One of the issues I ran into while working on these is my struggle to keep the style consistent enough lol. ofc artists are their own biggest critics so maybe it bothers me more than it bothers everyone else ehe. In the end I do really like this one! Maybe a bit too cartoony? I hope it's not too distracting LOL!

I remember when we just started working on this I had asked Rory if they could get matching tattoos because I looooove that. But she was one step ahead of me and had already planned it hehehe ♥ We discussed some possibilities of their spelling qualities before settling on the current ones. Like I said I would, I'm going to go through the details I hid in my recent FNAF painting. Not because anyone asked, but because I want to and I'm proud of everything put in

1. Michael's design is my own! I've pretty much had the same concept for the design since SB came out. I just really liked the idea of having part of his jaw missing for no particular reason other than it looks cool. But, I have since moved the jaw gap to the other side, as well as defining scars and wrinkles.

2. I've already posted Golden Freddy but here he is again. I redrew the original poster since I really didn't feel like I just should just slap the original on there. Since I had that freedom now, I decided to make references in the design to later games since it is appearing as a hallucination(?) to Michael. Obviously there are blood stains around the mouth to reference The Bite of '83 and I also added tear stains to reference Evan/CC, said victim of the bite.

3. The classic "Celebrate!" poster. The same thing with Golden Freddy, I didn't feel like I should copy and paste the original so I drew it myself, but this time I only drew the bottom half of the crew since you'd only see that part anyway. Maybe one day I'll fully recreate the poster but for now, this is it lol (You may also notice that I gave each of them different leg shapes, to make them more distinguished from each other other than just colour)

4. And again, didn't want to just copy and paste, so I re-typed all of the newspaper clippings myself in Canva. They say pretty much the same thing as the originals, but I'll still put them here anyway in case anyone wants to take a look:

5. I also recreated the children's drawings myself. Fun fact: I actually used my NON-dominant hand to draw most the basic shapes. I figured that if I drew with my dominant hand, the lines might look too clean, showing my obvious years experience. It's silly but I really wanted it to look and feel like a child drew it

6. It ends up being pretty much invisible in the final painting, but on the floor you can see old confetti and blood stains on the tiles

7. If it wasn't obvious; cup from the Security office is here too

8. Now it should it obvious by now that I chose to not draw the security office. Why you ask? I'm still new to drawing more detailed backgrounds, and I really didn't feel like drawing the office in the moment lol so I opted for the hallway, and I think it still looks pretty good with what I was going for

9. As a bonus, here's the original sketch I planned out. As you can see, I was originally planning to have more posters, some featuring the missing children. But in the end, I decided to scrap it and leave room for the wall to be more detailed since I thought it looked bare. Also, if you look closely, you can see a faint plan for a shadow over Mike. I was originally planning to put a shadow of Freddy there, but when I really started finishing up the shading, I realised that the extra shadow would be too much for an already dimly lit scene

And that's pretty much everything! I had so much fun doing all the little details and references, even though it did end up being more time consuming lol. I also tried out a bunch of different rendering techniques and I think they really helped pulled everything together. I'm definitely going to try my hand and making more paintings like this in the future ^^

These were all done with my non-dominant hand, and Athena was done on a Magma board, if that explains the anything.

The Gavins are the first ones I really did, and they're both caracals! I've kinda wanted to go back and change Klavier a bit in regards to an insane headcanon, but caracalvier is too iconic like this, I just can't do it

Putting Maya and Fran together, cause they're both kitties! If Maya was a specific breed, then I forgot, but Fransizka (and her dad, by extension) are both oriental longhairs. If I weren't presently injured, I'd draw a scrungly Manfred, but alas your mind's eye will have to do the work.

Phoenix is a puppy dog! Very very nearly made him a hyena... But I couldn't. I couldn't reconcile it with Ryunosuke. I have a Yeenix in the back, for any interested parties

LASTLY for my main-series designs is Athena! She's a seal. I don't think I had a specific reason besides not being able to get ears to fit with that ponytail... Might change her to a sea lion, though!

Sholmes is a lion (with his sad little low testosterone mane)! He was easily the hardest, as I went back and forth... Alot. He was a pigeon at first! I contemplated rabbit..? But I tried to steer away from the mascot designs, generally. I'm happy with the decision of lion, however, mostly cause it gives him fun symbolism with the whole Professor thing.

The van Zieks-es are unicorns, and Bunnybrain is a pony! I could go more in-depth, buuut that's kinda spoilery

Ryunosuke and Kazuma (not pictured) are both puppy dogs, and I think I settled on bunny for Susato?? To make her pops a bunny also? I also have some sketches of her as a sugar glider, but I don't really like most of their art 👎 so there's a couple gaps here

If anyone wants to (??!?!?!!) you can use these designs for pretty much anything you want (and feel free to extrapolate upon the rest of their designs, most of these are very limited), just make sure to tag me, partially for credit, but also because I'd just REAAAALLY want to see... 5 tips for the work-at-home witch ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

when i'm not witching around, i actually have a day job! my job is primarily a work from home job, spending my days alone in my room writing reports and reading legal documents... it gets stale (●´⌓`●) this is a list of some little witchy things i do to keep my head on straight and prevent myself from going mad and impulsively quitting my job!

some of these tips might also work for students!

you might have to switch it up a bit, but some of these tips could help you get through homeschooling, digital learning days, or homework.

₊˚⊹♡ 1. light a candle ♡⊹˚₊

one of the first things i do when i begin work for the day is to light a simple votive candle. the element of fire is a strong element, and by lighting a candle you can harness the energetic energy of the flame. the goal of lighting a candle while you work is to keep yourself "fired up" per say ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ . light the candle with the intention of remaining motivated and energized. for extra effectiveness, you could dress the candle with herbs that also have energizing metaphysical properties. (remember, though, always double check that your herbs are safe to burn!)

₊˚⊹♡ 2. use a sigil ♡⊹˚₊

sigils are an extremely simple yet effective way to use magick! personally, i like to draw the sigil on the back of my dominant (or "working hand") with a non-permanent marker. if you follow this method, be sure to wash it off once you've finished work for the day! leaving a sigil on your body too long can be a bit draining in my personal experience.

if you're more artsy, you could make a piece of art out of a sigil to keep on your desk. a painting, a piece of embroidery, a sketch, or even some digital art done and turned into your desktop wallpaper (tech witches would love that, i feel.)!

i personally like to make my sigils for work out of phrases like "may i work efficiently", "may my work be done properly", but & "may information come easily to me".

₊˚⊹♡ 3. money bowl ♡⊹˚₊

i actually haven't done this yet (˃ᆺ˂) it's a spell i plan to do during the next full moon.

but! the idea of a money bowl is to essentially bring more money in to your life. if you're looking for a promotion or a pay raise, a money bowl on your desk certainly won't hurt!

₊˚⊹♡ 4. work outside ♡⊹˚₊

if you're able, work somewhere other than you're typical working area at least once a week. coffee shops, libraries... even a different room in your house! the change of energy will keep you from feeling too stagnant.

i really recommend taking your work outside, if able. sometimes, i print out a few documents i need to read and go sit out under a tree in my yard. sitting outside in nature not only helps to keep you grounded, but it also helps foster your connection with the local nature spirits. connecting to your local nature spirits AND getting your work done at the same time... talk about multitasking! (ᴗᵔᴥᵔ) if you can't work outside, then take time during your breaks to step outside. a small walk or even just sitting outside under the sun is enough to help keep your centered.

₊˚⊹♡ 5. enchant a watch ♡⊹˚₊

i have severe ADHD, but i also have severe severe severe anxiety. because of this, under my doctor's guidance, i can't take ADHD medicine for fear of my anxiety medicine not working effectively. since i'm rawdogging my ADHD i tend to have a hard time staying on schedule... so i've enchanted my watch!

i recommend using materials that promote focus and organization. ever since casting an enchantment on my watch, i've noticed an uptick in my overall productivity in all facets of my life - work included. i haven't missed a deadline, and while i still have a nasty habit of procrastinating, once i finally make the effort to begin work i find myself staying on schedule way easier than before.

A Philosophical or Literary term that implies a kind of overwhelming splendor or dazzling-ness that is beyond normal human means, has been in use since Ancient Greece (See Translators Comments)

Radio Waves, or Denpa, is a style of Japanese Literature but also a characterization term discussing someone who is out of touch with reality, as in, it has a similar affect to "Tinfoil Hat" or someone who believes they hear voices from electromagnetic radiation. The singer, Shinosawa Hiro may be described as "denpa"

Sine waves can be used to describe the frequency of Radio Waves

Literally translates to, Blue, though has a youthful connotation so bright seems to fit better

Somnolence is often a symptom of an underlying condition or a result of someone's physical health. Hiro responds to the question of "How do you spend your off days?" with "Just recovering. I'm doing my best not to die." Her general constitution & sleep nature suggests this sort of underlying need for sleep at all times

Beta, the Greek Letter, is borrowed from the Phonetian word *bayt; meaning, "dwelling, house", the Beta here might suggest an emergence from one's home & perhaps calls upon a sort of Shut-in or cut off from reality imagery

Hiro is left handed, this refers to how she is navigating the idol world, something which she finds herself not apt for which is akin to using one's non-dominant hand to draw. Yet, she sees the potential in practicing what one is not good at.

This stanza may represent each of the potential stats for training in Idolmaster Gakuen; respectively, Vocals, Dance, and Visuals. Shinosawa, the singer, believes she is not particularly talented in any of these fields, though she trains to "defy" that expectation that she is no good at being an idol

The Ancient Greek word that "Philosophy" is derived from; meaning, "The love of wisdom"

Translator's Comments:

This song depicts a sort of interplay between the speaker's dreamlike innerworld & perception in contrast to the strange reality they find themselves in. The song also discusses the great joys & wisdom of experiencing things in the world & the mysteriousness of knowledge. The singer leaves their body & enters, not the real world, but another fantastical world through their daydreaming fantasy. There's a distinct throughline of engaging with Hiro's weak physical condition, & her dissociation from that within this song. "Mekurume" is translated here as The Sublime which is an Ancient Greek philosophic term (Popularized in Modern Literary Criticism by Emanuel Kant) which describes when things are so vast & beyond human perception that they are overwhelmingly dazzling. The name "Mekurume" is a shortening of 目くるめく (mekurumeku) which is a verb which means "To dazzle, to blilnd", though, is a kind of confusion or overwhelming produced by vision or fatigue. Such is a common symptom of Hiro's physical condition. Yet, the Sublime fits this meaning as well, as it is the visual perception of things considered "Sublime"; for example, the vastness of the universe, or the beauty of a mountain range which surpasses the horizon, illicit the same sort of "Mekurumeku" sort of feeling. This in tandem with the Ancient Greek references throughout the text suggest a meaning like "The Sublime".

Hi☺✨First of all, before starting with the headcanon, I would like to apologize for the lack of posts in this period😥but I've been a bit busy and as far as the sketches are concerned, as you can imagine, they are progressing, it's just that I'm slow as hell at drawing🙈so to make up for it, I'm working on some RAD classmates x Y/N (anon/MC) art💜Now regarding your ask, I'd say that it's clear enough that messing around with MC isn't a good idea😂and that they know how to defend themself😌but in any case, here's the reaction of the RAD classmates:

RAD CLASSMATES WITH AN MC WHO GOT INTO A FIST FIGHT WITH A DEMON (AND WON)

DEMYA

Demya would honestly be very proud of MC and the idea of ​​her mate engaged in a fight to the death would attract/excite her quite a lot, perhaps also due to the propensity for fighting that her family and tribe had. Besides, she wouldn't care much about the reason for the quarrel, nor who was right or wrong, because Demya would still protect MC in any case and at any cost, what kind of mate would she be otherwise? She believes their relationship dinamyc is the "ride or die couple" after all.

In case MC got wounds or bruises, Azul would take care of them, using cute plasters and personally kissing better each bruise, because according to him, kisses make pain go away more than any other kind of magic (if MC got too hurt though, Azul would use magic, leaving aside the more traditional methods). Also next time he'd like to assist, just to cheer for MC like the fanboy he is and to step in in case something went wrong

ZURI

Among the RAD classmates, Zuri would probably be the least in agreement with MC's choice to use violence, even if deserved, only because she worries that her beloved could receive disciplinary measures in case they were in the wrong for starting a brawl and she would also find it a waste of time to get their hands dirty because of another annoying demon.

Zuri would recognize MC's impressive physical performance, and would probably turn a blind eye this time, but she would suggest them to use magic in case such an event repeated itself, or to let her take care of the problem directly, since Zuri knows how to be very...persuasive, both with words and even with a single icy glare

ODON

Although violence doesn't bother Odon, considering that they had to deal with it for many years of their long life and that it's a rather common phenomenon in Devildom, they would be worried about MC, certainly pleasantly surprised by their physical strenght despite their human nature, but still worried because MC is their dear friend and Odon doesn't want them to get in danger or trouble (although usually, saying that MC is with Odon, is enough to keep most demons at bay).

Odon would make sure MC is feeling okay and then ask them to try their best not to react harshly to taunts from any demons, because it wouldn't be worth it to ruin their day due to an unkind person, or at the very least...to bring the eye-like creatures with them, who should be enough to repel other demons or at least those with a common sense. The eye-like creatures would act like creepy watchdogs, so MC shouldn't have any more problems

Kinda yes? But my taste in art and aesthetics is pretty broad i'd say, so my art just doesn't really capture ALL of it. I can't do soft brush strokes for example, or super detailed stuff, but my art fits the simplified, strong strokes aesthetic. Also i draw ganqing the way i like, trying to give them a feeling of just normal aged adults, bc i don't rlly enjoy certain anime styles that are very prevalent in genshin fandom, naturally 😅

Maybe lively and dynamic, just less stiff. I'm better at poses than before, but there's still so much room for improvement. I wish i was bolder/better with colors in general, tho i ended up actually rlly liking my last colored piece! One of my practices of drawing with left-hand (my non-dominant hand). Due a problem with my right arm that makes me unable to do daily things normally (including drawing), I've needed to train my left hand and learn to be ambidextrous. It's difficult and I do things slower than usual, but it's just temporary. That's why I haven't submitted drawings on my galleries in a while.

‘Me and You’

I found this workshop extremely engaging, it disrupted the brain pattern that tells me there’s a perfect way to do something and erase all mistakes instead we leaned into that voice by using non dominant hands and doing quick 30 second - 10 minute sketches that allowed us to make 150 drawings in total!

I discovered a love for charcoal and enjoyed manipulating light and shade in order to make my forms and am planning on utilising this skill in my works for my project

Using charcoal i found it was a great medium to add depth to surfaces such as cracks, it’s here i utilised it to mimic an area disrupted by pyrite with cracks and depth

I also used paint to disrupt the surface of a page in layering motions to emulate the disruption of surface with cracks,

Me and You workshop.

Today I had my first workshop in the scale studio. In this workshop I was tasked with making multiple quick charcoal sketches of a person sitting in front of me. I did 20 sketches that took 30 seconds each, 10 sketches that took 1 minute each and 1 sketch that took 10 minutes. While sketching I was instructed to focus mainly on the pose of the person sitting in front of me. I also did several blind drawings without looking at the paper in order to improve my eye-hand coordination Later I was tasked to repeat the process using my non-dominant hand and I created another 31 sketches using my left hand.

This are my 8 favourite 30 second sketches I did. I used my right hand to sketch them and these were not blind drawings.

This was my final sketch of the day which I sketched using my left hand within 10 minutes. I have done one 10 minute sketch previously that day using my other hand, however I like this one more because it is more detailed and it depicts similar pose to the 30 seconds sketches I have done before.

Usually not really. I’ll often doodle in class but when I have the time to do an actual art piece I generally get streight into it. I did do a set of expression studies in preparation for drawing Emperian Weeping Donatello though.

My go too to draw is always ninja turtles, almost always my In This Together characters, but specifically for comfort I often do ship art either for Leo/Usagi/Karai or Raph/Casey(aka Mona Lisa, but shhh, I’ve got a comic in the works explaining that 😉)

Ok, so this one’s kinda funny. I really like discovering new music but I do it in the most deranged way possible. Every time I see someone mention a song online I copy the link to their post and paste it in my notes app. So then when I want to listen to some new tunes I just open up notes and click on a random link. I’ve been introduced to some really interresting songs that way, like Redesign Your Logo by Lemon Demon.

“LIAVOSSO’S GALACTIC JOURNAL! - entry one: the Mantisi.”

This is one of the first of perhaps quite a few entries into what is basically just an easy way to summarise the nature of the various species in this universe. No music this time - but do read on! The remainder of this post is basically what the writer (Liavosso) has written in unity with it - on a separate piece of paper.

“Well - this hasn’t been a great start for what I was hoping would be a fun and easy way to recall my encounters with people… first they fight me on sight - then I discover their blood is WAY too good at staining! Like, I’m trying to shake off the ‘evil probably-cannibal Demon-monster descended from a famous murderous bounty-hunter with a Void-thing for a limb’ narrative, and here I go getting alien blood on so much paper that I might as well paint with it!… and I did - but dammit I had nothing to colour with!

But anyway! Anyway… the first entry of my journal is dedicated to the Mantisi - or more accurately - the White Herald. What I aim to do in each addition is have a model of a certain species pose so I can sketch them in all their glory and write about what I’ve learned about them - as well as my opinions and experiences with them. While I couldn’t do that here, I hope next time they are a little more… non-weird. Now, anyone who knows the White-Herald probably thinks I’m a bit mental for picking them first, but I have a good reason: my daughter (adopted) is a descendant of a White-Herald royal - which does incentivise me to get them out of the way early… She doesn’t mind me killing them - if you’re wondering - they aren’t exactly her favourite people.

So - first thing to mention: biology and history! The Mantisi are unusual, in the sense that they are one of the first milky-way residents (in this iteration of the universe) to gain the knowledge of genetic editing. Now, most Mantisi just got two legged variants and removed wings - and left it there. But the White-Herald… they went mad with it. They edited their features, their minds, even their natural defences, to look more like my subspecies - the Vyrocepters (not very well - but they have a ‘plan’ for that). To save time - and skip hours of lore about who did who and what that meant for whoever else - my Mum boinked one of their albino ones a long while back, and a big cult developed to preserve and advance that particular variation of Mantisi in order to somehow create viable offspring with anyone of my species. So, all White-Herald royals are albino, and have the more… ‘bug-like’ lower bodies, while their soldiers are two-legged, and are a dark shade of green. You won’t get too many who look more like other heralds - but there are some weird mutations for… obvious reasons. Things like four arms, multiples pairs of wings, and durable shells. Ok - so not much of that was biology than it was history, but again, this is a hectic start.

I’ll put this in too, because everyone asks - yeah they do have the same ‘fun-time’ organs. It’s a common thing with Mantisi that people think what goes on downstairs does much more than sit on a different bit of the undercarriage depending on which one you come across, but no - all of them tend to be compatible. At worst the top half of a royal has the soldier placement of the appropriate parts.

Ok! Next bit, next bit… what was the next bit… oh! My opinion! It’s not great. To me, the White-Herald are a stain on the race as a whole, and the universe they inhabit. I personally couldn’t see myself liking any one of them, even with my daughter in mind, and I doubt they would really ‘like’ me, despite their obsession with trying to make a bug and a mammal (I think we’re mammals - GenoDemons I meet won’t specify) work. So I’d say avoid them. That… might also be a good summary. Ok - next time I’ll have this sorted - with the Lybadora. In the meantime I’m gonna figure out how to phrase all this. Blade’s been a help, but in the end it isn’t my dominant hand and it can’t explain things well unless it’s in a pickle. Until next time!”
