Good Omens s2 SPOILERS

This scene where Aziraphale figures out that Crowley lied about killing the goats is very precious to me.

It’s really just the beginning of their relationship and how they are learning each other and it is dear to me.

But crowleys face in the shot above is cautious, almost showing trepidation. And I know it’s because he doesn’t want Aziraphael to see that he actually didn’t follow hell’s orders and did it his way but what if he was almost afraid Aziraphael would tell someone?

What if he was afraid the Angel, this enemy, that he had only known a very (relatively) short time, would spill to other angels or even hell that this had happened? Like obviously Aziraphael doesn’t wouldn’t, but because it is so early in their relationship, Crowley can’t really know that, right?

What if what we’re seeing there is fear from the demon being caught doing good outright but the enemy?

Idk but I can’t stop thinking about how he must be feeling in that moment.

There was no real bonding up to that point.

They met at moments when their viewpoints were very much clashing and the sides very evident previous to this meeting, and I can’t imagine what Crowley must have been feeling to be caught in the moment like that.

But it all turned out ok because Aziraphael is kind and precious and loving.

Now I need them to get back together.

That car better show that it misses Aziraphael just as much or I will riot

The best little fanon thing they confirmed for me was making the Bentley a little pet. Cause in the book it’s just a one off joke about how the CDs turn into queen if you leave them in A car long enough but it’s like no…the Bentley loves aziraphale and gives him sweets and plays whatever he wants and turns yellow for him and parks where he tell it to and plays “a nightingale sang in Berkeley square” when crowley is heartbroken and plays “good old fashioned lover boy” when crowley is racing back to help aziraphale. And crowley coos to it like it’s a puppy. Love that car

Good Omens S2 SPOILERS

So we all saw Crowley realize what Aziraphale meant when he said that nothing lasted forever and so he resigned himself and put his glasses back on, building that wall back up after 6000 years to hide again, to retreat, to block out every hurtful thing. For s3, I want to see that he never takes of his glasses again, not for anyone, or anywhere. I want to see him never let his guard down or him get comfortable again. Until he and Aziraphale eventually make up again (cause we know they will) AND I WANT AZIRAPHALE TO BE THE ONE TO TAKE OFF HIS GLASSES FOR HIM

They really spent a lot of time pointing to the second coming for Apolaypse 2 electric boogaloo

all 3 minisodes are about ... humans dying and being brought back to life, or more like, how that is not possible...and how Heaven and Hell have worked around that

In A Companion to Owls, Job kids never died even when they should have, Heaven didn't know enough to distinguish that they were the same children and Sitis quickly got that the miracle was... that their children didn't die to begin with. Once they are dead it is game over and Crowley and Aziraphale refused to let them die

In The Resurrectionists (it is literally called The Resurrectionists!!) and it is how one girl is shot and they can't do anything once she is dead. And Crowley still goes off of his way to make sure the other one doesn't kill herself, risking everything. And we know hell's extreme sanctions are probably what makes him ask for insurance, for holy water. On the other hand, this episode is called The ResurrectionistS, plural, but we meet only one of them ..while in the other side of the sign is Christ himself.

THEN in 1941, we have ZOMBIES, the literal living dead walking around, and Furfur states that he can't make them living people again due to a clause and just leave them as zombies to roam the earth. We see how cursed they are, rotting and bound to eat brains but not human.

EVEN! From episode 1, we get a big Clue: miracles are measured in lazarii, and resurrecting someone is no easy feat. They were telling us to watch out about coming back to life... and how only the mightiest of archangels are able to use that amount of power (or an angel and a demon holding hands...)

and I do want to point out that part of the things Gabriel remembered was this line

Job kids didn't die, in victorian england Wee Morag died falling in the hands of a resurrectionist, and the Germans died and came back- just not quite alive. Every day it is getting closer,

... they are telling us that the second coming is afoot, but they are also showing us that there is no second opportunity on this earth. Once you are dead, you are dead.

and Crowley, in the direst time when Aziraphale is breaking his little demonic heart, says

And now, the plan to resurrect one human to make the end of the world happen is in Aziraphale's hands.
