Gale practicing and mastering prestidigitation to allow Asterion to taste food again

Blood drinking aftercare where Asterion practically force feeds Gale food that’s high in iron.

Asterion tasting Gales blood for the first time since being cured of the orb. In my HC Gale went away for a week and returned the crown and then got a tattoo of the orb to remind himself to keep his hubris in check - all in secret. So it catches Asterion completely by surprise.

Post game, Gale spends like 2 years studying ways to ‘cure’ Asterions inability to be in the sun and ends up inventing like an augmented mage armour. He of course then teaches the spell to Asterion. But first is Asterion’s reaction to being in the sun again for the first time in 2 years. (I imagine he can’t feel the warmth though, that’s Gales next quest…)

I've stopped going to volleyball on Sundays as often because A) viking and I go to the gym after church instead, which is a lot better of a workout than volleyball, and B) it's just absurdly hot outside at 3 PM ... but I do feel like a bit of an evil traitor... there is a little bit of FOMO...

How the hell do you draw a hood

Went out and moved plant pots yet again. Yesterday I just wanted to pull them away from the trees. Today I put them in their temporary homes and cleaned them up a bit (a few got pretty beaten up between the construction and trying to move them); two might not recover and that's okay because I've been making myself make peace with plants dying. I made my peace as well with the brush cherries needing to go. We're leaning towards clumping bamboo and a Japanese maple, since if planted properly neither should cause any damage. My wildflower patch will have to be dug up and that's okay because I'll just make a new one next year; I did pull the lupins up and put them in pots though, because I really want them to survive.

It dawns on me that the journey to the west took 5,040 days exactly, right, and while the book goes from tribulation to tribulation, there were still only 81 of those. And they were missing one when they got there. And some of the tribulations Tripitaka went through happened before the journey even started.

So, even being generous and saying that most of the tribulations that occurred during the actual journey could be said to have taken a few days to handle each, that's still only about 10% of the journey. A tribulation was anything that happened that put Tripitaka in danger or presented any sort of obstacle to him. Anything even remotely exciting would have fallen into that ~10%, and nothing else could have happened, because otherwise they wouldn't have gotten west one moderate inconvenience and/or major trauma short of the prize. (I mean, unless the thing that happened managed to not involve Tripitaka at all in any way, but that's very hard to do when you are all attached at the hip.)

Holy cow they really were just walking. ALL THAT TIME. No wonder Zhu Bajie was stirring the pot at any given opportunity. It was literally the only thing to do.

so james’ tattoos are obvs the antlers along his v-line, matching with sirius’ flower v-line tats, his gryffindor quidditch jersey number on his bicep, and then constellations across his chest for sirius and reg. regulus has stars tattooed around his moles, on his collarbone, arms, and back, all in slightly different styles, since some have been done by different artists and some have been done by his friends. he also has a sun over his heart with long rays reaching out across his body.

Due to the nature of this "holiday" i didn't really think abt anything "festive" for it, however i will say i do, often, think about both undertale and multiverse crews/skeleton bros and how they'd come together to make meals and whatnot.

I've always wanted to draw a busy kitchen scene with the freshly surfaced ut crew, possibly specifically for christmas (or general wintery holiday), of everyone helping make dinner/set things up, with the right amount of chaos of course

As for mv crews, especially those situations of like, "for some reason all the skeleton brothers live together and have to deal w/ each other", I would honestly imagine, at first, dinners, or any meal prepared for everyone at once, would be an absolute madhouse. Especially if it's very soon after surfacing or after they've met even in still underground and simply visiting. None of the monsters from Fell AUs seem to have any idea of what to do, those inclined to help only really able to clean because their cooking/baking experience is so incredibly limited due to supply chain difficulties and lacking resources. The less helpfully inclined brothers more prone to purposefully causing disruptions, some more intentionally than others, yelling, things getting thrown, the non-Fell AUs "chefs" being a wide ranging variety of "half decent" to "has never made anything edible ever", and all stepping on each others toes trying to work together.

It'd be a disaster hands down but over time, as everyone adjusts and becomes more used to each other, more comfortable, and gains more cooking/baking skills, it becomes something of a (mostly) well oiled machine, with most knowing who to leave what to, those most inclined to cook or bake communicating who does what, when.

Honestly communal cooking and baking is something I love thinking about, and I think many of them (skele bros and those of regular crews) would find it easier to bond with each other over shared interest or enjoyment of cooking and/or baking!

This time it's ancient trio time~ ShB/Endwalker spoilers and lots of rambling under the cut

I'll start with mentioning that Eleos is Azem and Hawu'li is his shard. I think I've posted what he vaguely looks like in form of a picrew pic buuuut uh, this time you get a quick little scribble of his mask I drew instead.

Height and age - yeah no, I did not want to fuck with trying to choose anything for them since ancient world works weirdly. They are all of similar ages and fairly young, Hades has just aged a lot due to having to deal with his husbands lol. He's tallest of the three, with Eleos being just a tiny bit shorter than Hyth.

Jock - game keeps saying Emet is "the greatest mage" but honestly I could not mark him as nerd when he swings that huge drk sword so effortlessly in Ktisis. So to me he is also physically strong. Hyth is nerd on account of working basically a desk job and complaining how he doesn't usually fight, even if using a bow logically makes him somewhat buff too.

Affection - Hades is tsun so no pda. Hyth is used to this and knows not to tease him too much. Eleos does not care and teases both of them mercilessly with his affection, regardless of where they are or who is watching.

Confessions - Hyth and Hades were an item even before meeting Eleos, and their thing started from Hades managing to voice his feelings (Hyth had known about them already, but wanted to hear him say it). With Eleos, they kinda confessed together, with Hyth once again pushing Hades to admit his feelings out loud. By this point Eleos has been saying he loves them both for like, literal months but somehow also never initiated anything? Even Hyth was kinda confused if it was more plationical or not lol.

Kiss - Hades kisses both of them first: Hyth during a really sweet and romantic moment as teens, and Eleos to shut him up. Which surprisingly worked, as Eleos just kinda froze and was unable to process any thoughts for like half an hour. It has not worked ever since.

Propose - Hades is the most easily jealous one, so he really wanted something to seal the fact that they were all bound to eachother. All 3 have matching earring. Eleos also got a tiny magic circle drawn on his ringfinger - Emet's magic, made to contain both his and Hyth's essence to help calm Eleos down (he's strongly affected by feelings of others). It's usually invisible, but glows softly purple when touched.

Other stuff:

Hades and Eleos are both really stubborn so Hyth has to act as mediator between them

Hades first noticed Eleos from his soul (mix of orange and purple hues, like a really vibrant sunrise) which was so out of normal it got his attenttion in a big crowd (and Eleos did something really stupid right after so it really was unforgettable lol)

Eleos has a habit of just. Leaving in the middle of night if his wanderlust happens to hit. He's gotten really good at sneaking out and only leaving small "gone travelling, see you" note behind.

As a countermeasure, both Hyth and Hades sleep holding him really tight so he can't just dissappear to god knows where. Eleos doesn't seem to mind too much (but still manages to escape some nights)

All 3 spoil eachother so much but in completely different ways.

Emet overlooks so much of his husbands' mischief and no matter how busy, is always ready to give them his time if they want it

Hyth brings the other 2 interesting concepts from work as gifts

Eleos brings them whatever he find on his travels. He's especially good at picking things that pacify Hades' anger when he's done something stupid again.

ok I think what I will do with the nuzlocke idea is like. at least start the playthrough and script things out? and like maybe draw comics and stuff but only actually. upload them with the idea of continuing them if I can get 15 pages done in a reasonable amount of time.
