I was sharing thoughts with @okchijt late at night since Hazbin is such a brainrot for me rn. So some of what I talk about, such as the dynamic between Darling and Alastor/Charlie, is from what I discussed with them.

I took my own creative liberties with this request... sorry if this isn't quite what you wanted :( LOVE THIS SHOW!

So, the idea I came up with is this;

You're the new resident hoping to be redeemed, yes, but you have a past.

Somehow in someway... you have a deal with Alastor.

You were silently hoping that coming to the Hotel and being redeemed would free you.

Yet you end up coming face to face with Alastor the moment you enter.

Now, Charlie can be either intention with you.

Alastor... the way I intend to write Alastor is something dubious.

His intentions can't be read as exclusively platonic or romantic.

He has his own intentions... ones no one but himself can read.

(I will usually write him like this due to him being Asexual in canon... although according to research, even that has a range/spectrum)

As the new resident and a sinner, Charlie naturally wants to redeem you.

Although, she may not learn until later that Alastor has you on a leash like Husk.

If you aren't a soul claimed by Alastor before you enter the Hotel, you will be at some point.

Alastor has an idea of what your plan is... he doesn't like the idea of letting you out of his grasp.

In response, you're allowed to live and work at the Hotel... "for redemption".

Charlie is clueless at first of the tension between you and Alastor.

Although Husk would understand your issue... even if he isn't big on the whole redemption thing.

Just another pet meant to do tricks.

The two are complete opposites, even when they eventually start sharing.

Charlie is too nice for her own good and nearly smothers her obsession at times.

Alastor is, like I've said, mysterious.

You don't know what he wants exactly... but he owns you and your soul.

When Alastor sees Charlie's obsession towards you, he'd share to keep her happy.

In reality you are definitely still his... regardless on if Charlie wants to help you be "better".

Alastor is a reminder of who you once were... the result of a bet gone wrong... you can't scrub the past away that easily.

You're only in here because Alastor's allowing you, anyways.

Eventually Charlie will know of the dynamic between you and Alastor.

Especially if she sees him pull your chain.

The fact that one way or another you got under Alastor's grasp upsets Charlie at first.

But Alastor convinces her of the benefits.

Alastor knows Charlie couldn't dare see you go if you were redeemed.

Charlie goes to deny such a thought... but Alastor cuts her off.

He's seen how Charlie acts around you.

She follows you around like a puppy at times, always asking for your approval and clinging around you.

She loves you... be that as friends or something more twisted.

However... she won't have to worry about that if you just stay here.

That way, Alastor gets to keep your soul under his control... and Charlie gets to keep seeing you.

It's not like Heaven will let her visit.

Charlie may actually be won over by this... resulting in them "sharing" with each other.

It's yet another deal, you now being with "two" masters.

You feel betrayed that Charlie would choose not to redeem you just to keep you to herself.

Alastor merely stares you down with a smug aura, you can feel the chain around your neck even if he didn't manifest it.

No need for kidnapping in this situation, Alastor already has you in his control.

He can keep you in the Hotel with Charlie, even better since his role is playing protector of the place.

Yeah, no other Overlord is coming near you.

Charlie doesn't even like the idea of Alastor "owning" you... but it's better than someone else... hopefully.

At least with Alastor you're in the Hotel.

Your only "solace" is speaking with people like Husk or Angel Dust... at least they understand such a plight somewhat.

Charlie tries to regain your trust the best she can.

She feels horrible for Alastor essentially exposing her true desires.

She clings to you, crying and whimpering about you hating her.

You're sort of forced to comfort her as Vaggie glares at you if you don't.

Idk how well text posts do on Trolls Tumblr, but I have so many thoughts rn and want to talk about feral Branch details.

Feral Branch HC:

Branch has fur, claws on both his feet and hands, his ears move like a cat, and he can see better in the dark

"Feral Trolls" are gray trolls who have adapted from being away from others. Trolls have a built in instinct that recognizes strength in numbers. You see this with rainbow trolls being able to change their colors/auras, and all trolls being able to manipulate their hair. Gray trolls cannot change their aura, but they are around others so they can stay normal

But isolated gray trolls biologically change due to them not being around others. This happens over years, and not automatic. Once a troll changes like this, they cannot undo it. So this is why Branch cannot go back to "normal" physically, even tho he isn't gray and around others

(there's also a psychological/self actualization part. Gray trolls tend to see themselves as the problem and rainbow trolls end up more likely to becoming "feral" looking due to their ability to change their aspects.)

All genres have feral trolls, all presenting differently. Rock and pop are the most similar since they are the two physically closest looks wise

Normal trolls are omnivores, but eat more plants since their digestive systems and body needs focus more on plants. Feral trolls need more meat, but are still omnivorses

If I can get psychological, a lot of their "feral tendencies" are actually just trauma responses and bad socialization issues due to isolation. A lot of responses are stemmed from fear and anger, so lashing out/growling/swiping at others is normally out of fear or response. Plus having to survive in the wild, y'know?

Okay. Done with that part, let's get into Branch!

Branch likes to be in trees and high ground. It comes from living in a pod in the troll tree, but he lives in the bunker because it's safer. So you'll find him in trees normally because he likes being high

Branch normally hibernates during the winter, but ever since he met Poppy he stopped hibernating. This makes him horribly grumpy during the snow season

Not shown: Branch loving his ears to be scratched. Her more sensitive than normal and he loves them being pet. He also loves to lay on top of people. It comes from the need of warmth and him thinking that others need warmth.

He wouldn't lick others, since they don't have fur. But if he's around other feral trolls he'd definitely lick them.

His parents were both half rock and half pop trolls. They both looked like rainbow pop trolls, and the rock parent (dad) did not live in the troll tree. Grandma Rosiepuff was the maternal grandmother and a pop troll

The parents names were Briar and Melody

Branch has the need to burrow all the time. It comes from years in the bunker and from hiding from danger in the earlier years. You will see him burried in someone's bed probably.

Branch is really good at math and science once he starts learning and back into the village. It comes naturally to him. He wants to be a pod architect because it comes naturally to him

Clay and Bruce follow the same thing, where Clay really likes accounting and Bruce loves to run business.

Floyd is the best at performing, with JD behind him. JD though is actually really good at taking care of others and survival. Surprisingly JD can garden and keep a ton of plants alive to feed himself.

Branch and Clay are autistic with different levels of support needed. Branch needs less support while Clay needs more. Thought I'd mention this.

Clay and Viva were best friends before the Troll Tree attack. The others did not know this. Viva and JD are the ones that helped Clay learn better coping mechanisms when the band started to sour

Branch is more sensitive to sound and light. He hates fireworks and doesn't like to be touched unless he knows the person

Ablaze is the one who mainly is teaching Branch coping mechanisms for his PTSD. Poppy is his support throughout everything, but she doesn't know how to help someone heal.

Branch mandates Kismet group cuddles. This dude it touched starved and they’re the only ones he is comfortable like that other than Poppy

Even after Branch is able to speak again, as he was nonverbal when he met Poppy and by Trolls 2 he is speaking again, he prefers to be quiet and doesn't talk as much. It is simply preference at this point

Branch likes to interlock his tail with Poppy's when they're not touching, but close enough :)

- Peter had a lot of red flags you’d had looked past. He was perfect and went above the bar when it came to past men who had entered your life. He remembered your birthday, the anniversaries, even those cheesy days like national hug day and he spared no expense into making it special for you even when there was nothing to celebrate.

- this was honestly a big part in why you were so accommodating when he was less than savory to be around, you yourself are surprised with how much of a pushover you were in the past. Guess it shows just how low the bar is for you.

- things eventually just started connecting as you got to know him. The possessiveness being a big part, it felt like ever since getting to know him your social life sort of…. changed. He was always there for you, he said it himself and had done more then enough to prove it through his actions towards you.

- he didn’t do anything, not while you were watching anyways but you saw that change in demeanor. He’s done it before though it was always a flash of an emotion you could not name, it always intimidated you but never for long as he was back to his same old lovable self.

There’s a thud and suddenly everything is just black.

- you find yourself with a pounding headache and foggy vision bound against a soft surface, most likely a mattress. You try to move but you find your wrist cold from a handcuff keeping you fastened against the bed post. Everything from last night comes back and you’re reliving everything, a panic attack hits you before you calm down again having hope that there may be a way out of this.

- your captor, the person you thought you’d see comes walking in with a slight hop in his step. Almost as if last night never even happened, he has a tray of food. You aren’t sure what it is but you know you want no part in it immediately readying your voice to try and talk your way out of this predicament.

- there’s a stool by the bed your bound to, he sits on it and puts the tray on the bedside table right by your head.

- he tells you good morning in a sickly sweet voice you wish you’d never hear, almost as sickening as the deep purple bruise left on your arm after the mere grip put on you last night.

- you don’t offer a kind response back (who would let’s be honest) but it doesn’t seem like he minds. That flips a switch when the next words fly out of your mouth, almost as if you didn’t even think about who you were talking to before you spoke.

- nasty words continuously come out of your mouth begging him to let you go all the while barking like a chihuahua as if you were trying to hit a nerve. Who could take anyone seriously while they were tied down though?

- he laughs it off, this is why he loves you so much. You have a quality that can’t be copied, your spirit is so pure to him. He can’t help but communicate how much he loves you with a breathy voice and an ethereal stare.

- you’re next words were your biggest mistake, the ones that sealed your fate. You just couldn’t say you loved him back.

- his reaction, it’s not as bad as last night but still terrifying nevertheless. He understands it’s a process in a relationship but to spout such nonsense is enough to rile him up all over again.

- he’s more than offended at being told that he doesn’t really love you and only like the idea of you, you’re more than that to him. You’re essence, the mere presence of you is enough to blow him away. He huffs it away with a smirk, you don’t mean that.

May I hear some HCs in regards to Jekyll and Hyde? 🤣

Of course!!

I read a fic where Hyde played the piano and I absolutely live for that. Jekyll probably got lessons or something when he was younger, but quickly dropped it on account of focusing on his studies. Hyde though? He ABSOLUTELY whips out some killer ragtime songs at bars (or anywhere with a piano OR reed organ, honestly) when he feels like showing off or bringing up the mood. Like, I imagine him to have the same energy as Will Wood when playing (speed and enthusiasm wise, here's a good video for reference lmao)

On the flip side, Jekyll sings/hums to himself when mindlessly doing things (like cleaning up) and when bathing. Usually Scottish ballads, but he's also picked up some more popular British ones from Hyde. Hyde also sometimes asks Jekyll to sing to whatever he's playing, and if Jekylls in a particularly good mood, with some coaxing, he'll give in.

Jekyll had to give Hyde his own little journal so he would stop defacing the journal he kept his experimental logs in. Hyde still uses it, and is actually on his second journal of shitty doodles. He likes to leave it open on pages with mean doodles of Jekyll, or obscene things he knows will make the other flustered, just to get a little rise out of the man.

Hyde has tried bringing some of the nicer street rats back to the society to keep as a 'pet' (he wanted to try and train one to attack and do things he says) but Jekyll has thankfully put a stop to that every time.

Jekyll's eyes before the potion were just a really pretty brown and only got that deep red color after. Surprisingly, no one really asked about it because of how his eyes already shone in the light.

Jekyll starts slipping into his Glaswegian accent when he's super drunk or angry (and when he's more sleep deprived than usual). It also slips into Hyde's voice a bit in high stress moments. At one point, Hyde got hit pretty nasty in the head and could only speak Glaswegian for a good few hours. Jekyll forced him to isolate, as to keep it a secret, and led him through brewing something to help. He didn't complain much about the few things that got broken, but he did scold Hyde for biting off more than he could chew (and for leaving him with such a horrible headache that he couldn't get rid of).

Hyde is surprisingly clumsy when he's not roof hopping. He's the type of mf to fall up the stairs. I'm also a firm believer that he does that ADHD walk thing where he just twists his body around tables and corners and such, along with drifting a bit while he walks (which has made him bump into many people, causing fights). Jekyll on the other hand? Yeah, he's got that high society gait and is super thoughtful about how he moves, but he also just runs into shit. Generally it's when he's alone and/or working (or super tired and weak), but there have been a handful of instances where he did it around Lanyon or Rachel that he still gets embarrassed thinking about (the bloody nose he had one time in front of Lanyon was not fun).

♥ ^ Yeah and don't touch his stuff because he is very protective of his collections. Therefore, he'd also never mess with something you own.

♥ If you're the type of person to have stuffed animals, and especially make them talk, he isn't going to pick up on that very quickly as means of a thing people still do. He'll give a history lesson as to 'ah yes, i've learned about this form of imagination within cultures of story telling, oral adventures'.

♥ Most of the time, he'll put your comfort over his.

♥ He'll stay up with you whenever you have trouble sleeping and are fully awake at 2am, no matter the cost. He is going to make sure that you know he is always there for you. He always has things to do.

I feel like Joe was the guy who, when he was way younger, tried to make it seem like he knew what he was doing because he wanted to seem hot and confident but as soon as the girl he was getting steamy with sat on his lap for the first time, his body instantly went rigid. She asked if he was ok and he said yeah but eventually with a little coaxing and reassurance she finally got him to admit that he had no clue what to do. Either that or when he was young, the only knowledge he had was from p*rn. So he thought he knew what to do but was eventually extremely humbled by the first few girls he was with going "Bro no— what the fuck are you doing." Cherry on the other hand strikes me as the type that actually had a decent amount of good knowledge from different locations, but kind of saw sex as pointless since he was more focused on getting a good career. But that whole thing also got me thinking about how they would be if either of them were your first time.

For Joe, he thinks you're absolutely adorable. So cute, so shy, so pliant. and i think you’re right - he’s not one to want to be someone’s first as a one time thing because he wants it to be something special for them, perhaps because it wasn’t for him. some of it also has to do with him fearing you’ll get too attached if you’re not already in a long term relationship; in that regard i almost think he’d put sex off until after “i love you”s are said for the first time with someone who’s never had sex. he spent a long time without sex before you, so he’s not bothered by waiting now.

with that said, kaoru’s not gonna say i love you first or easily, so reader might actually be the one getting impatient to have sex or think that he’s disinterested or even unnattracted to them. he’s not either of those things, he just wants you to be sure, and he doesn’t want to hurt someone he cares for. and if you believe for one second that it’s because he doesn’t want you, he’s more than ready to show you otherwise. but with kaoru, intimacy doesn’t really go past making out, grinding, and heavy petting until he’s ready to take on the risk of you getting attached.

Toritsuka headcanons sort of

As a saiki k watcher I’ve always thought like what if Toritsuka wasn’t. Like That. like he can still be horny just a little bit less. pervert character tropey yk

The following hcs are just what I see him as. A lot of them are solidly or loosely tied to canon but some of them I just made the fuck up

-‘weird kid’ for most of his life because of his powers

-used to be constantly staring off “into space” and mumbling to “himself” but has since become good at covertly talking to ghosts and hiding his ability to see them. literally masking so autismcore

-touches people on the shoulder or some other covert way of checking before even making eye contact just to be sure

-works odd jobs to save money (planning to move out of the temple one day probably)

-still does p*rn mag ranking because that gag was funny asf

-thought his powers were a curse for a good part of his childhood because they often lead to him being ostracized. way more mellowed out about his opinions on them by the time he’s introduced in canon time tho

-but those feelings definitely still linger. he constantly tries to make use of his powers bc then ‘at least they’re there for something’

-was half power hungry when he went to saiki, and half like “oh yeah a guy who Understands !!” saiki felt too bad about the second part to properly turn him away

-exorcises ghosts for money as like. A side gig. Never actually gets rid of the offending ghost, instead tries to have the ghost and living person negotiate terms that work for both of them through him like a couples therapist

-can actually exorcise ghosts but he only does it if they’re being evil On Purpose bc it’s like being a landlord and kicking your poor tenant out onto the street most of the time

-clingy as hell because he’s constantly making sure the people around him are still corporeal, especially saiki

-disliked aiura at first because it felt like losing the first person who he could find acceptance with. slowly realizes that sharing is caring

I don’t have all of the lore sorted out rn but i know that they have three kids the first two are girls and the last is a boy.

but with their first daughter…i sort of have some of her stuff sorted out i mean it might change but…

SO (if you don’t mind me infodumping i just NEED to know someone else’s opinion and i have no other ppl who won’t think i’m crazy.)

first things first. Her name is wysteria (just a dif spelling of wisteria cause it looks cool) Bianca solace di angelo (or di angelo solace i can never decide…)

she has tanner skin and freckles but nico’s brown eyes and wills blonde hair. her hair is pretty dang long and sort of whispy almost like taylor’s at the start of her career. (also i find it funny if she were to just have the horrendous mash of an italian and southern accent lmao)

most of the time i imagine her she’s like 16-ish. she’s very kind and caring like will.

she’s either aroace or a lesbian or both i can’t decide yet-

she likes dresses over other clothes (we don’t judge a girl who knows what she likes even tho that’s a stereotype)

and her main powers are sort of a combination of hades and apollo but she more specializes in the light and dark aspects of the two gods.

SO she has really good light manipulation powers and can blind people and if she tries REALLY REALLY HARD she can make it a tangible object she can step on. she also glows cause idk it’s funny.

BUT she also has amazing shadow bending powers. she can again blind people but with obscuring their vision and she is MUCH better at shadow travel than nico is since her specialty is shadows. she’s not very great at the other hades aspects tho. she gets tired after like 10 jumps where nico gets tired after 1. so she normally fights by reaching out to the shadows and pulling them around herself and then zipping around the enemy and teleporting away before they can get to her. it looks very cool from afar. her main weapon is a stygian iron sword like nico’s but it looks kinda different and has some gold aspects. (hazel got the gold for her)

she loves music and to sing (ehem headcanon that she sung a version of nancy mulligan for one of nico and wills anniversary’s ehem)

but she is great all around and i love her even if i’m the only one who actually thinks of her existence.

personally i'm a fan of solace di angelo bc when you put it into google translate, italian -> english, it means "angel's solace" (and i know that google translate is far from accurate, but i just find that so cute <3) but also my brain says make it alphabetical order (so di angelo solace...) either way both are great!!

-i like to think that even after the events of brain damaged, other dude is still sorta there. like, he's not as prevalent as a voice than, say, p3 in paradise lost, but he still pops up every now and then. he's moreso there just to tick bd off than actually convincing him to do something violent.

i've been thinking abt one lil scenario in particular, where bd loses something under like, and couch or something, so he has to bend down to get it. while doing this, he sorts subconsciously arches his back. other dude being the prick he is, is quick to make a dumb joke about it

"you've got a perfect arch goin' on here. you did it so effortlessly, too...almost like you've..done this before."

bd has to stop himself from just smacking himself in the back of the head

-pulls out one of those comically long scrolls. boy oh boy do i have a lot to say abt this old man

-despite his age, i like to think that he's still rlly agile. he still definitely has his "my back!" moments, but compared to other ppl his age, he's in fairly good shape

-this is gonna sound dumb, but i think he's besties with duke nukem. duke has probably retired from kicking alien ass by now, so he and dude just hang out regularly. they go on walks, they hang out at the park, hell, they'd probably crash some random party, if they felt like it

-they also probably kiss on the regular, but, y'know, that's neither here nor there

-he'd definitely be one of those dudes that only ever posts photos of their dogs. if he had an instagram acc, he'd post so many photos of champ

-this hc is in direct contrast to one of my hcs abt p1. while p1 has absolutely horrible food aversions, p4 will practically eat anything. you wouldn't have to pay him to do it, he'd eat something weird "just because he felt like it"

-he has a stereotypical "loud dad snore", which makes him a pain to sleep next to/in the same room as

-the pansexual ever. he could care less what you identify as, as long as he thinks you're cool, he's getting with you

-has a vast vinyl collection. he probably has one of those older vinyl players from when they were more mainstream

-has a habit of focusing too hard on things. he'll pick out something to do, and he'll stick to it. he could do an entire 500 piece puzzle in one sitting

-in contrast, he's also very hyperactive, and can rarely get himself to stay still. he's always doing something, no matter what time of the day it is

-has a very keen eye. he notices changes in the smallest things and will always point them out

-definitely gets hit on by the old women in the nearby retirement home. they see him walking by and start whistling and shi (he loves it)

-has a switchcomb on him at all times. he loves whipping it out and slicking his hair back, á la 50s greaser

-as much as i love describing him as a stinky old man, i think he actually smells pretty good :)

HB Reimagined HCs: The Ars Goetia

Randomly had some thoughts back to my HB Reimagined AU atm, and since I already chatted a bit about Stolas earlier... who wants to hear some lore I had in mind for the Ars Goetia society itself?

*To clarify, as this is ofc an AU this is not meant to be a criticism against the canon HB's lore or however... just something I wanted to make for the fun of it 'cause well- I love demon birds lol*

-Many, many millennia ago... the Ars Goetia were descended from fallen angels, cast aside from the great war to serve loyally under Lucifer's will. Being renown for their beauty, grace and feathered forms even back when serving Heaven... overtime they formed into the (mostly) avian high-society folk you see today.

-The Ars Goetia, revered as they are overall, are actually split into their own personal hierarchies based on what powers/roles they serve to King Paimon. Some (aka: Stolas) are tasked with looking after celestial bodies, prophecies, and other forms of black magic... while others (aka: Andrealphus) use elemental spells to provide comfort to their fellow Goetias against the generally toxic Hell environment. On the "bottom" tiers of Goetia society, would be the typical noble-class who'd just socialize with one another, provide gossip/useful tidbits for their admired royalty (aka: Stella through her marriage to Stolas), and keep things "entertaining" to their own standards. It may not provide much "usefulness" in terms of gaining power/resources... but for how dangerous and unpredictable Hell can be, its helpful to at least keep a "peaceful comfort" type of vibe, anyway.

-Marriage within the Ars Goetia is a bit of a... "mixed" bag, primarily done for either political power gain, wealth improvement, and sometimes even for actual-love (though rare, its not impossible given how irl birds can form a "mate-for-life" type of bond). Arranged marriages can be formed from when a pair is either young (childhood-teen years) by their parents/other relatives, or between the couple themselves offering said proposal to eachother once they're matured adults. Other Goetias may have multiple spouses instead of staying strictly monogamous, have same-sex marriages, or even not marry at all (depending on the individual).

-The concept of "precautionary heirs" isn't really a thing since Goetias are among the classes of Hell demons who are widely-considered "immortal"... so with such long lifespans one would expect a Goetia couple to wait a bit in having children (unless they genuinely, truly desire to be parents right away), or just not have any at all if there's no risk in their lives. Stolas was among the older-aged Goetias who only recently decided on starting a family (due to the increase in Heaven's "exterminators" invading Hell); having the premonition in seeing himself "die" in a holy way down the line... hence Octavia being as young as she is rn (though Stella lowkey wanted a kid alot earlier in their marriage, Stolas just didn't have the time to bring up said topic due to his own responsibilities over the stars, herbology, etc.).

-When a Goetia child is conceived, they first start out life through... well, an egg lol. Often coming in a wide variety of spots, colors, patterns, etc... these arrivals would often be celebrated through "nest showers"; taking place with the parents' close companions giving their blessings/gifts to the little one. A common bonding activity at these events is through casting a magical light under the egg, the hue glowing the color of respective embyro's sex (ex. pink for a girl, blue for a boy, sometimes flickering the same/both colors twice if the egg is carrying twins). When it comes time for hatching to begin, typically the egg-laying parent would gather up all the comfiest of blankets/throws/other items to create a "nest" for the egg to incubate in... taking over a good few days until the first few cracks of the shell start to form.

-Upon hatching completely, a Goetia chick would typically be born without feathers (depending on the specific Goetia species), blind and constantly "chirping" for food. To any other Hell species these babies may not exactly be... well, the "cutest", but to their parents they're often praised as the pinnacle of beauty, and dolled up to show off wherever they go. After a few weeks/months as a hatchling, the chick will steadily open their eyes and "fluff up" in downy feathers... only increasing further in adoration by both loved ones and outsiders-alike.

-Goetias may not have "visible" wings on themselves like a typical (anthro) bird... but when they feel the mood to "fly" around high places in Hell, they can sometimes shift their arms into a pair of wings for help in gliding. Others like a waterfowl-based Goetia use their arm-wings for swimming underwater at swift, graceful movements.

-Among the usual love languages of kisses, cuddling, gift-giving, and so on... a common way for a Goetia to show love is through "preening" (aka, nibbling their beaks to clean through a patch of feathers). For Goetias this is often a soft, intimate gesture only preserved for the closest of bonds (a parent and child, lovers, best friends, etc.). On a non-Goetia, this gesture would feel... "awkward" to experience, since there's no feathers to actually preen through (so the skin would basically just be all scratched/nibbled on, really lol).
