Percy’s love and admiration of Sally just makes me tear up every time I think about them. Percy literally went to the underworld and defied the gods to get his mother back. Sally making a point to ensure Percy knew who he was so that when it was time for him to join the world of the gods, he wouldn’t be swayed. The way Percy can acknowledge that his mom did her best despite everything and appreciates her. He finally meets his dad and all he wants to know is if he loved his mom. Their relationship is the backbone of the first book and Sally is who made Percy the way he is. I literally cant wait to see what they do with them next season.

House M.D. but it's when a character says the name of the episode

#house md #prince's talk tag #flashing #repitition #so as i was watching this show i noticed they'd say the episode title in the episode #so i wanted to see how many times they did it #the people on livejournal who made transcripts of the episodes are my saviors and without them this would of been so much harder to do #thank you all for your service and i hope wherever you all are you're having a great day #sometimes they would use a variation of the word like in the episode poison they would say 'poisoned' or 'poisoning'#i did not include those instances #there was an instance in 'merry little christmas' where they do play the song in the show #but since ella fitzgerald was not a character in the show i did not include it #where as in the episode 'joy to the world' the students are singing it in the concert so i did include that #i apologize for the tonal whiplash when you get to that part but it did make me laugh #one of the times kutner says 'locked in' is overshadowed by the POTW's voice over but i assure you he says it and thats why its in there #out of the main characters from the one who said the title the most to least are #House > Foreman > Wilson > Chase > Cuddy > Adams > Cameron and Taub > Kutner > Thirteen and Park #this took a bit to do lolol its probably been done already but i wanted my own #there is a chance im missing some on technicalities but idc. im fine with this #there are two more i wanna do but with a character saying another character's name but ill do that some other time #EDIT: When I was making this video I was unaware that the Pilot episode went by two names: 'Pilot' and 'Everybody Lies'#Basically everywhere I looked the first episode was only referred to by 'Pilot'#which I found weird bc i remember seeing somewhere that the last episode was paired with the first episode in terms of title #but i couldn't find hard proof so I decided to leave it out at the time #well i checked again last night and yea the pilot IS also called Everybody Lies so I updated the video #I also think it goes well with the fact that House does say 'Everybody Dies' in the finale so another reason to fix it #AND he says it without Wilson while he and Wilson say the title of the pilot sooooo yea hehehehehe

Things I make for myself when insomnia kicks in

Just a chart about what I wanna change up and keep consistent in my art - I mainly wanna draw Raph with a tail because he deserves one, it fits too well. Donnie gets a long tail too because I didn’t realize how dino-like he looks until I gave him one, and now it’s a must for me haha.

I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out, but Darius isn't wearing his Dino tooth necklace in Chaos Theory.

Is that an aesthetic decision, or is there an in-lore reason for that?

I think this design choice was on purpose.

So... in a scrapped version of the original script.... there was this big reveal after he calmed the Pachyrhino down that he no longer liked dinosaurs the same way at ALL. It was actually the first thing I drew on the show:

But he had some crazy line like 'We both know you'd kill me in a heartbeat' or something and it was so over the top it always made everyone laugh (which wasn't the intention). It was decided this version was too melodramatic/the energy was wrong, so they redid how he was written/his acting in the first episode a few times until they found a sweet spot.

It was never meant to be explained why his necklace was missing, just implied.

#I think it could have been interesting if he had a more visible arc about being hesitant to enjoy dinosaurs the way he used to #but there's already so much going on in the final version of the show #I think it was correct to walk it back to something more subtle with mostly just the allosaurus #in the original he was so angsty I'm not sure if he would have been as fun to watch #having Darius put on an 'I'm okay really' face while visibly missing his carnivorous dino tooth necklace was a stronger choice I think #jurassic world chaos theory #jwct #jurassic world #chaos theory #darius bowman #storyboards #my art

Something something about us being shown Eddie developing his cooking skills before buck - that were shown Eddie being able to cook a full meal (and bake) before were shown Buck doing the same thing. And something something about that foreshadowing Eddie having his full feelings realisation before buck.

Eddie’s cooking skills are on display in 5x11 outside looking in when he cooks dinner for buck Chris and Taylor - and he’s baked cupcakes for desert as well.

But we don’t actually get shown buck cooking a full meal until the 6x01 lasagne. He’s only got as far as breakfast foods when he makes Maddie an omelet in 2x04 stuck but we don’t get shown him actively cooking again until he makes the lasagne.

After that its hit and miss on the cooking and baking front for buck - burnt lasagne in a 7 and I’m assuming his baking isnt that great in 8x07 by the way Chim has one bite and then pushes the loaf away before he masters the ziti, garlic bread etc in 807 and then later the scones in 8x08.

#there’s something about the idea that Eddie has the space and some outside help and got results quickly #that once given some help from Linda he picked up cooking quickly and easily #and he’s good at it - playing on the idea that Eddie doesn’t need to look outside of Chris and Buck and that he’ll figure that out #but buck has been struggling with it - he’s more hit and miss - he starts to get somewhere - finds a recipe that works #the baking being bad but getting better symbolises his recovery from hs failed relationship - he’s getting better #the scone being good and connected to Eddie - and the first lasagne being good and connected to Eddie #is showing us that it’s Eddie that is good for buck - that when it’s connected to Eddie it’s successful #but that buck hasn’t grasped that yet #and that it’s connected to buck - we see Eddie cook only for Chris and for buck (and Taylor but she doesn’t count really)#bucks gonna get there when he figures out he already has the perfect recipes - he just keeps trying to improve on what he already has #and he needs to recognise that and then he will figure out he loves Eddie and what they already have #so yeah the coooking and baking is a metaphor for buck and Eddie’s respective journeys to feelings realisations #I love a good metaphor and especially good ones #buckle up for bucks bumpy road ahead #food and cooking skills as a metaphor for love #Maddie raised buck - that’s why she’s breakfast food #and the scone is actually the only thing of bucks we’ve seen Eddie eat - the last thing - so buck getting the scone right is telling #it’s suggesting bucks baking adventures are over - telling us Eddie is the last - Eddie is the right one #so I don’t think we’ll be seeing buck cooking again until he’s figured out that he’s in love with Eddie #or if we do it will go badly #until he realises he’s in love with Eddie #I love this show so much #911 abc #evan buckley #eddie diaz #buddie

Something something perhaps the reason Curly lacks a truly undamaged ID where his face is visible is to represent how much damage Jimmy had already affected on him throughout their relationship and the way Curly obscured part of who he is and what he stood to unintentionally cater to this toxic influence in his life.

#I think there is something to say that most people draw post crash curly and may not have every drawn him pre crash #and I think it says something that we only really look at the characters substantially in relation to Jimmy and not their own merits #unless we are discussing how J I M M Y mischarcterizes them cause in this #since we don’t assign a face and identify to Curly’s actions outside of Jimmy until the end their is the question of how much we are viewing #them as separate entities rather than intertwined actions cause while the flipping #of who we play at shows them and parallels and in separable in terms of the story going down #they couldn’t be drastically more different in thinking and you only really realize that at the birthday scene where Curly felt the need to #take responsibility for something while Jimmy just felt the need to take #this is also more so me thinking about all the reason people think Curly and Jimmy could be friends but they are missing the point of Jimmy #and his dynamic there is nothing severely weird or sinister about Curly or his intentions it’s that he’s well meaning to a fault #he’s an average dude having a mid life crisis and Jimmy is a guy that takes advantage of good intentions like the idea #that curly has to be like Jimmy in some way personality humor morally is the exact sort of projection Jimmy wants #to happen and does like it’s the sad and real case that sometimes people just have friends like Jimmy that they can’t cut off for one reason #or another like it’s not highly philosophical people are friends with objective assholes but it’s less about them #and more about the person feeling some obligation to stay like I feel like crafting him into #being more morally grey is to just make it easier to be angrier or think someone with more of a backbone #could of done something but it’s not even that he was spineless he was just too distracted and sometimes that feel like cowardice like even #Swansea waited it’s just the sad truth of how people avoid people like Jimmy or setting them off #sometimes it just does more harm than good I just am so bored with all the takes #acting like there was a perfect man on that ship and that any one outside of Anya knew the exact type of guy Jimmy #was from the get go like the point is other men wouldn’t in rape culture but women and their victims already know #mouthwashing #mouthwashing game #curly mouthwashing #jimmy mouthwashing #throwing rocks at Jimmy
