After reading your comments now I'm even more excited to read the epilogue!
She's a real sweetheart, right? Writing someone who wants to work with little kids, I wanted to write a young woman who isn't without her flaws, but really embodied that kind, nurturing nature that makes for great elementary school teachers. 💗 (And the kind of inner goodness that I think Dean would find endearing too.)
I love hunter!readers, but the soft!readers really have my heart. Not that a hunter!reader couldn't be soft per say, but I just love how cutesy she is.
Buuuuut maybe he should've asked Dean if it was really ok if he pursued the reader before he stepped in. Maybe as his friend, he should've asked Dean what the hell he was doing with Lisa when the reader really needed him right now lol. Maybe that would've been the wake-up call Dean needed to get his shit together and realize he didn't really truly love Lisa. 🤔
You're so right. Benny should have asked more questions!! Benny should have had the talk with Dean and if he is Dean's best friend he should have known. It kinda makes it sadder though. But I'll bet the epilogue kinda explains that a bit too 🥰 But at the same time yes, Benny was a good guy for stepping up and stepping in.
Ahaha yes!! I knew you would catch that! Oh yeah, but that's the kind of mistake a man not used to little kids would make, I feel like 🤣
It really is. I bet that Ben/Soldier Boy would let his kid watch something too soon and then live with the consequences when he can't have sex with the reader for a month because the kid sleeps in the bed with them 🤣
I knowwww I'm sorry I almost killed Dean, but this is the first of many wake-up calls for both Dean and reader. 😭😭
Don't be sorry, near-death experiences that make people realize they love one another is the kind of angst I live for LOL
I tried to do something different with this story and make it feel more realistic, with no real "villain," except that we can hurt the people we love the most unintentionally with our actions and inaction. What we say, and sometimes more importantly, what we don't say.
It really was wonderfully realistic- all the emotions all the drama, it was beautiful! I also think that it resonates more that way- making it about the internal and external struggle with relationships rather than some big-bad to fight. Because sometimes the big-bad is the little voice inside that makes you push everything down or sometimes the big-bad is you? If that makes sense lol.
Oh you saw that, huh? 😂 Yeah, I think you remember that turned into a fun "anonymous" ask in my inbox asking why I was so "defensive" when people criticized my work. I typically have thick skin and was ready to forget the comments entirely, but when that "ask" came in it really annoyed me, not gonna lie. lol I probably should've just ignored the inbox message and deleted it, rather than spend more time and energy on replying to someone whose mind likely isn't going to be changed on how they talk to writers, regardless. 😂 I get that this AU story was "different," and messy with these relationships, but that was kind of the point. Bless you though for your thoughtful and heartwarming feedback regarding the Lisa and Benny storylines! 💗💗💗
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that happened when I was in my two weeks off period 😅 But I don't think it's so much as you not having 'thick skin' or being 'defensive'- I see it more as you being open to the criticism, but them not giving you anything constructive. If someone says 'oh that's stupid' but then don't tell you why, it becomes more about the writer than what they wrote.
But oh yeah no. The fact that they felt the need to also send in an ask criticizing you even more is just uncalled for. I don't blame you for answering it, it would have annoyed me too- especially because lately I feel like the meaner anons think they're helping writers by being super rude?
Yes exactly! The AU is "different!" It's more about the relationships and drama and miscommunication! (slightly mad at you for that last one jkjk 🤣) AU's are supposed to be different, that's literally it- alternate universe. Which is why they didn't like it, because they didn't understand it. 😬
But you're welcome! I really did enjoy it and I'll bet the epilogue is going to be amazing! 💗

Part 2: It’s Now or Never
At the doctor’s office, Dean goes in with you for the first trimester ultrasound. There you learn that you’re going to have a boy. Tears well up in your eyes and slip down your cheeks.
Dean wears a look of amazement as he sits on the edge of your bed. He takes up your hand and squeezes gently. He tries to be a strong support, even though he also tries to hide the fear that begins to churn in his gut.
For one of the first times in his life since Sam was born, he feels the weight of responsibility pressing down on him. In a good way. In a fucking scary way.
He looks at you and sees the wonder written across your face while you watch the tiny shape of your baby on the screen. His heartbeat thwaps fast and loud in the speakers.
Dean realizes something else then; the decision you're making is changing the course of your whole damn life…and it’s his fault.
With his weekly hookup rate, in the very back shelves of his mind he knew something like this could happen, even though he thought he'd been careful. (Apparently, condoms are fragile little shits.) But here, in this white wall-to-wall room that smells like hospital antiseptic, that thwap thwap thwap of a heartbeat reverberating in his ears, the reality of this is crashing hard on his shoulders and rattling down to the base of his spine.
Despite his earlier happiness, those thoughts stay with him when you two eventually get back into his car. You have the pictures of the sonogram in your hands. You smile down at them before you put them back in your purse for safekeeping.
However, you notice Dean’s sudden melancholy as he stares out at the road. He’s started the car, but he hasn’t moved to pull out of the parking lot yet.
“Hey, you okay?” you say, resting a gentle hand on his arm.
Dean shakes his head. “Look…I’m sorry for tossing a giant friggin’ monkey wrench into your life. I know this hasn’t been easy for you.”
If possible, your heart softens even more. You slide your hand down to grasp his.
“Dean, this baby wasn’t planned, but he’s not a mistake,” you say. “I don’t regret anything.”
Dean stares back at you, incredulously. He can’t believe you could really say that to him. He doesn’t know what to say. He only knows what’s in his mind, and what he feels compelled to do in that moment.
He leans over and kisses you. It’s a firm meeting of his lips to yours and achingly familiar. But ultimately, it’s chaste. He pulls away and settles back in his seat.
When you blink your eyes back open, your expression is slack in shock.
“I’m sorry,” he says, seeming sheepish, and guilty. “I meant to say thank you. Just didn’t know any other way to say it.”
After a moment, you smile at him. It’s warm and almost shy.
Dean clears his throat, trying to ignore the way his face is heating up. He doesn’t say anything more. He just takes the wheel and shifts gears, pulling the car out of the parking lot.

You don’t know what possesses you to bake cookies. Dozens and dozens of them, all the chocolate chip cookie recipes you can find. You’re in search of the perfect one. This will be the recipe your son will grow up on, and every time he eats them, he’ll remember how much you loved him.
And then, he’ll be ruined for any other chocolate chip cookies that try to grab his taste buds. He’ll say, Blech. Chips Ahoy? These aren’t as good as Mom makes!
…Or something like that.
Yes, these cookies have to be perfect. You’ll even write the ingredients down on a notecard and hide it away, and it’ll become your family secret recipe.
Once you feel like your cookie game is strong enough, you decide to test these babies out. You bring two dozen painstakingly baked confections to Firehouse 83, where Dean works. The man is a bottomless pit, to be sure, but you also want other people’s unbiased opinions. For science.
You park your car on the side of the road, making sure you’re not blocking the driveway where two huge fire trucks are parked. You head inside the firehouse with your big container under your arm and your purse on the other. Now at seven months into your pregnancy, you’ve gotten to the embarrassing “waddle” stage.
You’re still determined to be active though! You plan to keep working until you have the baby. Your parents live a few hours away, but you’re grateful that they want to help out as much as possible.
Even though they weren’t happy to hear about how you got pregnant, by now they've met Dean and begrudgingly admitted to liking him. He's really stepped up to the responsibility of a future father, insisting on baby-proofing your apartment, helping you shop for the essentials, and going with you to as many doctor’s appointments as he can. He’s even agreed to giving you child support payments, even though you hadn’t wanted to ask for it.
You look for him now as you enter the firehouse, trying to push the heavy glass door open with one hand.
“Here, I got you,” says a familiar baritone voice.
You’re pleasantly surprised at the man who helps you inside.
“Benny! It’s good to see you.”
“Yeah, been…a while,” he chuckles, glancing down at the swell of your belly, but he squeezes your shoulder and leans in to hug you gently.
“Dean filled you in?” you ask. You hope so. Having to explain the story to one of his own friends would be embarrassing, especially since this is the man you walked in Sam’s wedding with. It reminds you of that day, and the way you told Dean that news in a glorified closet, with shaking hands and the wrong kind of butterflies.
Thankfully, Benny nods. “That he did…but come on, I’ll show you around. And I see you’ve brought somethin’ special for us?”
He gestures at the container you're holding and offers to take it off your hands. You give it to him, grateful for the help.
“Yeah, and I want you guys to give me your honest opinion.”
Benny tosses you a wink and a smile. “That I can do.”
Your cheeks begin to warm in a blush, but the way he helps you to a comfy couch in the common room earns your smile. There are still good men left in this world, and you’re glad to know that Dean works so well with one.
“You want some coffee, or water? Think we might have some lemonade,” Benny says.
“Water would be great, thank you,” you reply, as you rub your belly. The little man has decided to kick at your liver today. “I stopped drinking coffee for the baby. ”
It's your biggest challenge, to be honest. Try wrangling a group of fifteen to twenty six-year-olds while running on green tea, the fumes of sleep deprivation, reduced bladder control, and as much vim as you can muster.
“Ah, right,” Benny nods. “My sister has two kids. She cut out coffee, pain meds, some dairy stuff. But she claimed cheesecake was all right, ‘cause it’s got cake in the name.”
You giggle. “I see no flaw in her logic.”
Tumblr media
Down the hall of the firehouse, Dean is just coming back in from going through a set of drills. He’s still the Candidate—the freshest blood in the house—so they’ve been putting him through his paces for the past several months. He’s eager to learn and to prove himself.
His ears perk up in confusion though. Did he just hear your voice?
Why does it smell like a bakery in here?
When he rounds the corner, he sees you in the common room, smiling and giggling like a teenager at something Benny said to you while he eats a soft baked cookie right out of a Tupperware container. You must’ve brought it for the firehouse.
This cozy little scene kind of annoys Dean somehow, though he doesn’t know why. He does know that it shouldn’t.
“Hey, look who’s here,” Dean says, forcing himself to smile. It becomes easier when you look his way, your eyes brightening at his arrival.
“There you are! Come ‘ere and try these,” you say, pointing at the box Benny holds. “Tell me if our son’s going to have the best PTA mom ever.”
Dean can’t help but grin after trying a big bite of one of your cookies.
“Oh, mah Gah,” he says, holding a hand under his mouth so nothing comes crumbling out.
“Good?” you ask.
“Good friggin’ cookie,” he confirms, after he swallows. “You’re gonna have the other parents frothing at the mouth. Who’s gonna be able to compete with this?”
Benny nods in agreement. When Dean squeezes your shoulder, your sweet, happy smile makes him smile too.
She’s going to be a good mom, he thinks. He can only hope against hope that he can be the man his son needs.

Two months later, the time has finally come. Your water breaks when you’re in the middle of teaching your second graders how to spell exaggerate—and no, Joey, it’s not e-g-g-zagerate.
However, the embarrassment of him pointing out the fluid beginning to stain your slacks is swiftly cut off by your shock. Your first call is to the principal, to have her send someone to cover your class. Your next call is to Dean, telling him to meet you at the hospital.
“Why the hell did he have to bring her,” you mutter to yourself, wiping sweat from your brow. Here you are, gritting your teeth through contraction after contraction in this damn hospital bed, and Dean is outside the room talking to Lisa.
You know you have no real reason to be upset. She’s been trying her best to be your friend in recent months. Hell, she helped Eileen and your mom plan your baby shower. She even brought you flowers when she got to the hospital, but you notice how less than five minutes after she got here, she and Dean became embroiled in yet another argument. It seems to you that all they do is argue, break up for a week or two, and then get back together again.
The sex must be explosive, like the fireworks at goddamn Disney World.
But Dean eventually does come back into the room alone. His support grounds you over the next few hours. He lets you basically break his hand, all while he gives you encouragement (and stands by your shoulder, so he doesn’t see anything you’d rather him not see).
And then, your son is born. Every muscle, every cell in your body is exhausted, but the pain meds have kicked in, and you’re in that blissed out state between abject reality and being entirely entranced by the bundle in your arms. His perfect face is just there, sleeping for the moment after the nurses taught you how to breastfeed.
Dean returns to sit in the chair beside you. He gives you some water and a piece of a protein bar. You’re not that hungry, but he pointed out that you haven’t eaten since before your water broke.
“Sam and Eileen are on their way up,” he says.
You nod in reply. You’re too into your son right now to think of anything else.
Dean shakes his head in wonder as he reaches out with a tentative hand, brushing his fingers over the baby’s downy head. He was born with a little tuft of brown hair.
“Okay, down to business,” Dean says, shooting you a playful look. “I vote for Zeppelin.”
You groan. “Dean, no. Veto. I’m not naming my son after a rock band.”
“Aw, come on. It’s a badass name!”
“What about Aiden?” you suggest.
“Veto,” he snorts. You two agreed to getting five “vetos” each, but this discussion has been more like a battle of wills over the last several months.
“Okay, what about Daniel? That’s strong, classic,” you pose.
Dean considers it with a tilt of his head. “All right, that one’s a maybe.”
Again, he strokes the baby’s soft cheek. You look over at Dean with a small smile.
“You’re going to be a good dad, you know,” you tell him. It earns his gaze. Although he’s trying to stay strong, you read the hidden insecurity there, the worry and fear. You rest a hand on his arm. “You are, Dean. You’re a good man, and you’ve really stepped up these past few months. This obviously isn’t how either of us thought our lives would go, but if this had to happen with someone, I’m glad it’s you.”
Dean’s expression softens. He hesitates, but he lays a hand over yours and squeezes gently.
“Thanks,” he says.
Your eyes meet, and it’s a moment charged with something you can’t even name. It’s not the first time you’ve felt this feeling with him. It both fills your heart with warmth, and makes you ache.
Then the door opens. It’s Lisa, Sam, and Eileen. Dean’s hand slips away from yours as they all pour in to congratulate you and Dean, and of course, meet the baby. There’s a lot of soft cooing and playful shushing.
In that small chaos, your parents call to tell you that they’re finally almost here. It really sucked not having your mom with you, but your parents live far enough away that they were going to take a train and stay with you for at least a week. Their train unfortunately got delayed due to mechanical failure.
It's okay though. Getting through the past several hours has made you realize that you’re stronger and more capable than you think, and even though part of you is still scared to death, you don’t need a husband to be a good mom. You’re going to give this your all, no matter who’s beside you…
And that's no more apparent than when Dean soon has to step out again, leading Lisa out of the room. He saw how her “helpful” suggestion to have a get-together at their apartment to celebrate the baby’s birth was setting you on edge. Really, you just want to sleep for the next 24-hours and not have any more pictures of you taken.
It gets loud enough outside your hospital room that Sam and Eileen feel they have to intervene. Lisa is Eileen’s best friend, and she’s the best equipped to try and deescalate the argument from that end, while Sam deals with Dean. It’s messy, it’s irritating, and it means that even today, you can’t just have a little bit of peace.
You sigh and cradle your still nameless baby close to your chest. He’s all that matters. Already, your heart is so damn full just taking him in.
“What’s your name, my little love?” you whisper. “What am I going to write on your certificate, besides Winchester?”
“How about Benjamin,” comes a Louisiana drawl.
You perk up and smile in surprise. “Benny, hey.”
He greets you with a slightly hesitant kiss on the cheek. He’s brought the baby an adorable teddy bear, and you a beautiful bouquet of white and blue roses, along with a box of chocolates.
“It’s the assorted kind, but they’ve got plenty of the caramel ones you like,” he says, then gazes down at the baby. “Aw, he’s a little charmer. Already got more of you than Dean, that’s for sure.”
You laugh lightly at his teasing. “I don’t know about that.” You hope your son inherits Dean’s strong jaw, and his green eyes.
Benny scratches the back of his head. “Also…sorry if I’m crossing some kind of boundary here. Looks like it’s a bit of a circus outside.”
You shake your head and smile through burgeoning tears. You set the chocolates on the end table where he’s placed the flowers and the teddy bear.
“No, it’s very sweet. Thank you,” you say. You glance out the window of your room to the hallway, where the arguing between Dean, Lisa, Sam, and Eileen seems to finally be calming down. You’re so damn tired, you don’t give a crap about whatever they’re hashing out now.
You look down at your son, and despite your strong thoughts earlier, insecurity begins to creep back into your mind like inky claws.
“How are you holding up?” Benny asks. His face is kind and concerned when he notes the change in you.
You meet him with a wobbly smile. “Honestly? I’m afraid. I know I have a lot of people who want to support me, and I’m grateful, but…I just have this terrible feeling that we’re going to end up alone, him and me.”
You look down at your son, and you have to wipe away a tear from your eye before it falls on his face.
A large, warm hand rests over yours. Your gaze raises slowly, and Benny smiles at you. He’s serious though.
“Don’t you worry about that,” he says. “You’re not gonna be alone.”
Tumblr media
FIVE YEARS LATER...
For all that changes, there are some things that stay the same.
Dean and Lisa are still the world’s most “off again, on again” couple you’ve ever met. Sam and Eileen are still going strong as the hardworking, driven career couple. Your son is growing more and more every day and just started kindergarten this year.
(You ultimately caved on Dean’s idea to name him Robert, as in Robert Plant, lead singer of Led Zeppelin.)
Oh, yeah, and the “you and Benny” thing? That’s been going well for two years now.
What can you say? The man is persistent, but respectfully so. He’s considerate, reliable, and always calls you when work at the firehouse has him running late.
You haven’t yet invited him to move in with you. That part you’re still hesitant on, mostly because of your son, but Benny helps you drop off Robbie at school and makes breakfast for you all whenever he stays over your apartment. Benny takes an interest in your son’s life and keeps up with all his energy, taking him to the park to run himself ragged before dinner, and helping you tuck him in at night.
Benny is a bit closed off though, the strong stoic type. He’s hard for you to get a read on, and sometimes you wonder if he’s just indulging you when you ramble on about your day or make silly jokes. Even now, sometimes you withhold the first thought that comes to your mind, hoping he doesn’t think you immature or…too much.
But Benny shows his caring in all those little things he does for you. They add up into the big things, and he makes you feel supported. He makes you feel safe.
He even helps you plan your son’s fifth birthday. Robbie wanted to go all out on a dinosaur theme; he’s been hooked on Jurassic Park ever since Benny “accidentally” let him watch it with him on one of your rare nights out with your friends.
So you set up a little party at the park by your apartment. You managed to reserve the biggest gazebo, where there are three picnic tables covered with dinosaur plates, and tablecloths, streamers in different shades of green. You even bought a big dinosaur cake—also in a radioactive green color that you hadn’t been sure about, but your son talked you into. Robbie thinks it’s awesome.
He’s running around on the playground with a few of his friends from school. Their parents (along with Sam, Eileen, and Lisa) are talking amongst themselves at one of the picnic tables while you try to figure out how to get the Bluetooth speaker to connect with your phone.
“Haha! Got it. If you're so smart, Alexa, why don't you connect on the first try?” You fist-pump the air triumphantly, just as Benny comes to your side. He wraps an arm around your waist and kisses your cheek, making you smile.
“How’s it going out there?” you ask, nodding at the kids. Plus Dean, who’s gamely been the one to keep them entertained with different games. Right now, it’s a thrilling game of Cowboys and Outlaws, where Robbie and his friends are the cowboys, and Dean is the outlaw. He’s been hiding under the slide, behind trees and other playground fixtures, while the kids have little squirt guns to pelt him with water every time they find him.
It's pretty damn cute, and you’ve been taking pictures. You smile at the sight of Dean leaping out at Robbie and the kids, catching them off guard.
“You’ll never take me alive, Sheriff!” Dean declares.
“Oh, it’s goin’,” Benny remarks with an amused shake of his head. “Still hard to believe that guy’s about to make it to Lieutenant.”
“Hahaaa, gotcha!!” Dean cackles. He’s grabbed up Robbie and yanked him over his shoulder in a fireman’s carry. Robbie screeches with laughter while his dad runs around the playground, being chased by a bunch of five-year-olds with squirt guns.
Your smile threatens to make your cheeks hurt. You know your life is…unconventional, to say the least, but Dean is a good father to your son. He’s also been working hard at his job. He just took the Lieutenant’s test, and even though Benny already occupies that position at Firehouse 83, a spot at another firehouse might open up for Dean to transfer.
“Part of me doesn’t want to,” Dean admitted to you last week, while he was working on fixing your stubborn, leaky sink. “All the guys there, they’re like family, you know?” “I understand,” you nodded. “You have to do what feels best for you, whether that’s staying where you feel comfortable, or moving up in your career somewhere else. If it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it.” He took in your advice with a slow nod. “Yeah, thanks. Guess I have to time to think about it. Lisa had other ideas.” “Of course,” you said with a smile, but it soon dropped. “Why, what did she say?” “Do what I can to move up,” he sighed. “She’s got a point. That title comes with a pay bump, one I could really use right now.” “I get that. Totally valid,” you said. “But I just think it’s important for you to be happy with it too. Especially with what you do, helping people, saving people…I’d imagine being in the right mindset for all that is important, right? Who you work with can be just as important as the money stuff.” Dean considered you with a smile. “Yeah, exactly.”
As you think about it now, you have to admit that he’s grown up a lot.
Tumblr media
Dean has to lean against a tree to catch his breath. Am I already getting too old for this crap?
Feels kind of young to have a stitch in his side after a few rounds with these kids, but even he has his limits. Lisa comes to bring him a bottle of ice-cold water, which he appreciates. He’s tempted to dump it over his head like he does after successfully neutralizing a fire. It gets literally hot as hell under that helmet and mask and all his gear underneath.
“Need an iron lung?” Lisa teases.
“Toss in a new pair of knees, thanks,” he wheezes. He downs half the water bottle in one go, but he smiles at seeing his son keep running around with his friends. He’s just got that manic kid energy that goes on for days. But Robbie’s also smart; like Dean, he likes taking things apart and putting them back together in new and ingenious ways.
Dean hopes his son likes the new model car set that’s waiting for him on the picnic table full of presents. In fact, he’s still surprised that you didn’t go with the race car theme he suggested for the party, but apparently, Robbie’s more into dinosaurs now. Dean wishes he knew that before he bought the model car set.
He looks over and catches sight of you and Benny wrapped up in each other. He has his arm around your waist while you fiddle with something, but the way you lean over and whisper near his ear elicits a smile on Benny’s face.
Dean’s good mood diminishes.
“Well, don’t they seem cozy,” he mutters.
Lisa arches a manicured brow. “Yeah, pretty sure he’s getting ready to propose.”
That earns Dean’s attention, his head swiveling back to her in surprise.
“Really?” he asks. “Who told you that?”
“His sister,” she replies. “Meg’s in my intermediate class, remember?”
Dean nods, sipping at his water, even though he’s a bit absent in the eyes. Lisa watches him shrewdly.
“Why do you seem upset about it?” she asks. “Benny’s your friend.”
“I know,” Dean says. He doesn’t need that reminder, or the guilty twinge. It’s not like he’s done anything wrong.
“And she seems happy,” Lisa points out. “Don’t you want the mother of your kid to be with a good man who treats her right?”
He nods, trying to hide his growing annoyance. “‘Course I do. I just…I don’t know. I still don’t see them together, I guess.”
“Well, they’ve been together for like, two years.”
Again, Dean nods his acknowledgement. It’s hard for him to believe that so much time has passed already. He honestly didn’t think you and Benny would be together this long. He’d always felt a little uncomfortable with one of his best friends dating you, but you’d seemed happy about it, so he didn’t discourage it. But he’d never been very supportive, either. At least, not about your relationship.
Lisa sighs and grabs his arm, pulling him aside before he can rejoin the party.
“Listen, we need to talk about something,” she says.
Dean restrains a tired groan. “Can this wait ‘til later?”
“I think we should do this now,” she says. A hallmark Lisa-ism. She’s opinionated and strong-willed, something Dean’s always respected about her. Sometimes though, the timing is damn irritating. He doesn’t want to get into another argument with his girlfriend in public, especially not at his son’s birthday party.
“Speaking of commitment,” she says with a sigh. “I think it’s fair to say that we’ve been on a five-year rollercoaster, you and I. You know why that is?”
“I’m sure you’re gonna tell me,” Dean says, crossing his arms.
“It’s because you’re spread too thin,” she says. “Between the firehouse, construction jobs on the side…not to mention other things.”
“What? What’re you talking about?”
Lisa’s lips purse, before she pointedly gestures over at you with her eyes. “Well, for example. You’re still going to her place after your next shift to fix her fridge, right?”
“Yeah, I mean, should be pretty simple. I’ve just gotta swing by the hardware store and grab this specialty tool I ordered—”
“Dean,” Lisa deadpans. “That’s exactly the kind of thing I’m talking about.”
She heaves a deep breath, running her fingers through her long brown hair.
“I get that navigating this situation hasn’t been easy for you,” she says. “It hasn’t exactly been easy for me either, but look.”
Lisa takes his hands in hers, uncrossing his arms. “I want to get married someday. I want kids too. And I want that kind of life with you…I’m just not sure you want it with me.”
Dean expels a heavy sigh. “Lis—”
“Don’t answer me right now,” she says, but she levels him with a serious look. “You need to decide though, Dean. Five years is long enough. You should know by now if you want to be with me.”
After letting go of his hands, she softens the edges of her words with a gentle kiss on his cheek. Then she turns to join the group now gathered around the picnic table where the food is, all the kids cheering for pizza and cake.
Tumblr media
After the party, Sam, Eileen, Lisa, and Benny pack up their cars and yours with the leftover food, party supplies, and presents. Dean helps you clean up the trash, all while keeping an eye on Robbie getting out the last of his sugar-high on the playground swing.
You shake your head tiredly, if with a fond smile. “That kid’s gonna be up all night hype on that radioactive cake.”
Dean chuckles. “You want me to take him tonight?”
“It’s okay. I think he’s going to want to play with his toys,” you reply.
“Well, he could just as easily do that at my place,” he reasons.
You consider it, but you shake your head. “Yeah, but we got him the bike. He’s probably gonna want to try it out for a few minutes before we get him cleaned up.”
“By ‘we,’ you mean you and Benny,” Dean says, his tone becoming surly. “And about that. Don’t you think a bike is something you should run by me? That’s typically a ‘dad’ kind of gift.”
You pause what you’re doing at the sound of his tone. Your brows knit together.
“Sorry, but I feel like a bike isn’t exclusively a dad thing,” you say.
“My dad got me my first bike,” Dean replies. “Spent a whole three days teaching me how to ride.”
You take a minute to think about it. You understand where Dean’s coming from, so you nod.
“Okay, I get it. You want to be there to help teach Robbie? I’m sure he’d love that.”
Dean tosses a wadded-up ball of frosting-covered napkins and stops, letting his hands fall to his sides in frustration. He draws closer and helps you untie the balloons from the picnic table.
“Yeah, I do, but that’s not the point,” he says. “Why can’t I take him home tonight?”
You blink up at him in confusion. “Well, like I said. The bike—”
“That I should’ve gotten for him,” he snaps. “Which, let me guess, Benny picked out. Right?”
You frown at him in earnest now. “Dean, why are you getting so upset about it? It’s just a bike.”
“Well you know what, it’s not! And it’s not just the damn bike either.” He swipes a hand over his face in annoyance, a telltale sign you’ve come to read well on the man. “Look, I’m missing too much shit, all right? Like, like the dinosaur thing! And the fact that I only get him on the weekends.”
You turn toward him, trying to put a cap on your own annoyance. This isn’t the first time you two have had a conversation like this.
“We’ve gone over this before, Dean. Your schedule at the firehouse is just too unpredictable,” you say. “Robbie needs as much stability as possible between us. But…okay, if you want to take him tonight, that’s fine. We can bring the bike over to your place and show it to him there.”
You’re trying to be as reasonable as possible, and Dean knows that. Still, anger prickles just under his skin, and he can’t help but push his luck.
“You still should’ve asked be before you got the bike in the first place,” he argues.
Your brows raise high. “Excuse me?”
“You heard me.”
“Look, it’s not like we bought him a Honda Civic. Honestly, Dean, why are you picking a fight with me right now?” you ask. “Did you and Lisa get into it again or something?”
Dean looks away and crosses his arms, giving you all the confirmation you need.
“Yeah, that’s right,” you nod. “I saw you two over there on the playground, looked pretty heated. But do me a favor. Don’t come at me with that energy, because I’m too damn tired of it!”
When you walk away from him, Dean can’t help but stare after you. He knows he fucked that up, just as he knows that you don’t deserve him snapping at you. He’s just too irritated to admit it.
Tumblr media
For the entire week that follows, Dean finds himself distracted. He sticks to his word and helps Benny teach his son how to ride a bike in between their shifts at the firehouse, but Dean comes home each night feeling even more frustrated and drained than before. It’s too much, knowing Benny’s slowly but surely carving out a father-figure role in Robbie’s life.
These thoughts follow Dean to work, even while he climbs up the firetruck ladder in the rain. It’s parallel to a busted utility pole that still sparks with electricity, even in this torrential downpour. His task is to get up to the top and grab a large branch that’s tangled in the lines.
Rung after rung, he climbs. His safety mask protects his eyes from the rain, but he wishes they had some mini windshield wipers to keep his vision clear of the droplets pelting him in the face.
He also can’t help thinking of you. If Lisa’s right, then Benny’s about to become a more permanent fixture in Robbie’s life, and yours.
Okay fine. It’s not like Dean expected you to be single forever, but did you really have to get with one of his best friends? Does it really have to be Benny, who seems so natural with Robbie, and more patient than Dean, and more of a support to you and Robbie than Dean can ever be?
And then there’s Lisa’s little ultimatum. He understands why she’s frustrated with him. Honestly, he’s surprised she’s stuck around this long. He knows she’s not going to wait too much longer for him to get his act together. For him to decide, as she put it.
It’s not that he’s not sure about her, it’s just that…
Just that what? he wonders.
He manages to grab the wily tree branch and maneuver it out of the power lines.
He just doesn’t realize that his glove doesn’t have quite enough friction on the metal side panel of the ladder. Not only does his hand slip, but he’s forced to let go of the branch while he loses his balance. The branch falls to the sidewalk, far, far down below.
“Dean!” Benny shouts in alarm.
Luckily, the truck itself breaks Dean's fall.

Holding Robbie’s hand tightly in yours is the only thing keeping you steady as you lead him through the hospital. After the receptionist had checked you both in and gave you the room number, you hastened down the hall and up to the right floor. 2005.
Robbie breaks into tears when he finally gets to see his dad, laid up though he is in his hospital bed. Your throat tightens at the sight of Dean hooked up to all those monitors. He has his arm wrapped up and fitted into a sling. He has a thick piece of gauze taped to the side of his face, covering a wide, angry abrasion, but he seems to be resting easy on his back. The bed is at an incline, with most of the overhead lights turned off.
Robbie rushes to the bed before you can stop him. He hesitantly touches Dean’s non-injured right hand. “Daddy?”
“Robbie, wait,” you say, keeping your voice quiet. You quickly go over to the bedside and grab ahold of Robbie’s shoulders, but Dean takes a deep breath. His eyelids crack open.
“Hey, buddy,” he says, attempting a smile. His voice is rough and weak, but at least he’s awake.
Robbie’s lower lip wobbles as tears fill his eyes again.
“Come ‘ere,” Dean says, a little stronger. When he reaches out to his son, the kid hops up onto the bed and buries his face into his father’s chest. Dean holds him as securely as he can, soothing his hand over the boy’s hair and pressing a kiss to the top of his head.
“It’s okay, little man. ‘M okay,” he promises. Robbie nods, but he still continues to cry.
You can’t help but do the same. Tears slip down your cheeks without your consent. Dean beckons you over too, gesturing with his chin and a slight smile. You’re more tentative in the way you sit down at the edge of his bed. You run your fingers through Robbie’s light brown hair to help reassure him. Then, you meet Dean’s gaze and lay a hand on his good shoulder. You don’t know whether you’re steadying him, or yourself.
“How do you feel?” you ask. “The hospital called me. Benny told me what happened.”
The thought reminds you to text your boyfriend. You hadn’t had a chance to tell him you made it here yet. He must be downstairs grabbing a bite to eat, because he’s the one who rode with Dean in the ambulance and has been with him for a while.
“The hospital called you?” Dean notes in slight confusion.
“Eileen told me that Sam is in court right now, so I must’ve been next on the list,” you say. He also must have taken Lisa off his emergency list the last time they broke up for almost a month. He probably forgot to update it again.
You reach out a hand to almost touch the bandage by his temple. Instead, you hesitantly hold the side of his face to see the area better. Dean closes his eyes for a moment. You can see he’s in pain. Your hand lingers on his cheek, but you know, deep down, that it shouldn’t.
Dean doesn’t stop you though. He lets out a deep breath, savoring how nice the gentle touch feels when the rest of his body feels battered to hell.
“Fell off the ladder. Was a stupid rookie move,” he explains, but when he sees that look on your face, he tries to inject a little more joking into a smile. “S’ not so bad.”
“You could’ve broken your head as well as your arm,” you say, more sharply than you mean to.
Robbie whimpers and clings tighter to Dean. You cover your mouth, as if you can trap the words back inside. You don’t want to upset your son more than he already is, so you fall silent. Another tear works its way down your cheek, but you brush it away. Dean shakes his head.
“Hey, I’m okay,” he reassures you too. He manages to smile as he pats Robbie’s back. “Right, buddy?”
The boy’s head perks up. His eyes are still shiny, but he smiles too. He’s not one to speak when he’s upset though, so he just curls up against Dean’s chest and hangs onto him. Dean rests his good arm snugly around him.
You smile and stroke Robbie’s back. Though your hand lowers, resting on Dean’s hand. You take in a deep breath to calm yourself down. Dean’s fingers curl around yours, prompting you to glance up into his eyes. The way he’s watching you is soft, grateful.
Until the door creaks open. Benny steps in with a subtle clearing of his throat. You jolt internally, and you slip your hand away from Dean’s. You offer your boyfriend a wan smile.
“Hey,” you say.
“Hey, baby.” He comes over and greets you with a kiss to the side of your head. He smiles at your son gently. “The gang’s all here.”
“Oh! Let me call Sam, and Lisa too. They still don’t know what’s going on,” you say. You get up from the bed to grab your phone out of your purse. Dean nods in agreement and thanks you, while Robbie plays with his dad's long fingers.
“How you holdin’ up, brother?” Benny asks, after you step out of the room. He settles into the chair near the foot of the bed.
“Ah, you know me. I’m like a cat. Always stick the landing,” Dean says, smiling lazily. The morphine is starting to kick in again.
Benny smirks. “Maybe you do got nine lives, the amount of close calls you like gettin’ yourself into.”
Dean’s good humor fades. He considers his son in his arms, and he shakes his head.
“Yeah, well, no more,” he says. He got a taste of what it would be like to leave his boy behind, and he’s not fucking doing it. He’s not leaving you to raise Robbie by yourself. The mere idea tears a new hole in his heart.
His eyes sting just enough that he has to blink a bit harder, swallowing past a thick well of emotion in his throat. He presses another kiss to the top of Robbie’s head. Then, Dean meets Benny’s gaze.
“Thank you,” he says, and he means it.
Benny nods.
“You got it, brother.”

When Lisa steps off the hospital elevator on the second floor, you happen to be coming out of the bathroom to fix your racoon eyes. You’ve been crying way too much. You attempt to greet Lisa with something reassuring, but she cuts you off.
“What happened, and why didn’t the hospital call me directly?” she asks.
Her tone is cutting, and it takes you aback.
“Well, Sam and I were listed as his emergency contacts—”
“Why?” she snaps. “You’re not his wife or his girlfriend. I should’ve been listed.”
Jesus Christ. At this point, you can’t help it. You’re too tired and emotionally drained to lasso in your temper with this woman.
“Maybe if you and Dean stayed together longer than five minutes at a time, he’d put you back on the short list,” you sling back. “But the truth is, you’ve never just…been there for Dean. Not without demanding something from him.”
Lisa scoffs incredulously. “Oh, that’s fucking rich coming from you. You’re the reason he can’t commit to anything. You think your little world is the only one that matters, and you call Dean for any little thing! What, don’t you have a boyfriend to help fix your goddamn sink?”
You open your mouth to retort, but you pause as her words seep into your mind. She might actually have a small point about that one. You realize then just how often you’ve been asking Dean for his help, not just with your apartment, but with your car, and other logistical things that usually have to with Robbie. Dean’s just such a good handyman, and you thought he genuinely liked being able to help…even though Benny did mention once or twice that he’d be just as happy to help you.
“Lisa, this is a lot more than a leaky sink. I just wanted to get here with Robbie and make sure Dean was okay,” you try to explain.
“Good. I’m glad his son was the first person Dean got to see when he woke up,” Lisa says. “But I should’ve been the second.”
She brushes past you before you can even think of what to say. You’re in a state of shock, feeling guilty, incensed, and on the verge of tears all at once.
A familiar voice calls your name, and you turn to Benny just as those tears begin to fall. He gathers you up into his arms and holds you there in the middle of the hallway.
“She shouldn’t talk to you like that, no matter how high tensions are today. I’ll talk to Dean,” Benny says. You shake your head and bury your face in his chest, clenching your fingers in his red flannel shirt.
“No, it’s okay,” you reply, despite the sob that shudders through you. You’ve lost the will to fight.
Benny shakes his head and presses a kiss to your forehead. “It ain’t okay, baby.”
“Please, don’t bother Dean with this. Especially not right now,” you say. You take a moment to wipe your eyes and get ahold of yourself. “I’m gonna go get Robbie so Dean can rest.”
You can’t shake the feeling that Lisa is right. You do rely on Dean too much. You just don’t want to think about why that is.
Tumblr media
Dean makes a full recovery after a few months. He never does hear about what happened in that hallway, but he knows that things need to change.
He decides to dig out his mom’s engagement ring from a locked box of his parents’ keepsakes, though he’s still waiting on the right time for it. He and Lisa start looking at houses though, for real this time. She hires a realtor and everything.
He’s making a firm decision, and he thinks it’s the right one. He wants to be there for his son, but he doesn’t want to keep “spreading himself too thin.” He has to figure out how to set some roots, and some boundaries with you while he’s at it. He’ll just have to come to terms with the idea that he won’t get to be there for everything.
He has to be okay with the fact that you’ll probably marry Benny. You’ll keep making him cookies and cakes, giving him your smile and your time and your body. And Robbie will probably think of Benny as more of a father than his own Weekend Dad.
Meanwhile, you’ve spent the past few months keeping yourself in check as well. You’ve stopped calling Dean for help whenever something breaks down in your old-ass apartment. You try to keep your conversations less about life and troubles and whatever funny thing your students did that day in class, and more focused on Robbie–strictly about his schedule and his needs.
It’s kind of painful, if you’re honest with yourself. Sam will always be one of your closest friends from college, but in the past five years, Dean has truly become your best friend. Because you’ve told him things. The things that come from sharing a child with someone, like Sunday dinners with your parents, flipping through old yearbooks and childhood pictures—and the details of day-to-day schedules and little stupid things that happen in moments between moments.
Dean also knows the deep cuts. Like being pregnant and scared and breaking down crying on the side of the road. Like sharing the deepest well of your insecurities with someone who knows your body intimately, even if just for one amazing night...a night you’ve never quite been able to put out of your mind.
However, you know that things can’t stay the same. From now on, he just needs to be your son’s father. Nothing more, nothing less.
So today, on a crisp April 24th, you’re getting ready for a highly anticipated evening with your boyfriend. Robbie is sleeping over your parents’ house, and Benny has been planning something special for your third-year anniversary.
You slip into your new dress, a deep emerald green, with a pair of black heels you’ve rarely worn since before you got pregnant. Come to think of it, you were wearing these the night of Sam and Eileen’s bachelor-bachelorette party. The night youwell, the night Robbie was conceived.
You shake your head to rid yourself of those thoughts. You even consider changing.
You’re being silly, you shake your head. They’re just shoes.
And yet. Thinking of that time so long ago, it reminds you of a recent Sunday dinner at your parents’ house.
Tumblr media
Two Months Ago...
Your parents live modestly, but comfortably in rural Kansas. Their ranch-style home boasts a creek in the backyard, where your dad is teaching your son how to catch minnows. Your mom is inside working on an apple pie, knowing it’s both Dean’s and Robbie’s favorite.
You and Dean have kept close to the house under the shade, sitting on a bench made more comfortable by a pair of old polyester cushions with red, faded flowers.
“How much longer do you have to wear that?” you ask Dean. He glances down at his cast-covered left arm.
“Doc says it’s about ready to come off,” he says.
You nod, allowing yourself a certain smile. “How bad are you itching to grab my mom’s garden shears and cut it off right here?”
“Woman, don’t tempt me,” he says, his lips twitching at a grin. “I’ve been eying those overgrown scissors for the past half hour.”
You laugh and take another sip of your glass. Yours holds sweet tea, while Dean’s has some of your dad’s favorite whiskey. You both raise your heads when Robbie yells across the backyard.
“I caught a minnow!”
“Good job, buddy,” Dean grins. “See if you can catch a marlin!”
“A marlin?” Robbie questions.
“Yeah, like that orange guy in Finding Nemo,” Dean calls back.
Your dad gives Dean the same wry look you do, though yours is tinged with more amusement.
“Dean, that’s a clown fish,” you say. “He’s not gonna find that in the creek.”
“Aw, shit,” he tries to quiet his laugh. “Ah well, should keep him occupied for another twenty minutes.”
You bite your lip to stifle your laughter as well. Though something else occurs to you the longer you watch your son play and explore in the creek. Your dad has the patience of a saint as he puts yet another bait worm on the hook for the kid.
“He’s starting to ask questions, you know,” you tell Dean, in a quieter voice. “‘Why aren’t you and Daddy married? Why can’t we all live together?’”
Dean's brows raise. His good humor dims when he looks over at you.
“What do you tell him?” he asks.
You take in a deep breath, considering your words now as carefully as you did with your son.
“That we care about each other a lot, as friends,” you say, meeting Dean’s eyes. “And we love Robbie very much. Nothing’s going to change that, even if you and I aren’t together like a normal mom and dad.”
Saying it like that makes your heart twinge, for more than one reason. The way Dean’s mouth twitches into a rueful smile just makes it worse, but you try your best to ignore it.
“I never thought about having to explain it to him,” he says, rubbing a hand over his mouth.
It’s that anxious tell of his again. You notice every time he does it.
“I have,” you admit. “I just didn’t know for sure what I was going to say until it was coming out of my mouth.”
Dean smirks a little. “Yeah, that sounds like you.”
You roll your eyes and sip your drink, crossing your arms as well. Dean considers you then, looking at you in a way that makes you raise a brow in question.
“What?” you ask.
“Nothing, it’s just…” He sits back against the bench and rubs his hands down his jean-clad thighs. “For the record, I did try to ask you out once.”
“What?” you scoff incredulously. “No, you’ve been with Lisa since the beginning.”
“Before Lisa,” Dean says.
He isn’t joking. He isn’t teasing. He’s serious as he stares back at you with those green eyes of his. Your brows furrow as you wrack your brain. Did he drunkenly leave you a voicemail on one of those “off again” episodes between him and Lisa? No. You know you’d remember something like that.
“It was a few weeks after the bachelor party,” Dean says. “I called you up, remember?”
Your eyes widen. Finally, that jogs your memory.
“So I just thought maybe you and I could do something again. Maybe you wanna come over my place this time.” And there it is. You deflate at his words, shoulders sagging. The "convenient booty call" proposition.
You have to laugh, shaking your head in disbelief.
“Dean, you did not ask me out,” you say. “You wanted to hook up. There’s a distinct difference.”
Dean frowns at you. “No, I was. I invited you over—”
“For essentially some Netflix and chill,” you retort.
“Hey, I offered to make you dinner,” he argues. “I didn’t say anything about hooking up.”
You pause at that. His earnest denial makes you actually think back to what you remember about that conversation on the phone.
“So I just thought maybe you and I could do something again. Maybe you wanna come over my place this time.” And there it is. You deflate at his words, shoulders sagging. The "convenient booty call" proposition. “I could make us some burgers, toss in a couple of beers and a movie night,” he adds.
You cover your lips with your fingers as you begin to realize…
“That was you asking me out?” you ask incredulously.
Dean’s brows furrow and he throws his hands up. “What? Who doesn’t like a little movie night?”
“Dean,” you huff another laugh. “You could’ve made it sound more like a date.”
“Well, ‘scuse me. Sorry I couldn’t afford the Ritz at the time,” he grumbles.
You sigh. “That’s not what I meant.”
The more you think about it, the more you just shake your head at yourself. Why did you have to overthink it, like you do everything?
“Wow,” you say, softer and more contrite. “I honestly never thought…”
“Yeah,” he says. He shifts his gaze out ahead.
You glance over at him, now more unsure of yourself. He wouldn’t have any regrets, you think. He has Lisa. As much as they go at it, they always inevitably get back together. And now you know they hired a realtor. They’re about to start making solid steps forward.
But Dean surprises you with another question.
“Do you think if…”
He doesn’t finish it, but you think you know what he’s asking. You hesitate, your fingers flexing around your glass that beads with condensation. You set the glass down beside you.
Just as you open your mouth to reply—
“All right, pie is cooling and dinner is served!” your mom calls out. Her head pokes out of the sliding glass door to the backyard. You offer a smile, trying to hide how you jolted in your seat.
“Okay, thanks, Mom,” you nod.
You turn back to Dean, who also hesitates. His eyes meet yours, but all too soon, he locks the moment away.
Bracing his hands on his knees, he rocks to his feet and goes out to get Robbie and help your dad bring in the fishing gear.
You grab Dean’s whiskey along with your tea on your way back inside the house. You consider the amber liquid disturbed in his glass, and you down the rest yourself. The burn down your throat is a good distraction. If he asks about it, you’ll say you got the glasses confused.
You know you’ll have to leave that conversation unfinished at the foot of the bench.

Now...
Benny comes by your apartment and helps you into the passenger side of his pickup truck, like the gentleman he is. He takes you to a nice restaurant in downtown, much nicer than the usual sports bar or kid-friendly restaurant. You're very much looking forward to eating at a restaurant that doesn't feature chicken fingers or "kiddie" corn dogs.
“This is gonna be really expensive,” you whisper to him, after he hands his keys over to the valet.
Benny squeezes your hand in his, leaning over to kiss your temple.
“Don’t you worry about that. We both deserve a night out.” His blue eyes gleam with amusement. However, his gaze gentles, becoming more sincere. “You work hard, carin’ for everybody around you. How about you let me take care of you for once.”
Your eyes begin to water, your throat constricting with emotion. You rub his arm gratefully.
“Thank you,” you say. “You don’t know how much I appreciate that.”
It’s always easy with Benny. Nice and simple and easy. Nice, supportive, and considerate.
Nice and safe.
That thought follows you while you and Benny walk into to the restaurant. He’s reserved great seats in the back corner, overlooking a beautiful courtyard. It’s decorated with hydrangeas and light wood dining tables, all framed with a rod iron archway as the sun begins to set just so. After holding your chair out for you before he sits himself, Benny orders a bottle of champagne to kick things off.
He turns to you with a somewhat nervous look in his eyes, like he's steeling himself. It’s uncharacteristic of Benny, who’s always so calm and charming and sure of himself. It makes a zing of anticipation run down your spine, and…a dash of fear. You don’t know why, and you don’t know how to beat the feeling down as you fidget in your seat.
He subtly clears his throat, then takes your hand. “Sweetheart, I know I’m not all that good at the words you’re supposed to say. But I can say that the past three years with you and Robbie, it’s come to mean the world to me.”
Your smile softens. He brushes his thumb over the back of your hand, encouraged by your reaction.
“So I think it’s time I made it clear where I stand, and how much I want to be the man in your life,” he says.
Your eyes begin to widen in shock, but not for the reason he thinks.
“Dean,” you gasp.
Benny’s expression slackens. “What?”
You point over his shoulder, and Benny turns to follow your line of vision. Dean and Lisa have just walked into the restaurant. They notice you pointing their way, and they both pause in surprise as well. Lisa is beautiful as usual in a slinky black dress, completely backless (something you feel you could never pull off, unless you had an invisible bra to keep the girls perked up).
Dean is…well, you’ve very rarely seen him in a suit, but charcoal gray works for him. The open collar and white buttoned-down works for him, as do the three top buttons he’s left undone, showing a tantalizing strip of tanned skin. He stares back at you like he forgot you live in the same time zone, let alone the same zip code.
“Uh, hey!” he casts out an awkward wave, before he makes his way over to you and Benny. Lisa is less than enthused.
“We shouldn’t interrupt their night,” you catch her whisper to him, but Dean doesn’t seem to hear her.
“What’s up, party people! Of all the gin joints in all the world, huh?” Dean says, a little too loudly when he thumps Benny on the back. Benny grunts, giving a bit of a forced chuckle.
“Dean,” he greets. “I think I told you about this particular gin joint. Good to see you can actually clean up once in a while.”
“Ah, you know what, this monkey suit ain’t too bad,” Dean says, pulling at his collar.
You smirk in amusement. “Yeah, I remember how much you complained about wearing a simple tie for Robbie’s Christmas pageant.”
He smirks down at you. “Hey, ties still might not be my thing, but nothing wrong with a sharp collar.”
He pops his for emphasis. You don’t know why it makes you laugh, but it does. Maybe it’s just his face and the silly, endearing expression he makes when he pouts his lips in a “blue steel.”
“So, is this just a night out, or you guys celebrating something special?” Dean asks, gesturing at the champagne bottle and your full glasses of bubbly.
Benny gives his friend a certain look. “Yeah, as a matter of fact. Today’s three years.”
He takes your hand and kisses your knuckles. You smile back at him, though you’re a bit self-conscious at the way both he and Dean, and even Lisa have their attention on you.
“We should let you guys get back to it then,” Lisa says.
Honestly, it’s a relief. You and Benny nod, wishing them a goodnight.
For some reason, you notice how Dean’s smile doesn’t quite reach his eyes. But he goes with Lisa, laying a hand on the small of her back. You force yourself to tear your eyes away from them and refocus on Benny. You take up your champagne glass and raise it in offering.
“All right, where were we?” you ask, if with a nervous trill in your belly.
Benny smiles. He takes up his glass and clinks it with yours.
Tumblr media
Lisa nearly sighs. She and Dean are back in line at the front of the restaurant, waiting to be seated. The second time she catches Dean glancing over at the table where you and Benny sit, she shakes her head and digs into her purse for the valet card. She’s done with this.
“I think maybe we should go to a different restaurant,” she says.
That finally earns Dean’s attention, mostly confused. “What, why?”
She just gives him a long look.
He realizes that whatever her reasons are, it’s easier to just give in than to fight her on it. He’s learning when to pick his battles. Or is he just giving up?
Also, if tonight’s “the night” he thinks it is for you and Benny, maybe he doesn’t want to stick around after all. Three years, huh?
“All right, fine. Let’s go,” he agrees.
Dean and Lisa wait for the valet to bring the Impala around. The minute he gets behind the wheel and turns the key into the ignition, she changes her mind.
“Look, let’s just go home,” she says. “I don’t really feel like eating out anymore.”
Dean’s brows raise. “What? Aw, come on. We’re already dressed and everything. You look great, Lis. Just tell me where you wanna eat.”
Lisa remains firm, with a small shake of her head. “Please, Dean, just take me home.”
After a moment of indecision, Dean sighs. He revs the ignition and does as she says.
It’s only a fifteen-minute drive back to their apartment, but in that stifling silence, it seems to drag on for a small eternity. He glances at her a couple of times. Lisa has her arms crossed as she stares out the window, watching the other restaurants and mom-and-pops shops and forest trees and old houses of Lebanon, Kansas go by.
Dean counts it a blessing when they’re finally home. He walks up the few short steps up to their ground-floor apartment and unlocks the door. He flicks on the lights inside, and she breezes past him to toss her purse onto the couch.
Dean takes off his blazer and begins to undo the buttons on his cuffs. He watches her all the while, knowing that a storm is brewing. She shucks off her heels and slowly paces the living room on bare feet, like her whirling thoughts are fueling every step.
“All right, I give. What’s going on?” Dean asks. “What’d I do this time?”
She pauses, with her back turned to him.
Shit, he thinks. He shouldn’t have said it like that.
He prepares for the inevitable blow up, but it never comes. Lisa just heaves a sigh. Slowly she turns, and Dean’s shocked and dismayed to see the tears welling up in her deep brown eyes. He makes quick strides toward her, but she raises a hand to keep him at bay.
“Dean, when you picture yourself happy, truly happy,” she says. “Is it with me? Can you imagine yourself marrying me? Buying the house, having kids, growing old together?”
If Dean was thrown for a loop before, he’s even more stunned by her question. “Lis…”
“Just be honest, for once,” she pleads. Her tears begin to brim over, but she blinks, somehow keeping them at bay.
It’s a bit too long before Dean realizes that he can’t give her an answer. At least, not the one he knows she wants to hear.
When he thinks of that picture in his mind, of course he sees his son. But the only other person Dean can imagine there beside him is…
“I…” He wills his mouth to work, but nothing else comes out.
The only face he can conjure is yours. Your eyes are warm and welcoming, your smile as bright and contagious as your laugh.
The only voice he can hear is yours, gentle and strong at the same time.
The only one he can see is you.
He knows the shampoo you use and the perfume you like to wear, how the sweet and floral scents mix together and linger in your hair and on your skin.
Even now he remembers the contours of your body, and how it could fit so well against his. He knows that you used to try and hide your shape under loose, baggy shirts and cargo pants that did nothing for you. He knows how much courage it took you to wear that red dress to his brother’s party, because you told him once, at one of those Sunday dinners at your parents’ house.
Come to think of it, there’s not a whole lot that Dean doesn’t know about you, except maybe what you see when you look at him.
“You love her,” Lisa finishes for him. “I think you always have.”
Dean’s throat tightens. Somehow he swallows anyway, and he shakes his head.
“Lisa, I loved you.”
“Maybe you did, in your own way,” she says, laughing a little through her tears as she wipes them away. “But you already have a family, Dean. Go fight for it.”
Dean doesn’t know what to say, but he knows what he can do.
He goes to her and kisses her cheek.
“I’m so sorry,” he says.
Lisa merely nods, wiping her face dry. She watches Dean Winchester walk out of her apartment, and out of her life for good this time.
Tumblr media
Dean calls your cell, but it goes to voicemail. He drives all the way back to the restaurant and doesn’t find you or Benny there.
Dean realizes that what he’s doing, what he plans to do, is not fucking cool. He wouldn’t blame you or even Benny for being severely pissed when Dean shows up. He also knows that he can’t let another day pass where he keeps lying to you, and himself.
He eventually finds you at home. What’s weird is that Benny’s truck isn’t in the driveway—just your car. He knocks on your door, and he waits.
He unconsciously holds his breath while he waits in that terrible existence of limbo. However, his heart thrums back to life when he hears your footsteps drawing closer to the door. Anticipation, excitement, dread, it all roils together inside him like a bad cocktail as the door swings open.
And he’s once again rendered a bit breathless at the sight of you in that dress. The color alone appeals to him, let alone the way it accentuates your every curve, from full breasts to the swell of your hips, the softer slope of your thighs, and bare toes painted. You’re fucking delectable, every curve, and a temptation without you even meaning to be.
You’re just…you’re still so goddamn beautiful, like the night he first saw you. Even now, he can almost feel the give of your thighs under his hands, his fingers pressed to supple flesh.
But then he’s drawn to your face, and your wide eyes full of surprise. Your mascara is a bit smudged though. Your eyes are red too, like you’ve been crying. His brows furrow in concern.
“Dean, what’re you doing here?” you ask.
“I need to talk to you, but uh…did something happen?” he asks. “You okay?”
You’re reluctant to tell him. Did Benny say something to upset you? Or was it something he did?
“Yeah, I’m okay,” you say.
Instinctively, Dean knows it’s a lie.
“This isn’t a good time though,” you say, after clearing your throat. “Can we do this tomorrow, maybe?”
Dean leans a hand on the doorframe.
“Please, it’s important,” he says. His eyes implore you harder than his words. Please.
That does it. A sigh passes through your lips, but you let him in. He knows Robbie is with your parents for the night, which actually makes this easier.
Once he steps inside the apartment, Dean does notice that your bedroom door is open. Half the drawers to your dresser are open too, and empty. Certain frames that used to be on your coffee table are no longer there, like the one of you, Benny, and Robbie on a camping trip.
“You want some coffee, or soda?” you ask.
Dean declines and grasps your arm before you can busy yourself into “hostess” mode. He leads you to the couch, where you both sit down together.
“What happened tonight?” he asks. “Where’s Benny?”
Your lower lip wobbles, the beginning of your telltale cry face. Dean knows his son gets it from you, and it always breaks his heart. He squeezes your arm gently, trying to ground you.
“Benny proposed to me tonight,” you confess, taking in a sharp breath. “He proposed, and I couldn’t give him an answer.”
You shake your head as the tears sting hot in your eyes.
“He got so upset, he just—he left!” You throw your hands up. “But honestly, I don’t blame him.”
Dean tries to comfort you as you try and fail to wipe at your face. He wraps an arm around your shoulders, cupping your cheek to brush the tears away himself.
“Why couldn’t you answer him?” he asks.
You look up at Dean, and you finally notice the shine of hope in his eyes. Dean touches your cheek more tenderly.
“Does it mean I have a chance here?” he asks.
Despite what your eyes tell you, you still gape at him in shock. “What? But…what about Lisa?”
“It’s over. For good this time,” Dean shakes his head. “I realized what I wanted for my life, and where my heart is…”
And he chuckles weakly. “Truth is, you’ve had it the whole time, sweetheart.”
You begin to crumble all over again. You pull away from him and his touch, because you can’t believe it. You cover your face with your hands, sniffling as you try to make sense of his words, his touch, and the warm flutter threatening to brim happiness in your heart.
“God, Dean. You can't just..."
"I mean it," he insists.
You're still reluctant to take him seriously...no matter how much you want to. It's a conflicting realization that hurts, and makes you feel stupid for taking so long to figure it out, and makes you hate yourself for hoping his words are true.
"Come the morning, you’re going to change your mind,” you reason, without looking at him. “Like you’ve done with Lisa a thousand times.”
“No,” Dean says firmly. He shifts closer and prompts you to look at him, really look at him.
“Not about this, and you know it,” he says, catching and holding your gaze. “That’s why you couldn’t say yes to Benny. Because you know what we’ve got. It’s the real deal.”
You still look uncertain, even though you can’t bring yourself to pull away this time. Dean has always had this way of looking into the very depths of you, like he can actually see every thought as it passes through your mind.
“I should’ve said yes,” you say. “I can rely on Benny. I know he would stay by my side, and…and I know he won’t hurt me.”
Not like I’ve just hurt him, you think. Guilt still pricks at your heart. The last thing you ever wanted to do was lead him on, and yet, that’s what you’d done, wasn’t it? You thought you had loved him. You’re sure that you did, but maybe it just wasn’t the kind of love that could reach down deep and grab you, set your blood on fire, and make you ache when the burn was gone.
That spark licks across your skin when Dean takes your hands.
“What if I want to be that guy for you,” he says.
You allow yourself to look at him. Really look at him.
You know Dean. When he gets an idea in his head, it inhabits every bone and shred of muscle in his body. There’s no mistaking his resolve, or the steady grip of his hands over yours.
“If you let me, I’ll stay. I won’t leave you,” he says. In his eyes, there’s a firm promise. “I can be the guy you rely on. The man you can trust. The man who’s gonna love you, come whatever. Because now I know what it means. I know how it feels.”
You bite your lower lip against the smile that wants to surface.
“Are you sure?” you ask.
Dean smiles for you. “If you wanna know the truth, I’m pretty sure I’ve been loving you since the day I heard Robbie’s heartbeat for the first time.”
Your tears flow harder at that. A shaky breath escapes you, though it does nothing to steady you. Dean strokes your cheek gently with his thumb.
“Please, just give me this one chance,” he asks. Begs, really.
He doesn’t have to though. You nod, just a little.
“Okay,” you agree. “Let’s try.”
Dean's smile spreads slow, but warm across his face. It’s your favorite kind, the kind that crinkles his eyes.
He leans in and claims your lips with his own. The passion of it is familiar, but you don't think it’s the same as five years ago. Now, there’s an underlying note of tenderness in his touch and each new way he tastes you deeper. He holds nothing back this time, and neither do you.
Your fingers tangle in his shirt, and then in his hair as you moan into his mouth. “Dean.”
“Yeah, sweetheart?” he answers against your lips, though he doesn’t give you much room to keep talking.
You haven’t heard him call you sweetheart in a long time. You feel your heart knitting back together, stitch by stitch. Tears sting in your eyes anew, but you squeeze your eyes shut against them.
“I…”
You can’t even continue the breathless thought. You hold his face desperately between your hands, pressing your forehead to his for a moment as you both catch your breath. But this man is like the sweetest, most seductive vice. Now that you’ve gotten another hit, you can’t resist. You no longer want to.
His arms wrap around you more securely, and he leans in to lure you back into his kiss. His tongue breaches past your lips to curl along yours with tantalizing strokes. His hands slowly move down your back and along your waist.
“Mmm, missed the hell outta this,” he groans into your mouth. Your heart flutters again at the way he holds you, the way his big hands squeeze you and feel you.
You let him guide you down onto the sofa cushions. He slots himself between your bare thighs and runs his hand up familiar smooth skin, bunching the skirt of your dress higher as he goes. He aims to get himself reacquainted with every soft part of you that welcomes him back.
For once, the gates around your hearts swing free.
Tumblr media
Dean never imagined that his own son would hand him the ring he gives to his wife, but today, it just feels like symmetry. He grins and winks at Robbie.
“Thanks, buddy,” Dean says.
His son’s beaming grin is wide and toothy, but the boy takes his job very seriously and delivers the other ring to you. You smile brightly and caress his cheek after you take the shining, white gold band from him. It matches the thinner band that Dean has for you; it'll soon join the engagement ring that once belonged to his mother.
Robbie had liked Benny a lot, but he loves his dad. He’s probably the happiest person in the room to see his parents take each other’s hands in front of the minister.
Benny is understandably absent in the chapel today. You had met with him after that night of your botched anniversary to apologize to him, and so had Dean. Benny understood. He’d admitted that in the back of his mind, he feared this might happen.
“I wouldn’t blame you for being angry with me,” you said to him. “You can even hate me if you want.” Benny gave you a wry, melancholy sort of smile. “Part of me’s still mad at you, I won’t lie…but there’s no use in it. Not even hating you.”
Even though Benny bowed out, carrying his hurt and his grief on those broad shoulders, letting you go meant letting go of a friend too. He put in his paperwork to transfer out of Firehouse 83.
As he’d told Dean himself that day, and in fact, the last words Benny said to him…
“There you go, Lieutenant. A spot’s just opened up.”
Dean didn’t want to get promoted this way. He felt guilty enough as it was, and not just for Benny leaving the firehouse. Benny recommended Dean to the Chief himself though, saying that if they were going to give someone a Lieutenant’s badge, it may as well be the guy who got a perfect score on his test, and had the natural leadership skills to boot.
To the end, Benny was a gentleman.
Now, Sam beckons his nephew over. Robbie quickly goes to his uncle’s side and puffs his little chest out as he stands proud behind his dad.
Dean is able to take you in, your beautiful white dress, and everything about you that makes him smile…including the way you smile back at him.
Man and wife is all he hears. It’s all he needs to hear, before he’s pulling you closer by your newly anointed hand. He dips you for a thorough kiss in front of all your family and friends.
You squeal in surprise, making Dean smile hard enough for his cheeks to hurt. Giggling hard enough to make you tremble, you raise a hand to caress his cheek. But you give him another real kiss after he guides you back up to your feet.
“I love you,” you whisper against his lips. The words are just for him to hear. Dean pulls back enough to see the truth shining in your eyes. Beautiful.
“Can’t help it, right?” he teases.
You smile in amusement, but you grab his chin and shake it.
“You got me,” you reply. “I really, really can’t.”
Your beaming smile softens. Even though the entire room is clapping and hooting and hollering in celebration, in that moment, all you really see is Dean.
Here in his arms, you know that this is where you were meant to end up. From now on, it’s where you’re meant to be.

will there be a part 3? to the one that got away?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Part three of.. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐭 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐲 <3
Part one Part two
౨ৎ
The gas station is quiet in that dead way only 1 a.m. understands.
The kind of quiet that sticks to your skin. That turns fluorescent lights into interrogations and silence into white noise. You’re sitting behind the counter, legs curled under you, chin resting in your palm, watching a moth beat itself to death against the ceiling light.
It’s been an hour since your last customer.
Six days since your last text.
And maybe a week since you’ve felt like a real person instead of a placeholder someone friends stop calling when they’ve got enough warm bodies for the boat.
You shift in your seat, blinking at the dark glass of the storefront, at your own faint reflection in it. There’s something brittle in your face tonight. Something tired. You could blame the hours, but you know better. It’s not the job that’s killing you.
It’s everything else.
Your phone buzzes against the counter, a sharp jolt in the stillness. You grab it instinctively, heart thudding
But it’s not him.
Not the one you’ve been waiting for. Just a fucking scam spam number to tell you that you’ve ran a toll (you didn’t.)
You shut the screen off and set it face-down, harder than necessary. Rage has been ironing you for six entire days and it really hurts cause you don’t know why and it’s just making you silt even more.
And that’s when the bell above the door rings.
You barely look up at first. Just shift your eyes enough to see someone walk in tall, golden, reckless energy trailing behind him like a cigarette drag in the wind.
You freeze.
JJ.
He moves like he’s been here a hundred times and knows you’ll still look. And you do.
He’s in a gray tank, shoulders cut like he’s been fighting ghosts. Sweat on his collarbone, a smudge of sand on his forearm. His hair’s damp, unruly. Wind tousled from wherever he came from. Ocean maybe. Hell possibly. Same difference.
He doesn’t speak right away. Just strolls the narrow aisles, pretending to browse. But you can feel it the way his eyes flick toward you every few seconds. The way he moves slower near the snacks. Like he’s drawing it out.
Finally, he steps up to the counter and tosses a bag of Red Vines between you.
“Dinner.”
You don’t even blink. “Gonna give yourself diabetes.”
He grins, and it’s like a solar flare burning a little too bright, hiding something behind the teeth.
“Then I’ll die sweet,” he says, “like a southern boy should.”
You slide the scanner over the bag with a beep.
He doesn’t take it.
He leans on the counter instead, palms spread wide, body dipping slightly toward you just enough to let the scent of salt and summer hit you in the throat.
“Missed seeing you.”
You scoff, but it comes out dry. “Pretty sure you had your hands full.”
He tilts his head, smiling slow. “So you have been thinking about my hands.”
Your stomach tightens.
You look away.
JJ laughs softly. Low. Knowing.
“What do you want, JJ?”
His voice drops a register. “Do I need a reason to come see you?”
“Yes.”
He steps around the counter.
Your breath catches.
“No customers,” he says, moving closer. “Lights half-dead. You looked lonely.”
You force a smile. “Maybe I like it quiet.”
“I know you do.” His voice is velvet now. “Always did like being alone with me.”
You back up, but he follows. Not fast. Not aggressive. Just… deliberate.
You hit the counter behind you. No more space.
He brackets you there, hands planting on either side of your hips, body not touching but close. Close enough to feel the tension drag between your ribs like piano wire.
You don’t look at his mouth.
You absolutely do not.
He leans down, voice brushing your skin.
“You gonna tell me why you’ve been ducking all of us?”
“I’ve been working.”
He hums. “You’ve been hiding.”
“I’ve been tired.”
“Liar,” he says quietly.
And it’s the way he says it. Not teasing. Not cruel. Just… intimate.
Like he knows.
Your fingers curl around the edge of the counter. “I don’t owe you an explanation.”
“No,” he says. “But I still want one.”
You stare at him. He’s too close. It’s too much. And it’s never enough.
Your voice drops to a whisper. “Why are you doing this?”
He doesn’t answer at first. Just looks at you really looks. His gaze flicks over your mouth. Your jaw. The column of your throat. His breath is shallow now.
Like he’s thinking about it.
Like he wants it.
Like he shouldn’t.
But JJ Maybank was never good at not touching things that burn.
“You look like you need something,” he murmurs.
You swallow. “What do you think I need?”
His mouth hovers near your jaw. “That’s the problem. I don’t think I’d stop if I started guessing.”
Your phone buzzes again.
The spell cracks.
You jerk slightly and reach down to your pocket, flipping the screen over fast.
Just one word lights up:
Rafe 🧸: Outside.
Shit.
… yeah so the total votes on this won’t fully affect the outcome but it could i still got quite a few chapters before the end but so far…

Your hand in his, your warm body slumped against the Headmage's side, he helps you into your bed.
"Ah, look at the state of you. And entirely my fault," he murmurs. "I shouldn't have taken my eyes off of you for a moment. I suppose I simply thought you would not overdo it..."
You won't let go of his hand. It's warm, even the metallic talons he wears as rings, which are smeared with your fingerprints and smell like pennies.
Crowley doesn't try to take it.
"And what will Professor Trein say? He'll have my head for this, no doubt. No matter how old you are," he says. "You could have gotten very sick, you know."
You kick off the blankets like a toddler throwing a tantrum. Your shoes go with it. When had those been undone? Crowley really can't take his eyes off of you for a second.
You have a way of surprising him.
"Hot?" he asks, prodding for, hoping for, a coherent response.
"Very,"
Good. Then you're not completely smashed. You might even be able to get out of bed come morning.
If Trein and Crewel and your young schoolfriends see you walking, even with a headache and a complaint about the sunny morning, Crowley won't be blamed for your little... indulgence.
"I'll open a window," he announces, rising from the bed with a flourish of his overcoat. His hand is cold where yours once held it.
You make some horrid moaning sound, like a cat wanting to be let inside on a hot summer day (speaking of which- Crowley makes a mental note to fetch Grim from the first-years for you) and he frowns. "Not good enough? You can't be that hot, Prefect,"
"It's not that," you pout. "Come back."
Crowley stares. He really should be going- he had promised the others that he'd return to the post-game celebration as soon as he put you to bed and made certain you were comfortable. It was so early in the evening, after all, and Night Raven College had just won its first victory against Royal Sword Academy in the interscholastic spelldrive tournament in one-hundred years. If there were any a cause for celebration, that was it. Crowley shouldn't be lingering at your bedside, he should be chatting and cheering and washing down his last century of sorry losses with whatever medicinally-bitter drink Sam had been carrying around like candy.
He hmphs at the thought. If there's anyone to blame for your bedridden state, it's Sam, not him.
"Crowley," you repeat, your voice faint and far from him as he stands at the window. "Come back."
Could he have been supervising you better than he was? Yes, of course. But you're not a sixteen-year-old boy, he would have thought you'd show some more decorum- especially around the people you so admired. Was it to spite him, then? Get him in trouble with the others? Did you take a sick satisfaction in watching him get scolded by his staff?
"Dire. Come back?"
The sound of his name on your tongue is not unwelcome, but uncomfortable. Crowley closes the window, deciding that you've both had enough cold air, and he stands over your bedside.
"That's Headmage to you," he corrects, tightly tucking you in your blanket again. It's not something he'd normally do, but, now, he needs something to keep his hands busy.
"You're mad at me?"
"I'm not," he lies. "It's improper to call me by my first name, in the company of others or not."
You look away. "You're mad at me,"
Crowley's fingers furl into a tight fist, and then release, not out of frustration but of guilt- and he can't have you seeing that on his face, no, no, then you'd know you're winning. But you could hear the clink of his talons, and you figure it out anyhow.
"Dire," you say again, your eyes meeting his (if you could even call them that), and your hand meeting the stiff fabric of his sleeve. You tug, once, twice. "Come closer, I have something to tell you."
You're either going to bite him or spit on him, he's sure of it.
Still, he does as you demand, sitting at the edge of your sickbed and listening. You sit with him, and hide your flushed face in your hands, giggling like a lovesick teenager (which is more frightening to Crowley than it is endearing).
Though he's thinking of nothing more than the party he's missing, he still glances towards the door to make certain it's closed.
"Prefect," he says. "I haven't got all night."
"It's important! I promise, I just-"
You laugh on, as if it were the funniest thought you've ever had- whatever it is. Crowley tenderly pulls your hands away from your sparkling eyes. "Silly thing. And here, you had me worried that you'd drank yourself sick. I'd have to fill out the infirmary report for you again, wouldn't I? I was dreading having to spend my entire evening at your bedside. And here you are, smiling as if I were your favorite thing,"
"Oh, but, Headmage," you say between breaths. "That's just it."
"What is? Don't tell me you're ill, after all this,"
"No. You are my favorite thing,"
Crowley's eyes dart to the window. He should have left that open, because now he can hardly breathe. He'd once heard that night air was bad for one's health, but he couldn't imagine a worse fate than suffocating in this room with your words weighing on his chest.
"...And you're drunk," he decides, more for himself than for you. "You won't remember a word of this in the morning."
"I remembered it yesterday. And the day before that. So I think I will,"
He shudders. He's still got your wrists in his hands, and when he realizes such, he lets them go.
"Then... am I to assume you're calling me your friend?" he asks.
"More than that,"
"More?"
"Aren't you?"
"Well..." Crowley coughs, straightening his tie. He'd really like to touch you, to cup your cheeks in his palms and press his mouth into the crook of your neck. He stays seated. "I am your Headmage."
"More than that,"
"Your boss,"
"More,"
"Your... best friend?"
You hum, closing your pretty eyes and thinking about that. "...Yes, I suppose that's what it is,"
"And that's all," Crowley says. It's a question he's trying to dress as a statement, but its pants are too short and its waistcoat too thin. You can see its skin, warm and salty with sweat.
Your eyelids flutter, and you give him this face, this terrible, terrible face, and he knows just what it is because he's seen it before, in the way you look at him, trouble spelt over your lips. You're reading him. You're deciding what he's thinking, you're deciding that you know him, which is a dangerous thing.
Sometimes, you're quite right. Sometimes not.
Tonight, he's an open book, and you're written over every page.
"Headmage..." you repeat, in a tone more intimate than it should be. He had asked you to call him that, and now he thinks he'd rather hear the stern way you say "Dire" to this: soft, reverent, loving.
He hates himself for it. He does. But the door is shut tight and the window is locked and the warm air in the room is making him mad, and the way your clothing is sitting on your shoulders is making him sweat, and you're looking at him as if you might be looking at someone you love, not in the way you hold Grim, or in the way you laugh with your schoolfriends, or in the way you admire Trein and Crewel, or in the way your eyes flicker with life when you talk about your home, but something different, something new, something for him, for only him. And he cradles your face in his hands and coos, "My Prefect," and presses his lips against yours, the beak of his mask brushing against your cheek.
He tilts his head just so, letting you sit comfortably beneath the touch of his lips, because he knows you've done enough for him, and perhaps it's his turn to do the work. He wants you to trust him as much as he trusts you.
One hand stays on your cheek, tenderly, his talons grazing against your neck. The other rests on your waist. Crowley couldn't help himself- he wanted to see how much more he could take of the permission you'd given. He is, of course, already hard, painfully so, though that goes without saying. His cock pushes and strains against the tautness of his pants, each shift sending an uncomfortable bolt to his core, making his stomach twist and turn with something tight. He'd become bedmates with that feeling since knowing you, quite acquainted with the miasma of unsatisfying self-sex.
He can't fuck you. Not now.
Though the thought of what you might feel like around him is enough to make him moan, pant and suppress his want for more by pressing himself deeper into your mouth, taking all that you'll give him, and giving all that you'll take.
it's been some centuries since he's engaged in such licentious an act as making out- but your tongue tastes of burning alcohol and the pleasantly hot feeling of it makes him forget about his cock, if only for a moment.
Such a messy, careless act. His spit and yours covers your chin, your hand teases at his thigh, and you're conscious enough to swirl your tongue around his, but not to suppress the hiccup that happens when he pushes too deep.
Crowley comes to his senses and breaks the kiss, leaving nothing but a thin string of saliva between your lips as proof that there ever was one. You both pant, and he knows you want more. He can see it. It tests the tightness in his stomach and in his pants, which he swiftly and effectively suppresses by fixing the blankets around you.
"Now, there. You need your rest, if you're sick tomorrow then I'll be to blame. For certain, now," he grumbles.
"Headmage," you whine. He can make out the curves of your body beneath the blanket. "Pleeease fuck me."
"No," he says, swiftly. "Not- no, you're unwell."
He stands, the taste of you still on his tongue and the effect of you still uncomfortable in his pants (he can't imagine how he's going to take care of that without going home), and he steps into the hall.
Your voice follows him, and though he can't see you, anymore, it has the very same effect that your body and breath did.
"Tomorrow, then?" you ask.
You're drunk. He's an idiot.
And yet still, if you don't hate him as much as he hates himself come morning, he might entertain the thought.
"Tomorrow, Prefect," he mutters, his own voice weak. "Sleep well, my dear."
He can hear the smile in your tone, and it does his dick no favors.
"Ah... I will. I know I can count on you,"

The Wrong Buckley. Part Two of Six. Ao3 Link. Part One.
After that night, things go back to normal again.
Eddie leaves his phone on the table face up. He doesn’t sneak off for late-night mirror talks. And, most importantly, he doesn’t bring up Maddie again.
Maybe it was just a silly little crush.
But, a few days later, Buck makes the mistake of going to the grocery store without Eddie so he can secretly buy the ingredients to make his abuela’s tamales. He manages to not sound entirely suspicious when he tells Eddie he should get the house to himself for a bit - mainly, he thinks the unintended innuendo distracts Eddie from Buck's intentions. He's not sure what other excuse to use to get Eddie out of the house while he makes them. Maybe seeing the ingredients will be enough of a surprise?
He runs into a similar dilemma when he gets back to the house, wondering how he’s going to keep Eddie from helping put away the groceries. And really, on any other occasion, that would be a blessing.
However, when he gets inside, he hears Eddie's voice down the hall, muffled by his bedroom door. Buck frowns but takes the opportunity to quickly stash his purchases. When he’s putting away the final grocery, Eddie walks into the kitchen, jumping back when he sees him. “Shit, I didn’t hear you come in. Uh, do you need a hand with the groceries?”
“No, I got it. I didn’t want to disturb you.”
Eddie gives him a grateful look as he takes a step toward the fridge. “Can you hand me my calendar pen?”
The question takes Buck off guard, nonetheless, he reaches into the drawer behind him, handing the blue one to Eddie. He thanks him before scribbling something in the small square under tomorrow's date.
Buck hovers so he can read it as soon as he pulls his hand away. “Brunch?”
Eddie smiles so hard that his eyes squint up. “Maddie invited me.”
Buck's heart sinks. There goes the whole "not bringing up Maddie" thing.
“Do you want to watch something while we do laundry?” Eddie asks, making his way into the living room, oblivious to Buck's inner monologue.
“Yeah,” Buck says, staring at the calendar, feeling the same way he did when he saw pickup basketball with Tommy on there. This time, he won’t cause Eddie bodily harm though.
“Buck! You coming?”
He gives the calendar one last glare before responding, “Yeah,” as he heads into the living room.
No bodily harm, Buck reminds himself.
-:-:-:-:-:-
The next morning, before the dreaded brunch, they head to the drive-through of their favorite breakfast spot after dropping Chris off at school. Eddie orders part of their usual: two coffees and a breakfast burrito. As they pull away from the speaker, Buck hits Eddie on the arm. “You forgot your granola yogurt thing.”
“The thing you always make fun of?”
“It’s literally a menu item for old men.”
“A parfait is not 'for old men,'” Eddie says in a mocking tone.
“The only people I’ve seen order them are people from the retirement community down the road. I don’t blame them – it’s a great source of fiber.”
Eddie glances over at Buck as he approaches the window. “How do you know about the retirement community?”
“I talk to people.”
Eddie rolls his eyes before narrowing them. “Wait, you’ve been here without me?”
Buck can feel his face start to heat up as he glances away. “I, uh, brought Tommy here a few times. Turns out he doesn’t like your coffee order.”
The betrayal on Eddie’s face quickly turns into panic when the lady at the window says, “Uh oh. Trouble in paradise?”
Buck ducks down and smiles at the older blonde. “Hi, Lisa.”
“Hi, Buck. Eddie,” she nods at him as she takes his card. She does a double-take when she looks at their order. “Oh, hun. They didn’t include your parfait.”
Eddie waves her off. “I’m going to brunch soon, so I didn’t order it today.”
Lisa raises an eyebrow at him as she hands back his card, and Eddie is quick to clarify, “With his sister, who can’t do yogurt smells at the moment.”
“Oh, Maddie, right? That’s wonderful.” She turns away and grabs their two coffees and a to-go box. “Here you go. Have a good day, and make sure you get your fiber fill in today.”
As they drive off, Buck stares at Eddie.
“Shut up,” Eddie says.
“Your fiber fill,” Buck giggles.
“We’re never going there again.”
Buck laughs and nearly forgets about the impending doom that will be his early afternoon.
-:-:-:-:-:-
Buck stares at the wall and back at Maddie’s and Eddie’s locations on Find My Friends. He swipes over to his safari tab, pulling up the little restaurant they’re at that he’s never been to, and stares at the menu.
He wonders what they’re both ordering.
Maddie will probably get something sweet like French toast, and Eddie will avoid the waffles he would normally get because it’s listed that they’re high in fiber, and he’s not going to give up that grudge yet. So, he’ll get something savory similar to Buck’s breakfast burrito that he always steals a bite or two from. Maybe Maddie will let him steal a few bites of her French toast. Will they use the same fork? Or, worse, will Maddie feed those bites to him like Buck sometimes does, just to see the way his nose scrunches up?
Buck groans and stares at the wall again.
He goes through the same process, swiping to their location, moving on to the menu, trying to imagine what they’re eating, where they’re sitting, what they’re talking about, and staring at the wall again.
He changes it up a bit by looking at the menu and wondering what he would order if he had been invited. He glances over at the waffles, craving something sweet to offset his breakfast. If he’s being honest, he would also like the whole grain waffles, but he wouldn’t ever let Eddie know that.
He stares at the wall again.
He needs to get out of this spiral.
Buck stands up and walks around, hands itching to do something. He wonders if there’s anything he can bake.
As he rifles through the pantry, his eyes land on the hidden corn husks. He smiles at the wonderful distraction and pulls out his phone, calling Abuela and reassuring her that everything is okay with Eddie and Chris before seeing if she’s busy.
They talk while Buck preps the tamales, pausing their casual conversation when Buck gets to the masa so Abuela can talk him through it. As he assembles the last tamale, Abuela tells him she has to go to a doctor’s appointment. And after a minute of reassuring Buck, that Yes, I’m okay, mijo. It’s just a check-up. Buck lets her hang up with a promise to let her know what Eddie and Christopher think of the tamales.
As soon as the call is over, he swipes over to look at Find My Friends, only to find Maddie and Eddie still at brunch together. He glances at the clock. It’s been over two hours. What could they possibly be talking about?
A few minutes later, once Buck has gotten the tamales in the steamer, he notices that Eddie’s location is moving. Buck lets out a sigh of relief that he regrets afterward. He reminds himself that Eddie is allowed to have friends who aren’t him. Even if he’s in love with those friends, he’s allowed to have them.
It’s not long before the front door opens, and Buck pretends to be surprised about it after not prying his eyes away from Eddie’s location the entire drive back. “Hey, you’re back. How was brunch?”
Eddie fully walks into the kitchen with a container in his hand. “Are those... tamales?” he asks, sniffing the air.
Buck smiles. “I, uh, wanted to surprise you.”
“Man, my surprise isn’t as good as yours, then.” He slides the container across the table towards Buck.
“What’s this?”
Eddie crosses his arms and smiles. “Open it.”
Buck does as he says and finds himself staring down at a stack of waffles almost identical to the picture he had stared at on the online menu.
“And hey, they’re high in fiber,” Eddie jokes, grabbing two forks. “I thought you’d like to split them with me.”
“Yeah?” Buck asks, the smile on his face growing the longer Eddie’s around.
Eddie hands him a fork as Buck uncaps the lid to a small container of syrup. After Eddie cuts it up and Buck drizzles syrup over them, they each take a piece, bumping them together in a toast before eating them. Buck was right, they are good.
“So, brunch?”
“Right,” Eddie says, cheeks red, “I forgot when I smelled the tamales. They're almost like my abuela’s.”
“Well, I called her while I made them, and the recipe is hers. So, I hope that they might come out at least slightly as good as hers.”
Eddie raises his eyebrows. “You called her?”
“We talk from time to time,” Buck says nonchalantly. He doesn’t need Eddie to know that she calls around his birthday and Christmas to make sure her gifts for Eddie are perfect. “Brunch?” Buck presses again.
“It was good,” Eddie finally answers. “Maddie says hello, and she thinks we should do dinner with you and Chimney sometime.”
Buck smiles tightly, wondering how Eddie can be so casual about having dinner with the woman he might be in love with, alongside her husband. “Yeah, I’d like that.” He takes another bite of their waffles, syrup gathering at the corner of his mouth.
Before he can grab a napkin, Eddie takes a step towards him. “You’ve got…” he reaches out and gently swipes away the sticky residue with his thumb. Then, he does the unthinkable, bringing his thumb to his mouth, keeping eye contact with Buck as he licks away the tiny bead. “Got it,” Eddie says with a sweet smile.
All Buck can wonder is how Maddie will be able to resist him.
-:-:-:-:-:-
Brunch doesn’t appear on the calendar again until they get their schedules for the next week, and the first thing Eddie does is call Maddie, disappearing into their bedroom to do so.
Buck frowns and stabs at his cereal.
“What did the cereal do to you?” Chris asks. It’s definitely a line he stole from his dad that was aimed at Buck.
“Wrong place, wrong time.”
Chris glances in the direction Eddie left. “Do you really not like Maddie and my dad being friends that much?”
Alarm bells ring in Buck’s head. Has he been this obvious the whole time? If Chris knows, does Eddie?
“It’s okay, Buck. I know you get scared when Dad gets new friends.”
The kid is way too observant for his own good. “You do?”
Chris gives Buck a look before scooping the last bite of his cereal into his mouth. He carefully chews and swallows it before stating, “I’ve been scared about it, too. When I left for Texas, I thought all my friends here would get new friends and forget about me.”
“How could anyone forget about you?”
“I could say the same about you,” Chris comments casually as if Buck won't reply this moment in his head a million times later as he stands up to put his bowl in the sink. “Plus, Dad never shuts up about you. I’m pretty sure he would never be able to forget about you or replace you.”
It feels like Buck’s heart could rip right out of his chest. “Thanks, Chris.”
“Don’t mention it. Oh, and if you could tell my dad that I need to get his signature to retake a history test I failed, that would be great. Minimum lectures or serious talks from him would be a huge plus in exchange for me not telling him that you don’t like him being friends with Aunt Maddie.” He leaves the room before Buck can protest.
“This is blackmail!” Buck yells after him, wondering how he’s going to pull off that request. Every day, he gets more and more like his dad.
Eddie comes back down the hall shortly after, his big smile reserved for talks with Maddie plastered on his face. “I heard something about blackmail?”
Buck shakes his head and drains the rest of the milk from his bowl into his mouth. “Not important.”
Eddie raises an eyebrow at him, but he doesn’t say much as he grabs his calendar pen and marks in “Brunch” on Tuesday. Buck looks away as he rinses out his and Chris’s bowls before putting them in the dishwasher. He will not get jealous. He won't! Seriously!
There’s a bit of movement behind him, and suddenly Eddie is pressed right up against his back as he puts his bowl in the sink as well. Buck tries to remember how to breathe as he rinses it out while Eddie’s hand squeezes his shoulder, running down his back before settling on his hip. He goes as far as tucking his head over his shoulder to watch.
When he turns off the water, Eddie turns to him, his face so close that Buck can feel Eddie’s lips brush against his cheek as he says, “Thanks, Buck.”
And then Eddie presses his lips against his stubble for less than a second before entirely disappearing.
Buck nearly drops the bowl.
He puts it into the dishwasher carefully, wondering when Eddie got so touchy and if it’s a result of them living together and sharing a bed. But even during quarantine, Eddie never kissed him. Even if it was just on the cheek.
Hell, Buck doesn’t think he’s felt Eddie’s lips anywhere.
And god, he needs to calm those thoughts down before they go any further.
He sighs and dries his hands before running them over his face. He glances at the calendar, trying to get a grip when…
No fucking way.
Buck marches up to the damn thing and can’t believe his eyes.
The word “Brunch!” stares back at him, and it’s circled... with a heart.
-:-:-:-:-:-
Buck is going insane.
The type of insanity that involves him sitting on a bench a block away from the brunch spot, sunglasses and baseball hat on, watching Eddie and Maddie laugh at something one of them said. It’s far enough away that Buck can’t exactly see who is talking, but he could spot Eddie’s laugh from a mile away.
He tries to rationalize this in some way that doesn’t result in charges for stalking. He settles on the fact that he’s trying to protect the Diaz family. Although everything has been pretty good recently with Chris back and the two of them in therapy, they’re still on thin ice. And this is something that could absolutely break them.
No matter what Chris says, he’s pretty sure Eddie moving to Texas forever would result in him finding someone to replace him until he eventually forgets about Buck. He seems to have already found a replacement here, though.
When Eddie leans across the table to whisper something that turns the conversation more… intimate? Buck stands up.
He’s allowed to get brunch on his own. He’s allowed to happen to get it at the same place as Eddie and Maddie.
This is nothing like how he crashed the basketball game.
He didn’t bring Chimney this time. Okay, so maybe he thought about it before realizing how quickly that could backfire if this whole thing is just a one-sided hopeless crush. Plus, Chimney was there when he shoved Eddie, and he doesn't want that to happen again, and somehow the two things seem somewhat tied together.
He’s rethinking the whole thing the closer he gets to the place. Knowing him, he’s always about three seconds away from a medical disaster, and he really doesn’t want this whole jealous injury thing to become a pattern, especially not when his pregnant sister is involved.
It takes him only two more seconds to fully decide to backtrack. He does a bit where he pretends to forget his wallet so he has to turn around.
But then he hears, “Buck?” and “Evan?”
He slowly looks up, feeling every bit like a dog who has been caught destroying their owner’s things. He slowly removes his sunglasses. “H-Hey!” he stutters out. “I didn’t know you guys were getting brunch here.”
Eddie looks confused, and Maddie looks… disappointed.
Before he can say something about how he’s always wanted to try this place, a waiter walks up to the outside table. He gives Buck a polite smile and asks, “Will you be joining us this afternoon?”
“No,” Maddie says at the same time Eddie says, “Yes.”
The waiter looks between the three of them awkwardly.
“If we could just get the check, please,” Maddie says politely.
The waiter flees quickly.
“Madd–”
He gets cut off by a look from his sister. “Do we need to have the blonde Sarahs talk again?”
Buck ducks his head. “No.”
“The what?” Eddie questions.
They must have some type of silent argument that Eddie wins as Buck stares at his shoes, because, surprisingly, the chair closest to him screeches against the concrete as Eddie pushes it with his foot. Buck dares to look up at Maddie.
“You can join us until we leave,” Maddie says, using her mom voice.
“Thanks,” Buck mumbles, feeling like the chastised kid that he is. He doesn’t even spare a look Eddie’s way.
“So, what were we talking about?” Maddie asks, then her eyes fill with slight horror.
“Uh,” Eddie replies awkwardly. “We were saying…”
Buck risks a glance at him, taking in the way he always seems to be blushing around Maddie.
“Talking about my birthday coming up, right?” Maddie rushes to say.
“Yeah,” Eddie agrees, suspiciously. He takes a long sip from his glass filled with some type of juice, eyes widening a bit at Maddie. It’s a look Buck hasn’t seen before, and it makes his hands ball into fists under the table.
The waiter comes back again, a single check in hand. He places it on the table with a forced smile and quickly walks away.
“I’ve got it this time,” Eddie says, taking the bill before Maddie can protest.
This time. So they’re mistaken for a couple often?
“I’ve got it!” Buck announces, snatching the bill away. The two of them stare at him. “For accidentally crashing.”
With the way the two are staring at him, they both know it wasn’t an accident. But for Buck’s dignity, he’s going to pretend that they buy it.
When the waiter comes back, he does a not-so-great job at hiding his confusion when Buck hands over his card with the check. But he returns it to the table quickly before any more stilted conversation about Maddie’s birthday can be had. He also tries to hand Eddie a box, but Eddie gestures toward Buck instead.
The waiter's eyes flicker between Maddie and Eddie a few times, eyes settling on Maddie’s baby bump more than once before looking at Buck and Maddie, then Buck and Eddie. Buck can’t imagine what story he’s creating in his head before he finally hands Buck his box and leaves the table.
“Do you think...?” Maddie asks Eddie.
“Absolutely,” Eddie replies with a laugh.
Buck looks between the two of them and suddenly feels like the world’s worst third wheel.
It gets worse when they say their goodbyes, hugging each other tightly before Maddie turns to Buck and pulls him into a tight hug as she whispers, “Remember, we don’t hurt our friends.”
“I won’t,” Buck promises. And he means it.
“I’m parked this way. It was lovely seeing you, Eddie. Let me know when you’re free next.”
“I will!”
As soon as she leaves, Eddie gestures toward the direction of Buck’s car. “I’m parked this way.”
“I am, too.”
The two walk side by side in silence.
Buck is on the verge of apologizing when Eddie asks, “Do we need to get a dog or something?”
“What?”
Eddie continues looking ahead before he suddenly stops on the sidewalk and turns to Buck. “How can I make this easier for you?”
“Eddie…” Buck trails off, unsure of what to say. He glances in Maddie’s direction, knowing he could never ask for Eddie or Maddie to take a step away from their friendship that is so clearly important to the both of them. He looks back at Eddie and says, “Nothing. It’s not something that you should have to make easier for me, okay? This is something I need to work on, and I will.”
Eddie grabs onto his shoulder, his thumb resting right about his collarbone. “We’re in this together, okay? I’ll always have your back, and you’ll always be important to me.”
Buck feels himself getting flustered by the praise, and he’s sure his face is turning a lovely shade of pink. But it’s entirely worth it when it’s Eddie who's making him feel this way.
Eddie lets go of his shoulder and gestures at the box in his hand. “Let’s get home so we can eat those while they’re still warm. Plus, I'm pretty sure that waiter is watching us.”
Buck not so subtly looks back.
He definitely is watching.
As they walk away, Buck can’t help but smile again as their shoulders bump together every step of the way to Eddie’s car.
Briefly, he wonders what the waiter thinks of them now.

I came out to my dad as bisexual at 14 and I was PANICKED because I had a crush on a guy in my Boy Scout troop and thought I was Going To Hell Forever and he was so kind and understanding of my distress, but he had NO idea what bisexuality was. He just said “yeah but you like girls too? This is normal. Everyone is like this.” And I love my dad and trust him with my life to this day and the idea that the concept of bisexuality had not occurred to him had not occurred to me so I put it off.
By 16 though I had a crush on like THREE boys. Three entire boys in my Boy Scout troop. I felt like my sin was slowly advancing, until like an untreated cancer it had become metastatic. I remember bawling my L’il limp-wristed sissy eyes out in his big rumbly truck on the way home from a scout meeting and him telling me that it was OK, that he still loved me if I was gay, but that he knew I wasn’t gay because I still had crushes on women and that meant I was straight. I didn’t quite know how to explain that those felt *~*different*~* and that I felt like I was losing a fight to evil inside me but I again felt comforted by his reassurances and his genuine fatherly love.
At 18 I was like “hey I’m realizing all my friends are going on missions. I don’t wanna do that. Idk how to say that and I don’t have a ‘good enough’ reason to not wanna go.” So I just put it off. Again, my parents were extremely supportive of the information I gave them (I blamed it on perpetually forgetting to start the paperwork.) and one day my mom texted me that she had done the paperwork for me! And that all I needed was to get a physical! So I did that (it was awkward af tbh, my hernia check was done by a trainee doctor and she spent like 3 minutes fishing around my inguinal canals before her attending rescued me) and was sent to Mexico City where I learned that in addition to dipshit himbos with strong hands and scruffy guys with artistic hearts I was REALLY into chubby Latin men with strong personalities who bullied me a little when I lived in Mexico.
I remember my first companion got annoyed with me during an argument and said we were just gonna wrestle and whoever won the wrestling match won the argument (I stg I am dead serious this happened.) I was like…SWEATING when he tore off his tie and threw his white button-down shirt onto the ground (I won btw, don’t ask me how).
I remember one of my companions with this really intense, almost manic energy telling me that he was gonna make sure I was safe in a new area I didn’t know very well. He cooked breakfast for me and we’d go shopping together on P-Days and in the mornings before breakfast he’d jog around and do pull-ups with his shirt off and I’d do anything but look at him because my face would break out in a sweat so intense he’d think I was crying and come over to see if I was OK and somehow make it worse. He let me play D&D with myself in the evenings even though it was against mission rules because he knew how lonely and stressed I was.
I remember one of my companions was a big chubby man with a loud voice and a great sense of humor. He was kind and direct when addressing conflicts with me, and always bragged about how he knew the secrets of women’s minds and it felt like he really did since it almost always boiled down to “Treat Them Like People and Love Them a Lot. Don’t Stop Being A Person For Them. Also Eat Them Out Sloppy Style.” Our P-Day activities sometimes felt like dates, and it seemed like he was more attentive to my emotional state than I was since he was always the first to suggest we slow down our Divinely Mandated, God-Ordained, Super Sacred Work and Wonder to get a snack or check out a Pawn Shop (I love Pawn Shops).
I remember another companion who asked me to bully him every time he did something against his goal of losing weight. It was like he gave me Carte Blanche to take out my crush on him by being a nuisance and I LOVED that. I remember having a breakdown one day after we’d spent the afternoon frantically cleaning our disgusting-barely-habitable mission house to make it look less vile that it was (not our fault imo?) and I started bawling and he pulled me into a hug and he smelled good and he told me he knew it wasn’t just the house and that I was mad at him for being a Huge Dickhead for about a week (true) and that he would work on it. (He’s also a huge chaser but that’s a separate thing.)
I remember one of my companions waking up early (and our schedule is already built for sleep deprivation) to make me a “birthday cake” from knock-off Nutella and bread. He used matches for candles and woke me up, lit the ‘candles,’ pulled them out, then smashed it in my face and took a bunch of pictures while I was still madrugada and disoriented as fuck. He had the same sense of humor as one of my HS crushes and I could push his buttons pretty easily which was so fun.
I came home from my mission and started back at BYU where I became actively and aggressively suicidal. I had a stalker the year I moved up there and my dad’s solution to that was to get me a gun. I know he wouldn’t have bought me a gun if he could have read my mind, but I had a loaded pistol under my bed during a trifecta faith/sexuality/gender crisis and that was not helpful. I remember that the day I decided to kill myself I figured I’d call the BYU CAPS and see if I could get into therapy because it felt like what I was “supposed to do” so I could check my suicide boxes. My therapist was the guy who’d helped me pick a major the year before and was this drop-dead gorgeous Hawaiian man who cried when I told him how I’d been feeling.
A few weeks into therapy I met another stunning man with soft eyes and a scruffy illegal-at-BYU beard he kept pushing his luck with. He was funny, kind, patient, married, and wouldn’t give me the time of day if he knew I was crushing on him. We were in my history of psych class, which was inarguably the worst psych class I have ever had, and we studied together for every assignment and test and I realized that my feelings for him and for all the men I’d already mentioned were in direct conflict with my faith and relationship with God. My already agonizing spiritual conflict became even more wretched and as a result of this plus some other tightly-packed experiences with Mormonisms bullshit, I left the church.
After leaving the church I decided to move back to AZ and transfer to ASU. My mom helped me get a dog since I think it had started to dawn on my family that my mental health was barely getting me through the day, and she knew that we both loved dogs. Madi made my last year at BYU livable while I got my shit together and transferred. In that last year, I went on a date with quite possibly the only semi-openly-out trans person on BYU campus. It was not a great date imo, I was not doing well, but the person I spoke with was fun and fascinating and talked to me about Gender Dysphoria and it really cemented my need to go. To leave and never come back to that fucking school.
I started at ASU a month after my last semester at BYU and within a very short time frame it felt like I was coming back together, like a puzzle magically putting itself together in an environment that wasn’t slowly draining that puzzle’s will to live.
On the 4th of July, the year I started at ASU, I saw a transition timeline photo of a gorgeous happy beautiful happy radiant happy woman and her former Mormon missionary self and I realized the light that was on in her eyes was the light that was off in mine. I looked into transitioning for 3 days, sleeping about 10 hours total during that time. I started talking to other trans people on Reddit (one of whom is now my beautiful fiancée @cintailed) and after about a month of making preparations to be disowned and kicked out, something I was not sure would happen but was ready to go through to Turn On The Lights, I came out to my family and it was amazing. I started HRT a month after that. I secretly dated some dorky guys for about a year while I applied to grad schools. I got into a great grad school for me and my needs. I got FFS. I did my trainings and classes. Me and my fiancée moved in together after some LDR shenanigans. We’ve lived together now for 4 years of basically marital bliss. We have a cat named Grandmother Esmeralda Weatherwax who bites the hell out of my feet about three times a day. My bi-cycle continues to be part of my life but now it’s not as scary. Baby gays in my life have started to look to me for advice. Idk how this all happened so fast. When the years, months, weeks, days, and hours seems to crawl by so slowly now they are rushing past me so fast it’s almost bewildering. Whereas before I felt like I was living on borrowed time, past my ‘expiration date,’ now it feels like I can Fucking Breathe. I’m training myself to slow down now and it feels worth it to Live In The Moment.
Idk why I wrote this. Idk why these thoughts only seem to come up on Sundays when I’m supposed to be writing my dissertation. Idk why I’m crying rn or why I feel so happy. I’m gonna post this shit then get on with my dissertation I guess. Read more Terry Pratchett and give yourselves the time you need. Get a pet. Talk to someone. Re-examine the events that brought you here. Be gayer. Love y’all 💕

OBSESSED › paige bueckers x fem!reader
Tumblr media
⌗ summary : paige and her secret girlfriend go to the draft together and paige doesn’t know how to keep her hands to herself.
⌗ warnings : degradation, strap, alcohol, risky, almost getting caught, car sex, strap(r!receiving), praise, quicky.
⌗ word count : 4.1k
⌗ kay’s notes : her outfits this night should go down in history books. i couldn’t tell if the first suit was brown or just dark purple so i just put brown
Tumblr media
you step out the car and instantly feel every head turn, but there’s only one you care about.
paige is already halfway through a question with a reporter when she catches sight of you, her mouth stuttering mid-sentence like her brain just shut down.
“oh my god,” she mumbles, blinking way too slow. “what the hell are you wearing?”
you smirk, twirling slightly so the slit of your dress shows just enough leg. “a dress?”
“no, no, no. that’s not a dress. that’s a personal attack,” she mutters, dragging her eyes from your heels all the way up to your lips. “you tryna end me before i even get drafted?”
you shrug, walking up to her like you’re not hiding in plain sight, like the world doesn’t know yet that you’re hers. “you look kinda hot too, bueckers.”
“kinda?” she huffs. “i’m wearin’ a whole sparkly ass suit and you’re over here lookin’ like a sin. ma, i’m about to fail the press line.”
you glance around—cameras everywhere, reporters shuffling, but paige is locked on you like nobody else exists. her black nails clench the edge of her huge designer bag like it’s the only thing keeping her sane.
“stop lookin’ at me like that,” you tease, voice low. “you’re gonna make people suspicious.”
“then stop looking like that,” she fires back, eyes dropping again to your leg. “jesus christ. there’s a slit. there’s a thigh. i can see your damn thigh muscle. you tryna kill me?”
“it’s just skin, paige,” you say, pretending to be innocent.
she scoffs, stepping a little too close. “not when it’s your skin.”
her hand twitches like she wants to touch you so bad but knows she can’t. she’s sweating under her glittery brown blazer and you haven’t even touched her yet.
“we are not gonna make it through this night,” she whispers, leaning closer like she might kiss you right there. “i swear to god, you better not be wearin’ that to the after party.”
“why?” you blink, playing dumb. “you don’t like it?”
“i like it too much,” she mutters, licking her lips. “like, black heels? slit that high? i’m obsessed. actually, no. i’m in love.”
you giggle, but she’s dead serious. eyes dark, rings catching the flash of a camera as she moves like she might reach for your waist—then remembers where you are.
“you gotta stop,” she groans, eyes fluttering shut for a second. “i’m tryna look all professional and composed and you out here lookin’ like my walking weakness.”
you lean in so close your lips brush her ear. “good. i like you a little messy.”
“god, i can’t do this,” she breathes, stepping back like she needs distance or she’s gonna lose all control.
you pose for a few photos beside her, smiling like you’re just friends, like she didn’t just whisper the filthiest compliment under her breath.
“what was that?” you ask, biting your lip.
“i said,” she repeats, barely moving her lips, “if you keep standing that close to me i’m gonna fuck you on national tv.”
your eyes widen. “paige.”
“what? i’m not entirely serious,” she shrugs, fake-innocent. “blame the dress. and the heels. and your everything.”
she keeps sneaking glances like she’s trying to memorize the way your dress hugs your waist, the way your collarbone glows under the lights. she looks like she’s praying for self-control and losing hard.
“i’m losing it,” she murmurs, watching you laugh at something a reporter says. “i’m so losing it.”
you reach down, fix her chain that shifted sideways in the shuffle of cameras. “deep breaths, champion.”
she grins, but it’s desperate. “girl, i’m about to deep breath you against a wall.”
you gasp, eyes wide, but your body leans toward her like it wants the same thing. “you are so not slick.”
“i’m not trying to be,” she shrugs, stepping closer again. “but you gotta know… the second i can get my hands on you? it’s over.”
you smirk, brushing a finger along her ringed hand. “then let’s make this night go fast.”
she groans again, and the cameras catch her mid-eye roll, mid-thirst. she doesn’t care. not really.
not when you look like that. not when you’re hers and she can’t even touch.
you’re already at the table when she walks back in, lights dimming low as the show gets ready to start.
and then there she is—shirtless under a sparkly black blazer, skin glowing, chains resting perfectly on her chest, waves falling wild around her face.
“so?” she grins, hands in her pockets, eyes locked on you like nobody else in the room matters. “how’d i do?”
you just blink, mouth open.
because jesus, that’s your girlfriend.
“you’re insane,” you whisper, gaze dragging down her whole fit. “you look like sex.”
she laughs, but it’s low and cocky.
like she knows exactly what she’s doing to you.
“you like it?” she asks, standing right in front of your seat now, voice teasing.
you grab her hand and pull her into the chair beside you. “shut up before i climb you in front of espn.”
“say less,” she whispers, already sliding her palm onto your thigh under the table.
you flinch, eyes darting around, but she just smirks, thumb brushing slow over your skin like it belongs there.
like it’s not a secret, but something she’s ready to scream to the world.
her confidence is unreal—chin up, legs spread, one hand on you, the other resting casual on the table like she’s not minutes away from her whole life changing.
but all she cares about is how your dress rides up when she touches you.
“how long do i have to wait before i take you home and ruin you?” she murmurs, lips brushing your ear. “seriously. give me a number.”
you try not to shiver, faking a smile for the cameras pointed your way. “depends. how long you wanna last in dallas?”
she grins big, hand gripping your thigh tighter. “forever, if you come with me.”
and then—before you can answer, before you even process—her name is called.
“in the 2025 wnba draft the dallas wings select paige bueckers, university of connecticut.” the whole room goes wild, but she doesn’t look at anyone else.
she turns straight to you.
“holy shit,” you whisper, already standing.
she hugs you like she’s never gonna let go, arms locked tight around your waist, mouth pressed close to your jaw.
“baby,” she breathes. “we did it.”
you nod, eyes glassy. “you did it, p. i’m so proud of you.”
her hands won’t leave your back. her nose brushes yours.
“i love you,” she whispers, voice shaking.
you grip her tighter. “i love you too, champion.”
she almost kisses you. she almost does it—right there, in front of god, the league, and everybody.
but she pulls back at the last second with a smirk.
“gimme that hat,” she says quick, grabbing the dallas one off the table and shoving it on your head.
she loses it.
“yo,” she laughs, eyes glued to you as she walks toward the stage. “you look better in it than i will.”
you smile, legs crossed like a tease. “i look good in your stuff. your words, baby.”
you watched as she hugs her parents and geno and you couldn’t be more proud of your girl.
she’s grinning the whole way up to the mic, all dimples and chain sparkle, but her eyes keep darting back to you like you’re the only one who matters.
and yeah, she’s giving the most heartfelt speech ever—funny, real, humble—but her fingers twitch like they still wanna be on your leg.
like she’s counting down the seconds ‘til she can get back to you and finish what she started.
she’s back at the table like she never left, dallas hat tilted low, legs wide, hand right back where it was on your thigh.
“you miss me?” she mumbles, lips barely moving.
“you were gone for like two minutes,” you whisper back, laughing.
“too long,” she says, dead serious. “felt like years.”
you roll your eyes but your heart skips anyway. she smells like camera flashes and fresh cologne and nerves that only melt when she’s next to you again.
geno’s across from you both, chatting with her mom while her dad proudly records every moment on his phone. and meanwhile, paige is sliding her pinky under the slit of your dress like she’s tryna write a love letter on your skin.
“can you not?” you hiss, glancing toward her mom.
“what?” she smirks, eyes big and fake innocent. “my hands are cold.”
you kick her lightly under the table. she grins harder.
geno clears his throat and raises an eyebrow. “everything okay over there?”
“just peachy,” paige says, squeezing your leg. “really loving everything about tonight.”
you’re fighting a laugh, trying to stay composed, but then she leans in again—voice low, sultry.
“you know i almost kissed you when i hugged you, right?” she says. “like, actually kissed you. lips. tongue. the whole thing.”
you freeze for half a second. “i would’ve died.”
“i could’ve saved you,” she shrugs. “like mouth to mouth you know.”
“definitely,” you whisper, and the look you give her makes her visibly clench her jaw.
she has to get up again—interview number twenty or whatever—but she drags her fingers down your arm the whole way out of her seat like she’s starving and you’re the only meal that matters.
and when she’s walking away, she keeps turning around. even with all the lights, all the attention, all the noise—she’s scanning the crowd until she sees you.
you lift the hat, give her a little salute.
her whole face softens. like she’s home with just a look.
“i miss you.”
when she sits back down, she sighs like she’s finally breathing again.
“they tryna talk to me about my future,” she mutters. “girl, you’re my future.”
you blink. “okay, relax.”
“no,” she says, already slipping her hand back under the table. “you don’t get it. i’ve got it planned already.”
geno raises a brow again like he knows something’s going on, but you both just sip your drinks and smile like saints.
“you think he suspects us?” you whisper.
“he’s geno. he’s known since the third practice you came to,” paige says, eyes half-lidded as her fingers trail patterns on your knee. “man caught me starin’ at your ass mid-drill.”
you choke on a laugh and she nudges your foot under the table.
you stay like that for the rest of the night—smiling for cameras, clapping for draftees, making eyes when no one’s looking.
and every time she leaves, she’s counting the seconds till she can crawl right back beside you.
hand to your thigh. lips to your ear. heart in your hands.
you’re standing in front of the bathroom mirror, adjusting the tiny blue straps of your dress for the after party when you hear the door click shut behind you.
“my god,” paige says instantly, voice already hoarse. “you’re really wearing that?”
you smirk, not even turning around. “yes i am.”
she’s in the afterparty outfit—white button-down half unbuttoned, sparkly gray plaid pants low on her hips, dallas hat, silver chain sitting pretty on her collar.
but she’s looking at you like you’re dessert.
“spin,” she says, stepping closer. “like all the way around.”
you do, slow. the dress sparkles like you’re wrapped in stars, barely covering your ass, hugging every curve, back out, legs on full display.
paige groans, already adjusting herself. “yeah, i’m not gonna make it through the night.”
you bite your lip. “then don’t.”
she’s on you in seconds. presses you against the counter, hat bumping your forehead as she leans in close.
“you did that on purpose,” she whispers, hands running down your sides. “you knew what that dress would do to me.”
“uh huh,” you hum, grabbing her chain and pulling her even closer. “and it worked.”
her breath stutters. eyes drop down your chest, then lower.
“counter, now.” she mutters, pulling you up the wrist like she’s out of time.
you giggle the whole time, sitting on the bathroom counter watching her walk to lock the door.
“stay still” she commands, and you do—perch right on the edge of the counter, legs parted just enough to tease.
she drops to her knees like she’s praying. like you’re the only god she’s ever worshiped.
“lemme look at you,” she says, voice deep, running her hands over your thighs like she’s scared she’ll miss a spot.
“paige…” your voice comes out breathy. needy.
“shh, mama,” she whispers, lips brushing your inner thigh. “gonna take my time.”
her fingers push the hem of your dress up slowly. painfully slow. and when she sees what’s underneath—bare, wet, waiting—her breath catches.
“you’re so bad,” she says, kissing right above where you need her. “no panties?”
you shrug. “figured i wouldn’t need ‘em with you around.”
her tongue is spreading you open before you can even blink. slow at first—tasting, teasing, drawing shapes that make your knees shake.
you grab the counter for balance. her hands are on your thighs, holding you open like a gift, face buried like she’s starving.
“fuck,” you breathe out, head falling back.
she moans against you, like you taste better than anything she’s ever had.
“so good,” she mumbles, lips slick, tongue dragging through every drop. “you’re so fuckin’ good.”
you buck your hips, chasing her mouth. but she pulls back, grinning.
“nuh uh. i said stay still. i’m enjoying the view.”
you whine, but she dives back in—flat tongue, deep pressure, one hand trailing up to toy with your nipple through the dress.
you’re squirming now, thighs shaking. she’s relentless, moving her tongue in rhythm, then switching it up just to hear you beg.
“paige—i can’t—”
“yes you can,” she pants, voice rough. “c’mon, baby. gimme one. right here.”
she sucks your clit slow and deep, and you come undone with a hand tangled in her hair and a scream buried in your palm.
she doesn’t stop.
licks you through it, keeps sucking like it’s the only thing that matters, pulling a second orgasm right out of you with zero warning.
you collapse back, breathing heavy, thighs twitching.
paige stands, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, cocky grin already back on her face.
“still goin’ to the party?” she asks, voice raw.
you blink at her, dazed. “not if you keep lookin’ like that.”
she chuckles, fixing your dress, pecking your lips once, then again, then again.
“fix your hair, baby,” she whispers. “everyone’s gonna know you just got ruined.”
you smirk. “let ‘em.”
the party is loud, lights low, music vibrating through the walls like it’s trying to get under your skin.
paige is already tipsy, dallas hat still on slanted, cheeks flushed, drink in hand, dancing like nobody’s watching—but her eyes haven’t left you once.
“you’re my favorite thing here,” she says, slurring slightly, arm slung over your shoulders. “even better than the free sherley temples.”
you laugh, leaning into her. “i don’t believe that for a second those are your favorite.”
she cackles, forehead dropping to your shoulder. “that’s so dumb. but like hot that you know me so well.”
her fingers slide down your side, resting on your bare hip like it’s instinct.
you know you should be subtle—eyes are everywhere—but you’re buzzed too and she’s looking at you like she wants to devour you again.
“stop starin’ at me like that,” you whisper, tugging her hand off your waist.
“can’t,” she says, gripping your hand instead. “you’re too pretty for me to handle. i can’t do this.”
you roll your eyes. “you say that like you weren’t on your knees for me an hour ago.”
“shhhh,” she hisses, but she’s smiling. “don’t say that in front of everyone.”
you nudge her hat playfully. “you exposed yourself all night long.”
she leans in close, mouth brushing your jaw. “baby, i wanna bite you.”
you choke on a laugh. “you already did, psycho.”
her arms wrap around your waist tight, face buried in your neck, lips brushing the shell of your ear.
“you’re the most beautiful girl ever,” she whispers. “deadass. oh and you’re mine.”
you giggle, holding her steady. “you’re so drunk.”
“i’m so in love with you,” she says louder, like that’s a defense.
geno walks by and gives you both a look. “hydrate,” he mutters, tossing paige a water bottle like he’s seen it all before.
paige holds it up like a trophy. “see? coach said i’m doing amazing.”
you steal a sip and wrap an arm around her waist, swaying with her to the beat.
she’s grinding against you slow, hands on your hips, and no one’s really paying attention—but they would if they looked close enough.
“stop,” you whisper, lips brushing her ear. “we’re in public.”
“don’t care,” she murmurs back. “you feel too good.”
her hand drifts lower. “lemme just—”
you slap it away. “paige.”
she pouts. “i miss the bathroom.”
you snort. “you’re disgusting.”
“you like me disgusting.”
you kiss her cheek. “unfortunately.”
she spins you into her chest, both hands on your ass now, dallas hat shadowing her eyes.
“tell me i’m your favorite dallas girl,” she whispers.
“you’re my only dallas girl.”
“that’s hot.”
you grab her jaw, pulling her into a slow, borderline inappropriate kiss.
paige pulls back with a cocky smirk. “oops.”
you sigh, resting your forehead to hers. “you’re not gonna survive this party, huh?”
she grins. “not a chance.”
you lose her for like ten minutes because she’s passing out shots like they’re candy and dancing with everyone.
that’s it—just ten—but it feels like an hour in a packed room full of music and flashing lights and too many hands.
you’re leaned against the bar, giggling at something the bartender said about your dress, when arms wrap tight around your waist from behind.
“what the fuck, ma” paige mutters into your neck, voice muffled and messy. “you flirting with the bartender?”
you grin, instantly leaning back into her. “no, baby. just trying to get us more drinks.”
“we already have drinks,” she says, pulling you even closer like she’s trying to merge bodies. “you’re mine. not his.”
the bartender laughs awkwardly, already sliding away. you mouth sorry over your shoulder and turn to face her.
“you good, baby?” you tease, fingers looping under her waistband.
she pouts, swaying on her feet. “i didn’t like that.”
“what, me talkin’ to someone not you for thirty seconds?”
she nods, lips brushing yours. “you’re supposed to only look at me.”
“baby,” you whisper, cupping her cheeks. “i’d marry your drunk ass tonight.”
she melts instantly, forehead pressed to yours, eyes glassy. “okay but like… actually?”
you laugh. “let’s survive this party first.”
she nods fast, gripping your hips like you’re about to disappear again. “never leave me like that. i was lookin’ for you everywhere. even checked the dj booth.”
“that’s the complete opposite direction. and you were taking shots and dancing”
“yeah,” she slurs. “i panicked.”
you wrap her up, arms around her neck. she smells like tequila and cologne and sweat and you’ve never loved her more.
“you’re so clingy when you’re drunk,” you say, kissing her jaw.
“you like it.”
you do. way too much.
she’s pulling you into the corner now, hands roaming, lips ghosting over your collarbone.
“gonna fuckin’ take you home,” she mumbles, voice all grit and heat. “can’t stop thinking about that dress. and your legs. and your mouth.”
“paige,” you warn, drunk and giggly. “people can hear.”
“let ‘em,” she shrugs, grabbing your ass. “they should know i’m the one who gets to take you home.”
you snort, fingers tangling in her hair. “jealous ass.”
“yup,” she says proudly. “jealous, drunk, and in love with the hottest girl in the whole city.”
you kiss her. messy. teeth knocking, all tongue and hunger.
when you pull back, she’s dazed. flushed. staring like she just fell in love for the first time all over again.
“let’s leave soon,” she whispers. “i need you again.”
you grin, already nodding. “we’re making it through like twenty more minutes. tops.”
you barely make it three blocks before paige’s hand is on your thigh.
not resting—gripping—tight, warm, sliding under your dress like she owns the road and you.
“pull over,” she mumbles, voice hot against your ear. “baby pull the fuck over.”
“paige,” you breathe, laughing a little. “we’re almost—”
“no,” she cuts you off, already unbuckling her belt. “can’t wait. not even a little.”
you swerve into a dark parking lot, heart racing. the second you throw it in park, she’s climbing over the console, lips crashing into yours.
“fuck,” she moans, straddling you. “been wantin’ you since the orange carpet.”
you hum into her mouth, letting her tug your dress up to your waist. “then take me.”
her fingers slide straight to your core, groaning when she feels how soaked you still are. “of course you’re already wet. such a good fuckin’ girl.”
you moan, head falling back. she takes advantage, lips attacking your neck, hands rough and urgent.
“you look so hot drivin’ like that,” she whispers, voice filthy. “little hand on the wheel, thighs out, not a thought in that pretty head.”
you whimper, hips chasing her touch. “you’re such a dick.”
“you’ll survive” she smirks, pushing two fingers in slow.
you gasp, clenching. her fingers are deep already, curling up perfectly like she’s memorized your body.
“please,” you pant, gripping her chain. “don’t stop.”
“not planning to,” she says, kissing your cheek, your jaw, your nose. “you’re mine tonight. gonna ruin you.”
you’re breathless already. squirming under her, clutching the seat like it’ll keep you grounded.
“so perfect,” she groans, fucking into you slow and deep. “always so tight for me. always so ready. you fuckin’ love this.”
you nod frantically. “i do. i love you.”
she kisses your forehead soft. “i love you too. more than anything.”
then she speeds up.
harder. deeper. her thumb finds your clit and she grins when your whole body jerks.
“you close? aww already?” she whispers, forehead pressed to yours. “c’mon, baby. cum for me.”
you fall apart in her arms, moaning her name like a prayer. she doesn’t stop.
“p-paige—”
“i know,” she breathes, kissing you hard. “i know, baby. gimme one more.”
your hips twitch, thighs shaking, but she keeps going. keeps fucking you through it, thumb still circling.
you whimper, trying to close your legs. she pins them open easy.
“nuh uh. don’t run. take it for me. be my good girl.”
you cum again with a broken sob, body going limp. she kisses every part of your face, slowing down, wiping your tears.
“you okay?” she whispers, eyes searching yours. “too much?”
you shake your head, blinking through the pleasure. “so good. just—need a second.”
she kisses your lips, your cheek, your neck. “you did so good. took it so fuckin’ good, baby.”
you’re both quiet for a second. breathing hard, arms wrapped around each other, car fogged up.
then she grins. “backseat.”
you blink. “you’re not done?”
“not even close.”
you climb over the console, falling into the backseat with a laugh. she follows, pulling her strap from her bag with a look that makes your thighs clench.
“lay down,” she says, voice low.
you do—dress bunched, legs open, eyes locked on her.
she straps it on slow. cocky. teasing.
“gonna make you scream,” she says, sliding between your thighs. “and i’m not stoppin’ ‘til you beg me.”
you bite your lip, tugging her down by the chain. “what’re you waiting for?”
she grins. “i need you so fucking bad.”
and then she sinks in.
you gasp the second she fills you.
her hips grind down slow, deep, stretching you so perfectly you see stars behind your lids.
“that’s it,” she whispers, lips ghosting your jaw. “take it, baby. take it.”
you whimper, clutching at her shirtless torso, nails dragging down her back.
her hands grip your waist tight like she’s anchoring herself to you.
“you fuckin’ love this cock,” she groans, moving rougher now. “your little pussy’s so greedy.”
“yes, fuck, paige!” you cry, thighs trembling already.
she leans down, kisses your forehead sweet, completely unhinged everywhere else.
“you’re so perfect for me. so tight. so fuckin’ pretty.”
you moan louder, back arching, legs wrapping around her.
she shifts, hitting that spot that makes you cry out her name like it’s holy.
“there it is,” she smirks, breath hot. “right fuckin’ there. you’re so easy for me.”
“don’t stop,” you pant, gripping her chain, pulling her closer. “please, don’t—don’t stop.”
she slaps your thigh once, possessive and mean. “you think i’d stop now? after you left me jealous at the bar? nah, baby. you’re gettin’ all of it.”
your legs shake as she picks up the pace.
the car is humid, windows fogged, your moans filling the space like a soundtrack.
“gonna cum,” you choke, already falling apart under her. “please, please—”
“do it,” she demands, kissing you hard. “cum on my dick, baby. right now.”
you scream, body convulsing around her.
she fucks you through it, doesn’t let up, even when you start to push at her chest.
“too much,” you whisper, teary-eyed.
“nah, you got one more,” she breathes, watching your face. “just one more. be good f’me.”
she slips a hand down, fingers playing with your clit while her strap grinds deep again.
you’re sobbing her name, body overstimulated, but she keeps praising you through it.
“look at you,” she murmurs, kissing your jaw between thrusts. “taking it like a fuckin’ dream. you’re so good. you’re mine.”
you cum again, harder than before, legs spasming around her.
she slows, finally, kissing every inch of your skin she can reach.
your chest heaves. you’re fucked out and glowing.
“okay?” she whispers, brushing your hair off your face.
you nod, barely able to speak. “yeah. yeah, baby, i’m so good.”
she smiles, eyes soft but blown. “you’re unreal.”
you giggle, tugging her down for a slow, messy kiss. “so are you.”
she holds you, forehead pressed to yours, still inside you, refusing to let go.
“i couldn’t survive without you,” she breathes, serious now.
you smile, tracing her lip with your thumb. “i know baby. i know.”
“get on me,” she says, voice low, eyes dark, still inside you.
you blink, dazed. “paige—”
“now,” she growls, grabbing your hips. “you wanna act like a brat, flirtin’ at the bar, lettin’ me get jealous? then ride me.”
your breath hitches, “can you let it go? i wasn’t even flirting.”
she shifts back in the seat shaking her head no, legs spread wide, strap slick and glistening, waiting for you.
you crawl over, thighs shaky, cunt still pulsing from the overstimulation.
she doesn’t help you down—just watches, smug, arms behind her head proving she’s ready after waiting all night.
“c’mon, baby,” she taunts, licking her lips. “show me how bad you want it. sit on it like a good girl.”
you sink down slow, whimpering when the stretch burns all over again.
she groans, gripping your waist. “fuck—look at you. you love this. your greedy little pussy lives for my cock.”
you gasp, grinding your hips once, just to feel her deeper. she slaps your ass hard.
“don’t fuckin’ move unless i say.”
your nails dig into her shoulders, needy. “please—”
“not yet,” she says, smirking. “you don’t deserve it yet.”
you’re shaking, still full, still sensitive. she kisses your collarbone, all fake sweetness.
“sit pretty,” she says, breath against your skin. “i’ll tell you when to move.”
you whimper, hips twitching instinctively. she grabs your throat—gentle but firm.
“don’t test me, baby. you know how this goes.”
your eyes roll back as she flexes her thighs under you, grinding the strap just right.
“how bad do you wanna ride me?” she whispers, kissing your cheek. “tell me.”
“so bad,” you breathe, nails dragging down her chest. “i need it, paige, i need it so bad.”
she hums, tilting her head. “then beg. fuckin’ beg for it.”
“please,” you whimper. “let me ride you. let me cum, please—i’ll be good.”
“you will be good,” she says, finally nodding. “but you don’t get to cum ‘til i say. you come before that? i’ll flip you over and start from the top.”
you nod frantically, starting to move.
slow, deep rolls of your hips, her strap hitting you perfectly, already building heat again in your belly.
“that’s it,” she groans, gripping your hips tight. “ride me. just like that.”
you’re moaning nonstop, bouncing harder now, thighs burning, sweat dripping.
“fuck, you look so good,” she mutters, eyes locked on you. “you’re such a fuckin’ dream. tits out, legs spread, so wet for me.”
you cry out, losing your rhythm. she grabs your hips, helping you grind deeper.
“look at me,” she commands, grabbing your chin. “i want those pretty eyes on mine when i ruin you.”
you nod, mouth open, panting. she’s so deep—every stroke feels like fire.
“don’t cum,” she warns again, watching your face twist. “not yet, baby. be good.”
you sob, head falling to her shoulder. she pulls your hair, drags your mouth back to hers.
“you can take it,” she pants, voice dark. “you’re strong. you’re my good girl.”
“p-paige, i can’t—”
“you can. you will. hold it.”
she snaps her hips up, thrusting hard into you. you scream.
“fuck, fuck, please—please let me—”
“not yet,” she growls, fucking up into you relentlessly. “you’re gonna listen to me.”
your whole body’s trembling now. she slaps your ass again, grinding your clit into her stomach.
“so needy,” she hisses. “so dumb when you’re full. you’re mine. say it.”
“i’m yours,” you cry. “i’m yours, i’m yours, please—”
“look at you,” she moans, biting your neck. “so fuckin’ desperate. this tight little pussy’s clenching so hard—fuck—you’re so close.”
you nod, unable to speak, tears slipping down your cheeks.
she kisses them away.
“alright,” she whispers, breath shaky. “now. cum for me, baby. fuckin’ let go.”
you explode, body going rigid, then collapsing into her chest with a broken cry.
she holds you through it, arms around you, lips on your forehead, whispering praise.
“that’s my girl,” she breathes. “you did so good. so fuckin’ good f’me.”
you can’t speak. just breathe. just shake.
“shhh,” she soothes, stroking your hair. “i got you.”
you’re still full, still twitching, still boneless against her chest.
she presses one last kiss to your temple, hand on your back.
“i wouldn’t wanna celebrate tonight any other way,” she mutters, smiling into your skin. “you make me crazy.”

loser!könig
a simple photo of your breasts was enough for könig to become the most submissive and needy being in the entire universe. And how to blame him? It was the first time that a girl agreed to have a conversation with him without leaving him in seen or blocking him.
from that moment on, not a day went by when könig sent you a good morning message or a photo of his fat cock showing through his jeans. sometimes you ignored him or took a while to respond, but he always answered instantly. könig didn't mind staying up late talking to you or having to look at his cell phone constantly waiting for your response, he loved the little attention you gave him.
some nights he would surprise you by sending you videos of him masturbating while moaning your name and telling you in an agitated voice how much he needed you there with him. he set your photo as his wallpaper and, sooner rather than later, asked for your bank account information to send you money every time you delayed responding.
soon könig proposed that you meet him in his city, he wanted to meet you in person. you hesitated at his proposal but soon changed your mind when you noticed the amount of money he had sent you, it was enough to pay for a plane ticket to his city. it was all paid for, so how can you say no?
you met könig in a hotel room that he had reserved for both of you. in photos he looked huge and in person it was even more so. he covered almost the entire door frame, his muscles were visible through his t-shirt and his face expressed absolute desire. in his hand he carried a bouquet of roses that he had bought especially to receive you and a bottle of champagne.
you both didn't talk much. there was no need either, you both knew what you were going for.
könig had you under him, hugging your bare legs preventing you from escaping while his big cock entered and exited you. your pussy stretched deliciously with each thrust while your clitoris rubbed against his skin. könig breathed close to your face, fixing his gaze on every expression of pleasure and how you desperately asked him to slow down a little.
"cutie, i can't stop, i can't..."
könig increased the speed of his thrusts, sinking you into the mattress and approaching your face to kiss you desperately. your tongues played with each other and his alcoholic breath invaded you completely.
"are you going to cum? uh? i can feel your pussy squeezing my fat cock. come on, cum in my mouth."
könig pulled out of you and brought his mouth to your wet pussy. he licks and sucks every part of your folds like he's wanted to do it for a long time, and he did. he brought his large hands to your thighs and squeezed them tightly, preventing you from closing your legs.
you pulled his hair hard as your orgasm hit. könig moaned over your pussy and tried to collect all your flavor with his tongue.
before you could react, he sat up and positioned himself on top of you jerking his cock quickly while moaning your name. in a matter of seconds his abundant warm cum fell onto your belly and a moan of relief left his mouth.
"fuck, cutie... now, can you let me cum inside you, please, please?"
with a face like that, how can you refuse? :(

Taste of Temptation
Day 17 → Lactation Kink 💋 Lando Norris
Warnings: 18+ content and dubious consent
Kinktober Masterlist
Tumblr media
Lando leans against the edge of the pit wall, his arms crossed over his chest as Jon’s voice drones on in the background. He’s supposed to be listening. Focused. But all he can see is you standing a few feet away, talking to one of the engineers. The sun catches on the fabric of your dress, the deep V of the neckline, the way it clings to you in all the right places.
He shifts, swallowing hard, eyes dropping for what must be the hundredth time today to the way your chest looks in that dress. The low cut, the soft curve of your skin peeking out — it’s like you’re daring him to lose focus entirely. Which, clearly, is happening.
“Lando?”
Jon’s voice pulls him back, but only for a second. His head jerks in the performance coach’s direction. Jon’s got that look on his face, like he’s caught him out.
“Yeah, yeah,” Lando mumbles, dragging a hand through his hair. He tries to nod along, as if he’s been paying attention. “Sorry, what?”
Jon sighs, rolling his eyes. “Mate, we’ve been through this. Hydration’s key. You’ve got to keep on top of it, especially in this heat.”
Lando gives a vague nod, but his eyes flicker back over to you. The way your dress hugs your waist. The way you laugh at something the engineer says, tipping your head back just a little. And the way his mind goes utterly blank every time you smile. He’s barely aware of Jon still talking beside him.
“Water. You need water,” Jon says, more insistent this time, probably noticing Lando’s glazed-over expression.
“Water. Right,” Lando parrots, reaching for the bottle beside him on the bench. But his mind is still on you. Specifically, the way the soft fabric of your dress skims just below your collarbone. How it flutters a little when you move, revealing just enough to drive him mad.
He uncaps the bottle, eyes flicking between you and the opening, trying to focus. But it’s no use. You bend down slightly to tie your shoe, and Lando’s grip loosens. The water splashes out, missing his mouth entirely and drenching the front of his shirt instead.
“Shit-” he mutters, pulling back in surprise as cold water drips down his chin and soaks into the fabric. He blinks down at himself, as if confused by how it happened.
Jon bursts out laughing. “Hopeless,” he says, shaking his head. “Absolutely hopeless.”
Lando wipes at his chest with the back of his hand, but it’s useless. His shirt’s already sticking to his skin, and Jon’s laughter is still ringing in his ears.
“Shut up,” Lando grumbles, tossing the half-empty bottle aside.
“If you spent half as much time listening to me as you do staring at her-” Jon doesn’t even finish the sentence, his grin wide as he jerks his head in your direction.
“I wasn’t staring,” Lando mutters, though he knows it’s a lie. He wipes his mouth with the edge of his sleeve, glancing over at you to make sure you didn’t notice the whole debacle. You’re still talking to the engineer, seemingly oblivious to the scene that just unfolded.
“Right,” Jon says, sarcasm dripping from his voice. “Because you totally didn’t miss your mouth just now. Completely by accident.”
Lando scowls, but there’s no bite to it. He knows Jon’s got him. “It’s the heat,” he says, lamely, hoping that’ll shut him up.
Jon just laughs again. “It’s her, mate.”
Lando doesn’t respond, but his eyes flicker back to you, just for a second. Just long enough to catch another glimpse of the way your dress dips low, hugging your curves. It’s not fair, really. How is he supposed to focus when you look like that?
Jon claps him on the shoulder. “I don’t blame you,” he says, grin still in place. “But you’ve got a race in a couple hours. Maybe try and keep your head in the game, yeah?”
Lando shakes his head, a small smile tugging at his lips despite himself. “Yeah, yeah,” he mutters, wiping at his chest again, though the water has already seeped into the fabric.
Jon moves on, probably satisfied he’s gotten enough teasing out of Lando for now, and launches back into his lecture about hydration and recovery, but Lando’s barely listening again. His mind is still on you. Always on you. He watches as you push a strand of hair behind your ear, the sunlight catching in your eyes.
You turn then, like you can feel his eyes on you, and your gaze meets his. For a second, Lando’s breath catches. You smile, and it’s like everything else fades away. The noise of the paddock, Jon’s voice, even the upcoming race — it all falls to the background.
You tilt your head, raising an eyebrow in that way you always do when you know you’ve got him wrapped around your finger. And you do. You absolutely do.
Lando clears his throat, feeling his face flush, but he can’t tear his eyes away from you. He thinks about walking over, about wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you close, pressing a kiss to that spot just below your ear that always makes you laugh.
But before he can even take a step, Jon’s voice cuts in again. “Seriously, mate. Focus.”
Lando tears his gaze away from you, shooting Jon an annoyed look. “I am focused.”
Jon just snorts. “Yeah, sure. On her.”
Lando rolls his eyes, but there’s no point denying it. He’s not focused, not on anything Jon’s saying, not on the race coming up, not on anything other than you.
You make your way over, that same knowing smile still on your lips, and Lando feels his heart skip a beat.
“Hey,” you say, voice soft as you come to stand beside him.
Lando’s throat goes dry. “Hey.”
You glance down at his still-damp shirt, your smile widening. “You miss your mouth again?”
He groans, scrubbing a hand over his face. “Don’t start.”
Jon chuckles from the side. “Told you. Hopeless.”
You bite your lip, trying — and failing — not to laugh. “You okay, babe?”
Lando gives a half-hearted shrug, but he’s smiling. “It’s your fault,” he says, motioning vaguely toward your dress. “How am I supposed to focus when you wear stuff like that?”
You glance down at yourself, then back up at him, feigning innocence. “Like what?”
Lando groans again, louder this time. “You know exactly what I’m talking about.”
You laugh, a soft sound that makes his chest tighten. “I don’t know, I think you’re just easily distracted.”
Jon claps him on the shoulder again, a knowing grin on his face. “That’s what I’ve been telling him.”
Lando swats Jon’s hand away, shaking his head. “You’re both the worst,” he mutters, but he’s smiling, warmth spreading through his chest as you step closer, your fingers brushing lightly against his.
“Good luck today,” you say, voice dropping to a low murmur, just for him.
He exhales slowly, his pulse quickening as he meets your eyes. “Thanks.”
Your hand lingers against his for a second longer, your touch soft and warm. Then, with one last smile, you turn and walk back toward the paddock, leaving him standing there, heart racing and mind thoroughly distracted.
Jon shakes his head, a soft laugh escaping him. “You’re a goner.”
Lando doesn’t even bother arguing this time. He watches as you disappear into the crowd, his mind still filled with thoughts of you, the race the furthest thing from his mind.
“Yeah,” he mutters under his breath, smiling to himself. “I know.”
***
Lando lies on his back, his head propped up by a couple of pillows, the dim glow of his phone the only light in the room. It’s late, and the soft hum of the bathroom fan is the only sound breaking the quiet, accompanied by the faint rustle of you finishing your nightly routine.
He can hear the running water and the occasional clink of bottles as you move through the familiar steps — cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer. It’s a comforting routine, and Lando knows it well by now, having watched you do it a hundred times.
He scrolls through TikTok absentmindedly, his thumb flicking up the screen as random videos play in quick succession. His eyes glaze over as he watches one of those “get ready with me” videos, someone talking about their outfit for the day. He’s not really paying attention, though. Mostly, he’s just waiting for you to join him in bed. He glances at the door, hoping you’ll finish soon.
Another swipe, another video. This time, it’s a new mom talking to the camera, her face glowing with a mix of exhaustion and pride. Lando’s thumb hovers over the screen, ready to flick to the next one, but something about the video holds his attention.
“I was really struggling to breastfeed,” the woman says, her voice soft but earnest. “Nothing was working, and I was starting to feel like a failure, honestly. But then I found this cream, and I swear, it was a game changer.”
Lando’s brow furrows slightly, not really sure why he’s still watching, but he doesn’t scroll away. He listens as the woman continues talking about how she had trouble producing milk, how nothing seemed to help until she tried this one product.
“I’m not even kidding,” she says, holding up a small jar to the camera. “Within days, I started lactating. It was a godsend.”
Lando blinks, his mind catching on that word — lactating. He suddenly feels hyperaware of his own body, of the stillness in the room, of the faint sound of you moving around in the bathroom. His eyes drift back to the video, watching the woman gesture to the cream like it’s a miracle. His mind starts to wander, unbidden, to thoughts of you.
He hesitates for a moment, his thumb frozen on the screen, but his brain is already running wild with the idea. The thought of you with milk. His mouth goes dry, and he quickly glances toward the bathroom door again, half-expecting you to walk out and catch him watching this bizarrely specific video. But you’re still busy inside.
He swallows hard, feeling a strange mix of curiosity and something deeper stirring in his chest. He taps the screen, pulling up the link the woman left in the video description. The product is right there, easy to order, just a few clicks away.
Lando’s thumb hovers over the “buy now” button. It’s stupid. Ridiculous, even. Why is he even considering this? But the thought won’t leave his head. The idea of you using this cream, of your body responding to it — it sends a shiver down his spine. His heart starts beating faster, a strange kind of excitement bubbling up inside him.
He bites his lip, staring at the screen, his mind spinning with the possibilities. His fingers twitch, almost moving on their own as he clicks the button, the order processing before he can even fully think it through.
The confirmation pops up, and he quickly deletes the email notification, his fingers moving quickly to erase any trace of the purchase. His heart races, a weird thrill running through him at the secrecy of it all. He tosses his phone onto the nightstand, feeling slightly breathless, like he’s just done something he shouldn’t have.
The bathroom door creaks open, and Lando’s head snaps up. You step out, the soft light from the bathroom spilling into the bedroom for a moment before you turn it off. You’re wearing one of his oversized t-shirts, your hair pulled back into a messy bun, skin glowing from your skincare routine. You look comfortable, relaxed, and Lando feels a sudden wave of warmth in his chest.
“Finally,” he says, a teasing smile tugging at his lips. “I thought you got lost in there.”
You roll your eyes, climbing into bed beside him. “I wasn’t that long.”
“You were,” he insists, shifting to make room for you. “I’ve aged years waiting for you.”
You laugh, sliding under the covers and snuggling up next to him. “You’re dramatic.”
“Maybe,” he concedes, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you closer. “But you do take forever.”
You nudge him playfully, but you settle into his side, your head resting on his chest. “Good things take time,” you say with a smirk.
Lando chuckles, but his mind is still spinning, the image of that video replaying in his head. He glances down at you, his arm tightening around you just a little, and his mind drifts to the thought of you filled with milk. The idea is strange, foreign, but it’s lodged in his brain now, and he can’t shake it.
You let out a contented sigh, your hand resting on his stomach, fingers idly tracing patterns on his skin. “What were you watching?” You ask, your voice soft, almost sleepy.
Lando stiffens for a second, his heart skipping a beat. “Uh, nothing much,” he says quickly, trying to sound casual. “Just the usual nonsense.”
You hum in response, seemingly satisfied with the answer, and Lando relaxes slightly. He presses a kiss to the top of your head, trying to push the thought of the cream out of his mind. But it lingers, that strange curiosity gnawing at the edges of his consciousness.
“What’s got you so quiet tonight?” You ask after a moment, your voice laced with amusement. “You’re usually more talkative.”
Lando hesitates. He knows he should just let it go, that this whole thing is ridiculous, but part of him wants to say something. He bites his lip, unsure of how to even bring it up.
“I was just thinking,” he says slowly, his voice a little tentative.
“About?” You prompt, lifting your head slightly to look at him.
Lando meets your gaze, his heart pounding. “Have you ever thought about … I don’t know, trying something new?” He asks, his voice carefully measured.
Your brow furrows, curiosity flickering in your eyes. “New? Like what?”
He hesitates again, feeling a bit stupid for even considering bringing it up. But the image is so vivid in his mind, and he’s suddenly desperate to know what you’d think. “Like … I don’t know. Different things. Stuff you wouldn’t normally try.”
You raise an eyebrow, clearly intrigued now. “Lando, you’re being weirdly vague. What are you talking about?”
He lets out a nervous laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. “Forget it. It’s dumb.”
But you don’t let it go. You shift, turning to face him more fully, your eyes narrowing slightly. “No, no. Now I want to know. What ‘different things’ are you thinking about?”
Lando feels his face heat up, the words stuck in his throat. He can’t just come out and say it — hey, what if you tried this cream that makes you lactate? He’s sure you’d look at him like he’s lost his mind.
“Uh … just stuff,” he mutters, looking away. “Like, in general.”
You study him for a moment, a smirk tugging at your lips. “You’re acting really weird,” you say, your voice teasing.
Lando forces a laugh, trying to brush it off. “Yeah, well. It’s been a long day.”
You don’t push any further, but there’s a playful glint in your eyes as you settle back against him, your head resting on his chest again. “You’re such a mystery sometimes, Norris,” you say with a grin.
He lets out a relieved breath, thankful you’re not pressing the issue. He wraps his arm around you again, trying to focus on the comfort of having you next to him, on the way your body fits so perfectly against his. But the thought still lingers, a quiet hum in the back of his mind. The idea of you, your body changing in that way, is intoxicating in a way he hadn’t expected.
As the minutes tick by, the room growing quieter and more peaceful, Lando can’t help but wonder what you’d think if you found out. Would you laugh it off, or would you be curious too?
You shift beside him, letting out a soft sigh, and Lando presses another kiss to the top of your head, trying to push the thoughts away. For now, he’ll keep it to himself. But the secret sits there, buzzing quietly in the background, waiting for the right moment to resurface.
“Goodnight, babe,” you murmur sleepily, your voice soft and content.
“Goodnight,” Lando whispers back, though his mind is far from quiet.
As you drift off, he lies there, wide awake, his mind replaying that video over and over, wondering just what he’s gotten himself into.
***
Lando can barely contain his nerves when the package arrives, neatly wrapped in brown paper with no label to give away its contents. He picks it up from the doorstep and quickly tucks it under his arm, heart racing as he slips back into the house.
You’re in the kitchen, humming softly to yourself as you prep dinner, completely unaware of the small box that holds so much significance for him. He glances at you, trying to act casual, but the adrenaline surging through his veins makes his hands feel shaky.
He slips into the bedroom, closing the door quietly behind him. With a quick glance over his shoulder to make sure you’re still out of earshot, Lando opens the package. The cream is small, unassuming, and he feels a strange thrill pulse through him as he holds it in his hands. The video flashes through his mind again — lactation — and it sends a familiar shiver down his spine.
For a moment, he hesitates. Should he really go through with this? He’s already in too deep, though. The thought of you, your body responding to this, is far too intoxicating to back out now. He tucks the cream into his nightstand drawer, hiding it carefully beneath some old receipts and random clutter. Just as he’s closing the drawer, he hears your footsteps coming down the hallway.
Quickly, Lando stands up, smoothing out his shirt and stepping back into the main area of the house, meeting you with a wide grin as you finish setting the table. You look relaxed, but he can see the faint tension in your shoulders — like maybe work’s been getting to you again. He watches you closely as you move around the kitchen, biting his lip in thought. This could be the perfect moment.
“You look tense,” he says, leaning against the counter as you place two plates of food on the table.
You glance up at him, a small smile tugging at your lips. “Yeah, it’s been a long day,” you admit, rubbing the back of your neck.
Lando steps closer, wrapping his arms around your waist from behind and pressing a soft kiss to your temple. “I was thinking …” he murmurs, his voice low, “maybe I could give you a massage later? Help you relax a bit.”
You lean into his touch, your smile widening. “That sounds amazing.”
“Good,” he says softly, the hint of a plan forming in his mind. “I even got some new lotion that’s supposed to be great for massages. Thought we could try it out.”
Your eyes flicker with interest as you glance up at him. “Fancy,” you tease, but there’s an unmistakable warmth in your voice. “When did you become such an expert?”
He chuckles, pressing another kiss to your cheek. “I’ve always been an expert when it comes to you,” he says, his voice playful, but there’s a sincerity underneath that makes your smile soften.
Dinner passes in a comfortable haze, your conversation light and easy, but Lando’s mind is already fast-forwarding to what’s coming next. He watches you across the table, taking in every detail of your movements, your expressions, the soft rise and fall of your chest as you talk about your day. His heart pounds harder with every passing moment, anticipation building.
Later, after you’ve both cleaned up and changed into more comfortable clothes, Lando pats the space in front of him on the bed, motioning for you to lie down. You oblige with a soft laugh, stretching out on your stomach, your hair cascading down over one shoulder.
“You’re too good to me,” you murmur, resting your cheek on the pillow.
Lando grins, feeling the familiar rush of affection surge through him. “You deserve it,” he says, settling onto the bed beside you. He grabs the regular lotion first, squeezing a bit into his hands and warming it up between his palms. He starts slow, his hands gliding over your back, working into the tension in your shoulders with practiced ease.
You let out a contented sigh, your body relaxing under his touch, and Lando takes his time, savoring every second. He loves seeing you like this — completely at ease, trusting him completely. He kneads into the muscles of your back, his thumbs working in small circles, and you hum softly, your breathing deepening.
“Mmm, that feels amazing,” you mumble, your voice sleepy.
Lando smiles to himself, continuing the massage. His hands move lower, massaging the small of your back, then your sides, and down to your legs. He’s methodical, deliberate, taking his time so you can fully relax.
After a while, he pulls back, his heart thudding in his chest. Now comes the part he’s been waiting for.
“I think you’re due for a flip,” he says with a soft chuckle, giving your side a gentle nudge.
You laugh softly, rolling onto your back and stretching your arms above your head, completely relaxed. Your t-shirt rides up just slightly, revealing a sliver of skin, and Lando’s pulse quickens. He keeps his expression neutral, though, not wanting to give away what’s about to happen.
“Ready for more?” He teases, keeping his tone light.
You nod, your eyes half-closed in contentment. “Bring it on.”
Lando reaches for the nightstand, his fingers brushing the drawer handle with a quick flick. His heart skips a beat as he retrieves the small jar of cream, careful to hide the label from your view. He sets it down beside him, moving slowly so you won’t notice anything out of the ordinary.
He starts with your arms, using the regular lotion again, his touch gentle and soothing. He rubs the lotion into your skin, working it over your shoulders and down your forearms. You sigh again, completely lost in the sensation, and Lando’s chest tightens with anticipation. He knows it’s almost time.
Finally, his hands trail down to your chest. He hesitates for the briefest second, his eyes flicking to your face to make sure you’re still relaxed. You are — your eyes closed, a faint smile on your lips, your body completely at ease beneath his hands.
Perfect.
Lando quietly switches the jars, scooping a small amount of the special cream onto his fingers. He rubs it between his palms, warming it up, and then he lowers his hands to your chest, his breath catching slightly as his fingers make contact with your skin.
His touch is gentle, almost reverent, as he smooths the cream over the soft skin of your chest, taking extra care to massage it in thoroughly. His hands move in slow, deliberate circles, making sure to cover every inch of you, but he’s careful — so careful — not to make you suspicious. He doesn’t want you to know what he’s doing. Not yet.
You let out a soft, contented hum, your body sinking even deeper into relaxation, and Lando’s heart races in his chest. He can feel the cream sinking into your skin, the thought of what it might do sending a shiver down his spine.
“How does that feel?” He asks, his voice low and steady, though his pulse is anything but.
“Amazing,” you murmur, your voice heavy with sleep. “You’re really good at this.”
Lando chuckles softly, continuing his slow, deliberate movements, his hands brushing over your chest, his fingers lingering just slightly on your nipples. He massages the cream into them carefully, making sure they’re completely covered, his touch as light as a whisper.
You sigh, your chest rising and falling under his hands, and Lando feels a wave of heat rush through him. The thought of you, your body responding to this cream, the idea of you producing milk, it’s all so overwhelming, and he has to take a deep breath to steady himself.
“Good,” he murmurs, his voice soft and warm. “Just relax.”
He continues the massage for a little while longer, his hands lingering on your chest, making sure every bit of the cream is absorbed. You’re so relaxed now, your body completely loose and pliant beneath his touch, and Lando feels a strange sense of satisfaction as he watches you.
Eventually, he pulls back, wiping his hands on a nearby towel and setting the jar of cream back into the drawer, hiding it away once again. He glances at you, lying there with a peaceful smile on your face, completely unaware of what he’s just done.
Lando lies down beside you, pulling the covers over both of you as you shift closer, snuggling up against him. Your head rests on his chest, your arm draped over his waist, and Lando wraps an arm around you, holding you close.
“You really are too good to me,” you murmur, your voice soft and drowsy.
Lando presses a kiss to the top of your head, his heart still racing with a mix of excitement and anticipation. “I just want you to feel good,” he says quietly, his voice barely above a whisper.
You hum in response, already drifting off into sleep, your body completely relaxed against his. Lando lies there in the quiet darkness, his mind buzzing with thoughts of what’s to come, of the changes that might happen now that you’ve used the cream.
He tightens his arm around you, feeling a strange sense of satisfaction settle over him. It’s all in motion now. There’s no going back.
“Goodnight,” you murmur sleepily.
Lando smiles to himself, his chest tightening with anticipation. “Goodnight,” he whispers, but his mind is far from rest.
***
It’s been weeks since Lando first started using the cream. Every night, he waits for the perfect opportunity: after you’ve fallen asleep, your breathing soft and even, or when you come home exhausted and practically beg him to give you a massage. He’s gotten careful, precise. Every time his hands glide over your skin, rubbing the cream into your chest, a thrill courses through him.
He hasn’t said a word, hasn’t let on that anything is out of the ordinary. Every time you lean into him with a content sigh or drift off into a deeper sleep, he feels more confident, more sure of what he’s doing. The anticipation is almost unbearable at times.
And then, one morning, it happens.
Lando’s sitting on the edge of the bed, scrolling aimlessly through his phone when he hears it — your scream. It’s sharp, panicked, and it sends a jolt of adrenaline rushing through him. He’s up in an instant, his phone slipping from his hand as he bolts toward the walk-in closet where your voice came from.
“Babe?” Lando calls, his heart hammering in his chest. He rounds the corner into the closet, eyes scanning frantically until they land on you, standing in front of the full-length mirror, frozen in place.
You’re staring at your reflection, wide-eyed, your hands hovering over your chest as if you’re too afraid to touch. His eyes follow your gaze, and that’s when he sees it — the two dark spots blooming on the fabric of your dress, right over your breasts. Wet, unmistakable, and spreading slowly.
“What the hell is this?” You whisper, your voice shaky, a mixture of confusion and panic creeping in. “Lando, what is this?”
Lando swallows hard, his mind racing. This is it. The cream has finally started working, and now you’re standing there, completely unaware of what’s been happening. He can see the fear in your eyes, the way you’re trembling just slightly, and he knows he has to act fast.
“Whoa, hey, hey, it’s okay,” Lando says quickly, stepping toward you, his hands outstretched in a gesture of reassurance. “Let’s just take a second, okay? Breathe.”
You glance at him, your eyes wild, and he can see how much this is freaking you out. “Lando, I — this isn’t normal! Why is this happening?” Your voice cracks slightly, and you press a hand over one of the wet spots, as if trying to stop it from spreading further.
Lando moves closer, gently taking your hands in his. He forces himself to stay calm, even though inside, his pulse is racing with a strange mix of excitement and guilt. He can’t let you see that, though. Not now. Not when you’re looking at him like you’re terrified of what’s happening to your body.
“Okay, okay, let’s think about this,” Lando says, his voice steady. “It’s probably just, you know, hormones or something. These things can happen sometimes, right? Bodies do weird stuff.”
You blink at him, still looking unconvinced. “But I’ve never-” you start, but your voice falters. “Why now? I haven’t done anything differently. This is just … weird.”
Lando bites the inside of his cheek, trying to figure out how to spin this without raising any red flags. He can’t let you know about the cream — not now, when you’re already so shaken. He needs to make this sound as natural as possible, something that just happens, something you won’t question.
“Hey, remember that article you showed me a while back?” He says, grasping at straws. “The one about how stress can mess with your body? Maybe it’s that? You’ve been working a lot lately, right? It could be your hormones reacting to all the stress.”
You frown, clearly still confused, but Lando can see a flicker of understanding pass over your face. You do work hard, and lately, you’ve been talking about how exhausted you feel. Maybe that’ll be enough to explain this away, to keep you from digging any deeper.
“Stress can do this?” You ask, your voice still shaky but a little more composed now.
Lando nods, giving your hands a gentle squeeze. “It could. And, you know, hormones fluctuate all the time. Maybe this is just your body’s way of reacting to everything going on. It doesn’t have to be a big deal.”
You look down at the wet spots again, your brow furrowing as you process his words. “But I’ve never had this happen before,” you say quietly. “This is just … I don’t know, Lando, it feels weird.”
Lando pulls you closer, wrapping his arms around you in a comforting embrace. He presses a soft kiss to your temple, trying to calm the nerves still buzzing in your body. “I know it’s weird,” he murmurs, his voice gentle. “But we’ll figure it out, okay? If it keeps happening, we’ll talk to someone. But right now, let’s just take it one step at a time.”
You nod slowly, your head resting against his chest, and Lando can feel the tension in your body slowly start to melt away. He holds you close, his heart still pounding in his chest, but he knows he has to keep it together. He can’t let you see how deep this goes — how much this was part of his plan all along.
After a few moments, you pull back slightly, glancing down at the dark spots again with a sigh. “I should probably change,” you mutter, a hint of frustration in your voice.
Lando chuckles softly, trying to lighten the mood. “Yeah, might be a good idea.”
You offer a small, half-hearted smile, and Lando can see that you’re still processing everything. But at least you’re not panicking anymore, not freaking out like you were a few minutes ago. That’s a good sign.
He watches as you turn back to the closet, rifling through your clothes for something to change into. His mind is still racing, though. Now that the cream is working, what happens next? Will you notice more changes? Will you start asking questions? He doesn’t know how long he can keep this a secret, but the thought of stopping now feels impossible. He’s already too far in.
Lando’s gaze flickers to the mirror, where your reflection is visible. He watches you change into a fresh dress, the wet spots on the discarded one serving as a reminder of what’s happening. He bites his lip, torn between the thrill of seeing his plan take effect and the guilt gnawing at the edges of his mind.
You finish changing and turn to face him, still looking a little uncertain but calmer now. “Thanks,” you say quietly, your eyes meeting his. “For being so calm. I don’t know what I’d do if you weren’t here.”
Lando’s chest tightens at your words, a mix of emotions swirling inside him. He steps forward, wrapping his arms around you once more, pulling you close. “I’m always here for you,” he says softly, meaning every word, even if there’s a part of him that’s hiding something.
You rest your head against his chest again, and for a moment, everything feels normal — like nothing has changed. But Lando knows better. Things have changed. The cream has started working, and now, there’s no turning back.
As he holds you in his arms, Lando can’t help but think about what comes next. Will the changes continue? Will you start noticing more? He knows he has to tread carefully, but the excitement bubbling inside him is hard to ignore.
He runs his fingers through your hair, pressing another kiss to the top of your head. “We’ll figure this out,” he says quietly, though he’s already thinking about the next time he’ll use the cream, the next step in this carefully orchestrated plan.
You pull back slightly, looking up at him with a soft smile. “Yeah, I guess we will.”
Lando smiles back, but his mind is already racing ahead, filled with thoughts of what’s to come.
***
Lando lies in bed, staring at the ceiling. The room is dark, except for the faint glow of the moon seeping through the curtains, casting soft, silvery light across the room. Next to him, you’re asleep, breathing softly, curled up under the blankets. He watches you for a moment, his heart heavy with an intensity he can’t quite explain.
It’s been days since the incident in the closet, since you first noticed the signs, and while you’ve brushed it off as a hormonal blip — just as he suggested — it’s been gnawing at Lando’s mind constantly. He can’t stop thinking about it, about what’s happening to your body, about the secret he’s been carrying.
And tonight … tonight is different. There’s something humming in the air, something that feels both electric and inevitable.
Lando shifts onto his side, facing you, his eyes tracing the soft curve of your form under the covers. He watches the gentle rise and fall of your chest, knowing exactly what’s happening beneath the fabric of your shirt. The thought sends a jolt of heat through him, a heat he’s been trying to ignore, but it’s becoming too strong now, too insistent.
He knows he shouldn’t. He knows this crosses a line he’s already been walking dangerously close to for weeks, but the temptation has been building, slowly tightening around him until it feels like there’s no escape.
Carefully, he reaches out, his hand hovering just above your shoulder. You’re still fast asleep, unaware of the storm brewing in Lando’s mind, unaware of the secret desires he’s been hiding. His fingers brush your shoulder lightly, testing the waters, and you don’t stir. He lets out a quiet breath, inching closer.
His hand moves down, grazing the fabric of your shirt, feeling the warmth of your skin through it. His touch is featherlight, deliberate, as he pulls the blanket back, just enough to give him access. The moonlight bathes you in a soft glow, illuminating your form in a way that feels almost surreal. Lando’s pulse quickens, and he swallows hard, his mouth dry as his hand lingers near your chest.
He shouldn’t. He knows he shouldn’t.
But his body moves before his mind can stop it.
Slowly, so slowly it feels like time is crawling, Lando slips his hand under your shirt. The fabric slides up, exposing your skin to the cool night air, and his fingers move over the soft swell of your chest. He can feel the warmth there, the subtle heaviness that wasn’t there before, and it makes his head spin.
He pauses, his hand resting over your chest, his breath shaky. He’s trying to be careful, not to wake you, but his body is tense with anticipation, with something deeper, something that feels dangerous and thrilling all at once.
Lando leans in, his lips hovering just above your skin. He hesitates for a moment, heart racing in his chest, before pressing a soft kiss to the curve of your breast. You stir slightly, but don’t wake, and the rush of relief that floods through him is intoxicating.
He moves lower, his lips trailing gentle kisses along your skin, until he reaches the peak of your chest. The fabric of your shirt is bunched up just above his hand, and Lando carefully pulls it higher, exposing more of your skin. His breath catches in his throat as he sees it — the faint trace of moisture beading at the tip.
It’s real. It’s happening.
His mouth goes dry again, but his body moves on instinct, drawn to the sight in front of him. He leans in, his lips brushing against your skin, and then … he tastes it.
It’s warm, sweet, unlike anything he’s ever tasted before. The sensation sends a shock through him, his entire body lighting up with something primal, something he didn’t even know was there. He presses his lips more firmly against your skin, drawing more of it into his mouth, the sweetness flooding his senses.
You stir again, shifting slightly in your sleep, and Lando freezes, his heart hammering in his chest. But you don’t wake. He lets out a slow, controlled breath, his lips still hovering over your chest.
His mind is racing, caught somewhere between guilt and an overwhelming need that he can’t explain. He knows what he’s doing is wrong — he knows he’s crossing a boundary — but it’s too late. He’s too far gone, too consumed by the feeling of you, by the taste of you.
Lando pulls back just enough to look at your face, making sure you’re still asleep, and when he sees that you are, he dips his head again, pressing his lips against your skin once more. He’s careful, deliberate, trying to keep his movements gentle, but the sensation of tasting you, of feeling the warmth of your body beneath his lips, is making it harder and harder to control himself.
He wants more.
His hand moves higher, slipping further under your shirt, until he’s cupping your chest in his palm. The weight of it feels different now, heavier, and the thought of it sends another jolt of heat through him. He squeezes gently, drawing more of the warm liquid into his mouth, and it takes everything in him not to make a sound.
You let out a soft sigh in your sleep, and Lando’s heart skips a beat. He pulls back again, his lips parting as he stares down at you, his mind spinning. He can’t believe what he’s just done, can’t believe how far he’s let himself go.
For a moment, he just sits there, watching you, his hand still resting on your chest, his breathing shallow. His lips are still tingling from the taste, from the sensation of it, and he knows he’s in too deep now. There’s no going back from this.
Lando carefully pulls your shirt back down, his movements slow and deliberate as he covers you again. He tucks the blanket around you, making sure you’re warm, before lying back down beside you, his heart still pounding in his chest.
As he lies there, staring up at the ceiling, his mind is a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. He knows he should feel guilty — he knows this is wrong — but all he can think about is the taste of you, the way it felt to have that small, secret part of you all to himself.
He turns his head to look at you, your face peaceful in sleep, completely unaware of what’s just happened. The moonlight casts a soft glow over your skin, and Lando feels that same overwhelming rush of affection and desire that’s been building for weeks.
He knows he should stop. He knows this can’t go on. But as he lies there, listening to the sound of your breathing, all he can think about is when he can taste you again.
***
Lando collapses onto the small couch in his driver’s room, drenched in sweat and utterly exhausted. The Qatar heat was brutal, and the race had taken everything out of him. His entire body feels heavy, his muscles aching, his skin sticky from the mix of sweat and the desert air. His mind is foggy, still reeling from the intense focus he’d maintained for hours. Dehydration was a real issue here, and it hit him harder than he expected.
“Bloody hell …” he mutters, leaning his head back against the wall, eyes closed.
You’re there almost immediately, a soft, comforting presence at his side. You place a hand on his knee, your touch warm and reassuring.
“You okay?” You ask, your voice soft but full of concern.
Lando opens his eyes slightly, giving you a tired smile. “Yeah … just need to rehydrate. I feel like a raisin.” He forces a chuckle, though his voice is rough, throat dry from the heat.
You stand, quickly moving to the small fridge in the corner of the room. “I’ll get you some water,” you say, already pulling out a bottle and twisting off the cap. “You need to replenish your electrolytes too. You’re completely wiped.”
Lando watches you, his mind still hazy, but there’s something about the way you move, the way you’re so focused on taking care of him, that pulls him out of his fog. You’re always like this after a race — attentive, calm, making sure he’s okay before you even think about yourself. He loves that about you, the way you care for him in these quiet, personal moments.
But today, there’s something else on his mind. Something he’s been thinking about for weeks, ever since that night in bed.
Lando licks his dry lips, his heart picking up speed as a thought crosses his mind. You’ve been by his side this entire time, completely unaware of what he’s been doing, of the secret he’s been keeping. He’s managed to keep things under control, to keep his obsession at bay, but now … now he’s not sure if he can.
He watches as you return to him, holding the bottle of water and a sports drink, and sits down beside him. You hand him the water first, but he hesitates, his fingers curling around the bottle without taking a sip.
“What’s wrong?” You ask, your brow furrowed as you look at him.
Lando swallows, his mouth dry, but not just from dehydration. His eyes flick to your chest, lingering for a moment before quickly returning to your face. “I, uh … I was thinking,” he says, trying to keep his voice casual, though his heart is pounding in his chest. “Maybe I could … try something else.”
You blink at him, confused. “What do you mean?”
He hesitates, his mind racing as he tries to find the right words. He knows he’s pushing it, knows this is dangerous territory, but the thought of tasting you again — of having that secret part of you, especially now, when he’s so raw and exhausted — feels impossible to resist.
“I mean,” he starts, his voice low, “maybe I could try … you.”
Your eyes widen slightly, and you glance down at yourself, clearly taken aback. “Me? Lando, what are you talking about?”
He shifts slightly, his body tense, but his gaze stays on you, steady despite the pounding of his heart. “I know it sounds weird,” he says quickly, before you can protest. “But … I’m so dehydrated, and … you know, with everything that’s been happening, I just thought … maybe it could help.”
You stare at him for a moment, clearly trying to process what he’s saying. “You … you want to …”
He nods, his throat tight as he watches your reaction. “Just a little. I mean, it’s natural, right? And you’ve been producing, so … I thought it might help. If you’re okay with it.”
You’re silent for a long moment, clearly taken aback, and Lando can see the uncertainty in your eyes. His heart pounds harder, the tension in the room thickening as he waits for your response.
Finally, you let out a breath, glancing down at yourself before looking back at him. “You really think it’ll help?”
Lando nods again, though he knows that’s not really the point. It’s not about the dehydration, not really. But you don’t need to know that. You don’t need to know how much he’s been thinking about this, how much he craves it.
“I think it might,” he says softly, reaching out to gently place a hand on your knee. “Just a little. If you’re comfortable with it.”
You bite your lip, clearly still unsure, but there’s a softness in your eyes, a desire to help him, to take care of him in whatever way you can. Slowly, you nod.
“Okay,” you say quietly. “If you think it’ll help.”
Lando’s heart skips a beat, a rush of excitement flooding through him as you agree. He shifts closer to you on the couch, his hand sliding up your leg to rest on your thigh as he looks into your eyes.
“Are you sure?” He asks, his voice low, though he’s already leaning in, already feeling the pull toward you.
You nod again, though there’s still a hint of hesitation in your expression. “Yeah. I just … I didn’t expect this.”
Lando smiles softly, trying to put you at ease, though inside, his mind is racing. “It’s okay,” he murmurs, his hand gently squeezing your thigh. “We’ll take it slow.”
You take a deep breath, and then, with a small nod, you lift the hem of your shirt, exposing your chest to him. Lando’s breath catches in his throat, his eyes immediately drawn to the soft curve of your skin, the subtle sheen of moisture that’s already starting to form.
His mouth goes dry again, but this time, it’s not from the heat.
He leans in slowly, his hand sliding up to cup your breast as his lips brush against your skin. You tense slightly under his touch, but you don’t pull away, and Lando takes that as his cue to continue. He presses a soft kiss to your skin, his heart racing in his chest as he feels the warmth of you beneath his lips.
For a moment, he just stays there, breathing you in, savoring the closeness. Then, slowly, carefully, he opens his mouth and takes you in, drawing the sweet liquid into his mouth.
The taste hits him instantly, flooding his senses with warmth and sweetness. It’s just as he remembered — no, better. The heat, the exhaustion, the rawness of the race — it all amplifies the sensation, making it feel more intense, more real.
He can feel you tense again, a soft gasp escaping your lips, and he pulls back slightly, looking up at you with wide eyes. “You okay?” He asks softly, his voice thick.
You nod, though your breathing is shaky, your hand coming up to rest on his shoulder. “Yeah … I’m okay. It’s just … different.”
Lando nods, understanding, but he can’t stop now. He leans in again, his lips pressing against you once more as he drinks from you, taking in the warmth, the sweetness. It feels like he’s finally giving in to something he’s been craving for so long, and the rush of it makes his head spin.
He moves his hand gently, squeezing softly as he continues, feeling the way your body reacts to him, the way you tremble under his touch. It sends a thrill through him, a deep, primal satisfaction that he can’t explain.
You let out a soft sigh, your fingers tightening on his shoulder, and Lando feels a surge of heat in his chest. He’s careful, though — he doesn’t want to push too far, doesn’t want to scare you. He pulls back after a moment, looking up at you again with that same soft smile.
“How was that?” He asks, his voice gentle.
You look down at him, your expression still a mix of confusion and something else — something softer, more vulnerable. “It was … okay,” you say quietly. “Just … unexpected.”
Lando nods, reaching up to gently brush a strand of hair behind your ear. “Thank you,” he murmurs, pressing a soft kiss to your shoulder. “I feel a lot better now.”
You smile at him, though it’s a small, uncertain smile, and Lando knows that this is something you’re still processing. But for him … for him, it feels like the beginning of something he’s been waiting for. Something he’s been craving.
As you pull your shirt back down and settle beside him on the couch, Lando leans back, his heart still racing, his mind spinning with everything that just happened. He knows he’s playing with fire, knows that this secret is dangerous, but for now, he’s content.
***
Lando is lying on the couch, lazily scrolling through his phone, the sound of the TV humming in the background. It’s a quiet afternoon, the kind of rare downtime that he savors between races. His body still feels the residual tension from the last few weeks, the physical demands of driving through the relentless heat of Qatar lingering in his muscles.
You’re in the bedroom, sorting through some things. Lando hears the occasional thud of a drawer closing, the rustling of clothes. Everything feels normal. Calm, even.
Until it isn’t.
“Lando!”
Your voice slices through the quiet, sharp and tense. His heart stutters in his chest. The way you say his name — it’s not in the usual tone. There’s something off about it, something more than the usual annoyance over small things.
He sits up, his phone forgotten in his lap. “Yeah?” He calls back, trying to sound casual, but there’s a tightness in his throat.
You appear in the doorway, and immediately, Lando knows something’s wrong. You’re holding something in your hand — a small, innocuous-looking jar. But he recognizes it instantly.
The cream. The cream he thought he’d hidden well enough.
He swallows hard, his pulse quickening. “What’s that?” He asks, feigning ignorance, but his voice wavers ever so slightly.
You step closer, holding up the jar. Your eyes are sharp, full of confusion, but also something else — betrayal, anger, hurt. “I found this,” you say, your voice tight. “In the back of the drawer. Where you obviously didn’t want me to find it.”
Lando shifts uncomfortably on the couch, his mind racing as he tries to come up with an excuse, anything to diffuse the situation. He hadn’t expected this. He thought he’d been careful. “It’s just … it’s just some lotion,” he says, but even as the words leave his mouth, he knows they’re not enough.
Your eyes narrow. “Lotion? Lando, this is not just lotion. This is-” You pause, your breath shaky. “This is the cream that’s supposed to induce lactation, isn’t it?”
He feels his stomach drop. There’s no point in denying it now. You’ve found the evidence, and there’s no going back from this. But he can’t let you stay angry. He can’t let this ruin everything. He’s worked too hard to get to this point, and he doesn’t want to lose what he’s gained.
“Look, I can explain,” he says, standing up from the couch, his hands raised in a gesture of surrender. He tries to keep his voice calm, soothing. “I didn’t mean to hide it from you. I just … I thought it would help.”
You stare at him, your expression a mix of disbelief and anger. “Help? Help with what, Lando? You’ve been putting this on me without telling me! Do you realize how messed up that is?”
He steps closer, his heart pounding. “I know. I know it sounds bad. But I didn’t mean for it to be like this. I just … I wanted to try something new. I wanted to feel closer to you.”
You shake your head, incredulous. “Closer to me? By making my body do something without my knowledge? This is so far beyond okay. This is — this is a violation of trust.”
Lando feels a surge of panic. He can’t let this spiral out of control. He can’t let you leave, or worse, shut him out. He takes a step closer, his voice dropping to a softer tone, almost pleading. “I didn’t mean to hurt you. I swear. I just-” He hesitates, then says, “I didn’t know how to ask for it.”
Your brows furrow, and you look away, your hand tightening around the jar. Lando can see the conflict in your eyes — the hurt, the confusion, the anger. And he knows that if he doesn’t do something now, he might lose you.
He takes another step closer, his voice gentle. “I’m sorry,” he murmurs, his hand reaching out to brush your arm. “I just … I couldn’t help it. I’ve been so obsessed with you, with us, and it felt … it felt natural. I didn’t want to scare you.”
You shake your head again, but your anger seems to falter, just a little. “This is … this isn’t something you just hide from someone. You can’t make decisions about my body like that.”
“I know,” he says quickly. “I know. I shouldn’t have done it without telling you. But I didn’t know how to bring it up. I didn’t want to make things weird between us.”
You look at him, your eyes searching his face, and Lando feels a small flicker of hope. He can see that you’re still upset, but there’s a crack in the wall you’ve put up, a softness starting to seep through.
He takes another step, closing the distance between you, his hand gently cupping your cheek. “Please,” he whispers. “Let me make it up to you. I don’t want to lose this. I don’t want to lose us.”
You sigh, closing your eyes for a moment, and Lando can feel the tension in the room shift, just slightly. He knows he’s not out of the woods yet, but he’s close. So close.
“Lando …” you begin, but he cuts you off by leaning in, pressing his lips to yours in a soft, desperate kiss. You hesitate at first, but after a moment, you kiss him back, your lips warm and familiar against his.
When he pulls away, his voice is low, almost a whisper. “Let me show you. Let me take care of you.”
You look at him, your eyes still conflicted, but there’s something else there now — curiosity, maybe, or a need for comfort. Lando takes that as his cue to continue, his hands moving to gently guide you to sit down on the edge of the bed.
“I’m sorry,” he whispers again, his hands moving to your shoulders, massaging gently. “I know I messed up. But I want to make it right.”
You don’t say anything, but you don’t resist either. Lando’s hands slide down your arms, soothing and gentle, as he kneels in front of you. He looks up at you, his eyes soft, pleading.
“Let me,” he murmurs, his hands moving to the hem of your shirt, tugging it up slightly. You hesitate for a moment, but then you nod, allowing him to lift it higher, exposing your chest.
Lando’s breath catches in his throat as he looks at you, the soft curve of your body illuminated by the dim light in the room. He presses a kiss to your stomach, his lips warm against your skin.
“I’ve wanted this for so long,” he whispers, his voice thick with emotion. “You’re perfect.”
You let out a shaky breath, your hand resting on the back of his head as he kisses his way up your chest, his lips trailing along your skin. He pauses at your breast, his lips hovering just above the soft peak.
“Please,” he whispers again, looking up at you. “Let me.”
You nod, your breath shaky, and Lando takes that as permission. He leans in, his mouth closing around you, drawing you in with slow, deliberate movements. The sweet warmth floods his senses, and he feels a rush of satisfaction, of need.
You gasp softly, your fingers tightening in his hair, and Lando’s heart swells with a mix of desire and relief. He’s got you now. He knows he’s distracting you, pulling you away from the anger, and it’s working. You’re softening under his touch, your body responding to him.
He coos softly, his lips never leaving your skin. “You taste so good,” he murmurs, his voice low and soothing. “So perfect.”
You let out a soft whimper, your hand gripping his shoulder as he continues, his mouth moving gently, rhythmically. He can feel you relaxing, the tension slowly melting away, and it fills him with a deep sense of satisfaction. He’s in control now. He’s guiding you, distracting you, making sure you’re focused on him and nothing else.
“It’s okay,” he whispers, his voice soft and coaxing. “I’ve got you.”
Your breathing is shallow, your body trembling under his touch, and Lando can feel the shift in the room. The anger, the hurt — it’s slipping away, replaced by something else. Something more intimate, more vulnerable.
He pulls back slightly, his lips still brushing against your skin, his eyes looking up at you with that same soft, pleading expression. “I’m sorry,” he whispers again, his voice barely audible. “I didn’t mean to hurt you. I just wanted to be close to you.”
You look down at him, your eyes still clouded with confusion and emotion, but you don’t pull away. Your hand stays on his shoulder, your fingers tightening slightly as if you’re holding on to him, grounding yourself.
Lando leans in again, pressing another soft kiss to your chest, his lips lingering there for a moment before he pulls back completely, sitting back on his heels and looking up at you.
“I love you,” he says quietly, his voice raw. “And I’ll do whatever it takes to make this right.”
You’re silent for a long moment, your chest rising and falling with deep, steady breaths. Finally, you speak, your voice soft, almost unsure. “This … this is a lot, Lando.”
He swallows hard, reading the uncertainty in your voice, feeling the weight of it settle between you. His heart races, but he knows he can’t push too fast. He doesn’t want to scare you, doesn’t want to lose what they’ve built. This delicate moment, the fragile balance between trust and something deeper — he can feel it teetering.
He stays where he is, kneeling at your feet, looking up at you with that same desperate softness in his eyes. His hands rest gently on your thighs, thumbs brushing back and forth, a soothing rhythm. He knows he has to choose his words carefully.
“I know,” he whispers, voice hoarse. “I know it's a lot. And I know I should’ve told you from the start. But …” He pauses, gathering his thoughts. “It felt right. The connection. The closeness. I just-”
Lando falters, unsure if he should say what’s really on his mind. That he's obsessed with the idea of you like this, that every time he sees you, he’s overcome with a need so deep, so primal, it almost scares him. But he swallows it back, not wanting to push too far, too fast.
Your gaze softens, and although the hesitation lingers in your eyes, you’re listening. You’re still here.
“I just wanted more of you,” Lando continues, his voice barely above a whisper. “Not just physically, but emotionally too. It’s been … it’s been overwhelming for me too, but I didn’t know how to explain it. I thought if we … if you … I don’t know. Maybe it was selfish, but I just-”
He looks down, his head hanging low as if ashamed, his hands still gently resting on your thighs. “I didn’t want to scare you off by talking about it. I thought you might think it was weird.”
Your hand reaches out, fingers lightly brushing the top of his head. He looks up at you again, the gentleness of your touch melting the knot of tension in his chest.
“I don’t think you’re weird,” you say quietly, the uncertainty still there but softer now, more understanding. “But … Lando, this is my body. You should’ve talked to me. We could’ve figured it out together.”
Lando nods quickly, his throat tightening. “I know, I know. And I’m so sorry for not being honest. I’ll do better, I swear. I’ll never hide anything from you again.”
Your thumb grazes his cheek as you watch him carefully, the anger you’d felt earlier fading into something else. Something gentler. “I just don’t understand why you didn’t ask me.”
He lets out a shaky breath. “I didn’t want you to say no,” he admits quietly. “Because … I don’t know if I could’ve handled that.”
Silence falls between you, thick with emotion. You let your hand fall away from his face, resting it in your lap as you consider his words, his vulnerability.
Lando can see the gears turning in your head, the mix of confusion, curiosity, and maybe — just maybe — something that mirrors his own desire. He watches you carefully, searching your face for any sign of where this might be heading.
Finally, you let out a soft sigh. “So, you … want me to keep … producing?”
Lando’s eyes widen slightly, and he nods, his heart racing again. “Only if you want to,” he says quickly, his voice soft but insistent. “I won’t push you. But … yeah. I do.”
Your gaze drifts down, and you chew on your bottom lip, thinking it over. Lando’s pulse quickens, the air between you charged with tension and something deeper, something unspoken.
After what feels like an eternity, you finally meet his eyes again, your expression hesitant but open. “And … you want to …”
Lando nods again, this time more firmly. “I do. But only if you're okay with it.”
The silence stretches again, but it feels different now. Lando can feel the shift, the softening. You’re not angry anymore. You’re curious, unsure, but there’s a flicker of trust in your eyes again. It’s fragile, but it’s there.
“You could’ve just asked me,” you say, your voice softer now, a hint of a smile tugging at the corner of your lips.
Lando exhales a breath he didn’t realize he was holding, his own smile breaking through the tension. “I know. I should’ve. I’m an idiot.”
You laugh softly, shaking your head, and the sound of it is like music to his ears. It’s a relief, like the storm clouds parting just enough to let a sliver of sunlight through.
He reaches out again, his hand gently resting on your knee, his touch warm and grounding. “But … do you want to?” He asks, his voice quiet, hesitant. “We don’t have to if you’re not comfortable. I mean it.”
You look down for a moment, your hands playing with the hem of your shirt, before meeting his eyes again. There’s still a flicker of uncertainty there, but now, there’s something else too. Something deeper. A kind of surrender, maybe, or an acknowledgment of the strange, intense connection that’s grown between you.
Finally, you nod, a small, hesitant movement. “Okay.”
Lando’s heart skips a beat. He wasn’t sure if he’d hear you say that, wasn’t sure if this moment would come. But now that it’s here, he feels a flood of emotion, a mix of relief, excitement, and something much deeper, something he can’t quite put into words.
“Yeah?” He asks, his voice soft, a little breathless.
You nod again, your gaze steady on his. “Yeah. I … I trust you.”
His chest tightens at your words, the weight of them sinking in. Trust. That’s what this all comes down to. You’re giving him that trust again, even after everything, and it means more to him than he can express.
Lando rises slowly, his movements careful and deliberate as he steps closer to you, kneeling between your legs again. His hands rest gently on your hips, his touch reverent, almost worshipful. He doesn’t want to rush this, doesn’t want to break the fragile balance you’ve reached.
“Thank you,” he whispers, his voice thick with emotion.
You nod, your breath a little shaky, but you don’t pull away. Instead, you reach down, guiding his hands to the hem of your shirt, helping him lift it up and over your head. The soft fabric falls to the floor, leaving your chest bare, vulnerable in the dim light.
Lando’s breath catches in his throat as he looks at you, his hands gently cupping your breasts. His thumbs brush over your skin, slow and deliberate, and you let out a soft gasp at the sensation.
“Are you okay?” He asks, his voice low and husky, his eyes searching yours for any sign of hesitation.
You nod, your lips parting as you take a shaky breath. “Yeah. I’m okay.”
He leans in slowly, pressing a soft kiss to your chest, just above your heart. He feels the steady rhythm of your pulse beneath his lips, and it grounds him, reminding him of the connection you share.
His lips move lower, tracing a path along your skin, until he reaches your breast. He pauses, looking up at you one last time for permission. You nod again, your hand resting on the back of his head, gently guiding him closer.
And then, with a soft, reverent touch, Lando takes you into his mouth.
The sensation is immediate, overwhelming in its intensity. He feels the warmth of you, the sweet, rich taste filling his senses, and it’s everything he’s wanted, everything he’s imagined. You let out a soft moan, your body trembling slightly beneath him, and it only spurs him on.
His mouth moves slowly, rhythmically, savoring every moment, every drop. He’s careful, gentle, but there’s a hunger in him now, a need that he can’t deny. He’s wanted this for so long, and now that he has it, he can’t get enough.
You moan softly, your hand tightening in his hair, and Lando feels a surge of satisfaction, of deep, primal desire. He knows he’s crossed a line, knows that this moment is unlike anything you’ve shared before. But it feels right. It feels natural.
He pulls back slightly, his lips brushing against your skin as he murmurs, “You’re perfect.”
You let out a shaky breath, your body trembling beneath his touch. “Lando …”
He looks up at you, his eyes filled with a mix of desire and affection. “I love you,” he whispers, his voice raw. “I’ll always take care of you.”
And with that, you gently guide him back, helping him latch again. The room is quiet, save for the soft sounds of your breathing, the quiet intimacy of the moment wrapping around you both like a warm embrace.
And in that moment, nothing else matters. Just you, him, and the connection that binds you tighter than ever before.

A widow, a mourning would-be mother—naive amongst your youthful glaze, the softness in your features as you stare down the two brothers from across the long, crowded table. It has only been a fortnight now, but your face proves entirely unsuspecting.
This meeting was about you—not of your late husband, not of legality or current issues to address, but your qualification to have a spot amongst men. Most were unaware of your puppetry with your late husband and his place in the senate—an older man triple your age that had brought you for a price.
Easily to manipulate, easy to convince.
“There is no place here for a mockery like this,” An older gentleman with stringy, greying hair chirped up from his seat, fist tucked under his wrinkled chin, eyes carefully examining your figure, licking his split, dry lips, “she is young—negotiate a price with her father and—”
“He is dead,” You state flatly, a piercing glare shot down the line toward the spoken male, seemingly ticked by the sound of your voice, expecting submissiveness, “And I will assure the price is one you will never afford.”
Caracalla, as aloof as he was, seemed to snicker at that. A high-pitched cackle that slips from his lips as Geta raises a brow, his mouth hidden behind his curled fingers, opposite hand spread out wide on the arm of his throne.
“I am well versed,” You address both of the emperors directly, “Educated—my husband would be displeased to hear me say this, but he was not the smartest man. I have lost more than just him, but I am not here to beg.”
There was no love lost, fortunately. He wasn’t a good or bad man, only a man. He frequented brothels often, voiced his displeasure when you weren’t serving him correctly, and only forced a child upon you because of societal standards. It was distressing, still deep in your own grief as you avoided the deadlocked stares from the surrounding men, praying that one of the two young emperors would have a soft spot, or even a weakness.
You would find it, if needed. But, Geta’s amusement was a comforting sign.
The same man, displeased with your presence, grips hard enough at his wooden cane that it starts to crack, “Better yet, force her to work in the brothel. Plenty of use for you there,” His gaze switches from the head of the table to you, nodding his head with a triumphant smirk.
“As I am sure your wife would love to hear about your visits,” There’s a collective tenseness, both of hands gripping the table and men shifting in their seats, eyes flickering back and forth between the volleying conversation, the dueling man’s face going slack, “do not act surprised, you keep company of men with loose lips, be thankful one of them has died with the rest of your pitiful secrets.”
Geta clears his throat then, sharing a brief moment with his brother as they nod in unison.
“I will consider this,” He begins, tongue swiping along the inside of his bottom lip, “given the suddenness of—”
“Your highness, do not fall victim to her deception, she is—”
“If you value that head of yours,” Geta’s words are biting, quick, “you will not interrupt me when I am speaking.”
He’s highly temperamental, the dagger he’s spent twirling in his hand for the past several minutes tossing lazily against the wood as he flicks a hand up dismissively, “Get out of my sight,” He excuses them all, aside from his finger pulling like it was held on a string to aim in your direction, “you—stay.”
You’ve just resigned yourself to death, surely.
The wine is dark, staining his upper lip as he drinks, clunky rings tapping against the glass of his cup as he passes you off a cup of your own. He had his own private quarters, opposite of his brother and hidden down a long, trailing hallway, an office-like room attached to his quarters.
You weren’t going to defy his command as unsettling as it felt, his glittering and colorful robe dragging against the tile floor as you stood silent, a comfortable distance away.
Your dress was unbearably tight, back straight as an arrow while your shoulders ached, but you didn’t waver, didn’t slouch. Your breasts spilled over the fabric, barely covered by the shawl draped over your shoulders, signs of motherhood that had yet to dissipate. You cleared your throat, shuffling quietly on your feet.
“I do not like nervousness,” Geta announces, turning his head over his shoulder as he swivels his body to lean against the edge of the desk—the room was clearly unused, aside from now.
“I am not nervous,” It wasn’t that at all, rather an uncertainty.
“Drink,” He suggested, nodding his head toward your full glass, “it will help.”
He doesn’t seem to believe you and you defy his order further, traveling toward him to rest the glass against the desk, hands settled at your stomach as you look at him, his eyes carefully tracking your movement as he sloshes the wine around in his mouth, a fingertip trailing the rim before he mirrors your actions.
“G—your highness,” You begin indecisively, “forgive me for sounding…selfish, but is there something you require? Do I serve a purpose being here?”
“What are your current living arrangements?” He asks suddenly, fingers curled around the edge of the desk, tilting his head in question.
“I am living under the selflessness of a senator’s wife—though, if he knew, it would not be welcomed with open arms,” Geta is aware of your steadfast gaze, rare that you ever looked anywhere but his face, not the usual roaming nervousness he had become acquainted with.
“Ah,” He chuckles, “If I may pry—well, I am…is it—”
The man who had challenged you earlier with a wife too gracious for her own good.
“Yes, unfortunately.”
Geta contemplates—he wasn’t against you having a voice within his council, aware that it wouldn’t be well-met, but there was a way to ensure safety and submission; he's learned to mold and shape to achieve what he wants at the lift of a finger. It was a mix of power and practiced manipulation.
“You will relocate here, to the palace,” He informs, “as an extra measure and because I am fond of your…bite,” His mouth upturns in a lazy smirk, “you will be well cared for here, I assure you.”
A man who was far too fond of his toys, you notice the glint in his eyes as soon as his expression morphs. Greed; he could have everything and even that wouldn’t be enough.
It was only minimally amusing, his confidence.
And within a few hours and a few snaps of his fingers, you were set up comfortably in your own room, a pleasant conversation with his less than stable brother and the obedient monkey perched on his shoulder—he was endearing, but visibly paranoid.
You refuse the help of the servants as you attempt to retire for the night, brow furrowed in frustration as you reach unsuccessfully for the tied string of your dress, resilient and stubborn in your unwillingness for help as you curse to yourself, half a second from ripping the fabric in half before the door to your room is opening quietly, creaking on it’s hinges.
“I assure you, they are here for a reason,” Geta remarks fondly, the faint fire of the candles lit around your room painting him in a warm glow, softening an unusually rigid man, he approaches without a word as you relent, hands curling around the edge of a nearby chair, his hand working methodically along the knotted fabric at your back, a few minutes passing before he’s tugging it loose, a breath of relief slipping beyond your lips.
Geta takes a few steps back, ringed fingers interlocked behind his back as he watches you expectantly, watching quietly as you turn with your arm clutching the fabric to your chest, hair loosened, your face relaxing into a natural scowl.
“Do you require anything of me?” You ask, curious of his lingering presence but not feeling threatened or undermined—shockingly, he seemed unsteady. Unsure. His confidence failed him for the first time in his young life, “If there is…something you would like to address, I will listen.”
“When did you marry?” An odd start, but you answer with ease.
“Fifteen—he promised my family wealth, it was a simple trade. They died not long after. Tuberculosis, or so I was told,” You shift from one bare foot to another as Geta’s lips pull together in a narrow line, “You know, we are not much different.”
That grabs his attention, his eyebrow raising in a silent question as you approach slowly, arms crossed over your chest now, holding the fabric in place, “Coyness is unbecoming, Emperor.”
“Enlighten me,” Geta replies, his restless hands finding their way over the collars of his robe as he tightens it around himself, joining him near the end of your bed—a strange thing to claim; this entire room, yours.
“If my math proves me right, we are of the same birth year,” You begin, “—those men, your advisors, they severely underestimate you and Caracalla. They are scared of you, yes. But, if given the chance, they would strike you down without a thought,” He turns his head, blinking away a sour expression, feeling particularly bare despite his state of dress.
Your gaze was powerful, intense, even Geta could not handle it.
“I am trying to say that I understand,” You clarify, tilting your head to catch his eyeline, reaching out slowly to provide a comforting touch, hands curling around his wrist, “not that I understand your role and the burden it carries, but being young and overlooked. I have felt that, I still feel it.”
He’s never been approached so openly—though he prefers the proclivity of men who bow down without question, his psyching was always searching for something more. A poor boy without love, or meaningful relations. You offer a soft smile as he turns his head to you.
“You came here for a reason,” You remind him, “—make it clear.”
His eyes follow the steady rise and fall of your chest, your fingers curling over the rough, coarse lining of the dress as it pushes your breasts up, his tongue trailing along his bottom lip in a wordless hunger.
“Did you plan to force yourself upon me?” You ask curiously, his face flushing with embarrassment, “Or, perhaps, hope that I would be charmed by you?”
“It is rare that I am denied,” He explains, like a petulant kid preparing to be denied their favorite toy, “—but, you are not mine.”
“I belong to no one,” You clarify, “I am not a whore, or a servant. We are…equals, yes?”
“Not entirely,” Geta counters, still donning the crown on his head—more subtle than the formal one he wears around, a delicate band of gold leaves adorned with gems, “but, it seems—”
You smirk slightly to yourself as you reach forward with one hand, plucking the band gently from his hair and tossing it aside to the bed, fingertips trailing down to his chin as you tug his face to look at you.
“You need not put on a performance for me,” You comfort him, his features softening as his eyes flicker toward the crown, “it is as simple as just asking, Geta.”
At level ground, it feels more appropriate. If he wanted your head, he would have it.
Eagerness invades his mind, clawing forward as his palms form to your neck, jaw, lips pressing against yours with impatience, a hum of hunger laying in wait in his throat. For a second, you allow it. Indulge in the simplicity of desire that has been long forgotten, sighing fervently against his mouth before you’re taking grip of his robe and forcing him back, his eyes blackened with lust and his mouth open, blinking with confusion.
“Ask me,” You demand him, “I have allowed so many in my life to take, not this. Not you.”
Geta clears his throat hastily, closing his mouth, gathering the immense willpower it took to listen, comply, “May I—may I kiss you?”
You nod, a grin spreading across your face as he lunges forward eagerly once more, held back by your surprisingly powerful grip, unaware of how your dress had shifted down, held up solely by the body contact against Geta, chest to chest.
It was teasing, taunting him with the ability and control you had over him, lips grazing against his testingly as he laughs too, a quiet and joyous noise as you finally let him have it, arms wrapping over his shoulders as his own hands roam down your sides, around your back and down your side, squeezing a hand at your thigh and bringing it up, high enough that it can rest at his hips, his fingers kneading into the exposed skin near the slit of your gown, toying with the delicate skin that he could reach.
You revel in the neediness, an intense feeling of want washing over you, his nose following the lines of your face as they nudge at your chin, forcing your head up as his kisses trail down, spit slicked lips pressing into your skin, bodies separating as you dress falls, as bare as he under his own robe, plump breasts pulling his eyes down, a slow blink and an instant flick up towards your face.
“Seems the effects of motherhood are taking their time to dissipate,” You admit, his fingers twitching at the sight of them, “If that is an issue we can end this he—”
“No,” He growls, “it—sorry, it is not.”
You reach for his hands quietly, his gaze following your direction as you cup them over your breasts, the heavy weight of them in his hands, the gentle squeeze that would otherwise make you wince but instead has your thighs clenching together. Geta was practically salivating at the sight, mesmerized by the fullness and warmth, his thumbs rubbing carefully over your hardened nipples, a small opaque drop of liquid painting his finger.
You grab his thumb suddenly, shoving his hand away at the sight.
“Despite a loss my body continues to provide,” You explain, “ It is not a lot, but it lingers.I have tried…everything to will it away.”
“Why?” Geta asks, looking up at you with newfound curiosity.
“It is not ideal, you see—”
“Who has told you this?” Geta pesters, watching the liquid drip down his finger before he brings it to his mouth, “I see no issue.”
Your nose twitches in uncertainty, his fingers trailing an abstract pattern into the underside of your breasts, around the side, admiring, “I have always been curious,” Geta admits, his voice trailing as you slowly guide yourself to sit on the bed, the emperor following in suit as he kneels against the edge of the mattress between your open thigh, “did he appreciate your body for everything that it was?”
“He was barren,” You admit, “He liked my mouth on his cock and that was all. He did not care for much else or my pleasure at that, he was much too inadequate anyways.”
He doesn’t address the glaringly obvious admittance—a much longer story for another time that neither of you cared for at the moment, “May I?” He asks politely, his hot breath ghosting over your chest as you nod, his mouth latching onto your skin in an instant.
It starts at the center of your chest, face buried between your breasts as he pulls his robe open, aided down by the push of your hands, his alabaster skin contrasting the plum sheets, his knee rising briefly to push into the sheets as you catch a glimpse of his cock, hanging heavily and intimidating in its size, anticipating of the stretch if you allowed him so far.
His tongue follows a planned path, along the underside of your breasts and around your nipple, grazing over the pebbled skin with the subtle taste of sweetness seeping into his taste buds as his lips wrap around and such, the faintest push of teeth in your skin as his eyes peer up at you, your brow furrowing in delight at the sudden shock to your cunt, nothing like you’ve felt before.
You did not know pleasure like this, a fair trade. It was a shock to the system.
He’s looking for acknowledgement, trading off to share the same care to the other breasts, his free hand trailing to the side of your face and under your neck, cradling you with a gentle touch as the hand on your breasts curls around and squeezes, sucking gently at your breasts as his head tilts into your comforting touch, your opposite hand turning as you run your knuckles alongside his jaw.
“Sweet boy,” You praise, “is that what you wanted?”
As if he hadn’t been eyeing you the entire meeting, breasts squeezed together as you leaned daringly over the table to argue with your aggressor, quenching the hunger all day with a steady diet of wine and the assorted fruit placed around the palace, always within reach, watching you quietly.
He nods slightly, distantly, as he’s focused on his current task.
“Geta,” Formalities forgotten by now, his eyes widened as you stare at him, rising on your elbows with a waiting expression, “have you lost your tongue?”
“It would—it would seem I have not,” He chuckles with a knowing smirk, swiping his tongue around your nipple in a circular motion, “I am pleased, yes.”
He shifts his arms around you, curled fists landing in the sheets beside your head, his cock sliding against the inside of your thigh as he settles to his knees, a fresh flush to his chest as he admires your state of nakedness, trailing two wondering fingers from your chest to your pelvic bone, a slow dance in the low light of the room.
You nudge his hand away, “You are eager,” You note with a fond tone, watching as began to lean into you, eager to capture your lips once more, but your fingers are pressing over his lips before they reach their destination, shaking your head in disapproval, “I have ideas for better use of that mouth, Emperor.”
He pulls back with grin, his teeth dragging over his bottom lip as you filter your fingers through his ginger hair, curling your hand over the back of his head as he bows, settling on his belly with his cock trapped between the sheets, slowly his nose buries into the coarse curls, his tongue dragging down the seam of your pussy.
Geta can only liken it to a taste of the divine, or the closest he would ever reach, settled between your open legs with a mission to please, to satisfy. And for the first time in his life—serve someone other than himself. Normally he would bark at the informality of things, only allow his given title, a strict instruction of a bowed head and obedience, but he finds himself bending to your rule and dropping to his knees, if you demand.
“You have your wits and sharp tongue,” He hums against your cunt, a delightful noise slipping out as you tug at his hair, “I suggest you put them to good use.”
As he does, you find yourself drifting.
He is precise, thorough—which is not at all expected from a man of his status, or any man, really. They were never concerned with the pleasure of anyone but themselves, but Geta has proven you wrong in many ways as undesirable as his ruling may be.
You only cared for your life anymore, witnessing how delicate it could be when it came to everyone around you.
He likes to watch, too. It isn’t at all surprising, eager for praise he brings you to a quick and intense, but fleeting orgasm. It swells in your stomach, the heat pooling before it explodes, hearing the satisfied groan as he licks you clean, murmuring a shaky, “Good–good b-boy,” as you force yourself to catch your breath, allowing him to climb his way back up your body with the head of his cock nudging at your entrance, both of you sighing into the shared space as your foreheads meet and Geta was completely at your control, awaiting your next command.
“Are things often like this?” You ask curiously, “Is this what you seek?”
Domination; someone to submit to.
In a daze, he shakes his head, lips parted slightly.
“Do you enjoy that I make you feel this way?”
He smiles, sated, nodding in response.
“I want to feel you,” It was a whispered request, his eyes searching your face—again, even just the nudge of his cock between your folds was enough to make you tense and you find your own fingers drifting between your legs, dipping inside of you as he looks down, mesmerized as you guide his hand to his cock, wrapping your fingers around his as you work together in tandem.
When his brow draws together, you guide him inside of you, staving off his impending orgasm.
“Slow,” You instruct, hands traveling to grip his face, nodding his head between your hold, “You are…quite large, I am not used to that,” Geta seems to find a surge of confidence at that, leaning forward greedily to capture your lips, his teeth dragging along the fleshy skin as he angles his and pulls back slowly, entering you at the same pace despite the impatient shake to his body, eager for more, “slow—slow, look at me,”
“You’re obedient,” You praise, “far more than I expected.”
“My brother likens you to a goddess,” Geta notes, the odd timing sending you into a gentle snort of laughter, “I must say I agree, you are mesmerizing.”
“I prefer Caracalla not be a topic as your cock is buried inside of me,” You retort with a kind smile, his own morphing into a frown of concentration as your knees hike around his hips, encourage him to lean his weight against you as he rocks his hips, a gentle rhythm that is drowned out by the sounds of the city at night.
His itching impatience grows tiresome, gripping desperately at whatever skin he could reach, pitiful moans of pleasure inked into your skin with the silent plea of more—please, more?
“Make me come once more,” You urge him, “and take what you need.”
It was all he needed to hear, taking the opportunity to slip out of you as he guiding you toward your stomach, guiding one knee up toward your chest as he hovered over you, turning your head to face him as he pushed his cock back inside of you, your walls fluttering around him in satisfaction of being filled again.
There was a perfect view of the sky this way, a small alcove open to the night breeze, stars twinkling against the contrasting colors of midnight, “It is beautiful,” He begins, not admiring the same sight as you, a shakiness to his voice as he pumped his hips at a nearly unbearable pace, eyes fluttering shut as the pleasure overtook you.
He’s panting into your skin, a feeling you’ve experienced in plenty of other circumstances, with a well-versed ability to separate yourself from your body as men chase their pleasure, but with the emperor, it was a different experience.
A cacophony of small whimpers followed by an utterances of words you’re not sure he or his brother have spoke often, “Please—-please, may I—“
The gravity of the situation flips as you realize your mistake, giving a man with far too much reach and power any type of influence over you, your brain searching for a way to counter his plea as you turn your body, arm wrapping around the back of his neck as he shakes with his impending orgasm.
Words are lost, unable to speak before he’s pulling out of you, the drip of his warm seed coating your skin, the tight grip at your chest loosening in an instant.
Thank the gods, you pray silently.
“I apologize,” He breathes heavily, bottom lip swollen and red from the mutilation of his teeth, chest flushed bright and burning, “if—if I scared you.”
He uses his discarded robe to clean you up, unthinking of the consequences as he leaned back to stand, fully nude as he extends his hand in wait, beckoning you closer.
“Scared me?” You challenge, curling your hand into his own as he pulls you up, legs bracketing his thighs as your hands come to rest against his abdomen, staring up at the emperor.
“Your bark is quite frightful,” He admits, “I can only imagine how you would rip me apart had I gone too far,” His words trail, a softening to his voice as he curls his hand around the side of your face, a gentle gesture.
“Would you like that, Geta?” You ask with a creeping suspicion, a smirk spreading across your face, “For me to rip you apart?”
A man of such power, unrestrained and chaotic—shrinks.
Almost too shy to admit it.
“Careful, my lady,” He warns, “I am still a ruler of Rome, such disrespect is—”
“Punishable by death,” You confirm, “but, you promised me safety, yes?”
Geta nods silently, watching the slow crawl of your fingers up his chest before they grab his chin, your thumb smoothing over the dimpled skin, his lips pulling apart in a shaky exhale.
“And I am sure a good boy like you will keep that promise?”

enemies(?) w benefits!heeseung x f!reader
a/n: well here we go first lil drabble hehe
wc: 767
"you're fucking enjoying this, aren't you?" heeseung growled, absolutely ruining you every time his cock slipped back inside your dripping cunt. your hands were pinned against the mattress above your head by one of his, leaving your body fully exposed to him. your head fell back, letting out a moan you'd been trying so hard to hold back. "you say you hate me yet you love my cock so much that you keep coming back for more,"
you despised him but you couldn't deny just how good he made you feel. it embarrassed you just how easily he could get you riled up despite how angry he made you. you hated the way you found yourself wanting him, craving his touch. what made things worse was that he knew the effect he had on you, and that he wasn't afraid to use it against you.
he was relentless, degrading words slipping out every chance he got. your walls clenched around him at his words, pushing a groan past his lips at the tight sensation. "i wonder what your friends would think if they knew just how much of a slut you are for me, just how many times you've let me fuck this pretty pussy, yeah?"
“fuck you,” you glared at him, voice weak and shaky.
“already are, sweetheart,” he chuckled, clearly amused by your futile attempt to knock him down a peg. heeseung released your wrists, head dipping down to your chest. he took a nipple between hip lips, sucking and licking at the skin. your back arched against him, pushing your chest up against his mouth. your fingers carded through his hair, gripping and tugging at the dark strands.
“and you fucking love it,” you scoffed, taking a jab at the way he’s just as shameless as you are. “mmh, calling me at two in the morning, b-begging to come over– who’s really the whore here?”
“fuck yeah i do,” he’s admitting with zero hesitation, a smirk spreading across his face. glancing down, his gaze fixated on watching the way his cock disappeared within you. he pulled his lip between his teeth, small grunts slipping out with each thrust. the bed creaked beneath you, neither noticing the way the headboard slammed against the wall. “i mean– can you blame me? pussy’s so good, fuck,”
your newly freed hands found purchase on his shoulder and forearm, nails clawing at his skin harshly. subconsciously, you moved your hips in a way that changed the angle in which he pounded into you, allowing him to nail that spongy spot inside you that left you weak. you’re gasping out in pleasure, his name leaving your lips in a cry. your body was left reeling, the steadily growing pressure in your abdomen bordering its limit.
he was panting above you, eyes squeezed shut as he was trying his damnedest to not only keep his composure but stave off his rapidly approaching orgasm. sure, he may be an asshole, but your pleasure will always come above his own.
“f-fuck, hee! m’gonna—!” you were writhing under him, your moans turning into desperate whines as your body practically begged to be thrown over the edge.
“yeah? cum for me then,” he whispered with a cocky smile despite the fact that he was just as close as you were in that moment. his hand slipped between you, thumb starting to rub harsh circles into your clit. “cum on the cock you claim to hate so much,”
that was all it took. you were crying out his name, your entire body shuddering as your orgasm washed over you. your hands gripped at him like your life depended on it, the intensity leaving you breathless.
heeseung hissed out as your walls tightened down around him, the sensation all he needed to reach his own high. with one final thrust, he tensed up with a broken, choked moan as he came, filling you to the brim with his cum.
he remained still for a moment, catching his breath before slowly pulling himself from you. he stares, watching the way the mix of yours and his releases dripped out of your abused hole and onto the sheets beneath you. your chest was still heaving, trying to catch your breath after it all.
you were immediately tired, falling asleep within minutes while heeseung proceeded to get dressed and gather his things. almost as quickly as you fell asleep, he was headed toward the door.
that’s all it was between you. blowing off steam when you needed it, and neither of you thought it any different.
then why did he hesitate and look back before walking out?

Tumblr media
There was no. fucking. way.
Your boyfriend, Hwang In-ho and frontman, actually joined the game. You watched intently as he walked through the gap between the two groups of people. One was on the ‘O’ side and the other on the ‘X’ side. He was the last to vote since he was player 001. The voting went from the last player to the first.
He paused at the table, eyes moving back and forth from the two buttons in front of him. The silence was intense, heavy. Then, his hand moves to the red button… what the fuck? No, actually… he didn’t press it yet. He halts, his hand still in the air. You can see his head turning to the blue button… and he presses it, making the count bump up an extra one. Of course he did.
At the end of the vote, the ‘O’ side won, which means that the game will continue. The opposing side looked clearly frustrated. I mean, you couldn’t blame them. This game costs their lives if anything.
Soon, the speaker announces: “The lights will go out in… 3… 2… 1”
Then, the lights shut down, darkness consuming the room. The screen showed the room with heat detection, you could now only see red silhouettes of the figures. Carefully, you inspected the figures and spotted a familiar one moving. The door to the room suddenly opened and the figure passed through the threshold.
Not long after, you suddenly got a call on the corded phone. The ringing of the phone echoed through the room. You hesitated to pick it up, carefully locking eyes onto the device. Your hand grazed the keypad of the phone, and you picked it up.
“Hello?” you ask the other voice.
“[Name],” his voice crackles through the phone, low and cold. “Are you watching?”
You can hear the slight rustling on the other end, but it’s not enough to make sense of what’s happening. The silence starts again before he continues, “I need you to stay quiet. Don’t try anything funny.”
You can feel your heartbeat picking up pace as you strain to hear any background noise. The weight of his words presses on you. “I’ll be with you again. Soon.”
You knew the man was crazy, but you hadn’t expected something like this… or maybe you did. He often spoke about ‘joining for fun’. There was nothing fun about the whole thing though.
“I don’t think I can really go anywhere,” you respond, still able to hear the rustling in the background.
“Good.” he says before hanging up. The phone call closed with a long beep.
This bitch somehow managed to find a way to dictate your life, despite being trapped in a game surrounded with many other people. Honestly, he’d probably find some other way if he couldn’t call you.
The next few days, you watched as he blended into the crowd of players and played his own game. Surprisingly, but also unsurprisingly, he managed to survive game after game. Though, he probably wouldn’t have died even if he lost. The fear of the other players, the chaos, the high stakes, it unnerved you.
The worst part about it was his calm, cold demeanor only grew more unsettling as he navigated the games with ease. There was no doubt in your mind that he was doing this for his own amusement, but you couldn’t tell what his goal was. Was he playing to win, or was he just having fun with the entire ordeal? Either way, it made you sick.
Every day, you were forced to watch from the sidelines, your mind consumed with thoughts of what might happen to him… or to you. You still hadn’t heard from him since that last phone call, but you could feel his presence in every corner of this twisted game. His control over you, over everything, was absolute. The way he operated, making sure his every move was calculated, was nothing short of terrifying. He was always somehow one step ahead, he could always predict future movements with precise accuracy.
He hadn’t just entered the game to survive, you swore he had entered it to manipulate it. You could only wonder what his true intentions were as you waited, trapped in this nightmare. Every moment you spent here, unable to escape, only added to the sickening realization that no matter what happened, you were always going to be his pawn. A toy in his little game.
The door suddenly clicked open, and in came two of the triangle-masked men. They hadn’t said anything and just stood near the door.
“What do you want?” you ask, shattering the silence of the room.
“Boss asked us to ensure your safety ma’am,” one of the men replied.
“I don’t need your fucking protection. How many times do I have to say that?” you spat fiercely. You didn’t even know if they were enjoying the torment with the boss or just doing their job. You’d probably guess the latter but the choice of workers this year was… very peculiar. Most of the people were nut-jobs, taking up weird & dangerous jobs prior to joining the ‘squid game’.
“Boss insists,” the other states, like you didn’t know.
You roll your eyes at the response and just sent them a deathly glare. “I honestly never wanted this… and I highly doubt you wanted it either,”
Silence followed, none of them responded.
It was supposedly nearing the end of the whole operation and it started to get interesting. Seong Gi-Hun, or player 456, had hatched a plan to attract the guards and when they got close enough, he would attack. The others, including your boyfriend, joined the plan.
The fight was already brutal. A purple-haired guy was already brutally stabbed to death by a fork and so many of the other players met the same fate as well. Blood was splattered all over the walls and floors, you couldn’t even imagine how long the cleaning’ll take.
The situation started to escalate as it turned into a gun-war. The masked group was obviously having the upper hand, they had more manpower and resources. Honestly, you admired Gi-hun’s bravery. He probably knew this was a high risk mission, the whole thing would have some amount of sacrifices.
One-by-one, they took down the masked men and it seemed like they actually had a chance. But you knew In-ho probably wouldn’t let that happen. And as you expected, he took down the two men with him. It didn’t take him long to flee the scene and go back to hiding behind the scene.
The door opened, and in came the infamous leader.
“So… you’ve had your fun… what now?” you speak up, interrogating him.
He pauses, stops in his place, you can see it from the reflection on the screen. His gaze flickers to you, he was still in his green outfit with blood all over him. “Hmmm… I need to go back to being the front man,”
You turn your head towards him, giving him a small smile, not of gratitude or anything though. “You put up quite the show… who knew you could do all that?” you say teasingly.
“You really don’t know me at all, do you honey?” he responds, with just as much tease in his tone as you.
Hearing his tone, you got up from the sofa and grabbed a napkin from the table. One step after the other, you slowly got closer to him and wiped the blood off of him.
“How sweet of you,” he says. “What changed?”
You stop after hearing the question. It was true, just a second ago you were angry at him. And it all just dissipated in thin air, what is happening to you?
“Nothing, just missed my boyfriend,” you giggle. “You should go change now.”
“I think we have time…” he says, his hand grabbing a hold under your thigh. He lifts it up and wraps his other one around your waist.
“W-what…? For what?” you ask curiously.
“You’ll see,” he says, his lips brushing over yours.
Before you could even process what was happening, In-ho’s grip on you tightened. His hands were firm on your body, pulling you flush against him with a strength that left you breathless. Without a second of hesitation, he crashed his lips onto yours, silencing any protests you might’ve had. The kiss was wild, needy, like he couldn’t get enough of you. And before you even realized it, your legs were wrapped around his waist, holding onto him as though you needed his support.
You felt the weight of his arms around you, supporting you, guiding you, and suddenly, it was all too much. His breath was ragged against your lips as he tugged you closer, the heat of his body mixing with yours.
His touch was possessive, but so tender in the way he gripped your skin. Every second, every movement, was loaded with unspoken words… his desire, his lust, his need for you, but also something darker, a reminder of who he was in this twisted game. Yet, all you could think about in that moment was the pull between you, how his presence seemed to drown out everything else.
You could feel his heartbeat hammering against your chest, syncing with your own, and for a moment, everything else faded away. There was no game, no chaos, no twisted rules. This time… it was just him and you.
It was almost dizzying. The way his lips moved with an intensity that left you breathless. You melted into him, giving in to the urgency of the moment, your hands threading into his bloodstained shirt as you pulled him even closer. And just as quickly, he deepened the kiss, a growl vibrating in his chest, pulling a desperate moan from you.
It was messy. It was raw. It was everything that you shouldn’t want, but couldn’t stop yourself from craving more of him.
“Don’t think,” he murmured against your lips, his voice low and rough, just how you like it. “Just feel. Feel me.”
His words fell onto deaf ears as you numbed against his touch, His lips trailed down to your neck, kissing and nipping at the sensitive skin there, making your breath hitch in your throat. You clung to him, desperate for more, for any scrap of his attention, but your head was spinning.
“In-ho…” you managed to breathe, barely able to form words, your chest heaving as he kissed his way back up to your jaw, his fingers digging into your skin in that familiar, possessive way.
“Shh,” he whispered, his voice rough with barely contained desire, it was something more than that. He was desperate for you now. His hands roamed every inch of your body, tracing the lines, memorizing every curve as if he needed to own every part of you. “You don’t need to say anything. I know what you want.”
He spoke like he had all the answers, and in that moment, he probably did. The way he held you, the way he moved with such authority, made it impossible to do anything but give in to him. To him and this chaotic, twisted connection you shared. Maybe you weren’t any better than him.
Your fingers threaded through his hair, tugging him back to you as your lips crashed together again. It wasn’t gentle this time. The kiss was rough, hungry, full of tension and need. His hands gripped your hips, guiding you in a rhythm that only seemed to escalate the fire burning between you. His breath, hot against your mouth, sent shivers down your spine, and you couldn’t stop yourself from moaning against his lips.
You felt his smirk before you heard it. “You’re mine, [Name],” he muttered against your lips. His words were a command, a promise, and you couldn’t deny the thrill that ran through you at the sound.
He pulled back slightly, his eyes burning with an intensity that made your heart race. “You want me, don’t you? Want me more than anything else right now. Tell me you want me,”
His hands were on you again, pressing you deeper into him, and in that moment, there was no escaping him. No escaping the pull of his dark, twisted affection.
You didn’t answer, not with words, but your body told him everything he needed to know. He hummed in satisfaction and you let him explore you even deeper.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ༘⋆ rizz? oh, you mean my autism?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
★彡 synopsis: jjk boyfriends' ways of loving an autistic reader.
characters: satoru gojo, suguru geto, kento nanami, choso kamo, toji fushiguro, hajime kashimo.
bella's note: my new year's resolution? to be way more self-indulgent!
Tumblr media
.ᐟ.ᐟ KENTO 'QUIZ TIME' NANAMI
The first time it happened, Kento assumed you were way too focused on work to cook something before you were about to faint. The second time, maybe you were distracted. From then on, it was a pattern Kento couldn’t unsee.
Arms shaking as you cook. Changing the shower temperature when your skin is burning hot. Only washing your glasses when they are so dusty he could draw on them. Waking up on the middle of the night to use the bathroom.
You only listen to your needs when your body screams.
THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES: “Do you need a drink?” — “Have you eaten anything? That doesn’t count.” — “Want me to close the curtains?” — “Come clean your glasses with me. I could clean yours, but you would need to clean mine. That’s what I thought.” — “Did you pay your bills this month?” — “Have you watched that movie you told me about?” — “Are you going to bed or I’ll have to start undressing? Oh, so now you hear me?”
.ᐟ.ᐟ CHOSO 'ACCIDENTAL MIME' KAMO
Choso would’ve never noticed if you hadn’t got mad at him. Mocking you? of course he was not! That’s so mean, Choso would never do that to someone he loves.
You have this habit. Of repeating words or phrases others use. Choso thought it was sweet. It showed that you were paying attention to every conversation. He started doing the same for you to know that he was listening, too.
Choso would’ve never understood if it wasn’t for Yuji. Echolalia. You weren’t doing it on purpose. It was automatic. What he saw as a habit was something you have no control over. When Choso started doing the same, you thought it was his way of saying “stop that, you’re bothering me.”
Once Choso explained himself, it was your turn to think it was a sweet habit.
THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES: “Sorry, sir, I didn’t mean to.” — “Choso, you’re very beautiful. Wait.” — “Can you shut up? Sorry.” — “Do you want to go out? I would love to.” — “Fuck that. Hey, Yuji, don’t use those words.” — “Babe? Yes?”
.ᐟ.ᐟ SUGURO 'SOCIAL CLUES TRANSLATOR' GETO
People, most often than not, will say things without actually saying them. The first time the meaning behind someone’s word were completely lost once they reached your ears, Suguru thought it was amusing. But then he understood some think it’s only logical to blame you for not getting what they chose not to say.
Arguing with someone unwilling to change their ways is pointless. If they don’t want to communicate with others, so be it. Suguru would pity them for wasting their chance of knowing you, but he prefers when you spend your time with him.
In important events, Suguru will tell you what to expect. Out with friends, he may warn you about someone not being very happy. Oh, the countless times Suguru was the one to explain that “no, honey, they didn’t mean it literally.”
Suguru would rather not being called tutorial mascot by his partner, but if you’re happy… so be it.
THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES: “Hyperbole.” — “I think that was her polite way of spitting on his face. It gave me chills.” — “I also don’t know what he meant by that.” — “She’s definitely lying.” — “Not literally.” — “Shit. Satoru will ask me to give a speech. You will pretend to be sick? ... I love you.”
.ᐟ.ᐟ HAJIME 'TELL ME MORE' KASHIMO
Hajime WILL know about all your special interests. You have no say in this matter. He wants to know everything about you that there is to know. After all, what is love if not seeing the other and accepting them entirely?
He prefers to do it while he trains. Hajime will practice his techniques with your voice to sooth his muscles. Don’t matter what is on your mind, he wants to hear it all. A specific actress, some movie you saw, penguins? Lovely, keep going.
It's endearing the way you know so much about what you love. Makes Hajime want to ask you what you know about him. Just to check.
THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES: "No, no. Please, keep going." — "And that was created when?" — "Your voice is enchanting." — "How did you discovered that?" — "I think, when I was young, I read a book that mentioned this." — "Talk to me. I want to listen."
.ᐟ.ᐟ TOJI 'HUMAN FURNACE' FUSHIGURO
Toji knows how to read someone. It's useful. If he can understand their desires and fears, then he knows what to expect. When it comes to you, what surprises Toji is that he uses this skill to help instead of getting something for himself.
He learned to read you. To understand what your body tells without the need to hearing it from you. Toji understands when something makes you upset, mad, uncomfortable. Even when you're drowning on your emotions and nothing else makes sense: Toji knows you.
And what he learned is that, to silence your mind from all those confusing thoughts, something bigger against you can be distracting enough. To be more exact, to have Toji against you. On his lap, between his arms, beneath him on the couch.
THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES: "I'm warm? How sweet of you." — "Can you hear me now?" — "You feel like you can’t breath? I'll let you go when you get sure of that." — "How's your mind now? Too crowded?" — "Forget about them. Just look at me. That's right. It's you and me, nothing else matters."
.ᐟ.ᐟ SATORU 'DEFENSE ATTORNEY' GOJO
Has someone been harsh to you? A boss ignored your rights? A doctor diminished your requests and questions? You know who to call: Satoru Gojo, your beautiful, funny, interesting, inteligent, kind, considerate [50 adjectives later] boyfriend!
Satoru WILL fight anyone that tries to disrespect you. Don’t matter who, don’t matter why. He's ready to throw hands (or cursed energy, to specify). It can be your mom, he doesn’t care. No one messes with you.
But he also defends you in more pacific terms. He will give whole ass lessons to people that tried to argue with you. He will keep talking until they get it right. If someone tries to embarrass you, Satoru is embarrassing them. He doesn’t care about anyone. If they were able to make you uncomfortable, than they are able of dealing with some discomfort too.
THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES: "Well, actually..." — "I understand what you're saying. Completely. But you're wrong and I will tell why exactly why." — "Say that again." — "You must think you are so funny." — "You think so? Ok, sit down. I'll explain it all to you."

heyy, i just want to say that i really love your writing and i was wondering if you could do one with hotch were its like really cozy and there like cuddling on the couch and maybe something with jack?
dozing off
🥹 the dream cw; fem!reader, established relationship, descriptions of food, fluff <3
"Do you just wanna go to bed?"
Your voice caused Aaron to lift his head, blinking the sleep out of his eyes. "Hm?"
"You're falling asleep," you laughed, using your index finger to lightly trace shapes along his chest, the fabric of his t-shirt soft under your fingertips. "So do you want to move to bed?"
"No I'm not." He insisted drowsily, his hand running up and down your back, shifting just enough to settle further into you. Based on his relaxed posture, it was clear he had no plans to move.
"Oh yeah? What's happened so far?" You asked in amusement, referring to the movie playing in front of the two of you. It's been on for about forty-five minutes now, and Aaron had been asleep for the past twenty at least.
He squinted slightly as he looked at the screen, studying the current scene for a moment as if that alone would relay the entire plot of the movie. "They're... going on a date." He stated, which sounded more like a question than anything else - at the moment, two characters were getting in a car.
"Aaron, honey, they're siblings."
He frowned, "Maybe I was asleep."
"Maybe," you confirmed with a small giggle, laying your head back against his chest. "Try absolutely."
"I'm comfy." He closed his eyes, his arms around you tightening as if doing so would bring you any closer. "Can you blame me?"
The BAU's caseload had kicked up a notch, so that meant they'd been working overtime, resulting in more days and nights with Aaron states away. The second he walked through the door this very afternoon, there were deep bags present under his eyes. You were partially surprised he was standing upright.
So no, you couldn't blame him. Especially when you knew he needed the sleep, convinced he never got enough to begin with, a case occupying him or not.
"I enjoy Friday nights so much more when you're home." You sighed softly in content, resting your chin atop his chest.
Likewise, he released a breath. "Me too sweetheart. Me too."
He opened his eyes, an inviting smile on his face as you moved slightly upwards, bringing your lips to his.
He kissed you softly, long and slow in his sleepy wake. The way he approached it with such ease and leisure caused infatuation to buzz right through you. It was relaxed and unhurried, as if you had all the time in the world, leaving you warm and happy. You felt loved.
The two of you broke apart at the pitter patter of feet coming from down the hallway, quickly joining you in the living room.
"What are you doing up?" Aaron asked Jack playfully, his eyebrows raised. "Didn't we already say good night to you?"
"I couldn't sleep." Jack said, his head turning towards the TV, suddenly engrossed as if it would somehow better his chances. "Can I stay up late too?"
"Well... it is Friday," you reached forward, picking up Jack and adding him to your cuddle pile. "It's okay with me if it's okay with Dad."
He looked up at his father, pleading. "Dad?"
Aaron looked between the two of you, his two favorite people. A smile tugged onto his lips - how could he say no? He caved, "sure, why not."
You smiled, tickling Jack's side gently amidst his small celebration. "How about some popcorn too?"
His eyes widened in excitement, "even though I already brushed my teeth?"
"I think we can bend some rules tonight."
"And m&m's?"
"Don't push your luck," Aaron warned gently, his voice slightly stern in that Dad-voice manner. But the glint in his eyes said otherwise - just happiness. As if things couldn’t get any better than this.
"I'll tell you what, you can even pick the movie too." You lowered your voice, but spoke loudly enough so Aaron could still hear you. "Your Dad keeps falling asleep, even though he keeps telling me he's wide awake."
"He always falls asleep." Jack grinned, "Can we watch Star Wars?"
As you switched movies, Aaron prepared the popcorn, adding a small quantity of m&m's mixed within. Slight adjustments were made too, due to the limited space available on the couch. Now, you sat in the middle, the two of them nestled comfortably at your sides with a blanket draped over the three of you.
And within the hour, prolonged only by the snacks, the scene soon played out just as it had started. Only this time, you had two Hotchners dozing beside you. Jack was mushed up against your arm, while Aaron's head rested atop your shoulder, small snores exiting his mouth.
There really couldn't be anything better.

--
You didn’t understand. You really didn’t.
How could you go from such a beautiful relationship and one of the happiest times of your life to watching your best friend get together with your ex-boyfriend? It seemed like such a cruel joke to watch people who had been with you your entire life turn against you in this way.
It took less than a week for JJ to cut things off after everyone came back from El Dorado, claiming he needed to reevaluate everything and take time for himself. Apparently, that didn’t last long, because three days later, you caught Kiara sharing his bed in Sarah’s rental condo, looking like the happiest he’d ever been.
"I can explain, just-"
The scene in front of you was sick. You'd heard JJ yell out in his sleep, something that was more common than not with his nightmares. Instincts had you in front of his door before you knew it, wanting to comfort him in case he needed someone. You didn't expect to find this.
JJ, shirtless, next to Kiara, of all people, who was wearing the boy's shirt. In bed. Together.
Whatever JJ wanted to say, you didn't give him a chance to hear it. Lips tucked in a thin line, you gave a nod. "Sorry for interrupting, hope everything's okay."
And with a smile on your face and no room for explanations, you closed the door.
“Are you still avoiding them?” Sarah’s voice came from behind as you watched JJ and Kie prep the boat for the upcoming dive.
You huffed, “Do you blame me?”
She stopped to stand beside you, her eyes watching the duo on the boat move together. “There’s no chemistry.”
“Not a bit.”
Sarah watched you carefully as if she was waiting for the dam to break. In the almost three weeks JJ and Kie had been ‘together’, you hadn’t cried and you hadn’t lashed out. You’d told her the second you found them in bed and they started spewing excuses, you just apologized for interrupting and dismissed yourself with a smile.
John B was concerned. As your older brother, it was his job to defend you and watch out for you, no matter the circumstance. When the two of you first got together, John B made JJ swear that he wouldn’t do anything to hurt you, swearing there would be consequences. While you’d kept your cool, he did not and JJ managed to catch himself a black eye and swollen cheek as a result.
“Has John B talked to them?”
“Has John B what?” Your brother interrupted your question as he joined the two of you in the shop, hauling a hefty backpack. He reached out to grab your shoulder and squeezed it lightly. “You okay?”
You nodded in response, clamping your mouth shut and looking back at the water. Kiara was going down on the dive with JJ, something about not leaving him alone which made your eyes roll. Pope and John B were going on the boat, leaving you, Sarah, and Cleo on shore to be lookout.
“Are you lying to me?”
You’d lost so many pieces of yourself in the moments shared with JJ, allowing the vulnerability you had believed he would never take advantage of.  It was no surprise John B could see through the cracks you’d inevitably let form. You sighed, head dropping between your shoulder blades as you let out a steady breath. “I’m fine, Bee. Promise.”
John B was unconvinced by your words but didn’t push. He heard your almost silent crying at night. It was obvious you were hurting by the way you closed yourself off and hid in your skin. He hated that his so-called best friend was the one to treat you this way and cause you to feel like this.
“You can take a break,” He reassured as his backpack dropped to the ground as he pulled you into a full hug and placed a kiss on your head. “Nobody would blame you.”
You hugged him back and fought off the tears that burned your eyes. There would be a point and time to talk about all of this, but it wasn’t here and now. If you were being honest, there was nothing you’d rather do than run away from Kildare right now, but it wouldn’t be the best option by any means.
“You guys ready up there?” JJ’s voice echoed around the morning air as he called out to John B.
You hugged your brother tighter before letting go, forcing a smile on your lips. “Be careful, please?”
He rubbed your head lovingly, smiling when you tried to shove him away. “Always.”
You stepped away to give him time with Sarah and started to head back toward the house when someone called your name. JJ’s shoes stomped against the new wooden deck, the sound getting louder as he got closer. You froze in your spot as he rounded to stop you from walking away. “Can we talk?”
You stared at him for a moment, wondering how someone you loved so incredibly much could make you feel this way. “There’s nothing to talk about.”
When you moved to pass him, he grabbed your elbow gently to prevent it. “Please, I just want to get this out before… in case I don’t-”
“You’ll be back.” It was hard to avoid the instinct of reassuring him. He swallowed thickly and met your gaze. He would be back, you just didn't know if you'd be here to see it. The two of you hadn’t been alone since everything went down and there was plenty of awkwardness to show.
“I just… I’m sorry. About everything. I should’ve told you, but it all happened so fast and-”
“Did you ever love me?” The question came out of your mouth before you could think about it. You wanted to ask it for a while, to find out exactly what went through his head when he let Kiara climb in bed with him that night.
The opening and closing of his mouth was enough of a response to shatter you. Tears formed faster than you liked as you nodded.
“Figured," You breathed out, "Goodbye, JJ.”
You left him on the dock and didn’t look back as you walked away. From him, from Kie, from the friends you considered family until they made you feel like anything but. You swore then and there that you would never fall for someone in that way again.
After all, staying only made you get real good at pretend.
--
Coming back from the dive had been a mess of chaos. Kie and JJ were at the hospital recovering from nitrogen in their blood while the remainder of the group came back to the house with the amulet, hoping to figure out what was inscribed inside.
John B called your name as he entered the house, practically bouncing in excitement to tell you what they’d found. You’d opted to stay back after speaking to JJ on the dock, which they didn’t fault you for, knowing you needed time alone.
When silence followed JB’s call, he frowned. Something wasn’t right. The main floor was empty, not a sign of you or your relative presence in the area. Room empty too, leaving John B to question where the hell you went. They had the Twinkie and the dirt bikes were outside which meant if you went anywhere it would be on your own two feet.
“John B.”
The tone in Sarah’s voice told him his intuition was right. She met him in the doorway of your room with a piece of paper in hand, holding it in his direction. He didn’t even need to read it to know the answer to his question.
You were gone. And you weren’t coming back any time soon.

part two here :)
