Got about 16 hours left to decide if I'm gonna splurge for CSP ex ver. 2.0, and I wanted to do something quick and easy to see if I would indeed use the animation feature.

We'll see in a few hours I suppose. For now, I continue to work while thinking hard.

it ever hit you out of nowhere that castiel is living in a dead guy's body and the show just does not care. it does not care. jimmy novak might as well not exist the moment he or claire is out of sight. cas stole a guy's body and his face and his life, and we can't ever talk about it or discuss it in detail because of how fucking horrifying it is that sam and dean's best friend just walks around in a dead guy suit. there's not even a human soul in there anymore. it's just a corpse. stone-cold body snatcher indeed.

So, as I was listening to the s2 track “Shadow and Flame” for the millionth time, I noticed something on the cover image…

People have mentioned how in the s2 prologue we have Sauron posing in the style of Da Vinci´s Salvator Mundi painting…

Celebrimbor, pierced by arrows and lifted by a spear upon a pillar, has been compared to a painting of Saint Sebastian by Mantegna…

Tom with lamb is kinda self-explanatory…

Going back to the track cover, we see a moment from the season finale when Galadriel and Sauron come once more face to face and fight.

Galadriel is wearing elven traveling clothes with the imprint of a Tree on her front and back- in itself thats nothing unusual, all Noldor Elves would wear tokens that depict a reminder of the Two Trees of Valinor.

Sauron is wearing armour with two endless Snakes on his breastplate- snakes can have a positive connotation, of renewal, rebirth and eternity, Aragorn will wear a family heirloom ring of two snakes.

Here is what I can’t now un-see though… Eve fighting off the Snake to protect the Tree of Knowledge.

No, this is not a painting that exists, but the visual connotations for such an interpretation are all there.

She is literary protecting “Heaven on Earth” (I know thats how usually Valinor is described, but now use the term more generally for everything good ever created) from someone who promises power, a crown and knowledge, while only bringing destruction and shadow and pain.

yknow i really really try to see where people are coming from, usually. as in i try to understand why they do the things they do. but. when it comes to my country's politicians. i just can't seem to figure out how a person can disregard human life so much. like man it's one thing when you look at monarchs centuries ago who literally did not understand that other people are just like them bc they were born to think so, but these politicians supposedly all started as normal people, yet it feels like they don't see anyone but themselves, and that's just insane to me. like i have met selfish or self centered people in my life but never at this level. i can't comprehend this. they are literally like evil cartoon villains it's actually insane

#not even talking abt the racism or homophobia here #genuinely how they disregard like. all citizens. including people like them including their own voters. they see all of us as disposable #it's insane to me that ppl still vote for them too actually but eh racists will vote for racists #and some ppl think we need a ~strong leader~ and unfortunately they are stupid so they think this guy who can give good speeches is enough #but see even stupidity i can sort of get. but our politicians are both stupid (well. most of them) AND inhumanly selfish #which is why this is so despair inducing. literally nothing anyone would say or so could get to them. bc they don't see us as people #even the fucking. un can't threaten them (bc lbr the ones getting punished are the citizens. again)#genuinely the only solution is murder. for legal reasons this is a joke. good evening shabak agents i am a satire account etc #this is so upsetting i can't think abt the situation in this country without feeling doomed #and this is only one layer of it too. everything here sucks so much. i wish i was born somewhere else ugh #politics //#vent #kinda?????#ask to tag

I've been in a fandom for quite some time now where there used to be a fan who was a professional body language expert. They taught us a lot about what to look for in photos like this and I have to say it's clear as day that M and AL can barely tolerate being near each other while M and D are exhibiting signs of strong physical and emotional closeness and attraction. Who knows what goes on in their lives behind closed doors but this is what we can see from all of these pics and videos.

Anna especially looks so uncomfortable. As a couple they never look quite right. The age difference for one looks too pronounced. Michael looks like her father! I know they have two daughters but I still really can't see them going the distance. Anna's dress is gorgeous, though, and she looks stunning. Their vibes are just so off though. I can only really say that here. In most SM places you get slaughtered for any Anna negativity. Same with Georgia!😳

@impalationship Oh, wow. That is very interesting, and I appreciate you sharing those observations about Michael and AL vs. Michael and David. I think many of us have wondered what a body language professional would have to say about their body language, and so I am wondering if this expert has ever shared anything about "tells" (i.e., small gestures or signs that give away what a person is truly feeling). If so, would you be able to share those/what sort of "tells" you think Michael and David are giving off? I know deciphering subtle body language cues has never been my forte, so your insights are certainly fascinating.

To your comment, @rainbowposes, I agree with you about the vibes between Michael and AL being off. I've said this previously, but for me it's never been about the age gap (although I find that the legitimitiate criticisms many of us have are decried and often chalked up solely to that). It's the "everything else" gap that is so noticeable, IMO. It's that Michael and AL have nothing in common except for the kids. It's that neither one of them "lights up" around the other, and that the normally ever-present twinkle in Michael's eye disappears when he is with her. I'm genuinely at a loss for how Anna in particular seems so uncomfortable holding her own boyfriend's hand and looks like she would rather be anywhere and doing anything else instead. I'm also floored at the disconnect happening with the fans on Twitter saying how happy they both look, as at this point it seems like willfully ignoring everything that is actually happening in those pictures.

I'm glad you felt comfortable sharing your thoughts here, though. Going by the sheer volume of comments on both of these posts, a lot of other people feel similarly. Truthfully, I've never seen this many comments of people speaking honestly about what they are seeing in the last four years. I'm not sure what exactly has caused the change, except that what's plainly obvious apparently can no longer be overlooked. So interesting...

I like having Sun and Monty hang out it is really weird having them talk in a friendly manner and not trading insults or Monty trying to extort money from Sun and Moon. Lunar sleeping in the box room is priceless, and I want to see the inside of the Nutella room. And now on to the big thing I want to talk about

Monty wants to ask Earth's hand in marriage!!!!!

I love how Sun and Lunar were just like WHAT?!

I do agree with them. Wait, maybe at least a few more months or another Year Monts, but I also get where he's coming from they are all dealing with so much and could die at any minute. Why wait? But also, Monty, I'm pretty sure you still have plot armor. You'll be fine. You can wait maybe another eight months or another year. But none the less, I'm mega happy for them!

Also, did anyone else think Sun had some hesitation giving Monty his blessing, or when Monty told them that he wanted to marry Earth, Sun was a little hesitant about it. Obviously, Sun isn't Monty's biggest fan like at all. So, for a minute, he was probably thinking, "aaahhh, do I really want to be related to this guy?"

Love the hesitation there, Sun. What would have happened if he told him no? That would have been a sight to see. Sun just says no, and it starts a Sun v Monty arc? Or maybe an Earth v Sun arc?! All I'm saying would have been a sight to see.

Can't wait to see what will happen if Monty asks Moon and Solar about this.

So, GR! Ballora is trying to make some friends. Huh, I wonder why no one wants to be your friend? HMMMM? I really wonder why?! 😑😑😑

Someone take away the blueprints to that thing! No one should have this! It causes more trouble than it solves! But it is Eclipse, so what do I expect?

The ending was cute. Puppet got to have a little girls' night with GR! Ballora and Monty. Never would've taken GR! Ballora as a Deadpool and Wolverine fan kinda love that.

Related is how #his greatest discomfort is people standing behind him. You know. where he can't see them.#Also most Uchiha characters having common motif threads related to their eyes.#In Madara's case they're tied specifically to how he'd like to have full awareness and understanding of what's around him; and by extension #he'd like to have a measure of influence over them.#Something standing where he can't see it though he knows it's there is the most vulnerable position he can imagine himself in.#In multiple different ways! In this particular panel it's mostly related to trust and emotional vulnerability.#Which is a very fun character trait to have when you grow up in the conceiling yourself and backstabbing profession #And you are also very fatalistic and under the impression that people just can't change #you WOULD think the only solution would be if everyone could just magically rip themselves open

yknow when my therapist closed last week's session with a "so next week is the election please talk to me before considering dying" talk I kinda brushed it off but now it's two days away and there it is, that funny feeling once again.
