❝ I LIKE YOU... / I KNOW. ❞ your confession doesn't shock 'em one bit
with mikey, ran, rindou + very nervous!reader (toman timeline)
notes just a wholesome confession scene lol mikey's just as much as a nervous idiot as you are, ran is ... ran, and rindou is also an idiot . also i promise im working on requests i have like seven to work through sobs
it's not like it was hard.
he always felt your eyes on him: passing you in a hallway, in class (which he barely attended, but found himself showing up just to watch you suffer), randomly bumping into each other while out with friends... at first, he didn't care. he had a lot of attention going for him and he thought of you as another drop in the bucket.
but then he found himself paying attention to you.
when you weren't not-so-secretly pining over him, you were looking out the classroom window, a peaceful expression on your face that told him that you were about to fall asleep. or maybe you were with your friends, smiling widely as you exchanged snacks. or maybe you were giggling, your face on fire as your friends helped you craft some kind of candygram.
whatever he caught you doing, he found it endearing. and he couldn't escape it. but for reputation's sake, he tried to hide his adoration and amusement underneath his tough guy exterior. that quickly broke when you finally approached him.
your friends peeking from the hallway behind you both, you gently tapped his arm and your heart almost stopped functioning from nerves.
he cast an uninterested look over his shoulder, eyebrows raised. it was you. "hm?" internally, he was intrigued; he never thought you'd actually come up to him.
"i, uh..." you bit your lip, trying to shock yourself into calming down, but your heart still echoed in your chest.
"did you need something?"
"i'm sorry!" you exclaim suddenly, squeezing your eyes shut as you thrust the snack into his hand. "i like you!"
MIKEY
mikey's heart skipped a beat. "i know."
"uhm..." you whined softly, your body on fire. this was so embarrassing. "okay, bye!" you quickly spun around, hoping that he'd forget it the moment you disappeared around the corridor. he knew?! he KNEW? the fuck did that mean?? WHY DID YOU LEAVE SO FAST?
"wait," mikey's hand gripped your wrist. you squeaked and tried to pull away, but that only caused you to drift closer to him. his own face was dusted pink. "thanks for the snack."
you cast your eyes to the ground. "yeah, i know you're always eating it, so..."
mikey smiled, his grip softening into a delicate hold. he would never dream of giving up a chance to be with the one he'd been yearning for ever since he noticed your starry eyes on him. "wanna ride around with me?"
your eyes lit up and you sent a excited look to your friends. turning back to him as you both walked to his bike, you nervously asked, "so, you said you knew?" you asked, dreading the answer.
mikey smirked, his eyes lidded as he teased you. "yeah, s'not like you were good at hiding it."
"ugh, seriously?" you cringed, hiding your face in your hands. mikey's chuckle brought your eyes to peek over your fingers.
"it's okay, it was... cute." his voice grew quieter, like he was a little embarrassed to admit it.
you blinked at him before you truly processed his words, your heart bursting. "what?!"
mikey looked everywhere except you. "you—you heard what i said! just—come on." he grabbed your hand and ran over to his bike. his hand gripped the top of your head and you were so confused until he pulled a helmet out and slotted it over you. he clasped the buckle under your chin.
he stared at you for a moment before smiling with adoration. your face felt warm as butterflies filled your stomach.
"heh." he giggled, holding the sides of the helmet so that you couldn't hide your face from him. "cute."
as time went on, mikey wasn't so bashful when expressing his love for you.
RAN
he grinned. "ohhhh, i know." he dragged out his triumphant proclamation. "i know."
your face burned and you didn't know what to say to that. so, you bailed. "uh... okay? see you around!" you quickly turned. he knew? why'd he have to say it like that?
it took a moment to realize he was following you.
"so, where are we going?" he asked, tossing the snack package up in the air and catching it. "s'okay if it's far, i got a ride."
you stopped dead in your tracks, bewildered. "what?"
he cocked his head to the side, a calm smile on his face. "aren't we going out?"
you nearly screamed at the suggestion, not expecting this from him at all. "i—no??" you shoved your face into your hands. "i don't know!"
he laughed, captivated by how flustered you were. ran was a guy who liked to sweet talk and see his effect on others, and your reactions were just too good. "come on, i know you've been wanting some time alone with me for a while. you're not so secretive."
you groan and shy away from him. peeking from behind your hands, you meekly asked "was it that obvious?"
he grinned. "yeah. but all the better for me, right?" he put an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close to his side and leading you out the school. "knowing i got a pretty thing like you thinking about me all day."
you rolled your eyes, finally starting to come down from the high of your confession. "it wasn't all day."
ran smiled, so tempted to respond with well, that was the case for me, but he figured you'd probably faint. he'd save that for the next time.
RINDOU
"i know." he blurted out before he could think of something better to say. for all the bones he broke, rindou's resolve was weak. but he was good at faking it.
he could tell you were confused, not expecting his response.
you fidgeted with your fingers before you finally spoke up, your face burning. "uh... okay..?" how the hell is anyone supposed to respond to that.
rindou panicked internally, rubbing the back of his neck as he sighed. "are you free right now, or what?"
your eyes lit up as your downcast gaze snapped to look at him. "i am."
a smile cracked on rindou's face as he chuckled with amusement. "then, let me take you out."
"really?!" sure, it wasn't the most glamorous thing to say, but you couldn't help it. you were excited.
"yeah. i mean, you did buy me a snack, so." he held up the package proudly. "gotta return the favor, right? come on, i got a ride."
you tried to hide how triumphant you felt as you followed him diligently. he was awkward, not possessing the same level of finesse his older brother did. like, what does he say to you??
"so..." you started, taking the lead.
oh, thank god. he let out the breath he didn't know he was holding.
"you said you knew?" you mumbled, making a point to avoid his stare. "was it obvious?"
he smirked. "yeah, it was very obvious." you winced, but he continued. "don't worry. it was interesting."
you twisted up your lips in a cringe. "interesting as in a good way, or...?"
rindou racked his brain. ran was always good at thinking on the spot—what would he say? his lips moved before he could stop them. "interesting as in i couldn't stop thinking about you."
you both stared at each other—rindou in absolute shock of what just left his lips and you, completely flustered. your heads whipped away from looking at each other, lips pressed in a tight line as a million different thoughts ran through them. rindou was sure he creeped you out, but then he heard you giggle.
he looked back at you, reading every inch of your expression. you smiled softly. "that was so cheesy."
you kept on laughing to yourself, somehow enamored by his stupid line and he knew he was flying off the deep end.

“WHAT DO you think, baby?”
Bella stared at you before she started running around the place, sniffing every corner.
It was officially your first day living in Vancouver. You had been coming and going to Vancouver ever since you’d signed your contract with La Vie en Rose, arranging things and getting your shit together.
Nicholas was right, their team took care of everything, and they got you a nice place too. You still had to pay rent but at least you didn’t have to go apartment hunting, which was something you hated.
You and Bella landed in Vancouver last night, and you didn’t have the energy to do anything but lay on your bed with her and sleep the entire Saturday. It was Sunday now, and you were trying to get Bella used to the rooms before you had to leave for your first shooting on Monday.
“It’s not so bad, is it?” You asked her, putting your hands on your waist. “I think it’s nice.”
Your phone rang and you picked it up, reading Quinn’s text with a smile on your face.
You’ve been texting everyday since that day at his house, and you felt like the world was finally spinning right again. Having Quinn back in your life— and consequently Ellen, Jim, Luke and Jack as well— made you so happy it was almost unbelievable.
He texted at weird hours, sometimes at three a.m. and sometimes at six p.m., but he always asked about you and how you were doing. Have you eaten? How’s the moving going? Do you need any help?
You’d stare at those texts and ask yourself the same thing you’ve been asking since you were eleven: why he was so kind to you? Not that you were complaining. It just felt weird to have someone who cared as much as he did again.
You told him you were now permanently living in Vancouver and he told you he’d come see you whenever he got back from Seattle. You felt your heart beating faster just with the thought of him at your place, both of you alone for the first time after that awkward moment at his house, with you hangover as fuck.
Now you would be sober and in your space, not his.
You sighed, watching Bella preparing herself for a nap in her massive bed by the balcony and you decided that napping was the right solution for you too.
౨ৎ
YOUR FIRST day at La Vie en Rose had been a success, not that you expected anything else.
Turns out your editor-in-chief, Victoria, was one of the nicest people you had ever met; she talked you through the process of working for La Vie en Rose and answered all of your questions with patience and kindness.
“You were our target for a long time before we managed to snatch you,” she joked when you mentioned that working with them was a dream come true. “So we’re the ones who should be thankful.”
She took you to her favorite restaurant and bought your lunch while she talked your ears off, in the best way possible. You never had a girl friend before. Between casting and auditions, you never got to make many friends. And in the world of modeling, there weren’t friends— you had to see the other girls as your opponents, people you had to defeat. Your body had to be better, your hair had to be shinier, your catwalk had to be smoother.
So when Victoria treated you as a friend, even if you’d met each other a few hours ago, it was like the universe was being kind to you again.
You were on your way home, enjoying the view as you walked down the streets, grateful that you still didn’t have a car because the city was really beautiful, even with the cold weather.
You arrived at your apartment, going all the way up to the ninth floor. When you opened your door, Bella almost knocked you down, jumping on you and licking your face.
“You’re going to hurt mommy, baby,” You laughed, caressing her fur. “I missed you too.”
She barked and you got up, finally closing the door and removing your heels. You left your bag on the couch and ran to your bathroom, desperate for a hot shower and pajamas. The best part of your house was the central heater system, and the fact that you got to wear your tiny pajama sets even when it was snowing outside.
You did your nightly skincare and spread the vanilla scented lotion on your entire body, before applying your favorite perfume— no need to specify the scent. You were a vanilla girl through and through and you would never leave the house unless you smelled like a bakery.
It was only eight p.m. but you were so tired that all you wanted to do was crash in your bed and sleep, but you still had to give Bella her dinner. So you walked to your laundry room, where you kept all of her things— you were that king of dog mom who buys your dog three hundred winter clothes and five hundred chewing toys— and grabbed her food pot, shaking it lightly to grab her attention.
Which worked momentarily because next thing you knew the doorbell was ringing and Bella was running to the door, barking loudly.
“Bella!” You reprimanded her, putting your index finger in front of your mouth and shushing her. “Quiet, please.”
You opened the door even without knowing who was on the other side, which was probably a bad and dangerous thing to do, but it was just Quinn, wearing a suit and holding a suitcase.
“Quinn?” You watched as Bella jumped on him, excited to see someone else. “Bella, down, please. Leave him alone.”
“Oh, hello there,” he bent over and patted Bella’s head, caressing her fur while she licked his hands. “Who are you, hm?”
“That’s Bella,” you said, opening the door so he could get inside. You watched as he got up and stared down at you, eyeing you up and down. You followed his gaze and realized that you were still only wearing your pink, almost see through pajama set and with the cold breeze that hit you when you opened the door, your nipples decided that now was a good time to mark through your shirt. “Um.”
Something flashed through Quinn’s eyes, but you didn’t know what. He coughed, closing the door for you. “I didn’t know you had a dog.”
“O-oh, right. Bella,” you looked at her, watching as she sniffed Quinn’s things. “I adopted her when I moved to LA. We were both alone and she was living at a shelter.” You smiled, remembering the day you took her home. “She was so small and so scared. She was sitting alone at a corner and I just… I couldn’t leave her there.”
Quinn chuckled, nodding. “You’re still the sweetest person I have ever met.”
“Oh, stop it,” you croaked, smiling.
“Just saying,” he shrugged, putting his hands on his pocket and resting his body against the door. “I just came to check on you. Nice place you got here.”
You looked around, agreeing with him.
“It is, I was just telling Bella this,” you started. “It’s not big but it’s perfect for us. I like it a lot. Especially the heater.”
“That’s nice too,” he agrees. “What are you having for dinner?”
You stared at him, confused. Only that you couldn’t tell him that dinner wasn’t something that happened everyday in your world.
“Hum,” you stutter. “Nothing? I was just ready to go to bed, actually.”
“That’s too bad,” he removed his shoes and started walking around your place like he’d been there a million times before. “I’m starving. We just got here from Seattle. What do you want me to cook?”
“You don’t need to cook anything,” he cocks his head at you, eyes staring deep into your soul. “I’m not hungry. But I can cook something for you if you want to.”
“I don’t like eating alone. And you can’t just go to bed without eating anything.”
“Quinn…” you sigh, placing your hands on your hips. “Don’t do this. Please?”
“I’m not doing anything, I’m just saying. So,” he claps his hands. “What are we having?”
“Jesus, I forgot how annoying you are,” you roll your eyes, holding back a smile. “We can maybe have a salad.”
“If you want to kill me, there are faster ways to do it,” he whines and you laugh. “Can I take care of dinner and you take care of Bella while I cook?”
“I wanna help.” You pout and he smiles.
“You can help by sitting there,” he points at your dinner table. “And looking pretty. You’re good at that anyway.”
You laughed out loud, wrapping your arms around your chest. “You’re old and annoying, Quinn Hughes.”
He opened your cabinets, searching for something with his eyes.
“What do you think about rice and salmon?” He asks, picking up the rice package.
“Maybe potatoes instead of rice?” You suggest, pointing at the potato sack sitting in your kitchen trolley.
“Alright,” he pulls up the sleeves of his suit, and goes to the sink to wash his hands. “Let’s get to work.”
To your surprise, Quinn moved around your kitchen with ease, even when he had never visited you before. He finely chopped the potatoes, putting them in the oven to let them roast before he moved to the salmon, seasoning it with the spices you had in your cabinet.
He listened to you the entire time, with you yapping about your day and how nice Victoria had treated you and how Nicholas had called you mid-shooting to ask how you were doing.
“What exactly do you do?” He asked, while you grabbed a wine bottle from your fridge.
“Well, it depends,” you replied, grabbing wine glasses from your cabinet and opening the bottle. “Sometimes I just take pictures all day, in different locations and outfits. Sometimes I have to go to runways. Sometimes both. Not to mention the social media work, the TikToks and all of that.”
“I don’t even wanna hear about TikToks,” he rolls his eyes, making you laugh. “The Canucks media team are always asking us to do stupid trends and answer weird questions. What does ‘very demure’ even mean anyway?”
“You’re too old for that, Quinny,” you joke, filling your glasses up. “Do you know what I think?”
“Hm?”
“I think you should come see me at a runway show,” you suggest, knowing damn well Quinn would never sit on a chair for an hour and a half just to watch women wear weird, provocative clothes and catwalk on a platform. “It’d be interesting.”
“Only if I get to bring my team with me so it’ll be less boring.” He fires back, checking on the salmon in the pan.
“I’m sure they won’t mind watching women in underwear or something similar.” You smile, watching as he nods with his head and sips on his wine too.
“I’m sure of that too.”
He resumes cooking while you finish your first glass of wine, already in for your second. You set the table, turning the TV on for Bella— she likes watching TV sometimes, and that’s fine!— before sitting down to eat Quinn’s tasty-looking meal. After you got your first bite of the salmon, you couldn’t help but moan.
“I didn’t know you knew how to actually cook, Quinn Hughes,” you say, chewing on the fish. “When did you even learn that?”
“I’m a grown man now, Maddie,” he laughed and you rolled your eyes at him.
“Like that means anything. I know Ellen would cook for you everyday if you asked her to.”
“Yeah, but I’m not around her so much anymore, so I just figured out it’d be good for me to know how to take care of myself. And turns out I really like cooking.”
“This is heavenly, thank you so much,” you sip on your wine as the same time he sips on his, smiling because you liked his company a lot.
౨ৎ
“AND THEN, Jack asked them to flash him and the worst part is that someone caught that on camera.”
You laughed, letting your body fall forward, feeling lighter than ever. You and Quinn were sitting on your couch, already in your second bottle of wine. Bella was chewing on one of her toys and it was already ten thirty.
Quinn was now wearing just his white, dress shirt with the first two buttons open, his jacket lost somewhere alongside his tie. You couldn’t help but notice how the fabric of the shirt held his muscles in all the right places, getting tighter every time he flexed his muscles.
Quinn was hot, and he had always been in your eyes. He was only twenty-four, almost twenty-five, but he looked older, mature. Something about him being a hockey player, the captain, made you feel confused and hot at the same time.
“Jack girlies must have gone crazy with that video,” you add after you stop laughing, watching as Quinn nods.
“Tell me about it,” he runs his fingers through his silky, somehow hydrated hair, and you find yourself wondering how it’d feel for you to do the same. “It was crazy. But I don’t really get the appeal.”
You scoffed. “You don’t get the appeal? Have you seen you or your brothers?”
He raised an eyebrow at you. “So what? We’re alright, I guess,”
“You’re crazy,” you roll your eyes at him, incredulous. “I spent my teenage years ignoring guys because you ruined all of them for me and you’re saying you’re just alright?”
He chuckles, turning his head around and staring at you, blue eyes darkening.
“What do you mean by that, Madison?”
Maybe it was the fact that it was already late at night and you were tired, or maybe it was the alcohol, or maybe the fact that the last time you had had sex with someone had been more than six months ago, but something about the way Quinn asked you that question, calling you by your name out of all things, made you wonder.
You were both grown up now. You weren’t fifteen anymore, innocent and afraid of voicing your needs. And Quinn looks like he knows how to make a woman see stars…
Besides what they say about big noses, you caught yourself thinking, before you could even stop yourself.
Crossing your legs and unconsciously squeezing your thighs together, you answered, softly:
“It’s silly,” you bit your lip, unsure of what you would even say. This is definitely the wine’s fault. “I had a crush on you growing up.”
You expected him to laugh and play it off, like he used to do whenever Jack or Luke mentioned that one of their girl friends had a crush on their older brother, Quinn. You expected him to give you that brotherly look he used to give you when you were younger and asked him questions about his life and family.
But the look he gave you had something different, something rawer. Something that made your skin crawl in the best way possible, that lightened something inside you.
“Did you now?”
“Mhm,” you nod with your head. “That’s why I’ve never had any boyfriends or hook-ups, even after you left. You ruined them all for me.” You wanted it to sound like a joke, but it hadn’t. How could it, when you were telling the truth.
“Should I apologize, Maddie?” He manspreads on your couch, and you let your gaze fall on his thighs for a brief second— just not brief enough for him not to notice.
“No, it’s— it’s fine. I’m not fifteen anymore.”
“I can see that,” he whispers, and you can feel yourself slipping into his little trap, slowly.
You were so fucked. Ultimately, stupidly fucked, and not even in the way you wanted to. After all these years of swearing to yourself that Quinn wasn’t meant for you, and that you wouldn’t see him again with lovey eyes anymore, you couldn’t believe the reactions your body was having to just his words and stares. This isn’t normal.
You needed to do something because— you will not fuck this up again. Quinn’s friendship’s too precious for you to ruin it with horny thoughts.
So what if Quinn looked like he could fuck you six ways to Sunday? He was your friend. It hadn’t even been a month since he got back in your life.
“Yeah, but I’m over it now,” you brushed it off, making a pft sound with your mouth. “Grew up and all of that.”
He takes a while to answer, but when he does, you can feel he wants to say something else.
“Got it.”
After that, the tension between the two of you is almost ten times bigger, and you have to stop your brain from blaming yourself. Whatever happened between you and Quinn seconds ago could never happen again. He was your friend.
“Think I’m gonna go now,” he says, getting up. Bella runs to his body, licking his hands and asking for pets. “Hey, baby girl. I’m going home now.”
“You don’t have to,” you suggest, the thought of him leaving because of you making you sick to your stomach. “I have a spare bedroom. You drank, it’s not safe.”
“You’re right, but I’m not drunk and I’ll drive slowly, I promise,” he smiles, leaning down to give you a peck on your forehead. “Great to see you.”
“Drive safe, please,” You watched him leave with Bella by your side, heart squeezed tightly inside your chest. “Text me when you get home.”
“Will do it.” He answers, before putting on his jacket again, grabbing his suitcase and closing the door of your apartment.
And just like that, you had to spend the night trying to convince yourself that you did the right thing by pushing whatever that was away.

How would William react to this??? I'm sure he would worship our inexperienced reader from behind also, I can totally picture the wags posting the picture to hype her up.
https://www.instagram.com/p/DCM4ZrSygtR/
Ok, babe, I’m not sure if this is exactly what you were thinking of, but it’s just what came to my mind 😅🙈 I hope you enjoy this short, little blurb - William being possessive and protective has a special place in my heart, and I might’ve gone a little extra with the intensity (but we love it, right?)
Let me know what you think 💕
➼。゚
It had been one of those perfect summer afternoons. The sun was high, casting a golden hue over the city as you spent the day with the other wives and girlfriends of the team, enjoying drinks by the pool and soaking in the rare moment of relaxation. You hadn’t expected much attention, just a chill day away from the usual hustle, but that all changed when the photos started going up.
You’d chosen a simple yet stunning outfit—a dark brown bikini that clung perfectly to your body, showing off the curves William loved so much. It wasn’t overly revealing, but it had a sensual, understated vibe that made it hard for anyone to look away. The moment you stepped out, the girls couldn’t resist snapping photos of you posing, lounging by the pool, enjoying the sunshine.
You had noticed the looks, but you were more focused on the laughter, the jokes, and the chatter. But it didn’t take long before the notifications started flooding your phone.
“Queen 👑🔥🔥🔥”
“Serving looks as usual 😍”
“You are everything 💯💯💯”
“That bikini’s on fire 🔥🔥”
Men and women alike were commenting, giving you their praise, all while you tried to ignore the lingering feeling that you were being watched—by the girls and now, by the world.
The last notification that popped up made your stomach flip. “Looking gorgeous, as always. So much fire 🔥.” You stared at it, seeing that it was a message from a fan. Before you could even process it fully, a few more appeared, some flirty, some just admiring the way you looked, others bold enough to cross the line.
But it wasn’t the comments themselves that set your nerves alight—it was the thought of how William would react when he saw them. You couldn’t ignore the possessiveness that always came from him. The way his eyes burned when anyone dared to look at you, even just a little too long. And today, it felt like every guy—and some of the women—were looking.
Later that evening, you returned to your shared place, the warm evening air still carrying the echoes of laughter and conversation. You slipped inside, trying to be nonchalant, but as soon as you entered, you were greeted by William’s piercing gaze.
He didn’t say anything right away, but you could feel his eyes on you like a brand. His jaw was tense, his posture rigid, and you had a feeling he’d already seen the pictures - and more importantly; the comments. The air around you was heavy with unspoken words.
“I saw what went up on Instagram today,” he said, his voice low but filled with a possessive edge. He leaned against the doorframe, his eyes never leaving you.
You shifted uncomfortably, playing with the straps of your bag. “Yeah, the girls were snapping pics. I didn’t think much of it.”
William’s gaze darkened as he pushed off the frame, walking toward you. “You didn’t think much of it?” His voice was sharp now, but there was a certain heat underneath it that made your heart race. “You’ve got every guy and girl in the city commenting on how gorgeous you look, and you didn’t think much of it?”
He was standing in front of you now, his presence overwhelming. You swallowed, meeting his gaze. “It’s just… pictures, Willy. It’s not a big deal.”
He let out a soft, almost disbelieving chuckle. “Not a big deal?” He took a step closer, his breath warm against your skin. “You really think they don’t all want you? You think they’re not imagining all the ways they could touch you?”
The possessiveness in his tone had a delicious, intoxicating effect on you. You’d always known William could be intense, but tonight, it was like something had shifted—something darker, more primal.
Before you could respond, he gently cupped your chin, tilting your face up to meet his gaze. His eyes were intense, filled with a fire that had you shivering.
“You’re mine,” he growled softly. “Don’t forget that." His hands slid down your arms, pulling you closer as he leaned in, his lips brushing the side of your neck. You could feel his breath against your skin, the heat building between you both. “And from now on, every time you post a picture like that, just remember—no one else gets to have you like I do.”
Your pulse quickened, and before you could form a reply, he kissed you. His lips were urgent, demanding, as if he was making a point, reminding you of who you belonged to.
When he finally pulled away, his eyes were blazing with intensity, but there was something deeper in them, too—affection. Worship, even.
“You don’t get to tease me like that without consequences,” he muttered, voice thick with desire. “I’ll make sure you remember who your boyfriend is.”
You weren’t sure whether it was the way he was looking at you or the way his hands were roaming, but something inside you snapped. You didn’t want to resist. You wanted to surrender to the way he made you feel—like you were the only one that mattered, the only one he’d ever see.
William smirked, reading your expression like an open book. “That’s what I thought.” His lips descended on yours again, this time slower, more deliberate, as though savoring the moment.
And you melted into him, knowing that tonight, you’d be reminded in the most unforgettable way who you belonged to.

I have been Processing My Feelings mostly through sleeping a lot (thanks, shark week), cleaning (so much stuff to be done, especially when you're on a budget so everything takes twice as much work), playing Pokemon Go (I SAW AN ARTICUNO, but it fled on me ): but that's okay, I know it only has like a 3% chance to get it, and if I saw one, maybe I'll see another sometime), and binging TV shows/YouTube videos. TV SHOWS THAT I HAVE HAD THOUGHTS ON: - FROM, season 3: I think it might have been a mistake to watch it week to week, because I've watched seven episodes now and it feels like hardly anything has happened this season, like, you only have ten episodes and the wait between seasons is so long! Get back to moving the plot forward! But a lot of people said the same thing about s2 and I found that one to move along great--but I binged the whole thing, so the pacing probably seemed better. I'm still invested, some emotional stuff has happened this season, but I want more answers/plot already!!!! - SHRINKING, season 2: Just as much of a comfort watch as the first season, still pulling a bunch of laughs out of me. The cast is incredible, the writing is funny (I'm a sucker for a Bill Lawrence show, though), and I have had genuine emotional reactions to some of the storylines this season, because I have come to care about the characters. It can be a light watch most of the time, one to put on when I want something to laugh at, but it can pack a punch in the way it needs to. - ENGLISH TEACHER: I think every episode got me to laugh at least once, most of them got me to laugh out loud multiple times. Some people are going to find it kind of preachy or tryhard, but I felt like it was trying to take an honest look at this one person's attempts to navigate the difficult societal elements at play (being gay in your 30s, no longer a kid, not a boomer, but not always seeing eye-to-eye with where the younger generation is, wanting to do the right thing versus not always knowing what that is, trying to be empathetic while being genuine, etc.), and if nothing else it got me with the sideswipe at Tumblr. That hurt, you guys, but also LOL. - 9-1-1, season 8: Still very much worth watching (especially every time Eddie is a hot mess and kind of a bitch, I've never loved him more), but I did not enjoy the Councilwoman Ortiz storyline (it felt more mean-spirited than I wanted) and I'm not looking forward to catching up on this week's episode (I've heard some of what happens), but overall, it's still a comfort place for batshit storylines. BEENADO WAS HILARIOUS, everything about Athena on the plane was fun (and less frustrating than her usual cop storylines, I love you, girl, but oh my god), and I even liked the Gerrard storyline by the end. Next to catch up on: Abbot Elementary, binge Squid Game s2 when it comes out, and finally watch The Devil Judge. (Watch, I'll have my schedule all planned out and then probably throw it out the window for Grotesquerie or something, SIGH.) Any other suggestions for comfort shows or just really bingeable recent shows or just tell me what you're watching, so that I can keep my brain off the doomscrolling track!

Between magic and science
Summary — During a refreshing night, Jayce asks his lover a question he has been asking himself for a long time, is humanity magic or science? Pairing — Jayce Talis x Mage!Fem!Oc named Elara Warning — None, I would say, except a couple being tender and cute. Notes — Omg! I just watched s2 Arcane and just wow, I'm still processing everything that happened. Besides, we were officially introduced to the mages of Runeterra, s3 can already come, as soon as possible!
The full moon shone brightly over Piltover, casting a silvery glow over the city. The streets were quiet, and a refreshing breeze blew gently, bringing with it the scent of night flowers. On the balcony of one of the tallest and most imposing towers, Jayce Talis gazed at the horizon, his gaze lost in deep thought.
Elara approached him, her presence like a sparkling star in the night. With her pale skin and pale blonde hair that shone under the moonlight, she truly was a mesmerizing sight. Her vivid blue eyes reflected the silvery light, almost as if they were capturing the essence of the moon itself. Jayce turned to her, and a soft smile lit up his face. He could do nothing but admire his partner's beauty.
"Were you lost in thought again?" Elara asked, her melodious voice floating in the air, reaching Jayce's strong figure.
Jayce sighs before answering, her voice soft but full of curiosity, “There is something I have been wondering for a long time. Humanity… are we magic or science?”
Elara looked at him, surprised by the depth of his question. She knew Jayce had always sought to understand the world around him, balancing science and magic in his inventions. She took a deep breath, trying to find the right words.
“Jayce,” she began, her voice as soft as the night breeze, “my lineage has always believed that magic is an intrinsic part of who we are. But over the centuries, we have also learned to value science and the knowledge it brings. Perhaps the answer is not so simple…”
She paused, looking out at the moonlit horizon. “Magic is the essence of our existence, something that flows through us and the world around us. But science… science allows us to understand and shape that essence. Perhaps humanity is the perfect blend of both—magic gives us life, and science allows us to live fully.”
Jayce smiled, pulling Elara closer. “You always know how to find the right words,” he said, kissing her forehead lovingly. “Maybe that’s it. Maybe we’re a combination of magic and science, and that’s what makes us unique.”
They were silent for a moment, enjoying the peace and quiet of the moment. Wrapped in Jayce’s arms, Elara laid her head down, simply enjoying each other’s company. The moon continued to shine, a silent witness to the love and reflections shared that night.
Final Notes — I made this short imagine just to practice my writing, since it's been a while since I wrote anything😅.

The Thing About Heros
Warning: War arc spoilers (kinda?) and mentions of death.
Only twenty years after the war was won, the Japanese government established a memorial educational center near the battle site. Inside its towering glass walls, the center housed an impressive collection of artifacts: original hero costumes, personal belongings salvaged from the wreckage, even the scorched remains of weapons. Occasionally, retired heroes would hold lectures, sharing stories of courage and sacrifice with eager students and aspiring heroes alike.
I had never mustered the courage to set foot inside, not even during the grand opening ceremony when I stood outside with my classmates. They understood my absence. They knew why I stayed on the outskirts, watching from afar. I had never been one to force myself to relive old wounds.
"What was he like?"
The question pulls me from my thoughts. I glance down from the imposing statue, locking eyes with the blonde-haired kid staring up at me.
"Who?" I ask, nodding toward the statue. "Dynamight?"
"Are you stupid?" the boy retorts, his bluntness catching me off guard.
"Depends on who you ask," I reply, my eyes drifting back to the monument—a larger-than-life depiction of Katsuki Bakugo, frozen in mid-action, explosions captured in polished stone.
My eyes drift over the familiar text below.
In Honor of Pro Hero Dynamight:
"A hero’s duty isn’t just to fight villains—it’s to protect, even when the world feels lost."
"Did you know him or not?" the boy presses, his tone sharp with impatience.
"Why do you assume I knew him?" I ask, trying to keep my voice steady.
The boy huffs and crosses his arms, glancing up at me like I’ve missed the most obvious clue. "You're old. He’s old. You’re in a hero costume. He’s a dead hero." He lists each reason with the casualness of talking about the weather.
"I knew him," I say, my voice catching on the edge of unintentional roughness, weighted with a grief that time hasn’t dulled.
The boy's eyes widen, but he doesn’t flinch at the crack in my voice. Instead, he studies me, his young face creasing in thought. There’s a silence that hangs between us, heavy and unspoken, as we both stare up at the statue. The hero who once stood at the center of every battlefield, now immortalized in stone, larger than life yet somehow reduced to a figure of legend.
"What was he like?" the boy asks again, this time softer, as if sensing the weight of his question.
I let out a slow breath, watching it mist in the cold air. What was he like? The question spirals through my mind, touching memories I’ve tucked away: the searing heat of his hands on my body, the cocky grin, the way his eyes would soften just a fraction when no one was watching.
"He was…complicated," I begin, searching for the right words, but they all feel too small. "He was strong... stronger than anyone else, louder than everyone too." I smile at the thought. "Always charging forward, even when everyone else wanted to pull back. Bakugo was..."
Memories crash over me like a tidal wave. The late-night conversations, his loving insults, the fleeting moments where his guard would drop, those moments where he let me in. Katsuki was a storm that never settled, a star that burned too bright and too fast.
"He cared more than he let on," I say finally, feeling a tightness in my throat. "If you ask any of our classmates, they'd tell you he was the biggest... jerk." I stumble over my words in an attempt to keep my language age appropriate.
"He was mean, but some people don't how to show love the same way."
The boy frowns, processing every word. "Sounds like a jerk," he mutters, but there’s a hint of admiration in his voice.
I chuckle, unable to deny it. "He was. But he was also a hero. The kind you don’t forget."
We stand there, side by side, staring at the statue that casts a long shadow over us. The sun is starting to dip below the horizon, casting the monument in a golden glow, and for a moment, it feels like Katsuki is right there with us—imposing, fearless, and forever unyielding.
"Do you miss him?" the boy asks the question I’ve been dodging since the day I watched him fall from the sky.
I hesitate, my chest tightening as I fight back the flood of emotions. "Every day," I admit, the words barely a whisper. The boy meets my gaze, and there’s a flicker of something in his eyes—understanding, maybe.
Katsuki’s legacy isn’t just this statue or the stories etched into the walls of the center. It’s the way he pushed our class to be better, to never back down, to keep fighting even when it hurt. His fire still burns in every heart he touched, even now.
A high-pitched voice calls out from the hilltop, breaking the moment. The boy glances back, spotting an older sibling or a parent waving impatiently.
"He sounds like a hero I’d wanna be like," he blurts out before turning, his words tumbling out fast as if afraid to lose them.
I can’t help but smile, a genuine one that reaches deep. "He’d like that," I call out, my voice steadier than before. "And who knows? Maybe you’ll be even better."
The boy gives one last look at the statue, his eyes wide with determination, before dashing off, his blonde hair catching the sun’s fading light. I watch him go, and something in the way he moves—a flash of defiance, a spark of something unbreakable—reminds me so much of Katsuki that it makes my heart ache.
In reality, I’ll never truly know the depths of Katsuki’s feelings for me or the weight of what we shared. But his legacy lives on—through me, through this boy, and through every person who ever felt the heat of his fire. Because even in death, Katsuki Bakugo’s impact is unshakable, woven into every hero who dares to dream of being something more.
Because that’s the thing about heroes. They never really die.

How they would react if… They realize they are in love with you
Including -> Neteyam, Lo'ak, Kiri, Neytiri, Jake, Tsireya and Tonowari
If Neteyam realizes he is in love with you, he would feel nervous and unsure of how to express his feelings, but he would also feel a sense of happiness and excitement. He may attempt to spend more time with you and express his affection through kind or romantic gestures. Neteyam would be deeply committed to building a solid and loving relationship with you and would do everything to make you loved and valued.
Neteyam stood in the center of the village, his heart racing as he tried to make sense of the strange feelings swirling within him. He had always cared for you deeply, but now he realized that his feelings had grown into something more.
As he watched you move about the village, a sense of longing and adoration washed over him. He wanted nothing more than to be by your side, to protect and care for you.
With a deep breath, Neteyam made his way over to you and gently took your hand in his. "There's something I need to tell you," he said, his voice shaking with emotion.
You looked up at him, a mix of curiosity and concern in your eyes. "What is it?" you asked softly.
"I think I'm in love with you," Neteyam blurted out, his heart hammering in his chest.
For a moment, you were silent, and Neteyam's heart sank. But then a smile spread across your face, and you squeezed his hand.
"I think I'm in love with you too," you said softly.
If Lo’ak realizes he is in love with you, he would feel both excited and nervous. He may struggle to express his feelings, but would try to find a way to let you know how he feels. This might involve spending more time with you, showing his love through kind or romantic gestures, or simply telling you that he loves you. As he values honesty, Lo’ak would want to be open and sincere in his feelings for you.
Lo'ak sat on the edge of the cliff, staring out at the sunset as he tried to process his feelings. He had always thought of you as a good friend, someone he enjoyed spending time with and trusted deeply. But lately, he had found himself thinking about you in a different way. He found himself getting lost in your smile, feeling his heart race whenever you were near. And when you touched him, it was like a jolt of electricity running through his body.
He knew now that he was in love with you. It was a realization that both thrilled and terrified him. He wasn't sure how you would feel about him, or how this would change things between you. But he knew that he couldn't keep these feelings to himself any longer.
Taking a deep breath, he stood and made his way to where you were working in the garden. "Hey," he said softly, approaching you from behind and placing a hand on your shoulder.
You turned to him, a smile on your face. "Hey, what's up?" you asked.
Lo'ak looked into your eyes, his heart racing. "I have something I need to tell you," he said, his voice shaking slightly. "I'm in love with you."
You looked at him in surprise, your eyes widening. "Lo'ak," you said softly, "I had no idea. I thought we were just friends."
"We are," he said, "but I want to be more. I want to be with you, if you'll have me."
You looked at him for a long moment, your eyes searching his. And then you smiled, a warm and loving smile. "I'm in love with you too," you said softly.
Lo'ak's heart skipped a beat as he pulled you into his arms, holding you close. As you kissed, the sun set behind you, casting a warm glow over the two of you as you began your new journey together.
If Kiri realizes she is in love with you, she would feel a little overwhelmed by her feelings and need some time to process them. She would likely approach you with kindness and gentleness, wanting to express her feelings in a careful and thoughtful manner. She might choose to speak with you privately, expressing her love and explaining why she feels so strongly about you. Kiri would be sincere and genuine in expressing her emotions, and would hope that you would reciprocate her feelings.
Kiri couldn't believe what she was feeling. As she watched you laugh and joke with your friends, she realized that she was in love with you. She felt her heart flutter and her stomach do somersaults, and she knew that she couldn't keep these feelings hidden any longer.
Taking a deep breath, Kiri approached you, her eyes shining with emotion. "I have something to tell you," she said softly.
You turned to her, sensing the seriousness in her tone. "What is it?" you asked, your brow furrowed in concern.
"I love you," Kiri said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I know it's crazy, and we've only known each other for a short time, but I just can't help how I feel. I know I'm not the best with words, but I want you to know that I care about you deeply and I want to be with you."
You were taken aback by Kiri's confession, but as you looked into her eyes, you knew that you felt the same way. You reached out and took her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"I love you too, Kiri," you said, your voice filled with emotion. "I've felt it for a while now, but I was too scared to say it. But now that you've said it first, I can't hold back any longer. I want to be with you too."
Kiri's face lit up with joy and she threw her arms around you, hugging you tightly. "I'm so glad," she whispered, her voice choked with tears.
If Neytiri realizes she is in love with you, she may initially be hesitant due to her tendency to take relationships seriously. She would be very open about expressing her feelings to you once she is certain of them. She might approach you with a gentle and sincere demeanor, sharing her love and asking if you feel the same way. Neytiri would be committed and loyal in a relationship, and do everything in her power to make you happy and strengthen the bond between you.
As Neytiri sat alone on the banks of the sacred Hallelujah Mountains, she couldn't shake the feelings that had been swirling within her. She had always thought of you as a dear friend, but lately she had been noticing little things - the way your smile made her heart flutter, the way your laugh made her feel warm inside.
She tried to push the thoughts away, telling herself that she was being silly, but the more she tried to ignore her feelings, the more they seemed to grow. And finally, as the sun began to set, Neytiri couldn't deny it any longer. She was in love with you.
Tentatively, she approached you and took your hand in hers. "I have something I need to tell you," she said softly. "I realize that this might be unexpected, but I can't keep it inside any longer. I love you."
As she gazed into your eyes, Neytiri's heart pounded in her chest. She wasn't sure how you would react, but she knew that she had to take the risk and be honest with her feelings. And as she waited for your response, she couldn't help but hope that you felt the same way.
If Jake realizes he is in love with you, he may initially feel hesitant and unsure of how to express his feelings. He would try to be as open and honest with you as possible. He might take some time to consider his emotions and the best way to express them, and then approach you with sincerity. He may choose to tell you directly how he feels or show his love through his actions, such as by being more attentive and caring toward you.
As Jake sat near his hut, he found himself lost in thought. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was falling in love with you, and it filled him with a mix of emotions. Part of him was excited at the prospect of a deep and meaningful connection, but another part of him was hesitant and unsure. He had never felt this way before, and he didn't know how to navigate it.
After some contemplation, Jake decided to take a walk in the forest. He often found clarity and perspective in nature, and he hoped that the peace and serenity of Pandora's wilderness would help him make sense of his feelings. As he walked through the trees, he couldn't help but think of you. He remembered the way your smile lit up your face, and the way your laughter filled his heart with joy. He knew that he wanted to be with you, to support you, and care for you.
Finally, Jake made a decision. He knew that he couldn't keep his feelings hidden any longer. He needed to be honest with you, no matter how difficult it may be. He returned to the camp and found you sitting near your own hut, lost in thought. Jake approached you and sat down beside you, taking your hand in his.
"I know I haven't always been the best at expressing my feelings," he began, his voice soft and sincere. "But I need you to know that I am in love with you. I care about you deeply and I want to be with you. I'll do whatever it takes to make you happy." As he spoke, he could see the surprise and happiness in your eyes. And as you leaned in to kiss him, he knew that he had made the right choice.
If Tsireya realizes she is in love with you, she would be open and honest with her feelings and would want to express them to you in a sincere way. She would want to share her feelings and build a deeper connection between the two of you. She might express her love through words, actions, or physical affection, depending on what felt most natural and authentic for her.
Tsireya sat on the sand, looking out at the ocean as the sun began to set. She had been feeling a mix of emotions lately, and she wasn't quite sure what to make of them. She had always cared deeply for you, but lately she had started to feel something more. Something deeper and more intense.
As she sat there, lost in thought, she heard a soft footstep behind her. She turned to see you standing there, looking at you with a concerned expression.
"Hey," you said, "is everything okay? You looked a little lost in thought."
Tsireya took a deep breath, trying to gather her thoughts. "I don't really know," she said. "I've been feeling really confused lately. I care about you so much, and I want to be there for you. But lately, I've been feeling something more. Something that I can't quite put into words."
You smiled gently and took a step closer. "It's okay," you said. "You don't have to put it into words. I can see it in your eyes. You love me, Tsireya. And I love you too."
Tsireya's eyes filled with tears as she realized that you were right. She did love you. And at that moment, everything felt clear and certain. She threw her arms around you, hugging them tightly. "I love you so much," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion.
If Tonowari realizes he is in love with you, he would feel grateful at first. He would definitely express his love for you through words and gestures, showing you how much you mean to him. Ha may also be more attentive and caring towards you, wanting to make sure you feel loved and supported.
Tonowari had been spending a lot of time with you lately, and as he watched you laugh and smile, he realized that he had fallen head over heels in love with you. His heart swelled with emotion and he knew that he had to tell you how he felt.
He approached you tentatively, his heart racing. "I have something to tell you," he said, his voice shaking with nerves. "I know this might be sudden, but I...I love you. I love you more than anything in this world, and I can't imagine my life without you."
You looked up at him, your eyes shining with love. "I love you too," you said, your voice full of emotion. "I've known it for a while, but I didn't know if you felt the same way."
Tonowari grinned and wrapped you in a hug, his heart overflowing with joy. "I do," he said. "I love you more than anything. You're the most important person in my life, and I promise to always be there for you and to love you with all my heart." You hugged him back, feeling your own heart overflowing with love.

My brain is itching for me to write a Glassheart Teen Beach Movie AU
These are my ideas so far:
-Chloe is obviously Brady and Red would be Mack
-Takes place in the “real world” so not Descendants canon. Red and Chloe are best friends who met in middle school while at the beach.
-Chloe is a fun loving surfer who hasn’t experienced enough of the “real world” to really mature. She’s still very naive and believes in the pure good of everybody.
-Red lives under her mother’s thumb and feels like she has no room for her own choices in her life. She’s very reserved and has never opened up to Chloe about this. It’ll probably come up as a plot point that Chloe may have been too busy living in her own jaded world to notice how messy Red’s was.
-Red secretly wants to be a sculptor and whenever her and Chloe go to the beach, she’ll watch Chloe surf as she makes elaborate sand models. Of course, she always shrugs it off as just a little hobby and tells Chloe that she’d rather take over her mother’s growing chain of flower shops.
-One day, Chloe convinces Red to go to the beach despite a large storm brewing. Red advises against it, but Chloe has just been handed down her father’s surfboard that he used to win multiple national titles, and she’s itching to use it. (The board was made by a family friend named Faye). Red watches anxiously from the shore as the rain gets worse and Chloe gets knocked off her board. Red sees Chloe struggling to surface amongst the waves and dives in to save her.
-They resurface but the weather is totally different. This is when they find out they’re in Chloe’s favorite movie musical: Wet Side Story
-In this universe, Chloe’s dad was cast as the male lead and that’s how he met her mother who was getting her breakout role in the film. They constantly told their love story of how they fell in love when they had their kiss at the end of the movie.
-When Chloe realizes they’re in the movie, she tells Red that they need to make sure that Charming and Ella’s characters fall in love. They just need to do a play by play of the movie. Of course this is complicated when Red accidentally becomes the object of Charming’s eye.
-The movie sort of continues from there with similar beats but with slightly different character arcs. Since Chloe is a girl, the guys don’t want to listen to her advice. She has a hard time understanding why they wouldn’t take her opinion just because she’s a girl. Sure, she had experienced similar stuff before, but never to that degree. It’s an eye opening experience for her.
-Chloe also has a really hard time taking in the characters’ flaws since she can only see them as her parents. For example, when Charming’s character won’t stop pursuing Red despite her stating she’s not interested, Chloe defends him since he’s just trying to shoot his shot.
-Red’s main arc is about empowering the women in the biker gang (also imagine Red in the biker fits, I would die) by showing them that they can do anything they set their minds to. In the process she’s convinced that she can forge her own path at the same time.
-I think the random supervillain plot to get the gangs together has always been kinda stupid, so I’ll probably take that out and have them actually come together through friendship and bleh bleh bleh.
-Once Chloe and Red fix the movie, they end up going home and they have a fun little talk on the beach which mostly resolves their character arcs and stuff.
But that’s just a little tidbit. Like I said, I’d have to rewatch Teen Beach to really put it all together, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.

A few (possibly?) controversial takes that I have regarding boku dake ga inai machi (mainly rhe manga), starting from lukewarm to more hot takes:
1. This story is way deeper than people give it credit for, and while there are flaws in the writing, I think there's tons of themes that are sadly not talked at all by fans, such as childhood trauma, depression, existentialism and religion.
2. The story should be labeled thriller or suspense instead of mystery. One of the main complaints I hear from people who watched the anime is that it doesn't try to be a mystery at all.
3. Kayo is not a shallow character. She is a traumatized child. Also enough with the "she is just a plot device and does nothing, only to leave the cast". She is an abused 12 year old, she should not be getting involved in solving a serial killing case.
4. Kayo not ending up with satoru is great. I will never forgive the anime for trying to push a romance narrative. Not only is it a great subversion of the "hero gets the girl trope", but it's also incredibly creepy. It doesn't matter that satoru is biologically a child. There's several scenes that point out that he still has the experiences and viewpoint of an adult.
5. If this series had a different audience, it'd be appreciated way more. Sorry, but most if not all mainstream anime have such an "in your face" storytelling, that it doesn't promote thoughtfulness. All people I've seen criticize the anime always have the exact same takes, like "the story is very childish, the killer is predictable, the implied romance is not endgame". While even mainstream anime I personally consider shallow are capable of complicated theming too, the fast pace, overacting and loud sense of humor doesn't leave room for the audience to sit down and process the undertones of the plot. Erased (the anime) has a different energy. The characters don't have exaggerated expressions and despite it being a drama and thriller series, the atmosphere is visibly calmer and cozy. It's not about a grand adventure. Most of the scenes are about every day life. If it was a western cartoon it would probably have better perception because 1) plenty cartoon fans love overanalyzing and 2) unlike adult shows, they are more forgiving of the more "kiddy" aspects of the story (power of friendship and all).
6. After reading some of Kei Sanbe's other and more recent works, I feel more confident to say this:
Yashiro is an underrated villain and is a great antithesis to satoru. Also I genuinely don't think he is a pedo, despite it being a fairly popular consensus. I interpret their relationship as a toxic found family one. It's even stated that satoru views him as a father figure. While yashiro's crimes ARE messed up, there hasn't been any implication that the motive was pedophilia.
Both are pushed to depression and emotional detachment through childhood trauma (satoru with survivor's guilt and feeling responsible for the deaths of kayo and hiromi, with yuuki being accused)(yashiro and the dangerous household he grew up in). Both cannot connect with other people, a common trauma trait. Both tried to find thrill or enthusiasm for life to cope with depression and/or emotional constipation, but they used different means: satoru by helping others, reconnecting with his mother and forming friendships, yashiro through risk taking, scheming and killing. I wish their dynamic was explored a bit more, I think there's potential there. Satoru seems like yashiro's foil to me.
And this is not the first time Kei has written about an unhealthy, complicated (PLATONIC) relationship of villain parent-son.
Yashiro is the only one who believes satoru's revival, while satoru is the first person to see through him and survive. I'll step on english teacher grounds of overanalyzing here, but I see the whole spice thing as a metaphor for the spider, just not sure what metaphor exactly. Satoru and spice survived hell, which may give hope to yashiro he has a chance too. Or maybe spice and satoru ARE the spider. Or maybe spice and the children are hell dwellers, while satoru is the spider who saved them. Or- okay I will stop.
I'm open to discusssion or different opinions, in fact, I encourage it, just please be respectful about it. What I love about fiction is the different interpretations people can form

i wanted to give just a few more of my heartstopper opinions lol
1.) the teachers are great characters and not at all pointless like some people try to make them out to be. heartstopper is targeted to an adult audience just as much as teens and it is soo so important to see adults having moments of discovery the same way the kids did bc its never too late to have good experiences in relationships and even if u missed out on that in high school or college, theres no deadline. i think seeing that message is very powerful.
alice was correct in switching aled for issac bc as much as i miss aled and i think having demi representation would be awesome, issac embodies aled in a good way, provides aroace rep and leaves open an opportunity for a radio silence adaptation!
charlie would definitely propose first. alice has said that n & c both plan on it and buy rings but they dont know who would actually do it. i dont think nick would propose first bc as seen in the past nick always waits untill he is entirely sure charlie is ready for something, such as the kiss, or saying "i love you". but i do agree that they would both plan on proposing to each other 🫶.
last thought is that although it is really cool that so far all the actors physically looked so much like the characters, that is not the most important part of the casting process. i know some people are upset the actor for micheal doesnt nessecarily match the comic description, but i feel like in the clip we got he embodies the character so well that it doesnt even matter.
thanks so much for reading i love sharing my opinion and seeing other peoples thoughts 🩷
Hii I'm so so sorry I didn't even see this until I checked my ask box!!
1. I completely agree, the teachers are an incredible addition to the story. And I think it's very comforting for young adults/adults when watching knowing they don't have to be teenagers to experience wholesome gay romance. It's a great message to send :)
2. I think it's good they switched aled for Isaac in the tv adaption. Like do NOT get me wrong i ADORE aled. But his story goes far beyond heartstopper and it gave great room for aroace representation since sadly there isn't much representation for it. Also I would love a radio silence tv adaption AHHH.
3. I saw this post a little while back from someone on tumblr saying that they think nick and Charlie would try propose on the same day but one of them would go first and the other would be like "I WAS JUST ABOUT TO PROPOSE TO YOU?!" and I thought it was so cute. But I like this too and it would make more sense for Charlie to propose first. GOD I hope we someday hear about who proposes to who because that would be so cute! Or have a mini comic called "the proposal" or something
4. OHH I COULD RAMBLE ON FOR HOURS ON END ABOUT THIS! I watched the new clip and I instantly thought "hell yeah, THATS Michael holden". He embodies him and hit his mannerisms on the nail. I hope to see him quite a bit this season.
Thankyou for the ask, sorry I rambled on and on I just love these unpopular opinions!! :)

Hero Vision Vol.15 (2004/Summer) ft. Kamen Rider Blade Cast Interviews Ryoji Morimoto x Terunosuke Takezai Segment (translations below)
Publication: August 20, 2004 (between episodes 29-30) Ryoji Morimoto (Hajime Aikawa) x Terunosuke Takezai (Kotaro Shirai)
"Currently, It appears that the two of you are not getting along within the drama."
Takezai: Hajime is reluctant to reach out, while Kotaro is. Kotaro wants to protect Amane-chan and Haruka-san, but can't even protect himself, and Hajime is the one to always protect us, which frustrates Kotaro……So now, he's taking it out on Hajime?
Morimoto: When he sees Kotaro like that, I feel that Hajime finds it very interesting.
Takezai: There's a part of Hajime that Kotaro admires, but he won't allow himself to feel that way. It's a complicated feeling.
Morimoto: Hajime is uncertain too. Being around Amane-chan makes his heart feel at ease and warm inside, but he still doesn't understand what it means "to be loved," and he doesn't even understand why he wants to protect her. As his human side develops, so too will the number of his problems, and I think Hajime is going to have a much harder time from now on.
"So, apart from your roles, what do you like about each other?"
Morimoto: He has good intuition, can immediately grasp the situation, and he's also very tolerant and considerate.
Takezai: I don't have anything to say about his performance, other than that I've learned quite alot from him. Usually, you act pretty silly, don't you? And when everyone's together, the tension really rises. But, when it comes to acting, he changes completely. I think, "Is this really the same guy?" The range of emotions, and the way in which he switches between them is amazing. I'm usually very reserved.
"Kotaro's becoming more and more quiet…or rather, it's more like he's becoming serious."
Takezai: There's alot of emotional ups and downs. Every time we get a new script, it's something new. I'm like, "Ah, so this time it's this emotion." I used to play Kotaro, but the range has become so narrow, that now, I'm pretty much playing the role of Terunosuke Takezai.
"Would you ever consider switching roles?"
Morimoto: I don't get to smile much, do I? Kotaro is a really cute guy, and he has a charming smile, I'd like to be able to laugh too.
Takezai: I'd like to try being Chalice. I rarely get to show my emotions. If you think about it, we're the complete opposite in terms of personality.
Morimoto: Yeah. I think Hajime is jealous of Kotaro because they're complete opposites. Hajime wants to smile, but his smile continues to be rather awkward. I want to hurry up and become human…..
Takezai: Then you'd be a monstrous human (laughs).
"What's the most interesting part about Chalice?"
Morimoto: Because I don't have many lines, the lack of dialogue makes it much more difficult to communicate through my eyes and facial expressions. That's why I'm looking forward to seeing how I'll show the process of becoming human.
"Come to think of it, have you been working out recently?"
Morimoto: When I watched 555's movie, there's a shirtless transformation scene, so I was worried that something like that would be in our movie, so I just thought......I don't want to look like a matchstick if I have to take my clothes off (laughs). I do think Hajime is strong, even in his human body.
"What about Takezai's role in the film?"
Takezai: The movie takes place 4 years after the TV show, and I've become a stuck up guy after selling my books and becoming rich……
Morimoto: Kotaro seems to be much more active in the movie.
"Do you ever have time to go out drinking together or just hang out?"
Takezai: Now that you mention it, we've never gone out drinking together once, have we?!
Morimoto: We all go out to eat together, don't we?
"Do you share any common interests, like soccer or motorcycles?"
Morimoto: We do. We both like comedy.
Takezai: I like to laugh. Although, I'm better at being laughed at than at making people laugh.
Morimoto: I'm more of Tsubaki-kuns type.
Takezai: I think you're right
Morimoto: It's better if no one notices me doing it. So I try to do it secretly.
Takezai: There are times where the audio crew picks up on it, and then they'll suddenly start laughing. It makes me happy when they laugh.
Morimoto: I can't help but sometimes joke in front of everyone! Sometimes I do it too much and get pulled aside.
Takezai: Lately, no one comments on your jokes, so you've been forcing them.
Morimoto: I'm like, "…wha, hey!" (laughs).
Takezai: That's…it's alittle bit funny.
"You share a similar hobby, but do you have any differences?"
Takezai: Yeah, I love soccer, but I'm more of an indoor type of person. I recently had 3 weeks off, but during that time, I stayed inside for a whole week. It was tiring, but I do like to just space out at home.
Morimoto: I'm about ready to get out of here! (*he can't imagine being indoors for that long)
"Well then, finally, for you two complete opposites, please give a yell of support to each other."
Takezai: Yell? Support? Don't want to.
Morimoto: No (firmly).
Takezai: With Ryoji around, I can focus on acting with a sense of ease. I trust him.
Morimoto: I'm at ease too. I feel he gives off alot of confidence.
Takezai: The truth is that I have alot of work to do. And yet, everyone says it doesn't look that way…..
Morimoto: I can see you're nervous. Your tongue tends to do this, right? (he licks his lips)
Takezai: Yeah (laughs).
"Well, we're looking forward to it!"
Takezai: Please look forward to watching Chalice this August!
Morimoto: That's right! From now on, the relationships will continue to be very interesting!

TBH the Shourtney hard launch didn't spark any "this is an april fool's joke!!" bells in my head cause Courtney genuinely looked so beautiful in the pictures I like, actually teared up looking at them. Shayne looked very handsome as well! That chocolatey brown looks so good on him! But Court just looked SO beautiful it pulled at my heartstrings and I felt as though I had no choice but to believe it simply because of how radiant she looked. I love seeing pictures of femme presenting people and women on their wedding days!!!! It always makes me tear up!!!!!
But antways, it didn't even register to me that the Smosh Mouth episode that day would be about the Shourtney marriage until I saw Angela fade in cause at the time, I remember Shayne being cast as Booster Gold rumors were circling around the internet so I genuinely thought the episode would be announcing that he was Booster Gold and that he'd be away for a while. IDK if anyone else remembers those rumors but the talk on the internet at the time was that people wanted either Glenn Powell or Shayne to play him and there was a Marvel fan account that said Shayne was officially cast, but those rumors completely died out after the Shourtney hard launch lol.
I also saw someone clock that that episode of the podcast was filmed in the same day as the staring contest livestream which is so funny to me. Smosh history was made on that day...
When those photos dropped I completely forgot what day it was. Even if I did remember it was April fools day, I think I still would’ve believed it in a heartbeat. I swear I didn’t even take that into account until I seen people start saying it could be a prank, but I was still not giving up the idea of them being married. It also could be bc I literally woke up 3 minutes before I found out so it could’ve been the sleepiness that made me believe so quickly. I would love to explain my entire thought process/reaction to the big day but I don’t want this post to be too long so if you’re still curious, you can send me an ask bc it will probably be a lengthy text lol. But anyway, that day is probably the most important day in smosh history and I’m not even trying to be biased. I mean, people who didn’t even know who they are were so invested into if it was real or not… if that doesn’t say something, idk what does 🤷♀️. And yea, I remember the booster gold rumors. Did they ever come out with whoever was cast with that? I don’t watch marvel/superhero movies so I haven’t heard of it since the speculation. Also, it was filmed the same day as the staring contest? They must’ve been in such a silly mood that day to record both “pranks” lmao 😂

Hi! Can I please request a Becky Lynch/Seth Rollins/Reader where reader is best friends with Seth and Becky and has had a crush on both of them for awhile, but she doesn’t think she’s good enough for either of them and also thinks she has no chance because Seth and Becky are together. Seth and Becky have feelings for the reader too, but don’t know if she’d be into being with both of them and haven’t found a way to tell her how they feel. One day they’re hanging out at a cafe and reader accidentally lets her feelings slip which leads to them having a heart to heart and sharing some sweet kisses?
Thank you as always, I appreciate you and your writing so much 😊
392 Caffe || Seth Rollins x Reader x Becky Lynch
Summary: Hanging out at Seth's coffee shop after closing time with him and Becky ends in some confessions.
You sat in the cozy corner of Seth's coffee shop, surrounded by the familiar warmth and comfort of the place. Over the years, this spot had become a second home to you, just like Seth and Becky themselves. The three of you had shared countless conversations, laughter, and moments of support. It was these moments that had forged a deep bond between you, one that you cherished more than words could express.
As the evening sun cast a soft glow through the windows, you couldn't help but steal glances at Seth and Becky. They were chatting animatedly, their laughter mingling in the air. Despite the happiness they exuded, your heart ached with a bittersweet longing. You had harbored feelings for both of them for years, an intense crush that had grown stronger with time. But you also believed you were far from worthy of their love.
Seth's coffee shop had always been a sanctuary, a place where you could escape your worries. Today, however, your thoughts were consumed by your feelings for your friends. You watched them interact, their bond apparent in every shared smile and affectionate touch. They were together, and the idea of inserting yourself into their relationship seemed impossible.
Lost in your thoughts, you hardly noticed when Seth's voice pulled you back to reality. "Hey, you alright over there?"
You forced a smile, hoping to mask the turmoil inside. "Yeah, just lost in thought, I guess."
Becky's eyes, perceptive as ever, locked onto yours. "Something on your mind, love?"
You hesitated, anxiety gnawing at your insides. "It's... it's nothing important."
Seth leaned in a bit closer, concern etched across his features. "Come on, you can tell us. We're here for you."
With a deep breath, you gathered your courage, realizing that this moment might be the only chance you'd ever get. "I've been friends with you two for a long time, and I... I can't help but feel something more. But I know you're together, and I don't want to disrupt that."
Becky's brow furrowed, her gaze softening as she exchanged a glance with Seth. Their expressions held a mixture of surprise and realization, as if a puzzle piece had just fallen into place.
Seth reached out, his hand finding yours gently. "You really think you'd disrupt something? Y/N, we care about you more than you know."
Becky's fingers brushed against your cheek, her voice tender. "We care about you in a way that goes beyond friendship, too."
Your heart stuttered, your mind struggling to process their words. "Wait, what?"
Seth chuckled softly, his thumb tracing circles on your hand. "We've been trying to figure out how to tell you for a while now."
Becky nodded, her smile gentle. "We both have feelings for you, Y/N. We want you with us, not just as a friend."
The weight of their confessions washed over you, a flood of emotions threatening to overwhelm. Their feelings mirrored your own, and the realization was both exhilarating and terrifying.
With a newfound sense of hope, you leaned in, capturing Becky's lips in a tender, almost hesitant kiss. It was a shared moment of vulnerability and affection, a silent promise that things would change but only for the better.
As the kiss deepened, the coffee shop around you seemed to fade into the background. In this moment, it was just the three of you, bound by a connection that went beyond words. The heart-to-heart conversations that followed were filled with laughter, shared dreams, and plans for a future that held the promise of love.
And as the evening sun gave way to the soft glow of the coffee shop's lights, you found yourself wrapped in the arms of the two people who had always meant the world to you. With Seth and Becky by your side, your heart felt full, and the fear that had once held you back began to fade away.

Madam. Hi. I'm back.
I am so so curious to know your thoughts on the casting of the 'Marauders'-era characters in the films.
This thought process was triggered by your previous answer to an ask where you said you were not a fan of Alan Rickman as Snape. I personally think it would have impacted the storytelling quite profoundly if they had cast Harry's parents, and their friends, age-accurately.
A few reasons come to mind for me.
Re Lily and James. Not that the Potters' death wouldn't always have been tragic, but seeing 22-year-olds get killed would have definitely hit differently. And in Deathly Hallows p2, when the resurrection stone brings them back, they would have looked very close in age to Harry himself, and that would have hurt real bad to see, really putting things in perspective for the viewer. Basically I'm a slut for pain and I want tragedy and heartache and messy tears.
Re the teachers. This also applies to Remus, specifically, whom I afford a special place in all this. I know the teachers are supposed to be Adults in the eyes of children [the target audience for the first two-ish films], and characters like Lockhart, [who is btw canonically FOUR YEARS younger than James and Lily??] are supposed to serve that (very British) storytelling purpose of the Silly Adult, and later Evil Adult. Snape is also an Evil Adult, Mathilda-style, so I GET that children need to see them as Old People. BUT, children view anyone over the age of 20 as adults??? So like, 30-ish year old teachers look very mature to them and can serve this purpose just fine imho. Anyways, I digress. The reason I would want them to be younger, as they should have been according to the text, simply has to do with the audience relating to them. These are just different stories when these people are in their 20s and 30s when Harry is a kid. Also, the first generation of HP fans would now be their age, opening up a whole new avenue of feelings when watching the films. Watching the films as a kid and identifying with the children vs. watching it as in your 20s and 30s and identifying with Harry's dead parents, Snape, Lupin, etc., would be such a wonderful thing to feel!!!
Re. Sirius. The above points mentioned all obviously also apply to Sirius, but I still think he warrants a special mention. Being 33 and having spent the past 12 years in Azkaban and DYING aged 35??? It's just a different story than a middle-aged man imho. I hope I don't sound terribly ageist, because of course dying at 45 is premature, but it's still different, yknow?
A final, petty note. The chronology of it makes no sense. When we meet him, Gary Oldman's Sirius is not a boy who was sent to prison aged 21, where he has been for the past 12 years. There's a good 10 years missing there by the looks of him, so what's up? Same with Lily and James, it just cracks me up that these people look middle-aged. What do you mean they look middle-aged, they've done nothing but graduate from school and DIE????
These are my countless cents on the matter, and I am very curious to know your thoughts if you would be so kind as to share.
i don't love a couple of the performances [not just alan rickman's, but gary oldman's], but i've been forced into neutrality on the actual casting ever since the films came out by the twist of fate that one of my best friends has never read the books.
[and - in a sign of just how culturally dominant harry potter was in the 2000s - is the only person my age i've ever met who hasn't.]
and seeing her try to understand the films was a trip...
i think those of us who started with the books - or read the books quite soon after seeing the films - don't realise quite how hard the films are to follow if you have no understanding of the basic outline of the story. which is to say, i agree that something is lost in not casting the marauders generation age-accurately - the great tragedy of the priori incantatem or resurrection stone scenes in the book versions of goblet of fire and deathly hallows, for example, is that harry and james are basically indistinguishable because james died when he was only a few years older than harry - but, since the films needed to be accessible not only to people who'd never read the books, but to people who'd never seen another film in the series, the very obvious visual distinction between the two generations makes it easier to understand who's who. if - in the philosopher's stone film - harry had looked into the mirror of erised and seen an age-accurate james, many viewers would - i think - have assumed he was looking at his future self, meaning either that the running time would need to be increased so that it could be explained that he wasn't, or the audience would have to be left not understanding the emotional heft of what they'd just seen.
a longer-form adaptation - if they ever make the tv show, not that i'll watch it if they do - will have the space to do the casting age-accurately [and will also, i imagine, feel less beholden to shoehorning in as many british establishment luvvies as possible]. but the films get a pass on this one, i fear.

✨Intertidal Chapter Release—Ch. 18✨
Lifting my phone up high in the air, I sucked in another breath. Great. Tapping the green answer icon I didn't realize it was a video call before it was too late.
"What?" I groaned, trying not to growl because it was too early for these calls and I wasn't at my mental fittest in that moment.
"Mornin'," Kent chuckled, seemingly humored by my post-dawn anguish. "Yer lookin' bright eyed and bushy tailed."
I glared at him.
"What's got ya' out of sorts, love?" he asked in a more concerned tone. "Ya' sick or hurt?"
"No..." I hesitated. Furrowed my brow and closed my eyes as I pinched the bridge of my nose to ward off the creeping headache I felt coming. "Just...I don't know. My head's fuzzy."
"Drunk fuzzy? Hungover? Or like existential dread goin' into numb kinda fuzzy?" When I groaned at the last one I could hear him breathe a sympathetic chuckle. "Yeah, I have those mornin's too."
"Maybe if I have a mimosa..."
Kent clicked his tongue. "That, love, is what we call an unhealthy dependence bordering on alcoholic behavior."
"You sound like my therapist."
"Well kudos ta' her for havin' the stones to say that."
Only Kent could make me roll my eyes with the urge to clock him while looking as good as he did while doing it.
"What're ya' doin' today?"
"Besides withering away beneath my blankets waiting for death to come and fight me for my life?" Kent smirked, humored by my answer rather than being put off the way Enid or my parents would have been. Both him and Ty shared the same flavor of dark humor which was also my flavor as chance would have it. "Nothing. Why?"
"We should do somethin'."
Wading the glowing crystalline waters of the pool hidden within the tropical paradise that surrounded us, I watched Kent swim toward me after diving in from the opposite end. Form shifting hypnotically like an abstract painting cast in bronze, topaz blue, aquamarine, and shimmering yellow, I held my breathe as he approached. Smiled more as if I had been bewitched when he emerged looking like a damn Grecian god with his hair clinging to his broad built shoulders and eyes sparkling. It didn't help that "Moonlight Serenade" was playing to match the vintage vibe of the entire area encapsulating Trader Sam's, Tangaroa Terrace, and the "grown up's" pool.
"Yer doin' that thing again," Kent teased as he floated over to where I was lurking, my arms slung up on the lip of the pool deck. Tilting his head just a bit with a playful flicker in his eyes as he grabbed hold of the handrail of the sidesteps next to me, Kent closed the space separating us. Hung there looking like a siren pulled straight out of fiction. "You'll cook me 'live with that kind of starin'."
I couldn't respond. My brain had gone dead. Or on strike because it was tired of this bullshit. Either way, the bitch had peaced out on me and my thought process was left on buffering.
Eyes constantly drawn back to his eyes, his lips, his chest, it was irrational Wynn's turn to take control of the helm. And what do you know, she steered us all into the shallows. Ran us ashore marooning me in the destructive cycle of reconsidering my stance on relationships versus fuck buddies. And it was her fault that my brain was coming up with more pro's to locking down Kent than it was coming up with con's. This would have been an easy decision weeks ago. Wouldn't have been something I would have even considered at the start of the year. Granted, I had always wanted to take a ride or two on him. But date him? That was a sure sign I had suffered traumatic brain injury. Or at least so I thought. But now?
"Winnie...?" He said quietly, as if he were about to share a secret. From the look in his eyes, he may very well be doing that. Gaze flicking from my lips to my eyes as he got in a little closer, Kent nearly whispered, "What if..." he began--the tension mounting between us pure indescribable torture. "What if I were to tell ya' that you've been on my mind for the last year?"
