The gifs: There is a story to this. The first week I came to Tumblr, It was my first time on this site and the first time I share anything. As soon as the person told me I did IMMEDIATELY and apologized againa and again and told them to tell the original gif maker to deblock me as I want to apologize directly and that they can block me after that. They did and I apologized but they just kept insulting me. Of course it was MY mistake and that’s why I apologized. But for them. for a mere gif (yes I say a mere gif because I made so many gifs and they were used on all platforms but I never thought it was necessary to hate that much on someone like they did to me). That blog was big and had big blog mutuals. Thanks to that, I became someone you do NOT become mutuals with but block and never reblog content from. Without any big mutuals. Without any shoutouts. Only my love for BTS, my dear followers’ support and my hard work.. My blog, became bigger and FAST (I got 10k in less than 6 months after I started) and that brought loads of jealousy and thus more rumors. Even if, I apologized and since then made my own gifs. I cried and cried and the teary eyes that my father looked at me with are something I am ashamed of to this day. To add one more thing while I am spilling the beans. I hate learning about someone dying. My grandma passed away sometime before that and it was so shocking to me. and some people came and told me when I was mourning her: Go follow that bitch of grandmother of yours. And for what? At that moment I didn’t think I would live to see the next year but I went to therapy and took medecine that was hurting and made me shake all day just to turn somewhat sane. No one knew tho ... I smiled all day and cried all night.. Even on the blog I fought no one of the ones who hated me. I just blocked them but even that was an insult to them?

hi, A/3 volunteer back again! i hope i can answer your questions properly, but i’m on mobile so sorry if i get a bit confused. it’s also going to be quite long but i hope you can figure out which questions i’m replying to. let me know if you need any more clarification!

1 - as tag wranglers, we don’t moderate content via deletion, etc - we just move fics into the correct tags, and it’s typically on a fandom basis (for example, i might solely wrangle for something like the supernatural fandom only). i’ve never come across ‘problematic’ tags since most of the time, it’s just sorting tags into like... more general tags? so example - someone tags a fic with ‘kinda fluffy kinda angsty’. we would then kind of make it so that tag redirects to ‘fluff with angst’, even though it still appears as the original tag on the fic. does that make sense? i’m also a little unsure of the other questions you had here - which is totally my fault, i’m in the middle of writing an essay for uni that needs to be in in like... 12 hours and my brain is frazzled - but if you were asking about a situation where if i was concerned that a single user had a collection of fics that were all entirely based upon something illegal and reported their entire account to mods, would it be deleted - i’m not sure. tag wranglers are kind of like low-level moderators, and we’re not what would typically be thought of as moderators since we simply reorganise content versus actually removing it. since the reporting process is typically through the site itself and is handled by an entirely separate team, i cant speak for how they think or what their process is.

2 - it’s up to our judgement as to if we want to report it, but again, the tags we wrangle are VERY general. tags like ‘dead dove don’t eat’ and stuff that are typically full of polarising content arent something i’ve come across, because i think they make up a minority of most fandoms when put against tags like ‘fluff’ and ‘angst’ and even stuff like ‘chocolate’, lmao. i’m not certain what happens when a report is processed and the fic is found to be removable - what i do know though is that with fics that are seen as breaking specific laws (i.e depictions of CSA, slander, etc) mods are often a lot more hard-handed for several reasons (reputation both within the community and in terms of the fact they could very much get in legal trouble). again though, i’m a low-level moderator and don’t see that side of the process. however, if i report something and it’s not taken down, i’m not implicated in any way. it’s been a while since i’ve been on the site and reported anything so i’m not entirely certain if reporting is 100% anonymous or if you have to supply details like email, but i think if you DO supply things, it’s to ensure you aren’t mass-reporting someone (bc i think that counts as targeted harassment). email is also possible to fake, so i think you can make the process anonymous if you want to. as for how often i personally report fic - not often. i’m a CSA victim (which is why this topic is touchy for me tbh), and i don’t like to go through the process because i find it arduous - you have to give an explanation as to why you’re reporting the fic, and i find it triggering at times. i’ve also never been in a position where i have found a fic while actively volunteering that i feel has been necessary to report, so i can’t speak for that either. all of that being said - i’ve heard of and seen on one occasion fics and entire accounts be deleted for harassment/slander - in particular, i’ve heard multiple times that accounts dedicated to purposely like... making fun of? or like technically harassing? kpop boy group members have been taken down because even though their content is ‘technically’ fanfiction, it’s obviously just there to incite hatred against a specific person. so, imo, if mods are quick on taking down accounts obviously run by 14 year olds in fandom drama writing numerous fics where boyband member A calls boyband member B stupid and tells him nobody likes him, i think they’re very likely just as serious about taking down more serious content. that’s just my opinion and my personal experience though, and it’s distinct from my volunteering.

overall, on the whole topic of CSA on the website - it’s really tough even just as a basic content moderator. there’s lots of reasons as to why people post it, and though people are very obviously welcome and encouraged to think critically about everything, it’s a fact that the topic is really really difficult to manoeuvre (culture, who is posting it, when was it posted, why it’s being posted aka vent fics, etc). as i said, i’m a CSA victim myself, so i understand the frustration, but it’s too nuanced and difficult a topic to be able to say ‘ban it all’. however, i do think the site is doing their best to crack down on stuff that is very obviously on there for one specific reason, and i also think generally, they’re changing things so people are able and sometimes encouraged to anonymise themselves by not giving any profile info and to protect themselves by turning off comments completely, etc. i find that you can make it really easy to curate your posting experience so that essentially, you can post but nobody can really interact.

3 - i like tag wrangling! i got into it because i saw a position on the front page of the site and decided to go for it. it wasn’t very taxing to get into and you don’t have to put much work in - a couple of hours a week is enough, and they’re understanding about work/uni/etc. it’s easy to meet other people through volunteering, and they ensure everyone is over 18. i don’t read through fic myself - just through tags, and then i sort them into their proper places. if something is tagged wrong, we don’t get in touch with the author, we just do our best to reorganise the tag so it redirects into the correct place - again, for instance, if someone writes a fantasy AU that they tag with ‘high fantasy prince/princess AU’ and that tag doesn’t exist, we would sort it into the main tag for a royalty AU or something like that. re: monetisation of fics: technically, monetised content is not allowed on A/3 - if someone is advertising their patreon or kofi in their authors notes or profile, you’re supposed to report it just as a general user. i think it’s because it puts the site at risk of being sued or something? but as a low level mod, i don’t HAVE to report these things unless i see them while i’m tag wrangling (aka i see a tag like ‘my patreon is XYZ!!!!! send me money!!!!!!’) and i personally don’t report monetised fics because ... i don’t find it a prominent issue, lmao. people are also learning to avoid it by being like this is my tumblr or this is my twitter, and when you click on their social media they link their patreon or whatever There instead. also, idk who decided the colour scheme! i think it was just like a generally agreed upon thing with the site designers. i also think there’s been convo for a few years about dark modes and stuff on the site, but i’m pretty sure the site has to get a few more things out of the way before they’ll prioritise that (i know they’re trying to work on a better moderating system for things like spam and harassment atm bc the spam filter absolutely sucks dick lol). i’ll totally drop a mention like WOW, wouldnt it be AMAZING if we could have this SPECIFIC COLOUR SCHEME, tho <3

STRANGE FACT ABOUT YOURSELF hmmmmm…. Description: If black cats were a negative omen, did that mean white cats were a positive one? Of course, Mc never believed the superstitions revolving around cats, but it was a fleeting thought that had crossed her mind as she found herself mysteriously joining an organization which involved the owner of that equally mysterious white cat. Mc didn’t quite know the odds, but she knew they were low. However, she wasn’t sure if she believed in coincidence either...

Author’s note: Heya! I’m not very far into this (only in the middle of chapter three) and i have a very loose picture of where this is going so I’m not sure how long this fic will last. Anyways, for now, here’s chapter one! I usually regret posting my fan fictions later on but lets hope that doesn’t happen with this one hehe.

This fic is sort of an au. It still loosely follows the og Mystic Messenger timeline, with some changes. One being that I’m going to slow down the flow of things. That way Jumin and Mc will have more time to develop feelings for each other. So i guess you could call this slow burn?? Anyways, I hope you enjoy, and if there are any grammatical errors, sorry!

Meow! Mc made her way to the door of her apartment building. Meow! Before she could enter, her phone began to buzz in her pocket. Meow! She furrowed her brow and looked around. No cat in sight. After a shrug, she proceeded to read the text message she had just received. Meow!

“What the—” Spinning her head around once more, Mc spotted a white Persian cat primly sitting not more than ten feet away. “Hey, kitty!” she cooed, kneeling down and holding out her hand. “Come here, baby.” The feline took her time, zigzagging toward Mc. She warily sniffed the hand offered before rubbing her face on it and purring. “Aww you’re just a sweetie. What you doing out here all alone, hm?” Of course, the response was purring. Mc scanned her surroundings again, only to find the street void of people. She returned her attention to the fluffy fur-ball, who was now on her back, playfully kicking and biting Mc’s hand. “I wonder how long you’ve been out here,” she mused. “Not long, I’m guessing.” Her coat was still relatively pristine. Mc proceeded to scoop up the cat and enter her apartment building.

Once inside her unit, she put the Persian down and made her way to the kitchen. Grabbing a chair, she placed it under an array of cabinets, moving aside the spices to grab the can of cat food in the back. Glancing at the can, Mc felt a small wave of sadness wash over her. She demounted from the chair and retrieved a tin bowl that hadn’t been used for a month now. After she dished up a few scoops, she placed it on the floor and waited for the feline to eat. She didn’t. Well, not at first. She sat there a moment, staring at it, then at Mc. “Go on.” Mc scratched the cat’s head and gradually ran her fingers down its back. That is when she dove into the meat; however, the moment Mc stopped, her (apparent) master chirped a series of short mews. Mc smiled. “Ah, so you won’t eat unless you’re pampered while doing so? Spoiled much?” But, not being able to resist that cute furry face, she obliged.

Next, Mc showed her new guest where the litter box was before plopping herself and the cat on the bed, both falling fast asleep.

The following morning, Mc asked around the area to see if they owned a white Persian cat, and showed them a picture. No luck. She knew it wouldn’t be that simple, seeing as she had never seen the cat before.

Thirty minutes passed before she returned to her apartment. She noticed the food she had left out before leaving that morning was licked clean out of the bowl, and it’s devourer lounging on the bed, bathing herself. “Oh, so now you’ll eat without me petting you?” Mc retorted, feigning annoyance.

After eating her own breakfast and taking a shower, she heard a knock on her apartment door. “You have a key, you can open it yourself!” she lazily shouted from atop her mattress. There was some fumbling before a woman entered. She had cropped hair that looked like milk chocolate and smooth light-brown skin.

“Well, excuse me for wanting to be polite!”

“Sav, our friendship is way past politeness.” Savannah collapsed onto the bed beside Mc and simply shrugged.

“Hey! Why is there a ton of fur on your comforter?!” Mc tore her gaze away from her phone.

“Uh so I sort of picked up a cat last night.”

“Wait, wha—?! Where is it? You got over Minnie already? I thought you said—“

“No, no, no! She found me last night and she was alone and I couldn’t leave her so I’m just letting her stay here until I find the owner.” As if she had been summoned, the feline in question hopped onto the bed and curled up next to Mc, completely ignoring Savannah. She rolled her eyes,

“Typical cat. So—,” a yawn interrupted her, “how do you plan to find this mystery owner? How do you even know she had an owner? Or what if the owner was being abusive, so the cat ran away.”

“Uh, that’s definitely not the case. Jeez, Sav, this isn’t some tragic pet movie.”

“But how do you know that for sure, hmm? For all you now, you could be trying to return her to the hell she just escaped!”

“Look at her coat. It’s extremely healthy. Look at it. She’s clearly groomed regularly and gets the best food. No one who cares about their cat wouldn’t abuse their cat.”

“Eh, wasn’t that a double negative?” Sav interjected. Mc put her foot on her friend’s head.

“The point is that I need to find the owner. They’re probably worried sick. Like— just imagine if the owner was a little girl. Hm? Sav, would you want some twelve year old girl to be crying and worried sick about their dear lost kitty cat?” Sav sighed exasperatedly.

“Fine,” she groaned. “So, what are you doing to find this twelve year old girl?”

“Well I already checked most of the other units in this building, and I just posted a pic on Instagram and Tumblr asking if anyone had lost a cat that looked like this one.”

“And?”

“Well, I just posted it. Sorry to disappoint, but I don’t have tons of followers like you who see my stuff instantly.”

“O—kay... so what do you plan on doing in the meantime?” Mc sat up.

“I guess I’ll continue to ask around locally. Wanna join me?”

“Ehhh what’s in it for me? A good conscience knowing I just saved a twelve year old girl from the depths of despair?”

“Well, that, and I’ll buy you a Starbucks.” Sav bolted up.

“Deal!”

Their inquiry proved to be unfruitful. That day, which had previously been planned out as a day they would hang out together before Savannah had to leave the city for a shoot, was spent up almost entirely looking for the owner of the mysterious Persian. It was four in the afternoon when Sav began to complain. Honestly, it surprised Mc that she managed to last that long.

“This is not how I imagined today was gonna go.”

“Me neither,” Mc mumbled. “How about we grab some dinner? Or do you need to head back and pack?”

“Who do you take me for? I’m already packed.”

“Alright, let’s get some dinner then, Miss proactive.”

The next day also unearthed no evidence as to who owned the cat. Mc decided to spend the day inside watching Netflix and YouTube, but kept a wary eye on her social media sites. She had made multiple posts, but the few replies she had gotten were along the lines of “Aw, cute! Hope you find the owner.”

The weekend ended. Mc had begun to think that she would have to keep her new feline friend until, on Monday morning, she woke to find that Savannah had called her three times and texted her five times. “Call me.” “Mc wake up!” “Hey its abt the cat.” “Call mehhh.” “Hellooo?” Mc bolted upright and dialed her friend.

“Finally! Don’t you have work today?!”

“Never mind that! What’s this about the cat?”

“Right, right. So you know how you said it could be owned by a twelve year old girl? Turns out she’s a twenty-seven year old man.”

“Wait, what? How do—”

“And guess who that is?”

“Uh—”

“Ju-min Ha-n!” Silence ensued. “Yo— please tell me you know who that is.”

“Uh, well—” An exasperated sigh came from the other side of the phone.

“Seriously, Mc, how do you live in the same city as the corporate heir to one of the most famous companies in South Korea and not even know who he is?!”

“What?! If he’s as important as you say he is, how the heck does his cat end up on the streets? Are you sure? How do you know she’s his?”

“I saw an online news article. Can you believe he had a news article put up about his missing cat? Usually people just post papers around saying ‘MISSING CAT.’” Mc replied thoughtfully,

“He obviously cares for her a lot.” Mc paused. “I can relate.”

“Anyways, he said he’d reward anyone who found her and returned her to him unharmed. The amount is uh... steep.” Mc brushed passed her friend’s statement.

“Send me the link to the article.”

“I cant. The photographer is here and ready to begin the shoot. Sorry! Just look up ‘Jumin Han, cat’ and you’ll get plenty of results. Talk later!”

Savannah wasn’t lying. There was more than just one article covering the topic. Mc clicked into the top website and scrolled down to the contact information. There was a phone number and an email address. Mc decided to dial the number right away. She hadn’t truly thought about it, as she was not apart of the high class world, but she subconsciously was expecting Mr. Han himself to pick up. She was startled when a female’s voice sounded on the other end.

“Hello, this is Chief Assistant Kang speaking.”

“O-oh... um... hello.” Her surprise was evident in her tone, but fortunately, the woman seemed to not notice or care.

“Do you know the whereabouts of the feline belonging to Mr. Jumin Han?” So formal. Mc could detect the weariness in the voice. In fact, the statement was monotone, as if the speaker had relayed it more than a million times that day.

“Hello? Miss, if this is a prank call I will hang up.”

“No! Please don’t hang up!” Mc sighed and continued. “I think I have Mr. Han’s cat.”

“‘Think’ or ‘know’?” She still didn’t show any type of surprise or urgency in her voice. This chick’s probably heard a lot of claims of having or seeing the white Persian; what with that reward, Mc mused.

“I’m pretty sure. I’d say she looks the same as the pictures in the ads. And her demeanor and coat scream ‘pampered.’” The woman’s voice grew more attentive.

“And where is the cat now?”

“Here with me at my apartment. I found her wandering near my apartment building and after she took a liking to me I took her in.”

“And how long as she been with you?”

“Since Friday night. I would have contacted you sooner but I had zero clue who she belonged to.”

“Could you provide any proof that you in fact do possess my employer’s cat?”

“I can send you a photo I took.”

“That will do. Send it to the email address on the website you got this number from. Goodbye.” Click.

Mc did as instructed. After ten minutes lapsed, she received a reply. It’s contents were along the lines of:

“Mr. Han has identified the cat in the photo as his own. As soon as possible, please, bring her, safely and comfortably, to—” and an address was added. Mc glanced at the time. It was almost 5 p.m. and that meant rush hour. Taxis would be difficult to come by; but when the C&R corporate heir’s cat was in need of returning to her owner, how could one refuse?

Chapter 2: Nothing Unusual

Erithon groaned upon leaving Colonel Graff’s office, rubbing at his temples. Wonderful guy, the colonel. Three missing patrol teams were certainly not ‘nothing unusual.’ If it hadn’t been for Sergeant Dorne, he might not have gotten any helpful intel at all. The woman had some backbone, too, quoting regulations at Graff like that. Maybe Garza’s instruction to keep things quiet wasn’t a bad one after all. No telling what Graff would stoop to if he had no problem disobeying a general’s order.

Garza’s description of Taris had also been generously lacking in detail. It was hard to discern the crumbled buildings from the rolling landscape, every piece of duracrete and plexisteel was choked with vegetation. The air was thick with humidity and a chemical tang that revealed the pollution that still pervaded the atmosphere. Safe of course, but still smelly.

He was starting to understand why reclaiming Taris would be so symbolic to the Republic. It would show the Empire that they wouldn’t stand down, that they could recover even after centuries had passed. That despite the destruction they might rain down on the Republic, they would rise again. In the meantime, the tattered planet with its uncharted ruins and vicious creatures was an ideal hiding place for any one of the former Havoc members. Erithon wasn’t sure if Dorne’s lead would pan out, but it was better than nothing at all.

A harried-looking private stood shaking his head at the backs of a pair of settlers, still debating whatever issue they’d had with the young man. He turned back toward the spaceport and caught sight of Erithon, raising a hand in greeting.

“Lieutenant? Private Sakal. I’m glad you’re here. Brass asked for me to look out for you.” He gave Erithon a snappy salute followed up with a welcoming grin.

Don’t lose sight of your primary objective, Garza says. Right. “What can I help with, Private?”

“Captain Childress at HQ is requesting some help from your unit, sir.” The private’s eyes flickered to the Havoc insignia on Erithon’s shoulder, an expression of awe on his face. “You’re requested to meet up with a Jedi there for an important job.”

Erithon nodded. Jedi? Interesting. “Of course, Private. What’s the mission?”

“Need to know, sir, and I don’t. When you arrive at headquarters look for a Jedi. Human female, brown robes.” He raised a hand to approximately chin level. “’Bout that high.” He smirked. “Not much to her, but she got some of the settlers off our backs.” Sakal jerked a thumb over his shoulder at the retreating settlers.

“How’s that?”

“We’re not authorized to handle personal claims, of course, but she stepped right up and got those kids straightened out.”

“What was the problem?”

“Turns out there were aliens with an even older claim to the land sitting on the place.” He nodded, admiration brightening his young face. “The Jedi convinced the human settlers to work with them. Even the brother. We might have had a real scene on our hands if she hadn’t stepped in.”

“Sounds like she’s a good asset.”

“Probably why they’re pairing you up, sir. You shouldn’t be far behind her if you leave now. Take the base speeder.” He gave another smart salute. “Good hunting, Lieutenant.”

When Erithon arrived at headquarters, he had no trouble picking the Jedi out of the motley collection of Republic troops like himself. Even swathed in layers of traditional-looking robes, she was a head shorter than him and couldn’t weigh any more than his cannon. He caught a flicker of silver glinting on her left hip, presumably the Jedi’s iconic weapon, as she turned his way.

He didn't know much about Jedi. He'd seen a few in the field and had always been grateful for their help. They were skilled warriors, to be sure, but more often than not held themselves away from the rest of the enlisted troops. He didn't get the impression at the time that these Jedi thought they were better. They simply did... Jedi things. Meditated. Whatever.

She pushed back the hood of her cloak, expanding on the brief glimpse of delicate features he’d seen as she approached. She had bright, deftly bound hair, dusky platinum in the muted light of the Tarisian jungle, a pretty compliment to her fair skin. She observed him intensely as he approached, seeming to lay bare his thoughts and feelings. Expecting to feel edgy and unnerved by such a gaze, Erithon was surprised to find himself ready to share anything he was thinking with this lovely woman.

Erithon stopped up short. A Jedi, he corrected himself. A beautiful Jedi, but still a Jedi. Even so, that admonishment didn’t fully stop his imagination. Maybe he wouldn’t want to share everything he was thinking with her, after all.

He cleared his throat and squared his shoulders. “You must be the Jedi.”

“I am. Aitahea Daviin.” She placed her right hand over her heart before making a courteous bow.

“Lieutenant Erithon Zale, Havoc Squad.” Feeling a little awkward, he nodded in reply. He was usually one for a salute or a handshake, but his scant experience with the Order left him a little bewildered as to the appropriate protocol.

Aitahea didn’t seem to mind. She canted her head, curious. “Have we met before?”

“I’m sure I’d remember meeting you.” Erithon flushed. “I mean, I don’t think we have. But it’s a big galaxy, Master Jedi.”

Aitahea’s expression was inquisitive, but the glitter in her eyes betrayed unexpected mirth. “That it is, Lieutenant. Shall we find Captain Childress? I expect this will be urgent.”

“Sure,” Erithon said, rubbing at the back of his neck in chagrin. Wow, great first impression, he thought as he followed Aitahea.

Headquarters was cobbled together inside a ruined high-rise, mismatched resources creating a bizarre labyrinth. Like everything on Taris it was snarled in vegetation, though someone had made a cursory effort to remove the worst of it. The portly captain was waiting for them beneath one of the clearer patches.

“Master Jedi, Lieutenant! Thank you for taking the time to see me.” He exchanged salutes with Erithon before turning to Aitahea. “You did nice work on that land claim mess, Master Jedi.” He shook his head in annoyance. “We didn’t fly this many troops to the armpit of the galaxy so some kids could play pioneer.”

“I… only did what was needed, Captain.” Aitahea exchanged an uncertain glance with Erithon, who shrugged and shook his head, equally baffled with the captain’s disdain.

Childress didn’t seem to catch their exchange and continued, waving a hand dismissively. “It’ll take way more than it’s worth to make this planet livable. Only thing interesting about Taris is that it’s the worst failure the Republic’s ever had.”

Erithon frowned. “What do you mean?”

Aitahea turned to him. “Taris was the site of a massive conflict with the Sith more than three hundred years ago, during the Jedi Civil War. They were hunting for Bastila Shan, who was only a Padawan at the time.”

“Shan? Related to the Jedi Grand Master?”

“Yes. Master Satele is a descendent of Bastila and Revan. Darth Malak blockaded Taris while both the Republic and the Empire sought Bastila. Revan and his companions were able to rescue Bastila and escape to Dantooine, but Darth Malak ordered an orbital bombardment, which…” Aitahea gestured to the swamps around them, “resulted in this.” She dropped her hand to her side, eyes closing as if in pain. “Billions died.”

“It was an ugly flaming death, too. They tried the same thing on Coruscant in the last war.”

Aitahea flinched at the captain’s words but swiftly resumed her serene demeanor. Erithon raised a brow at the pale Jedi, hesitating a moment before continuing the conversation. “Yeah. And we still don’t know how to defend against a bombardment like that once the enemy ships are in low orbit.”

“Correct, Lieutenant,” Childress replied, “And we need to change that.” He cleared his throat before continuing. “I sent commandos to defend a research team at the crash side of the Endar Spire – the last Republic warship shot down over this planet.

“If we’re lucky, that ship recorded the whole bombardment. But my team’s lost contact…” He paused, eyeing the Jedi and trooper critically. “…which means there are desk jockeys in the wild with the most valuable data on Taris. That’s where you come in.”

Erithon and Aitahea shared another look before the Jedi nodded decisively. “We’ll find them, Captain,” Erithon agreed.

“Fast as you can make it. The crash site’s some ways out, in the Sinking City.” The captain paused, broad face caught in a scowl. “Data’s the number one priority. Bring anything the Endar Spire recorded to the outpost.”

Aitahea frowned. “What about your people?”

“I don’t know if you’ll find survivors, Master Jedi, but we need that data.”

Asking if they’d met was not an invitation to flirt – despite Erithon’s charmingly inadvertent remark - but a genuine inquiry. It wasn’t likely to be any connection of consequence, but some faded memory had sparked inside her. Had they met on one of the myriad planets she’d visited? She’d crossed the paths of countless beings during her time training to be a Jedi, some more than once. What set Erithon apart?

She waved away the distracting thought as they left Aurek base. The man beside her was more important than any memory. Aitahea could sense in him a solid core of will and a sense of duty she had seldom encountered. His Force-signature was like a flame, warm and luminous, but prepared to burn if a threat was perceived.

Leaving behind the skeletal structure that served as Aurek base, Erithon and Aitahea assessed their route on the trooper’s battered datapad.

“There’s the Endar Spire,” Erithon offered, zooming in on the map. “Getting between here and there isn’t going to be a walk in the park.”

Aitahea nodded, stepping close to get a closer view of the map. “Indeed. The rakghouls are teeming all through the city. There’ve been reports of pirates and scavengers near the Endar Spire as well.”

“Probably the ones responsible for our lost people.”

“I’m almost certain of it.” Aitahea traced the twisted line of their journey with a slender finger. “I’d prefer a more direct route, but Taris doesn’t seem to have left us many options.”

Erithon handed the datapad over to her as he quickly checked his gear. “I wonder what it used to be like.”

She looked up from the datapad, that inquisitive tilt to her head appearing again. “What?”

“The city. The planet.”

Looking out across the ruined landscape with thoughtful eyes, she worked to envision what Taris had been like before the catastrophic destruction that had made it uninhabitable for three centuries. She imagined privileged families like hers in the bright spires of the upper city, and the miserable beings confined to the shadowed lower levels. Light and darkness. “I expect it was a great deal like Coruscant, or perhaps Corellia.”

Erithon shrugged. “Haven’t spent much time on Coruscant. I was assigned there the last month or so, but not really long enough to get a good grasp of what it’s really like.”

Aitahea wondered at his response. She’d just come from Coruscant as well, having left Yuon in the capable hands of her physicians. Had they crossed paths while on separate assignments there? It wasn’t without possibility, but that flicker of recognition seemed to linger further back in her memory, long before Coruscant or even Tython.

“You spend much time there?” Erithon asked, stirring her out of her reverie.

“Oh,” Aitahea began, refocusing her attention on the trooper. “Yes. I was born there. I know it somewhat, but many things have changed since I left to… continue my training.”

“I bet. So, you were a kid when the Treaty was signed,” Erithon commented, making a clumsy attempt at insight. Like all children of the Republic, he knew the history surrounding the Battle of Coruscant and the treaty – if you could call it that – that resulted. If she’d been on Coruscant… the Jedi Temple…

“Yes,” Aitahea said, voice hushed. “I was away from the Temple with my parents and sister at that time.” Her eyes were fixed on the datapad, though she didn’t appear to be seeing it. “I was shuffled from one safehouse to another while the Sith razed the city. Eventually the Jedi evacuated me along with the other survivors.”

Erithon watched the Jedi’s pensive expression linger, half wishing he hadn’t dragged up what was clearly a bad memory for her. But at the same time a sense of solidarity seemed to sink in. It looked like neither of them had been left unscathed by the war, no matter how cold either side insisted it was. “Sorry,” he offered anyway. “Didn’t mean to bring up bad memories.”

Aitahea cleared her throat and handed the datapad back. “Not at all, Lieutenant. Our history helps us become who we’re meant to be.” She pulled up her hood, shadowing her face, but when she lifted her eyes to his they weren’t haunted like they had been seconds before, instead shining bright with promise. “Let’s rescue our people.”

so, i think, im pretty sure? im Autistic. I looked at the DSM-5, highlighted my traits. Looked at camoflauging tactics, or ways afab Autistic people often mask, highlighted my ways. Looked at differences in AFAB Autistic people, higlighted my things. Ive had these traite since I was a lot younger (im only 15 so like, since at least 4-5 is when i remember). Ive always been "weird", n it was like everyone else always has the directions, and i was the only one without. N then, some tiktoks about underdiagnosed ASD in women caught my interesttt.

i have a therapist! that i can ask to get professionally diagnoseddd. but i dont,, wanna do thattt. bc i dont want my mom to immensely refuse the fact that i might be. And ik the rest of my family will too. Like she did for 2 years until my previous therapist called her ass out, and i started failing school this year- also, i dont feel comfortable enough to tell my new therapist yet, i think im gonna wait a bit. a few more sessions? maybe til im 17-18.

So for now, im just gonna self diagnose, like i did for ADHD for 2 years, before i finally got officially diagnosed. bc idek if i want that on my records bc ik,, ppl can fuck me over bc ik if i get that diagnosis,, n ik a fuck ton of stuff is gonna changeee. and im not ready for that

i dont like a lot of my adhd (well tbh mostly the rapid mood swings and rsd)

but the intense happiness is nice:) idk if it's the fact that im just,, happy,, or bc i think bc im so happy if i was with another person id be sharing that happiness.

but it's nice to hear one part of a song that makes you see stars or rewinding something over and over again bc it just makes you giggle that much. or because that was the best book youve ever read and now you have to go on a research high. or how that video was s o good you just have to do a little dance and maybe some vocal stims bc how could you not.

sometimes it gets too much,, bc it can feel like it's bursting out. it's s o intense it might be nervewracking. not painful, but yeah uncomfortable. your heart is so full and your chest is about to burst from how happy you are.

but for the most part,, i like it:)

so my solution for my internalized ableism category: is it laziness (tho im trying not to use that word anymore w myself) or executive dysfunction?

ive decided,, if i can do it rn, i just dont feel like doing it, but i still need to so i will.

if i cannot do it, it is executive dysfunction. if i have tried, and i just cant and feel intense frustration, anxiety, and possibly exhausted, it's executive dysfunction

yes ik this is exactly the definition of executive dysfunction but it's only now clicking w me and im only now getting over it so shhhhhh alsjsjahsgsgdhgs

I’m Going To Try To Relax And Try Not To Think Of That Disgusting Stuff That Peeves Me Off...And I Hope For A New Place Other Than Youtube.

You Do Not Have To Read This, It Is Mostly To Get Some Feelings Out.

I just want to try to relax, and try not to think about knowing how there was a injustice so many centuries ago.

Angels who have the skills and the training to protect life,

but do nothing to protect a life that has hardly started

(I’m speaking of when Jesus was a baby, and all those baby boys around his age, died.)

are no better than demons.

at least some Angels are off the hook, even the ones who weren’t even born yet, and even some Earth Angels who haven’t reached the Adult Age in Angel Years.....which I guess would be in the same years as demons.

I was in the middle of playing on the Xbox, well I was watching anime before,

one of the DVDs I got, but then I decided to take a break,

and check out some stuff on Youtube on there.

while being on the Xbox, so I do plan to watch episode 4 of Helluva Boss after I post this.

I mean has no one really question how freaking wrong that is?

are we are suppose to be okay with those men, that was send by a king,

to hurt so many lives that had hardly began to live.

when I was in the living room, I couldn’t help but think about it....

and becoming really mad at the angels who did nothing to save those babies.

I had to try to keep myself calm, try to calm my anger.

I was even thinking about hoping Mother, spanks them for it.

and by Mother, I mean Heavenly Mother, who I still view as being the Earthly Mother as well.

and if it is true that my energy wings do go in flame mode

when I get really mad or upset in anyway,

I wouldn’t be surprise if it did end up like that moments ago...

I will use my pendulum to ask Azrael later if that did happen again.

I want to try to go a full day without using my pendulum.

plus there is still the whole having to make sure to throw some salt on my pendulum...but I will do that later tonight.

I just want to try my best not to think about it,

or how messed up Grandpa King Solomon is too,

if one of those women didn’t speak up,

he might of gone through with that sick act.

anyone, no matter if they are a mortal man or a angel,

if they let ANY baby or child come to harm,

they deserve a timeout in a dungeon.

I want to try to get it changed, I mean I could at least try to pray to both the Divine Heavenly Father & Heavenly/Earthly Mother,

about it and try to hope that I can have a Soul Name change.

I guess it is possible why I never had that pop into my head before,

and the reason why I believed that I didn’t have a Soul Name at first,

was because the one soul name I was given...

was a name I wasn’t ready to know.

I still believe there should be a different place to put up videos and amv type videos, that isn’t Youtube, where they wont let those under 15 in,

and parents should take more responsibility, and not place the blame on mature content.

the use of the child lock can make everyone happy,

and at least other sites make sure to have it impossible for mature content to be seen by those who are not sign in, even if they are, if they are not the proper, they can’t see it.

it might of been a good thing I had admitted that I was exposed to stuff too early, I mean I was told that I repeated a bad word from something on tv.

which once more, was “son of a witch” but the word wasn’t witch.

and I was just a baby, maybe around toddler age when I did that.

parents shouldn’t place the full blame on whats on tv,

or on the shows or movies that are NOT FOR LITTLE KIDS.

they need to make sure to take more responsibility,

and not end up hurting others who enjoy watching the mature series or reading about it.

as well as what happen to those children, were all made up.

but we know that we can’t change those moments in the past,

even if we want to. and humankind should NOT time travel.

doing that in movies or shows or video games or comics,

that’s fine....

but the real time traveling, it sucks.

if it isn’t getting some things back that a was lost in March,

and it only ends up fully messing up the timeline,

and possibly causing something really REALLY bad to happen,

and the one who messed that up, having to go back in time again,

to make sure they did cause the alternating of the past in the first place,

then what good is real life time traveling...?

but anyway, I want to try not to think about well some stuff that happen a long time ago.

plus I want to try not to think too much about stuff that really peeve me off.

I want to try to take my mind off it, by just watching shows, movies,

playing a video game and even do some reading.

even if I can still like the good sides of Youtube,

it still has a bad side, and it needs to stop.

too many Youtubers get hurt, and some get away with stuff that they do without the permission of other Youtubers.

and even those who do get permission from other Youtubes,

like Subing their amv that has to do with a video game or other,

some jerk wont even bother to READ the description or the original link.

and will end up reporting a false report on the original.

not all videos will be for kids, some will be for mature audiences only.

it isn’t right how things are blame on the content,

instead of the parents and guardians,

who should try to put the child lock on the browsing.

there should be one, and if there isn’t then there should be a app to be made,

that makes it not possible for a child to see the mature stuff that is online,

like the child lock will make it so that it can’t be seen at all.

at least other sites, are able to keep the really mature stuff hidden,

by the use of check boxes, where you can say what type of mature it is,

if you don’t have a account for it, then you wont see it,

but if you do have one, but aren’t the proper age, you still wont be able to see it until you become the proper age, which the site can tell.

I hope that there can be a place where the kind of stuff that happens on Youtube, doesn’t happen.

it be nice if they update the hole romance thing,

make it so that you can romance Mordin Solus,

but it will be a bit different than the others.

I mean like a kiss on the forehead and just having your Shepard Avatar

nothing else happens, but a bond of romance still forms when Shepard and Mordin admit their feelings for each other.

and in Mass Effect 3, if you had romanced Mordin in Mass Effect 2,

and never ended up seeing anyone else aka two-time him,

then the romance between you will still be there.

I’m not sure if it is true that Tali and Ashley can be romanced by the Female Shepard now, I mean in the legendary version.

but I guess I can wait and see.

I kind of want to try not to romance anyone in the Mass Effect 1 of the Legendary.

even if I and other fans might want Mordin to be added to the romance choices.

it doesn’t mean it will happen.

I mean yes when you do end up in a romance with one of the characters,

you end up doing “grown-up” stuff.

but a romance with Mordin, doesn’t have to end up like that on the first romance. maybe in Mass Effect 3, but Mordin should still become part of the romance choices.

so yeah I want a Ace-Romance with Mordin, where both him and Shepard,

admit their feelings for each other, and end up together in Mass Effect 2 and stay a couple and rekindle that love in Mass Effect 3.

and if you did romance Mordin, if he is about to give up his life,

he gives you one more kiss on the lips good bye, before going to do what needs to be done.

though it be nice if it was possible to cure the krogan and keep Mordin alive.

I hope someday, they will add that, I don’t like Mordin ending up dying

or if you do save him, you just end up not curing the krogan.

there should be a third option, like Mordin letting a small robot he made to go and make sure the cure is successful.

some fans might not agree, but even if certain scenes happens after you end up with one of the characters, there should still be a different version of romance, where nothing happens on the first romance before going to save the galaxy from the reapers or those that follow them.

and yes even if some people think that those who are Ace don’t do that

Well, for collecting, I cant really help you in finding dead things, they kinda just find YOU. Although water sources in the woods and along main roads is always a good bet if you want to pick up your own deads. If you’re ok with buying from trappers and hunters there is an array of sites to order from. Heres a useful link for buying furs Alternatively, you can go hunt the things yourself - but that seems to be…an unpopular opinion. Its really just up to you.

Collecting Things you will need with you in the car at all times (if possible)

Trash bags\plastic bags\or even a plastic bin, whatever floats your boat. Be aware that corpses left in plastic bags in anything over 70F or 21c (I think) for more than a couple hours will begin to literally melt. I cannot tell you how long an individual corpse will last in a plastic bag in your car trunk, but if its hot, probably not more than two or three hours before it is ruined. Its gonna be gross, man. Do not be alarmed if the pelt gets damp, you only need to worry if the fur starts coming out in huge clumps when gently tugged on.

Gardening or latex gloves I don’t personally believe in using gloves, because there are very few things you can catch from the dead. BUT there ARE things you can catch - especially from raccoons, so, if you want 100 percent safety, and also maybe to feel less grossed out, bring these.

Knife\scalpel Vulture or not, I think its wise to keep a knife on you at all times regardless, but you will definitely want one in the car in case you find something pancaked into the road but with bits you want. (IE: the top half might be gone but the tail is good, or the back half is gone but the head is good.). The knife should be sharp….derp.

Hedge clippers In case the knife doesn’t cut it or you find deer or coyote you cant fit in your car. Pro tip - try to find the joints to make chopping less of a hassle

Air fresheners\febreeze\ anything you want to keep the car fresh Even if you keep it in a bin or bag - the smell WILL linger. I didn’t notice it, but other people sure as shit did - and they didn’t like it.

Theres probably more things Im missing, but this is just my personal list.

Processing

If you want the skin - I recommend watching some skinning videos , not only will it prep you for the gore, but in general they are very helpful.

Key words for vids you WILL need at some point - Fleshing. Fleshing is very important. This will probably take up a lot of your time tbh. It does mine anyway…

Once skinned and fleshed you need to put a generous amount of salt on the skin…like..an entire layer. Make it look like Christmas morning. The salt will get all mushy and eventually hrden as it dries the skin out. Replace the salt daily. When the skin is dry and kinda stiff - and the salt isnt getting mushy anymore. You’re done with salting phase.

Processing for bones

Maceration: When you put the corpse in a plastic bag in the sun - or in a bucket or bin of warm water to melt down for bones. In either case you will want t make sure it is somewhere dogs will not get it. If you use a bucket, make sure to put a lid on top of it. This is the most effective way, but also the most smelly…Like…its bad. Its terrible. Chew some gum or a mint or just dont breathe around it, because its the worst thing ever.

Burial - You can just wrap it in a sheet or whatever and bury it outside, or in a pot. May take a while, but its the least smelly, most discreet and you can care for flowers while the corpse rots down =3 If you want articulate the bones - or put them back together to form a complete skeleton later. Cut the corpse into sections and wrap them individually (again a sheet is best, but certain wire works too)

Open pit - This was my preferred method - Some bones get stolen but, eh. You just dig a hole and pile your body in there on top of a sheet or trash bag. Make sure to secure it by putting wire on top and weighing it down with dirt on the edges, or rocks. You can put leaves over top of this if you want to help the smell.

simmering or boiling - NOT RECOMMENDED. You put the parts in a pan or crock pot of water you will never be using outside of gross stuff ever again.I hear this is easier with a crock pot. Supposedly this is by far the fastest way - but youre very likely to ruin the bones. You just…set the crock pot to simmer or boil the bones

Dermestids - You can get yourself an aquarium and fill it with corpse eating beetles! They require some basic tips and care sheets, but they dont seem difficult. The most worrisome thing is - that if they escape they may eat your collection…This is the most effective and safe way imo, but it can take time - and also you have to care for beetles.

If you have bones but they're a little dirty (dirt, grease, stains) and you ant them pearly white, you will want to soak them in a tin can, glass jar, or plastic tub with peroxide. Skulls will float, find a way to weigh them down (stuff em with beads, rocks, whatever. Tie a string to a rock then to the skull and let it sink. Arrange ther bones in a teepee or wedge to make them hold the skull down.

DO NOT USE BLEACH. UNLESS YOU WANT BONE DUST, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING IN THE END. IT MIGHT TAKES WEEKS, IT MIGHT TAKE YEARS, BUT YOU'RE GONNA HAVE A BAD TIME.

If you mess up, its ok, this might help.

I advise cleaning the skull separate from other bones. ANd I recommend cleaning the teeth separate so you risk losing them less.

Dying bones

You can dye bones by boiling various plant leaves and berries with salt. Pokeberries make a deep purple-red, rose petals vary - the red makes a sort of maroon....ect - just experiment.

How to tell if the plant\berry can be boiled of its color - take a petal or part and rub it between your thumb and fore-finger, if it bleeds on you - it can make a dye. (at least in my experience.)

Dry preserving

Much like wet preservation, but you drop the body part \ small animal into formalin or alcohol for a month or two and then take it out and let it mummify. Idk a terrible bunch about this - I just stuck things in a box and forgot abut them for months on end...probably not the best idea...I have some regrets.
