i love when parents blame teachers for things that aren’t their fault. i have a kiddo who recently had a tooth abscess and it turns out she had 6 cavities. 6! and the mom goes “please stop feeding her candy at school” like girl…we rarely give the kids candy. this little one comes in with sugar filled lunches, and almost zero protein sources. her mother sent her in with a large iced coffee this morning 💀 she’s literally 6 years old. teachers aren’t to blame for that one. that’s your fault as the parent.

by far the worst job I’ve had was working in the Sam’s club cafe (if you don’t know what Sams club is, or don’t have one near you, it’s kinda like a Costco) Literally the only job I quit after one fucking day. They trained me on the busiest day of the week, and I say “trained” extremely fucking lightly. (Didn’t teach me how to make pizzas, pretzels or really any hot food, also showed me the register once and they got annoyed I didn’t pick up right away) I was working register and had to rush to wash my hands, put on gloves, and rush forth and forth to get people their food too because they only had me and two other girls there and they were making pizzas, so almost everything else was on me. When I first clocked in, some dude came up to yell about a hot dog I didn’t even make. I had people being impatient and giving me attitude for taking so long, which really fucked with me since I have bad social anxiety and I’m a people pleaser. When I got home I cried the whole night and the next morning I called and lied about having to quit because I was gonna move, I even cried on the phone call because I felt like a failure and was embarrassed I quit after one day.
