Still sticking with the idea that TMAGP is dealing with adapted versions of the fears. I do like the theory that they’re desires now but I feel so far in a lot of the statements they still have terror at the back of their minds (ie mr plant man). Maybe part of the adaptation (other than being more modernised) is how they draw people in.
