Vincent was ecstatic when you showed him your new toy and told him your little hobby, now you both can make art! He could be painting or wax sculpturing and you could be building with him. He's so proud of you whenever you managed to fully make a toy he howls a bit in delight and gives you two thumbs up and he probably sketches your toys because he thinks they're so interesting. He'll be a bit sad when he sees his childhood toys broken though he thinks your new ones are totally worth it. He sometimes likes you watch you do your thing and helps you if you can't figure out what to make.

Lester was also whying when he saw you taking apart the toys, did you hate it that much? But he went wowing when he saw what you were actually doing and totally watches you make your new toys. At a certain time, when the sun is down and the moon is up, you normally will hear the sounds of sleeping. That peaceful feeling of letting go of everything while regenerating your energy is a feeling that everyone loves. Especially yourself, yet you're here up at 3:49 AM, re-reading that one part in the book where the character "fell in-love".

"Her mind goes blank everytime she sees him.. // Thoughts cannot formulate anymore.. // Before she knew it, she had already fell.."

Your eyes scanned the words, reading what it feels like to fall in-love. So before, what you felt wasn't love, it didn't feel like how it is in the book. So when will you fall in-love? Even though you always say these simple words, "Relationships are too much work..", but sometimes, a girl can only just dream.

The darkness that surrounds your room blackens out your thoughts from the outside world, leaving you alone in your bed, under your blanket with your phone light, showing you the words you wished, secretly wished, to feel one day.

And so, with those thoughts the darkness swallowed you entirely, leaving you to dream with romance on your mind.

It has been 5 minutes since your alarm went off but finally, it reached your ears causing you to awaken from your slumber. A little bit of drool pooled around one spot on your bed as you realized that the posture you fell asleep on, caused your mouth to hang a bit.

The sun from your window gave you some sort of guide to understand your surroundings a bit better. A little too good actually..

Now that you think about it, they do have a point. You're not the one to stay up, mostly just sleeping through everything.

And with that bomb-dropped sentence, the boys went dead silent. Until Meguru started laughing.

"WHAT'S SO FUNNY?" You lashed out, standing up from your seat.

"Seems like she's not sleepy anymore.." Yoichi mumbled.. "She sounds grumpy though.." He continued.

Meguru on the other hand had to stop himself from falling off the table, while laughing. You stared at him for a while, with a scowl on your face, waiting for him to stop laughing.

Yoichi, who held a small smile on his face, watched how his friends interacted with each other.

"I won't say it's funny but it's not normal for you." He said, trying to not turn the situation into a funny one.

"Yeah I know I was just thinking, okay?" You mumbled, finding yourself back in your seat, watching as Meguru had finally died down.

His eyes landed on you, giggling a bit at the idea, which caused you to form a small pout on your face. You rolled your eyes and sighed, dropping your head softly on his lap, only because he was on your desk.

"I'm sorry for laughing..!" He softly exclaimed, petting your head that rests on his lap. His habit of petting your head always seems to cheer you up or calm down. Another one is Yoichi's hugs. Those seem to be your favorite.

Twisting your head on his lap, only to see who had entered the classroom thus far, you began to stare at a boy. He wasn't looking in your direction but something about his side view seems.. capturing.

The more you stared, the more Meguru petted your head, the more you drifted off into the dreamland and no one seemed to stop you this time, accepting the duty of waking you up when it's class time.

However, that same boy had noticed your staring. His eyebrows knitted together in confusion yet he shook it off as he saw that you were falling asleep.

Am I saying he's all soft and squishy? No. But Bi-Han is not a terrible dom. 

Bi-Han is a perfectionist so any precautions beforehand are definitely gonna be dealt with. What he wants outta this, what you want, limits, ect. 

Onto dealing with a brat though, we already know Bi-Han has a short temper so any bratty behavior would noticeably annoy him 

Smth that would guarantee a punishment would be acting out in front of other Lin Kuei or just in public. It'd be discreet enough that no one would really notice what's going on, but obvious enough that he'd know you're being a brat on purpose 

Questioning certain orders, doing things extremely slow, talking over him, the list could go on. Being bratty around people especially when he's supposed to be “professional” is the quickest way to get a punishment 

I kinda see it as a storm. You know it's coming, you see the signs, but when it happens you still go “dammit. I can't believe it's raining like this”

Does he warn you? Yes. But he only does it once. If you keep going, he mentally writes it all down 

Now Bi-Han doesn't strike me as someone who particularly likes physical touch all the time but punishments don't have to be the typical spanking or harsh fucking. He can be more creative 

I feel like he enjoys punishments that have to do with humiliation. There's so much control in telling you to do something and you just follow it. 

Very much a “ride my boot” type of guy 

The type to make you orgasm over and over again and you don't stop until he's satisfied (obviously keeping your safety and what you can take in mind though)

Takes bratty behavior seriously. He's not making funny little jokes or nothing of the sort. He's putting you in your place 

His punishments would linger. For example he'd tell you to tell him whenever you got horny and why for like, a solid week. This seems small but if you get hormonal easily, you're going up to him a lot and he's shaming you everytime.

A brat would probably fit him well cause he gets to constantly put you in your place, which can be a good way to relax for him

Is also very organized. So organized I think he'd have a secret way to tell you he's actually not in the mood or too busy for you.

Bratty behaviors that would bother him the most I think would be doing dumb shit. Like, below average IQ type of things. 

It bothers him because you're not stupid so stop acting stupid. If he says do A, don't do B

But it's fine. You wanna play stupid? He can do that. 

I know I said Bi-Han’s punishments sometimes linger but it really ain't got shit on Kuai Liang’s

If you wanna act like you don't understand basic orders because you wanna act out, then he's gonna act like he doesn't understand anything you want. 

You say “I need you” but he goes to do something else. What's the problem? Clearly you were saying you needed him to do laundry that day. 

You say “touch me” but he touches you everywhere except where you really need him 

You could say something as clear as “please make me cum” and he'd bring you close, but would stop. Why are you upset? You didn't say what day to make you cum. You'll do it later. 

Every single request you have for him turns into something you didn't want and he watches with satisfaction as it slowly drives you insane.

this happened a while ago but i still feel conflicted about it. (tw: mention of germophobia, mention of suicidal thoughts) and this might get very long, so sry about that.

am i (18, F) the asshole for not wanting to try on shoes?

i know that this must sound super weird, but basically i have a pretty extreme phobia of germs and my dad (60s, M) took me spontaneously to a shoe store to buy new shoes.

now i’m also autistic, so this spontaneous change of plans was already pretty stressful for me, but i tried to hide that and pretended to be okay with that.

the thing is that i had only one “clean” pair of shoes (like clean on the inside, not the outside obviously) and like those got dirty/muddy when i was on a walk with a friend and it rained really extremely. the evening after that, i spent like an hour trying to get those shoes clean again bc otherwise i don’t know if i could’ve forced myself to ever wear them again. i did everything i could and even sanitized them like 5 times (i know it’s excessive but it still didn’t feel like it was enough). i can make myself wear them again now but it takes a bit of (internal convincing everytime and like even if i only had them on for a few moments, i change my socks and shower afterwards everytime because i just can’t handle it otherwise.

and basically my dad doesn’t really understand my mental health because i’m not good at explaining it (when i talk about this irl i always end up in tears, no matter how hard i try to suppress that and then i end up feeling bad for crying and then i spiral), but he still noticed my discomfort with my current show situation. that’s why he wanted to buy me new shoes, and rationally speaking, i was very grateful and thought it was a good idea. but emotionally, i was very distraught from the change in routine and i knew that this store was very small and that it’s basically guaranteed that all of the shoes there have already been tried on by someone.

i know that’s technically normal and not a big deal, but it’s honestly really disgusting to me and i don’t want to try on shoes that anyone else has ever worn (and especially not if i don’t know who wore them or when or how clean those people’s feet were). i knew my dad wouldn’t understand that reasoning, so i tried to just say that i don’t like the shoe brands that store has or that i want a different type of shoe or that i don’t like the design etc etc.

and then we came across the exact type of shoe i was already wearing but in black (mine were like dark purple) and my dad was like “great, you like black and you already like the brand and that specific model!” and i obviously had no excuse anymore for why i didn’t like that one. so i just admitted my actual reasoning for saying no to that and all the others.

my dad ended up opening every shoe box and i was right that all of them (in my size) had already been tried on. i really wanted to just force myself to look past that and try one on anyway, but i just couldn’t make myself do it.

i was on the verge of a panic attack tbh (i get those a lot from this phobia), but i managed to kinda keep it in check. my dad and i ended up leaving the store but i could tell that he was really annoyed and so i apologized but that seemed to only annoy him even more.

the car ride home was at first pretty awkward, then it developed into an argument where i tried to explain my phobia but i think i only made it worse on accident bc of the emotions and then we were just kinda silent at each other for the rest, until he tried to make some small talk and i fucked up (because i can’t control the tone of my voice very well due to my autism and i was still emotionally messed up), so then he got a bit passive aggressive again.

when we arrived at home, i hid in the living room (no one really ever goes there currently) and had a bit of a meltdown. i was really spiraling- like suicidal thoughts and googling for a painless suicide method because i felt like such a pathetic disappointment and failure of a daughter and human being. eventually after like half an hour, my mom came looking for me and found me sitting there, sobbing in the corner. she asked what happened and bc i felt really ashamed i didn’t want to tell her, so i said i’d explain later.

i wasn’t really able to stop crying completely that whole rest of the day. like i got some moments where i was outwardly calm, but on the inside, i wasn’t able to really calm down at all until the next day. usually my mom is pretty understanding of my phobia but not of me crying, so i was very surprised when she completely took my side after she heard what happened from my dad’s perspective.

by the time, i had stopped “hiding” in the living room, my dad had already fully calmed down as if nothing happened, but i still felt (and still feel) really bad about it, because i know he only had good intentions and i messed it up completely. my mom told me that he had offered that i could just look up some shoes online and he’d order them for me instead of going to an in-person store for that again, but i’m not sure if that was really his idea bc it sounds more like something my mom would propose. i do like that idea, but because i’m not sure if it was actually his idea, i haven’t said anything to him about it. i just feel really bad that my parents didn’t get a normal daughter, because i feel like my mental illness makes everything harder than it has to be and they don’t deserve that, but i don’t know what to do (therapy is unfortunately not an option currently).

Best road trip ever episode!!! Yes, of course lol.

Ian and Rino Romano are so great. He's a pop up from another of my fandoms so I giggle everytime he comes on. I think what makes Ian an endearing character is his level of bombastic lies are annoying but so quick and clearly are, so reactionary to what the conversation around him is, that it's immediately funny. And you aren't Ray, stuck listening to it the whole trip(s) lol.

Ian is also just really a cool character to examine both for himself and Fraser. Appearing twice, you get to see the change of the reasoning behind him and how Fraser is relating.

For himself, he goes from lying because he can't help himself, a defensive reaction and one rooted in his childhood looks like, one that the episode highlights is a sad case of he lied about a case before he understood the consequences and cant lie his way out, cause duh, but also cant stop. But has that moment of own up growth, even if he doesn't stop entirely.

Fraser understands cause Fraser does manipulations in same. In self-defense, rather than say what he wants or needs. With Ray all episode! And Fraser's lesson this episode is not really to stop, but that people, aka Ray again, strung on the ride along, don't enjoy. Fraser kinda does it extreme here, and also gets told off here too lol.

Then when Ian comes back in season 2, he's still lying but has clearly broadened himself to having learned how to find himself in a job where it's cool. In a place where jumping to wild conclusions works. He found his people lol. His struggle now is balancing getting someone to believe him or in him, and get his lover on board in that way too, by contending with his wild claims and the honest feelings underneath. In really he struggles all episode not only trying to find Audrey and be believed that his story of her exists, but getting her to know the romantic interest was honest truth from him, and know that her romantic interest or understanding was the same. And it's cute, while it wasn't "truth" on both sides, the interest was, and they are willing to go again. Happy.

And to me this fits Fraser well too. He's settling in. He's also balancing how do I be seen, am I, and be honest in feelings while keeping the image. Can I? And the answer is: Well, Ray is still going along, be it a lot more awareness than last time, and Thatcher and Welsh and life are okaying the adventure. Truth be out there with aliens lol.

Sonic didn’t really know what to do, honestly. You had hurt him, his feelings anyway. He knows he’s being selfish, you’re allowed to have friends and he understands that better than anyone! But… why him? SHADOW? Of all the people… he thought he knew you better than that.

He was still pacing around, thinking of what in the world he could do about this predicament he’s in. He’s your boyfriend, he can confide in you about anything and you never judge him. But how in the world is he supposed to tell you he’s upset because your friends with a rival of his? In his mind, it doesn’t seem so bad but… Amy makes it sound like he’s being incredibly unreasonable. Is he being unreasonable? Is he just being a selfish self absorbed jerk like usual? He can’t even confide in tails because he decided to stay out of it, which makes him think he truly is just being a selfish boyfriend as always.

“I think you’re just …. Jealous… sonic…” Amy says, carefully. “Me? Jealous? Psh! That’s ridiculous why would I be jealous of shadow? I mean what does he even have on me?” sonic questions, but the more he thinks about it the more he goes on about what shadow couldn’t possibly have on him until he’s rambling on and Amy gives him that knowing smile. “Okay fine, maybe I am a little jealous.” “A little?” “Yes! A little.”

At least he’s finally done pacing around, Amy thinks to herself. However there’s a new dilemma on Sonics mind as he asks Amy very quickly. Does he tell you? “Of course you do! That’s what a relationship is all about! Talking about your feelings!” “Ugh. That makes me wanna barf, stop it.”

She sighs, pushing him out the door. “Talk to your beloved and stop bothering me.”

Sonic eventually ends up at your place, sighing as he lets himself in without really knocking on the door. He’s used to doing this, but it doesn’t make you any less annoyed everytime this happens. You’re still upset with him for making such a big deal over you having a friend, but you’re never one to deny letting him inside. Especially in hopes of a apology. “Yes sonic? Is there something you’d like to tell me?”

He sighs, knowing just this once he may have to let his ego go. “I’m very sorry… for the way I’ve acted. If I’m being honest I’m just kinda jealous of you and shadow and didn’t know how to handle it.” he says all in one go, letting out a breath he didn’t know he was holding.

Although it takes you a second to get over the initial shock of how honest he’s being, as well as how quickly he just said all of that at once, you sigh and give him a hug. “It’s okay sonic. You know you don’t have to be jealous” you say, trying to make him feel better. He hugs back, “yeah I know I just … I don’t know what it is.. thanks.. sorry for making you upset…” “it’s okay…”

I can't really see sonamy working out in the long run, either one of or both characters would have to be ooc if they were a couple, I can only see it as alot of giving and sacrificing mostly from Sonic's end, because so far shown in the games canon, Amy hasnt had alot of patience with him and wants a more typical kind of relationship with sonic with dating and all that, which sonic just isnt all that in to.

Considering how much the average sonamy fanbrat clings for dear life to two tposing models in a leaked screenshot and one out of context leftover line, it has always seem like they are looking for validation rather than consensus, they tend to turn any conversation from "exposition of motives" to "explaining why i am right", and you cant win that one, you never will.

The reason why so much sonamy related stuff feels so OOC for both of themy care very little about representing the actual characters and more about representing what they want these characters to be, usually turning them into mouthpieces for whatever bias or story they want to tell, which in turn explains a lot of their love for other OOC representations of their pairing, like Prime Sonic and Thorn, or IDW Sonamy. Their story reads great if you read it in a vacuum, but as soon as you contrast whatever they wrote with the writing in the games, it becomes apparent that these are not the same characters, replacing Sonic with Domingo, by writing him to be, usually, a self centered prick that has to learn the value of *insert positive trait here*, or a little penis man that trips on his balls everytime he takes a step and needs someone to believe in him so he can do this with the power of love and friendship; and replacing Amy with Consuela, this lovey dovey perfect girl that has never ever done anything wrong, has never made Sonic feel uncomfortable, has never stalked him and has never ever in the history of ever tried to force her views and herself into sonic's lifestyle.

For some this shit was never about "why would these two character become better by being with each other" and more of "Me and my pookie". For a while several depictions of sonamy (i would call it fanon, but that would imply there is a canon counterpart, and guess what!) have always struck me as some weird self insert, and it usually reads in one of two ways

First: Self inserting as Sonic, the one being chased, the thing gets morphed into some early 2000s romcom plot, "she is annoying but i care about her", where, at the end, the pursued reveals that they have always had an interest in the pursuer and that trying to get away was their way to try and fool themselves. Usually this goes with the motif of "I wish that were me"

Second: Self inserting as Amy, this is the toxic and problematic one, because more often than not the author ends up agreeing with the concept of "Love as a transaction", where their interest must always be reciprocated because they did these many things, they have been around for this long or they have met this set of arbitrary requisites.

I really don't wanna be that person, but to me these behaviours tends to speak a lot more about its poster than about the subject of the post, and the fact that you're usually met with such defensive, offensive and sometimes aggresive behaviours (because the shit that some of them say is really eyebrow raising and I wanna believe is just a passing comment that does not represents their actual views on said topics and issues) from the fanbrats upon mentioning it, hinting at it or bringing it up, makes me believe it

If you have to change two characters so much before they can be compatible with each other, maybe they don't belong together, and maybe, just maybe, you're just looking way to deep into something that holds absolutely no meaning for validation of your ideas that you yourself made believe were real, and acting the way that some do whenever the topic aint "how great sonamy is" kinda points in the direction of "I know it but im afraid to admit it"

At the end of the day people can like whatever they want and I'm sure that most sonamy fans are normal people, but if you're one of the fanbrats that just gotta be so vocal and loud about it, don't act all offended when the others complain, or worse, do the same

Small re:zero rant (spoilers for LN) that are just an accumulation of things I haven't been able to rant about but gotta get out

I'm on the LN volume 18 right now and I'm so happy with the way re:zero is going after volume 15 (where the anime ends.) I was kinda dreading the whole ohhh nooo Subaru gets stuck and we gotta repeat a whole segment for the 4th time (not one of the times before did it annoy me but it gets tiresome after a while) but nah, my guy refuses to die and now he has a very fucked up black dragon leg. The relief I feel when the guy gets fucked up and just passes out and lives on instead of looping over and over is great, it's nice that the characters are also getting their own arcs because of it to (e.g. Garfeil's mummy issues ((almost made me cry tbh)) and it wouldn't have happened or would have gotten undone if Subaru kept resetting).

Ngl I took a reading break cause the start of the arc was very slice of lifey and while I enjoyed it there wasn't enough going on to make my dyslexic ass put in enough effort to get past it, but now everytime I read shits going on and it seems to have potential to get really good.

Alsoalso I know that at some point some shit happens to Subaru where he has some shit to do with wrath (I've tried to stay away from details as much as possible) and I'm very excited to see what happens with that and how they do it, especially since the archbishop of wrath is one of the enemies rn

Alsoalsoalso Subaru and Julius are sooooo fucking gay, why is every interaction so fruity??? How were they not meant to be written as bfs like their dynamic from a romantic perspective is so much more interesting than any relationship Subaru has with anyone else (I'm fine with like Emilia/Rem and it makes sense why they like him but like it's boring I'm sorry). Also I know the story is written in 3rd person and the descriptions aren't actually Subaru's direct perspective but it's just so funny to me how often Julius is described as a really handsome man and no one else is. I like to imagine this is Subaru's demons (bisexuality) coming out.

I do have issues with it (mmmm some designs ESPECIALLY the archbishop of LUST LIKE CAN THEY NOT) and sometimes they say some annoying ass horny shit which is always a :///. Also it's understandably gotten to a point where everyone loves Subaru as yk he's kinda saved everyone but it's just made many dynamics boring now. Like they don't have to dislike him or whatever but I think it would be cool if characters had more complex dynamics with eachother and the group wasn't just united by 'yea we all love Subaru!' (Beatrice kinda gets an excuse of she literally shut herself off from everyone and she's that close to Subaru because he saved her and is the only person she's let herself trust thus far, but also I hope she has more of a relationship with those around her)

BUTT other than that I'm enjoying the series (so sad the LN only goes up to 22 in english what am I going to do after I catch up

When it ended. :) disclaimer guys, i literally took the joke from Bee, she deserves the credit for her own peak humour Eh otherwise there's this scene in S4 where Trevor makes Sypha sit down on a bed with him to talk calmly about things instead of rushing in for the first time in weeks, and I saw someone say once that it was his way to try and make Sypha tell him she was pregnant without having to push it, and it's a very sweet idea and I very much like it even if idk if it was the intent. It was a nice Trepha moment anyway. <3

Now to the... ERK. Top 5 most hated moments.

5. The moment Trevor found the Morning Star + The moment where he found that one cross thingy. I put them together because of one concept that links the two and annoys me to death: No one gives a shit about Trevor's findings, not even the show itself. By Trevor's reaction when finding the MS, we know it's like, a big deal. But he's the ONLY ONE to treat it as a big deal, Sypha just goes "lmao what's that ugly thing" and clearly doesn't care about what Trevor explains after. It's like he found a random object on the ground. The show doesn't bother to make us really feel how big of a deal this is. As if Trevor was just exagerating. Then in S4, Trevor find the cross thingy and excitedly shows it to Sypha, who still doesn't care (but at least pretends to this time, i guess, with not much conviction). And I guess the cross isn't as important as the morning star... but I get really annoyed at Sypha just seeing Trevor getting passionnate and going "bruh he found another toy". I would have had less problem with it if Sypha was shown to have interest in Trevor's findings (starting by the MS) before, and because Trevor keeps finding things, she gradually become less and less impress but still pretends to be because well she likes him and he's passionnate and it's kinda cute. But she literally never cared. It's yet another way to ridicule Trevor for me. :/

4. Everytime someone gets snarky/rude or swears. It's like the show is trying to convince itself of how much of an adult it is. "Oh but it's more realistic-" WHERE DO YOU LIVE TO HAVE EVERY SINGLE PERSON EVER SAYS "SHIT" AND "FUCK" EVERY TWO SENTENCE?? I AM BAREY EXAGGERATING. And it makes the joke that Trevor is having a bad influence on Sypha (the "i could piss in a glass and tell him it's beer after he just saved my life" girl) and Alucard (the "yes fuck you" boy) fall flat. Every one is rude in this world. Even DEATH ITSELF LIKE FOR FUCKING HELL'S SAKE

Carmilla's #girlboss first appearance. :) Dracula being unable to make his own court shut up is already stupid and horribly irritating (the fact he is actually whispering is more ridiculous than intimidating) but Carmilla appearing like a BOSS, making everyone shut up for SOME reason, and then insulting Dracula's wife, the whole REASON WHY THERE'S A WAR, right to his face with NO CONSEQUENCES FOR HER... URGH I HATE IT I HATE IT SO MUCH (and I am being generous because it is a top FIVE but there is not a single Carmilla moment i liked)

2. The moment Hector trapped Lenore to PROTECT HER. It was the moment I've been waiting for the whole season. The moment where Hector was going to reveal how he manipulated Lenore. The moment where he was finally going to give her a taste of her own medicine. The moment where he was finally going to go "I won't be a victim anymore, I am breaking free, fuck you. I can't believe you actually thought I could feel any kind of affection for a monster". But noooo, because Lenore was made soooo sympathetic, he HAD to actually fall for her! My heart and hopes and dreams literally shattered the moment Isaac arrived and Hector went "don't hurt her!" :)

1. When it started lolllll The two rape scenes. (they were mixed in one so it counts idc) Not because they exist. But because of what they led to. :) AKA, for Lenector: Rape apologism (it's okay because Hector's a man and he enjoyed it :)), romanticism of abuse (Lenore literally humiliated Hector in front of her sisters, talked about how she was going to use him for sex, went "i made you into my pet just like you always needed :)" while Hector was on his knees having a breakdown, then next season without any warning or development he's all fine with her again), the show shitting on the very idea of Hector getting any agency ever, Hector falling for Lenore with NO DEVELOPMENT, out of NOWHERE, because WHY would we need to show and explain why the abused man would fall for his abuser that he seemingly hated and planned on plotting against at the end of the last season?? There's so many things wrong with this ship and you and other people already explained it before. And for the non-twins twins x Alucard: Poor handling of trauma. We see Alucard crying afterward, cool, NFCV likes to make him cry, visibly. Then he PISS on their CORPSES (what a mature show, so well written compared to those shitty games :)). And though I can relate a bit to the "oversharing with a stranger" part, the fact said stranger literally goes "okay...?" when Alucard reveals his trauma to her like HE'S WEIRD FOR HAVING BEEN ABUSED and makes a JOKE OUT OF IT. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. And then we ever talk about it again or see any consequences of it either. Almost as if the sex scene was useless from the start. :)

Uuuurgh it's finally OVER. There's so much more scenes I could rant about, but hey, it's a top 5, not a top "however much number you need" :) (and thank the LORD it is because it was already complicated and long to make as it is lmao)
