Kim- I thought Kim deserved the number one spot because I love her and I think she doesn't get enough smoke from the fandom. Kim refused to communicate anything ever. She would rather gaslight Wan, try to make her jealous or try to nudge her in the right direction while shooting her longing glances. She did everything but talk to her. Instead she put everything on Wan which was not fair. Even when Pam told her straight up "hey you need to tell Wan how you feel, don't wait on her" she didn't yet somehow it's all Wan's fault they took years to get together? Also all the gaslighting? You cant convince me she didn't remember what happened that night at Mon's bar. I still half believe she gaslight Wan about that beach hookup. They at least kissed.

Wan- Aka known as my favorite lesbian mess. She tried to kill someone in the first episode. That's barely an exaggeration. She was extremely possessive it was concerning at some points. Also her trying to mess with Kim's job was a choice on the writer's end. She is probably the most toxic gl lead we have to date and half of it is due to her being an idiot with zero situational awareness. Glad they mellowed her out. She's such a goofball now it's hard to remember how much of a menace she was for a hot minute.

Earn- Probably my favorite gl lead to date. She's a complete puppy but you can never convince me she's a green flag. Trying to kill yourself to get your exes attention is a textbook manipulation tactic. She was dead wrong for that but I will defend her. Also she broke up with lada in the worst way possible. She truly did not need to say half the things she did. I chalk that up to her being an idiot.

What Andrea said left him having tears down his face. This beach realized what he did and probably hating himself for it right now, but now he knows what he did, because he understood what she was saying. He knows that it sucks, having to change, and now he realizes that he was changing Paisley.

Honestly, Olly going up onto the stage and seemingly canceling Paisley's performance because she didn't want to, was really big of him if you think about it. He built all that, with the slightly forced help of Paisley. He was accepted into society, and he was about to let everyone down, everyone in Heartlake, just for the sake of making it up to Paisley, and after he was so obsessed with the fame, I think this is really big of him.

He should definitely give a direct apology though. I'm actually writing a fic about it now. I feel like after Andera left, he properly apologized. The setting feels right and everything.

Paisley was amazing in this episode, can I just say? We all know it fr. She was a QUEEN for what she did. Especially at the ending; tbh it was a bit weird when Paisley came out to perform, but this time she did it for herself, not Olly.

In a way, as much as Olly hurt Paisley, he also helped her become who she really is. Paisley also helped Olly realize that he needs to focus on others needs too, before it got worse.

Pokemon Horizons is so GOOOOOD- I just now finished Ep20 and loved it!

Anyways time for a whole essay on why I love this show already

I've grown up watching Ash and the Pokemon anime and I've rewatched some Pokemon animes many times (I've watched DPPT, XY, and Sun/Moon upwards of 5 times each I'd say!) and am so attached to it.. but I really think Horizons is like. The best thing to ever happen to the Pokemon anime. It is just a great SHOW in general and I love it's characters and original stories and ideas but also the way it shows the world of Pokemon it is SO GOOD

Anyways some thoughts on the recent episodes I watched (AND I GOTTA SPEED UP CUZ PART 3 JUST CAME OUT OH MY)

-The entire arc with Dot exiting the ship to help find Liko with Iono helping was so wonderful! Liko, Roy, and Dot all battling together against Spinel, but also Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly all being together was just SO GOOOOOD ITS SO GOOD THESE EPISODES WERE AMAZING!! The first part we were introduced to Liko, Roy, and occasionally Dot from her room, and saw them all grow as characters in this adventure, and HZ015 and HZ016 really felt like a defining moment of Horizons as the three team up together I LOVE IT

-HZ018 was really amazing! I loved getting a look into Friede's past and this episode made me care so much more about Pikachu and Charizard as Pokemon species and characters! Friede is really wonderful!

-HZ019 was super charming but also fun to me bcuz I made a joke to myself about "wow we learn something new about friedes past every episode, i cant wait to randomly learn hes been divorced or something". The shock I felt when I learned MURDOCK WAS THE ONE WITH A DIVORCE

-Also between HZ019 and HZ020 I really appreciate the attention given to Galar. I'm not a huge fan of SWSH (even though Legends Arceus and SV are some of my favorite games) but Journeys robbed it so much of proper anime time, I'm really glad Horizons is picking that up

ALSO HZ020'S LITWICKS WERE SO CUTE I LOVE LITWICK SO MUCH AWWWW

My three favorite unevolved Pokemon are Litwick, Sprigatito, and Hatenna! So like.. Sprigatito as the main Pokemon, Litwicks all over HZ020, AND THE NEXT EPISODE IS CALLED "THE LONELY HATENNA" THANK U HORIZONS

I love the Rising Volt Tacklers so much. I love the airship and how we have a cozy hub area that goes across the regions- and I love how they actually show the adventure by having training or other type episodes while the Brave Olivine is on its way to a new area. The Brave Olivine gives me that same kinda comfort that say, Beach House from Steven Universe gives me and I love that

Also back on the Rising Volt Tacklers but WOW what a great cast of characters! I really appreciate when an animated show has adult characters, as I feel it opens up a lot more connection for older audiences (shout out to The Owl House and Gravity Falls for wonderful characters like Eda and Stan!). Friede is a delight, Mollie is absolutely wonderful and I love her, Murdock is so sweet, Orla is amazing, and Ludlow sure is fishing and I love him for that

Liko, Roy, and Dot also are just amazing characters! Liko is a fantastic protagonist and I honestly would say I prefer her over Ash! I find her character really amazingly written and relatable in a lot of ways! Like being socially awkward and trying to find her dream and purpose, or even smaller traits like "avoiding putting too much on her sandwich so everyone can have ingredients" LIKE YEA ME TOO I FEEL THAT LIKO 😭

I also think they fantastically handle the Pokemon variety. Journeys was "90% Kanto 10% other stuff" which really hurt the idea of all the regions together.. but Horizons KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK. The Paldea starters are the main face, our adventure is in Paldea quite often, but the airship has other gens of Pokemon from Noctowl to Metagross to Rockruff to Alcremie, and we see Pokemon like Beheeyem and Oshawott in other episodes. The variety is PERFECT to where Paldea is clearly the focus but the other regions still have a role in the anime and its so GOOD

The variety is so well done, I love Pikachu and Charizard here! I would usually be a bit bored of these two, but the variety and focus on Paldea is so amazing that these two are wonderful additions! CAPTAIN PIKACHU IS AWESOME!!!

And the story is so interesting too! Searching for the ancient adventurers Pokemon and whatever secrets Terapagos may be holding. I already resonate so much with the characters I'm so excited for their adventures! I love the Explorers too! I love Team Rocket, but I think that they can often be repetitive and mess with the flow of the show, often cutting episodes short or ruining interesting episode concepts. With a new enemy, the episodes feel a lot more COMPLETE and fluidly flowing into one another, and it's such a nice refreshing change of pace!!!

This show really is just... wonderful!

I geniunely think that even only 20 episodes in this might be my favorite Pokemon anime. I've been so slow watching it because I actually wanna just sit down and properly focus on every episode (which is hard for me but this show deserves that much attention!)

I love this, and I'm so excited to watch more!

I want to rant about so much, everything and nothing about the heart wrenching second episode which shed light on so many new dynamics and prospects. But im too numb with grief for little Jahaerys (srsly, otto, he is a great PR strategist no doubt but still- using a dead child to spread propaganda, not even thinking (or pretending to think at the very least) to consider how stifled Aegon and Hel will feel about it, fucking bitch i swear, now mf on his way to poison Daeron) to go to lengths about anything.

But i will say this, so many people were commenting after the trailer drop how Rhaenyra, grown and a ruler still needs to ask for Daemon's validation,the grooming running thick and all that. But i had said this here to those that it may have been after B&C and daemon having fucked up big time, it is within rights of Rhaenyra to question and mistrust Daemon after that. And i was right. ''A mistake'' he says. ''A mistake which was the insecure part of a Jenga tower; pulled out and the entire tower of Greens and Blacks crumbled.

I will also say this, idk bout yall but im loving Alyn and Addam so far. Their dynamics, their personalities so far is very much intriguing to me. Cant wait to see them in later eps. Also that scene with Addam when Seasmoke flew over the beach above him? The way Seasmoke was singing? Addam's wondrous look? That was beautiful. You dont just go and claim a dragon like from a pet shop. There is a string of fate, like the ones between soulmates between dragon and a rider. It was marvellous to me actually to see Seasmoke and Addam stepping the first inkling of a bond forming.

Felix is getting picked up and hauled off by Changbin, who's cackling like a little gremlin and running around with Lix over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Jeongin and Minho are throwing Hyunjin into the water after Hyunjin REPEATEDLY has said he just wants to build a sandcastle and be left tf alone.

I'm sitting by mine and Hyunjin's unfinished sandcastle as he's carried away kicking and screaming, as Jisung comes up and tries to rizz me up by flexing his muscles and jokingly asking if im single (we've been dating for like seven months lmfao), but he can't keep a straight face and neither can i, and we both just end up laughing. he eventually gives up and plops down beside me to help build the moat for the sandcastle. Hyunjin trudges back to us, soaked and looking pissed, as Jeongin and Minho laugh hysterically behind him.

once the sun sets, we hang out for a little while longer before we head back to our hotel, grabbing ice cream on the way. we stay up half the night just talking <3

dennis takes a mental health day his relationship towards the gang from his very own perspective it’s not skewed to be presented infront or people it’s just real and raw we can talk ab the macden/charden of it all ALL DAY but. let’s look at his sister. who has spent her whole life looking after him (or at least trying her very best to). dee being the one who suggested (? i cant remember off the top of my head if this was just my own hc or not lol) bringing mental health days into the bar. always always being so supportive of dennis taking a day off for himself, explaining to the rest of the gang what it was and how he’s entitled to it, no big deal. offering to drive him to the beach. wanting to hang out w him (which is SO ‘siblings’ of her so TWINS of her - trying to look after him not realising she may have been stepping on his toes). the other big characterisation of dennis reynolds episode we’ve had, tends bar, splitting the gang into his friends and his family, dee’s i can’t get a read on him these days!!!! everyone glosses over it because of the rpg of it all but tends bar is a Dennis episode. dee can’t reach him anymore she can’t look after him and monitor him anymore. those walls have been heightened with security (obviously with a mac shaped hole round the back). the gang broke dee the rest of the gang Couldn’t let dennis in on the joke because he would be too emotional about it he was Too emotionally involved. he loves his sister !!!! recognising that all her life she’s looked after him and his many traumas. can’t he look after her for once. goes to hell deciding to drown mirroring the i love you sis scenes. he gets to be emotional and vulnerable with the one person who has always Known him and will love him no matter how horrible he gets, it’s such a pure innocent natural love he’s finally allowing himself to express. and dee gets to push him away! it’s so good and emotionally fulfilling for both of them. dees spent her whole life waiting for people for her family to just Like her, she gets to push dennis’ love away she doesn’t Need it like she thought she did. she’s strong on her own. i keep rambling but. i love the twins !! it’s such a subtle stupid relationship but making them twins impacted the gangs dynamic as a Whole and i love seeing it actually explicitly explored in the show. cleaning up his wounds in the back of the shot. destroying his stuffed elephant. spreading her diary. remembering every horrible highschool nickname. hating eachother but not being able to live without eachother. it’s such a different relationship than the rest of the gang because they’re siblings like the rest of the gang ‘could’ leave they could have left at any point there could be a universe where they never meet where they never become friends but. dennis and dee are stuck as twins forever !! SUNNY IS A LOVE STORY !!!! love in all it’s stupid forms !
