Everyone keeps saying this, but I still haven't seen anyone actually do this.

Of course I had unconscious brain movements, but can you really blame me for finding it hard to believe anyone genuinely find it interesting when no-one ever talks about it directly, as opposed to an abstract pro-human talking point?

In other words, I'm still waiting on that essay.

Are you one of those "anime isn't real art" elitists? I thought the art community has condemned that mindset ages ago because of all the art teachers forbidding anime in their class. (Sorry if that sounds mean; I will try to assume you used anime girls as an example for some other reason)

But yes, a shiny Reddit-popular digital painting is often a closer approximation of someone's vision than anything they can currently execute with their own physical drawing skills. AI might not be able to make anything in someone's head, but neither can they, so of course they're going to go with the closer approximation (or better yet, use both AI *and* their own physical drawing skills to get an even closer approximation)

I wanted to chime in on the "AI is the only way disabled people can be artists" idea because I'm an artist with a disability that effects my stamina and precision but I draw anyway.

I have always felt it was massively disrespectful to act like disabled people are helpless and AI is our only option if we want to partake in art. Not only does it demean the work of the countless disabled artists who DO draw and paint, but it conflates the idea of "work you WISH you could create" and "work you CAN create and ENJOY creating." It's a bitter pill to swallow, but there is a difference, even for perfectly able people. My art is tuned to what I have the means and patience to do and like doing. My art will never reach my dream ideal in my head. This is also true for the able bodied artists I know.

"I can't draw -like that,- therefore AI is my only choice" is firing a bullet into your own creative foot regardless of ability status.

Unfortunately this conversation will always be fraught, because everyone is disabled in different ways, under different life circumstances. PERSONALLY I think the discourse would benefit from everyone laying their very specific shit on the table so it can be examined case-by-case, but the hangups are: 1. that's really fuckin' intrusive, 2. there's no reason to believe that there is a "sufficiently disabled" status that would make AI art a Human Necessity, and 3. the majority of people who bring up their own or a hypothetical disability are not looking for help with brainstorming, they're looking to end the argument.

But yeah, I say every time that jittery scribbles are cooler. That half of your art style is built on what you can't do. That generated art is good for a laugh sometimes-- but in the categories of craft and insight, it's pretty barren compared to the rich gold vein to be mined from someone's first-ever drawing of a hand.

These statements never seem to get me anywhere. And that's where I realize ohhh. Ohhhhhhhh. I'm talking to someone who thinks art is the stuff you buy

I'm suffering Fates Brain Rot so I drew OCs? Logical!

Nytis (blondie) is a demon cleric who hates feeling any form of pain but lives to cause others pain (he does indeed see the irony of becoming a cleric). In order to help protect himself he forms a pact with Elnae (red gal) and she basically fights in his place if there is a threat of injury. She also does little errands like info-getting and sneaking around for him.

The thing is, while he can hurt others no problem and it's satisfying, he was granted the ability to heal others after he swore allegiance to a deity he holds no respect nor regard for. He honestly doesn't care about whatever gods exist. HOWEVER. As a demon, simply using holy magic actually hurts him so he's a pretty stingy healer and has a sword "just in case" he has to fight.

That said, he does actually have one thing he refuses to let go unpunished: a kid being injured/cursed. He might be a messed up demon but he draws the lines at letting kids suffer. When El asks about it and is like "haha what, did you have a bad childhood too, buddy?" he's like "???? How else would I end up like this? As a cleric? Hurting myself to heal? What the hell is wrong with you YES I had a bad childhood."

I have a question regarding your monster AU

I would like to know how Ace and Deuce look like physically (I mean clothes and more detailed things on their face), honestly I would like to draw them but I could only find a drawing of Ace and a small description of both of them

Warnings: Blood, Implied murder, Obsession

Your hands pet Deuces tangled locks, a reminder to the lack of care he has for his person. But can you blame him? Is there a point in caring for yourself when you’re no longer living? Then again, there should still be empathy in your soul to humans if you were once one.

“I’m sorry…” Deuce whispers under his breath, his trembling sullied arms hugging you with a great vigor. There should still be empathy for murder. So why… Why is there a man laying face down in front of you? “Are you upset with me?”

You open your mouth, attempting to reply to the zombies question, but halt your ministrations when you spot the blood in between his canines. You close your mouth, mustering one of the falsest smiles you could form.

“I’m… I’m not.” your hand slowly reaches for his neck, pulling him into your body, burying your face into his hair. You don’t see the soft smile accompanied with a pink tint on his face. Though, you really don’t wanna see anything at all.

Especially the dark result of a monster's love.

Dw about it at all!! I was actually attempting to make some sketches about the other Monster roster!! For the most part, any clothes I draw on the characters aren’t exactly canon?? So, you can really go buck wild on their clothing, do whatever you wanna do! And If you’re like me (Can’t draw mens clothes), go the classic way and just, doodle something really basic 💀. Unfortunately, I don’t have a sketch for Ace yet, but when I do i’ll post it! For now, here are some physical details about them!!

Warnings: Slightly Gorey descriptions for their appearances

Ace:

- Scar on his right eye, but since he can’t exactly heal, it’s still open

-the space above his left eye is detoriated and exposes bone, and something not depicted on the doodle is the open space on his head exposing his skull.

- A chunk of his neck is gone, and so is part of his chest

- Unlike Deuce, whose mark is a tattoo, his is actually a part of his death, making it another open wound.

- He doesn’t have skin on his right calf, but unlike Duece, all his limbs are still entirely intact.

- He takes out his left eye frequently to spy, so it tends to be lazy sometimes when he puts it back in.

- Hole below his neck from ????

- It’s not very obvious on the doodle for Ace, bc i forgot about it, but him and Deuce are both the same shade of cool pale grey since their dead

Deuce

- Missing right eye, and skin, so only his skull is visible.

- Loses his left hand frequently.

- Holes in his cheeks expose his mouth.

- His left arm starts off as bone at his shoulder before getting to the forearm and returning to a regular hand.

- Has an open wound on his left leg

- His bottom left side of his torso has a slash wound that’s open, slightly exposing his muscle.

- Open wound on his chest.

- Hole below his neck from ????

And here is the last part

Predaking - Oh, my fiery boy! I have so much to say about him…

He was probably the main reason I got into the Transformers fandom when I was a kid. My thoughts were like: It's a dragon! And a robot at the same time!? And he turns into a hot looking man!?! *mind blown*

Of course, over time I realized that behind the beautiful cover, he was a rather naive and very foolish character with a storyline too much like Dreadwing's. But despite all this, I still love him. Predaking is a real gem of the third season, and perhaps the coolest character in the entire series, and you can’t deny it!

In the WOF version, he is a resurrected dragon from the extinct skywing tribe. Being the largest dragons in this AU, their tribe was the most powerful on the continent until it completely died out due to a wave of cataclysms.

So, Predaking is a real giant compared to other characters. And, in the final addition, he is firescales! Because it’s BADASS!🔥

(and actually, because he gives me pretty strong Peril vibes)

Unfortunately I couldn't give him a bright color, so his firescales nature is shown through glowing areas on his body, creating the effect that he is literally burning from the inside. I also just noticed that his face looks very much like a skull, and I tried to pay attention to this in the design by giving him dark spots around the eye sockets and nostrils

Hardshell - I don’t wanna draw some random insecticon, so I chose this guy. Here I will be short. He’s appears in only two episodes and died almost immediately. He’s more of a plot tool than a real character

His stripes look cool, but drawing them wasn’t easy at all (I hate floating shapes). I wanted to make him look more like his beetle form, adding a big front horn and green plates on his neck. I also think that insecticons should be more different in coloring in this version

Skyquake - Same story - appeared in one episode - died in the same episode. Most of the fandom remembers him only as a zombie from the shadow dimension, and it's kind of sad. I believe he had potential. I always imagined Skyquake as the "brawn" in a duet with his brother, while Dreadwing was more of the "brain". And it would be great if we were shown this contrast, giving Skyquake a chance to prove himself in at least a couple of episodes

His design is, as expected, almost the same as his brother, but I still decided to add some small differences in details to make it more interesting

Vehicons - STEEEEEEVES!

I like these silly dudes)

I didn't want to make them actual clones or something, so here they're just regular nightwings and icewings, but they may look the same because of the iron masks that hide their faces. Like many other dragons, they are victims of a war they may not have wanted to participate in. Actually, in that case their deaths don’t seems so meaningless and even give the autobots actions a darker subtext (although I believe in the theory that they could simply pretend to be dead on the battlefield (I really want to believe in that))

I know there are still a few possible undrawn characters left, like Skylynx and Darksteel or Unicron, but that's probably enough for me. I'm happy with my closed gestalt)
