 20s aka the transformative years of his life and you can ABSOLUTELY hear the member influences (at first i heard the sope influences bc they have the biggest body of work so their style is most distinct but upon relistens its really a love album to his younger self (you can really tell its an evolution from rm and mono) and his members. ALSO i love how he modulates and changes his style and timbre to fit the style and quirks of his featuring artist? hes so fucking cool????? oh my GOD?????? anyways heres the impressions by song:

track one: yun ft. erykah badu very hot of him to start the entire album w 'FUCK THE TRENDSETTERS' the bassline the restraint of a laidback soundscape the reverb set to max the lines 'I wanna be a human / ‘Fore I do some art / It’s a cruel world / But there’s gon’ be my part' is so fucking insane? fuck. this song lyrically is all about uncertainty and the soundscape has a lot of space for growth and white space for art to be exhibited dare i say, its like the debut group's first stage? full of promises and expectations and uncertainty, but you march ahead regardless......what a sexy first song on the track track two: still life ft. anderson paak

BRING IN THE FUNK HELLS YEA VHOPE IS VIBING SO HARD RN I JUST KNOW IT now the empty space and reverb bassline is given some direction and happiness here. still life is a form of art and thus begins rm's first piece of art here in his lil art collection and joon accepting that things will come as they are and ppl will try to reduce him down to one thing, but hes still a fully realized human moving forwards like us all

track three: all day ft. tablo

ok this bassline and instrumental SCREAMS yoongi to me. the lil kick between verses the beats w the bassline the high melody line the bridge that sick transition from verse to chorus like no wonder tablo is here. i know yoongi draws lots of inspiration from epik high so it makes sense. sonically speaking this song takes the funky sounds of the previous track and condenses it and brings a hint of melancholy just in time for our next track. speaking on less fun notes, tablo is really the only other person who survived such vicious tonguelashing and emerged more powerful and a better person and im just glad joonie has someone to look up to.

track four: forgetful ft. kim sawol oh our queen of folk here to deliver some nice kindie chill vibes thank you i need it for our coming song mwah. here we slowly start to hear the funky bright poppy merge to a chill sound this song was for tae i just know it!!! sonically theres some fun stuff going on but it feels like a cooldown piece for the rest of the album. joonie really said i can pull off ALLLLLLLL genres.

track five: closer ft. paul blanco mahalia

the rnb influences the syncopation the pop beats i bet jk is having the time of his life singing to the chorus. the guitar and the beat and the piano makes me an immediate fan. also they modulated the message beep to be in the same key??? as the song?????? AND it gives us a diving board into the electronica of the next song and then the sound expands when joonie comes in???? i love it.

track six: change pt. 2

OOF KIM NAMJOON DID SUM NASTY WORK ON THIS SONG ITS SO GOOD ok ok ok so this sudden electronica synthpop isnt jarring bc joonie did a fantastic job ordering this album BUT you know whats the fucking kicker???? the way he arranged this song. on paper this song should NOT fucking work but it does bc they used the same chord from the synths as the piano that comes in later even tho it turns to double time half way thru the song and it would be amazing at there BUT(dont quote me on this) change and change pt 2 are either in the same key or are on relative keys AND if you listen to change ft wale which starts on the piano and goes to electronica, he does the exact opposite here???? fuck and the lyrics mirror each other as well????? fuckK

ive told you pretty much everything i wanted but fuck the production on this song is just so fucking good. the details. the expert control of the soundscape. the arrangement. i cant wait to hear vocal line sing youjeen's lines. i also love that he put his title song at the end bc hes at the end of his 20s. this is him currently. hes still growing and growing roots and stretching to the sun fuck man i cant believe this song took over my most played joonie song forever rain in a week.

and here we are returned to the starting spot but slightly to the left, like when you've walked thru the museum exhibition and am spat out the exit right where you started, but w the new insights and experiences that the you from an hour ago didnt have. joonie is a masterful curator and this song ouroboroses us right back to listen to this album again. the tongue in cheek of ending w 'no looking back' when im ready to replay this album again like you literally inviting me to replay this album youve made it a point to end like this?????? lmfao kim namjoon who do you take me for hmmm?????

if youve made it to the end here i love you nothing makes sense anymore i only know that i love kim namjoon and that ive had this album on loop and i STILL hear new things in it i have no words for how much respect and awe and love i have for this man. and when he said 'fuck the trendsetters' he really did it. he dabbled in ALL of the most popular sounds and genres you hear in the music industry, pulled it off w aplomb, and moved on. anyways i love kim namjoon.

Do you have any in regards to him keeping Six? Like what are your personal thoughts about that? Did he want her for company or just to kill her orrrrr?

Oooh, I have some thoughts on that! (I’m not much into “Six is Hunter’s daughter” theory, tho it’s fun. So, in my opinion they are completely strangers to each other) I believe, when he caught/found her he was about to kill her, as anyone who’s passing through his forest. But... Something stopped him. She was the first sane human being he met in a long, long time. She wasn’t one of those crazy zombie city people and she didn’t look like one of those naughty kids who play in the wrong places, who may came here esp. to find him and mock him... If you consider my “Hunter was a teacher“ hc, Six also reminded him of those quiet students - his favourite, as he himself was like that - the only ones with whom he was able to find a common ground... It woke up in him a sense of familiarity, resemblance He himself, however, could not accurately recognize the emotion, so he took her, due to his confusion. Only few days after he actually decided to keep her. Six was about to be his pet. An animal he needed to tame and could use. A hunting assistant. Not a child- oh no, he would never- he had no kind feelings towards children after all his unpleasant interactions with them and didn’t know a damn thing how to be a parent, take care for them (or, actually, he knew, but didn't want to get too attached-), it could be beneficial cooperation for them both, as he could take care of a pest like her. Give her a bare necessities, at least. She would get a roof over her head, a home... a place to stay, a food... And he would have an assistant. A helper... A company? He would never admit it, at least out loud, but having Six... shook him up a bit. Took him out of the fog in which his mind was. He tried so hard- he genuinely did! He had to think about what children eat (he could live on meat only, but she was a child! she needed something else to make her bones strong!), what children need- god, he almost forgot everything he knew. I hc that it was him to make Six more warmer clothes (and I hc that girl in VLN was her. until tarsier studios prove me otherwise, I will believe it) and he gave her the music box!  Sadly, he saw no progress in his actions. Enjoying music box or eating the food,  she quit what she did instantly as soon as she heard that he was coming home. When he tried to interact with her she hid, didn’t let him near her and and didn’t make contact at all I believe, to the time of game events, he lost his patience and hope to achieve something and actually wanted to make taxidermy out of her. It was fun, but didn’t worth his efforts. Mono came just in time- but who knows, what would have happened if he didn’t. Perhapd she finally decided to open up and the Hunter, seeing it, would give her more options? More freedom? Maybe one day they could have become a family and live good... But we will never know.

I feel bad I haven’t contributed anything to LN fandom in a while so here’s some random HC of mine.

- Runaway Kid name is just “Kid”, that is his actual name but some kids do find it weird calling the other kid “Kid”, so they try to call him something else. “Runaway Kid” is the name coming up in sort of the mocking manner but Kid doesnt mind and wearing it like a champ. Mono is the one coiling the name “RK” in the version of story they get to meet (Unfortunately most of the time they don’t)

- In my simpler story/joke/meme, RK would fall prey into the simple “wimpy kind kid” characterization. But in the more serious story, RK actually share some characterization with Six and Mono. He is still kind but he’s more of a survivalist and realist too. But his “Kind but also feral” is on the different brand with Mono, in the way that Mono is more likely to kill than RK, RK is more likely to leave someone to die than Mono. Overall, RK is someone one who show and share kindness despite the harsh world but he is not selfless. he is also not violence and would rather run than fight.(he still got the weakass arm stregth too)

-Going to bring up Undertale for a sec, Neither Mono or Six would do the no kill run in the first playthrough lol. Six kills everyone but not actively seeking out enough to trigger genocide and she run from/ doesn’t kill Undyne. Mono accidentally kills froggit and some ruin monsters and Toriel but no one else afterward. (RK might suceed in pacifist Neutral the first time tho) pre-LN1-ending Six is not determined enough to do the genocide run, she would rather run from Sans and Undyne than fight them, and she wouldn’t go through all the trouble to seek out everyone to kill either as she just want to get out and survive. Post LN1 Six, drunken with power, However...

- During their Journey, Six’s actually being decent to Mono and not at all mean or call him names. However, after dropping him, it was then Six decided to dubbed Mono as “Stupid Mono” while dealing with her inner turmoil and guilt and that nickname stick after all is said and done.

- While their feeling is not at all romanctic, even in the friendship light it’s actually more Six --> Mono as oppose to usual fandom intrepretation. As Mono would act the same if it’s any other kid he finds needing rescue and befriend. Six however seem to have this ‘at first sight’ fixation on Mono and Mono only, that weird kid with paperbag who is all sort of weird but in the chaming way and shows her kindness. Six is smitten. Mono then saving and interact with other kid and she has this moment of mildly disappointed “Oh...” that it’s not just her Mono act this way around. (of course Mono still consider Six his bestfriend. and would risk life and limbs for her).

But in the end, Six act the way Six act (close off) and Mono is being super friendly towards Six so in the other kids eyes it is normal to view it as Mono--->Six. But Mono does view Six in the different light from other potential kids he’d come accross after she dropped him and not necessary in the positive way.

- Six is more popular and well-liked by the maw kids than Mono with the LN2 kids

- Six doesn’t experience unatural hunger again after getting Lady’s power. If she’s to maw down or cannibalize someone after that. It’s her usual feral antic driven by pure primal hate and anger rather than hunger.

-Maw arc(pfft) is essentially Six’s “Zuko alone’ arc

- Shadow six, despite being Six’s good side, does need to go through character developement and rude awakening arc lol. She isn’t off the hook. Vice versa, Six, although technically Souless, is not as Souless emotionally. She is still capable of feeling emotion empathy and character growth, she just missing a part of her which rattled her greatly. But if we ignore the terrible hunger acompanying her condition and she’s to go on without getting that part of her back, she can go on and develope into a better person of her own just fine without “her good part”. This is to say that while her missing her soul explain and effect some of her bad decision, it doesn’t make her not to blame for all the bad she did as she’s still capable of making a decision.

-Already mentioned it, but Mono knits and crafts and doing a lot of thing post Tower to make up all the lose activity he want to learns

- RK is fully literated (for kid his age, if the word is too complicate of course he wouldn’t know). Mono can read some but act like he knows everything. Six can’t read english but can read and write more Japanese than Mono read everything.

- Mono is the type who take “a few months old” very seriously remind everyone that he is older.

- Six always sleep curling up and never sleep on her back. Mono sleep mostly normally but he do like to elevate his feet. Usaully result in him putting his leg on his friends in his sleep.

- Six, although feral, is capable of being regal and proper when she need to be. The closest comparison to other existing character from other fandom would be Toph and Rukia(leaning more toward Rukia). If there’s ever a situation where they are to fit in as the well-manner kids, Six, surprisingly would fair better than Mono despite what Mono think(as he mostly only saw her feral side)She’s like the cat, even at the trashiest state there’s still a dignify and vain part, grooming and all. To sum it up, Normally Mono would be the cleaner of the two (clean hand, Goine EW and reprimmed Six whenever Six got too feral) but when put into a certain situation Six can fit in better while Mono street kids side start to show and he becomes out of depth.

- None of the kids voice has crack yet.

Six in little nightmares shouldn't be shipped with anyone.

For the first and least supported reason: Six is cold. Yes in the events of LN2 she probably did have emotions they were most likely lost after the events of the signal tower and the maw. She wouldn't love anyone.

Reason 2 (a personal opinion and pet pieve): they are kids, yes they are all within the same age range, i never liked the idea of shipping kids. (Atleast it isnt as bad as pedo ships tho😓)

Reason 3 (now we are getting more spacific): with the Mono x Six ship, to me it always felt like a sibling bond, an older brother protecting his little sister. Also she dropped him in his greatest hour of need sooooo-

Reason 4: Now to tackle Runaway x Six, not ONCE did they cross paths in the game other than the gnome scene and even then she had no idea it was him. Despite populer opinion, the kid who gives Six bread at the beginning of the game is not Runaway, RK was deap in the depths by the time Six got there. Also, there is a very slim chance they met before the events of the game, so there is almost no chance they would fall in love or have a relationship in the first place.

Reason 5: refering back to this post that i made a few days ago, if Mono did escape the tower, he would hate Six, there is little chance of patching up that wound. Aswell as if RK did come back to life, he would be absalutly terrified of Six, most likely also hating her.

Now.. TO LIST THE REASONS SHE COULD BE SHIPPED! (I do enjoy a bit of ship art once and a while, dont judge me)

Reason 1: Mono and Six did have a great bond, and if she didn't drop him it could have become more. Hell, there could have been a good reason for her dropping him. I saw a theory once that said maybe she saw that Mono was the thin man, and she thought that by dropping him she could save him from that fate, unknowingly dooming him to it instead and that idea has stuck with me.

Reason 2: ok, Thin Mono and lady Six could work. They are rational adults, they already knew eachother prior to everything, and they could be like an old married couple and i find that funny.

Notice that i did not mention Runaway in earher of thoughs reasons. Thats cuz i couldn't find a single reason that they would be together, i traveled to the signal tower and back and couldn't find a single reason.

17 "What was your first muse?"

I guess other than warrior cats and one other oc that werent necessarily mused, it'd be Dipper Pines (regular and most of his aus). I ended up really deep in the Gravity Falls Amino and I ended up in many of the rps defaulting to him for other friends and rpers til I became known for it to an extent gjfjdk. I did a couple other GF charcaters but mainly him in my friend groups.

19 "Do you have ship bias?"

I'll be honest I have no clue what this means. :v If its about writing a ship with someone and their muse, it mostly depends on chemestty and if I know the mun at least a little and if its fun to write. (Ex, I haven't written any real Monix even tho its cute despite having Fox talk to a few Monos here and discord, but have written thinlady with @/gecsha and already otp'd it. I also liked Sevix but wanted SK to want nothing to do with Six in even a friendly regard, but me and @/raincoatnightmare became friends when we were writing and it was funny and cute plus added further character into SK that I like (also now lordlady supremacy ty ty). Or in another fandom, the only character I've written with a canon relationship (or semi-canon? ig its vague?) was Hero from Omori and even then it seems weird to jump into a ship with someone I havent spoken to so it would probably be more prominent with an rper I've talked to before even if its still there with strangers)

Tbh Ive (embarrassedly and probably poorly) written it with one other person before in a certain circumstance I don't wanna get into here that ended not-so-well but I'm too nervous to write that kinda thing with others unless we were really comfortable writing that in private. It would always have to be shipping and he's only really shipped with one muse and you already admitted to asking this so I hope youre happy embarrassing me now hfksfkjfkd (also off like you said only adults like SL)

It never starts that way and yet so often ends up like that fhsksl. For SL he's already in a cute poly ship in a verse so I'll say yes to that. Lady Fox hasn't really been written into anything at all yet and I haven't even considered any ship even my beloved thinlady for her so we'll see gjjdls. For puppy ships with the kids again idk

29 "What are your thoughts on your muses' canon?"

Sweats in divergent characters Well Six is really cool and honestly a fun character to watch go through things, I really like her and her clever survival skills even if she's not the most kind in some situations cough cough. I could write a whole essay on why I love her little differences between the other characters in idle animations, cutscene reactions, and her ai actions in LN2. And seeing her in both comic series + those LN2 cutscenes/ai, I like how despite it all its obvious just still just a kid who also enjoys time with others.

RK is honestly my favorite of the protags, little dude is hard (to the) core. I still hate the canon ending 💔 /hj. His specific idle animations we get to see are also interesting in the fact thet theyre a little different from Six's (the only 2 kids at the time). Seeing his interactions with the Nomes (Hideaway), Six (cancelled comic), and reaction to the Flashlight Girl (Depths), it's also neat to see his little personality shine through. I got the feeling he was almost hesitant to escape but went through anyway, and saw it to the end (even if it was his own end) and with all the stepping on coal and glass, hitting every obstacle in the way and still standing up straight, and being resourceful of those around him, and I can respect him. Also he's the only one who's had a chapter I would be too scared to go through if I had the LN mindset so good on him 💔.

36. "Do you feel similar to your muse in any way?"

With Fox I really feel that casual but anxious at any time feeling, and already projected a lot of my anxieties about memory loss onto her. I also just like foxes. (Ive only spent money on game cosmetics 3 times and one was the LN1 fox mask, another was yesterday $10 on an almost useless fox plush on Sky: CotL fhdjsk but hey whats important is invisible to the eyes).

With SK I can feel the "listens to an echo chamber for emotions" sometimes, and holding onto things stubbornly. It's quite easy to write him as I don't like admitting certain things either and deny deny deny, but that makes SL a little harder to make him romance fbdksk.

With SL I do really feel that overprotectiveness and envy in some things, he might be waaay exaggerated ofc but it's there. Im also a big self blamer.

37 "Do you feel different from your muse in any way?"

With Fox I'm much more social, I do like hugs and physical touchs and talking even oversharing cough just look at this whole post whereas she'd very reserved and quiet about her feelings 99% of the time.

With SK I can't really find it in me to hold a grudge that well. I can think back and get annoyed that some teacher or other kid or family member did some bad thing to me in the past, or say "so-and-so hurt me yesterday", but I can't hold it as just hate for long and see it differently. There's very few people I'm having trouble forgiving and forgetting, and they'll never be allowed near my family if I can help it.

With SL I can't say I'm in a good position if I'm in charge. I can be a good right hand or lower ranking moniter/manager, but being the head is too much pressure and depressing. He seems to be doing just fine both on his own and with his wife and/or husband.

38 "What's the best inspiration for your muse?"

Mostly jokes and random ideas with my friends! Some of the best plots I've had personally were turning a romance/ship joke into angst for pain, or angst into romance as hurt/comfort. Ofc music also helps but this is the best!

Character Stuff pt. 4: Story Updates and New Refs

Heyya! So I FINALLY got the new story pic done, i decided that im gonna make the backstory and rest of the LF (Little Fantasies) story is gonna be a comic. I’ll just write certain scenes out for fun when I feel like it ;3

I need to finish the writing part of the mini stories. Which are basically written versions of certain scenes I’ve done. Then I can start the comic ^^ Depending on how I do it. I may just take a single blog post I did with the comic and Reblog it to add more onto it.

Anyways I did something not pony related, REF wise.

I loved the weird aesthetic the original comics gave, with the style of the lips. So I stuck with that for Six’s design, idk if necessarily fits mono but idk just yet.

But I’ll update later on their personalities since I need my sleep and need to process just how they act since my brain has been all over ponies lately XD

So I have the time to think, I have personalities and how the will function.

Six:

-very quiet but loves to hum with Cryssie and will laugh if she has the time to find something funny. She is still a kid after all.

-Always on edge usually. Very protective because of this.

-Likes to be on high place (like a rat would), especially on Crystabelles back or head.

-HATES veggies with a burning passion. But, she will settle if that’s what is given to her.

-Tends to solve puzzles on her own time.

-Loves climbing stuff and messing with locks. (She likes the sound of clicking).

-Will ABSOLUTELY bite you if you fxck with her in a way she doesn’t like.

-A bit hard to read at first but once you spend time with her you can learn what bothers her and what doesn’t

-Loves music boxes and is always trying to make one.

-Has a thing for fire.

-Eyes are yellow, almost golden color.

-Very messy eater and has equally messy hair. That’s what wearin a hood tends to do to a girl.

-Likes coloring.

Mono:

-A little shy but he’s very brave and willing to do anything to ensure someone's safety.

-A mama’s little helper type of boy.

-Tends to tug for attention.

-Holds hands (or hooves) when he’s scared. But, he hides it well.

-He will usually always speed ahead and take the lead (because he knows places well even with out knowing where they are going). He will just follow and run ahead suddenly.

-Loves his hats.

-Has a surprisingly almost photographic memory.

-Is very blind sided and tends to miss certain traps.

-He has a weird fondness for wrestling and will often do it with Six when they are spending time together in a safe area (She’s usually in a good enough mood to do that with him, if not she will put him in his place ;3)

-Lightly snores when hes in a deep sleep.

-Eyes are black but his pupils are a deep blue color, you can see where he is looking unlike Crystabelle.

-When using his techno-kinesis his eyes have a static shine in the pupils.

-Sometimes cuts his own hair.

I will most certainly do refs (or at least sketches) for the comic kids (the new ones) and seven eventually.

BDaMan’s Show Log: WFNU Presents: Sprung! (3/22-3/24)

*The following events take place between March 22nd, 2019 and March 24th, 2019.* Friday 11:09pm - So, I feel great about the fact that B.Allen and I have four shows coming up. However, I found out some news the other day that is definitely having me worried. Thursday, B.Allen told me he wasn't feeling well and I usually know to keep on high alert about his health after past events in 2016. Later on in the day, he told me he went to urgent care and got told that it's the flu and had a fever of 103.2. As of this moment, the last update I got from him was, "Off and on sleep all day today feel like death finally saying this is it for me" Now, for those who know B.Allen as I do, you may find some humor in that. Those who don't or who don't find any humor in that, might be very concerned. If he didn't have the flu and said that, I might find it funny and tell him he'd be alright. However, the flu ain't no joke. So, unless he makes a miraculous miracle by the time I get up in the morning, it looks like I'm rocking this show solo. Saturday 3:16am - Unless a miracle happens, I'm going with the assumption that I'm performing solo tomorrow (later today, depending how you look at it). This will be the third time in a decade that I've performed a full set completely solo (two, if you exclude the set I did with Gazda back at Nomad in 2017). "Introspective Journals" is about 20 minutes, so that'll be the set list for the show, if I'm going at it solo. Gonna enjoy this tea and call it a night. 10:10am - Alarm goes off, so I know it's time to get moving. Gonna start my day how I ended yesterday, with some tea. 10:29am - I text B.Allen to see how he's doing and the update I got was, "sore and super hot but super cold at the same time at least able to drink water and hold it down tho". So, sounds somewhat better, but definitely not in shape to perform a set. It's 99.9% official - I'm rocking tonight's show solo. 12:04pm - Doing some minor run through of songs to make sure I've still got this "Introspective Journals" stuff memorized. 12:56pm - Double checked with Jeff to see if he was still coming to the show, looks like we're all good there. The homie, Jayce Serene might come through to the show tonight. He works at 5:30am though, so it might be tough for him to make it. 1:52pm - Finally getting some lunch in my system. Slowly starting to get my focus right for tonight. 2:40pm - Beats for tonight's show are on my flash drive, as well as emailed to SunDogs. While I can, I am going to get a nap in for a couple of hours. No telling what's denied holds, but I want to be sure I enjoy every moment of it and out of my head. 5:15pm - That nap was definitely needed. Time to get moving and get into that zone.6pm - I definitely take blame for the miscommunication on asking Jeff to pick me up haha. The whole "solo set" threw me off. Nonetheless, looks like he'll be here at about 6:45 and we'll be hauling ass to St. Paul. Time to get ready and listen to Smoke DZA's Ringside series. 7:11pm - So, based on how Jeff peeled around that corner down the street earlier, I can tell we're gonna be in a bit of a pinch to get to Hat Trick Lounge on time. Jeff just passed me his phone to play something off of Spotify. Choice of music? DMX! 7:45pm - We've arrived! It's a unique vibe in here tonight. It is now time to make that slow metamorphosis. Shortly after we got settled in there, Jeff and I hear the exact DMX song we heard in the car. (”24 Hrs To Live”) 8:25pm - I send B.Allen a picture of the stage and tell him it might be a blessing in disguise that he has the flu with the stage being a bit small, especially with the band's equipment up there. His reply was, "Lol good way to think of it , I'm mad I can't be out there with you bro kill it bring that energy man". Even with the moments that we can't always make an S.O.S. performance happen, he at least throws some good luck energy my way. That definitely will help going into the night. I decide to get some fresh air with Jeff and practice my set a bit. Mic stepped out to smoke real quick as I was practicing. Just as I started practicing "Ain't No Big Thing", I hear someone yell out "BDa!". Now, in St. Paul, I didn't expect to hear that. But, shortly, I'd see who exactly yelled my name from a car... 8:38pm - It was none other than MonoPoleJoe! Reidy, Tu'shawn and Mono have arrived! Mic comes back out shortly after and the six of us chat for a good minute about local music and other stuff. 9:05pm - Ron Wolf & The Smokin' Barrels are up now. A little blues action to start the night! 9:16pm - I get a good luck text from my girlfriend, Nikki and she gives me some extra hype within her good luck wishes. I let her know that I do feel good about my set, but I'm worried about people sticking around that late. 9:44pm - My buddy from the Sound Arts program, Teontre sends me a good luck text as well, as he won't be able to make it tonight, as he has an early morning gig himself. He is in a band called Papa Bleu & The Fistbump Congress, a 5-piece band that infuse world music, pop, hip hop, and rock. (https://youtu.be/ObvVnGgtENk) 10:09pm - Big Into is setting up now. Just got a text from the homie, Jayce Serene that he'd try to make it out tonight. 10:30pm - So, SunDogs definitely wasn't playing about having those earbuds ready! Big Into are killing it, but it done got loud as hell now. 10:55pm - Aaron Avis is up now. I'm digging his blend of rap with the guitar and metal feel. I have much appreciation to those who bend and break norms in music and this dude does just that. 11:47pm - J-Sully just killed it. The show is pretty damn behind, though. The crowd is a mixture of heading out early or trying to hold on and stick around. Mono, Reidy and Tu'Shawn headed out. 11:56pm - Ain't No Jok is up now! And the homie, Jayce just came through! Ain't No Jok got some cuts!! Sunday 12:51am - Chase Vibe is up now. Looks like the final 3 of us can only do like 3 songs. The next 7-10 minutes zoomed by like a double eviction night of Big Brother! -Spencer (Munny of SunDogs) lets me know that I only have to cut one song, since my set was at 16 minutes. -Jeff misheard me when I asked what song to cut, which was a funny experience within itself. -My coworker from Target Center, Kristen, who was there with Mic’s girlfriend, apparently knows Mic's girlfriend, so she actually got to see me perform. She, of course, gave me shit for not being at work much. With school and the main job (Fieldwork) in the mix, I stick to working my minimum of two events a month at Target Center. Everything moved so fast in that time span, I had just enough time to shake off my nerves, put my eyeglasses in my bag and put on Grandpa's aviators and do the damn thing! 1:15am - Just got off stage and damn! Aside from the breath control, I didn't lose my voice that much and I held my own on stage! My attempt at crowd participation wasn’t as strong as it normally was, but I gave the few people there a pass, as it was so late. In the words of a famous group, it was “one more for the cool guys!” I always pride myself in making the most out of performing for a small amount of people by performing as if there were hundreds of people there. 1:19am - The homie, MICdos is up now, closing out the night! For those that don't know, I've known Mic since about Sophomore year of high school. Cool ass dude, nothing but positive vibes anytime he's around. I'm glad that he's getting some well deserved shine in the music realm as well. 1:50am - That wraps up the show for the night! As Mic, Jeff and I step outside, Mic just bursts out into impromptu singing of songs. With the voice I had left, I jumped in on the songs and parts I knew. If I came out of retirement from singing, Mic and I might be able to pull off a little somethin-somethin! 2:20am - I ain't never seen this man, Jeff want to get out of dodge (St.Paul) as much as I did in this moment! Once we managed to get past the slow cars on the St. Paul streets past the clubs, it was nothing but smooth sailin' on the back roads back to the humble abode. 3:03am - Getting a very, very late dinner in and realizing just how sore my body is gonna be in the morning...

2016 in Review

I’ve done these stupid surveys every year for the past ten years and I don’t care if LJ is dead, I’m gonna keep doing them.

The writing one is still in progress because it involves a lot of linking and thoughtful responses. Below are Fandom in 2016 and Life in 2016, mostly for my own records.

Fandom 2016

1. Your main fandom of the year?

Oh god, this has a different answer for the first time in five years, but definitely Hamilton? Up until SM, the only fannish words I wrote this year were Hamilton, most of the shit I reblogged on Tumblr was Hamilton...jesus, it’s like 2004 up in this joint.

2. Your favorite film watched this year? This is really difficult. Um, probably Ghostbusters because it blew me away and was totally unexpected as a favorite. I knew I’d probably like it, but not necessarily six-times-in-theatres level of liking.

Runners up are The Conjuring 2, which would have won without Ghostbusters, and Moana, which I found surprisingly moving and would probably see six more times without getting bored.

3. Your favorite book read this year? I’m gonna say Shadowshaper by Daniel José Older, which is an amazing modern urban fantasy set in Brooklyn about an afro-latina teenager who discovers she’s part of an old spiritual order that can channel spirits into art. IT’S SO GOOD? But I will say that The Diviners by Libba Bray and the Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo were neck and neck with it right up until I made my final list for our WBS year-end episode. The best middle grade book I read was George by Alex Gino.

4. Your favorite album or song to listen to this year? I honestly am not sure that I listened to any “new” albums outside of The Hamilton Mixtape this year? I spent the start of the year listening to Hamilton and Great Comet non-stop, then listened to every Dar song in order and all of the 69 Love Songs in order for a couple months...but yeah, the only ~*~new~*~ thing I can think of is The Hamilton Mixtape.

5. Your favorite TV show of the year? Prooooobably Brooklyn Nine-Nine? Or maybe the end of Gravity Falls. 

6. Your favorite online fandom community of the year? idk. To be honest, I still don’t quite ~*~get~*~ tumblr (tho I had some nice conversations via the chat function, despite my general awkwardness as a human), LJ is dead, and while I connect with fandom friends and talk about fandom on Twitter, I don’t do that as much as I whine about my life. I guess AO3 has been great via comments received, but that also feels one-sided, as chatty cathy as I sometimes get when responding to people’s comments. Most of my fandom conversations this year have PROBABLY been over text? 

7. Your best new fandom discovery of the year? I’m trying to think if there was anything new I was super into? Maybe Six of Crows, which I talked about a lot and read a couple fics for?

8. Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year? X-Men: Apocalypse, for sure. Man, after DoFP, I had SUCH HIGH HOPES for XMA, which was totally my own fault. Every time someone made a comment about how weird something looked or how dumb something sounded I rolled my eyes, because they had done the exact same thing for DoFP, which was AMAZING. But, uh...this time they were all right. The more I thought about the movie, the more it fell apart for me. 

9. Your TV boyfriend of the year? Strictly teevee,  probably...idk, Luke Cage?

10. Your TV girlfriend of the year? I don’t watch SNL regularly, but can I cheat and say Kate McKinnon?

11. Your biggest squee moment of the year? Seeing Hamilton. Seeing Great Comet. Ghostbusters. 

12. The most missed of your old fandoms? I really missed the joy I got from DoFP when I was watching XMA :(

13. The fandom you haven’t tried yet, but want to? I’m p mono-fannish, so I’m good for now.

14. Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year? Going to Chicago in May! Heroes! DragonCon! WBS liveshow! Maybe other things! I don’t know, I haven’t planned that much of the year yet!

General 2016

What did you do in 2016 that you'd never done before? Voted for a woman for President. Went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Um...probably other stuff too? Gosh, I don’t know, I’m so boring.

Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

+ Make a writing schedule and stick to it Did not do this. Like, at all. I got maybe a week on schedule over the course of the whole year /o\

+ Go on more dates Yes! I did do this! None of them really went anywhere, but I went on a whole bunch!

+ Get into the cooking habit and stay there Ish? I got better about making lunches for the week, but I wasn’t super consistent with it. Another thing to try in 2017.

+ Read more I did do this! Sort of! I didn’t keep super good track of it and I was mostly trying to read more adult books and I failed MISERABLY at that.

Did anyone close to you give birth? Joni had a baby! It was so weird! One of us grew a tiny human! He’s ADORABLE.

What would you like to have in 2017 that you lacked in 2016? I'd like to feel more on top of things. I'd like more organization in my life. I'd like more sleep. I'd like a girlfriend.

What was your biggest achievement of the year? Finishing the goddamn ghosthunters fic, HOW DID THAT EVEN HAPPEN?

What was your biggest failure? idk what my biggest PERSONAL failure was, but I certainly know what my biggest failure as an American was :\

Did you suffer illness or injury? Brain stuff, some colds, and I broke my foot.

What was the best thing you bought? Great Comet tickets, plane tickets to visit various people. My dumb Silhouette machine that I love. Tiny John Laurens and The Washingtonians, both of which are within my sightline. This fuzzy blanket.

Whose behavior merited celebration? My friends. A lot of excellent activists.

Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? The American people as a whole and everything associated with our clusterfuck election outcome.

Where did most of your money go? Grown-up type stuff (rent, utilities, groceries), cons, and travel.

What did you get really, really, really excited about? HeroesCon, DragonCon, Hamilton, Hadestown, Great Comet, The Conjuring 2, finishing the ghosthunters.

What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 31! The weekend before, me and @pearlo​ and @cygnaut​ and @littledust​ saw XMA a couple times! And Laura and Erica and I went to the Gardner and then I had a party and people mostly hung out and played Drawful and drank a lot of champagne. On my actual birthday, @ginthusiastic​ and I just went out for dinner after work and I had a drink that was the same color as my dress.

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? A different election outcome. Literally anything. A box turtle could be our president and I’d be happy.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2016? Retro-y dresses.

I just recently got into Little Nightmares (and into its great fandom, like, you people are all so talented????? It inspires me a lot) thanks to the lockdown: I had more free time to explore my interests and get to know myself better. I wasn't honestly a huge fan of horror games: my soul leaves my body at every jumpscare and gore isn't really my thing.

But Little Nightmares. How can I say it. It just left me speechless: the graphics, the visuals, the cryptic story and lore, the twists and the betrayals. It pressed my theorist button once again. I fell in love with it because of the silent, eery, solemn narrative. Its world was a deep, dark and mysterious place: it felt wrong, it wasn't ment to be like that, but at the same time it felt eternal, unforgiving and not willing to change. In its chaos it found its balance, somehow.

And the charatchers (AND. THEIR. DESIGNS. HOLY- ) I don't know, they are just beautiful. Mono is a so sad charatcher, pure of heart, but chained to a neverending nightmare of a destiny. Six is so controversial. In both games they make you feel like they are the hero, just to leave you with many, many questions after the endings. I'm not saying that they are the bad guy, but... eh. I would just love to see all of the childrens live toghether an happy life. (CAN I ADOPT THEM?????)

Well haha I actually created two ones that I'm actually proud of (the others are just... still in development stage): they are Twelve and Eighteen (I hope their names don't sound too silly)

Here's Twelve! I love her.

She was born in the Pale City when not everyone was corrupted yet. She had a terrible desease when she was just born, that made her loose her hearing. She lived with her single mother, who was sweet and caring, but one day, she tried to kill her: she was starting to lose her sanity because of the transmission, slowly becoming a Viewer.

Twelve's mother begged her to leave the house, in a desperate attempt of saving her. 

After months of solitude, Twelve finally finds a safe place to live, an empty attic near the shore. It will become her "headquarter": her objective is infact to find an save as many other childrens as she can (probably because of her strong sense of justice and to fill the void her mother left in her heart)

On day she finds an old, but still working television, she activates it by mistake and... it tunes directly into the signal tower. She so meets a devasted Mono, alone after the accident. They are firstly surprised (or scared in Twelve's case: she doesn't know who Mono is or what he will become, he doesn't too tho), but then they try to communicate (with paper and pencils) and soon become friends.

They try almost every day to get Mono out of the TV but poorly fail every time.

It is in that time that Twelve meets Eighteen, in one of her "trips" to the school. They become best friends.

(Sorry if her anatomy is messed up it's old and I was still trying to figure out how to draw childrens haha)

[Two words about Eighteen: we don't know mutch about her. She is very shy but protective. She is the one with braincells between her and Twelve. She hates conflicts and try every time to calm down everyone. It seems like she doesn't need her eyes very mutch, she must have some sort of connection with the Eyes inside the Signal Tower. But nothing is said...]

After almost a year of connection with Mono,Twelve starts getting terrible headaches. She doesn't know why yet.

The transmission has finally driven Mono almost insane. He isn't the same anymore. He is always lost in its thoughts and his work as the Broadcaster is stressing him too mutch. The Eye doesn't let him sleep. Until It decides that he is ready to exit his dark room.

Twelve is there for him.They hug in joy, but, suddenly, Twelve gets consumed in glitches. In fear, looks up at him and realises. She is now only but a glitching remain.

Mono is shocked, he realised too late of what he had done: he was now everithing he hated and sweared to never become.

No one ever heard of Eighteen again. She wasn't the type to mourn a loss for too mutch. Nothing lasts forever, after all.

i really dont feel like lineing these two so here they are

sorta representations of the two biggest badest entities that made the LN world the way it is, The Hunger and The Signal

headcanon chatter below

so i headcanon that these two are the biggest strongest entities so they have the most sway over people's minds and can even push smaller Entites out of peoples minds (Signal did this to The Generator when the TVs washed up on The Harbor's shore) neither is strong enough to overpower the other tho so they have a sort of truce

an example of a smaller Entity would be The North Wind, and each entity kinda follows its own set of rules, usually self imposed to keep things interesting, i think The North Wind followed that kid (The Refugee Boy) around so much partially because it wasnt able to keep a hold of peoples minds so it ruined this kid's life to keep itself entertained

Most Entities tend to focus on a single Child and kinda Fixate on them, nobody really knows why, but they do, The Hunger Focused on Six, The Signal: Mono, The North Wind fixated on The Refugee Boy, and (these are OCs) The Generator to Crackle (tho their relationship is rather unique as far as Entities and their children go)
