As the foliage disappeared and the 8 of them remained standing around the broken Mirror Stone, Mayu suddenly spoke up.

"I've been thinking about this for a while, but...how did the two of you transform?"

She looked at Satoru and the now-human Daifuku.

It was Daifuku who spoke up first. "Satoru wanted to help you guys, so I asked the Mirror Stone to grant his wish."

"Oh, wow!" Mayu replied. "I didn't know the Mirror Stone could grant other people's wishes!"

"Well, it was my wish too. I wanted to grant it with him."

Mayu nodded. "I think that's so nice! And Satoru-kun! You look really handsome without your glasses."

Grinning, she turned to Iroha. "You think so too, Iroha-chan?! Right?!"

Iroha suddenly bolted to attention. "Yeah! Of course! Thanks, Satoru-kun! You looked so cool!"

"Cool? Oh....uh...." Satoru blushed. "I'm just glad my wish came true."

"And it was all because of me!" Daifuku turned his head up in pride.

"You're right."

Gently, Satoru began to pat Daifuku's head. "Thanks, Daifuku."

Daifuku lazily closed his eyes in contentment.
