headcanon: he first started gaining respect learning about your writing hobby… however, he only started calling you with “-cchi” after you sassed the hell out of someone for trying to pick on a close friend of yours

you definitely make up for his… unfriendliness with strangers, and while you’re merely conversing with them, you can definitely hear his unfiltered opinions through all the petty mumbling

things might backfire when some of the things he says makes you crack up out of nowhere and the person in front of you is just utterly confused… and then you have to sincerely apologize for your outburst

and every single time, you have to scold this guy to cut it out LOL

see, being paired up with Kise is not good for your tendency to be loud, ESPECIALLY, I repeat, ESPECIALLY, when Hayakawa is nearby

Kasamatsu just… groans, that’s all he does, and now he has your own volume to deal with too

but in the public setting, Kise is still tactful, so especially in store retailers, when he senses you about to yap your mouth, he slaps his own hands over it, trying to shush a confused you

since you’re normally patient, you easily put up with Kise’s… entire being LOL

and when your patience runs very thin (either with him or someone else), Kise would immediately sense it and either stop his behavior and back off or glare off the person who’s making you ticked off

he’s... a little concerned that you’re gullible, and since his own teammate Kobori is just as naive and gullible, he’s very familiar with this personality trait and its repercussions

Kise does get a tad bit annoyed when you easily believe what people tell you and even more pissed at the people spreading false information in the first place, and he’s always telling you with a serious tone:

“(y/n)-cchi, you can’t just believe everyone at face value. You have to take things with a grain of salt and keep a skeptical mind until you see things with your own eyes.”

Kise doesn’t use his serious/blunt side with you frequently, unless you’re about to do something irrational, whether having a gullible or stubborn moment

Kise won’t understand your stress for school ngl, because he’s pretty neglectful of his own studies

he’d probably tell you that a bad grade or a missing assignment isn’t the end of the world or something like that, and you’d probably get pretty ticked off

Kise would have to learn that some people have different priorities, and when you tell him that you being stressed over school is the same as him losing a game, everything just clicks and he suddenly gets you

he thanks all the deities up in the sky when he learns that you’re not picky about where you want to eat and what to eat, and you easily pick things from the menu, scarf it all down, and ask for new recommendations // it’s quite refreshing to see someone not care about how much/what they eat because… y’know, he’s working in the modelling industry

he’s up-to-date with all the latest games and series, and he even plays a few console games himself, so he’d be super eager to introduce you to his own guilty pleasure of gaming

GREAT NEWS! this guy eats physical touch and serves physical touch for all 3 meals of the day

you spacing/zoning out would NEVER happen in the vicinity of Kise because he’ll ALWAYS pounce on you, swing you around, hug you, nuzzle against you, or… all of the above

he loves your hair, and he thinks it’s super unique… he INSISTS ON RECOMMENDING YOU CUTE HAIRSTYLES because he INSISTS that it’d be such a shame for such pretty hair to not be styled and adorned with accessories

Kise is the ESFP, while Himuro is the ISFP (so there’s no need for me to explain about you two’s MBTI, because you share the exact same thing with him)

so he’s more than capable of giving you the alone time you need, because he probably needs the time alone for himself too

he’s also explicitly stated to be good at making friends and socializing, so you also get to experience the more “extroverted” world

he’s someone who just follows you wherever you go for outings and dates because he has absolutely no sense of direction, and if he wants to have ANY chance of being able to make it back home, he’s gonna stick to your side like glue

that means he really doesn’t object to going along your shopping trips and food booth taste-testings, and besides, he gets to spend time with you (and that’s all that he asks for besides a good challenge in basketball)

so whenever his teasing streak shows up, that’s where your sarcastic side kicks in the most

when he has his hard-headed and stubborn moments (especially regarding basketball), you clock some sense into him and confront him about his troubles with the patience that you have

and Himuro easily does the same for you, being the voice of reason in your irrational moments and trying to ease you in with his words and talk the issues out

he’s very capable of being manipulative and cunning, especially in the courts, so when he spots someone who’s going to take advantage of you and your gullibility, he’s immediately leading you away while giving them a knowing look that spells out, “leave now :)”

on the flip side, he’s an absolute gentlemen, always so focused on your needs and quite sweet to you, and your wee little sensitive heart is soaring to the sky with joy

so when you do stress out over school, he’s there by your side in an instant, offering to tutor you in any subject you need and giving any suggestion that would help your assignments get completed faster

ALTERNATIVE AU headcanon: what if you saw Himuro getting decked by Haizaki and you immediately dash to confront him…? chaos ensues

jokes aside, both of you are fiercely protective of each other, it’s not even funny

this may have led a small quarrel between the two of you about “who gets to protect who,” and I’m not just talking about the Haizaki incident, but in general

“What were you seriously thinking?! That was unbelievably dangerous!”

“What the hell?! Did you expect me to sit idly by while I watch you get beat up?!”

“That’s not the point! What if they hurt you?!”

“But I’m not hurt!”

“Shuuuut up,” Murasakibara would childishly say, cutting the both of you off, and suddenly, everyone in the room fears for his life despite him being the tallest in the room. “Why are you two even arguing about the same thing, anyways.” and he says it like a statement, not even a question, as if it was the most obvious thing ever

this is a demonstration of when the two of you can become quite stubborn and hard-headed

but again, this quarrel would be a one-time thing, and as soon as the both of you reluctantly concede and accept the fact that the both of you are willing to do the same thing for each other, your relationship grows stronger

stop, you two have this totally cutest thing that only both do as a couple, and this makes Murasakibara gag and Okamura cry tears of pure jealousy:

it first started as a type of teasing from Himuro, where he’d gently poke and boop your mole above the right corner of your mouth (probably another way to keep you quiet), and not wanting to be bested, you instinctively booped back Himuro’s own mole under his right eye

and then it progressively got to the point of him swooping down his head to peck your mole, and then being really smug when you try to reach his face with your lips (but failing miserably)

the man is really taking advantage of your short height LOL

or when you think he’s about to kiss you and he moves his lips to your mole at the last second, just because

and then you catch him off guard by smooching that beauty mark of his (because his head is lowered to your face at these moments)

Himuro takes complete advantage of the fact that he’s closest to Murasakibara and subtly STEALS his snacks to give them to you LOOLLL, and he knows fully well that Murasakibara wouldn’t be that mad at him compared to if other people tried to steal his food (example: Haizaki)

whenever you give those throwaway comments about how you wanted to try something or whenever you agree with Murasakibara that a particular dish looks delicious… he’s cooking it that very same day, no hesitation AND HE WILL LOOK FOR THE BEST RECIPE FOR YOUR TASTE BUDS

master chef only wants to satisfy his precious customer (except you pay in kisses and wholesome affection)

most of the dates involve you stopping by his house and taste-test his food LOL and sometimes you write while you stay in his house (and it adds more of that nice silence the both of you love)

Himuro takes complete advantage of his friendship with Murasakibara: the sequel — he steals Murasakibara’s hair ties occasionally and gives them to you when he notices how your hair bothers you sometimes, especially if you’re trying to concentrate on school assignments

he has a poker face, that’s very canon, but that doesn’t mean he’s incapable of expressing himself; after all, he said it himself that he just has a different way of showing emotions… so when you make a random joke that’s probably not in the right time nor place, he’d slightly turn his face away and cover it up with a hand, but if you look closely, his shoulders are shaking and he’s silently laughing SO HARD (he’s trying hard to be polite, but why the hell do you have to be so funny?!)

whenever you space/zone out, he lets you be, choosing instead to stare at your idle face and it just makes his heart go yay (that is, until you notice his intense stare and then probably say something sarcastic to get him to stop looking at you like that… but then he’d play dumb and go, “look at you like what?”)

again, when you start fiddling, he just observes you with fond amusement, but then he’d verbally say out his observations:

“Ah, (y/n), that’s the 7th time you’re toying with your rings again.”

“?!?!?!??!”

how the hell are you two the beauty couple??? literally your outfits are actual statements, and Himuro’s looks alone stun everyone (the little kids, the middle-aged women, and even Nijimura himself) into admiration

right???? i mean when i was younger i did have “crushes” but honestly, when i look back at them the ones i had in primary school was either a) a popular boy that all the girls had crushes on or b) a guy who i could potentially befriend and he was so cool i wanted to know him. at the time i didn’t even have anyone pestering me about who i liked bc i had One (1) friend at the time who didn’t care what i thought lmao but i told myself i had those crushes bc i wanted to fit in w the rest of the kids.

and yikes that sounds hard. like, honestly i really do not know if someone confessed that they had a crush on me. i’d probably be flattered on some level? but i’d also be HELLA nervous, probably decide that i’ll at least try it but eventually they’d get disheartened because i never initiated anything. (oops that sounds like how my literal one relationship happened that i never count bc we didn’t have a crush on each other at first until my friend told him that i had a crush on him when i didn’t. and he asked me out bc of it.)

honestly that’s a mood??? i feel like that’d be completely ideal, because as much as i love being on my own and i’m pretty independant, financially that’s not stable at all. i’d love to have a QPP that i can just,,, relax with. decide that i’ve had enough of being on my own and need to lay on top of someone like a cat decides to curl up with another cat. wouldn’t want to share a bed tho bc i can never sleep when sharing lol

Summary: There’s a new message from a stranger in her DMs, but what does he want from her and why exactly is he so freaking cute?

Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader (College AU)

Warnings: swearing; that should be it, I think?

A/N: This is the second fic in two days, who even am I? What am I even doing? What is happening?! My only excuse is that I’ve started this like 2 months ago and only now got round to finishing it so...enjoy?

This might need a second part though, I feel like I need some college dorkiness in my life rn

Also, do some text and ig messages count as making this a social media au? Probably not, since I was too lazy to do that format with the apps and all that?

masterlist // Watermelon Sugar - another part

Natasha is lying on her friend’s bed, furiously typing away at her phone. The chime of incoming messages is constant and it is starting to drive Y/N up the wall.

“You could do this in your room as well, you know.” Turning in her desk chair, ready to start going off on the redhead, Y/N is cut short by a long suffering sigh. “What’s wrong now?” She knows that if she ignores Nat now, she would only get more annoying, which in turn would leave her no chance of finishing studying for the night.

“I’m talking with the people in my group, trying to prepare for the mock trial next month and there’s this guy who is completely infuriating!” Nat spats and lets out another groan, as her fingers fly across the screen. “He says that we should stop defending the CFO and try and get a settlement because it’s obvious he actually did indeed commit fraud. How are we supposed to make a case and win when he’s completely disregarding everything we’ve studied this semester? Of course the prick committed fraud, but we still have to make the case for him, this is the fucking assignment, you pompous asshole.”

“Yeah, babe, I have no idea what you’re saying there, but go you! Down with Wall Street or whatever, but I still need to study for this management exam, so it would be great if you could kindly fuck off to your room?” Y/N smiles at Nat, who finally looks up at her and sighs.

“Fine. I’ll let you study for your stupid exam, but you still need to reply to that cute guy like you promised.”

“Remind me again, why am I supposed to do that?”

“Because you promised, you ass! And your sex life is shit so Wands and I reckon if you get laid, you’ll stop being so stuck up about school.” It’s Nat’s turn to smile sweetly at Y/N, who throws a pen at her retreating form.

“Why are you guys like this?!”

“We both have unresolved daddy issues, now get on with it or I’ll send Wanda in here.”

Y/N sighs heavily and slumps in her chair. She glances at her charging phone on the desk and tentatively picks it up. She unlocks it, a picture of her and her roommates popping up on the screen and the notification is still there. Still taunting her, still adding fuel to her friends’ pestering.

They have looked through his page, of course. They have looked at all the pictures with his friends, some of them recognisable from the halls of college, all the pictures of him in various cafes, restaurants, bars, gyms, but the picture she still comes back to is the one with him at the beach. Wayfarers perched on the bridge of his nose, ruffled hair in the wind, and that tan that stretches from the set shoulders to the prominent six pack (although the bottle of beer in his hand makes those abs so unfair to believe exist) to the firm thighs. She has looked through all of his pictures, analysing every detail and description, still wondering how in the hell she managed to catch his attention enough to grant her a message from him. And then she would go on her profile, filled with pictures from the dance studio, her coffee filled all-nighters in the library, and fair enough, there is that picture of her at the pool where her bum looks just right and she could get why in a sense, but what the hell, look at that guy!

Her fingers still hover over the notification indecisively, when the group chat pops up on her screen.

Wands: do it, bitch

Y/N: I was just getting myself ready!!!!

Wands: u’re a clown

Wands: JUST DO IT

Y/N: why must you attack me like this

Nat: I’m interrupting my fight with that idiot to send you this very important message

Nat: do it, bitch

Y/N: I hate you both

Y/N finally taps on the notification and there - in all its glory there is one simple message that has been giving her a headache since the previous night. Granted, she was a bit drunk on wine, and the shriek she let out when she saw the blinking notification made her toss her phone to the other side of the couch. Wanda picked it up and looked at it confused, while Natasha slumped on the couch in order to see over her shoulder. They both whistled at the same time, which was disturbing in and of itself, thinking how alike all of their mannerisms have become since they became roommates two years prior.

She takes a big breath that does nothing to relieve her nerves, and biting her lip, she finally opens the app to her messages.

JamesBBarnes: Hey

Huh. Funny how such a little greeting makes her tap her leg unconsciously to the point that their downstairs neighbours will be complaining at their door soon. She closes her eyes for a second, shakes her head and mutters a 'what the hell.'

Y/Nwhatthehell: Hi

Now that this obstacle is over, Y/N idly wonders what made her so flustered. He's just a guy who happened to send her a message after following her on Instagram. There's nothing weird about it, is it? They're both attending the same university, she's fairly sure one of his friends is actually the guy Natasha is currently fighting with on that project of theirs. Maybe he just wants to be friendly, maybe he needs some management information for one of his mock trials. Who even knows, so what is she so stressed about? With a huff, she throws her phone away, determined to finish the chapter opened in front of her and relax for the rest of the evening.

She's in the middle of writing the last note on employee engagement, when a ping from her bed startles her into dropping her pen. She turns cautiously, as if sudden movements would force Aragog crawling out of the device, but decides she's being stupid again so she stands up and nearly lunges on the sheets.

As confusion is written all over her face after reading the first line in the notifications bar, she opens the app and stares at the screen.

JamesBBarnes: Listen, I know this might sound weird, but could you ask your friend to stop fighting with Steve? I'm trying to study over here and he's been throwing stuff around since yesterday saying something about a redhead girl who's hijacking his trial just bc she wants to prove a point

She doesn't know what she was expecting, but it's definitely not this. Is that disappointment she feels for hyping herself up just so he can ask this type of nonsense of her? Maybe, but maybe she just feels a little silly for having thought this guy would hit on her on Instagram. She sighs and replies to him, now annoyed with herself more than anything.

Y/Nwhatthehell: why didn't you just send her a message?

JamesBBarnes: From what I've heard about this Natasha, you seemed like the more reasonable one

The reply is swift, and makes her smile. Nat can be a bit too much if not handled with care, especially when it comes to group work. However, Y/N now has what seems like a million questions, and she’s even more confused than a few minutes ago.

Y/Nwhatthehell: how did you even find my IG anyway?

JamesBBarnes: oh Steve has a huge crush on Natasha and we were all forced to go through her every single photo and hear about how amazing she is every single day since the beginning of the year

JamesBBarnes: but maybe don't tell her that

JamesBBarnes: you know what, screw that. You can even show her that msg, the punk will never be man enough to tell her himself, might as well get my revenge for all the days I've been forced to listen to him go on and on abt her

She takes a second to read the messages again, when a howl of laughter bursts out of her chest. She had an inkling this was the case, from the way Steve has suspiciously been assigned to every single group project Nat had since September. And Y/N could bet his feelings weren't unrequited, for all the hissy fits Natasha has been throwing about him lately.

Y/Nwhatthehell: what if i tell you he might get what he wants if i tell her that?

Y/Nwhathehell: would you be able to put up with him when he's in a relationship with her? He's probs gonna be 10x worse

JamesBBarnes: oh shit u're right

JamesBBarnes: fuck it, might as well get it over with. At least he'll stop moping every time she calls him an idiot

portland is a big city , not entirely ideal but it’ll do for now . she leaves california as novi ovard , and is reborn as jessica delaunchy in maine ━ no one remembers a jessica delaunchy , or at least , no one truly knows who she is . she lives with her aunt , no ; her parents work overseas so she lives alone . she’s from somewhere in west virginia , except she doesn’t sound like it , so maybe it was oregon ? apparently she got expelled from her last school for setting fire to the gym , or was it trashing the headmaster’s coupé ? in truth , not much truth is known about jessica delaunchy . she’s only at cape coral because the thought of getting a free ride to an expensive school sounded appealing , and a refreshing change from a life of constant camouflage ; she only joins track , because everyone hates track . she only joins the latin club because who really has the patience for it ? jessica blends in , jessica is just jessica ━ an enigma , hell in heelys , possible undercover secret agent ( ? ) and a heck of a lot of fun to have by your side on friday nights .

Peter gushed about you constantly—Y/Nthis, Y/N that—to anyone that was willing to listen. It was clear as crystal that the young man was head-over-heelsin love with you. With the way he talked about you, you would think you bothhad been together for much, much longer than the short year the two of you had officiallybeen together. finally got my dumbass sister to fucking believe that her past suicidal tendencies and my very current and very, very active suicidal ideation are different things.

my parents were talking about my niece, to start. they’ve been concerned that she might be autistic in the, y’know, boomer kind of concerned. and i was just keeping my mouth shut here because i mean, 1) my niece is barely two years old, not nearly old enough to be showing any actual signs of autism and, 2) they were getting a whole lot of wrong information from a fucking ableist scam video.

so i go to her mother abt it because, uh, yeah i snitch on boomers, esp since they’re my parents. and my sister gets all heated about how she’s been keeping her replies civil, and i tell her all the things my parents were saying behind her back. and it’s just.

i know a lot abt autism bc i was trying to see if i had it before i got diagnosed this year. before my niece was born two years ago. and i was ranting about how ignorant our parents were, completely ignoring the fact that this is the same sister who wouldn’t believe me about my own mental health issues and told me i was selfish for wanting to get treatment.

so she goes on about how she’s friends with a special needs teacher, how that same friend told her her daughter was fine. about how mom got this scam from a friend who was also a teacher with an autistic kid. i go on about how autism is diagnosed differently from amab and afab children, and how all the symptoms online are mostly to diagnose amab children all older than my niece rn

so then i go a bit quiet in the chat bc im trying to track down all the research i did two years ago and stumble on this post:

I’ve talked to them extensively about my diagnosis and given them information about it. They have known me my whole life, and I’ve always been this way. And they still, STILL choose to believe I’m just a bad person who doesn’t try and doesn’t care.

My disability isn’t invisible, people refuse to look at it.

People like problems they can yell at. They like having a target for their frustration. They don’t want to admit disability is real, because they want problems that they can either solve, or blame someone else for. And the disabled person themself is their scapegoat, someone who can’t ever opt out of their role because the disability is never going to go away.”]

she understood.

it took years of arguments and everything else to, if not believe, then at least fucking humor me on this. she says, “it’s ironic that mom keeps pestering me about my kid’s mental health when she can’t even muster up enough fucks to care about her’s.” and i mean, haha, we’re fucking siblings, and yes i am paraphrasing. we’re all different facets of fucked up, having to deal with our parents but i’m glad she fucking came through with this revelation.

and honestly, im a bit scared right now. the first time i told her in 2015, back when she hadn’t even met her fucking husband, she fucking told on mom. and mom took it wrong. hell, her husband even fucking outed me a year ago because they found something on my instagram back when i was still with my ex. and mom took it wrong again.

if she shows mom this, trying to get mom on my side, how fucking wrong is she going to get it again? is she going to come crying to me about how i blame her for all of this and get mad when i say yeah, i do fucking blame her? it’s.

it’s driving me nuts.

"i’m doing some timeline and lore reading for that aulea fic that i am, apparently, actually going to write" yes please and thank you (if you want anyone to vent/ramble/soundboard about it to, hmu)

oh my god thanks, ngl i wrote those posts when i was finally playing the windows edition of ffxv and despite all the new content, they still didn’t say a single word abt anyone’s mum. i actually deleted an earlier post where i was kinda fuming abt that tbh - i mean honestly!! clarus gets mentioned more in the windows edition, but we can’t be bothered to mention anyone’s mum except cindy’s?? and that’s literally just in the base game

that being said, i may be loosely following nanowrimo and doing the aulea fic for that. it’s currently just under 2k but i’ve got a plan (mainly based on the current canon timeline) that i’m following. not super detailed but tbh i work best that way

some highlights of what i’ve planned so far

regis is an annoying teenager who aulea only thinks of as “that insufferable bratty kid who is unfortunately the crown prince” for literally half the story

literally like they don’t even vaguely consider each other valid potential spouses until after regis becomes king and like.... only because they both recognise that regis loathes all the court procedures whereas aulea absolutely Lives For It and they’re finally friends so they’re like ‘...well i guess we might as well??’

and when i say ‘they’, i absolutely mean clarus, aulea, and regis because clarus and aulea have been best friends since they were 14 and clarus was complaining about 9 year old reggie purposely causing shit to get him in trouble

...and this absolutely definitely does not have anything to do with how aulea views regis as a Brat (TM) at best until literally five or six years into the story

tbf regis was absolutely a brat, he’s the only child of king mors and queen audacia, and was born when both his parents were fairly old so he’s literally been spoilt rotten since birth and only starts becoming the regis we know in brotherhood and kingsglaive after fighting on the frontlines of the great war

which is an entire thing in itself tbh, because i’m going with the “barely anyone talks about it because it was hell on earth in every way possible” which is to say regis’ spoilt arse plummets down to earth when he witnesses the shit that goes down on both lucian and niflheimr commands

basically everyone aulea’s age (+/- a decade either side) is incredibly traumatised because there’s nothing quite like seeing your homeland bombed into oblivion

however, aulea’s closest friends are two of her ladies in waiting, lady romulea pervigeo and miss tonitrua macra

yes i realise their names are kinda obvious but tbh they fit with my headcanon that ignis and gladio’s names are actually from family traditions on their mothers’ sides

miss tony is actually about to become lady tonitrua scientia at the start of the story, and has a somewhat classic story of a gentlewoman from an impoverished family marrying young to an older gentleman to help her family out of debt

iggy’s dad is mainly marrying her because aulea pestered her mother into helping tony’s family and the least scandalous way of doing so was marrying tony off to a friendly, absolutely-not-interested-in-women ‘bachelor’ as long as she agreed to have kids (biologically or otherwise, depending on her preference) so he could have some heirs

also iggy’s older sisters (less so iggy himself) grow up with three parents - mama (tony), father (aestus scientia), and papa (aestus’ longterm boyfriend, clypeus)

tbh iggy’s family is actually super chill for 99% of the story, then everything goes to shit (assuming i follow canon i’m planning on going as far as aulea’s death) and tony takes baby iggy off to accordo and doesn’t return to insomnia once until he’s six, at which point he’s reintroduced to baby noct, and even then he spends half the year in accordo until niflheim murders the oracle and tony goes ‘...shit’ and sends iggy to live with his sisters and dads

honestly i could go on and on about this fic for days - i haven’t even mentioned aulea practically (and almost legally) adopting cor, romulea in general, ardyn’s cameo appearance right before the great war kicks off (which i planned before the ep ardyn trailer but is still surprisingly compliant with what we’ve seen so far), aulea’s entire family, galahd’s possible cameo, or the general political debacle that goes down that makes aulea & co. think that aulea and regis getting married would actually be a good idea

week #1 - organizing & outlining

So, just got through with my first week at uni. Only two lectures so far, both mostly full of introductions and occasional interruptions by a healthinspection team for corona. Honestly, didn’t learn anything I hadnt already in a levels, but thats ok. Introductory classes after all. I’m just hoping my one edge lasts when I’m in a class fullll of kids from families of law firms and politicians.

Right now I have a few questions I need to answer.

What do I give priority to here at the start?

How should I divide my studies up? What types of notes should I make? How should I go about this?

What resources do I need to pick and look for?

What is the purpose of this blog?

ANSWER #1

I have a lot to improve on. But to look at each thing is so overwhelming that it leaves me in a state of paralyis. So for now, Im listing them out in order of importance to me

> Get my shit in order. Collect my books, get my new laptop, and set up a good study space

> Figure out my routine. I hate routine. But without any good transport methods it becomes necessary. Two issues with this, one that my mom is difficult and doesnt give me a lot of control on my own schedule. Second is that the library has the texts, but my home has the laptop. I suppose I’ll start taking my ext hard drive but it’ll still be a tad inconvenient

> Make friends and connections. I really need to set up a study system, I like stuydying with people. I also need people to fall back on in case I miss lectures and the like. As much as I hate interacting with people who I can’t be myself around, it will be a necessity. Tangentially related, I need to figure out how I want to appear to others + buy some new clothes for God’s sake.

> Learn TOUCH TYPING. This will be essential if our exams will be given online. Even now I’m typing with jsut two fingers. god. Need to get a speed of 80wpm by the end of this year. Please.

ANSWER #2

I’ve got 5 notebooks so far: class notes, personal notes, cases and summaries, general notebook? [not so sure about this one], and I plan on buying a binder with loose paper to organize final notes. Another thing I need to consider is using OneNote, but that’ll be easier when I finally get my own laptop.

I’ll divide by subject, subjects into chapters, then each chapter as a whole into different aspects to study with.

Primary notes [study guide] + Extra material notes + core concepts and analysis.

Furthermore, summarize each chapter in my own words in an essay form. A blog post from an old LLB UoL graduate recommedned something similar.

Finally, do the activities and tasks at the end of the module.

Now, further along the road, I should start looking up past papers and examiners reports. I should regularly consult my professors too, ask them on my methods and clear up any confusion I may have in my core concepts. Perhaps I’ll find a purpose for that general notebook after all in this regard lol

the teachers seem nice. the criminal law prof does sound a bit intimidating but the lsm professor was very lax, and the contract law prof was very helpful in explanations and i had a talk with him about materials.

i met three people in class so far, janita, sofia, and zainab. i will try talking to them more, but theyre all rather shy in my opinion. i met an IR student called nawal, she was very sweet and likes makeup and fashion. we talked enthusiastically within moments of meeting one another, i cant even remember how many topics we bounced back and forth between. very easy to talk to, and she doesnt have an instagram so.. well not to be superficial , but that does my raise my opinion of her.

I made it through 5 chapters with notes within a week. Assuming I can up the pace to about 6, I can manage to get halfway through the rest of these study guides within 3 or 4 weeks.

I only need to get halfway through, because I need to be slightly ahead of the class, not fully. Then I can focus on learning through textbooks, starting with LSM. It’s the most boring, so Id like it out of the way as soon as possible.

I have the current minimum coverage for auto insurance required by state. About 2 years ago I changed agents so that it is closer to me. Health insurance in Michigan for low income person I live in Chicago, but my mom lives in Northern Michigan. I am reaching out to the Yahoo Answers community for help. My mom is 55 and my dad is 65. My dad gets some health benefits because he is on Social Security, but my mom has nothing. My mom runs a foster care home for abused and mentally handicap kids. I dont know for sure what their income is, but I have to believe it would be in the high 20s to low 30s (nothing). I say foster home, but she really adopted these kids. Because she adopted them, I guess she is technically not employed by the State of Michigan and therefore gets no insurance. My mom is really sick and has no health insurance. She refuses to visit the hospital or a doctor because of the bills. My brother and I have offered time and again to pay for this, but she feels like she is being a burden. I am with Diamond at present and despite being with them for 6years and having 5years NCB their renewal quote is very high. I am potentially downgrading from a 2.8 TDX 4x4 to a 1.2 SXi Corsa and the reduction is only 30!! I looked on confused.com and Swift cover seemed to have a good rate (i know the really cheap ones on there are not so good- high excess etc). This past weekend I get a knock at the door from some neighbors during a storm telling me that I should move my truck out of the street. I walk outside and see that my truck is sitting in nearly four feet of water. The water level rose up to cover the seats and nearly reached the dashboard.
